just started playing the original legend of zelda and. man this game is wild I have no clue where I'm supposed to go or where anything is but I somehow completed a dungeon (???) and I'm perpetually one hit away from dying

(THE REFS ARE NOW OUTDATED! i have revised them since and i'm planning to publish the ones with minor changes once i finish all my designs for the zeldas + ilia :D)

three weeks ago i woke up in a cold sweat for a link meets link au based off me and my friend’s shitpost au ( @thelinkconvention ) where they’re all just scruffy teens who barely have a grasp on anything and suddenly they’re forced to cope together after their latest adventures. so meet the link convention: outdoors edition! i probs wont be doing much with this other than maybe write a fic if i’m free LMAO

this is a personal project so i apologize for any missing links (pun intended) since i haven’t seen all of the games yet!

edit: after completing tears of the kingdom rune’s info is kinda outdated but just imagine he looks the same except older (and another spoiler detail i won’t disclose)

Art for Minish Cap and Zelda (1986) Links. The Minish Cap clothes are loosely based off of the Byzantine Empire/Eastern Rome, and Zelda (1986) boy... Well, you can kinda guess he stole them.

Designs are associated with their older forms from my AU "That Broken Promise." Yes, Minish was once a very normal Hylian child.

Since so many of you seemed to like my Zelda I doodle so much I decided to draw a full body doodle of her

I kept her design simple like her OG one and I also relied a lot on her first color palette, only changing it very slightly from Zelda II's

I also took inspiration from some of the other Zelda designs. Mostly from ALttP, ALbW, OoT and TP. Since she was the Zelda who came after the Zelda from ALbW, I wanted her to still retain some of those design details that those Zeldas before her had
