Callisto X Reader X Derrick:

the spread of blood...

Maybe this wasn’t a good what you hoped to happen on such a day.…A sounds of people’s screams filled your ear as you were locked in a room, you slid down the door finally tired of banging hoping you would be saved from them…You’re face having streaks of wet tears and nose and eyes puffy and red and burning…Just as you were about to give up the sound of wooden breaking off was heard as the door creaked open just a bit. Now with the door open, you were able to hear the blood curdling screams of terror, pain and fear, you opened the door and saw multiple guards dead, you immediately got out and run deeper into the hallways which seemed to continue forever before they lead to multiple rows, maybe one proving you could save yourself..

But sadly, the hallways of pretty designs, which you loved so much since childhood as you were born here which seemed demented now, continued forever and ever and reaching into deeper parts of the palace which was proving to show that you couldn’t escape them…

Just as you stopped you heard the sounds of their feet clicking across the marble floors, the silence made the sounds of your breath loud as you took off deeper into the manor, running at the top of your speed not caring about anything else, those monsters, they took your family and killed them in the main room while keeping you locked up, the reason being their delusional heads thought your family was keeping you away from them…Which was true, but it’s because they often drove people away from you and you felt uncomfortable around them…They did it to protect you and they along with nearly everyone else in the manor you cared about were killed in cold blood by their hands…

You ran and ran, your breathe getting heavier as you heard Derrick and Callisto run behind you as well…Just as soon you saw a window into your view, you opened it as quickly as possible before looking down and seeing a bit of height, you figured you’d survive and if not, you’d reunite with your family, right? Just as you’re about to jump out, you were pulled back harshly by your waist and thrown to the ground, in the process you hit your head as black smoke fills your vision….in the darkness you see two masculine figures, one of them slaps the other on the head harshly before the other lunges at the first and they break apart angrily, before you feel their hand caressing you, their touch felt like millions of insects crawling and biting your skin, but soon you couldn’t see anything as your vision was filled completely by darkness….

The soft caressing and touch felt weirdly sharp to you, as you tried to wake up, your back and neck sore…your eyes shutting tightly and refusing to open up and you feeling chills down your spine telling you to not get up ever again…You tried following those words and feelings, but you couldn’t as your eyes opened up to a vinyl void, clearing up as you squinted to get used to the bright lights of the room, it smelt of moss and water tanks…

You tried rubbing your eyes, but you couldn’t you felt constricted and a burn was on your arms, you looked down to yourself tied up to a big throne-like chair with Derrick and Callisto arguing loudly, but the moment you lolled your head up a bit trying to remove the tiredness and unconsciousness, they stopped in their places and looked at you with eyes which had red hearts for pupils. They immediately started to shove each other and coddled you while trying to outdo the other, with insults thrown at the other; you were being suffocated by their affection and you couldn’t handle how they lunged at each other…

You didn’t even realize how far their fight went until they started to pull out their swords… The splashes of blood, bruises and cuts was something that made you realize that this definitely wasn’t something you wanted in love…

->a/n: loved writing this one :) and sorry for not posting soon, got into a small discussion with my family, but that’s okay and we are doing great now. hope you enjoy this one!

-> daughter of two servants of the royal palace, you knew the previous empress during her pregnancy, not because your mother or dad were closer to her, but you were quite a curious kid without much thing to do in your free time.

-> the empress knew that and not reluctantly or thinking twice, she grown quite closer to you, talking with you and teaching you how to write and read, something that you never told anyone not even your parents.

-> lovely the time you spend with the empress and when her baby was born, you were happy to see the boy whose appearance charmed you easily. golden hair and eyes that remember you of rubies, such unique looks that make you wonder if someone like him truly exist.

-> when the empress died and the emperor got married to a new one then another child came into the family, you began taking care of callisto on your own after you asked to become his personal maid, regardless of what your parents told you, you still at his side whatever happen in the future.

-> the little boy is grateful for having someone like you in his life, he hears stories from his biological mother from you and often stare at you with such admiration, you remind him of an angel, a guardian that protect him from the many dangerous he gets into.

-> raising callisto with the empress trying to kill him isn’t easy, but you managed to keep his innocent intact and made him thinking that his stepmother is just a different woman from his biological mother and prefer to be by herself with her son. He believed in that until the that hunter competition.

-> the murder attempt on him and seeing the faces of the people who he trusted are what make him realize how dark this world is. callisto can’t and will not trust anyone, yet you are the only exception.

-> you raised him, took care of him, cleaned his wounds and placed him bed when he couldn’t walk due to fear while reading stories to calm him down, just a mother does to her son. He even calls you that way when you are both alone, much to your dismay and to his happiness.

-> that little boy grow up to idolize you as his mother, someone who always cared about him since the beginning and will be there to protect him until the day he become the one to stand in the front as your guardian.

-> others aren’t dumb either, many knows how the crown prince is closer to you and are afraid to even standing in the same room with you, fearing for what might happen to them if they ever came closer to you.

-> lovely to say that none dares to attack you, not even the empress and her son, as much they desire to you gone, they know the consequences if they do that.

did something happened? never in your relationship with him, you thought you would hear him speaking with such a melancholy tone, however, his scarlet eyes doesn’t look sad nor distressful, by the complete opposite. he looks at you with such happiness that easily got you smiling.

“ wonder what?” you questioned him as you careful raised from the ground while carrying the small one between your arms.

affection — how do they show their love and affection?

callisto shows his affection through teasing words and physical acts, and it's shockingly casual. sits down next to you at gatherings, shoves your book out of your hand so you can pay attention to him, keeps an arm around your waist, gives small sly comments and then pokes fun at you when you get flustered. acts like you two have known each other forever.

blood — how messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

oh, callisto's willing to leave a whole trail of bodies in his path if it's in your name. he's the crown prince, he already has the reputation of a bastard, and he's doing it for you. he eyes everyone who approaches you with a wary eye, already having a hand on his sword. you should probably cut off ties with the people you love before callisto does it for you.

cruelty — how would they treat their darling once abducted?

he's not cruel towards you, but he sure is mocking. doesn't let a minute a go by without teasing the hell out of you. and if you don't cooperate, he'll snap a few of your friends' necks to give you a small lesson.

darling — aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

sure he would. you're his, and the fact that he's giving you his love makes you exceptional. eventually, he gets tired of your constant tears and disobedience. he'll force himself on you sooner or later, and don't forget that callisto's a lot more than the pretty face. he'll keep his knee between your legs, stop your flailing thighs with two large, scarred hands, and once he's done, he'll bury his face in the crook of your neck, softly hushing your constant sobbing.

exposed — how vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

you're callisto's achilles' heel. you might be late to the ball and he'll pace back and forth in the garden, besides himself with worry. he feels like there's this dull ache in him that grows stronger by the hour if he doesn't see you. he'll defend you from just about anything — he'll gouge out the tongues of the ladies who slandered you and he'll cut off the heads of the council members who attempted to assassinate you. you're a weak spot for callisto, alright. even he doesn't know how weak.

fight — how would they feel if their darling fought back?

he's annoyed and amused at the same time. annoyed because you're supposed to be sweet, not attack him everytime his back is turned. and amused because poor, precious, thing, you have no idea how pathetic your attempts are. it's like a small fly mildly irritating a human. his favorite one yet is when you tried to escape by climbing. you're so bad at climbing the smooth palace walls that he couldn't help but laugh. (because they're smooth and you didn't notice because you were desperate to escape).

game — is this a game to them? how much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

this isn't a game. in his view, he's in love with you and he wants to keep you by his side forever. all your escape attempts do is exasperate and amuse him. you're never going to succeed at it — he'll break both of your legs and get you permanently bedridden if that means you staying with him forever.

hell — what would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

callisto had to leave for a meeting once, and after making sure he left, you climbed out his window and ran for dear life, ran as though from a fearsome predator, ignoring the stones and twigs stabbing your bare feet and the stitch in your chest. callisto found you within an hour.

the bones he broke were never the same again.

ideals — what kind of future do they have in mind for their darling?

callisto wants to marry you. the idea of golden warm days, just living as a married couple, with sunlight and daisies, is so appealing to him that he cannot contain himself with excitement at the thought of it. and if he married you, then those idiots would stop bothering you and bow to you as their crown princess, alongside their crown prince.

jealousy — do they get jealous? how do they handle it?

he's extremely carefree around you always, but he gets jealous so quickly it's unbelievable. that count that danced with you at the ball last week? they found his dead body in a hedge yesterday. the lady who hugged you and proclaimed you her best friend — most probably with the intention of using you — yes, she's been reported missing. his jealousy is strong, alright.

kisses — how do they act around or with their darling?

he's easy going and sweet with you most of the time. makes fun of you, jokes, and hugs. when he approaches you for the first time he makes sure that you are at your utmost ease around him. he's also respectful to you... most of the time, at the very least. and whoever causes you discomfort has to go, hear?

love letters — how would they go about approaching their darling?

strategizes about it for a week (💀) he greets you and then starts a conversation with you so easily that it's crazy. you can hardly believe that this is the crazy bastard of the empire, with how he's talking to you. inside, he is slightly nervous, but why should he be? it doesn't matter if you reject him — if he wants you, he'll take you. you lost all your choice in the matter once you declined him.

mask — are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

well, yes and no. callisto doesn't exactly shy away from his reputation as a crazy bastard, and he displays that face to the empire, and even while talking to you he's no nicer, always threatening everyone you interact with; promising them a painful death. however, sometimes, when you two sit in quiet after a particularly bad fight with his stepmother, you'll see a different side of him — almost as though he doesn't really know what to do with himself and his life.

naughty — how would they punish their darling?

dpeends on what you've done. if you've argued or insulted him, he'll either a) condescendingly hush you and brush it off (rare thing to happen) or b) he'll kill a few people you loved and 'gift' you their cut off heads. however, if you're foolish enough to attempt escape.. broken bones, chains, locked windows.

oppression — how many rights would they take away from their darling?

he's pretty loose at first — he even allows you to go out every week or so. perhaps it's because callisto doesn't want to completely shatter you, and thus he lets you have some semblance of freedom. however —

all of this will fall at your first escape attempt. then he's not allowing you to leave the room for a moment.

patience — how patient are they with their darling?

he's patient at first. tolerates all your screaming and insults, calms you down when you cry, and considers your small rebellions with amusement. but slowly he grows weary of the constant defiance, deciding that it's time for more drastic measures.

quiet — if their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

callisto is gone, girl, he took critical damage he's dead he's not in this world anymore — you get the point. depression hits him like a bullet train and he kills more than ever, trying his best to get rid of the nightmares. is he just supposed to be alone forever in this world?

regret — would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling?

there are moments — when you curl yourself up in silk white sheets and cry your heart out, callisto feels a pang of guilt. perhaps you'd have been happier as your unrefined self.. it's like he's trying to shut his doubts down when he holds you close and wraps his arms around your waist

stigma — what brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

a dead mother, neglectful father, and disapproving stepmother. everyone in callisto's life has shunned him, and the moment he finds someone who doesn't violently resent him he grabs onto them and never lets them go.

tears — how do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

he feels guilty. look, he's a sadist through and through, but when you stare out the window with tears running down your face and arms around your knees.. it hurts, okay? just stop. accept this is your life now, because it's not going to change. why can't you? he doesn't get it.

unique — would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

callisto isn't snooping in your privacy. sure, he has familiars who keep an eye on you at all times, but.. he isn't going around in your drawers and looking at your pictures that you don't want. that's creepy — he's not that low.

vice — what weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

use his hatred of his stepfamily or nobles. go crying to him about how someone amongst them tried to harrass you and watch as he's off to kill them, giving you a few precious hours to run for your dear life. just don't leave any tracks. that doesn't go well.

wit’s end — would they ever hurt their darling?

oh, definitely. he's not opposed to breaking your bones and taking you with force. he doesn't necessarily enjoy it, but it never stops him from doing it anyways.

xoanon — how much would they revere their darling?

he adores you. you're the most divine being on this planet to him. he has absolutely no clue how to explain it because none of the words that occur to him are enough to capture the perfection that he knows you to be.

sometimes, after you've cried yourself to sleep, callisto feels a tinge of guilty love and wonder. you're truly so pretty, hear him? silvery tears, satin hair and doe eyes. warm and living and here — and you're not leaving — he'll make sure of that.

yearn — how long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

roughly six months. callisto tires of the constant jealousy and worry about you. and he also wanted to make the normal part of your relationship last as long as possible. alas, it didn't happen — and on the most beautiful day of summer, he sighs and relents, already feeling a mixture of guilt and excitement for the amount of screaming you're gonna do — but atleast you're gonna be with him.

zenith — would they ever break their darling?

as much as he doesn't want to... yes. callisto's idea of a perfect life is heaven by your side — and even if he's aware of it — he kind of ignores the fact that it's not your idea of a perfect life. days will pass by and you'll give in, completely shattered, none of your will there anymore.

and the day finally arrived. you were really happy that you managed to sneak out of your room without derrick, your father, and reynold noticing. but your happiness changed into despair when you got outside.

there, you saw your father and penelope with a bunch of knights behind them. when you saw them, you felt betrayed. you know the reason why your father and your family knights were there. penelope told them about your plan.

you tried to run away from them but the duke ordered the knights to catch you without hurting you. and then when the knights caught you, the duke locked you up in your room.

you shouted and begged them to let you out. you keep on begging them until your throat hurts. but the duke didn't listen. he already lost ivonne and he doesn't want to lose you too.

they're doing all of this for your sake, so why are you so unhappy about this?

and remember your lover? the person who corrupted you? you don't have to worry about him anymore! since your dependable brothers (derrick and reynold) already killed took care of him!

now, they just need you to act like your old self and everything will be back to normal.

➥a/n; short af

Callisto is a protective yandere. He will do anything and everything to protect you. (also obsessive but mostly leaning into protective.)

He is possessive too but not to a great extent (eckles). Only wanting you to himself, and no one else. (if someone dared to mention that they want a political marriage or even compliment you may god have mercy because he certainly won't)

He does not care if you are a commoner or not because you are his significant other. It does not matter to him, others can go die in a ditch for all he cares.

Though he will be a little suspicious if you are a noble, after all many have tried to kill him and what not. The most important point would be how almost all the nobles have their children act like their own little puppets and have them as fronts, so they don't get injured while their child gets.

(in case he does land up in a situation like this he will most likely prison them or take them out of duchy or even kill them. if that is not the case? he will be nice and kind, depending on the situation of course.)

As you are his spouse, your safety comes first before anything to him. He would have your ladies in waiting telling what happened, your maid-everyone is interrogated.

He would want to get married as soon as he can but then again he does not want to because the number of enemies he has.

A sweet hart to his darling while to others a danger. That does not include your family because he does not see them as threats.

He has to, have a hand around you. He needs to know that you won't go away from him or someone won't take you away from him.

Oh and will try to get on your parent's good side! key word; try.

(and probably fail but then again no one knows-)

If they are on his bad side? well he might threaten them-you that he can have them executed in a blink

he just wants control over you, because he knows the best clearly.

He will shower you with gifts, every luxury a person can think of but would never allow the luxury you would want-freedom.

He can be a sweetheart to you and a menace to others but then again it is not certain. If you oblige by him then he is a wonderful person if not well, I don't think it will go well for you my darling.

Like she is Penelope’s sister and she keeps getting transported in other worlds by mistake? And they’re all Yandere fore her? U obviously doing have to do this but this is just a e crazy idea 😅

※Everybody in the Agriche manor wanted to see you, the lucky servants would tell about you to other servants who were asking them about you, everybody was curiously waiting for you to quickly heal so they could also see you and meet, including Grizelda, Fontaine, Maria, Jeremy, Charlotte, Dion and many more, I mean who wouldn’t be if they saw Lant carrying someone so tenderly.

※Now back to the present, as you sat up and saw the three come in and take a seat on the chair near your bed, Lant immediately put his hand on your shoulder and laid you back on the bed, while the other two sat on the other side.

※As the doctor came and checked up on you and gave you shots, Lant held your tiny hand in his, often using his other hand to stroke your hair and warm face with tenderness, which shocked the other two more.

※You quickly became the favorite between the Agriches, Dion loved you so much, you got gifts, sweets, treats, party invites and much, much more constantly.

※But you were also kept locked up in a room for hours on end, unless Lant would visit you with a beaming smile on his face, you were kept like this in the Eckhart manor as well, so it didn’t faze you.

※You would then by taught by the three family how to use your power and learn about it, so they can make a place where you power won’t work so you can’t teleport away from them anymore.

※Other than this type of behavior, you loved your families very much, you introduced everyone to each other, Roxanne, Cayena and Penelope got along very well always talking shit about someone they don’t like, Rezef, Callisto and Dion also became good friends often teaching each other if they tried to get to close to you their favorite torture methods, Jeremy and Reynold made a normal companionship and Sierra and Ashil became very close with Yvonne and Vinter, they would be the kindest to you and the most patient with you as well.

※You would often unknowingly cause arguments between the families, especially Rezef, Ashil, Callisto and Dion when you said your favorite brother was Ashil, he became a bit cocky for some time to the others people of his new found families and his own family.

※Everyone accepted each other, mainly because they all enjoyed blood, you would mostly be in the eyes of Lant, Dion, Ashil or Callisto, no one else because they all fall prey to your puppy eyes.

Eckles Delman (Thoughts)

Oh Eckles... you cute, lovable, horrible, cruel little thing. (ಥ﹏ಥ ╬)

I have a lot to say about this man in particular. As someone who is feral for the toxic yandere trope (iykyk), Eckles hit a lot of my personal checks in the checkbox. He's got this deep sense of loyalty towards Penelope, but he's also just this dark, brooding mess of jealousy and protective longing that makes him... borderline psychotic?

There's one scene in particular that really cemented this for me. It's when Penelope was in the garden speaking to Callisto, and it was hinted at that Eckles had been watching from the shadows. (Typical Yandere behavior tho, what can I say?). That made me wonder just how much he's been spying on her. Does he have ears and eyes everywhere? Just how much has he caught on about her life outside the Eckhart walls? Given how unhinged he has the capacity to be, I wouldn't put it past him if he's just been spying on her everywhere.

Anyways, all that is fine and dandy, like I said, pretty run-of-the-mill yandere type stuff.

HOWEVER. (ᓀ _ᓀ)

Without spoiling anything for anyone, let's just say much later in the manhwa he makes a VERY... VERY bad choice for the sake of his deep, undying, unconditional love! Ahahahahahahaha... BAD ECKLES! VERY BAD.

I think we all saw that this was coming. He was the easiest love interest. Just breathing in his mere presence was enough to shoot up his love meter like 20%. But it didn't make it any easier to accept when it happened. ┐(シ)┌ (My heart literally dropped in my chest, lol).

On one hand, I can understand why he did what he did. After all, he's only seeing things from his point of view. In his mind, the only person in Penelope's corner is, well, him. Everyone else is a threat to their bond, everyone else is something that takes her attention away from him, that takes her time away from him, and thus it's something he has to eradicate somehow.

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND GAH. (ﾒ﹏ﾒ) It was a very frustrating decision that I'm sure had everyone else lowkey pulling their hair out.

Eckles, you dug your own grave and buried yourself inside it.

(￣～￣;) and frankly, I don't know what redemption would look like for him at this point, especially from Penelope's point of view.

TLDR; Yikes.

DERRICK ECKHART VS VINTER BERDANDI

Derrick eckhart and vinter berdandi being love rivals / romantic, yandere / tw manipulation, hallucinations, isolation, drugging, violence, kidnapping, forced marriage, death, implied reader being forced to have children, victim blaming.

derrick eckhart, the eldest son of the duke and apparent heir to the duchy, and vinter berdandi, a magician and marquis, somewhat of an odd duo to be fighting over someone's love.

the person who'd "win" your love is honestly based on who you interact with more. such as, if you interact with vinter too much, derrick would kidnap you and force you into marrying him.

even though if you interact with derrick a lot, he'll eventually get the wrong idea that you're into him and will still force you into marrying him. a lose-lose situation.

if you want to be happy and content with who you'd be spending time with for the rest of your life, vinter is the best choice, he's not as violent as derrick, but isn't above manipulating you or isolating you from everyone but him.

derrick is a cruel and violent man, he won't stop until he gets what he wants, even if it means beating you into obedience so you wouldn't run away. he isn't above breaking your legs and mind, too.

how would derrick and vinter try to get your attention? well, derrick is wealthy and pretty arrogant, so he'd gift you lavish things. but vinter would use magic to entertain you, having various conversations with you too.

if you want to go with the safest option, choose vinter, he's very against physically harming you, unlike derrick who'd physically hurt you if you as much were one foot away from the house.

if you don't want children, tough luck man. vinter might be more understanding, but derrick is practically inclined to have children to continue the eckhart bloodline.

if you want to have children, but can't due to certain problems, vinter doesn't mind adopting children! i don't know about derrick, though.

vinter's punishments are more mentally and emotionally damaging, he'd hesitantly lock you in an empty room, either drugging you or using magic to make you think you're hallucinating. vinter would gaslight and blame you after it.

derrick's punishments are much more physical and mentally damaging, as you'd either be beaten or starved in a cold, tiny room.

you'll have more freedom with vinter, as he'd only isolate you if you were to break a rule, otherwise you can pretty much walk around with him and the orphan kids on the streets.

but with derrick, you'll always feel isolated, everyone you get close to a bit too much (derrick's words, not mine) will "mysteriously" dissapear. the only human interaction you can get is from derrick or your ladies in waiting.
