I had a professor in college who used to start solving every problem with the same dialogue.
Proff: What’s the first step to solving any problem?
Class: Don’t panic.
Proff: And why is that?
Class: Because we know more than we think we do.
I think about that a lot tbh. It didn’t occur to me until much later that he meant for us to apply that dialogue outside of the classroom to any problem. Because we always know more than we think we do. We are all an amalgam of random information that ends up being relevant with surprising frequency.

So I upgraded my car, I did have a 17 plated 4x4 that was quite expensive to run and I didn't really need a car that big so as I had some money put aside I bought a new 24 plated hybrid. It's so much cheaper to fill with fuel, etc. apart from the fact that in the last 2 weeks I have had to spend out nearly £500 on new tyres because of the potholes on my route to work 😭😭

There are some days at work where it's just draining to do anything.
I've been trying to find the common factor and it seems to be when my supervisor is in and gives us common sense orders. Like things we would be doing anyway but for some reason she feels the need to tell us to do them.

4 more days until I'm off work for 2 weeks and I am buzzing!! Just making a to-do list so I definitely get everything done because I will inevitably leave it all to the last minute and therefore forget something.
In face I'm 99% certain I will forget something anyway even with the list

Things friends can't do according to allos!
(these are all things I have been told with 100% sincerity, and not stuff that I myself believe.)
Give each other meaningful gifts
Pay attention to the others likes and dislikes
Look at one another in a 'certain way' (???)
Match clothes or accessories
Hold hands for 'too long' (???)
Hug for 'too long' or hug 'too close' (???)
Cuddle because it's 'too intimate'
Not want to pull away during a hug or holding hands
Lean onto the other emotionally and physically
Smile in one another's presence
Laugh at each others jokes
Give genuine advice
Text each other 'good morning' 'good evening' 'good night' 'happy birthday' 'happy new years' 'merry Christmas' etc, etc
Ask how the others doing
I'll add more once I think of things I've forgotten

It's the assumption that I don't want any kind of romance that really gets me.
I would LOVE nothing more than all the cutesy cuddly bits of a relationship but couldn't care less about the sex.
I read a lot of smut so I'm not totally opposed to it but at the same time I know I could go through life quite happily if I never lost my virginity.
For this reason I think I am Demisexual, I think I would be more open to a sexual relationship with someone I had an emotional connection with. But I suppose there's no way of testing that theory until I actually have that emotional connection with someone 😅
