Karkat:

Karkat would probably go for a strong, fiery datemate. They would also need to have a caring, more patient side, as Karkat can be rather difficult to get along with at times. He gets angry easily, so the best S/O for him would be one that could calm him down when he needs it.

Tavros:

Tavros would want a sensitive partner. He’s a very emotional guy, so a more serious person would intimidate him. Of course, being as timid as he is, it would also be optimal for his datemate to be somewhat assertive - or at least have the ability to hold their own and stand up for him.

Sollux:

Let’s be honest here - Sollux would like a smartass. He’s a sarcastic fellow himself and his dream partner would be one that could trade quips with him in the back of the room whenever Karkat went off on one of his tirades. It would also be nice for him to have a partner with patience as he, like Karkat, can be very temperamental.

Equius:

Equius’s ideal partner would be caring and sweet. He’s a very tense troll, and it would take a lot of coaxing to bring out the more emotional and romantic sides. His S/O would have to have the ability to deal with his stubbornness and help him get along with others.

Gamzee:

Gamzee’s dream datemate would be fun-loving and lively. Being the silly person he is, they would need to be able to deal with his antics and, even better, join in. He would be even more interested if they could console him when he felt down, as even the happiest of trolls has his gloomier days.

Eridan:

Eridan’s ideal S/O would have to be tolerant of his moodiness and accepting of his quirky personality. Being a motherly person would also be a plus, as a warmhearted person might be needed to comfort him during hard times.

Beta trolls and kids most to least jealous?

As in a list?

- I could see Karkat, Dave, Eridan, or Equius being pretty far up there on the list.

- Tavros, Vriska, and Kanaya would probably come next.

- Gamzee would probably be somewhere in the middle. He does get jealous, but it takes a lot to actually make him feel that way. The same goes for Nepeta and Sollux.

- Aradia and Terezi would be on the lower side of the scale. Again, they get jealous on occasion, but don’t take it as seriously as the others.

- John and Rose wouldn’t get jealous often, simply because they wouldn’t see the point. If their partners were faithful, why worry?

- It would likely be the hardest to make Jade or Feferi jealous, given their easygoing demeanors.

It wasn’t often that you had nightmares. Normally, you only had bad dreams every once in a while. They hadn’t been too serious until recently, really - you had started getting the awful visions nearly every time you went to sleep.

This night was no exception. You fell asleep late that night, and as soon as you were fully unconscious, the hellish scenes once again started playing in your mind. Glimpses of violence and bloodshed littered your mind’s eye, but it was only when your boyfriend was murdered that you were finally shaken out of your dreams.

Slick awoke with a start, noticing immediately that something was wrong. Your breaths were frantic, and your eyes had an erratic look to them as you nervously glanced around the room. This alarmed him greatly and he took you into his arms, rubbing circles into your back. He kept on until your breathing became even, then slowly released you from his grasp.

As harsh as he could be, he would always have a soft spot for the people he loved.

“Another nightmare?” he asked, dark eyes gleaming with concern. You nodded wearily, sighing in defeat.

Shaking his head, Jack gently pulled you back down onto the bed and held you close, pulling the covers over your bodies. “Nothing to be embarassed about. These things happen,” he mumbled, running his fingers through your hair. “But you’re safe now, I promise.”

Could I get some headcanons for who would adore a chubby s/o? Us chubsters need love too~

Call me cliché, but honestly, I don’t think any of the characters would mind having a chubby datemate. Then again, I may just be biased, because I’m a bit rounder than average myself.

However, I suppose some characters may be more tolerant and empathetic of a self-conscious partner. For example, Jane would be able to reassure them that they’re just fine the way they are. Kanaya would let them now that she finds them beautiful, regardless of what others may say. Jade would never let them forget that she loves every curve, bulge, and soft area on them.

Karkat isn’t always the best at expressing how he feels, but he would do his best to show his significant other just how much he cares about them. Cronus and Porrim would both appreciate having a bigger partner - after all, there’s just more of them to love. Tavros and Nepeta wouldn’t mind in the slightest, as they would agree that there’s more to a partner than their appearance.

He should’ve known it would happen before it did, but it had somehow slipped his mind. It was impossible for him to stop your nightmares, but at the very least, he could prepare himself for them in advance. 

The omniscient man awoke to your shaking in bed beside him later that night. Normally, he would be perturbed by having his sleep disrupted, and would have scowled at the perpetrator had he not immediately realized what was happening.

“Oh, are you alright, love?” he began, snaking an arm around you. Empathy wasn’t exactly his forte, but he always tried his best to comfort you on nights like these.

The best you could do was stutter out a “no”. Such was the answer he feared, and the man gently pulled you closer to him, resting his head atop your shoulder. "Need to talk about it?”

You shook your head, and he decided against probing any further. Instead, he held you in silence and rubbed your back comfortingly, calming you down as best he could. It wasn’t long before his tactics worked, and he could sense you drifting off to sleep once again.

As you became limp in his arms, he gently lowered you onto your place on the bed, head cushioned by the plush white pillows. “I’ll always be here when you need me.”
