Lullaby: Soft moments shared between you and demon slayer characters.

Plot: The character find themselves being sang by you. Either way it’s adorable. Everyone can be romantic or platonic.

Reader: Can sing (just pretend).

I really like “All is found.” From frozen. Leave me alone. And reader in her “fight song” era.

Character: Muichiro Tokito, Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira.

The sheets ruffle as you take a seat on the side of tanjiro’s bed, his arms wrapped up in bandages and a cold rag pressed on his forehead. You looked at him as he just smiled kindly at you. “You can leave. I will be okay.” You wanted to believe that, you wanted to leave him be but your own guilt stopped you from moving.

“Not until you sleep. I know how this can feel” you reach up and move the hair off his face, “Being in a medical bed can be tough.” Offering a smile. He just sighed but happily and defeated because he couldn’t convince you to leave. “I used to be here all the time when I first joined, I had my own bed since I was here every week.” You laughed at yourself and continued to play with his hair.

“There was a sweet old lady named Kokoro. She took care of me most of them time, the woman cared for everyone like her own children.” He hummed underneath you and closed his eyes, still listening but trying to find some peace to drift off. You playing with his hair was calming down a lot. “She used to sing to me, a old song..” you took a breath and smiled.

“Where the north winds met the sea” you sang softly and not to loud. Tanjir opened his eyes to look at you while you closed your own with a smile.

“There a river full of memories” you continue to sing and play with his hair. Tanjiro felt at easy and closed his eyes and enjoyed the moment of your soft voice. It’s been two long since he had someone sing to him, he never thought it would happen again.

Half way through the song you notice his breaths become softer and easier, you knew he was sleeping as he parted his lips. So you slowly stopped and lifted yourself up off the bed as carefully as you could. Leaning down you kiss his forehead.

“Goodnight Tanjiro.” He subconsciously smiled in his sleep.

Zenitsu refused to leave your lap, his arms grabbed ahold of you when you tried to push him away. He just need to be near someone because the mission had scared him to the ends of the earth. It was a horrible nightmare for the squad, you were the only willing to put up with him- Or at first.

But you let him stay because you saw how scared he was, you made him lay back on your lap which he happily did. He blushed when you put a hand in his hair and massaged his scalp, he focused on your warmth and breathing. A blanket tucked over him as he closed his eyes and tried to think calming thoughts.

(You know his language is touch, even if it’s platonic)

“Zenitsu,” your voice rang through his ears and he hummed in return, “Can I sing to you? I know how that can relax someone.” You look down and see his eyes open carefully. His cheeks dusted pink as he nodded and closed his eyes back as a way to hide his embarrassment. But it didn’t help. You chuckled softly at him and let your fingers work in his hair.

You began to sing the lullaby, “Where the north wind meets the sea” he listened carefully and his cheeks just burned brighter. He couldn’t believe you were singing to him, to help him sleep. You had a nice voice and sounded soothing.

He relaxed himself and focused on the lyrics and tried not to think of anything else but you, your voice and the hand in his hair. Slowly he drifted deep and deeper into sleep until it took over his body.

Seeing a bubble coming from his noses made you try and not laugh but you found it adorable. If you hadn’t had stayed with him he wouldn’t have been able to sleep and you knew that. So now he is carefree and getting the rest he needs. It filled you with pride.

You pulled him off you carefully and onto the pillow but he put up good fight, until you finally handed him your own pillow and he cuddled that into his body. You smiled and patted his head and got yourself up and headed to bed yourself knowing everyone was asleep.

This wasn’t on his agenda for the night, he wanted to go back to the mansion but you had dragged him in to a dang safe house. He was hurt, and he was tired. So he stayed but kept quiet, until you wouldn’t leave the room while he laid down.

“Why aren’t you leaving?” He turned to see you smile and set down your our own bed things, “I wouldn’t be able to sleep without knowing your safe.” He blinked at you confused until he remembered what had happened on the mission. The two of you got separated which he didn’t think about but you did, looking for him far and wide and got panicked when you didn’t see him.

He remembered you pulling in into a hug and crying about how you thought he was dead or hurt. He was confused at the time and still is confuse why you care so much. “I’m fine.” He closes his eyes and took a deep breath. You look at him and seat yourself down in the sheets and sighed.

It was a few seconds of silence until you started to sing and his eyes shot wide and looked over at you. His eyes the same look as they aways have and he just stared at you. Poor boy was like “👀” in his bed roll. You just turned to him and smiled very sweetly and continued.

He oddly liked your voice and how your song sounded. He couldn’t help but close his own eyes and enjoy the song you sang and just drift to sleep. It was calming and comforting for him.

Maybe you joining his mission weren’t so bad.

This big dummy was so startled the first time you sang him, especially while he was trying to sleep. It was after a mission of course and even if he didn’t want to admit it, he was worried you would be taken. Or die in the middle of the night. The events of the day had him spiraling when he saw you almost get beaten and thrown around.

So you two shared a room and it was comfortable because even though he snores, you were glad he would allow you to.

Inosuke was laying down and his mouth opened and ready to fall asleep. Until he hears your voice start to sing, and down pretty. He shot up so fast, “What the hell are you doing? I’m trying to sleep.” He shouted adt you laughed and stopped. “I like to sing before I go to bed, do you have a song you want?”

He blinked at you and growled, “Just shut up.” But you just laughed and sit back and ignored his wishes and continue to sing. He stayed there for a minute while his eyes twitched, you just ignored him. It pissed him off.

The sound of your voice echoed through the room and his ear’s listening for a minute made his mind stopped for a minute. Why the hell did he feel fuzzy? Why was your singing making him feel different? You looked over him and see his gaze just soften and staring at you, not angry or anything like he normally was. But I’m admiration.

“Come here.” You open your arms for him. Inosuke rolled his eyes and you saw a blush form on his cheeks, “Whatever.” He mumbled trying to get his dignity intact. He pulled his bed closer to yours and lays his head on your chest.

You put your hand in his hair and sang to him, a old song telling a story to make him happy. Inosuke felt calm like this. He wondered how you could just do this to him? Where you a demon with magic to calm him down? Or did you just care, like tanjiro but better?

Whenever it was he was happy to be in your arms.

KNY HCs - A Surprise Kiss! (Hashiras + Kamado Crew) Part 1

Prompt: You give them a kiss unexpectedly; how do they react, when they like you back?

A/N: This is Part 1! This part includes Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Rengoku, Giyuu, Shinobu, and Sanemi. Next part will include the rest of the Hashira, Nezuko, and Genya.

Some of these have implied less-fluffy notes, but nothing explicit/over the top.

Tanjiro

Let's be honest, he would internally be a mess. He would try hiding it, but his face would flush and give himself away. He would hastily touch the spot you kissed him (whether his cheek, lips, forehead, etc.), eyes beaming.

"S-Sorry, I wasn't expecting that...!" Unprompted, he would take you by the wrist if you were trying to walk away," W-Wait!!! Let me return the favor!!!" Mentally, it's like you're proposing to him. This boy takes you and your love VERY seriously!!!

One kiss becomes MANY. He isn't overtly the PDA type, but makes it his goal to sneak up or surprise you with it every once in a while. Especially before big missions.

He becomes more protective of you, like Nezuko, and always makes the time to kiss you good morning, and kiss you goodnight. It's a routine that he will live by, and love by, as long as he can have you. Domestic vibes, for sure.

Zenitsu

Let's be for real: you already know what happens. But let's get into it anyway:

Similar to Tanjiro, he goes to touch the spot you kissed him at," Ehh?? Ehhh?? Y/N-san??? Was that real-- just now?!" He's stammering, blushing vibrantly. You may have to kiss him again just to keep him from spiraling with questions.

He would be a mess under your kisses/touch. He would be all over you in a SECOND, clinging to your arm, his arms wrapped around your waist: anyway he can be close/touching you, he will. He makes it his mission to never leave your side again.

He becomes heavily protective of you: to the point he has "The Talk" with Tanjiro and Inosuke. He'd be warning them that if they try to make a move: he'd kill them (all jokes... for SURE). He's spunky and fiery, but as soon as you get a hold of him, he's putty in your hands.

Inosuke

He gets a far off look on his face, before snapping back to reality," WHAT WAS THAT?!"

You'd have to explain it properly for it to sink in. And even then, it may take a few times for it to really click. He would have to talk through it, OUT LOUD, even if other people were around.

"So it's not an attack; it's meant to be a good gesture... Friends don't normally do it, but there is a stage ABOVE friends that do all the time... it's disarming, but it's STILL not an attack or a way to parry..." Inosuke would grab you by the shoulders, shaking you.

"TEACH ME MORE!!! IT MAY NOT BE AN ATTACK, BUT IT CAN STILL BE USED IN BATTLE!!! THEY'D NEVER SEE ME COMIN--'"

You explain that the boar mask would have to come off for that to be effective. Then his resilience would deflate, but he'd get the picture. Can't go around kissing demons...

But he DOES do it to you. It becomes a game to him. Almost like rough housing/fighting... Whenever you're in a compromising position, whenever you're doing chores or tasks, even before a big mission: Inosuke always surprises you with a kiss.

Again, one becomes many... and soon enough he deduces that there's a reason you only kiss him... so in return, he'll save his kisses for you.

Rengoku

His large eyes, normally unblinking and brilliant, twitch. He would blink a moment or two, looking up/down to you.

"Ahh! Thank you, friend! That is very sweet!" You would have to explain that you had feelings that stemmed PAST friendship.

"...OH. Ohh, goodness... well-- nothing is more valuable than companionship. I am honored that you've considered me."

He would wrap his arms around you so quickly, spin you around and kiss you deeply.

"Allow me to choose you, too!! I choose... to be with you!!!" Be careful. Similar to Tanjiro, it almost feels like a proposal. 

He would usually be his normal self around you, but would go out of his way to kiss you. Especially before big missions or summons. He would make the time to see you and be with you, even if it was a detriment to himself. Whenever he kisses you, he locks you in somehow: by a hug, a two-handed caress of your face, or even by locking his legs around you... (This last part is mostly if he's sitting down)

Like it or not, his kisses are as fiery as his spirit: it's VERY easy to get worked up for the both of you. It's like Lays: you can't have just ONE.

Giyuu

Similar to Rengoku, he would be taken by surprise. You would see his eyebrow move slightly, or his eyes widen a touch. Even with him being super dense emotionally, the dots connect for him instantly.

"O-Ohh..." More than usual, he's basically speechless. But leave it to him to practically sweep you off your feet with a kiss in return. He takes it seriously.

You started it. And now he won't let you go a day without at least a few kisses, heated or tame.

Much like Inosuke, he would go out of his way to find you and kiss you. But unlike some of the others, he won't shy away from doing it in front of others. He doesnt give a FUCK if they see, make fun of you two, etc. A kiss is a kiss, and hes gonna have one with you whether they care or not.

Some think it's on purpose, to show the other Hashira that he has friends AND more. But Giyuu is just REALLY touch starved. And he REALLY likes you.

His kisses are intense, especially before a big trip or mission. It's hard not to get into something more when he comes for you. He practically makes your legs give out, and he has held you the few times they have.

His kisses are dangerous. Be careful with this one. Especially if you aren't alone...

Shinobu

"Hmm? Did you need something--"

When you kiss her, she wordlessly kissing you back, smiling," Ahh~ you're so sweet, Y/N-san!"

At first, she thinks you're just overly friendly or affectionate (similar to Mitsuri). But she starts to get it once it starts to happen more often.

Her kisses are interesting. She kisses you places that are a bit off-kilter. The knuckles on your hands, the tip of your nose, close to a spot where she had to stick/poke you for blood.... she kisses you most everywhere, but hardly ever on your lips.

She's not the type to show PDA: she'll hardly ever do it. But when she does want to kiss you directly, she's making excuses to sneak you away and do it privately. It's a very intimate thing for her, and she doesnt want to feel prying eyes. It's hard for her, especially at the Butterfly Estate, but she warms up to you and PDA after a while.

Her kisses are featherlight. And though few and far between, she makes them count.

Sanemi

"...what're you on about--?"

Oh. Oh shit.

When the kiss ends, the air immediately becomes tense. Heat rises in his face and ears almost instantly, as he takes you by your wrist. If you're not already in a private place, he takes you to one and nearly slams you against a wall.

"...what're you trying to play at here?" Similar to Inosuke and Rengoku, you'd have to explain yourself. While his body language is guarded and on the offensive, the blush betrays him. He's smitten. He's ALWAYS been smitten. But hearing your words and the way you say them really nails in the fact that you aren't joking, and that you're not trying to get him embarrassed or anything. You GENUINELY like him.

Similar to Giyuu, his kisses are dangerous. Which is why they're usually received or given in private. He HAS held you up before because his kisses can get pretty steamy. But he's also given you kisses so sincere and sweet that it makes you relax enough to fall asleep with your head on his shoulder.

He's a man of many words and actions: most of which are aggressive or crass. But he saves the nicest things for you when you're alone.

But be wary: if it's been a while since your last kiss, especially due to missions: just know it's coming. And when it does, it'll be REALLY hard to stop.

A/N: I love gifting ppl plants. I love when they tell me it's doing good, and I love it when they tell me they accidentally killed it. I love how it shows so much and so little about a person.

𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐉𝐈𝐑𝐎 𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐎

-When he sees the small pot in your hand he bows low in thanks, a small content smile on his face.

-He begins to admire it, gently stroking the leaves gently and asking you an abundance of questions on how to take care of it correctly.

-Follows your instructions to the tee, and carefully measures out the exact amount of water, squinting his eye so it lines up perfectly on the cup.

-Panics when one of the leaves falls offs off and immediately runs up to you with a distressed look on his face. Only calms down when he realizes it happens naturally.

-Prioritizes it because he believes its health represents your relationship with him.

-Overall: 9/10

𝐙𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐒𝐔 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐀

-Freaks out, a massive blush on his face. Almost drops the pot immediately the second you place it into his hands. 

-Names it, Y/N Jr. 

-Pretends its his and your child.

-Brings it everywhere with him and fantasizes about you, Y/N Jr, and him, all skipping through the woods.

-One day he was running over to you, plant in hand, and trips and falls, dropping the plant. The two of you stare at the broken, damaged plant, in shock, before he starts screaming and panicking about how he “killed his child.”

-Holds a dramatic ass funeral.

-You secretly replanted the small plant, that was NOT dead, in the woods because you knew he was too obsessed and this was the only way.

-Overall: 7/10

𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐀

-Throws the pot in the air immediately after it lands in his hand. He thought you were making fun of him for buying something so small and fragile.

-You caught it and had to explain to him that you were NOT teasing him, but giving him a gift.

-Calls it useless and ignores you when you explain how to take care of it.

-He’s not a dumbass he is the king of the mountains for crying out loud he has seen and knows how plants work.

-Decides to make to turn it into the biggest plant ever just to show you.

-Has to replace the pot multiple times in little time, and you swore he was carrying a straight tree

-He was determined to keep it for a while, placing the massive pot on his back, and having to hunch forward just to move. He had to plant it in the woods when he couldn’t grab his swords quickly enough in battle.

-He pretends that it didn’t make him upset.

-Overall: 10/10

𝐊𝐘𝐎𝐉𝐔𝐑𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐎𝐊𝐔

-Picks you up and twirls you around when he saw the plant, yelling out “THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT.” Causing the poor plant to shake from the sound

-Takes careful notes on what to do

-Doesn’t listen.

-Reasons with himself, that more water, means more love, means a bigger plant!

-Overwaters it and kills it. He avoids you for a couple of days, upset with himself.

-Presents you with an empty pot and apologizes, frown on his usually smiling face.

-You buy him another and monitor how much he waters it. He absolutely adores it.

-Overall: 4/10

𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐔𝐙𝐔𝐈

-Pats your head with a grin and takes it, a little confused as to why it’s not as flashy as your usual gifts, but still loves it non the less.

-Your three wives grab it immediately and take it upon themselves to take care of it, cooing over how pretty it is.

-They do a good job of taking care of it, but Tengen feels bad for not doing any of the work.

-So, he buys you multiple rose bushes in every single color you could think of. They now decorate your backyard, and you and the other girls love it. He tilts his head high and huffs to himself, knowing that it was the perfect mix of flashy and realistic.

-Overall: 6/10

𝐆𝐈𝐘𝐔𝐔 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐎𝐊𝐀

-No emotion when you handed it to him. He stared at it and then at you for some time without saying anything.

-Immediately takes it out, digs a hole, and places it in the hole. Mother Earth will take care of it now. 

-Nods to himself and leads you, and your completely shocked face, away from the plant.

-Overall: 1/10

Hello! I would like to make a request please

Zenitsu, Shinobu, and Kyojuro (all platonic) x transmasc reader - who is a strong, fearless, fearsome, feral slayer (think Inosuke but on steroids and a bit more civilized/calm)

“Sure anon! I really like this idea actually (and will put my full effort into this because of how much I like it)!

Genre: Fluff/Platonic (x transmac reader)

Summary: How they first reacted to first seeing you, what they thought of you when they first saw your fighting capabilities, and how they are with you casually

Note: He (the reader) wield two katanas and a claymore on their back (with a sheath ofc)

- You both first met when you were assigned to the same mission.Will give the same treatment with everybody else (with respect and kindness unless you don’t do the same). Otherwise he does his best to get on your good side because he surely finds you interesting and someone strong in disguise! -  He usually will most definitely prioritize your safety over his if he does see you struggle in fighting; or at least that’s what he first thought!

“Damn it where are these demons already?! LET ME FIGHT YOU!” You roared and speed through the forest, chopping down large trees, trying to find them. As Kyojuro calmly yet attentively walks towards you he laughs. “Hahahaha! You’re quite the interesting one! I doubt they’d try to come near us if they knew we were here though-” A sharp gust of wind hits, making both of you facing eachother’s back; having him to slowly withdraw his sword. As the breeze kicks up from around you and Kyojuro, it suddenly stops. You both stand in silence for a moment. “OH COME ON!!! AND I THOUGHT I WAS FINALLY GOING TO FIGHT SOMETHING!” You kick a nearby tree, leaving a large dent on it. “Was that really nothing?” Kyojuro thought to himself. As he was about to relax a bit a large preying mantis-like demon swoops downs to attack him. A large cloud of dust overwhelms his eyes for a moment with his ears hear the sound of hissing; then seeing that you blocked the attack with your katanas. “FINALLY SOMETHING TO KILL!” Chuckling in excitement you forcibly push the demon away using the same katanas to block it, hitting it towards a tree. “GO TO HELL!” You quickly unsheath your claymore and throw it to the demon, causing it to screech in pain, being stuck on the tree for a moment before cutting its head off. More demons rapidly start popping out, tailing you however being slain by Kyojuro. “I’ve got your back Y/N!” As the demons multiply you yell at him in rage. “I DON’T NEED IT ASSHOLE!” Causing you slash and make a number of demons die from throwing your claymore again and slashing the ones you didn’t get with your katanas. 

- Consider you getting Kyojuro’s respect CLAIMED after that mission (and not like you never had his respect, you just gained more from him)! - Will check on you any time both of your are not on a mission and not busy. If you like food he will definitely feed you well (either from street food or his cooking)! Anything you like you definitely will be given from him some point in your life! >:) - He will definitely annoy you when you’re doing something dangerous or risky socially or in public. 

“Are you and Kyojuro dating?”  A demonslayer asks you, causing you to be pissed off, yet trying to keep your composure. “No??? What makes you think that?” “Well you guys spend way too much time together in public. Do you like him?” That immediately causes you to snap, cornering them and punching the wall; making a large hole in it. “NO WAY IN HELL!!!” The demon slayer shivers in fear making them slightly sweat but they whisper, “Yeah no wonder...nobody would like a loud woman like you...” That demonslayer was going to die today. “Loud...WOMAN?!?!” As you were about to choke that guy out Kyojuro was luckily there on time to barely pull you away and save them. “I HOPE YOU DIE YOU MOTHERF*CKER!!” You shout to them, pulling up the middle finger. 

- Kyojuro definitely took you to management anger classes after that (and kept trying to make you feel more like a man after that incident).

- Honestly thought of you being a guy with brawns and no brains (and she’s prob right).  -You both met from being demonslayer patrollers for the city to be safe (though to be honest she should be protecting the city from you). Often times you accidentally wreck street vendors carts from you tripping and trying to hold onto something (which was that) or running into someone and they get knocked out (which victims claim its like being hit by a bull). - Will definitely try to see how resistant you are to poison if you piss her off or cause too much trouble for her (through feeding you it or ‘sparing’ with you). She wishes to just choke you out at times but obviously cant because you’re too strong for her to die by her hands. - Usually she doesn’t get picked on by weird dudes (due to her obviously wielding a katana) but there are definitely times where it’s drunk guys.

As you yawn and stretch walking in the city at night with Shinobu, you ask her, “What are we doing here again?” You sigh, being slightly tired and bored. “They’ll always be demons that pretend to be human in disguise, thus it’s natural that demonslayers need to patrol in big cities like these.” She walks with her hands behind her back. “Ahh...But don’t you think it’s way to crowded to do that- though...?” You turn to her yet don’t see her trying your best not to make the crowd worried that you’re frantically trying to search for Shinobu. As an old  drunk man yanks her into an alleyway; he excitedly smells her before she can push him off, causing him to lose balance and slump to the floor. “You smell so, so, so nice, little lady.” He slowly gets up, slowly approaching her again as he drools. Shinobu does the opposite of what he does and backs away, observing him and noticing he has a nasty blob growing and pulsing in a bright red color in the side of his head; finally reaching the end of wall he tries to lure her back to his touch. “Can you take me home...? I’m a bit drunk so I need help-” “DAMN...PERVERT!” You run towards him and punch him a bit too hard, almost entirely wrecking the wall he was hit upon. Shinobu sweats a bit in worry for the man, thinking he was human before he melts into a sludge as if it was a clone with the blob on his head exploding, melting the ground and radiating the same red color from the head he had.  “Eww... that totally will be engraved in my brain for a good while...” You look in disgust before seeing a demon that has half of his face being handsome while the other side is sloppy and pulled down from the same blob but on his sagging cheek, wearing what seems to be an expensive suit frowning at you both.  “Another ugly ass b*tch ready to get their ass whooped again?” You chuckle at the demon but once you blink Shinobu had poisoned the demon, succumbing to it. “Already??? BUT I WANTED TO FIGHT MOREE!” You groan and sulk in disappointment as Shinobu slightly laughs to your whining.

-Will definitely point out tips to help your skills to get better and if you want her to train you she will! - She will train you by doing surprise attacks where she just run towards or sneak attacks you (but only with her katana, she only uses poison on special occasions :) 

“Happy birthday Y/N!” Your friends from the demon corp. surprise you with your favorite flavored cake. “Aww thank you guys! I’m so happy you did this for me!” Chopping up a large piece of cake onto your plate, you use your fork to pick it up and shove the entire piece into your mouth. “Now that I think of a surprise party...” You think to yourself, “Doesn’t someone else do something like that...?” You slowly chew the cake before being reminded of who. You then accidentally swallow your cake from the realization, triggering you to choke on it while frantically searching around for Shinobu; but before you could even look behind you, she cuts a part of your neck (where its not fatal ofc) with her poison on the sword. “DAMN IT!!! WHY’D IT HAVE TO BE THE SAME SPOT IM CHOKING OHn- cOuUGH- CoOugH- ” You cough on the ground in pain and agony of the poison and cake being lumped together in your throat as Shinobu smiles. (Surprisingly you don’t die and cough out the cake but pissed it was wasted)

-Other than the near to death experiences she puts you in, she vouches for you alot if you cause problems!  -Will give you rewards if you dodge or block her surprise attacks (and you’re usually rewarded handsomely) Wanted that box of instant ramen from the store? She’ll buy a years worth of it. Someone doesn’t treat you well? Expect them to be apologizing the next day! -She may be an extra tough and killer mom on you but believe me when you’re important to her! 

-Definitely thinks of you of as a muscle head from the amount of strength you have (and that you’re sent to kill him with your strength too). -Bro cannot keep eye contact with you and will constantly look away and towards you when doing so because he’s that terrified. -You both first met when he was on a mission by himself and was scared shitless when you suddenly appeared (would surely piss himself too if you didn’t calm him down and say you were a part of the demon corp.) - Zenitsu is quite literally picked on by everyone so once you vouched and protected him he will use and depend on you like you’re his only weapon.  “Do we seriously have to be with this scaredy cat?” The demonslayer laughs and pushes Zenitsu with his shoulder as they walk. “Stop that...” He complains as he rubs that same shoulder he was nudged with. “Then stop acting like a baby! The entire time getting here you kept complaining and whining! Maybe you should let the adults do this. Right Y/-” As you hit a tree nearby, you cause an apple to fall and hit the demonslayers head. “Quiet already. If anything you keep babbling. Damn loser.” “Haha right...sorry-” As Zenitsu notices your act for him as he stares at you with thankful eyes before seeing the same demon slayer being thrown into a tree branch and you blocking it’s attack. “GET OUT OF THE WAY, DUMBASS!” You hollar at him before glancing behind you and seeing he fainted on a tree. In attempt you tried  to push back the bear-like demon with your swords but as you were busy looking back, causing your katanas were thrown back. “DAMN IT! DAMN YOU FOR MAKING THINGS HARDER FOR ME!!” You screamed at him while dodging its attacks before deciding to punch the demon, moving back a bit farther from where Zenitsu was, now able for you to use your claymore. “DIE!!!” You exclaimed as you cut off its head with the claymore. As you sweat from the slightly extra effort you had to put you notice the same demonslayer shriek, being wrapped up in a cocoon from a group of demons. “COME ON!” Screaming in annoyance and bait, you jumped on the tree right earlier that Zenitsu slain them in surprising speed. “And I thought I was gonna kill more demons... ughhhh...” You sigh and slouch in disappointment.

- Despite you yelling almost all the time you’ve spent with him, he’s used to it now at this point (and is now annoyed and deaf from it) though there’s a few times he does get scares but just exaggerates it purposely to make you feel SLIGHTY bad. - WILL SERIOUSLY TRY TO BRING YOU TO EVERY MISSION HE HAS (He tries to bargain and make deals with you so he won’t need to do anything and spend time with Nezuko) saying its for a ‘good cause’.  - Says he’ll invite you to his future wedding and make you his wingman (he’s half assing that promise to you definitely)

“PLEASEEE COME WITH ME TO MY NEXT MISSION Y/NNN!!” Zenistu tries and whines to convince you as he’s sitting on one of your legs with your attempt to shake him off. “GET OFF ME YOU DAMN PEST! AND I THOUGHT THERE WAS NOTHING MORE ANNOYING THAN A ROACH!” Finally free’ing yourself from his grip he hits the wall, knocking him out cold (with a bit of blood on the wall) for a couple minutes before attempting to spar with you asleep to convince you. “I SHOULD’VE NEVER SAVED YOUR ASS FROM THAT FORESTT!!!” You complain as you keep blocking him from his speedy attacks.

-Other than his annoying sessions of him begging and whining over his requests being listened on deaf ears, you both usually get along surprisingly. -He knows what pisses you off so he knows what to try and avoid most of the time. -You usually either piggyback him when both of you feel like it and by the shoulder if he’s in serious trouble and needs to get away using you as his uber.

The Kamaboko Squad at the Gym

Tanjiro:

This boy didn't even think about going to the gym until he and his siblings started to get bullied, and now he's there in all his free time. Tanjiro was active before, but now he focuses on endurance and strength so he can be the Ultimate Big Brother and protect everyone, even if he hates conflict. Everyone at the gym loves him- employees and other gym goers alike. His bright attitude and kind demeanor brighten the whole atmosphere of the place, and he has mediated fights between some of the other gym goers to keep the peace. He wears loose joggers, and sometimes tight athletic wear with loose basketball shorts and t-shirts over them. Will drink protein shakes but only if they smell good.

Nezuko:

Started going to the gym with Tanjiro because she wanted to be able to protect herself and others too. She looks harmless but has been doing weight training and is able to lift as much as her brother is, although her lower body is undoubtedly stronger than Tanjiro's. Nezuko loves hanging out with Mitsuri at the gym when she's there and will drop her workout plans for the day to do whatever Mitsuri is doing that day. Doesn't drink protein shakes or pre-workout, but brings her pink water bottle everywhere, and will add cucumbers and mint leaves to it. Nezuko prefers to wear leggings with shorts over them, and tank tops with a jacket that she can remove when she gets overheated. Tanjiro has to remind her to put her hair up when she's working out, since Nezuko has a habit of leaving it down.

Zenitsu:

Only goes to the gym because his grandpa made him, and because there are girls there. He spends half his time whining and following Nezuko and Tanjiro around, but when he can be convinced to actually work out, he's a beast on the treadmills. This boi can sprint like nobody's business (he's got to be able to run fast to get away from all of the people who want to wring his neck for being a creep at the gym). Zenitsu *can* do weights, but the groans and whines that consistently escape his mouth while doing so irritate everyone in the vicinity. Zenitsu drinks pre-workout but not protein shakes (says protein makes him gassy).

Inosuke:

Goes to the gym because he genuinely enjoys it. The desire to be the best at everything make him pretty well rounded when it comes to working out: Inosuke has done a bit of everything. He is loud and frequently found challenging or demeaning others. Tanjiro's intervention and supervision in the only reason he hasn't been kicked out of the gym completely, especially after he was found in the wrong locker room (Tanjiro believes he was sincere when he said he didn't realize there were segregated changing areas; Zenitsu did not). Inosuke will eat or drink anything you give him, and *will* steal other people's drinks. He refuses to wear a shirt and it's a fight to make him take off his mask.

Genya:

Wanted to be strong like his brother, and so started showing up to the gym, only to realize he liked the atmosphere. He's incredibly shy, but has a scary face, so people tend to leave him alone. Tanjiro is not one of those people and greets Genya every time he sees him at the gym. Genya sticks to a routine of rotating weights and cardio and wears loose athleisure clothing at the gym. Drinks protein shakes and occasionally pre-workout.

Kanao:

Shows up to the gym, does her workout, and leaves. No one has ever heard her say a word, and her headphones usually are on full blast (heavy metal or pop music; very little in between). She wears shorts and a long sleeve zip-up to work out in and tends to stay on the treadmills and stair steppers. Drinks water only.

Tamayo:

Works the check-in desk at the gym. Knows everyone by name, and can tell you pretty much everyone's workout schedule. Always has tea on hand. Has never been seen working out, but despite this has physically thrown out men twice her size.

Yuishiro:

Also works at the gym. He's Tamayo's coworker and assists with keeping things clean and orderly, as well as checking people in. Anyone who gives Tamayo the slightest inkling of a hard time gets the stink-eye from Yuishiro, and a spot on his shit-list.

Big Sibling Headcanons (Demon Slayer)

Tanjiro

Either you somehow survived the attack while Tanjiro was away, or you were turned into a demon just like Nezuko.

Either way, he would be protective since the two of you are the only family he has left.

If you managed not to get turned into a demon, you would become a demon slayer like your older brother.

He would be hesitant about it, but also relieved that you would also be able to defend yourself.

You both promise to turn Nezuko back into a human.

If you were also turned into a demon, Tanjiro would swear to turn both you and Nezuko back into humans.

You and your sister would both be in the box since both of you are able to shrink.

Tanjiro would be protective, even if you were a demon.

He would blame himself if you or Nezuko ended up getting injured.

Zenitsu

Zenitsu and you had always stuck by each other's side.

When he was forced to train to be a demon slayer, you decided to join him.

And both of you ended up getting struck by lightning, so you both ended up with blond hair.

He's grateful that you haven't left his side.

But he also worries about you.

Zenitsu tries his best to protect you, but a lot of the time, you end up saving him.

Which he's more than grateful for.

Of course, there are moments when he saves you.

You always support him and make him feel better when he's down.

When the two of you meet Tanjiro and Inosuke, he gets really protective.

Inosuke

The two of you had been raised in the mountains together.

Due to this, Inosuke became really protective over you.

He decided to become a demon slayer on a whim, and you did the same, not wanting to leave his side.

The two of you made an amazing team.

You always tried to get him to stop being so aggressive.

But it didn't really work.

The only person he calmed down around, was you.

Not that Inosuke would ever admit that.

He would be super protective when it came to boys.

Especially Zenitsu, who asked you to marry him as soon as the two of you met.

Giyu

Giyu has lost everyone he loved in his life.

Everyone except you, his little sister.

Due to this, he became super protective and didn't want you to become a demon slayer.

So while he went to the final selection, you stayed with Urokadaki.

You were so relieved when he came back alive, and he was happy to see you again.

You started to live with him when he became a Hashira, and he finally let you train to be a demon slayer, as long as it was him who trained you.

Though he was hesitant, he was proud to see you do so well.

Though he feared you would die during the final selection.

To Giyu's relief, you came back alive.

He would still train you, wanting you to become stronger.

You insist on having a haori like his.

Which brings a smile to his face.

Shinobu

You are the youngest of the three in your family.

You, Shinobu, and Kanae had always been close.

So it devastated both you and Shinobu when Kanea died.

From then on she promised to protect both you and Kanao.

She didn't want to lose anybody else.

She trains both you and Kanao to be demon slayers.

Shinobu is always proud to watch the two of you grow stronger.

Though she always worried about your safety.

If a boy ever approaches you, she will just stare at him, a smile on her face that is sure to scare them off.

Kamaboko Squad

You first met Tanjiro and Nezuko during the Hashiras’ meeting. You saw how Tanjiro was telling the truth. You felt bad for the siblings, after all you would’ve done the same.

After you heard that they were at Butterfly Mansion you went there to visit them. You were pleased to hear that they recovered well. You met Zenitsu and Inosuke.

Zenitsu started being a pervert with you until you made it clear you were there to check on Tanjiro. Him yelling at Tanjiro. He stopped when he realized you cared for him like a mom. Everytime he sees you he hugs you a cries and complains about something. You just listen carefully and tell him your take care of it or offer him advice. 

Inosuke always yelled “FIGHT ME” when he saw you. You would always tell him “I can’t fight you but I can help you improve”. He would sometimes train with you. You always complimented what he improved on and what he could improve on. He always get the bubbly feeling. You always bring food for him as a reward for training. 

Tanjiro always trains which worries you. You always make sure he is sleeping well. Tanjiro greatly appreciates it. Always thanking you when you bring him food. You offer Tanjiro extra training with you. Which again he thanks you and takes you up for the offer. You always fuss over his well being thinking he takes his training too far. You often suggest for him to take a break and be a kid. After all he didn’t have much of childhood after his family died.

Nezuko loves you and always loves being around you. When you visit she refuses to let you go. You remind of her mom. You always bring sweets for her. You give her advice on being well a female. Since you were older you has more life experience then she did. Nezuko gets sad when you have to leave.

tanjiro loves trick or treating! and probably does both sides, giving candy out first and going out with all his siblings in costume later!

he's the oldest after all and watching all of them takes priority.

so probably really prepared, with gloves and scarves if anyone gets too cold. and of course, knows the best streets to go down for candy.

usually gives all his candy away to younger kids out at night, his siblings pick out their favorite and so do his friends.

he doesn't mind of course but tries to secretly hide any candy apples he's gotten.

really good at corn mazes, like runs out and completes it in two minutes

she loves the costumes and ends up with too many to choose from.

really likes lollipops, especially if they're cherry flavored or have caramel centers!

she gets cold if she stays out long and doesn't usually wear big sweaters or anything because they ruin the look of her costume.

but also watches out for her younger siblings!

probably the one to start the 'trick-or-treat' if her siblings are too shy

a bit jumpy but i think she'd laugh more when she's scared.

very superstitious, hates black cats and the scariest parts of halloween. [ like the extreme costumes some people wear ]

probably dresses up as a white sheet ghost. [ under the safety of a blanket ]

hates haunted houses. if you manage to drag him into one, he'll cry the whole way and use anyone as a shield until he's out.

he likes candy though, and will brave the monster-ridden streets for some [ only after tanjiro refuses to share his candy ]

usually just wants to see nezuko's costume(s)

but i think he likes decorating the house with classic halloween decorations like cotton spiderwebs, and pumpkin carving.

isn't too good at it but he takes his time to detail it.

okay, literally a halloween maniac. counting down each day until the spookiest night of the year.

will probably dress as him too, probably not a quiet michael myers but he loves it

but doesn't go out until it passes the 'is it scary enough test?' [ where he puts on his costume on early and terrifies anyone he sees. . . zenitsu ]

candy hoarder and will not share. in fact, he brings a big garbage bag and hauls that around until its stuffed.

scares little kids for their sweets.

sugar crashes hard, like he's face down on the couch twitching.

doesn't usually wear a costume, at most probably a mask but she's a good person to wear matching costumes with.

inosuke persuades her to wear a jason voorhees mask and carry a plastic machete.

usually goes out with her older siblings but when she goes with the group, she has a strict curfew.

trick-or-treats efficiently and effectively.

likes eating her candy along the way, mostly the chocolates and some of the lollipops.

chocolates aren't too sweet, and she likes all the different kinds of flavors halloween seems to come up with.

when she comes home her older sisters actually sneak a few full bars into her bag.

doesn't dress up or have a costume.

but when he goes out [ with his siblings or the group ] people just assume he's scary looking enough to give him candy.

his siblings usually weed out the good candy from his bag.

he doesn't like sweets to begin with but because they take the good stuff i think he's prone to like the 'gross' flavors. like those weird marshmallows, black licorice and candy corn.

but! he does have a soft spot for caramel.

doesn't mind haunted houses or 'scary' movies, but he does possess the 'fight' reaction when it comes to 'fight or flight'.

so will [ and has ] knocked out someone in the haunted house when his siblings begged him to go.
