Buho

Dibujo pensado para Halloween. Uno de los temas era: Búho, y de ahí, este resultado. Lo imagine como para tatuaje o estampado en ropa.

En la búsqueda de ideas por internet, descubrí que, antiguamente, los búhos eran denominados gatos con alas; tienen una gran flexibilidad en su cuello, lo que se le atribuía cualidades de vigilancia, nada se les escapaba durante la noche. Y una gran vista, sus ojos representan hasta el 5% de su peso corporal. Son gigantes y esa parte de su cuerpo destaca mucho... como los gatos, una razón mas para dibujarlo con mas entusiasmo (Amo los gatos).

Los búhos son animales que se caracterizan por vivir entre las tinieblas y en la oscuridad, rodeados de magia y misterio por la cultura popular, son los grandes vigilantes nocturnos. Por eso, la naturaleza como el bosque, la luna y un misterioso castillo a lo lejos, lo acompañan en este dibujo.

Aquí debía ser mas cautelosa en aplicar las sombras y apenas colorear las luces. Me gustó mucho aplicar las sombras (2 tonos de gris y algo de negro). Solo tenía celeste y azul, sin ningún otro tono, por lo que el resultado es graciasa una anormal  paciencia en los trazos. Personaje del videojuego; The Kingdom hearts. Regalo para un amigo.
