So how old are Pearl and Gem supposed to be here? Is this real-life ages or are they supposed to be teens or somewhere (mostly asking cause Gem's coat literally makes her look twice as big in terms of width and height XD)

Pearl and Gem are both about 20/21 here, as it is their region’s current age requirement for competing in the Gym Challenge!

For some reason this requirement was upped from 18 to age 20 a few years ago… they don’t really know why 👀
