They're both eighteen and together they scrap enough for a vacation because Nick started working in the local market their last year of high school and Carole helps her rich neighbour kids with homework every week and they pay her in green and white papers every time. She makes 15 dollars a week and put them away because the end of school is near and she want to go away with Nick so so bad.

They're in Carole's house, a brochure with all the places they could go on the right side of the table and a letter from the Navy on the left when Nick gets down on his knee, Nicholas Bradshaw my patents are in the other room what are you thinking to do?!, and he's laughing a little now, hands shacking a little while he reaches for something in his pocket.

Carole you forever will be the love of my life, in this and another ten lives and the content of that letter could change everything or not but I'd like to take you on vacation as my wife. Would you marry me? Carole is crying by the end of the speech because the ring is small but so beautiful and shiny and she would be lying if she said she never though about being Carole Bradshaw but this? This is even better. She is kissing him before giving him an answer but how could she even think of saying no to this man?

(They marry in a little chapel on the sea, the two of them, a priest and their best friends. Carole's wedding dress isn't really a wedding dress but she loves it so much because they brought it together, with the money left from their reservations and a little help from their friends. It's not much, Nick says during his vowes, but the moment we're going to have real money I'm going to give you the wedding of your dreams. And oh, Carole has thought kissing him after the minister announced them as husband and wife, until you're by my side even eating in a diner is going to be like in my dreams.)

Who appears most in Bram Topker's Dracula?

Remember I didn't count the pages, it's just how many pages the percentage corresponds to. So how many pages on average their panels would add up to. Not how many pages they appear on.

And also, I should mention this, there are obviously spoilers for it. Although it might be hard to spoil Dracula...

Pete - 26 (panels) / 5.57 (pages) / 7.74% (of the story)

Just like with some other stories, this story was originally split it in to two parts, but I split each part in to two as well since I was curious as to who would appear how much in each part!

Egmont credits this one as being a Mickey led story, but I don't think this story has a single lead.

But before I get in to all that let's look at the entry and exit times!

Mickey - 1 (0.30%) / 332 (98.81%)

Minnie - 31 (9.23%) / 332 (98.81%)

Clarabelle - 31 (9.23%) / 336 (100%)

Here we have yet another story where Goofy plays a central role, but doesn't appear until around 30% throught the story.

And whilst I think Goofy plays a central role in this one, I don't know if it's as central as the first Captain Nemo story. Probably closer to the second Nemo story.

I don't think you can put this as a one-lead story, and if you were to do that I don't think I'd put Mickey. As he is the only character that sort of disappears from the story. Minnie does kind of as well, but a lot less than Mickey. And Goofy of course doesn't appear until the second act.

I think I would credit this as a story led by Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. But let me try to rank them by how much of a lead I think they are, as I usually do.

I will not lie, I normally get a box of 18 tampons in town. so 18 X 3 = 54 but they are around 7 to 9 dollars (they jack up the price for tourists) which is 21 dollars or 27 dollars for three boxes. In the original article the link to 7news Miami WSVN website shows a video of clips of Tom on the Miami festival red carpet. Apparatus Evolution:  Floor Springs and Why You Should Look at Old Time Gymnastics Differently

One of the things people talk a lot about when they compare modern gymnasts to their sisters from the past is how much the sport has progressed in terms of tumbling difficulty.  And yes, the things being done by the likes of Simone Biles, Jade Carey, or Rebeca Andrade are mind blowing.  Nothing I’m about to say should be seen as diminishing them but I’d like to give you a new eye to look at some gymnasts from the past.

Previous to either 1979 or 1980 (sources disagree) artistic gymnastics floors were dead, that is they had no springs in them at all though were often made of quark or other ‘springy’ materials.  Based on interviews with gymnasts whose careers spanned the introduction of the spring floor I’m willing to put the first spring floor at an Olympic games to be 1980 (though some say that was also a dead floor).

The exact dimensions of the springs in floors over the course of history can be really hard to establish but we know that in the mid 1980s the floors had roughly 5cm of springs, around 1991 it had roughly 10cm of spring, and by Rio it was around 20cm of spring (give or take manufacturers).  Even during any given year some floors may be stiffer/or harder.

I’m going to use examples of people who were considered to be doing some of the most difficult tumbling of the time to demonstrate:

Nellie Kim (USR), FX, 1976 Olympic Games

She is tumbling on a dead floor.

Maxi Gnauck (GDR), FX, 1979 World Championships

She is tumbling on a dead floor (or with very small springs but I’m inclined to believe it is dead because of her own interviews).

I want to ask you to pay particular attention to her triple here and think about how many gymnasts on a modern floor don’t do one that well.

Oksana Omelianchik (USR), FX, 1985 World Championships

She is tumbling with roughly 5cm of floor spring.

Kim Zmeskal (USA), FX, 1992 World Championships 

She is tumbling on roughly 10cm of floor spring.  

I used 1992 Worlds rather than Barcelona because she had the traditional American stress fracture in Barcelona and this is a better representation of her tumbling.  She was the 1992 Floor World Champion.

Aly Raisman (USA), FX, 2016 Olympic Games

She is tumbling on roughly 20cm of floor spring.
