The Haunted Heart
My heart is a haunted house in which your spirit still lingers.
Your smile, your laugh and that sweet voice of yours that echoes through the hallway of memories that we shared.
The garden blossoms with flowers you loved best.
The kitchen stocked with recipes you longed to test.
Your poetic spirit still haunts the records we used to dance too.
Your treasured blanket still smells like your sweet flowery scent.
I wanted to love you and now I only love the memories I made with you.

✨Don’t call me beautiful✨
Don’t call me beautiful
cause I look like a weird goat,
Don’t call me beautiful
Cause I know I’m not.
Don’t call me kind
Cause evil consumes my mind.
Don’t call me smart
After all being dense is an art

I suffer from wanderlust
I can’t help but explore the vast metaphorical meaning of earth.
I can’t help solving the puzzles literature gives me.
I can’t help  thinking about being free.
I can’t help wondering what I am worth.
I suffer from wanderlust
A feeling I cannot escape.
I suffer from wanderlust,
An unveiling from a cape.

I wish i was her
I wish I was her.
Pretty eyes,
Good at math
Kind and wise.
She has impeccable fashion sense
and a not so overbearing personality.
She’s everything I want to be.
People talk to her and ignore me.
She’s so utopian and classical,
It all seem’s so magical.
I’ll never be her, will I?

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
A book review:
We were liars is a young adult novel by E. Lockhart and is a real tear jerker. It starts of with main character, Cadence Sinclair Eastman, who talks about her life as a member of a privileged family, The Sinclairs, and the summers she spent on the island, which her grandparents own, with her cousins and love interest.
She labels each summer with her age so on summer 15 an accident takes place in which she suffered injuries that affected her memory and gives her migraines at random times. She talks to her cousins Johnny and Mirren, and the love of her life Gat about her feelings, struggles and recalls memories throughout the book.
Cadence slowly starts remembering the incidents of her accident and realizes a horrible truth. The main themes include family, love, loss, privilege and more.
We were liars takes you through a emotional roller coaster that will destroy and just as Cadence realized the crushing truth, you, the reader will be sobbing. The whole story will take you through a journey which will have you sitting at the edge of your seat. Overall, this book is a solid 5/5 in my book and I 100% recommend it to everyone who loves to read and then cry over books.

Silent time
Oh how time flies, walks, runs and stops.
I recall the last seconds of my life and I reckoned one day I will run out of time. All will end and time will cease.
All will close and time will stop,
Eternal silence. Non-stop.
