Okay this one has nothing to do with Link Click except the actors >< but is super interesting (for me at least) and it makes sense to mention it I promise! So there's a musical version of 'The Brothers Karamazov'. And since it's like a restart/s2 of this play, they're doing quite a lot of promo.

What I'm saying is Brothers Karamazov is the link between Link Click musicals, with two Cheng Xiaoshis and one Lu Guang >< And I think it's just neat that they know each other and have a history of working together ^^

*Brothers Karamazov's plot is very accessible to grasp bc it's based on a famous russian novel by Dostoyevsky that's why I know about it. Also bc it's dramatic and sad af and the actors look gorgeous so I just had to learn more ><'

🍡 He’s been learning a lot from Omi recently, and it’s always such a delight to see your eyes shine a little when you taste his cooking.

🍡 He may not be very good just yet, but he’s really doing his best, and it shows!

🍡 Maybe the cake he made last week was too sweet, or the cookies he had you try the week before were burnt, but it’s all a part of the process!

🍡 Okay moving on, he also loves loves loves when you two just sit in comfortable silence on the couch together. It’s so simple, but he cherishes those moments more than anything else in the world.

🍡 Bonus points if you’re leaning against him with your head on his shoulder while he reads over a script, munching away on some snack or another.

🍡 He drapes an arm over you as he starts muttering some of his lines, his low voice making his chest start to vibrate. You can feel it against your head, and it starts to soothe you just a little bit.

🍡 He’ll mark the line in pencil, noting how he wasn’t sure how he wanted to deliver it just yet, then go to grab a bit more of whatever he was eating.

🍡 No matter what he’s chosen that day, the second you’re lying against him, he’s grabbing extra to give to you.

🍡 Sometimes, this will happen super late at night, and you’ll fall asleep against him.

🍡 Thankfully, he’s super great to have around if you do. He’ll gently peel you off of him to readjust your position, and pick you up to carry you to one of your rooms. He’ll gingerly set you down on the bed, pushing your hair out of your face, almost afraid he’d break you.

🍡 Depending on the night, he might lay with you, and send you to sleep with a quick kiss, even if it’s a little messy.

Could use some good vibes

LC health stuff under the cut

So I'm in month 18 of Long COVID. It has ups and down, but I've been very, very down the last almost 2 weeks. We're a bit closer to answers -- basically (and I share this because all the clinics in my province closed, so we really only have each other to rely on for potential answers), COVID and LC are known to mess with the immune system. Sometimes it can interfere with T-cell production, and sometimes your immune system gets thrown into overdrive and causes system-wide inflammatory reactions. They think the latter is what has been happening to me. I've had an undiagnosed infection for I'm not sure how long because I'm not reacting in a typical way to infection. But it's caused inflammatory reactions in my guts, eyes, and heart. The latter has been the scariest. Once we figured out what was going on, I'm now on antibiotics for the infection, anti-inflammatory drops for my eyes, and ibuprofen for everything else. The heart palpitations have calmed down considerably, as have the chest pains. But I've been terrified for almost two weeks, to the point where I sigh in relief when I wake up because hey, you made it through the night, and it's at the point where a minor twinge in my ribs kicks off an adrenaline rush of fear. I'm on my own, and I really feel it late at night, and I could use some good vibes my way if you have any to spare.

I should make it very clear, all of my doctors think this is the kind of thing that's scary to live through but not actually dangerous, and my logical brain understands that. But logic isn't in the driver's seat of my brain at the moment, and my brain is VERY good at spinning out into worst-case scenarios, and sometimes I get very sad and scared, and I talk to my little sister every night, but I can't let her know quite how scared I am, and I just need to get it out of me, you know? Thanks for listening. <3

Right?? This whole week as LC was increasing I saw non stop tears and recriminations because "guys we need to focus on new releases". But somehow LC reaches one billion and now suddeny the new focus is getting every member to 1B. They don't even seem to be that sad that neuron has completely left the chart. It's been 1 week 💀

Anyway the project is doomed to fail like anon said. Many armys nowadays seem to have no concept of how charts or streams work. I don't think most of them have worked out how long it's going to take to get all of them to 1 billion. With the numbers as they are SNTY and LMA would probably be the easiest to get to 1 billion and it would still take at least half an year more to get that done. Reminds me of that one army yesterday who had no idea that the spotify counter is for unfiltered streams or that army from a few weeks back who tried to cover up being an anti by saying let's get LC to 1 billion in 3 days when it still had 20M left to go.

I used to think armys (and other solos) were being deliberately obtuse about things because there's no way they don't see the payola JK got or not know how the hot 100 or radio works but I'm becoming more and more convinced that the armys of today are not the ones from 2018-2021 because they seem to have no clue what's going on most of the time.

Fandom is already divided as hell - with the anti-company stans and boycotts, the pro-company stans demonising other armys, some outright antis masquerading as ot7s and everyone else only being here for bragging rights and fighting other kpop stans, things are not looking good for 2025. BTS better bring their a-game for their next work because if they're planning on skating by with some boring ballad as a title track, weak concept and with all of them sitting on chairs, its going to land them nowhere with the fandom in this state.

All I know is armys better point that finger at themselves if hobi doesn’t chart on hot 100 next week, cause I’ve never seen such a lack of effort for a bts member’s comeback in all my years of being in that fandom.

You’d be correct. A lot of people left with the english trilogy and onward and got replaced by the chart obsessed ones here now. Which sucks cause army twitter was better 2018-2019. It definitely still had it’s issues but armys back then were a lot more useful.

Chair era was the absolute pit. I know it was concentrated around the more ballad type songs but even spring day had choreo. Pair that with both LGO and YTC being dull songs everything was just so lackluster. And after seeing Jimin do smf2 level choreo, having to watch him go back to sitting on chairs would do me in. So I honestly hope that they don’t come back with that. Or them damn white dionysus clown boots!

Random post-COVID update: I got infected for the third time right before Thanksgiving and first tested positive 11/22/2022. I was testing consistently negative after a round of Paxlovid + Paxlovid “rebound” by 12/3/2022. I had an episode of post-exertional malaise and joint pain that following weekend which was triggered by going for drinks with friends on a Friday night and then sprinting close to a mile from the Garment District to catch a train at Grand Central. These are common symptoms of PASC (Long COVID) and I was totally flattened and very grateful it was a weekend because I would have been totally nonfunctional at work. My Adderall dose did nothing. All I could do was lie down and watch TV and sleep.

By that Monday I was OK, so I resumed commuting to work. I spoke to a friend of mine who had Long COVID for about eight weeks after his first acute infection and it was bad enough that his doctor didn’t even want him to fly — his symptoms were primarily respiratory. He’s an avid cyclist and in good physical shape. He saw a LC specialist who advised him that most people return to “normal” levels of physical exercise much too soon after acute COVID recovery and that appears to be a major trigger. The major takeaway is that you need 8-10 weeks of strict avoidance of “real” exercise, anything that isn’t walking around, housework, lifting stuff here and there, and ascending short flights of stairs. She sees a lot of LC in people who are young and were otherwise healthy and physically very active, which she doesn’t think is a coincidence. These people are getting sick, returning to hiking and cycling and running as soon as they feel better, and then wham, they get hit with classic LC symptoms. My friend was prescribed several weeks of sustained bed rest which fortunately he could take due to his job, and he made a full recovery from LC. He’s since resumed cycling and has gradually and carefully built himself back up to more or less where he was prior to infection.

So since my own infection and that bout with PEM and Joint Hurty, I have avoided booze (which is an inflammatory) and taken that advice and I have not done anything to get myself seriously sweating and pumping blood and catching my breath. I have also tried to keep my sleeping and eating schedules regular, with less success (lol). I am going to keep it up through the end of January, and per the advice of LC forums and subreddits I have also been supplementing with antihistamines at night and low dose Aspirin and getting plenty of hydration + electrolytes (mostly drinking Gatorade). It is now 1/8/2023 and I have not had any further flares of intense fatigue or joint pain. My experience is purely anecdotal and I can’t confidently say it will work for everybody, but it has definitely been working for me, so I thought I’d put it out there. Just because you feel you are recovered from COVID does not mean you’re out of the woods for Long COVID — do yourself a favor and be extraordinarily gentle with yourself as long as you possibly can.

Also we saw this ask like four? Five? Hours ago and went Oh Shit No We Don't and have spent the whole time drawing and we were like Oh we should throw our LC alters in there too since this is their blog and their mutuals should know who they're talking to! And then we got distracted and ONLY drew the alters and host's self insert and none of our OC's so :> we'll do that eventually though but we'll also do like another post with more info ANYWAYS here's the art we made of the self insert and the Lethal alters :3

Info for each of us under the cut (also Rend and Anno are heavily derived from a fever dream March had after we got surgery and had complications, as such they have a story and are pretty attached to it so we'll go into that too)

The "Story"/Fever Dream:

There were two crews who led a revolution against The Company about fifty years before the game takes place, and of them were eight people named Experimentation, Assurance, Vow, Offense, March, Rend, Dine, and Titan, and they weren't named after the planets, the planets were named after them. (Rend, March, Assurance, and Vow were on a team with Rend being the captain, and the other team was led by Titan and had Dine, Offense, and Experimentation.) Eventually, the revolution got pretty popular and widespread so The Company gave in and agreed to meet with the two teams to discuss their requests, and at the end of the discussion they promised the requests would take place within the next few weeks. The eight members of the revolution were satisfied and went back to work, but the next day they were given news that due to their conjoined efforts they would have to all split up and join different teams to ensure that they didn't again backstab the company once their requests were fulfilled. They, unfortunately, did not put up a fight against this and within the next quota cycle each of them were abandoned and killed on different, new moons none of them had ever seen before. The company never enforced the things they agreed upon but because the leaders of the revolution were killed before word of the promises got far, and because they mysteriously went missing and had new moons named after them, nobody said anything and nobody acted out against The Company.

Pace:

- Pace is Geno's self-insert OC and he uses He/Him pronouns and is transmasc <3

- He was an employee for The Company AFTER the time of the revolution and worked not as a scrap collector but as a biologist. His team was tasked with finding specific monsters and collecting some bio matter from them to then bring back to The Company. Pace had a rivalry with one of his teammates who was tired of Pace always succeeding, so, he pushed for Pace to receive a Bracken as his quarry and succeeded. However upon arriving Pace was easily able to find the Bracken of Vow (who was actually Vow from the revolution) and collect bio matter from it by befriending it, which enraged his competitor and led to both Pace and Vow being shot. Vow tried to protect Pace after realizing the shot that hit him was not meant for him, but both were too wounded to survive. Vow disintegrated atop of Pace, leaving him and his open wounds covered in Bracken spores, and his competitor left to eventually be killed by a coilhead. Their other two teammates made it out.

- The spores found the decomposing body of a human to be the perfect place to reform and create a new Bracken; that being Pace. Pace spent about twenty years hunting loot bugs and hiding from scrap collectors before a woman named Kite and her captain Calamity found him at the fire exit of Vow. The two found that he was friendly and took him upon their ship, but one of their teammates was appalled at having a "friendly" Bracken and, as they were leaving, pushed Calamity out of the ship in anger, landing her between a dog and a baboon hawk. Pace jumped to rescue her and while he was successfully able to lure the dog away enough for Calamity to safely jump back on the ship, he was grabbed by the Dog and torn to shreds. The ship's autopilot took off while he was fighting the dog and the crew (excluding the asshole) started to panic.

- The next day Vow was eclipsed and, much to Calamity and Kite's disdain, the crew decided to wait for the eclipse to pass before landing back down on Vow and looking for Pace. Meanwhile, Pace had managed to crawl his way back to the fire exit, tumbling down the ravine, and set himself up on a pallet just inside the door. There, sleeping through the whole day, he was able to slowly heal.

- The third and last day of the quota cycle, Calamity's crew got into another argument with Asshole over going to save Pace, and landed at Vow without realizing another team (March's team, as he had already been rescued by a crew by this time) had already landed there. Calamity and Kite rushed in to find Pace while Sail, the crew's navigator and Kite's twin brother, argued with the asshole. The captain of the other crew, who's ship was nearby, overheard an argument about saving a "friendly bracken" and connected the dots that another crew must have found someone like March, their friendly coil-head, and walked out to confront the two. Sail left to help Calamity and Kite find Pace, and the captain (name yet unknown) spoke with the asshole, found out he wanted to kill Pace and attempted to kill his own captain, and promptly hit him over the head with a shovel in order to protect not just his crew, but March as well. The asshole was left there as the captain rushed in to inform his crew of another friendly monster and tell the other crew bus was happy to help, and the asshole was left there to be picked up and carried away by a Giant.

- Pace was eventually found , missing most of his arm, leg, and leaves on his left side, and the two crews met up and became friends. Pace was placed in a large pot covered up to his shoulders in dirt and for the next few quota cycles his crew would place him outside to soak up the sun and look around. Because his arm and leg were fully submerged in the soil and water, they regrew, but his eye never did. He doesn't mind too much though, he can tell when things are looking at him and, in his opinion, that's all he really needs his eyes for. He helps scavenge for scrap and is able to carry two heavy items at a time, however, he can only carry one light item when doing so as it's uncomfortable to hold in his big hands

March:

- March was our first LC alter and has been around since about late October? He's not too conncected to his source and is actually the version of March from our fever dream BEFORE the revolution ended. So though the March in our dream was a coil head by the end of it, our March still thinks of himself as human. Being compared to a coil doesn't bother him though, they're his favorite enemy in the game :) also he's mute and considers himself cis and demiro-ace.

Rend:

- Rend is also one of our alters but is a lot more attached to both the game and the "story" so he has some funky false memories and is a little delulu about it, but he's happy and healthy and aware of reality and not hurting anyone or our system or himself so we don't mind hehe also, Rend is transmasc just like host and his pronouns are he/him but he's trying out they/it

- Rend is of course based on Captain Rend from the "story" but, unlike March, is from AFTER he died and he much prefers being seen as a nutcracker than a human. Our assumption over why is because Rend had actually been a fragment for most of our life who managed family interactions, and since that was all our brain found him fit for he never really gained a personality or sense of self and as such thinks he looks exactly like our host and would probably share the same name and everything. We think subconsciously our brain makes him like being a nutcracker more than a human in order to make it easier to distinguish him and host

- Rend, being much more intrigued by the fever dream likes daydreaming about it a lot, like he's roleplaying in his head in his own, and as such he likes talking about it and thinking about it a lot more than March does. So, here's some things he daydreams about a lot and thinks would be "canon" continuations of the "story"/fever dream:

- Before March's team found Pace and his team, they got to a pretty high quota and started visiting Rend and Dine. One of their first times visiting Rend, Melody, an employee on March's team, found a seemingly deactivated nutcracker deep in the facility. The team had split up so Melody knew she would have to be careful, but she wanted the shotgun so she crept close and clumsily grabbed it, setting it off. This startled here and she backed off, watching in silent horror as the Nutcracker slowly started to move and stand and, eventually, open up and look around. In panic, Melody ran despite being looked at and, for a moment, Rene stood there confuse before he realized he had finally found someone. Forgetting his voice, he chased after her for a bit but she would frequently stop and hold still so he had trouble. Eventually he shouted to her to wait and she paused, turning to look at the apparently able to speak nutcracker just as March had sped up beside her to block the path between her and Rend. Staring down at an employee with his shotgun and a coilhead that was looking at him and not said employee, Rend ran. In instinct, as she had gotten used to March by now, Melody turned and March gave chase. He was scared and angry that the nutcracker had presumably tried to shoot his friend and, upon trying to push the nutcracker to get it to stop running, he sent a surge through its body and caused it to bleed (like how we headcannon them to work, building up pressure in the body's blood). Melody followed a few rooms behind, having trouble keeping up with the two big monsters but, when Rend was hurt he screamed, and Melody knew that wasn't any of her teammates so she picked up the pace. Rend had been cornered but Melody caught sight of March which forced him to stop moving, and tried to rush to the nutcracker when she saw him bleeding, but, turning her back to March Rend panicked and stepped between the two, telling Melody that he wanted to talk to her but couldn't protect her with the state he was in, so she needed to look at the coil head. He was seemingly trying to protect her. For his comfort she did look at March, but tried to assure him to calm down, sit for a little so she could try and tend to whatever part of him was bleeding, and that she would be more than willing to talk. They spoke for a while, Rend having trouble believing that the coil was friendly given how it seemingly tried to explode him, but he let bygones be bygones. Melody and March both started to wonder if this was one of his old friends but they had decided beforehand not to bring it up to any possible teammates without getting a gauge for their mental state, and Rend was very frazzled so they decided to wait to ask his name or story until he calmed down. They gave him back his shotgun, he turned the safety on, and Melody convinced him to open up so she could tend to his bleeding eye, and eventually the three started to make their way back to main in order to meet up with the rest of the team and get Rend out to their ship

- On the way there they met up with the teammate March had been with before he came running after he heard the gunshot, but this teammate was actively running from a thumper. Rend tried to shoot it but missed due to his eye injury and urged the rest of them to run as he'd hold it back as long as possible. The three left and Rend dragged the Thumper around for a bit before it got loose and rocketed down the hallway after the three. Rend, knowing the layout like the back of his hand, took an alternate route to get to main in order to hopefully outpace the thumper. He made it in time to tackle the thumper and send it and him over the balcony railing where they landed near Melody, March, and their other teammate who were actively trying to scare off a Bracken. Rend urged them to head outside and leave for their safety and they did. It took them a while to get back enough money to go back for Rend, and in this time they met Pace and his team. Rend is still actively daydreaming about this all the time so I'm sure he'll infodump about it more another time.

Anno:

- Anno has been around for the least amount of time, we had a major allergic reaction while Rend was fronting and so he spent time curled in a ball daydreaming as he always loves to. For comfort he daydreamed about cuddling a friendly masked, but eventually got so fed up he told our partner, aloud "I really hate this body" and our little asshole of a brain (/lh) essentially went "oh really? New alter be upon ye" and turned that cute little Masked Rend was daydreaming about into a new fragment. Anno has since become more concrete, he's transmasc and uses it/its pronouns, and it's not very interested in Lethal Company but LOVES Rend a lot. It's just kinda gay and likes Minecraft, like those are its things so far. Rend has decided that if Anno was in the "story" it would've been from far before the revolution and was left behind by mistake. That's about it for Anno, it's just kinda a thingy that's very gay

Wow so that's the end of that, I'm incapable of making long stories short apparently tee hee. I've been talking for way too long and I doubt anyone got this far, but this was mostly for us since we're soupy right now and it made us feel grounded. If you got this far Anno gives you a cookie.

Jimin and Jungkook are definitely the most popular members in South Korea. Like look at the positions and streams. Seven is at #1 with over 110K streams and LC is at #2 with 85K, LC Eng Ver at #3, SMF2 at #4, LMA at #7 with 29K and Rainy Days at #10 with 22K streams. Tae's songs will never surpass JKK's streams on Spotify SK and Slow Dancing will definitely get blocked by Seven on its debut and probably even by LC. Like even on Spotify Global LC has surpassed both Tae's songs already when it's been out for 5 months compared to the two weeks Layover's tracks had.

Tae's Instagram popularity and airport crowds can't get him year-end awards and ARMYs will prioritize Jungkook in all award shows that he can win, unless his chances of winning are low (because of not enough data caused by the short tracking period, which Jimin has to his advantage) in which case Jimin will get the awards instead. It seems like Tae's solo stans are too busy arguing with ARMYs and PJMs over low streams instead of pushing harder for Tae. I even suspect a lot of his solo stans unstanned him after the Jennie scandal, especially in Korea, because he used to do so well on K-charts, but not anymore.

I really don’t think Tae is doing bad. He’s got two songs in the top ten, that’s great imo. Why is he only compared to Jk and Jimin and not to everyone else in the list? With several members putting out music at the same time there’s always going to be one of them lower than the others. Tae has more music to come even (soon!) so I think he’s about to have another high ranking song.

dog event rambling.

trying to get my spring dog event calendar laid out. I have top surgery Jan 30, so a lot depends on how I heal from that.

So far, Jan 21 will be Old Mill Stakes lure coursing in GA (for fun, not AKC or ASFA)

then Feb 10-11 is CWA racing in GA, but that's less than 2 weeks post-op so I have no idea if I'll be feeling up to that or not. So it's a Biiiiig Maybe. If I go, I'm sure I can get people to box and catch Stoli for me.

Feb 17-18 is AKC lure coursing in TN. Again, this is less than 3 weeks post op, so it's a big Maybe but I'm going to really try to go. I can find people to slip Stoli for me.

March 2-3 is both CWA racing in GA, and AKC lure coursing in MS. I'd rather do lure coursing than racing, but racing is way closer. So I think it'll come down to 1. if I'm able to make the previous LC or racing meets and 2. how I'm feeling which I choose to go to.

March 27-31 is AKC conformation in GA. I'm not looking forward to trying confo again but I gotta start.. I think that now that Stoli is older, we will make a better team. He also is far more mature looking and muscled up. If I work really hard on training between now and then, hopefully we will have a chance.

April 4-7 is AKC conformation in AL. Not too worried about this one. Low pressure, potential for Stoli to pick up some single points.

April 18-21 is AKC conformation in AL again, but it overlaps with the whippet national which is April 20-27 in TN. I think I'll enter in AL at least the 18th, then head up to TN to the national. Terrified about the national, but I'm only doing lure coursing and conformation, so I'm trying to keep the pressure off myself.

May 9-12 is AKC conformation in GA.

May 18-19 is racing in GA.

June 8-9 is AKC conformation in GA.

Then there's a few months break.

There's also going to be some rearranging because I think there's going to be other lure coursing meets I'll try to make - I'm pretty sure there's a Memorial Day trial in GA that I'd rather do over confo, but we will seeeeee. Busy busy busy and I don't think I'll make every single one of these for both time and financial reasons, lol. I'm just typing it all out to figure out what I want to do.

1. Denied him of 4 MV, to artist who build that fuxking company. While giving their rookies 4 MVs on 1st album, Yoongi and Hobi a documentary and now a world tour. Apparently 4 MVs request is unreasonable, my ass.

2. Lets forget about other international platforms but they Didn't raised a finger against hanteo robbery even if it's their own home country. Still no one knows where that 770K sales went. Conveniently stole his #1 soloist sales record.

3. Didn't sent LC to radio even after mass request from fans and it achieving no1 on BB, left all work to be done by fans. LC had a very big opportunity to go even big but how much fans can do without a single support from agency ?

4. No celebrations or theme cakes like other members, no interviews or hype after No.1 BB like bangtan had during dynamite era. When rest country was celebrating and their share prices shoot up. Even Jimin's dad's friends celebrated while it's silence from his agency.

5. Even his pre orders still not shipped which is affecting charts. It's been a month, mind you. Took days to restore CDs in BTS store. Took days to add LC to This is BTS Playlist, which is the biggest we can have, while haegum was added in a day.

6. Army were begging them about BB situation for 3 WEEKS but no response but conveniently corrected the website just a day before D DAY. No comments regarding his 90%+ sales being deleted while all K media were writing about the BB payola.

7. Cut down his promotion to 10 fucking days leaving even Jimin disappointed and doubtful about his promos. Just to announce a whole new album in a week and killed hype of FACE.

8. Threw him to hands of kpoppies and antis, they were rentlessly attacking him since SMF dropped, articles were written, they were making sexual harassment and rape jokes against him. 'Artist protection' no where to be found. Didn't even took down korean articles or hate blogs.

9. Made him overwork and finish everything within 10 days till he was sick. He attended parties with tapes on his neck and was sick af by end of promos, even on BB hot 100 announcement day.

10. Remember when Filter was removed from iTunes when it began outstreaming ON ? Yeah same thing happened. FACE tied with BTS record for iTunes album IMMEDIATELY next day there was a 'glitch' and FACE falled.

That's an accurate depiction of me rn. I said in a comment and I'll say it here. I love Jimin with everything I own, but I'm gonna need my man to start having some sort of defiance. He doesn't see his potential, fine. But he needs to start prioritising himself. He don't need to be putting others infront of himself all the damn time. Did other members put their shit on hold for his sake? No. He was born to shine...its why he's so hated because he doesn't need to do much and people will gravitate towards him. If YT didn't do what they did SMF and LC would both have over 100M views by now. No seriously think about it. Forget the streamers like u and me. And then that's when the streamers come in. The math does not math no matter how much u try. The fact that LC doesn't even have 50 million views is absolutely ridiculous.

But, I digressed. Back on topic. Hybe did do him dirty. BH been doing him dirty for fucking years. But he stays. If you've been listening. You will notice Suga and Jimin are the two members who've been the most vocal about coming back as 7. I'm not saying the rest don't want that, but Yoonmin do appear to want that the most.

We have seen Jimin refuse to go hard when he's dancing with people who are not as good. The TT he did with TXT he did not even try. He took the cute route. And that's not the only one. VIBE he could have gone harder, but u can see he is holding back because that is not his song, he was a feature. Watch how he dances with Suga versus how he dances with Jhope. U will see a clear difference. Jimin has always, always put other people into consideration. Its why u will see when V is making fun of Jimin he won't stop and keeps going and going. But when Jimin is making fun of V, he will catch himself and stop and admit he has gone to far.

He has always put Bangtan before himself and it sucks. Look at JK "what are they gonna do, fire me?" JK knows the power he holds and uses it and takes advantage of it. He knows he's indispensable. But then so is Jimin and I wish he would follow his boyfriend's lead because this is absurd. Other members have gotten sm and he got so little. How and why was he okay with this?

I would bet my right arm (I'm right handed btw) that he has also put BTS before his relationship and could have been the cause of some of their fights. And u know JK sees whats happening and doesn't like it one bit. BH weren't promoting his man to his satisfaction so JK did a whole live dedicated to Jimin. He said; fine, I'll do it myself.

Just saying: it brings soo much joy seeing someone get excited by Wanda after the whole cinematic experience.

That was my first encounter with the character and it really did not give a good first impression. And it only got worse with how they treated her and her own actor's obliviousness on the character's background (I will never say 'her character', she simply does not deserve that kind of recognition from me - yes, I am spiteful).

I do not know much about her 616 storyline, nor midnight for that matter, but despite that complete lack of knowledge I enjoy seeing you post about her. I may have originally come here for the Venom stuff but really anything you decide to share is what I stay here for.

Hi anon! Thank you for your kind words; Wanda really was one of the first characters I got into with Marvel, long long before I cared about anything arachnid-themed (unless it was Julia Carpenter, since she was one of Wanda's teammates, haha). I'm fortunate that I met her character via comics (thanks to my friend who dragged me to the LCS) so that got to be my first impression.

Wanda's an interesting character to try to get into, since she's so strongly tied to the Avengers. She didn't get a solo of any decent length until 2015... but I highly recommend checking out Scarlet Witch by James Robinson if you can. It's not perfect, but it's very good and it has a lot of nice art by different artists. It's a fun series!

A lot of people who like That™ version of the character seen in certain films and a mediocre television show will talk about "feats" and "power" and all that even in terms of the comics, but honestly I think all of that is a load of bull. Wanda's greatest moments have always been where she follows her heart, but also her head. She's a veteran Avenger, she's one of the most compassionate characters ever, she has had epic highs and some very low lows... but she always pulls through.

And when you get a good writer that really does her justice? Oh, that's just peak. That's the best.

On the note of Midnight Suns, they kind of... tried? Like, it's hard to explain. It's not great, and I would prefer her hair to be several shades darker, but it could be worse, as far as adaptations go?

EDIT 8/4/2023: I previously criticized the game here for using Romanian for Wanda - this was a mistake on my part as it's been pointed out that she has spoken Romanian in the comics but it does not mean she is intended to be Romanian. I've also learned it's commonly spoken in the region Wanda is from. To my friend who pointed out my mistake, you have my thanks!

Anyways, I'm glad you've continued to stick around even as I've expanded beyond just Venom-posting. I confess, though, I've often thought about what it would be like to smash my two little interests here together... I think particularly in Midnight Suns-verse (mixed with a little 616, of course) Venom and Scarlet Witch could have an interesting conversation. (Let's be real, I'll probably write it.)

I also think about Poisoned!Scarlet Witch a lot. I think about the universe where she was Venom... what that must have been like... what their symbiosis was... many thoughts. I bet their joined form was awesome. Wanda has great style.

1. I do agree his FACE performances, especially Studiochoom was a lil subdued. But then we have to understand he filmed everything in a week. During Studiochoom he couldn't even complete the full schedule and had to go to hospital without filming SMF, that's the reason he didn't had behind the scenes either. For music shows he was assuring staff that he can do this one more day. It's so sad that his health is not corporating with his passion, poor thing. But even then his stages were 10x better than JK's stages 🤷

2. Like you said he just debuted with his 1st album, self made album, ever. He is used to work in groups since he was a kid. Even if he used to do solo stages it was under the umbrella of bts. Now that he's all alone, he's basically a rookie who did his album A to Z all by himself. He's meeting new people, he's giving interviews all by himself and we know he's NOT AT ALL comfortable in doing that and he mentioned it in all shows he went. He's nervous, he's shy, he basically became a wallflower after pandemic.

3. Pretty sure, next performance will be God tier given he said he's improving himself. I'm waiting and praying he'll do a MAMA stage and eat everyone up lol. That's the same reason why his dday LC performance was so captivating. One, his health got so much improved than promo times. Two, if he promises he'll improve 101% he's gonna show it on stage next time lol.

4. I like taemin's performance. But for me, Jimin has more charisma and grace than hobi which makes his performances more appealing to wider audience. His songs also contribute largely towards it. BUT that said do I think Jimin can deliver that lolla stage like hobi did ? Nope. But will he do it in 2-3 years ? ABSOLUTELY. Give baby time yall. Let him produce more music, let him be comfortable in his own music sound, let him learn to dominate the stage and audiences all alone.

I did notice the Jk shade, though.

Jimin's whole promo was so rushed that it must have been hard for him to catch a break. We even have to take into consideration that he performed with new dancers in Jimmy Fallon's show and his debut stage wasn't in his "homeland". Little things like that matter but once you reach a certain level, you can eat up any stage no matter the circumstances.

I also take into consideration that he was telling a very personal story. It wasn't just a whatever song. But a song that showed his deep feelings during a vulnerable time in his life.

And yes, Jimin has an extra something that other artists don't usually have. On stage charisma is something very unique to Jimin. The eyes follow him even if he is just standing there.

Hey Ahmed! Bit of a weird ask this time around. I was thinking about my current circumstances and was wondering about silly scenarios with the AiP cast. If X went to get a supermarket going with Ayin, would it succeed in the city? Ignoring the head's taboos regarding X, they could sell scientific products like a modified de-ager, or use their own singularity (I believe L corp's was making figments of the mind reality?) to create marketable goods. What do you think they'd sell? And to who?

Oooh, a new type of question! How pleasant, I always enjoy these asks. As always, it's a pleasure to see your asks!

As for your question, I think that X and Ayin would've probably tried to get a supermarket going in one of three scenarios: 1) They were expelled out of the Library and needed a way to survive and they found a method to conceal X's nature from the Head. 2) They needed a way to infiltrate the City from the Outskirts and a supermarket where people from all walks of like entered and bought their stuff was a good solution. 3) After the hypothetical operation by Angela to enter the City and defeat the Head succeeds, they need some method of gaining their livelihood. Assuming, of course, they don't get rich as celebrities who saved the City.

However, I think your ask pertains more to the first two scenarios, considering the Head is around and they need to find a workaround for X, or Ayin, to not be hunted down, and I honestly think that despite how 'normal' it may seem, their supermarket will be...

...A regular supermarket. Think about it; after years and decades of insane plans and inventions that break the boundaries of what was possible, I think the two of them would be more than content running a regular supermarket with food, cleaning supplies, maybe some electronics here and there and a repair section for electrical and electronic appliances...It would be calm, it would be quiet, and it would be exactly the sort of the thing they need after leading such hectic lives.

Alternatively, it could be the only thing they can run while attempting to cope with the amount of stress they're going through in order to keep up whatever workaround they found to hide X's clone nature and it's the only thing their limited budget would allow them to run. The amount of people who would need to shop their would allow them to form connections with all sorts of Fixers, Syndicates, etc. so it would be a good way to collect intelligence in the second scenario.

But of course, considering who we're talking about, it can't be too normal. I'm sure there will be some inventions here and there as you said. Maybe they'd even have a 'Invention of the Day/Week' section where they'd present toned-down inventions that, while making like easier, don't radically alter the fabric of reality.

For example, I think that, as you said, they might sell a miniature De-Ager that doesn't also wipe out the memory of the user, unlike what happened in AiP, which can be used to remove wrinkles and perhaps scars form the body, though it doesn't reverse ageing as a whole, just the physical aspects it leaves on the body. Maybe they'd also sell dream-catchers that materialise the dreams people have into holographic versions which can be later observed at any time, very useful for composers and writers, though not being able to actually materialise them unlike LC technology. Maybe they'd also be able to create some self-defence equipment to help residents against Sweepers invading their homes or create homing saws fired from a dedicated gun that aims at the Sweepers' vital cords, etc.

Overall, they'd create very useful but not overly spectacular items that can help common folk and Fixer and Syndicates alike, though they'd likely spend weeks if not months thinking of all of the ways they could be exploited for bad and attempt to patch out any misuse methods that would render their otherwise useful inventions into tools that aid in the perpetuation of the City's cycle.

As to who they'd sell it to...I think they'd be very specific about who they sell their inventions to. I mentioned Syndicates before, but those will get the inventions that make life easier, not aid the user or incapacitate the user's targets. They cannot refuse to sell their supermarket goods to anyone, otherwise that might earn them enemies or suspicions, but they'd only give the inventions to people who they deem morally upright...at least, whatever morally upright means in the City. I also believe they'll keep tracking devices on their gizmos and gadgets to see if they were stolen or otherwise being misused.

Ollie was voted Homecoming King after making a joke about promising everyone free drugs of his own stash (he did deliver).

Ollie & Monty decided to move their drug supply off campus once they realized that the cops were not leaving. It's now located in a house that is under New Construction.

Ollie got a clue with flight information to Portugal from the Haunted House. It matched with Parker's and the two of them turned them anonymously turned the info into the police thinking they'd do something with it. They haven't really.

Ollie was asked by the Naïve Newcomer (before he was expelled) if he could start looking into who this mysterious "G" person was. He did and all of his findings lead to Milo Navarro. Turns out he was wrong though, whoops.

Like everyone who turned one in, his time capsule video was leaked, where he may or may not have been admitting to having feelings for Monty. Who is to say what he was saying.

The cops decided to trust him after his interrogation went well. A bad decision on their part.

He was trapped in The Ski Chateau's kitchen pantry with Milo while Penny mysteriously died. He's pretty fucking shaken up about it.

Ollie threw a party with Link and Mari for their birthdays. Ollie left with Link and got a tattoo of his initials on his wrist.

At the Valentine's Social Ollie was sent a Valentine from G telling him if he sent a secret they would send him a clue. He sent a secret, he hasn't gotten anything back yet though.

During the Valentine's Social Ollie sent a vaguely illicit Valentine to Link that G then sent to Monty. It caused the two of them to fight and they stopped talking to each other over Spring Break.

While Ollie was going through the House of Mirrors at the Spring Carnival he saw and heard someone that sounded like Greer. This is the SECOND time he thinks he's seen Greer and it's getting creepy.

During the Spring Carnival Ollie apologized to Monty and confessed that he wanted them to date. Monty asked Ollie out and they started dating. Aw.

Ollie was sent a text from G to attend a Rave. First he was sent to a cemetery with Ash who might or might not think he's G now, but he doesn't know that.

At the Rave he and Anya attempted to put their brains together to find G but that lasted about five minutes before G said they were stupid (not what G actually said, but they might as well) and then sent everyone home.

Commencement happened at the end of the year and Ollie would rather not think about it.

He was on the second floor of the Commons talking to Eddie when it was set on fire, and he managed to escape with only a little smoke inhalation (but he's been training for that for years) so he was fine.

It was after when he got a text telling him that The Pollyanna, a friend and neighbor of his since they were children, had been arrested and was being blamed for the Fire, being G, Greer's disappearance, and the deaths that happened. He's been pretty fucked up over it.

He and Monty went on a poorly timed road trip over the summer and it went poorly ending in them breaking up.

Back at school and Ollie has been made Homecoming King for the second year in a row! Yay! The year is off to a great start.
