Okay but why do I think Din would be totally smitten and low key turned on by seeing reader interact with children ? ESPECIALLY A BABY.

I imagine you both are on a bounty hunt and decide to stay in the local village . The local kids absolutely love you and Grogu and Din sees you one late afternoon holding a baby very comfortably on your hip as you talk to some of the villagers. He just stares longingly and lovingly as your face lights up from the setting sun . Your smile shines beautifully as the baby stares up into your eyes . He then realizes how insanely fucked he is and how badly he wants to put a baby in you ASAP.

Of all the people to notice her internal thoughts, the constant fight she battled when the quiet of space overcame the pair , it was him. Mando of all people understood the subtle changes of the people around him , that’s what made him such a formidable bounty hunter . Life behind a helmet made one exercise the need to look beyond what was right in front of them, but seeing her slowly shift into what seemed like a lifelong battle that was proving too much , it squeezed at his heart in a painful way. She was so beautifully bright, like a cosmic shower of falling stars that no one could escape . It made Mando hurt in ways he didn’t realize he could , she was obviously in pain and not in a way that a simple med pack could mend, but a deep , scarred way , like old wounds kept opening up no matter how hard she tried to heal them. He wanted to ask her about her troubled sleep, the lost daze she would sometimes be stuck in, but every moment he got close to, it seemed to slip away , either with a distraction from the Child or just not the right time. He wanted nothing more than to understand what dimmed her smile , the same smile that sent his body into chills and his heart into galloping beats. Kohdah was strong , he knew that at his core, but he needed her to know he was here , in anyway she needed, no matter what the fight was.
