Saturday 2017/05/06 - Zeedijk, Friesland, Netherlands

Parked the motorcycle and as I was taking off my helmet these two little lambs did a magic trick and suddenly appeared at the other side of the cattle grid. When reviewing the footage I saw that they had no problem with the cattle guard whatsoever. No wonder they managed to get there so quickly... cute little buggers.

Found this checked-off grocery list in the grass whilst walking the dog. For some reason this little piece of litter really stood out. Perhaps it was simply because it was still so white and fresh, it couldn’t have been there longer than a few hours (on a Sunday 🤔). But maybe it just stood out because I’m a nosy dude 😊

Should have done this before the motorcycle season started but I finally got new tires fitted. They look so good 🤤 Now I only have to ride carefully for the next 1000 miles and then it’s back to good ol’ riding as usual.

The fond is frozen and the wind was playing around with the snow dust on the ice. No proper snow here in the North of the Netherlands but it was pretty to see the direction of the wind slowly form on the ice. Cold outside too brrr ❄️️

Starting to look like summer 😎 Still the middle of winter here though. Love how the reflection in the ditch makes the water look blue instead of it’s ugly regular brown. The condensation trail of the plane also caught my eyes.

I always shoot multiple photos just in case (digital photography 👍) but when clicking through the results at home I liked how these two shots worked together. They’re slightly off and the clouds move but the slight change in lighting with that dense pack of clouds at the horizon closing in just is so mesmerizing to me... so I made a gif out of them 😄
