What are the Galarian Gym Leaders' and Champion Leon's favorite flavors of ice cream?
I made a post a long time ago about a café that serves gym leader themed ice creams, but I don't want to go look for it. Apologies if this is just like that one.
Milo likes plain strawberry ice cream. He prefers fruit flavors over overly sugary ones.
Nessa likes sea salt caramel over java chip ice cream. Her favorite flavor in the world for anything is salted caramel.
Kabu likes green tea ice cream. Reminds him of home.
Bea doesn't like sweet things very much so she doesn't eat ice cream. If she's forced to pick, she'll go with plain vanilla. Sprinkles if she's feeling a little wild.
Allister loves blackberry flavoring. So naturally, blackberry ice cream is his favorite, but don't forget the chocolate syrup and sprinkles.
Opal likes cotton candy ice cream. The colors match her style and it's just plain tasty. She was amazed when it first came out as a flavor.
Melony likes all ice cream, it's her favorite dessert. If she had to pick a favorite, she'd go with mint chip.
Gordie likes rocky road! Right, guys, get it? Do you get it guys?! Guys? Where are you going? Hey!
Piers likes cookies and cream ice cream. Or cookie dough. Put cookies in ice cream, he's happy.
Raihan doesn't really have a favorite ice cream, but if it's an option, he'll always go for something wild and new. He likes trying new things the most.
Leon doesn't eat ice cream very often, but he does like anything with caramel on it.

I don't know why, but it's funny for me to think of leaders reacting when an emergency happens and Leon takes Hop to work. We can hear some thinking "oh no, now there are two of them"
Most of the leaders have met Hop prior to an emergency needing Leon to bring him to work. They also know that Hop is a very well behaved boy. However, they are dead set on convincing the gym leaders that haven't met Hop that he is exactly like Leon and they should be afraid. This ruse lasts for maybe 3 minutes before Hop is tugging on Melony's sleeve and asking for some juice with a tiny little voice. He even used "please" and "thank you."

Hey I'm new
Got an idea for a superhero/magical girl esque au if you wanna hear more owo.
Pokemon are rare magical creatures that humans can sometimes attract and bond with to receive special powers, up to a maximum of 6. Their hero names match the pokemon they gained their powers from. They fight dynamax esque monsters born from macro cosmos's attempts at collecting wishing stars.
That's the general idea. But there's more if you want lol
Welcome, and I'm sure glad you decided to be here, because this is one zinger of an idea.
Pokemon aren't something you could find anywhere. They're around but they're elusive and can't be caught or tamed. They just end up with people. Now do they go to people because of their powers, or do the pokemon bestow the powers?
And that leads to a lot of fascinating avenues, like what Leon's powers would be in regards to his team. Are their powers based on the pokemon specifically or their typing. The typing would make a lot of sense (outside of Leon) because the gym leaders would all have a type power.
And since dark type is the evil type, maybe it's not always superhero? Piers isn't bad though, he'd be more of an anti-hero. Neutral vigilante.
Rose, hero or villain, would be sick af though with steel type powers. And Raihan would be off the charts strong. OOOO this opens up so many ideas I can't even pick one to go down.
I absolutely love superhero au stuff.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION On. allister basically being a ghost possessing his own body. this hc is based off of my own kin memories (*vibes in allister kinnie*) and i think its rly neat and i can give more context if you need but i havent rly told anyone else abt this hc so im curious to hear other peopless thoughts on it
Oooooo, this is a bit spooky. I like it. I'm gonna take it my direction but if you want to add more to it just let me know.
So think of Allister's ghost/spirit and Allister's body as 2 different layers that are supposed to line up perfectly. After the accident where he lost his parents, Allister's spirit layer shifted out of place ever so slightly. Not enough to kill him or cause anything particularly weird, but enough that he can feel it. Like he's always standing 2 inches to the right of where he should be. And it's this little bit of him that's hanging off the edge that makes ghost types go "he's one of us".
There's not really much Allister can do to change or fix this, and really in the end it's not significant to anyone but himself and his ghosts. Sometimes he can see ghosts that don't always look like pokemon, though....

Does any of the gym leaders have pokemon that they don't train but keep them as pets?
Absolutely they do.
Milo keeps his farm pokemon of course. Wooloo, Miltank (are those even in SWSH? idk they're all I can think of), etc. Not exactly pets but they're not battle mons either.
Nessa has a Vaporeon named Moana. The other gym leaders have eeveelutions as well, you just have to find the right tags. I'd start with searching for Moana the Vaporeon (they're all named after princesses).
Kabu has all the spare pokemon for his gym challenge. They're technically not pets either but he does take care of them during the off season. Also he has Pheobe the Flareon.
Bea doesn't keep any pokemon that she doesn't use for training.
Allister doesn't have any specific pokemon, but ghost types tend to drift around him for a bit, get pet and fed, then move on. And of course, all his friends at the cemetary.
Opal considers every shadow and shape in the forest to be her companion. She leaves berries and whipped cream out for them at night.
Melony is the mother of every Snom in Circhester. She knows them all by name and they break into her house.
Gordie has a Snover. He was a gift from Melony before Gordie decided to train Rock types. He can't be used on the team but he still matters a lot to Gordie.
Piers has a Toxtricity or two, some Loudreds to help with concerts and such, and every Zigzagoon or Linoone that may wander the streets of Spikemuth.
Raihan has his hands full with breeding dragons. It's something not many can do, so he's always got baby dragons to take care of.
Leon does not have any extra pokemon for pets. He's busy with his team all the time.

pls pls pls just. as many allister and piers hcs as you have.... i yearn for their friendship or even really just anything about either of them in general but especially when it involves both of them KNSJBBFJS
Your wish is my command, anon.
-To outsiders, Piers may seem loud and bold at all times. The truth is that he speaks quietly outside of performing. Partly because he's shy, and partly because he wants to protect his voice.
-Allister is very sensitive to social situations, especially loud noises. He's overwhelmed easily.
-Piers knows that feeling, and knows when to take Allister somewhere quiet if they're in a social function together. Allister feels like Piers understands this more than others, seeing as all the other gym leaders are more extroverted.
-Allister and Marnie are good friends, so when Allister needs to be watched by someone, Piers is a go-to. It's not often, but Allister likes when this happens.
-The previous Spikemuth gym leader was a lazy guy who was in it for the money. He was an electric type "trainer" who let the town fall into more decay than it already was, but he was a natural talent, so other Spikemuth trainers couldn't overthrow him. Piers has a bond with his pokemon like no other, though, and was strong enough to knock that previous trainer off his pedestal and take his place. Some may criticize that Piers only became a gym leader to have the money to take care of Marnie, but he does truly care about Spikemuth as well and makes actual efforts to improve the town.
-Allister didn't need to overthrow anyone to become a gym leader. He was noticed by the league and added to Stow-on-Side as a secondary gym leader. He's still in training, technically, but he's an absolute prodigy, so he does get days of his own to run the gym.
-Allister, being so young and also a ghost type trainer, faces a lot of harassments from people who think he violates rules or that his pokemon are evil. Piers was also immediately criticized for his type of choice when he joined the league. Piers has learned to ignore the hate and continue to advocate for Dark Type Positivity, and thus, also coaches Allister to do the same.
-Allister lives with Bea. They have adults who come by often and take care of them, but for the most part it's just the two of them. They're not blood related but they do view each other as siblings.
-Piers has given Bea a lot of advice on how to be there for Allister. He did raise Marnie himself, after all.
-Allister is afraid of most of Spikemuth, so whenever he has to visit, Piers meets them at the main entrance and doesn't leave Allister alone unless they're in a safe place.
-Piers is often up late at night because he has a hard time sleeping. Allister is often up late at night because he's wandering through a graveyard or something. It's a good time for Allister to just talk to an adult. Piers has spent many late nights texting Allister life advice and answering difficult questions.
-Allister is NOT afraid of Obstagoon, and very much loves him. Obstagoon is more than happy to play with Allister, or be there with him when Piers can't be.
-Allister's pokemon make Piers nervous, but he does his best not to show it.
-Piers has Allister's favorite candy for him every time they see each other. Allister always has a story to tell. Piers likes to hear Allister's ghost stories, even if he'll spend the night hyperaware of the creaks in his house later.

What superpowers would Hop, Marnie and Bede have if they were the sidekicks, respectively, of Leon, Piers and Opal in the Superhero AU?
Oooo, the kids.
So Leon's ability to slow time is a pretty rare one, and highly sought after, so when Hop started developing his powers, he was CONVINCED that he was going to have the same powers as his big brother. He was pretty disappointed to find that he did... not. His power is the ability to summon and command swarms of pokemon. He needs to know about them, though, so he can't just summon legendaries. He can't fight on his own without them, either, so being trapped in a place pokemon can't get to is a pretty big hinderance. His power is pretty good, but his feelings are overshadowed by his disappointment that he's not like Leon.
Marnie, like I said in the last post, has the same powers as Piers. She was a late bloomer in this regard, though, so she still hasn't developed all of her powers and things may deviate when she gets older. Piers taught himself how to use his powers, and while he's still powerful, he'd benefit from some real training. Marnie? Even worse. Piers tries to teach her but she just can't get a grasp on it yet. It will come with time, they're both sure, but for right now it's pretty inconvenient.
Bede's power is surprisingly relevant to Opal. He has a sort of mind reading ability. He can sense when someone's lying, is able to very adeptly pick out their insecurities and weaknesses. Everyone is an open book to him, other than Rose, who, knowing Bede and his power, has been able to shield himself. As soon as Opal heard of Bede and his ability, she took him in. Bede may not be much for combat, but in terms of interrogation and psychological warfare, he's unstoppable.

which gym leader would like the anime seven deadly sins?
I've never seen that anime, so I don't know. Like I said, I haven't watched many of them, and that one isn't very high on my watch list right now in general. I have a lot of things I want to get through.

If the leaders had an encounter with a Jirachi, what is the one thing they would wish for?
This is really interesting, but I'll try not to be predictable.
Milo would wish for the farm to be prosperous no matter what. That way, he would be able to pass it to his younger brother someday without worry. And he'd be able to focus more on training.
Nessa would wish to be noticed more in her modeling career. She feels helpless sometimes constantly outshining herself by being a gym leader and a model. She wants to be seen for both.
Kabu would wish for some way to redeem himself back in Hoenn. He doesn't necessarily want to leave Galar, but he feels as though he left unresolved problems back in his home regions that he needs to fix.
Bea would wish to be able to be as strong as a Machamp. She wants to physical capability to work up to it, not the strength itself. That kind of strength would mean nothing if it was just given to her.
Allister would wish to undo the accident he lost his parents in, while still retaining his penchant for ghost type pokemon. He likes his life, but misses his parents.
Opal would wish for an heir to replace her in the gym. She would want a child that already is alive to be given the skill and talent she's looking for.
Melony would wish for Gordie to stop fighting with her. She doesn't really care deep down what type he trains, honestly. She just wants her son to understand her and come back home.
Gordie would wish for Melony to understand and accept his choice to train rock type pokemon. He's tired of fighting with her and knows it puts a strain on the people around them, too.
Piers would with for Spikemuth to be saved. Make it larger, wealthier, more jobs, whatever it needs that Piers has been fighting for years to achieve. He would have more time for his passion and wouldn't be passing such a mess off to Marnie.
Raihan would wish for the protection of the Vault in Hammerlocke. He constantly worried about losing all of that valuable knowledge. And no, he wouldn't wish to defeat Leon, he wants to achieve that through hard work. Besides, the Vault is way more important, since it's for everyone, and beating Leon is for himself.
Leon would wish to be under less judgement. He loves being champion but the constant pressure of keeping a reputation and public appearances weighs heavily on him often. It would give him more opportunities to be with Hop, too.

Plot anon here! Just curious again if not asked. What animes would each person enjoy? I remember a while back I think you did cartoons. How ever might be remembering wrong. So whatcha think?
Hey Plot Anon! I did, in fact, answer a cartoon question. I don't watch a lot of animes, but I can try my best here.
Milo doesn't watch many animes, but when he does he prefers slice of life stuff, like Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (very cute show).
Nessa loves sports animes. (I do not watch sports animes so I don't have an example.)
Kabu doesn't watch anime.
Bea hardly ever watches tv but she likes things with a lot of action. Think Fullmetal Alchemist (one of my favs of all time).
Allister likes things that are a bit darker. From what I've seen of Soul Eater I think that might be something he'd like. Even if it isn't exactly age appropriate from what I saw. I could also see him watching Attack on Titan.
Opal doesn't watch anime.
Melony probably doesn't, but she's seen glimpses of what Gordie watches.
Gordie definitely watches really intense action stuff, like Attack on Titan. Anything that has a lot of fighting, really.
Piers watches a lot of different animes probably. I can see him liking old ones like Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Raihan tries to stay away from really intense gore, even though that's difficult with animes. I think he'd like Cells at Work or Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.
Leon definitely likes laid back things. Cells at Work is his favorite no questions asked.
tldr: I don't watch much anime but I love Cells at Work, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and Fullmetal Alchemist. I desperately need to catch up on Attack on Titan.

What do you think about men who treat with respect and admiration plain and nerdy/tomboyish girls but at the same time feel entitled to objectify beautiful and popular girls with the excuses that pretty girls are vapid and shallow, thus unworthy of kindness and respect?
I'm not sure if you actually meant this for me, or if you did, why you ask, but I'll tell you what I think anyway.
It's one thing if guys have a type. They want a romantic partner who shares their interests or has certain traits. That's okay. You want a sporty partner? A nerdy one? Prefer a woman who wears makeup? Sure, fine. But that does not entitle a man to influence a woman to change to appeal to him. There's no perfect partner out there for anyone, and you don't have a right to mold someone into that cast. It's cruel and impossible.
And it's also a thing to recognize a woman as attractive. Or a man, this goes both ways obviously. You are going to have ideals for an attractive partner. People have preferred body types. Again, there is never a perfect Barbie doll woman. And no one's value is based on their appearance.
However, men who objectify women, nerdy tomboys, or otherwise, are disgusting. Hands down. If you look at a woman (or anyone) and see them solely as an item for you to use, you are scum. Plain and simple.
I, personally, have no respect for men who think that makeup changes a woman's value. In any way. If you think that girls should wear more makeup for you or less, you are also scum. Women don't exist to appeal to you. The way a woman dresses, the makeup they wear, the things they like, are not there to appeal to anyone but themselves. This does not change their value. Ever. There are people who are not worthy of kindness and respect, but that is not to be applied to a woman based on the way she looks. If you are this kind of person, I hate you and want nothing more than to knock a couple teeth out.
And another thought, and this may come out of left field, is that sex workers deserve respect and it is a respectable job. I respect them more than I do landlords.

Kabu and Piers are having an exhibition match when Arcanine realizes Obstagoon can pet him! he can!! he can give the pats!!! Naturally the ensuing hilarity goes viral on social media. Ninetales will never let him live it down.
This is something Piers has a nightmare about. Obstagoon realizes he can use his thumbs more than he knows.
If this happened, the match would just be over honestly, they both lost that day. Piers goes into hiding for a day or so. Kabu considers exiling himself. It's truly a humiliating display of a lack of discipline on both of their accounts.
Luckily, everyone's too busy laughing about how silly it looks that they don't even consider their trainers' deep shame.
