The whole transandrophobia discussion thing is weird bc it feels like it's a bunch of poc and jewish trans people being like "here are my experiences of how specifically being MASCULINE had affected me, and the discrimination and violence I experienced based on that. And here is how that relates to me being a racial/ethnic minority"
And then a few loud white trans people going "ohhh you wanna be oppressed so bad you *slur*. This is why there aren't any poc in your movement it's because REAL poc understand intersectionality"

It is really sad that Anders is no longer the same person after he merged with Justice and it’s even sadder that he’s not even capable of recognizing that. I get it I get it it’s a trauma metaphor whatever but good god. They messed up a perfectly good twink is what they did. Look at him. He’s got anxiety

Trying not to imagine the unhinged reblog responses I could generate if I sprinkled just a handful of phrases from this chapter of my zoology textbook in a tumblr post. Y’all would be So Normal about kin recognition and altruistic suicide. Surely no one would run wild with the concept of female mate choice

I'm rereading lux, for like 3rd of 4th time now, and I love college Jess and Rory so so so much 😍
It got me thinking though, in your AUs Lorelai either doesn't know much about Jess (e.g. Distilla) or she doesn't like him because it's canon compliant. Have you ever thought what it would be like if Lorelai didn't hate Jess? Like if the first time they met she sympathized with him without being patronizing. If she actually gave him a chance and tried to understand where he was coming from. Would they get along? Would she see the similarities between them? Would he? Would she treat him the same way she did on the show? Would she not want Rory to date him anyway? Would she encourage their friendship and then relationship? What would that kind of AU be like?
this is definitely an interesting concept!!! i kinda like either keeping jess separate from lorelai or making their relationship rocky at first bc it’s another plotline that i can shape and develop throughout the AU, but this’d def be something new and fresh! i will say that in RA their relationship isn’t exactly antagonistic and lor does have a good amount of understanding toward him tho, which’ll hopefully be more along the lines of what you’re looking for <3

Also, so sorry to Misha Collins (ilu Misha) and I know it’s been like coming up on two years now or whatever but getting your character to ambiguously say “I love you” and then die is not and should not be something amazing or groundbreaking or something you had to fight hard for. Fucking yikes. I’m so over it.
