You were in the kitchen preparing a small meal. It was not anything special but you showered it in love. You stood over the stove as you hummed a tune watching the water slowly begin to simmer and bubble up. You were cooking rice, that along with a roast in the oven along with a few veggies you had cooked for the side. You were calmly thinking to yourself as you cooked, your life was perfect, you had all that you could ever want in life. You had a home to call your own, the world was quiet and peaceful, and you were truly happy.

You were snapped back into reality when you felt a pair of hands slide around your waist, hugging you lightly from behind. You giggled lightly "darling~ What are you doing?" you hear a small sigh with a deep chuckle, "I am currently watching my Wife stare at water~" He hugged you closely giving a light kiss on your neck as he did so. You smiled as you pat his head with your free hand as the other stirred the water as it began to boil.

"Well it is more than water dear, its what your dinner is going to be cooked in. And I suggest if you want to eat cooked rice you should help me a bit by handing it to me~" You sang as you feel his head drop a bit, he sighed and let you out of the hug. He grabbed the bowl of rice and gave it to you, you poured it into the water and stirred it. Glancing over at him you see his soft smile, the same soft smile he has had for ages.

Yes he looked different from before but you still loved him. Your sweet Akaza was no longer the dark demonic brute you had first ran into. He now had soft pink hair, golden eyes, and soft pale skin. He almost looked like a normal albino in his new state. He looked almost as human as you. His deep blue markings were no longer shown, nor was he sickly looking. You don't know why or how he changed his look. But you loved him no matter what, you liked it anyways. It was a cool and cute look on him after all.

A memory of when you first met him hit your head. He was covered in blue markings, his eyes were dark and full of anger and hate. You remember it vividly, because without that moment, you most likely would be dead. You were in a ally way, being harassed and pushed around by a group of drunken men. You were beat up, crying as you begged them for mercy, which none planned on giving you. But before you knew it, all of the men where down on the ground covered in blood. You looked up to see Him, licking the blood off of his hand as he looked down at you. His eyes shined in a way that was strange but inviting.

You were shocked at the events that unfolded before you. How did he do it so fast? so easily? What did he help you of all things? why did he look so strange?

He was suddenly at a awe in words when he finally got a good look at you. The way you looked, your (H/L) (H/C) hair, those sweet (E/C) eyes, the way you just stood out in the moon light. The small drops of blood now on your cheek somehow complemented your look ... It struck a memory in him of his former self. He loved this feeling~

He looked at you and extended that same hand to you, "Hey there~ You alright little lady?~" as he gave you that soft smile. You grabbed it, he then pulled you up and pulled you into an embrace. It was then in that moment you two seemed to somehow click.

"So~ what all are you making?" He sang as he watched you closely, "Rice and some other stuff you can stuff in your face dear~" He chuckled as you did the same "Oh ok~ So its all just stuff for my face huh?" He said as he grabbed your hand slowly pulling you away from your stove and into his arms. "yes, I mean what else would you do with food hun?~" You laughed a bit to yourself holding onto his hands as you both danced around the kitchen. "Well you can do a lot with food, but eating it is just its main purpose I suppose~" He began to hum a tune as you both swayed back and forth. You lay your head on his chest taking in the moment.

You both suddenly hear little footsteps rushing your direction. You smiled as he let you out of the embrace as he looked in the door way. You slowly headed back to the stove to check on the rice. You her the sweet sound of childish laughter as your son ran into the room, being swooped up into Akazas arms as he hugged him close. You look to see them both laughing together, when they looked to you they both gave you a cheesy smile. Your son had many of Akazas personality perks even if he looked a bit more like you. "Hey Mommy!!" He said sweetly waving at you, you wave in return "Hi sweetheart!~"

Your rice was now done so you cut off the stove and walked up to them both. You hug them both closely, Giving your son a small kiss on the head and a sweet kiss to Akaza. You smile taking it all in.

This all you could ever what, a perfect dream you never wanted to leave. Nothing could ruin this for you, nothing at all~

- Aoi noticed this feeling one day when he had snuck in and started to raid the Kitchen of its snacks, She caught him obviously, but he acted like he didn't know what he was doing!

🦋 "HEY STOP STEALING FOOD!" I said, Taking it from him and all I got in return was a face stuffed and confused looking. "Here! You can have this, its all yours and you can eat as much as you want!" I gave him a plate of food. 🦋

- It was that face he had made at her, cheeks full of rice, with a small bit of pink on them, it made her heart melt

- She hardly saw him without the boar head, But she loved it when she did get to see his face, it made her blush every time

- She felt like this for a while now but how did he feel about her?

- "The Great INOSUKE! Has fallen ill!" Or at least he thinks he is when he first got this strange feeling in his gut

- His gut was never wrong when it came to how he felt but now he feels something new and strange

- He got that feeling shortly after his AMAZING RAID of that room where the weird ladies kept the food locked away

- He was stuffing his face when that small girl with the twin tails called him out,

🐗 "HEY STOP STEALING FOOD!" she said, "I wasn't stealing simply getting my fair share! for I am the GREAT INOSUKE" It was then she gave me a "plate" and said I could eat as much as I wanted, that this "Plate" was for me and me alone... 🐗

- That is when the feeling hit him, His gut got all stiff feeling but it made him feel fluffy and all squishy inside????

- It was a new feeling and it made him blush as he scrambled away from the scene, imminently he went to GAMPACHITO [Tanjiro] for guidance

- Tanjiro explained the feeling as "butterfly's" and it means you like someone and they make you happy

- GROSS but OK

- Eventually the two of them just kept bumping into one another

- Aoi had no clue but Inosuke would bump into her on purpose

- Inosuke's first complement to her was "Your face is ....n-nu-nice" He struggled to say it but she got the point

- Aoi finally told him her feelings one day when they were alone, little did she know Tanjiro was Near-by and heard it all

- Inosuke got that fuzzy feeling and froze up, Tanjiro swooped in and talked to Aoi on behalf of Inosuke about him feeling the same way

- She was happy about it, but Inosuke was a Work in progress

- As time went on they grew closer and he learned more about what it took to be a boyfriend as much as she learned how to be a girlfriend

- This blossomed into a beautiful and long relationship between the Two

- One day he noticed something about you, You hardly ever smile or laugh, But you were so nice and kind

- He tested his theory one day by trying to make you laugh, you didn't, but you told him it was "funny" and your "smile" seemed forced plus he could smell your real feelings

- He was able to sit you down and talk to you about it, you were honest with him, It took bit to understand what you meant by it all

- From then on he "trained" with you in the art of joy and happiness

- After a while you began to really feel joy and give real smiles

- Your first sign of it was that feeling in your tummy you got when Tanjiro took time with you each day to work with you, his smile made you warm and fuzzy.

- You both celebrated by going to eat sweets and treats with the rest of the Gampachi gang, you felt joy the whole time

- Shinobu had a semi-close relationship with you

- She knew of your issue the day you showed up in the Butterfly estates Infirmary with mild injuries

- During a "check up" she asked you about how you felt, because of your expressions and tone of voice she diagnosed it ASAP

- She knew just how to fix the issue for she suffered from the polar opposite of your issue, She struggled with showing sadness [resting -Bitch- Face ]

- She out-of-the-blue asked you why you struggled with it, you were honest, and she was very understanding and explained how she understood your struggle

- She worked with you each day to help improve your abilities in feeling joy with rehabilitation, medications, and other practices of hers

- After a while you were able to understand and express joy more than you had when you got there, she really was a big help

- She was able to do so before you were physically healed up, meaning you still had some time left in the estate

- You got to learn more about her and you became friends after a bit

- You ended up being close enough that she called you her friend, and you often visit her when you can [ hurt and not hurt ]

- Muichiro knew what you felt without actually knowing he did

- You and Muichiro met when Shinobu introduced you both because "meeting others who share traits helps the healing process" according to her

- You and him seemed to almost "Click" in a way, he did not know you nor did he know himself really

- You would talk with him about clouds, demon slaying, and mostly nature and you would have to remind him of many things for he forgot stuff

- He made you appreciate the small things and that made that fuzzy feeling you had grow with each conversation

- Each time he gave you a soft smile your heart melted, even if you struggled to give him one back he would giggle

- God his giggle made you light up almost, and Shinobu is the one who pointed out your pink cheeks and explained why you felt the way you did

- That was signs of joy, signs of being happy, and its called blushing, meaning you liked him kinda

- You denied such traits at first but soon came to accept them the more you hung around him

- You now call him your friend, yeah you blushed at him but he never seemed to mind

- And you often hang with him and Tanjiro together because they both seemed to enjoy one another along with you

- He was truly free of All human responsibility, You loved the idea of freedom of death and Pain

- When he would go out killing you watched closely, You rather enjoyed watching him do his thing

- "Are you ready for this power?" or "Don't you want to live forever with me?" are questions he would ask you every other night. You always teased him with your reply's of "maybes" And "What if's"

- After a while of this you fall for the demon and his power

- You finally give him a "yes" one night while you were both out and about, While he was Raiding a small village

- After his Raid he brought you all kinds of gifts to express his joy of being able to finally turn you, Which he wasted no time in doing so

- Once you turned Demon you joined him in his Raid to display your new found power and he showed you the "Perks" of Being demon

- The only reason he knew of you was because Daki [His sister] was threatened by you and your Charming looks and growing popularity

- Originally, She sent him to "take care" of you one night while she was taking care of her own, that alone was a sign to him

- He hardly gets away from his sister to make his own time and decisions, so as soon as he got this change he took it

- When he first saw you he was took back at your stature, he looked down at the fact of your power was gained simply because of your looks, he wanted to see more than that

- So When you first met him face-to-face, you were disguised more-so than scared because of the way his body was shaped, not because of his actual looks

- You sparked his interest, there was no getting rid of him now

- He now spent more time on his own following you every chance he got, his sister was in rage by this, he didn't care either

- After a while you took notice of him and became comfortable with his company You noticed he wouldn't leave you alone till you said something

- You met in in town one day while you were struggling with carrying some bags to your home, he helped you and walked you home [ it was late at night after all]

- He charmed you with his words, his looks, and with empty promises, Like the devil in disguise he was

- You ended up meeting him more often on small dates and outings, after a while it seemed off, the mood got weird the more he talked

- He stalked you, that is the only reason he knew so much about you and your humanly struggles, that explains the feeling of being watched you get daily

- After a while of not seeing him, bad luck seemed to follow you. Money issues, you lost your job, your mental and physical state got worse

- He looked for specific factors in what even made a human a tenth of what a demon should be

- He is so fluffy and sweet its hard to try not and love his habits!

- When he laughs his nose crunches up, he also snorts a bit.

- You can tell he is thinking really hard when he sticks his tongue out on the side

- It’s a habit he’s trying to break but struggles, so when he does it you get his attention by poking his cheek or calling his name

- He also has a habit of talking in his sleep, its mostly mumbles but sometimes you can make out small words, most of the time its your name or Nezuko’s

- Tanjiro also picked up a habit that he got from his trainings with Giyuu, He often checks to make sure both of his earrings are on because he has lost them numerus times

- When Tanjiro is making food or cleaning he hums little melody’s, but he is Tone deaf, so he struggles a bit, you don’t mind at all its super cute actually

- Zenitsu is full of tiny, cute habits, some are just a daily occurrence while others are rare

- Zenitsu, having buck teeth, sometimes makes a light while sound when saying some words, and a light lisp with others

- After the fight with the Spider demon and almost losing his hair, he picked up the habit of twirling his hair when he gets nervous or thinks really hard

- When you and him go to hold hands or he touches you, he 9 times out of 10 shocks you with a bit of electricity

- When Zenitsu pats your head or strokes your hair he leaves static in it, making your hair fly up a bit

- Zenitsu hates the rain, He can hardly stand fighting demons but when it rains he shocks himself often

- Zenitsu has a huge fear of being shocked by lightning again when he fights in the rain

- Zenitsu has a habit of grabbing the top of your pants when he sleeps, it comforts him knowing hes holding on to you even if it gets awkward sometimes

- He also snorts harshly when he laughs to hard, he hates this, but you love it

- Inosuke did not understand what a habit was until you kept pointing his own out to him

- He has a habit of falling asleep under his Boars hide when no one is around or if he is still enough to do so

- Inosuke also has a habit of sleeping sideways, with his head or feet hanging off high beds or straight up does not sleep on a mat at all, he prefers the floor or ground

- He can not stand having tons of layers of clothes on, it bothers him, so he changes clothes like a high-school girl until he is comfortable no matter how he looks

- When Inosuke gets nervous in public he grabs your haori or the edge of your shirt for comfort, he does this to Tanjiro as well

- When Inosuke gets scared in any way, instead of showing it he grabs your hand or gets close to you [ that’s how you know how he feels]

- You also noticed he states your name wrong when he’s feeling off, Unlike the others who he calls their names correctly

- Inosuke has a habit of playing with your hair when ever he can, he’s a bit heavy handed but you don’t mind at all because its cute

- He is such a softie and has a pure heart of gold

- Genya has a habit of always checking his hair and complexion when he passes any mirror or surface that shows his reflection

- A habit he picked up from an un-named source [From eating a demon not too long ago] Is he hides small shiny things around the house

- Genya has a habit of fiddling with his fingers when he is nervous along with kicking small rocks when he’s walking

- When ever he is around his brother, he has a habit of mocking his brothers’ facial expressions when he’s not looking, he said its to help him build up confidence, But Sanemi disagrees heavily

- Genya loves to fix your hair for you, but he has a habit of getting distracted and lost in doing so, a 5-minute fix becomes 30 minutes or more fast If you don’t stop him

- Genya has shaky hands, so he has the habit of making you stop what your doing to help him with his eye liner when he can get you

- When Genya gets mad and tries to talk loud his voice raises in a few pitches and as soon as he notices he turns red in embarrassment, but god you love it!

- She is very quiet and aware of her habits, so she fixes them as soon as she notices them

Inosuke was stomping ahead of them all puffed up about being the leader or something like that. You kept watching them chat softly to one another, Zenitsu glancing back at you every once in a while. You were just in this deep mood; you could not explain it. You just felt like something about they way they have been acting here lately was caused by you.

You glance down at your feet watching yourself walk. You suddenly get a shiver up your spine, feeling your name being said, someone is talking about you. You scratch the back of your head/neck trying to rid the feeling. “ow” you pull your hand back and look at it, dang your nails are long you just scratched the heck out of yourself. Thus, you begin to pick at your fingers, breaking off what you could and biting off others. Yeah, this was a habit you need to stop but man you hated having long nails and junk. It was so bothersome. It did often, maybe too often really, sometimes your fingers would turn red from it as well. But As soon as you started at them you were shook to have Zenitsu grabs your hands holding them in his one. You look up at him in confusion and he had a worried look on his face, blushing lightly.

“(Y- Y/N) – Chan you shouldn’t do that.” He stuttered to you. Looking in his eyes you saw a small spark. He was really worried about you. Why is he doing this? How much does he know about your habit? You nod to him giving him a soft smile, he turned redder than he already was, and he gave you a soft smile in return. Instead of letting you go he held on to one of your hands. You turn red as you began to walk along side him holding his hand. You didn’t mind this at all, but it was just sudden, and it wasn’t like his normal fan-Girling he did to you. You look to see Tanjiro and Inosuke walking ahead of you both and they were chatting and so on like normal.

You all kept walking on for a while, making small talk and eating Rice balls and such. Zenitsu never let go of your hand he kept holding it until you made it to a wisteria house. You all decided to stay there for the night and get some rest for your destination is close by meaning the real mission would start tomorrow when you arrived. After getting settled in you all ate supper and got ready for the night.

Inosuke got all puffed up about what mat he was sleeping on with Zenitsu and Tanjiro as you sat on yours at the end. It was you then Zenitsu was placed next to you, Inosuke then Tanjiro at the other end of the 4 mats. You were sitting there with Nezuko who had crawled out of her box shortly after you all got settled in and got in your lap. You were giving her head pats and such as you both watched the boys go at one another in cute arguments over strength and so on. Nezuko grabbed your hand and fiddled with your fingers, you had not messed with them in a while because of Zenitsu not letting you go earlier.

“oh Nezuko~” you said to her, she looked up at you tilting her head. “What will we do with these boys? ~” She shrugged with a small “mmhmm~” She placed her hand in yours comparing the sizes, her child like hand was much smaller than yours. You giggled as she “smiled” up at you, you notice how long her nails are and how neat they looked. She’s a demon and yet her nails are Long, sharp, and looked perfectly colored and shaped. You were snapped out your thoughts when you hear a high pitched “AWWWE! (Y/N)- CHAN AND NEZUKO- CHAN!!!~” Zenitsu said as he blushed a heavy red, fangirling at the sight of you two together being cute. Tanjiro Giggled with a light pink on his cheeks and Inosuke just huffed out some steam.

After a while you all headed to bed. Nezuko went back in her box, Tanjiro and Inosuke were fast asleep, the soft snoring was Zenitsu asleep next to you. You sat there looking at the celling, you couldn’t sleep at all. You kept thinking of Zenitsu and him holding your hand. You felt like he purposely had done it to you to keep you from your unhealthy habit. Maybe it was just amazing timing on his part. Who knows?

You sigh to yourself softly shifting to look his way, you watched him breathing slowly. “why did you do it?~..” You asked aloud softly whispering to yourself closing your eyes for a moment. “because of your hands…” you jump sitting up at the sound of an actual response. You look at him, he was now fully awake! He slowly sat up yawning and he wiped the small tear from his eye as he did so.

“I thought you were asleep!?” You ask him in a whisper, not wanting to wake the others. He looked at you “I was... But I could hear you.” He spoke. You had forgot this guy got killer hearing skills!! You giggle, “I’m sorry Zenitsu for waking you. I didn’t mean to…But what do-…what do you mean my hands?” you ask he gave you a soft smile and reached over cupping your hands in his.

“I noticed you have a habit of messing with your fingers when you get scared or nervous (Y/N)- Chan… and Me and Tanjiro talked about it… He said it was getting bad because he could smell your blood when you did it to much…” You look at him wide eyed, unsure if he could even see your face in the dark, the moon lit the room lightly just enough to see his figure and a bit of his face. You were ashamed you never thought of any of that kind of stuff, nor do you ever think of the after affects of your habit.

You looked down at your hands still cupped in his. “-and I want to help you (Y/N)- Chan~… I want to help you as best I can so~” You look back up at him he still had a smile on his face. “If you need to keep your hands busy, I will be more than happy to hold them to do so~ … That’s why I held your hand all the way here… So, your hand would be to busy to make you think of messing around with your other one…” You were now in tears hearing his sweet response, it made your heart melt hearing him say that he wanted to help you with something you thought was so small.

He was so nice, he was so kind, he was just amazing. You smile at him, he took his hand and wiped you tears off your face lightly. He then cupped your cheek and softly rubbed it with his thumb. “(Y/N)- Chan~… You are important to me; I want you to know that!... I-I- I umm…-“ He stuttered, you could hardly see it but he was blushing hard. You smiled and leaned in giving him a small peck on the lips. “your special to me to Zenitsu~” you say to him, you heard him lightly squeal in shock and excitement. You lay back down, and he shook a bit and did the same. You faced one another and you intertwined your hands with his. You smile to him “Thank you Zenitsu~ for your help… Good night~” He smiled back “Good Night (Y/N)- Chan~ sweet dreams~” You closed your eyes and fell asleep soon after. Finally at peace with yourself and the last thing on your mind in that moment was your hands, and how they were now holding Zenitsu’s.

You were admiring the night sky in silence. Feeling the breeze from the night air blow your hair softly. You were on a rooftop of one of the many houses in this small village you found about 2 weeks ago on this mountain. You listened closely to the silence…waiting for the smallest sound. A sound you loved more than anything in this world. The sound of someone’s footsteps.

Why, you ask? Because that meant someone was breaking the rules. Walking outside at night was strictly forbidden in this town and everyone here knew it. This rule is what kept people safe from Demons who lurk outside…Demons like you~

But you were smarter than most demons around this area, you always had a plan. You had strategy to your attacks, Methods to disposing of whatever you didn’t eat, more importantly skills to avoid what ever threatens you. And because of that you have been able to make 7 kills in the 2 weeks that you have been here. More than enough to most, but to you that was just a snack.

Then…you suddenly hear that sweet sound. Footsteps just a few feet from your location. You smiled giggling lightly as you slowly walked to the edge of the rooftop you were on. You looked down to see 2 young guys walking slowly through the streets. You smiled to yourself as you prepared to make your move. This is going to be sooo~ Easy~ you thought.

Until….

They both looked up at you. They knew you were watching them. How? This caught you off guard. One of them yelled out and then they pulled out swords. Katanas? It doesn’t matter!! You were confused and shook at this, so you quickly turn to run in the opposite direction. But as soon as you did you heard more footsteps as 2 others were now running at you. They all lookedthe same. The same clothes…no uniforms…they are Demon Slayers!

You ran as fast as you could at this point. Doing everything you could to avoid the 4 slayers that are now after you. You ran until you reached the edge of the town and you were sure that would make them stop chasing you. But as you exited the town they kept coming after you. What do I do now! They are going to kill me at this rate! I’m to young to lose my head! I haven’t even killed 10 people yet! I’m so close please! You cried to yourself as you ran into the woods outside of the town. As you did the slayers slowly got closer to you. What was slowing you down!? Your covered in it at this rate! Its sticky and annoying! Its-

Spider webs?

As you noticed this the sound of footsteps went quiet. Why? You stopped running behind a tree and looked behind you. The slayers were standing together in a circle and ready to fight. What else is there besides me? Is it because of all the webs? Do they not want to get stuck in them? Scared of spiders? Many thoughts filled your head.

You watch closely, then before you knew what had happened. One of the slayers was sliced into small bits, another was pulled into the air by a unsee force and bulled apart. The other two tried to run off but both were pulled back by the same force and into the trees. You didn’t see them all you saw was a big splash of blood from the trees. Nothing more.

You took a moment to breath and relaxed a bit. They were no longer after you, because their all dead, but that’s not the point. But…what killed them? You imminently feel a presence like no other. It was a demon, But MUCH Stronger than you. You freeze in place. You couldn’t more because of this feeling. You could feel its strength as it grew close to you. You tightly close your eyes fearing the worst.

…

“Hey…You are indeed alive, correct?”

I am? What is with that voice?

You open your eyes to see the one who bears all that strength. You were correct it was a demon. But not what you imagined him to look like. You were expecting a big, strong elder demon much greater than yourself. But what you got was…This small boy, white and pure looking with dark red marks all over his face. His Kimono had the Pattern of Spider webs and he had no shoes on. But what got you was those ice blue eyes, full teal lashes, and the symbol in his eye. It was a kanji. “Lower rank 5” What does that mean you thought.

He looked at you with such a soft gaze. He was just standing there playing with the small webs connecting his fingers. He looked like a kid. You were the same Hight as him, same size, and figure. Weird…

“I saved your life…” He stated bluntly

“That was you!? That was amazing. I thank you for helping me…” You smiled at him and he looked at you the same. No emotion on his face, this is awkward.

“You are alive because of me…You understand that…yes?”

You were confused what answer did he want from you. You simply nod at him.

“You now owe your life to me…Don’t you agree?”

What! No way, he can’t be serious! He’s joking right! You stood there with a slightly confused look on your face.

“hmm…you look confused did I not say it clearly enough for you?” He then pulled on the webs he was playing with. This made your body tighten up, it hurt. You looked down to see he had webs on you. Wrapped all the way around your arms and legs. How did-When did he do this?! In fear of your own life, you gave him the answer he wanted. “YES! I owe you! I’m thankful you saved me from those slayers!” With that the webs stopped.

“hmm…good. Because you now owe me… I have an idea set for you; do you accept?”

He walked up to you. He was in arms reach if only you could move away from him. You were scared what did he mean by “set for you” it was terrifying the things that popped into your head. As he got closer you freaked out a bit. You looked down a bit but nodded feeling you had no other choice.

“Good…What all do you know about being a little sister...”

A Little sister? Are you serious right now. You spoke with slight confusion. “Not much. I don’t remember much of my former human life, but I do know I was an only child.” He looked at you with the same blank face. “Well then…That means you will be learning from scratch…That makes things a bit easier…” He moved the web between his finders, and you were released from the webs. You almost fell on your knees, but he grabbed your hands holding you steady. Suddenly his gaze was no longer just blank rather it felt warm and welcoming. He stood you back up straight and held on to one of your hands. I am Rui…But you soon will be able to call me Big brother…” He stated with his soft tone. “Follow closely now~” He said with a small joyful tone. Barley enough to tell it was there but you caught it. It made you smile a bit yourself. As he began to walk forward, you followed in suit.

He led you to a run-down looking house further into the woods. As you approached it more demons began to show their faces. They all had similar features to his, white skin, red face marks, or some resemblance to a spider and so on. Was this his real family? You thought. Then you were sat at an old table with broken eating utensils, plates, and bowls, all empty and dusty. All the other demons gathered around and sat down all looking at you. No one spoke, no one dared moved out of place. All was silent. He sat in the seat next to you. He had a very faint smile on his face. It made you feel warm inside somehow. You noticed One of the other demons was now holding a bowl of what looked lake water. She held it close to him not making any form of eye contact with him. He Used his small webs in his fingers to cut his own hand, bleeding into the bowl, Turning it all dark red. He then grabbed it from her and held it in front of you.

“As of now…You are a part of this family, when you drink this…My blood…you will be one with us, You will be My little sister.” He handed you the bowl and you looked into it. Seeing yourself as you are now. Your big (E/C) eyes, your soft (S/T) skin, and your (H/L) (H/C) hair flowing in your face. You felt different now it was sudden and strange. He wanted you here, he could protect you, he didn’t have to save you, yet he did. So, you took a final breath before raising the bowl to your lips and drinking his blood. Once done you sat the bowl down in front of you. Looking into it, its now empty and you can no longer see yourself. Then you closed your eyes for what felt like a mere second and all you remember from then…

Is pain

Once the pain went away you opened your eyes to see his hands on your face. He was holding it ever so softly. His hands were cold but that didn’t bother you. You felt safe suddenly. He smiled down at you. “Congratulations You are now a part of our family” you smiled lightly and in the corner of your eye another demon was holding something. He gave it to Rui and he held it up to your face. It was a small slightly broken Mirror. In it you did not see your old self. You saw….Rui. Or was that really you. You looked just like him. Your markings seemed to match up with his, just there were like flipped onto the other side, opposite of his own. Your eyes were the same, yet you lacked in the Kanji he had in his. Your hair was much like his now just much longer. You looked up to him with a small smile on your face. You were part of this family now…you felt safe and warm. He smiled back and grabbed your hand placing one of his small webs around your pinky finger.

“You are now home. You are special and I know it…So I made you into the perfect image… You are now part of me…as my little Twin Sister.” He smiled at you as you did to him. You giggled “is this a pinky promise?” he nodded “pinky promise”

From then on you two were inseparable, you were loyal to him, the string always connected you two and because of this you two hardly ever separated from one another. Darning battled and such he was by your side, that string always being your guide to him. You were with him for many years. He treated you different from the others as well as you did to him. You loved him as he did you. He was your everything as you were to him. You were happy for once in forever.

Prompt of alt- You are Rengoku’s known Girlfriend! BUT, if you have yet to watch the movie or read the manga this may not be for you! So please read at your own risk!

This also takes place after the movie, the alter is instead of the known /Ending Fight/ it is replaced with all of them coming home. Yes, the fight happens but it ends with all being injured instead of death and so on. Meaning no one dies. But the aftermath has been heavily altered to fit the contact of this Fan-story.

You were sitting there at the train station waiting. “Where are they?... he should be here by now!” you began to panic because the train he was on had yet to come into the station, it was now late by half an hour. You were trying your hardest to just sit there and wait, it was killing you not knowing if he was ok or not alone with the other slayers who joined him in his mission. You close your eyes and begin a small prayer for their safety, one you learned from the Stone Pillar Gyomei. It was at this moment you hear a familiar cawing sound. You finish your prayer and look up to see your trusty Raven flying down to you.

“(Y/N)! (Y/N)!” She spoke as she flew down. She landed down on your shoulder, lucky for you she was rather small compared to others. “Shh! Momani, you can’t speak out here! There are regulars around!” [Regulars- Non slayers, civilians] With that she leaned in with a soft caw. “Kyoujurou Rengoku! Along with 3 other slayers and the Demon Nezuko have been spotted!” Your eyes widen, you feel that awful tension in your gut go away knowing they are still alive.

“They have defeated the Lower rank Demon Enmu! The Train is no longer running! Your attendance is needed at the Butterfly estate! All known Slayers are injured and headed there now! Go (Y/N)! The Butterfly estate! ” She cawed flying off of your shoulder into the sky ready to lead you to your next location. You get up and dust off, heading to the butterfly estate. You were excited to finally see your beloved Sunshine after he had been gone for so long.

[Time skips because your journey was long]

You had finally made it to the Butterfly estate you walk up to the entrance and you were greeted by the small girl with pigtails, Aoi. She looked a bit worried when she saw it was you and before you could get any words out, she grabbed your hand and dragged you to wherever she was going. “H-Hey Aoi! Where are we going!?” She looked back at you “you will understand when we get there, Miss (Y/N) as of right now you are needed really badly! Not to mention you were late on arrival today as usual!” You rolled your eyes; you were not late! If anything, you were early, she always has a reason to be this way to you.

You were finally let go of once you had reached one of the infirmary rooms. You look down at her a bit confused, she looked up at you with worry fiddling her fingers a bit. “So, Miss (Y/N) you do understand why you are here right?” She spoke. “Yes of course I do! Rengoku and the other slayers who went with him are here because of their injuries right. I was told to come to help right?” She looked down, “why what is with that face Aoi? Just tell me.” She looked at you with that stern little face she always had on

“You’re here because Rengoku Injuries are Sever! He Got into a fight with an Upper Rank Demon…” Your eyes shot open, A upper rank demon, one of the twelve Kizuki? No way.

You went to open the door and see him, but she grabbed your hand holding it there, you shoot a glare at her. “Listen! Tanjiro said he won but the demon got away… has hurt really bad but he asked you be here… so please don’t freak out…” you were on the verge of tears, but you sucked it up and nodded to her. She let you go and you slowly slid the door open.

You saw many empty beds, and the room was only lit by the sunlight coming in from outside. But you finally saw him. He was sitting up in his bed looking outside he had the same soft smile as he always did but… He was covered in bandages his chest and stomach were fully rapped up; His right eye was also rapped up. You gasped lightly at this; how could he have done something so reckless. With that he slowly turned to see you, he gave you his big cheesy grin like he always did, “Hello (Y/N)! It sure has been a moment!” He spoke with his loud sweet tone; it was a bit harsh sounding, but you didn’t mind. You walked up to him taking in his new image, all he did was watch your movements with his smile plastered on his face.

You get to him finally and he grabs your hand, and you sit next to him on his bed. You were about to cry, You were sad and happy all at once. He was alive but hurt so bad… “why are you tearing up my sunshine? ~” He said as he wiped your tears softly with his other hand. You sniffle a bit “I am right here am I not?” You nod. “then why be sad when I am here by your side! Smile for me~ “You lean into his hand giggling lightly giving him a soft smile. “That’s it! Come on now! ~ I have not seen your beautiful smile in days! Give me your best!!” You couldn’t help but laugh at this. Despite all his injuries, his raspy voice, the pain he must be feeling he was worried about you and a simple smile. That’s your Rengoku alright.

“There it is~…that sweet smile so bright and radiant as ever~…” you softly lean in hugging him ever so softly and he hugged you back. You felt him jump a bit in pain yet when you tried to pull away, he only pulled you in closer, hugging you tightly.

“My sunshine~… I am so glad I get to see you again… I could have ended it all but…” he let you go and as you faced him, he placed a hand on your cheek. “I wanted to come home to you once more~”

You smiled to him as he leaned in and gave you a soft passion filled kiss. “I’m just so glad you’re ok and safe~” he laughed aloud “I am merely glad I am in one piece! I was almost split into two halves! Could you image two of me walking around (Y/N)?” You both laugh on together.

He was safe and sound with you by his side. You could feel your spirits lift each time you saw him. You stayed at the Butterfly estate for as long as he was there. You helped around and talked to Tanjiro and them about their mission. Rengoku would tell you stories of the mission and Tanjiro and the others was so excited because Rengoku told them he would train them all. You were so happy to see him smile and glow like he did. You couldn’t ask for more from the world than what you had with Rengoku. He was your Sunshine like you was his, he lit up a room and all the people he looked at. He was the reason you kept moving forward, he was the fuzzy feeling in your tummy, he was so much more than words could express.

He was the Fire Burning in your heart, never going out only getting brighter as each day passed.

Warnings- Fluffish, Inosuke’ s hardheadedness, some mature humor, Zenitsu being himself, Idk really its what ever you get out of it.

You were a walking, more like limping, down a dirt trail, heading to the nearest Wisteria house. You had just got out of a heavy mission that had you battle 3 different demons each stronger than the last. Yeas you succeeded in your mission, but you had injured your left arm and you felt like you had broken something on the side. You had your raven lead you by telling you how far you were and where to turn. so, once he stated that it was just up ahead, you waved him off, and off he flew to wherever he goes to give a report of how your mission went. You saw the House just a few feet away. You sighed in relief, you were exhausted and hungry not to mention.

So, once you got to the gate a small elder lady smiled to you and had let you in., she showed you around, and so on. She had food ready, fresh clothes just for you, and just as she was heading to show you where you would be sleeping, she stopped and looked at you a bit worried.

“Dear slayer…. I hope you do not mind… But we have 3 other slayers staying here, all with injuries much like your own. And unlike most we are a small House. We have one resting room and all 3 are sharing it as well… But Would you mind sharing a room with them? I know a young lady shouldn’t, but I would hate to have you sleep somewhere unpleasant or cramped up like a closest space.” She softly smiled to you.

For as much as you hated sharing a sleeping space, you didn’t want to seem rude or snobby to her. She looked so small and fragile. “of course, not ma’am, I do not mind at all. I understand, I grew up with 3 younger Brothers! So, it will feel like home!” You smiled to her softly and she seemed to perk up. “Alight then, just allow me to let them know and I will bring you that way.” She went a few doors down and spoke to whoever was inside. After a moment she waved you to come. “these slayers are going to be here a bit longer than you miss. But I assure you they are no harm.”

You nodded and looked inside you saw 2 boys sitting down on the ground, and one was knocked out cold. One was blonde, the other had a big scar on his head, and lastly the boy who was knocked out had…a rather…feminine face.

They both looked at you and smiled, the blonde one seemed to light up at your sight, turning a bright red. The other just smiled and slightly bowed his head to you. “Well now you 4.” The lady spoke, “Make yourselves at home~ I shall go and prepare tonight’s supper” She bowed and made her leave. You slowly walked into the doorway and bowed to them both smiling.

“Hello I am (F/N) (L/N), It is an honor to meet you.” The one with the scar spoke “Nice to meet you, I am Tanjiro Kamado, this here is Zenitsu Agatsuma…” He stated referring to the blonde boy, he was as red as a tomato and looked like he was fangirling on the inside. Weird. “… and This here is Inosuke, He is out cold as of now, but I am sure he won’t mind having you here with us.” He smiled to you.

You slowly walked in setting your things down on your sleeping mat, which was right next to Tanjiros own. He seemed like the most normal out of the two you can see. You looked back at them once you were all settled in, sitting down. “So, what got you 3 in here for so long? Big fight?” you asked stretching a bit.

“Oh yeah me and Zenitsu went to take out a demon that was snatching people and taking them to a dark mansion of some assortment. There we met Inosuke, he was lost inside, so we helped get him out. Afterwards we came here for rest, Doctor said we all have broken ribs and such so I think we shall be here for a while.” Tanjiro stated.

Zenitsu walked over sitting down on Tanjiro mat next to him. “S-so miss (Y/N)-Chan~” He stuttered smiling, “What kind of mission did you fulfill in order to get here?~” He propped his head in his hands smiling like a doofus almost, it was cute but still weird.

“Well I was sent on a solo patrol mission, but I got tangled up with 3 demons of higher rank than most of the small ones in this area. So yeah….I messed up my arm and my shoulder. I got 2 cracked ribs but other than that I’m just fine.” They both looked at you in Awe. “3 demons! By yourself!” Tanjiro said impressed, Zenitsu cheered grabbing your hands and cupping them in his own, “Wow you are so strong (Y/N)-Chan!! ~ So amazing! I bet you could even protect me from those awful demons! ~ ” You smiled and as you went to say something you were cut off by a big deep yell.

“AAHHHHH!!!!!!” It was that Inosuke Guy. He jumped up screaming looking around like a mad man. “WHERE ARE WE?! WHERES MY BOAR HEAD!?! WHO IS THAT?!?” He pointed to you, he looked mad, but he still had that famine charm on his face. You stared a bit looking confused “So loud” you thought. Tanjiro and Zenitsu both sweat dropped at the sound, Zenitsu looking more annoyed than Tanjiro.

Tanjiro was smiling a bit nervously at him “It’s ok Inosuke, she is a Slayer just like us. And your mask is just over there.” He pointed to a boar head that you dint even notice across the room, next to it a Big box. Weird. With that Inosuke ran over, grabbed it, and placed it on as quickly as possible. He then turned and pointed at you once more.

“YOU! FIGHT ME RIGHT NOW. PROVE YOUR STRENGTH TO THE ALMIGHTY INOSUKE!!! LORD OF THE MOUTIANS!!!” He then Began to laugh like crazy. “eh….No thanks I cant fight right now I-“ “I SAID FIGHT ME!” he cut you off. “No, my arms in no sh-” “NOW!” God he’s rude.

Zenitsu spoke jumping up “INOSUKE SHE SAID NO! DON’T PUSH A LADY!” Inosuke got in his face. “I DO WHAT I WANT MONETZU!” “THAT’S NOT MY NAME!” The two argued for a while. Tanjiro gave you a soft smile,

“Please excuse them, They bump heads quite often, I am sorry you have to hear it all” You smiled back at him “Nah its fine, my Siblings were the same way so it’s nothing new I promise.” You both giggled a bit at them. “I to understand, I had siblings as well, so I see what you mean.” Had.. That rang in your head. You didn’t want to ask a personal question like that but based on his slight saddened look you didn’t have to.

You understood the feeling all too well. For yes you had a family. A mother and 3 little brothers. You lost your bothers all to sickness. Lost your mother to depression. It was just you. So, you felt his pain. But You decide to change the mood a bit.

“Its fine Zenitsu!” You stood up, using the knowledge of how to handle childish fights.

“I accept your challenge Lord of the mountains! I (Y/N) (L/N) eh-…Goddess of the Flowers! Shall take you on!” You joked at him winking at Zenitsu, who only smiled nodding a bit as he turned red.

You were no goddess, but you did know Flower Breathing style so hey good enough. “GODDESS OF FLOWERS!?!” He spoke in shock then froze.

…

What the?

All 3 of you looked at him confused he was just standing there. It seemed like little flowers formed around his head. You tilted your head “Inosuke?” He then jumped a bit point at you in a dramatic way. “ALRIGHT GODDESS I-…eh...I WILL LET YOU PICK THE CHALLENGE! B-because eh…YOU GIVE THE MOUTAIN CREATRES FOOD AND S-STUFF!”

That caught Zenitsu and Tanjiro off guard.

He was “being nice” for once, to a girl, all because of you saying you are a goddess of flowers?? Wow he is one weird guy.

You smiled to him bowing a bit to him, he jumped at this a bit. “Alright Lord of the mountains! We shall not fight then, rather we shall see who knows the most about flowers. If you are a Lord of the mountains, you should not struggle with this!” You spoke up placing your one good hand on your hip. Tanjiro smiled and Zenitsu giggled, Inosuke Blew a bit of steam and gladly accepted the challenge.

You all got up an went out to the small garden behind the Wisteria House. It was a simple garden, and it was so peaceful. You looked around it was very traditional and there were all kinds of flowers besides Wisteria ones. Once outside you explained the challenge to him

“Alright Tanjiro and Zenitsu will keep count of how many plants and flowers you can correctly name, and you have to give 1 fact about the flower as you go. Can you handle that Lord of the mountains?” You smiled to them and Inosuke puffed his chest

“OF COURSE I CAN! GAMPACHIDO KEEP MY SCORE!” Tanjiro agreed and of course reminded Inosuke of his actual name.

Zenitsu walked over to you and whispered “How did you come up with this idea, I have never seen him act so sane” you giggled

“I had 2 younger brothers who act liked you and him. And they like pretending to be powerful and stuff like that. So, it’s a game we would play.”

His eyes shined a bit at this “Wow (Y/N)-Chan your so amazing~ And good with kids! You would make an amazing wife~” He said blushing to himself almost in a dazed state, you shoot that last part off and got ready.

“Alright you ready?!” “I WASBORN READY!” Tanjiro smiled standing in front of you both “3…2…1… GO!” you were both off.

Zenitsu followed you as Inosuke dragged Tanjiro with him. Time had passed as you both named flowers and so on. But soon enough after about an hour of this, the elder of the house came outside to tell everyone dinner was done. So you all gathered back at the main door.

“Inosuke had 49 done!” Tanjiro spoke

Zenitsu giggled “(Y/N)-Chan had 50 Done! Meaning she won!”

Inosuke jumped and puffed up in rage and you smiled at him. You see his annoyance and extend your good hand “That’s amazing Inosuke, I have never met a mortal to even get past 20 when up against me. I Praise you for your Amazing knowledge!” He looked at your hand than at you

– he froze –

…

Tanjiro and Zenitsu patted your back and talked to one another as they both headed inside for supper. You sat and waited on Inosuke to Unfreeze, so you sat down as he stood there. After about 3 minutes he unfroze jumping a bit. You looked up to patting the spot next to you. He sat, and looked at you, or at least you think he is its hard to tell with that boar head on him.

“You are a more than worthy opponent to the great Lord of the mountains!” He stated and you giggled.

“I Thank you Flower Goddess…” You looked at him,

“For all your many blessings to the mountains and its life. You allowed another spring to come and much more bloomed this year than last.”

You were caught off guard, he was being serious with you. He was not yelling or jumping around. This was a new side to him and taking a big guess you are the first to ever see it. He took off his boars head and got on one knee in front of you

“I accept my defeat, for now, but as Lord of the mountains! I shall one day beat you!!” He gave you a big grin crunching his brows.

You smiled “I can’t wait for it Inosuke, for you truly are the lord of the mountains as you claimed. So I thank you for being true to me.”

He looked down, there was a small dandelion in front of him. He picked it up and held it to you. “This here. I did not know its name and it cost me!!!” He said with slight rage.

But he looked at you the small flowers forming around him. “W-what is it goddess?” He asked with a small red tint on his cheeks. You smiled trying not to laugh at him, To cute!

You softly grabbed it from him. “It’s called a dandelion; they are not a flower they are mere weeds.” He looked a bit mad at this, you had to think of something fast before he flipped. “They may just be everyday weeds, but they are very powerful! Being a weed masks their true power!”

His eyes widened “WHAT POWER!?! TELL ME GREAT GODDESS!” He was back to his normal tone, so strange, it was fun. “They ah…They grant 1 wish to who ever blows them away with a single breath!” You gave it back to him.

“Go ahead, as a token of my gratitude I shall give you this weed of power for your one wish~”

He gave you a big smiled and took it. Closing his eyes,” I WISH FOR ANOTHER GRAND SPRING ON THE MOUTIANS!!!” Then he blew it out in one breath.

You couldn’t help but smile at this. He wasn’t just a rude grunt, he was actually just kindhearted of others, just had a hard time showing it. You nod to him standing up,

“I accept your wish Inosuke Lord of the mountains! Now let’s go eat before the others eat it all!!”

He jumped up yelling as he did and ran inside quickly leaving you behind, you hear small yells of Tanjiro and Zenitsu as he entered the room and started eating. You smiled and followed you walked into him and Zenitsu fighting over food and Tanjiro warm smile. You sat next to Tanjiro who had managed to save you some food. You chatted with Tanjiro about Inosuke and other stuff as well.

The evening rolled on and as night turned today, you felt good about your newfound slayer pals. You got to know each one of them as the days passed by and you all healed up together. Especially you and Inosuke. Unlike the others he said your name right and talked to you in a normal tone, he viewed you as an equal in a way. Tanjiro would always say how happy he was to see Inosuke have a real “Normal Friend” who understood half of what he said. Zenitsu would always fangirl at you and would hold your hand time to time, which made Inosuke flip out because “NO mortal should ever touch a goddess” He sounded like Zenitsu when it came down to how to respect you.

This went on all over your stay of 3 weeks or so. You also got to know more about Tanjiro and his family, only because you had to meet his sister Nezuko who warmed right up to you quickly. You were nervous of her at first but hey this was a weird bunch of kids after all. Now when she comes out of her box she crawls in your lap or grabs your hand wanting head pats. This group really was like your Second family. You loved it.

Once you healed up instead of heading off to a mission, you were allowed to hang around with the trio until they healed up as well. You all became very close, and you were glad to not be a solo slayer.

You and Inosuke had created a great relationship together. He would never admit it, but he looked up to you, your power, strength, and…He liked how your face looked.

You made him feel things it was weird. But he liked it. He enjoyed you as much as you did him. It was new and different in the best way.

After they were all healed up, you all set out for your next mission. You traveled alongside them. You 5 together made one big, strange Family.

A hardheaded Slayer and his Demon sister, A Boar Man from the mountains, A blonde looking for courage and love, and A girl who was on a quest to find something new.

You were all from different walks of life yet because of a few injuries that broke you all down. You were able to build each other up into something big, something powerful. A family. Something you had wished for so long ago. “They really are powerful” you thought to yourself as you all walked on. Looking at each of them and stopping at Inosuke. Watching him argue with Zenitsu you giggled.

Thanks to the strange power of a small weed.

You were admiring the night sky in silence. Feeling the breeze from the night air blow your hair softly. You were on a rooftop of one of the many houses in this small village you found about 2 weeks ago on this mountain. You listened closely to the silence…waiting for the smallest sound. A sound you loved more than anything in this world. The sound of someone’s footsteps.

Why, you ask? Because that meant someone was breaking the rules. Walking outside at night was strictly forbidden in this town and everyone here knew it. This rule is what kept people safe from Demons who lurk outside…Demons like you~

But you were smarter than most demons around this area, you always had a plan. You had strategy to your attacks, Methods to disposing of whatever you didn’t eat, more importantly skills to avoid what ever threatens you. And because of that you have been able to make 7 kills in the 2 weeks that you have been here. More than enough to most, but to you that was just a snack.

Then…you suddenly hear that sweet sound. Footsteps just a few feet from your location. You smiled giggling lightly as you slowly walked to the edge of the rooftop you were on. You looked down to see 2 young guys walking slowly through the streets. You smiled to yourself as you prepared to make your move. This is going to be sooo~ Easy~ you thought.

Until….

They both looked up at you. They knew you were watching them. How? This caught you off guard. One of them yelled out and then they pulled out swords. Katanas? It doesn’t matter!! You were confused and shook at this, so you quickly turn to run in the opposite direction. But as soon as you did you heard more footsteps as 2 others were now running at you. They all lookedthe same. The same clothes…no uniforms…they are Demon Slayers!

You ran as fast as you could at this point. Doing everything you could to avoid the 4 slayers that are now after you. You ran until you reached the edge of the town and you were sure that would make them stop chasing you. But as you exited the town they kept coming after you. What do I do now! They are going to kill me at this rate! I’m to young to lose my head! I haven’t even killed 10 people yet! I’m so close please! You cried to yourself as you ran into the woods outside of the town. As you did the slayers slowly got closer to you. What was slowing you down!? Your covered in it at this rate! Its sticky and annoying! Its-

As you noticed this the sound of footsteps went quiet. Why? You stopped running behind a tree and looked behind you. The slayers were standing together in a circle and ready to fight. What else is there besides me? Is it because of all the webs? Do they not want to get stuck in them? Scared of spiders? Many thoughts filled your head.

You watch closely, then before you knew what had happened. One of the slayers was sliced into small bits, another was pulled into the air by a unsee force and bulled apart. The other two tried to run off but both were pulled back by the same force and into the trees. You didn’t see them all you saw was a big splash of blood from the trees. Nothing more.

You took a moment to breath and relaxed a bit. They were no longer after you, because their all dead, but that’s not the point. But…what killed them? You imminently feel a presence like no other. It was a demon, But MUCH Stronger than you. You freeze in place. You couldn’t more because of this feeling. You could feel its strength as it grew close to you. You tightly close your eyes fearing the worst.

“Hey…You are indeed alive, correct?”

I am? What is with that voice?

You open your eyes to see the one who bears all that strength. You were correct it was a demon. But not what you imagined him to look like. You were expecting a big, strong elder demon much greater than yourself. But what you got was…This small boy, white and pure looking with dark red marks all over his face. His Kimono had the Pattern of Spider webs and he had no shoes on. But what got you was those ice blue eyes, full teal lashes, and the symbol in his eye. It was a kanji. “Lower rank 5” What does that mean you thought.

He looked at you with such a soft gaze. He was just standing there playing with the small webs connecting his fingers. He looked like a kid. You were the same Hight as him, same size, and figure. Weird…

“I saved your life…” He stated bluntly

“That was you!? That was amazing. I thank you for helping me…” You smiled at him and he looked at you the same. No emotion on his face, this is awkward.

“You are alive because of me…You understand that…yes?”

You were confused what answer did he want from you. You simply nod at him.

“You now owe your life to me…Don’t you agree?”

What! No way, he can’t be serious! He’s joking right! You stood there with a slightly confused look on your face.

“hmm…you look confused did I not say it clearly enough for you?” He then pulled on the webs he was playing with. This made your body tighten up, it hurt. You looked down to see he had webs on you. Wrapped all the way around your arms and legs. How did-When did he do this?! In fear of your own life, you gave him the answer he wanted. “YES! I owe you! I’m thankful you saved me from those slayers!” With that the webs stopped.

“hmm…good. Because you now owe me… I have an idea set for you; do you accept?”

He walked up to you. He was in arms reach if only you could move away from him. You were scared what did he mean by “set for you” it was terrifying the things that popped into your head. As he got closer you freaked out a bit. You looked down a bit but nodded feeling you had no other choice.

“Good…What all do you know about being a little sister...”

A Little sister? Are you serious right now. You spoke with slight confusion. “Not much. I don’t remember much of my former human life, but I do know I was an only child.” He looked at you with the same blank face. “Well then…That means you will be learning from scratch…That makes things a bit easier…” He moved the web between his finders, and you were released from the webs. You almost fell on your knees, but he grabbed your hands holding you steady. Suddenly his gaze was no longer just blank rather it felt warm and welcoming. He stood you back up straight and held on to one of your hands. I am Rui…But you soon will be able to call me Big brother…” He stated with his soft tone. “Follow closely now~” He said with a small joyful tone. Barley enough to tell it was there but you caught it. It made you smile a bit yourself. As he began to walk forward, you followed in suit.

He led you to a run-down looking house further into the woods. As you approached it more demons began to show their faces. They all had similar features to his, white skin, red face marks, or some resemblance to a spider and so on. Was this his real family? You thought. Then you were sat at an old table with broken eating utensils, plates, and bowls, all empty and dusty. All the other demons gathered around and sat down all looking at you. No one spoke, no one dared moved out of place. All was silent. He sat in the seat next to you. He had a very faint smile on his face. It made you feel warm inside somehow. You noticed One of the other demons was now holding a bowl of what looked lake water. She held it close to him not making any form of eye contact with him. He Used his small webs in his fingers to cut his own hand, bleeding into the bowl, Turning it all dark red. He then grabbed it from her and held it in front of you.

“As of now…You are a part of this family, when you drink this…My blood…you will be one with us, You will be My little sister.” He handed you the bowl and you looked into it. Seeing yourself as you are now. Your big (E/C) eyes, your soft (S/T) skin, and your (H/L) (H/C) hair flowing in your face. You felt different now it was sudden and strange. He wanted you here, he could protect you, he didn’t have to save you, yet he did. So, you took a final breath before raising the bowl to your lips and drinking his blood. Once done you sat the bowl down in front of you. Looking into it, its now empty and you can no longer see yourself. Then you closed your eyes for what felt like a mere second and all you remember from then…

Is pain

Once the pain went away you opened your eyes to see his hands on your face. He was holding it ever so softly. His hands were cold but that didn’t bother you. You felt safe suddenly. He smiled down at you. “Congratulations You are now a part of our family” you smiled lightly and in the corner of your eye another demon was holding something. He gave it to Rui and he held it up to your face. It was a small slightly broken Mirror. In it you did not see your old self. You saw….Rui. Or was that really you. You looked just like him. Your markings seemed to match up with his, just there were like flipped onto the other side, opposite of his own. Your eyes were the same, yet you lacked in the Kanji he had in his. Your hair was much like his now just much longer. You looked up to him with a small smile on your face. You were part of this family now…you felt safe and warm. He smiled back and grabbed your hand placing one of his small webs around your pinky finger.

“You are now home. You are special and I know it…So I made you into the perfect image… You are now part of me…as my little Twin Sister.” He smiled at you as you did to him. You giggled “is this a pinky promise?” he nodded “pinky promise”

From then on you two were inseparable, you were loyal to him, the string always connected you two and because of this you two hardly ever separated from one another. Darning battled and such he was by your side, that string always being your guide to him. You were with him for many years. He treated you different from the others as well as you did to him. You loved him as he did you. He was your everything as you were to him. You were happy for once in forever.
