Dear Maria, Count me in: [Points] You, boy. What is your relationship to Piers
Also wanna know the name one for your Karakuri Circus s/i…
TEEHE HI i like this question because i've actually been thinking about aster's relationship to piers a lot :3 i'm not 100% sure if i'm going to keep it like this because aster's backstory is a mystery even to myself BUT. something i've been thinking about is that he actually left his small home town to ✨go see the world✨ but um he eventually just kinda ends up staying in spikemuth (probably because rent is comparably low). he doesn't really know anyone there but goes to visit one of pier's concerts one day and piers, probably being pretty familiar with his usual crowd, spots a new face in the audience and also realizes that aster looks...kind of lost, so he goes to talk to him after the show. i know he's probably not the most sociable guy (and neither is aster) but i also think he really does care about his fans and also just spikemuth and those living in it in general, so i could see him feeling some kind of obligation to say hi to the new guy and figure out what kind of person he is maybe. after chatting for a bit (and maybe hitting a bar or two together) it turns out the get along pretty well actually, so they start hanging out frequently! piers is pretty much the first friend aster makes in spikemuth but he also introduces him to a bunch of other people (including marnie, who aster thinks is a lot cooler than him despite her being like 10 at that point) and just generally helps him feel more at home there, which aster is very grateful about. they both realize that the other is someone they can vent to about their feelings because they know what it's like to feel inadequate - piers because he wants to be the best gym leader/role model for the people of spikemuth/marnie but struggles to live up to his own expectations, and aster because he's got some passion & talent as a trainer but often gets held back by his own self doubt & anxieties. so they both become someone they can trust and confide in to each other but also often just hang out for fun, and aster also becomes a big fan & supporter of pier's music. i think piers would probably try teaching aster how to play an instrument and aster would kinda suck at it because he's got no musical talent but it's fine. also i could see piers being the one who actually introduces aster to kabu, probably not because he's trying to set them up specifically but maybe because he ends up dragging aster along to some kind of meeting that he thinks is gonna be boring and he wants to make aster suffer with him. also if piers and aster meet before piers gets with champ aster would absolutely try to hype him up lmao....<3 so yeah long story short, i think they would definitely be good friends....even if he met kabu first and got introduced to piers later on i think they'd just be vibing w each other! i don't really define a lot of characters as platonic f/os but y'know. i'm just slapping that label on piers actually
Tumblr media
What’s your s/i’s full name (middle and last name included if there is one), and what’s the meaning of it? Do you agree that your s/i resembles the meaning of their name? Would your s/i agree?
OK THAT WAS A LOT UM. moving on to silvio (no middle or last name)!! the name apparently means "wood/forest/from the woods" ...which i just had to look up and which doesn't really have a particular connection to his character, although "wood" might be a little fitting in an ironic sense considering he's got a kind of reverse pinocchio situation going on (-> human boy that wishes to be a puppet/machine)
i mainly just wanted to stick with the theme of characters (particularly the pionniers & derniers) being named after commedia dell'arte stock characters so i ended up going w the male part of the lovers/innamorati and just. picked a name i liked from a list of names commonly given to them. To Be Honest my thought process was pretty much just "haha wouldn't it be funny to name him after the lovers since he pretty much just exists so he can go kiss that one guy" but at this point i could actually probably go on a tangent about the ways he does and doesn't relate to the character (which i might do in another post....perhaps) and i've started taking a little bit inspiration from portrayals of the character here and there!

Screw it. It's almost 3 AM and I'm once again still on PLA trying to get a distortion to spawn, so I'm gonna talk about my trainer who is the same as the one I had in Shield and is an alternate universe version of a ygo5ds character of mine. Putting it under a Keep Reading thing, though, so it doesn't consume the dashboard.
(Okay it was 3 AM when I started this but I got tired and went to bed so it's no longer true ahgohoggwd)
My trainer's name is Kara. She has a twin sister named Kahlan, who goes by Kay for short. Their mom was the champion of a region (haven't decided which one) and they didn't have a good relationship with her. She wanted them to be competitive trainers from a young age and she'd only spend time with her daughters to push them in that direction. She especially pushed Kara, who seemed to have a natural talent for Pokemon battles. The neglect and pressure drove the twins to run away from home and live their lives far away from their mother.
Kara also swore off ever becoming a trainer and didn't have any Pokemon of her own, until she took on the Gym Challenge in Galar.
Kara and Kay hopped from place to place until they eventually settled in Postwick as Hop and Leon's neighbors. Kara tried to keep a low profile and avoid others, but you know Hop. Kay also wanted her sister to try and make friends, because she liked Galar and hoped they would stay here for a long time as opposed to all the other places they'd been.
Hop is the reason Kara eventually does the Gym Challenge. He'd been annoying her about it for years, having decided she would be his worthy rival in the world of Pokemon. (I moved the timeline back a bit, so Kara and Hop and co. are like 17-18 when they do the gyms instead of the ages they are in the canon games.)
He finally wore her down to the point she agreed to get a Starter Pokemon from Leon and see if he would endorse her. She planned on failing on purpose and releasing the Pokemon when she could. Unfortunately, she couldn't make herself do either of those things once she entered her first battle against Hop. He annoyed her to the point where she had to defeat him.
Her Starter is a female Sobble, who she named Snipelass (like I did in game.)
She excels in the gyms, of course, and assists with the PokeDex as well as everything else in the main story, albeit mostly reluctantly. Her first impressions of Bede are unpleasant--cocky mf kinda reminded her of her mother--and she is less than impressed when he comes at her boasting of his skills only for his team to be made up of Psychic-Types. She is indifferent towards Marnie.
Over time, she starts to warm up to her competitors/friends. Still only tolerates Hop. Never trusts Rose or Oleana. Comes to admire Marnie and Piers and Spikemuth in general. At least understands Bede, finding his whole situation with the chairman suspect. The ones she opens her heart to the most are the Pokemon she meets/ catches in her journey. Etc.
Beats Eternatus with Hop, Zamazenta, and Zacian. Becomes champion. Is alright with being champion...for a time. Completes the Dex. Does the tasks on the Isle of Armor and in the Crown Tundra. Obtains Legendaries. Actually has relationships with people instead of keeping her distance.
But the pressure of living up to Leon's legendary status, along with all the things that come with being champion, wears her down. She also hates seeing her Pokemon faint, which just stresses her out further. Kara begins to withdraw herself from everyone. Has a discussion with her Pokemon about staging a loss so she can get away from all of this. She even considers just running away, this time without Kay.
No one is blind to her change in behavior, though, and Zamazenta is concerned enough to talk to his sister Zacian, who is in Hop's care. Kara comes home one night and finds all the Gym Leaders (and Hop, Piers, Leon, and Sonia) waiting there with Kay. They convince her to just simply step down from the position. She goes a bit further and retires from competitive Pokemon altogether.
A tournament is held to see who will take her place. Leon is too busy as chairman, so I guess Raihan or Melony would win.
(I have a plot about Kara and Kay's mom returning to their lives and forcing her back into the championship role, but I'm not going into detail about that here.)
Quick summary of relationships prior to her being pulled into PLA, which happens roughly two years after she steps down from being champion: sees many of the Gym Leaders as family (Piers is Big Bro material and so is Milo, Nessa is Big Sis, Allister is Little Bro, Kabu is Dad), good friends with Marnie, dating Bede, okay with just about everyone else.
So Arceus decides Kara will be his hero in Hisui or whatever and plucks her outta her time and space into this one. Zamazenta, in his Master Ball, is the only thing she's able to take with her, aside from her phone (which is transformed into the Arc Phone) and her travel backpack (which has a tent and all her things for making curry and stuff). Zamazenta is stuck in his underpowered form, however, as his Rusted Armor is left behind in future Galar.
No amnesia for Kara. It's the real driving force behind everything she does, because she's hoping Arceus or one of the other Legendaries will send her back once she's done with everything in Hisui. She presses herself to the limits. After all, the sooner she finishes everything, the sooner she'll go home, right? Right?
Against her better judgment, she befriends a few people. Volo, first and foremost. Her new Starter, a female Cyndaquil she names Pyrrha. Professor Laventon. Adaman. Ingo, eventually. The Galaxy Team members yet to be named and Irida are also friends, albeit to a lesser extent. She's careful with some of the things she says and never lets anyone see the Master Ball after she realizes how far into the past she is, fearing she might accidentally change history, which she's sure isn't Arceus's intention. She hates potato mochi within a week of having to eat it daily, but holds off on making curry for over a month for the same reason she's cautious with her words. Many of her teammates enjoy it. This causes some friction with Beni, but she felt he didn't like her to begin with, anyway, so.
Kamado trusts her even less than he trusts the PC in canon. She fell from the sky with a Pokemon no one has ever seen, knows more about Pokemon than people who have been studying them for years, is unafraid of Pokemon, and has strange technology. Couple this with the frenzied Nobles only becoming that way the same night Kara fell out of the sky and you've got a greater recipe for paranoia. She feels this, but figures it won't matter in the end, because she's doing what he tells her to while performing Arceus's assignment and she should be returning home soon...she hopes.
Injuries she sustains while quelling Lord Electrode put her out of commission for days. She tries to return to the field several times, but the Medical Corp won't let her. Zamazenta even lays on top of her to prevent her escape at one point. Later, when she goes to quell Lord Avalugg, it takes her several attempts and she gets hurt. A lot. And it's worse than with Electrode. But she always pushes others away when they try to remove her from the battlefield, refusing to submit because this is keeping her from home. Her new friends worry she's working herself to death. The only one completely okay with her doing this is Kamado. He wants her gone as much as she wants to be gone.
(Oh yeah, before I forget, Kara kinda recognizes Ingo. One of the places she and Kay lived in before Galar was Unova, and while she didn't use Pokemon and wasn't a trainer at the time, she most likely would've seen some advertisement for the Subway Masters in her time there. She doesn't know why he's been brought here, nor does she understand why she has her memories and he doesn't. But twin bonding happens with Kara and Uncle Ingo. It's hard to be separated from a twin, even if one can't remember them.)
The day the sky turns red is one of the worst days of Kara's life. She knows the moment Cyllene tells her that Kamado wants to see her that she's going to be blamed. Despite everything she'd done for the Galaxy Team and the Diamond and Pearl Clans, she was still going to be the one accused of making this happen. She goes quietly, and whenever anyone tries to speak up on her behalf, she snaps at them to shut up. They don't need to suffer for her alleged crimes. She'll be fine. It's not her first time being outside a village/town and surviving in the wild. Hell, she was "attacked" by Pokemon back in the Wild Areas of Galar, long before she came to old Hisui. This isn't new.
Even so, she is thoroughly defeated, which she only allows herself to reveal once she is alone. She doesn't understand why Arceus brought her here to suffer like this. What had she done to deserve this? Did he hate her that much? Why? Why did this have to happen? She cries in a mix of rage and despair and nearly chucks her stupid Arc Phone into nearby water.
Volo shows up then, providing her with a place to stay and a goal. Adaman and Irida find her at the ancient retreat and offer their assistance as well. Of course she chooses Adaman to accompany her on her journey to the lakes. (She's developed feelings for both Volo and Adaman by the time this happens.) She proceeds to collect the Red Chain and heads for the Temple of Sinnoh.
When confronted with Beni and then Kamado, she only engages in a Pokemon battle with the former. It's a literal fistfight for the latter. He doesn't deserve to escape her physical wrath through their Pokemon. No. She's throwing hands, much to the shock of everyone around to witness it. He wouldn't listen to reason before, so she'll knock it into him. Knocks him out. Walks past his unconscious body to face Dialga, who she proceeds to catch. The rest of the main game story goes pretty much the same.
While everyone is happy about the rift closing, Kara is upset. If she indeed fell from it, then it closing means she probably can't return home. Everything she'd been working towards...Was it for nothing? She doesn't attend the festival thrown to celebrate the return to the norm, an action that doesn't go unnoticed by her friends. She doesn't explain why, either, lying about being exhausted from the fight with Palkia. They can't really call her out on this lie.
The Arc Phone reminds her to "Seek out all Pokemon," which gives her a bit of hope that there's still a chance to go home. Volo also suggests that maybe gathering the rest of the plates could help. She once again pushes herself to complete the Dex and gather the plates as quickly as possible. The plates are the easier task, of course.
Betrayal at the Temple of Sinnoh. Giratina doesn't actually want to fight Kara (I headcanon some Legendaries having memory that transcends time and space and stuff, and since she caught him in a Max Raid in the Crown Tundra, they're friends) but he made a promise to Volo so he has no choice. Kara wins and Giratina leaves. Volo is about to hand over the Spooky/Ghost Plate when Kara punches him in the face, knocking him to the ground. She doesn't take his betrayal well, to say the least, for reasons that I won't go into here but aren't in canon, either.
She kinda keeps his actions to herself for a while, trying to ignore the pain as she works on the Dex. When she finally finishes it, she doesn't know what to expect, but it certainly isn't a battle with Arceus. And when she defeats him (after failing multiple times) and he has a copy of himself put into a Pokeball, she expects she'll be going home shortly thereafter.
She doesn't :^)
Her friends in Galar are worried sick, especially her twin sister Kay. I think maybe she and Emmet could meet because of this. Twins being split could make it happen. Idk.
Anyway that's what I got that I'm gonna share for now. If you read, great, if not, that's okay, too. Not deleting this any time soon, if ever.

pls pls pls just. as many allister and piers hcs as you have.... i yearn for their friendship or even really just anything about either of them in general but especially when it involves both of them KNSJBBFJS
Your wish is my command, anon.
-To outsiders, Piers may seem loud and bold at all times. The truth is that he speaks quietly outside of performing. Partly because he's shy, and partly because he wants to protect his voice.
-Allister is very sensitive to social situations, especially loud noises. He's overwhelmed easily.
-Piers knows that feeling, and knows when to take Allister somewhere quiet if they're in a social function together. Allister feels like Piers understands this more than others, seeing as all the other gym leaders are more extroverted.
-Allister and Marnie are good friends, so when Allister needs to be watched by someone, Piers is a go-to. It's not often, but Allister likes when this happens.
-The previous Spikemuth gym leader was a lazy guy who was in it for the money. He was an electric type "trainer" who let the town fall into more decay than it already was, but he was a natural talent, so other Spikemuth trainers couldn't overthrow him. Piers has a bond with his pokemon like no other, though, and was strong enough to knock that previous trainer off his pedestal and take his place. Some may criticize that Piers only became a gym leader to have the money to take care of Marnie, but he does truly care about Spikemuth as well and makes actual efforts to improve the town.
-Allister didn't need to overthrow anyone to become a gym leader. He was noticed by the league and added to Stow-on-Side as a secondary gym leader. He's still in training, technically, but he's an absolute prodigy, so he does get days of his own to run the gym.
-Allister, being so young and also a ghost type trainer, faces a lot of harassments from people who think he violates rules or that his pokemon are evil. Piers was also immediately criticized for his type of choice when he joined the league. Piers has learned to ignore the hate and continue to advocate for Dark Type Positivity, and thus, also coaches Allister to do the same.
-Allister lives with Bea. They have adults who come by often and take care of them, but for the most part it's just the two of them. They're not blood related but they do view each other as siblings.
-Piers has given Bea a lot of advice on how to be there for Allister. He did raise Marnie himself, after all.
-Allister is afraid of most of Spikemuth, so whenever he has to visit, Piers meets them at the main entrance and doesn't leave Allister alone unless they're in a safe place.
-Piers is often up late at night because he has a hard time sleeping. Allister is often up late at night because he's wandering through a graveyard or something. It's a good time for Allister to just talk to an adult. Piers has spent many late nights texting Allister life advice and answering difficult questions.
-Allister is NOT afraid of Obstagoon, and very much loves him. Obstagoon is more than happy to play with Allister, or be there with him when Piers can't be.
-Allister's pokemon make Piers nervous, but he does his best not to show it.
-Piers has Allister's favorite candy for him every time they see each other. Allister always has a story to tell. Piers likes to hear Allister's ghost stories, even if he'll spend the night hyperaware of the creaks in his house later.

Power Trip
In which Piers is an actual bad guy and does actual bad guy-things.
*
Obstruct is a dark-type move. It’s unique among dark-type moves in that it is a straightforward block. In fact, it works remarkably like the move King’s Shield. But while Aegislash is the partner of kings, Obstagoon have traditionally been seen with traitors and outcasts.
Piers made his peace long ago with being the outcast of the league. They get a heel, and he gets a nice paycheck and a region-wide audience. He’s always been more comfortable as an outsider anyway. After all, he’s from Spikemuth.
The crowd roars when Leon’s Aegislash protects itself. They jeer when Obstagoon does the same.
Not like it matters, anyway. Of course Leon wins.
The champion grins as they shake hands, praising Piers on training his Pokémon so well. There’s no use returning the compliment. He gives a strained smile and waves dismissively to the cameras as he walks off the pitch.
“Leader Piers! Why didn’t you Dynamax when Leon did?”
“Do you think your unusual battle style caused your defeat today?”
“Can you tell us about the album you’re currently working on?”
He doesn’t answer any of them. He doesn’t have to; his contract is very clear that he is only obligated to talk to reporters at press events, and only if he’s been given twenty-four hours’ notice that there will be a press event. Besides, the questions they’re asking now will just have the same answers he’s given before. He hates repeating himself.
*
Aura Wheel is a dark-type move. Or it is half the time, anyway. It’s funny. While the dark type is mostly defined by pragmatic actions, it is also associated with, well, darkness. There’s no “light” type, but if there was one, it would be electric.
Piers congratulates himself again on choosing the perfect partner for his sister.
He wants Marnie to shine. He may be biased, but he thinks she's the most amazing person on earth. She’s a good person, better than he is, and she’s a good battler, better than he is. If anyone deserves to be champion, it’s her.
But success in the league takes more than talent. It takes a willingness to follow the league’s standards, it takes well-faked enthusiasm, it takes marketability.
So Piers is more than willing to use his influence to give her an edge.
He starts with his gym trainers’ admiration of Marnie, encouraging them to cheer for her at her matches. He gives them a name: Team Yell. Soon there are others joining the fan club. Nobody complains about his directions.
Fandom is part of the spectacle of the league. Piers is the leader of Team Yell, but officially, he’s not responsible for any mild mischief a fan gets up to. He doesn’t even direct them to do much. At least, he doesn’t direct the grunts. His gym trainers, yeah, they do the important stuff.
Rose is up to something. It’s big — Piers knows this because every project the chairman takes on is. It’s shady — Piers knows this because it’s not like the man to keep his projects quiet.
He sends Team Yell around the region and does some investigating himself. Nobody questions why Piers is suddenly showing up to league meetings; they’re just happy that he is. He comes to Rose Tower when he’s invited, and he stays even after the meetings are over. He walks through the lesser-used stairways, down the closed-to-the-public halls.
That’s when he hears the name Eternatus.
Luckily for him, Macro Cosmos’ grunts don’t seem to realize the importance of secrets. From scattered conversations he figures out that there’s a great big something in Hammerlocke, under the energy plant. It’s not league-approved, but then Rose is perhaps the only man in Galar more powerful than the league.
If Piers is smart, he can find a way to use this.
So he starts spending more time in Hammerlocke. It’s fun, actually; he and Raihan are friends, and they’ve managed to make a lot of progress on their DnD campaign. They even train together sometimes, making use of Raihan’s 24/7 access to the stadium.
Being a specialist means knowing when to taunt and when to flatter.
* He’s hanging out with Raihan when the latter says, “Wanna see something?”
Of course.
Raihan slides his key card by the elevator and takes him to the bottom floor.
The basement smells of gasoline. There’s a large orb in the center of the room; this, Raihan tells him, is Eternatus. See the tubes here? That’s where Rose is going to store the energy of the Pokemon. See this gadget here, only a couple inches bigger than Raihan’s hand? It’s Rose’s plan B, meant to control the beast if it gets out of hand.
Raihan starts his explanation calmly, but as he goes into detail, a touch of hysteria enters his voice.
“All this… It’s scary, right? This thing is so powerful and we’re depending on a piece of metal to control it. Literally nobody else seems to have a problem with it. That’s weird, isn’t it? Or is it weird that I’m terrified?”
“Not weird at all, mate. I’ll admit it’s giving me the creeps, too,” he says. But his eyes are drawn to that blinking piece of metal on the table.
The control switch. Something that would reverse the power of the wishing stars and calm the monster down.
It’s not that he thinks his little sister can’t beat Leon legitimately. She definitely can. But he taught her to use dark-types, and dark-types don’t play fair if they can help it.
When Raihan’s back is turned, Piers snatches up the switch and slides it in his sleeve. It fits comfortably between his wrist and elbow. If he curls his fingers just so, he can hold it in place without being obvious.
Sorry, Leon, he thinks. It’s nothing personal.
Thief is a dark-type move, too.
*
Piers meets Leon’s brother soon after. The kid is bright, and he definitely has talent of his own. He does tend to overthink things, but Piers has seen worse flaws. The Yell grunts say that this kid made Marnie smile within five minutes of meeting her. Anyone who can do that has earned some respect in Spikemuth.
“Good job, kid. You’ve got style.”
Hop beams. “Thanks! See you later!”
Leon’s other endorsee? Well, she exists. She arrives, she wins, she leaves. Real quiet, that one.
He doesn’t see them again until the night of the semifinals, when Marnie comes to him in her version of a panic. Her friends (friends!) Gloria and Hop were waiting for Leon to meet with them, but he never showed. They’re worried. Marnie’s worried. Piers is not. He suspects he knows where Leon is, and why.
(Rose loves his speeches.)
He sends the kids on a fool’s errand with the excuse of distracting the Macro Cosmos trainers. While they’re gone, he heads up the tower himself. All it takes is a few psychic commands from Malamar to get a lift key and remove distractions.
On the top floor, Piers makes his presence known. “Hey.”
That gets Rose to shut up. Hard to monologue when there are witnesses, hm?
“Yer brother’s waitin’ for ya. You’d better go get him that dinner you promised.” He gives Rose a steady glare. “Unless I’m interruptin’ somethin’?”
The chairman smiles. “It’s alright. Leon, think about what I said.”
For most of the elevator ride down, Leon is quiet. Then he says, “Thanks for rescuing me. You’re a good friend, Piers.”
“Don’t say that. I’ve got a reputation t’ uphold.”
*
As expected, Rose’s plan goes horribly wrong. The safeguards fail; Leon is called to Hammerlocke; all of Galar gets to see just what kind of men their chairman and champion are.
Marnie’s friends try to leave the stadium. Hop is determined to help Lee, apparently, even though Leon is the unbeatable champion and Hop has nowhere near the experience or raw strength his brother does.
Piers knows he’s a bastard, but he isn’t going to let Marnie’s friends get themselves killed on a hopeless mission.
“You can’t just run off to Leon an’ leave me all alone. I’m bored. Do me a favor an’ keep me company here, yeah?”
“No!” Hop cries. “Lee needs us! We won’t let you stand in our way!”
It’s heartwarming that Hop wants to rescue his brother. Piers is sympathetic, even.
But he will not allow these kids to interfere.
“Then I think I’ll invite Team Yell along, and we'll have ourselves a bit of fun, shall we?”

Raihan, hm? How about a Drabble of Raihan and a crush that has an altaria that mega evolves??? And he's like, j e a l o u s
Yesss FINALLY my time to write for raihan has come!! Also, to be honest, I haven’t finished any of the games or watched the show that actually HAS mega evolution in it (YET) so I did a teensy bit of research and hopefully I’m getting all this right lmao
(also I just wanna say that this was the perfect request UwU so thank you! Specific enough that I had something to go off of, but it left plenty of room for creativity, it was so fun to write!)
???? And I can’t remember if the actual battle against Raihan is in the Vault?? Or just the gym mission thingy? Forgive me
Mega Crush, Raihan x Reader
Raihan was confused from the moment you set foot into his gym. Well, long before that actually. There had been talk amongst all the gym leaders that there was a particularly strong challenger battling their way through the league. Milo had confirmed this, adding in the details that you were from a far away region and you were older than the typical preteen gym challengers. Nessa learned that you didn’t Dynamax your pokemon, which Piers was over the moon about, he couldn’t wait for your battle. And Kabu had told Raihan about your beautiful, strong Altaria.
As soon as he heard that, Raihan was weak in the knees. He could not WAIT to battle you. He had never seen an Altaria in person. So soon after your victory against Kabu, Raihan spent his free time loitering around Hammerlocke, hoping to find you as you passed through on your way to Stow-On-Side. Just to his luck, he did just that. He had watched recordings of your battles with the previous gym leaders after they told him about your Altaria. And he had watched you blow through the battles with ease. You didn’t even need to use your dragon type pokemon in the first two battles. Through this, Raihan was able to recognize you as you cleared the long staircase leading into his city. He followed after you, conveniently ‘bumping into you’ as you were headed into the pokemon center.
“Hey, you’re Y/N?, right?” the gym leader asked, grabbing your attention from the mid-day bustle of the city.
“Hm?” You turned to look at who had called your name. It couldn’t possibly have been Raihan. You weren’t from Galar, so you didn’t know him as well as the other gym challengers, but you could definitely put name to face, and you knew the status and fame he held in the region.
“I’m Raihan!” He greeted, sticking out his hand for you to shake and flashing you an award winning smile.
“Uh, yeah. I know. I’m surprised you know who I am?” You said curiously. He had to admit, Raihan’s heart sank a little when he found out you knew who he was. He was hoping he could just meet someone who would get to know him as Raihan, not The Great Raihan, or Gym Leader Raihan, or Dragon Tamer Raihan. Don’t be mistaken, Raihan loved the fame, and adored his fan base, but it’d be nice for someone, especially if they were as cute as you, to have no previous opinion of him.
“I saw your match with Kabu! That Altaria is sick!” Raihan’s heart skipped a beat as he saw your face light up. “You know, all the gym leaders are saying you’re the trainer to watch out for. Might even light a fire up under Leon one of these days.”
“Oh, for real? Well, I’m flattered then,” you could feel your face flushing red. “I gotta get some of my pokemon into the center, though. You coming?”
“Oh, yeah, that’s where I was headed. The whole reason I ran into you,” Raihan laughed, nervously, it starting to dawn on him that this whole situation might come off as slightly… creepy. He was just doing his duty as a gym leader right? Keeping up with all the strong challengers who have a chance at the championship. You walked up to the counter, handing over your pokeballs to Nurse Joy for treatment.
“Can I buy you something to drink while we’re here?” Raihan asked you, following you over to a small table and set of chairs. “Maybe some fresh water or lemonade? I take it you just got in from training hard in the Wild Area?”
“You don’t have to do that. But yeah, it’s a good place to train up! There’s nothing like it back home. Weren’t you here to heal your pokemon too?”
“Oh! You’re right. I’ll just go, uh, do that then.” That was a big, fat lie. Raihan’s pokemon were perfectly fine and he knew it. In fact he had only left the house with his Duraludon. But Raihan was in too deep now. So he awkwardly shuffled over to the counter, greeting Nurse Joy and handing over his sole pokeball.
He stopped by the cafe to get two lemonades before plopping down opposite of you. Within seconds, Nurse Joy came back over with a tray, delivering your healed pokemon to you. She handed Raihan his one pokeball, a confused look on her face.
“Raihan, your Duraludon was just fine, there was no need for it to be healed.”
His face turned red, he looked over at you, a questioning look on your face along with a slight smirk. “Oh, uh, really?” He chuckled. “My mistake!” He gave Nurse Joy an innocent smile, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. When Nurse Joy left, he turned back to you.
“What’s that all about? Everything okay, Raihan?” You sipped your lemonade, watching him from over the top of your glass.
“Yeah, it’s nothing. I’m just really looking forward to our battle!” Except nothing was okay. Raihan had just made a complete and utter fool out of himself, and the way you said his name might just send him into cardiac arrest. He wished Nurse Joy would have just played along.
“Oh.” It seems like he took you by surprise. “I’m looking forward to it too. I’m sure you’ll be quite the match.”
“I’m sure I will be, princess,” Raihan smirked, his confidence slowly coming back.
The next time you saw Raihan it was at Stow-On-Side Gym. You weren’t even sure it was him. You caught one quick glimpse of a very, very tall man in the commentator’s booth during your battle. Of course, you were secretly hoping it was him, coming to watch your battles. But your logical side knew he was busy, and besides, would he really be that interested anyway?
You flew through the Stow-On-Side Gym with ease, passed Opal’s tests with flying colors, Circhester started to slow you down a bit, until finally you reached Spikemuth. You had heard Piers didn’t Dynamax his pokemon. You were a bit disappointed, actually. You respected his traditional ways, of course, but you were hoping for an opponent whose strength called for the trick you had been hiding in your sleeve all this time. Your Altaria’s Mega Evolution.
You were confident you saw Raihan’s signature hoodie and bright orange headband sticking out of the crowd in Spikemuth like a sore thumb. Was he really coming to watch you battle?
So when you found yourself walking into the Hammerlocke City Gym, Raihan was eager to get to know more about you. What better way to do that than through the long anticipated battle? The media had picked up on you too, anxiously awaiting for the day you faced off against Raihan. As one of the few remaining challengers, you’d be surprised if all of Galar wasn’t familiar with your name by now.
Raihan’s team was no laughing matter. He had managed to get you down to only one pokemon, your Altaria. But luckily you had done the same and you were facing off against his Duraludon. The gym leader certainly knew how to manipulate the weather, and his unique double battle style had helped him gain the advantage.
You smirked, knowing you had finally found what you wanted. Mega Evolving your Altaria took a lot of effort, and wore it out, just like Dynamaxing, so you saved it for when it really counted. You had seen Raihan eyeing the Mega Bracelet that hung on your wrist, and you wondered if he recognized it. He had to, right? He was a gym leader after all, but then again the entire Galar region was hyper fixated on the Dynamax phenomenon.
You watched as Raihan called his Duraludon back, preparing to Gigantamax it. You knew this would be a tough match up. Your Altaria transforms into a dragon and fairy type during mega evolution, so Raihan’s dragon type moves would do nothing. Mega Altaria would be weak to steel type moves, however. You had spent extra time training your Altaria’s speed. You knew that in order to win this match, you’d have to be able to dodge some powerful blows.
Raihan had never been this exhilarated in his life. Pokemon battles were when he really came to life. He loved the atmosphere in the stadium, the thousands of fans yelling his name, the raw energy pouring from his Gigantamaxed Duraludon. He was so curious to see how this would play out. He had gone to watch every one of your matches after he met you, and you had yet to dynamax your altaria, or any of your pokemon for that matter. At the beginning of the match he saw something glint on your wrist. Not a dynamax band, definitely not, could it be a Mega Bracelet? Soon all his questions would be answered.
“Ready, princess?” he asked, just loud enough for you alone to hear over the stadium, a wild smile on his face as his Gigantamaxed Duraludon loomed behind him, dwarfing your Altaria.
The entire stadium fell silent as you Mega Evolved your Altaria. This was a very, very rare occurrence in the Galar region. Most of the spectators were witnessing this for the first time. Raihan was among them.
The color drained from his face. A MEGA ALTARIA? He knew your Altaria’s flying type moves would barely harm his Duraludon, but this was something very unexpected. He had learned somewhere that some pokemon switch types when they Mega Evolve. What type your Altaria switched to was a mystery.
Raihan quickly gained his composure, even though his heart was beating a million times a minute. You were ogling at the crowd, flattered by their insane interest in your pokemon, and Mega Altaria seemed to be enjoying it too. Your opponent took this chance to fire off his first shot, Max Wyrmwind, a dragon type move. He stood there stunned as Altaria remained unaffected.
Unfortunately, neither dragon nor fairy moves would work great against Duraludon’s steel and dragon type, but you did your research. You had been helping your Altaria perfect it’s Fire Blast over the last week. You were surprised to learn that Altaria could learn the fire type move when you found the TM in a dusty old shop in Motostoke, but glad it could come in handy. Steel types were hard to beat.
Mega Altaria immediately retaliated with Fire Blast, and you could tell how effective it was against Duraludon. Raihan looked even more shocked as he gritted his teeth, dug in his heels, and told Duraludon to use Max Steelspike. Your Altaria just barely missed the hit, moving out of range before you even began to shout.
“Great dodge! You can do this!” You cheered on your Altaria. It seemed like it was your lucky day, because one more powerful Fire Blast fainted Duraludon, sending it shrinking down to normal size, and back into Raihan’s pokeball.
You met the gym leader in the middle of the pitch where he gave you a hearty handshake. “Well met, Y/N! What a stunning battle. It seems I might have gotten a bit too cocky with my team, huh? And who knew, that was Mega Evolution, wasn’t it?”
“It was! You definitely presented quite the challenge, I just had to do some special training before I came.”
“Well, congratulations, princess. You beat the Great Raihan,” He handed you the Dragon Badge, a huge smirk on his face. “You get the honor of going through the Finals now! I’ll be looking forward to our next battle, facing off for the chance to take down Leon. Though I s’pose I’ll have to find a way to beat that Altaria, huh?” You thanked Raihan before being ushered off the pitch, a few reporters waiting to greet you and ask about the battle.
After all the chaos subsided, you were surprised to see Raihan jogging over to you as you left the gym. “I thought you might want this,” Raihan gave you the dragon type TM, as well as the dragon type gym uniform. “I just wanted to say, that Mega Altaria is super cool! Way cooler than I wanted to admit out on the pitch,” He chuckled, nervously.
“What, is the Great Raihan scared of looking like a total nerd in front of his fans?” you teased.
“Oh, shut up. It just wasn’t a good time. Besides, I’m getting to talk to you again now, aren’t I? How about I take you out to dinner to celebrate your victory?” Raihan winked, taking your hand to lead you to his favorite restaurant.

Piers and Marnie Headcanon Nonsense Part 2 of who knows when I’ll stop this insanity? :B
Might as well throw this out there. Y’all can find part one over here.
-Piers and Marnie watch Saturday morning cartoons together. It’s a tradition that Piers started as soon as Marnie was old enough to appreciate them, and it has continued ever since. Do not try to interrupt them, or you may end up wearing their cereal. Even if it’s the middle of the Gym Challenge, you’ll have to wait until after noon on a Saturday to challenge. There is no debating this.
-Piers’ and Marnie’s Scrafty are actually brother and sister, just like their trainers. When Piers first started his Gym Challenge, a couple Team Yell members gifted him an egg bred from their own Pokémon, and they did the same for Marnie when she started hers. Both Scrafty tend to sleep in a lump together and generally get on with each other much the same as their trainers do. It’s adorable.
-The first song Piers ever wrote was a lullaby for his new baby sister. He still sings it to Marnie to this day. He’s never released it publicly, it’s only for Marnie. Besides his parents and sister, the only ones who’ve ever heard it are their Pokémon and a few trusted members of Team Yell.
-Every year after the Gym Challenge is over, there will be a tournament between the Gym Leaders to decide what order the challenge will go in the next year. Usually it doesn’t change much, if at all, but when new Gym Leaders are introduced, it’s necessary to figure out how they fit into the hierarchy. When Piers first took over the Spikemuth gym, he ended up getting so anxious during this tournament that his Meowth had to pop out of her ball to calm him down and he ended up disqualified for having too many Pokémon on the pitch. Because of that, Spikemuth ended up being the first gym in the challenge the next year. After he totally ended the first few challengers, Piers realized he was going to have to battle below his ability to allow anyone to continue the challenge past his gym. The next year’s tournament went much better, and Spikemuth has been the seventh gym ever since.
-Piers didn’t always wear eye shadow. He started wearing it to make the bags around his eyes from lack of sleep and stress less noticeable.
-Piers has a severe case of untreated PTSD. He has a prescription for Ativan for the anxiety attacks (which he had from before, anyway), but that’s about it. Marnie also has PTSD, but she’s had treatment for hers. Piers couldn’t afford therapy for both himself and his sister, so he made sure she was treated and went without.
-At 16, Piers hit an extremely rough patch, getting addicted to painkillers and alcohol. Marnie noticed the change in his demeanour, but she was 6 and didn’t really know what was wrong or how to help. The other gym leaders noticed that he seemed more strung out than usual, but just assumed it was stress. Eventually Kabu caught him sneaking alcohol at an event while still underage and confronted him about it. Piers didn’t want to admit he had a problem, but Kabu eventually got through to him by reminding him that he could lose Marnie if he kept on like that.
-After that, Kabu helped Piers get cleaned up, while also keeping the situation under wraps, so the boy wouldn’t get in trouble. Despite how it may look, Piers has a great deal of respect for the older man.
-Marnie is the reason why Piers’ rare league card is a reprint of the one from his Gym Challenge. It took a lot of convincing, but she was the one who talked him into it. (She didn’t tell Piers specifically that she thinks it’s adorable and that everyone should see it, but that was her main reason for wanting him to use it.)
-Piers first met Raihan when he was around seven years old. He'd gone to Hammerlocke to buy Dusk Balls, and ran into Raihan in the Pokémon Centre. Raihan took an immediate interest in Piers and wouldn't leave him alone. At first, Piers found it obnoxious, but eventually he warmed up to him and the two became best friends. They met Leon for the first time not long afterwards, finding him lost and crying in Hammerlocke and subsequently helped him locate his family. The three have been friends ever since.
-Piers, Raihan, Sonia and Leon were all in the same year’s Gym Challenge. Piers and Raihan tended to travel and train together. Sonia and Leon tended to travel on their own, but Leon would occasionally meet up with Piers and Raihan to hang out or train. The three remained friends after the Challenge was over, but Piers withdrew from them after the incident when he was 15. He’s been avoiding one on one contact with both of them ever since.
-Raihan has a bizarre Instagram stalker. Someone with the username SparkleButt2000 likes every single post he makes, but never comments and won’t reply to DMs. No one else who follows Raihan acts like this and it drives him nuts not being able to talk to them. It’s Piers. He feels guilty for avoiding his best friend for so long, but he’s too anxious to actually, finally talk to him one on one, so he does this instead to make himself feel a little better.
-The first (and last) piercing Piers ever got was a tongue piercing. It did not go well, to say the least. Due to his anxiety, he can’t bring himself to try again, which is why he doesn’t have any piercings now, despite being heavily into the Galarian punk rock scene. While he’s terrified the same thing might happen to Marnie that happened to him, he won’t stop her if she ever wants to do more than just her ears in the future.

PostwickShip Fic Ideas
So I beat the main game of Pokémon Sword this past weekend, and I have been COMPLETELY obsessed with this adorable ship — to the point where I have been writing down all these ideas for a fic for it, and I just really needed to put the words to paper (or google doc, I guess) and share them! @kuumamochi - here ya go!
So quick note, I changed their ages so she, Hop, Bede, and Marnie are all around 16 instead of 10-12, and I actually made an OC for this to use instead of the base Gloria/Yuuri, so first some little details about her!
OC: Elizabeth
Tumblr media
Called: Lizzie
Age: 16 (birthday - Spring)
Hair: long, caramel blonde; usually tied back into to twin braids with side-swept bangs
Eyes: large, round, icy blue eyes (get darker closer to the center)
Height: 4′11″
Weight: 115 lbs
Starter: Sobble  (nicknamed “Darcy”, like from Pride and Prejudice)
Likes: strawberries, hydrangeas, warm blankets, and a good book
Dislikes: meat (she’s vegetarian), scary stories, snow, and sports
Favorite Pokemon Types: Fairy and Grass
Typical Outfit/Style: knit beret, striped shirt, short skirt, hoodie, thigh-high socks, and ankle boots
Personality: shy, a bit oversensitive as a child, easily upset by harsh words or by bullies, slowly grows out of it and comes out of her shell as she grows up with  Hop; always felt like a “damsel in distress” when Hop would stand up to bullies for her, and wants to be the one to stand up for him for once; always thinks before opening her mouth, sometimes for too long and misses her chance to speak in a conversation
Family:
Mom: Sara
energetic, but soft-spoken; worked as a journalist in Hammerlocke for years before meeting Lizzie’s father, and moving to Postwick to become a mother and an online journalist
brown hair, blue eyes, 5′0″
Pokemon: Budew, Munchlax
Dad: Dimitri (deceased)
shy, very calm; prefered books to people in most cases; was working as a low-ranking police officer (alongside many cousins named Jenny) in Hammerlocke when he met Sara; later moved with her to Postwick and became a small-town detective
Died of illness when Lizzie was 7
blond hair, purple eyes, 6′0″
Pokemon: Pikachu “Zeus”
Aunt: Carol
Her late dad’s older sister
Lives in Ballonlea, working as a teacher
blonde hair, purple eyes, 5′4″
Pokemon: Cutiefly “Zipper”, Ponyta “Magi”, and Clefairy “Momo”
Grandpa: Phillip
Her mom’s dad
Former Dark-Type gym leader before Piers (his eldest grandchild)
Currently retired and living in Spikemuth
Pokemon: Obstagoon, Thievul, Grimmsnarl, Phantump, Skuntank
Cousins: Marnie and Piers
Their mother is Lizzie’s mom’s younger sister
She was also the Dark-Type gym leader for several years until Piers took over
History with Hop:
Grew up with Hop for as long as either can remember
It was always the two of them against the world
Hop protected her from bullies
Lizzie patched him up when things got “too real”
Always figured they’d be together forever, no matter what
Leon gave Hop his first Pokemon (Wooloo) right before he left on his Pokemon journey
Lizzie was a little jealous and wanted one too
Leon said he could catch her one, but then Hop one-upped him and said he’d find her a shiny Wooloo instead
Lizzie agreed to let Hop find one, and hasn’t tried to catch one until he finds her a shiny Wooloo
It’s been six years since this, and he’s still looking
Lizzie realized she had a crush on Hop when he came over to cheer her up after being stood up for a date at age 13
They watched Pokemon league matches while eating ice cream until they finally passed out on the floor at about 3am
Hop turned 16 first, and should have been the first to go on his Pokemon journey, but insisted on staying another six months until Lizzie’s birthday so that they could go on their journey together
Hop realizes he might have a crush on her right before they start their journey, when they both reach for the Wishing Stones
He sees her eyes light up in the stones’ glow, and gets the “oh no, emotions” feeling in his gut
Their Journey Begins:
Lizzie gets her Sobble because it reminds her of her childhood self
She wants to be for Sobble what Hop was for her
She names him Darcy, after the character in her favorite book
Hop is only a little jealous she named her first Pokemon after the love interest to the character that shares her name (No, Liz, I didn’t read it, you just talk about it all the time and I can’t escape it!)
In the Slumbering Weald, they get separated in the fog, and have to try and find each other as well as the lost Wooloo
They don’t see the sword or shield Pokemon until they find each other again, holding hands to not get lost again
They’re still holding hands when they wake up after passing out in the fog
Lizzie’s second Pokemon and Hop’s third Pokemon are a pair of Rookidee, who they help out and that choose to stay with them
The two bird Pokemon bicker like an old married couple half the  time they’re together, but cuddle and coo at each other and hate to be apart for too long
Hop, oblivious: “Look, they’re just like us! Best friends who can’t be kept apart!”
Lizzie: *facepalm*
They travel together all the way to Motosoke, camping together in the Wild Area
Lizzie teaches Hop how to cook, so as not to starve or poison any of his Pokemon or himself
His Pokemon are forever grateful
After opening ceremonies, they take on different gyms
Lizzie starts with Milo’s, while Hop takes on Nessa’s first, then they switch and meet back up in Motosoke for Kabu’s badge challenge
This starts as the longest either of them have ever been apart, and they’re both nervous while putting on a brave front
Just about every battle they’ve ever had has either ended in a draw, or been cut off by something
They don’t find out who is the “stronger trainer” of the two until the Semi-Finals
***
I think I’m gonna stop here for now, let me know if anyone wants to see more! I’ll post a link if I end up writing a whole drawn-out fic for this concept!
Note: please ignore any spelling/grammar errors, I used my computer to type these and it’s kind of shit.

Meet my two pokemon swsh inserts! Rory and Micah! small biographies under the cut! (some repeating stuff i had for Rory earlier)
The indicators on the team lists: + = female || - = male
Rory x Raihan - Lost in the sandstorm
Micah x Leon - Dynamaxed hearts
Rory: Born in Galar living in Spikemuth for most of his life, he’s like a cryptic poketrainer, living hidden away somewhere in the alleys. Not too many people know about him or his past, except for some of spikemuth. He can sometimes be seen out in the day but regardless is little bit of a nobody till he ends up one day befriending Raihan, eventually gaining feelings for the dragon trainer.
He’s best friends with Piers and Marnie, considering them family, his only other friends he ends up slowly gaining and befriending through Raihan
Likes to head out during the night, especially when exploring the wild area
Can get loud without realizing it, guess just a bad habit when you live in the same place as “Team yell”
Doesn’t have any social media until after he meets Raihan and gets persuaded to make an account
A surprisingly good cook
despite having a mix team of types and seeming like he’d be a dark type trainer, he has a strong connection with ghost types, most of his back up stocked Pokemon are ghost types
Micah: Moved to the Galar region at age 9 and getting to know some of the now gym leaders of Galar back when he was younger, he didn’t get his first Pokemon right away once he was 10, slightly making him an outcast, he eventually persuaded his mother to let him have one Pokemon and he picked a Scorbunny that he named Hiro! he did accidentally get another Pokemon which was Eevee who he named Nico later on, which he kept hidden for awhile until he was 17 and was actually allowed to get more Pokemon. Now with a few years experience under his belt he decided to take on the gyms and face against the champion. that he may have gotten feelings for before, during and after his journey and becoming the new champion
during his younger years he would sneak out at night just to explore and do some Pokemon battles out in the wild
He moved to the town Postwick and so got to see Leon a lot, even meeting hop too when he was a toddler
Soft and cheery, fits his whole pastel look
His team may look all cute but he can kick some ass, with his main Pokemon Hiro, he can practically one hit some Pokemon when lucky!
he also has some stocked pokemon on the sides if needed

Drabble Prompt: First time of acceptance.
Some gym leaders don't hunt down their endorsements, and realistically not every potential challenger can track one down. Trainers can also submit a profile of sorts through the League for remaining endorsements. That's where Opal typically finds herself, sitting at a conference table in Wyndon, looking over a spread of printed profiles. It's not every year they get challengers from Ballonlea, and Opal is simply too old to be running around Galar trying to scout them out like she used to.
"Hmm," Rose hums idly as he flips through a stack. They each have to endorse two challengers, and Opal knows he's already put his name behind the girl he really wants, so he's flipping through the rest of the stacks with feigned interest. Bah. Opal resists shaking her head, or tsking openly at him. One must throw out all preconceived notions at an audition - you should judge on what you actually see, not what you think you see, in the actor. Or trainer. Is there a difference?
A face catches her eye as Rose moves another sheet to the reject stack, but it slides off toward her instead. She picks it up.
"I've seen this one before." She hums, as Rose turns to look at her. He points with his pen to a line.
"His third time entering the Challenge." He says with a tap, like it explains everything. "Not a great battle track record, either. More recorded losses than wins in the minor league."
"Perfect! Everyone loves an underdog." She says with enthusiasm, making a hand motion for his pen. He raises an eyebrow at her, but hands its over while Oleana, his dutiful guard dog, slides her a blank endorsement sheet. She signs with a flourish.
"The cold, walled off expression, punctured by the determined fire deep within - very pink!" She says happily. Rose and Oleana share a look, and she folds up the endorsement.
"We can deliver that," Oleana says, reaching out, but Opal waves her away.
"No, no! You know I like to add a personal touch to these! I'll have it delivered to the boy. Piers. A strong, memorable name! I like that. He's a little too magenta, but I think he'll go far."
She leaves the meeting, leaving Rose just as perplexed as always about her. Good, she likes to keep him on his toes.
-
A letter arrives to a small, bordering on dilapidated apartment in Spikemuth about a week later, delivered not by the normal Peliper Post, but by an elegant Spritzee. It's sealed with purple wax and some kind of flower seal. Inside is one Letter of Endorsement, and a small piece of pink stationary.
I expect a good show.

Since it's Pride Month, how would the leaders and leon react to a challenger who came out as transgender and transitioned mid gym challenge but transphobic people keep misgendering them on purpose.
Everyone would be super defensive.
Milo goes out of his way to use the correct pronoun and the correct name (if they changed their name) as often as possible. He also makes a lot of passive aggressive comments about the people who are being transphobic (they haven’t transitioned yet, but they’ve been talking about it). Which is a lot for someone like Milo.
Nessa just outright on the field hears about the transphobia and is just like “what a bunch of bitches.” She makes sure to make posts on social media in support throughout their gym challenge.
Kabu is probably the most defensive of them. He nearly gets into a fistfight when someone says something nasty about the challenger. They’ve started transitioning now, and Kabu supports them wholeheartedly. He defends them through their gym challenge.
Bea actually does get in a fistfight. Someone tried following the challenger into the gym and she put them in the dirt real quick. No bullshit in this gym, no sir. She definitely walks them to Ballonlea to make sure no one gets close.
Allister is not a fighter, at least, not past pokemon battles. But he’d definitely use his pokemon to attack someone for being transphobic. He’s young, but he was raised to treat everyone equally no matter what. No hate in this gym. Ever.
Opal sicks all of her pokemon and gym trainers on anyone who even breathes in the wrong direction at this kid. They’ve been through enough. Even without the publicity of it all, it’s hard. She gets it. She’s not going to let them be treated poorly anywhere near Ballonlea.
Gordie is very supportive. He doesn’t really attack the transphobia as much as he does block it away from the challenger. He sticks close to make sure they’re not being attacked. He leaves the literal murder to the rest of the gym leaders. He just wants to protect the poor challenger.
Melony is sweet and supportive. Until she sees someone being transphobic. Then it’s hands on sight. They’re out cold in the snow before they even know what hit them. I’d feel bad but they’re transphobic, so... They never really stood a chance against her.
Piers has been watching all of this go down the whole time. He’s ready for it. He as Team Yell gathered at the mouth of Spikemuth ready to escort the challenger and keep everyone else out. Woops, one got past? Beaten by Piers’ very own mic stand. He does not care. He also offers some good advice for the challenger.
Raihan straight up just has them arrested. It’s a feat in and of itself to make it this far with how angry the gym leaders have been (oh, and any transphobic challengers got kicked out very early in the challenge). He has them all hauled off for hate crimes and harrassment because they literally followed this poor kid across the region. He also has some good advice for them.
Leon is super happy to meet them, and he knows about all the transphobia. He makes a public champion announcement. “Anyone who is transphobic can go ahead and leave the region because I cannot and will not support you with anything.” Then he gives the challenger some advice and money for equipment to safely transition.
The entire fucking league said “respect trans people for die by my sword.”
Happy Pride Month, by the way. Hope everyone is doing alright.
