From the moment he stepped into the courtroom and saw you were opposing counsel Andy knew he was screwed. The whispers of the woman that could rival him as a prosecutor moving to the district didn’t contain how beautiful you were.

Your stellar professional reputation preceded you, but your bewitching presence was a surprise that completely caught him off guard.

Andy wasn’t one to get flustered under the pressures of the court, but when you looked at him, his speech briefly stuttered along with his heart. Your words flowed eloquently, and your confidence made him grateful that it was an open-and-shut case, because once court was adjourned he decided that a woman as brilliant as you belonged with him.

He pursued you until you gave in, but it was a lot harder than he anticipated. You weren’t looking for anything, yet his persistence ensured that you found it anyway. The man wore you down with his kindness, helpfulness, and those dazzling blue eyes always giving you his undivided attention. Despite your cynicism, you let yourself fall for the lawyer with the complicated past.

Fortunately, Andy ensured that you didn’t regret it. And to further prove his commitment, he proposed after six months of dating you, simply because he needed you to be his, in every way possible.

Just like he made you his, every night since you agreed to go out with him. You thought it might be a bit too early to sleep with him after your first official date. But as he helped you out of his Audi and walked you to your front door with your hand firmly in his, you knew exactly what was going to happen.

“Tell me to leave, honey,” he mumbled against your lips after kissing you goodnight.

“But I want you to stay,” you whispered before opening your door.

He took care of you that night, worshiping every inch of your body, just like he wanted to from the moment his eyes laid on you.

Your attraction couldn’t stay confined to just your places at night, and that’s how stolen kisses at work turned into making love behind locked office doors. But sex wasn’t always like that, sometimes he’d fuck you, quick and rough, just enough to get you both there. Other days, he’d take his time, dominating you hard and slow; whispering the filthiest words you’d only hear when you got him like that.

“That’s it, honey. Go soft under me, fuck – this pussy’s so fuckin’ tight it’s like she wants to keep me inside,” Andy groaned against the shell of your ear, his beard grazing against your soft skin as he pounded into you. You felt him everywhere; his warm lips, his large hands, his hard length roughly sinking into you over and over again. Until you were screaming his name, barely able to hear him mutter how well you squeezed his cock and how pretty you were as you came for him.

The two of you eloped on a weekend trip in Portland, and the main thing that changed once you were officially his wife was that his adoration and devotion became even more intense.

Andy was a self-assured man, but now that you were his, you didn’t miss the way his possessiveness lingered whenever you interacted with other male colleagues. In fact, you loved the way he’d make it apparent that you belonged to him. You loved it even more when he took you home and reminded you that you were his Mrs. Barber – as if the ring on your finger and the hold on your heart wasn’t indication enough.

His protective nature, the way he cherished you as a partner and always took care of you made you fall for him more and more every day. A few colleagues at work even mentioned that you changed him for the better. He didn’t hide the fact that he was once a workaholic that prioritized his job more than anything in his past relationship; instead he made sure that you knew that you were his top priority through his actions. You were his new beginning, a chance to do things differently, and he certainly made the most of that.

Andy was the perfect husband to you, his wonderful wife.

Because you were his ideal partner. You were the warm softness to his rough exterior – although you were strong when you needed to be and Andy really admired that. You were the one that he trusted to tear down the tall walls he’d built up over the years. He needed someone that didn’t judge him about his past, that actually appreciated him, and saw him for the deeply caring man that he was. It amazed him how you fit the bill in every sense; a fact he expressed gratitude for often.

And now that Andy loves you, he can never stop. Because you’re his better half, his gorgeous and amazing wife, his Mrs. Barber.

One thing that I would love you to write for your wtma-AU is Tommy wearing Alfie’s clothes. Alfie is in London and Tommy is in Birmingham and Tommy misses Alfie and he knows that one of Alfie’s shirts is still hanging up in his wardrobe, Tommy knows because he hid this particular shirt so Alfie wouldn’t be able to take it with him, its Tommy’s favourite of Alfie’s shirts. Tommy decides that he is going to wear Alfie’s shirt despite having a full day of meetings with his family. The shirt obviously drowns Tommy but he doesn’t care, he loves Alfie and he misses him, more than he thought possible to miss a person, even though Alfie has only been gone 1 day and 1 night. Ada is the only one who’s notices the shirt and she makes sure that Tommy know she know, they have light banter about it and Tommy should feel embarrassed that he got caught but he doesn’t he just feels warm inside

Hi friend! I'm about half way done with Parts Two and Three of The Lonely Hearts Club. My housemate helped me navigate through a scenario - because I hit a serious block and it was driving me nuts. But that scenario totally changed the series of events...in the best way possible.

So I'm obsessed with your writing, especially your missing moments series. It builds on perfectly what happened on the show but you've also sprinkled your Andie magic on it ✨️🩷 my fave part is that I reread different chapter depending on my mood, like if I want to have a good cry 213 is great choice. Week 25

The Bots are alright I finally got the Bots to talk to each other as well as to the User and remember all the ongoing context. No easy feat! It took ASGI, WebSockets, and some creative workarounds, but it's GLORIOUS and HILARIOUS. Having a group chat with these two characters is a riot. It increases the delightfulness factor dramatically. This feature was a nightmare to implement (see previous entry), but so f*ckin worth it. Does it qualify as MVP (Minimum Viable Product)? No it does not, but I care more about Viable than Minimum. I'm also building this for myself and this an interaction I really wanted. Code Interpreter saves my life A few weeks ago ChatGPT introduced a feature called 'Code Interpreter' which allows me to upload a code file for GPT to analyze. This was a God send because my code has grown so complex that I can no longer paste all of it into a prompt without GPT complaining it is too long and refusing to answer my questions. This forced me to carefully inspect (and learn) the code GPT was writing for me so that I could issue questions and instructions. I am thankful to have been forced to learn this before the introduction of Code Interpreter, but now I can share multiple interlinked code files and ask GPT what the discrepancies are. Or upload a very long error/log and ask GPT to discern some subtle break that would've taken me days to tease out. I feel as if my timing with this project has been serendipitous (Kismet-y?). ChatGPT launched right when my contract at Yahoo was ending making AIYIYI Chat possible and giving me the courage to attempt it by myself. Then GPT-4 launched at exactly the moment I was starting work on the AI characters and I was miraculously in the first batch of developers granted API access. Then just as the codebase was growing too complex for me to wrangle, Code Interpreter was introduced. The GPT-4 API is still prohibitively expensive compared to GPT-3.5 Turbo, but at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if OpenAI dramatically reduced the price right as I'm ready to launch. This series of events reminds me of a midrash regarding Moses and the parting of the Red Sea: “We all think of the scene in The Ten Commandments movie with Charlton Heston, where Moses lifted up his rod, and the waters rolled back. But this midrash says that’s not how it happened. Moses lifted up his rod, and the sea did not part. The Egyptians were closing in, and the sea wasn’t moving. So a Hebrew named Nachshon just walked into the water. He waded up to his ankles, then his knees, then his waist, then his shoulders. And right when water was about to get up to his nostrils, the sea parted. The point is, sometimes miracles occur only when you jump in.” - Rabbi Andy Bachman An old friend shows support My buddy randomly called me this week to catch up and inquire about my progress. He's a big time music producer and I used to champion him when he was just starting out almost two decades ago. He says the tables have turned and my time is around the corner. I sure hope so. He's got an RIAA Diamond award (10 million albums sold). The real takeaway from our 3 hour conversation was that we are both happiest just working on our craft in solitude. Just vibing out, plugged into the collective superconscious. Success is the cherry on top, but the sundae, the fudge and the sprinkles is in the making of the thing. The journey. I'll take the cherry, but I don't need it to smile. There's other ways I could've burned through my savings, but this is the way that is bringing me the deepest creative satisfaction I've felt in many years. I've already gotten a return on my investment. 🥰
