sometimes I remember how I was bullied about my terrible acne in high school and middle school by everyone, including my own bio parents. “you should wash your face more” was a very common line. like mate, I think if the issue was my personal hygiene, that’d be easy to fix. I even briefly got prescription medication to try to fix my skin but not even that worked plus my parents never took me to a doctor after that. not even for like other things like my messed up spine that still makes unsettling noises when I try to do a curl up and my messed up jaw that hurts sometimes for no reason. in hindsight the jaw thing might be from when he hit me in the head because he got angry

did I ever mention my father stole most of my money from me and threw away all my things when I ran away for like a day or two. for a solid while I was wearing the same exact clothes every fucking day because I didn’t have any money to buy clothes and what little money I had was being spent on the most minimal amount of food I could afford. Once I finally escaped from my parents, I gained like 25 pounds in a few months. And then I binge ate because idk. These days, I’m trying not to overeat anymore and lose some weight.

Me: actually Padmé was right, because while she gave birth to twins, neither of them were raised by Anakin and Padme, and when Luke and Leia learned about their bio-parents, only Luke ever called himself their kid.

Leia is an adult with agency and values who does not consider Anakin anything other than a genetic donor, and would actually hate for the person who tortured her and helped kill her parent and destroy her planet to be considered her father.

Genuinely the lack of respect for the concept of her adoptive parents being her actual parents, and the insistence that she gets all her traits from Anakin and Padme is incredibly weird. (Not aimed at AUs where Anakin is not a deadbeat fascist, write on). With Luke, Beru and Owen are so often erased from his story as though he was just always casting about for family—like he didn’t already have one—it’s insane. Like yeah he called them his uncle and aunt, but they were the people who raised him. Emotionally and logistically the roles they filled were those of parents.

This is for the other Double Agent Vader fans, but genuinely one of my favourite things about those stories is that they take the Organas seriously as Leia’s parents while allowing Anakin to also be important to her. They also take seriously that Luke lost Beru and Owen and was, yk, also still grieving at the end of A New Hope

Anyway I’m tired of hearing about how Leia’s righteous anger or her bravery and sense of humor are totally from Anakin and her involvement in politics is all Padme, when she has two caring, brave, intelligent, funny parents who were involved in both politics and the rebellion.

Tldr; Anakin and Padmé have one kid, his name is Luke, and the reason he’s their kid is because he, as an adult with agency and values, decided he was their kid.

on top of having 2.0 vision (and well, metavision) his VVIQ score is a perfect 5

this helps him a lot with art and he's actually pretty good at it even though he's not as passionate about it as he is with football/soccer

he started drawing through doodling his favourite manga characters and he's able to recreate art styles almost perfectly

he's actually pretty careless when it comes to his schoolwork (esp for STEM) so sometimes he'll hand in incomplete work bc it looks like he's already filled in certain questions

like no. you doodled an eye instead of solving for "x"

he canonically hates science, but if he had to choose one branch as his favourite, it would be chemistry (not boring & derivative memorization like bio but not absolutely insane like physics)

something might contradict this in canon but i hc his handwriting is pretty shitty lmao

since so many sports anime characters look like him (nanase haruka, kageyama tobio, etc) i like to pretend they're all cousins and they meet up at family reunions to compete to see who's better at their respective sport

so yeah despite having no siblings he has a shit ton of cousins who he's really close to

he's just spent so much time walking around saitama he has a map of most of it installed in his mind

he really doesn't use his phone much at all. he has a few accounts in case he wants to check something out, but he doesn't post anything + barely follows anyone + even has a blank pfp on everything

he apparently received 0 valentine's chocolates in the previous year, but a few ppl from school had a crush on him

he's not popular or anything but some ppl over the years thought he was a genuinely sweet guy and quietly observed him from a distance

he's completely oblivious to this

his school friends all have way more romantic experience than him and they all tease him for this

he gets really frustrated about this and tries to convince himself he likes certain ppl in hopes of something sticking

when he genuinely likes someone he's oblivious to this too lmaoo

he's the type of guy to take dodgeball in PE wayyy too seriously

the first time he swore was when he was eight and got mad at his teammates for slacking off

he got in trouble for this and never swore in front of an adult ever again

(the lack of any physical adults in blue lock made him fall back on his foul mouth)

his fav class is PE in canon but i think i remember something about isagi hating baseball? that might have just been someone else's hc but yeah

he enjoys basketball and badminton, but he thinks volleyball is mid

How much money you betting that Jays biological mother is alive, I mean it’s not that far fetched considering Kai and Nya were orphans (genuinely believing their parents dead) before they found their parents alive in HOT.

Plus I think she was set to appear in PE as a sort of battery for the game but they cancelled it for some reason.

But if she is do you think she’s keeping track of her son like Jays bio dad did? (Did cause I think he died during skybound ) Yk the scene when Jay goes into his dead bio dads big house (he’s a Movie star) and there’s just a whole wall filled with Jay/blue ninja photos.-I think about that a lot.

Sorry if im bothering you but can i get some more information about the new found family AU it seems really interesting so i scrolled through your blog but didn't find really much information and stuff, i know that bee and soundy were bio brothers and that their parents got killed so they ended up in an orphanage where they met the seekers and cliff and became a family together. But that's basically it

Good question. But sadly i suck at writing and didn't bother too but if someone wants to, go for it. and the reason why there isn't much was because it was still in progress but now i have some down. Now like i said in mostly all of my post, this is an human au too. Just want to clarify. And somethings may have changed i don't remember-

Soundwave and bumblebee:

Sound and bee parents were killed in a breaking and entering. They had haerd glass being shattered downstairs and thought it was of their kids(bee was a toddler like 5 1/2 and sound was a almost teen?, 9-10 years old). Their father had went down to go check if it was and was met with a bullet in the head. Their mother had heard this and ran to her children room (sound and bee shared a room). She had put them in bathroom and told them to keep quiet as she trys to go downstairs and call the cops. When she had called them saying someone was in her house with her and her kids and had killed her husband, she was found and met the same death as her beloved. Bee was crying and sound was trying to keep him quiet hoping his mother would come back (they heard the gunshot but don't know she was killed nor that their father was either). When the cops arrived the person that broke in had already escaped. One of the cops had found little sound and bee and took them out of the house. Now, bee was to young to remember but sound remembers everything to the sounds of gunshots to seeing his mother and fathers lifeless bodys on the ground. They didn't have any other family members so it was the orphanage

When they had arrived the first few weeks were hard. Sounds didn't want to be there. He wanted to be home with his mom and dad but he knew it wasn't going to happen. Bee had a hard time too but found a liking there. He had became friends with star who was a year older then him and yk little siblings, they introduced all of their friends to ya so they and the seekers had gotten closer to the point they are never apart. A couple of years pass like 3 or 4 and someone has been picking on star and bee and one of the new kids, cliffjumper, had step in. By starting a fight with the bully and of course he got in trouble. Star and bee had thank him the next day and they just bacame a trio ever since which meant cliffjumper was all of a sudden part of a little made up family.

The day sounds and bee found out they were going to be adopted, it hurt. Because that would mean their have to leave their family behind and they didn't want to do that so the couple that were only adopting two kids ended up with six.

The seekers:

When sounds and bee arrives at the orphanage, Thundercracker and skywarp are twins (8 years old) and starscream is the youngest by two years (6 years old). Not much is known about their parents but they were left at the orphanage at a young age. They lived there for most of their lives now. When bee and star became friends, sky and t.c got to know about him and his older brother a bit more since sounds didn't really talk to anyone. When cliffjumper became part of "family", they would get in so much trouble.

Same thing when sounds and bee were gonna be adopted, they were hurt because they would have to say goodbye

Cliffjumper:

When he arrived, he was 12 1/2 years old. 3 or 4 years after sounds and bee arrival. He didn't really talk to anyone either but after seeing some kid picking on some little ones and throwing hands, he became more talkative. His family wasn't the best and that was the main reason he was there. His father was alcoholic and his mother did drugs and stuff. He wasn't ues to family love so when he suddenly became part of a family. He didn't know how to act or anything because he didn't have an family. Or just a loving and caring family.

When sound and bee were getting adopted, he wasn't suspecting to get adopted too

Surprise~ I'm not dead!

With all these reverse adoptions, at least they all have some good mentors and models for when they become parents themselves. Several people have one (1) fear and that is the day when both Aaliyah and Tia learn how to do The Look. Not just their normal *Do. Not.* look but The Look.

(I like to think that Revali has no idea how he got adopted but one minute Teba is treating him with the respect deserving of a mighty Warrior/Champion, the next he's being dragged back to the house while Teba mutters about how he's getting too skinny and Saki will pluck him if Revali loses any more weight.)

There's just something about Dorephan specifically that I personally love. (He won't lie tho. Champ is definitely his fav and none of them can really begrudge the guy. I like to think that sometimes he and Champ go on like fun bonding fishing trips once Dorephan retires. But he still loves all his children, biological and feral Hylian/Sheikah, equally.)

(Muzu definately needs a vacation and his favourite is Tia only because she doesn't explicitly cause chaos every time she visits)

Speaking of parenting and pregnancy, you just know Sage is showing off those bitemarks. Those are Badges of Honor. His proof that Aaliyah chose him to be the father of her child. He is showing them off at every opportunity. Champ gets bitten once, but that was more of an attempt to actively bite his hand from poking her.

Champ is a bit bitter about Aaliyah being the favourite, but it's more Aaliyah is her favourite friend and he's happy Tia finally has someone that she doesn't have to be Queen or Seer or Mature Friend around. (He's still Tia's Link though and that's enough for him.) BUt he still won't listen to Tia's R-rated pining. Nothing is worth that mental image.

Also there is a word that describes what I was thinking about the actions of Tia's suitors and I finally remembered it. PROPRIETY! The Rules of PROPRIETY.

But yeah, the moment Tia gets her hands on those contraceptives, she's throwing those out of the window alongside some of her restraint. When she gets really frustrated (or a bit too tipsy), she's teaching Aaliyah a few things about being a goddess damn menace to society. Flirting, smooth lines, stealing scarves, casual touches, compliments, kisses. If there's a single thought in any of those boys heads by the time Tia's done, she considers it a failure.

She says as much to Aaliyah who just suffered through watching her steal First's scarf coyly with a promise to return it after her chat with the Sheikah and only if she get a kiss out of it.

Poor Cal interrupts one of those Tea Times and immediately leaves, blushing furiously. He had no idea Tia was interested in tying people up and had no idea Aaliyah was telling her about how flexible people could be. He cannot make eye contact with her at all. (Although what he did hear about Tia mentioning something about honey that sounded promising and maybe Aaliyah would like to try it?)

Fr fr, yet they still end up feral assholes. everyone is counting down the DAYS until they announce a baby. That is a very valid fear to have bc...look at them yk? They can do it on the rare occasion but when they can do it consistently and constantly? When they master the "Mom Look"? It's all over for everyone.

(Revali has whiplash over what happened with how fast it went down. Like, they're at target practice one day and the next Teba is scolding him over not wearing the proper gear. Saki sends him with an extra lunch for Revali. And the next family dinner, Tulin is hauling his new uncle/older brother into the hut and plopping him down to the feral gremlins who just hit him with the "You too?")

I love Dorephan sm so I get it. (Everyone knows champ is the favorite non-bio kid and they just accept this. At this point, every race has a favorite. The Zora love champ, the Rito love Aaliyah, the Gerudo love Tia and the Gorons love Sage. fbifbi Dorephan and Champ go on all sorts of silly little adventures bc Champ gives him that ability to just...get that spark of life back, yk? He loves them all equally but he likes that funky one a lil more.)

Sage wears every mark he gets from Aaliyah like it's a medal. Something that I've been playing with for a while is the fact that Sage has some bad self-doubt. Damn near crippling. Bc like, with the events of BotW and then TotK, I just know he's got some issues. So having someone who picks him over everyone, over and over and over again? He's doing everything to prove he is worthy of that choice. Those are his connection to her when she's not there. He's happy to be bitten because that means she's showing off who he belongs to and that he belongs to someone.

Champ has no such regards. He poked her again right after. That started a WWE match right then and there.

There's definitely a difference there bc while Champ is her person, Aaliyah is her best friend. Champ is still her knight to some degree so with other eyes there, they have to hold a bit of professionalism. But with Aaliyah she is held back by no rules. She knows when to step up and hold her own as a responsible adult. So Tia doesn't have to do it for her. (Above all else, he is her person. Something different. With a different role for him) He absolutely refuses to be there. He's so glad Aaliyah knows enough about fighting to be the guard there, bc he is not doing that to himself for all the rupees in the world.

Aaliyah is both amused and also shocked bc where did this come from??? She's torn between laughing and using this for blackmail and crying bc ??? Aaliyah knows a few things okay. she fucks (Or she did at some point *cough ceres cough*). By the time Aaliyah returns to the castle with Tia, she's dropping her on Twilight and finding recluse in Sage's chest. If she takes a few tings Tia taught her that's no ones business but her own.

First is grinning like a madman and Aaliyah is counting his hours. If he wants to live, she won't be there to see the return of the scarf.

bfobf Cal doesn't interrupt, Champ sets him up. He's left a mess. Bc holy wow he did not need to know how Tia liked it. Although, he's a little more interested in how Aaliyah talks about what she likes <33 He's avoiding her eyes the entire time though.

THIS IS SO LONG IM SO SORRY

Hello there dear resident Dave fan, here’s your silly content of our favorite uncle and this time— his niece.

Starting off with them as a duo!

Dave met Sarah a few years before Mark’s death when she was two (1991). He was utterly clueless about her even existing due to having gone low contact with the Heathcliff adults [who are not great parents here] after Mark had been shipped off to another side of Mandela by them to live with extended family [due to their inability to provide him the help he needed with his PTSD] before he later emancipating himself (he was 16, going off of Google for some emancipation shtuff). He only learns about her through him and man, was he excited about another child in the family.

Dave was also not told about Sarah due to the Heathcliff wanting to avoid him ‘corrupting’ her as he ‘had with Mark’ religious transphobia yk yk

The two bonded immediately, but after Mark’s passing that relationship grows stronger. They both missed him, and having one another to share that grief helped them both. Sarah needed a parental figure to provide support to her and Dave took that role with open arms.

Sarah ends up in Dave’s care when she turns 14 due to an issue with her parents [she would’ve tried to emancipate herself, but Dave stepped forward and offered a place to call home] and he raises her from there on teaching her how to care for herself for when she moves out as well. He meets Jonah and Adam during this time too. She moves out at 18 but stays in Bythorne, and often visits him in her free time. He taught her most of what she knows and although they’ve never viewed their connection as a father/daughter one, Sarah gives Dave more credit as her father than her bio one.

NOW

On their own, Dave’s story aligns with his canon one, however instead of ending up going to see "O’Brien" for the church job offer, he ends up sticking with his own work. Much to Gabriel’s dismay but, what can ya do? He’s semi-active in Sarah’s life but tries to avoid most public interaction due to the whole deal with BPS— both to avoid her and the other two being arrested and himself due to affiliation. Dave does not have contact with his sister and her husband anymore, refusing to acknowledge them as family after all their insensitivity and Asshole behavior. He blames them for Mark’s death, they don’t seem to care that he does either.

Real quick character information as I had done in my first post.

Sarah’s information is on the first post ab Tethered but for here-

Sarah’s freshly four when Mark and Cesar die, and so she doesn’t remember much of it at the time but as she grows the memories get clearer and man, does she mourn hard; Dave provides many stories about Mark that make her all but wish he were back so she could experience him as a proper older brother. She moves in with Dave at 13 and creates BPS when she’s a freshman, and it started as a school club; she meets Jonah and Adam while she’s a sophomore and the two join BPS. She graduates at 17 [early graduation due to summer courses and other things; unlike the other two who drop out] and her focus turns to primarily BPS as things get a lot more heated and— well, illegal. She doesn’t need to get a proper job as her biological parents end up paying for her house and most commodities she needs; trying to buy her love [she acts like it’s working, in reality could give a rats ass about them]

She manages to keep herself off the FBI and police radar due to not doing the physical work herself— sticking to the online work although she had been involved in the theft of the GPS and other banned items. The two boys constantly use her house as a safe haven when they get the chance, and Sarah keeps an eye on the police to give them warnings on when they need to be on the move. She views them both as [annoying] younger brothers, commonly mirroring Jonah’s energy while simultaneously being just as fiery and irritable as Adam. When she first meets Cesar and Mark against she flips her shit over two genuine ghosts before realizing who they were and promptly crying. She missed them okay?

Oh, dumb fun fact, Sarah took in Mark’s old cat, Soup, when he passed. Soup’s and old, fat orange tabby that wobbles around and likes everybody but Adam.

Well that explains a lot

So for people who don't know I am meeting the parents of my boyfriend that are divorce so one lives in Paris , where I am currently at.

So we arrived, I was in Paris before but yk sight seeing is nice anyway, my boyfriend is clearly nervous and genuinely worried and I calm him down saying it will be fine I am a magnet for parents (except my own bio ones haha lol).

His dad made me realize why his wife divorced me in less then a hour.

He told me I was too boyish with my hair (Even though I dressed extremely fem today) , he hates the fact that I have tattoos and that I am not well off with money... And that's is not the worst part... He told me he doesn't like educated women and that they should be house wives and proceeded to ask me if I have mental illness that could make his grandkids ill (I am not even planning on having kids)

That man made me realize why his wife divorced him so fast...

I felt bad for my boyfriend tho , he was upset about what his dad said about me so we left.

Currently we will stay in a hotel and yea we went sight seeing and felt the ick every time we passed something that was in the movie "the dreamers" (we have a complicated relationship with that movie)

(i apologize in advance this is probs gonna be long) okay i’m still making my way through dc canon so i apologize if any of this is nonsensical or ooc, but i can’t stop thinking about the alternate introduction idea u have for damian where he’s given up for adoption, and then his adoptive parents are killed and he’s with the loa for whatever time. idk i just think, if by some rule dick & damian had to develop a close bond as characters, it would have been interesting to see how that could be interwoven with au!damian’s story while still being cognizant of Talia & Bruce and the fact that neither would be as intentionally callous and shitty as they are in modern canon. I think it would’ve been neat to sort of set it up so Talia & Bruce are off together investigating the murder of Damian’s parents after a discussion turned argument where they (including Damian) tried to figure out what their son’s role in the investigation should be if any. Talia believes he should be involved if he wants to, that he has a right to justice for his family, it’s not like he has no training, and it gives him a way to work through his emotions on the matter, isn’t that what Bruce is doing? Bruce sees this side (obv, the robins exist) but having learned from his experience with Jason, and knowing there’s a lot of details of Damian’s time with the league after the death of his adoptive parents that he is not yet privy to, he is unsure if it is best to throw Damian into a battlefield after he was just freed from one. Ethical conflict between divorcees, who knows maybe they get intimate about it! Meanwhile, lets say Dick would have been called by Bruce, wanting to leave Damian in the care of someone who a) has the capacity to keep him in check if need be (as in a situation where Damian would be a danger to himself etc), b) can sympathize at least to an extent with Damian’s trauma, and c) someone who could be a positive influence on Damian through that relatability (& prob also dick being a bit closer to damian’s age than bruce is). And like, I think in this hypothetical Damian would really appreciate Dick because not only is Dick someone who has insight into his parent’s relationship to each other and why they may have given him up, but I also think he’d be really upfront in answering Damian’s questions and paint a pretty fair picture of who Talia & Bruce are as people. there could be that sort of sense of okay this is who damian feels at least somewhat comfortable to latch on to without any bs. I also think it would be sort of interesting to use Dick being put in the position of a temporary caregiver of someone who has a million questions about the man who raised him as a way to explore his current feelings about bruce and how their dynamic has shifted through the years, particularly irt to how he feels about being asked for this out of what may be the blue, and whether he’s glad to have been asked by bruce or not. internal man vs self vs father type stuff yk (& maybe whether he wants to take on that sort of responsibility in his own life, who knows) . i think it would help subvert the “golden bio kid” stuff to have bruce’s experiences with some of the other bats explicitly influence his decision making irt trying to parent damian, and though i didn’t give talia’s reasoning as well as i could have i think it would be interesting to explore how deeply her personal philosophy would influence her itr. and also i like the running theme of exploration of familial structures through both damian’s adoptive and bio parents. sorry for how insanely long this ask is, i just had to share that ur idea has made me a wee bit insane. hope you have a good day/night.

sooo i just learned that my stepdad has approximately one billion serious medical things going on (his bloodwork is shit, he has big issues w several important organs, they don’t know the cause yet) and a couple weeks ago my dad told me his cancer has come back And my mom has been in cancer treatment for years now.

it’s just really difficult to process and very complicated bc i’ve only recently (semi) come to terms with the fact that my stepdad and mom are emotionally abusive and neglectful in many aspects. and honestly i think my stepdad is a piece of shit and his alcoholism has given me Sooo much trauma. Which has part of me like Ha ur kidneys are fucked up, wonder why!!! but obv on the whole it’s still really sad and makes me feel like i need to put energy into comforting and helping him when i barely even have energy for myself (i KNOW my cfs/me is gonna be completely overshadowed by their health issues and they’re probably gonna push me to help out more when it would really negatively affect my health) and i also still rly need to get Several forms of medical treatment that now i’m like Hmm is this as important as theirs, is it worth the money?

i also just fucking hate being 24 and having parents going into their 70’s bc idk anyone else who’s going thru smth like this. i feel rly alone and altho i’m v thankful and looking forward to being able to process w my therapist (love u diamond xoxo) i just feel so heavy and alone yk?

In ep 2, we get a proper introduction to our two main dudes. Guo Jing is living the life of freedom and hotness in the steppes.

Meanwhile, Yang Kang is living as the son of the ruler of Jin. The dude killed his dad, married his preggers mom and claimed Yang Kang is his bio kid and has forbidden anyone to let the kid know the truth. The old man is eventually my biggest hate in the whole drama (you ain't seen a toxic parental relationship until you watched this show) but in some other wildly alternate universe where YK never finds out the truth, he would probably remain a decent-ish dad to him.

Yang Kang is arrogant (he IS a prince, he believes) and has a troubling tendency to practice with a lady whose unique skill is to puncture holes in skulls, but I just feel terribly sad watching this unthinkingly happy young man because he is going to break my heart the most out of any character in this (I never got around to reading the original novel - I know I know - but I was told that this adaptation took a number of liberties, one of which was turning Yang Kang into a tragic antihero fighting his slide into villainy until he really can't any more and not the weak greedy man he was in the novel. If that is true, kudos to the makers. You bastards made me cry.)

Anyway, not all is wild fun and sunshine for freedom-dwelling Guo Jing. His masters (the poor kid has SIX!!!) and everyone else keep treating him as a moron. Objectively, he may not be a genius, but hands off the sweetest character in the whole story!

Poor dude. Honestly.

It's interesting, what his mother says - that she is glad he has nightmares since it shows he has a conscience. True, but she also wants to train him up for a vengeance quest that involves a lot of murder. I sense a problem. (Yes, that's against people he's supposed to have a grudge against, but his father's death is abstract to him, he's never met the man, so emotionally...well)

I love this about Guo Jing. He never changes that attitude. It doesn't mean he doesn't kill. But it weighs him down. If Huang Rong is the brains, he is the conscience. Without him, she had every chance of turning into her father.

First of all, it's established early on that "demigods are usually tall" which makes reasonable sense and I think it's safe to assume they're not ALWAYS tall yk. but I also would like address the whole gods don't have genetics thing real quick:

most of the demigods we've seen look a lot like their biological mortal parent, and since gods don't have genetics, its safe to assume they're just a genetic shuffle of their mortal bio parent (I'm sure I'm not the only one who's wondered if that would make them a genetic clone of their mortal parent but I think it would be more like genetic siblings, the same genes just mixed up a little) that also means there's room for recessive genes or stuff that skipped a generation on the mortal parents side. Not directly relevant but my thoughts adjacent to the topic at hand.

Also while I'm sort of on the topic, we all know hair color (specifically blonde, brunette, red, and black hair) is a state of being and not what hair you're given at birth. I could never bleach my hair again and I'd still be blonde yk. That being said most children of athena are ABSOLUTELY bottle blonde, and whenever someone new shows up that's not already blonde they're like "hey do you wanna dye your hair"

Percy - 6'1, looks and acts like it too. Sally's family are average/tall ish so its not unreasonable, Sally is the shortest in her family at 5'4 (and Paul is around 5'9 if you were wondering)

Annabeth - 5'5.5 but says she's 5'6. Percy is the only one who knows and will not correct her ever. Her dad was 5'8 or so the last time he measured but he hasn't checked since before college and always forgets to check, kind of doesn't care that much. Her stepmother is 5'2 and she feels a little weird about being taller than her.

Grover - 5'6 - 5'8 depending on how stretched his legs are, a little bend at the hoof is comfier yk

Juniper - 5'6, the exact same height as her bush, her favorite trait about herself

Jason - 6'0 exactly, mans is already perfect and when people find out hes exactly 6' they get even more pissed. He looks exactly 6' too.

Thalia - was 5'4 now 5'5, seems taller. Big scary dog privelages. Gained an inch somehow after the tree incident. Freaked out /pos when she came to and saw lil Annabeth is now slightly taller than her. Annabeth feels weird about that too.

Piper - 5'7 with long ass legs. Has been BEGGED to model by so many agencies because she's physically incapable of taking a bad picture and looks gorgeous in everything (thanks aphrodite). Always refuses and has made it her mission to find the ugliest aesthetics but they always become microtrends because she's an involuntary nepotism baby. Her dad is 5'11 but his publicist will sue if you say he's shorter than 6'0.

Leo - 5'7 during the books, 5'9 by the time he graduates MIT. The perfect height for hugs and cuddles but I might be a little biased. His mom's 5'4.5, says she's 5'4.

Nico - 5'10, cried when he was 13 and realized he was taller than Bianca. Lowkey wishes he was shorter than Will so he could be the little spoon easier. Will does not give a fuck.

Bianca - 5'2, would have been 5'3. Their mom was 5'3 too.

Will - 5'8.5, when asked Nico interjects that he's "doctor height". Doctor height has become code for 5'8.5 specifically

Hazel - 5'2, doesn't know why Nico likes resting his head on her shoulder but she doesn't mind. Thinks it's just the bees knees when Frank picks her up and spins her around or gives her piggy back rides. She doesn't quite remember how tall her mom was, but she was around 5'4.

Frank - 5'7 pre blessing, 6'0.5 post blessing, 6'3 by the time he's done growing. Beefy build too. Definitely didn't know how to process the fact that he's taller than THE Jason Grace. His mom was 5'3 and his grandma was 5'1. Says he's 5'10 to mess with assholes who claim to be 6'.

Rachel - 5'3, The only person Annabeth likes being taller than.

Reyna - 5'4, memorized that she was 7 inches shorter than Jason when they worked together. Either he grew or she did, but she feels a little weird about it now.

ok the most unhinged AU that I'm WILLING to share would be. evil wizard!Quil and stalker!Endra. hear me out. this is not even that unrealistic, it COULD have happened if I decided to go a different route (maybe one day...). basically the idea is. Quil's the Resident Wizard™ of this small town (as he is in canon as well) but...he's the sort of folklore witch type which parents tell their children scary stories about. never wander into That part of the woods alone...or after dark...because u will not leave them...and it's not just fairytales or smth, it's very much true lmfao. once in a blue moon, however, he visits the town... for very mundane stuff, nothing out of the ordinary, but everyone knows that on those days you DO NOT go outside lest you catch his attention. and you do not want that!

well, 'you' as in the general term. cue Endra, who one day DOES go out and sees him. and oh man. oh boy. everything about him just draws Endra in, both his appearance, his voice, his mannerisms, and this sense of danger that does something to his brain's chemistry. that one time is enough for him to get stuck in Endra's head. sooo, he Does start wandering into That part of the woods, and Does try to catch his attention. at first, Quil finds this fucking annoying. like, you'd think someone coming to HIM on their own accord would be great, less work for him, but no, it kinda ruins the whole vibe. people are meant to be scared of him, not?? enamored??? wtf???

so, he tries his darn best to get this dude to stop fucking. following him around and intruding on his business. like 'leave me the fuck alone or I'll skin you alive???' but all he gets in response is 'u can do whatever u want bby<33'. it's both baffling and exhausting. and now he DOESN'T want to skin him alive because what's the point if the guy's not scared of it?? it seems he has met his match in unhinged and highly questionable behavior and now he doesn't know what to do with himself. anyways then even more toxic and highly problematic shit ensues but I've already gone on for far too long<33
