I have managed to finish this wip at last!!

this one has taken countless hours off of my life time to get done, but I am very proud of myself for pulling through in the end! it appears there won't be another piece of art joining my endless collection of unfinished sketches after all :D

I experimented with a somewhat unconventional colour scheme for this drawing (at least unconventional for my standards), since I rarely work with cyan unless I'm drawing hatsune miku, the queen of turquoise herself!

by the way, you do not want to know how many attempts it took for tumblr to upload this artwork. it was a 15-minute struggle just to get the finished piece into the draft TvT

I have decided to like. Write every now and then tiny dialouges to each oc post, I feel like its silly ik some again wont like it but yk

THIS IS A REMAKE OF AN OLD DRAWING FROM A WHILEEEE AGO! From like... may 2022 so almost 2 years ago... he looks so much better Im really happy on how i improved, especially about the colors i feel like i did a good job there

I decided that Zerachiel on occasion used to go to a specific bar to get a quick drink in before leaving, occasionally chatting with the staff there too since hes basically a regular there!

And yesssss hes a Strevian, I KNOW he looks rather plain but hes a lower class, not like one of the other teammates in his group, Floryn, who is much higher in class and has a more vibrant color pallete. I really wanted to give strevians a pallete that resembles birds, and i always imagined Zerachiel as a hawk or barn owl, so i went with a combo of the two when i remade him a bit ago!!!

Whumpril Day 11: Can't Sleep

CW: wing whump, magic whump, captivity, drugging mention

Shut in the witch’s cellar, Oryn lies awake on his pallet, surrounded by the choking, sickly-sweet scent of old magic. It makes his eyes water and his nose sting slightly. And, somehow, it makes him miss the circus. Though he stayed only a couple of days before the witch bought him, though they drugged him and treated him roughly, at least he had a clean bed and fresh air.

Then he rolls onto his side, and the rope fastened around his ankle tightens, and his bound wings crunch painfully under him.

The flame of the single candle next to him wavers in his vision, and a face swims into his mind. The other boy whose gaze he’d caught as he was forced to his knees when Griffin had first acquired him. The boy with white hair and red eyes. Immortal, he’d heard. The Immortal Resurrecting Boy. The boy that everyone had come to see. That could have been Oryn, with his ethereal, iridescent wings and near-white skin.

But instead, Oryn is trapped here, alone, with only a candle and leaping shadows for company.

Something thumps in the dark. A footstep. Then another. His heart skips a beat and starts to race. Maybe the witch is coming to check on him. He glances at the rope on his ankle, tethering him to a wooden pole, as if that will protect him. Another footstep, clumsy-sounding and hollow. Oryn holds his breath.

The smell of magic changes and grows stronger, morphing from sickly sweet to light and dreamy, like lavender and vanilla. He finds he can’t look away from the flickering candle, transfixed by its dancing, rhythmic movement. Dimly, he hears the footsteps grow louder and closer, but as much as he wants to look, he can’t tear his eyes away from the flame and dancing shadows.

No, stop, cries a small voice in the back of his mind. It’s a spell, you’re under a spell, you can’t let it take you…

Something touches his shoulder. He doesn’t jump. He can’t.

“Sleep now,” comes a gentle but strangely wooden voice. “You need to sleep, before it’s too late.”

As Oryn succumbs to the magic and slips into a deep, dreamless sleep, he sees someone. A girl, bending over him, the hem of her ragged dress brushing the tips of his bound wings.

A girl with the face of an expressionless doll.

blue is honestly such a pretty colour! I'd say it is my second favourite after purple, which may also be due to their similar appearance lol

Today I’ll be show my all time favorite character <3.

His names Seers, or Prince Seer of the Redeyes.(Redeyes are my made up species that are still in a lot of development)

Small facts about Seer

•Seer is the third child of King Hemlock and Queen Onyx (both of who are dead)

•Seer has a distant relationship with his siblings since he wasn’t allowed near them as he was third child (third children aren’t treated well and so he was forced to the other side of the castle to study) but he and his Sibs are trying to form a better relationship.

•With his gem he is able to see the future but since he wasn’t taught by actual All Seeing RedEyes like himself it is very limited and brings him bad migraines. He tried keeping this a secret from his father but he soon found out and forced Seer to learn so he could use him to spy on the enemy (Aka BlueEyes) this didn’t really go well…

•he can see snippets of the future! Though due to no proper training he can’t do it well. And it leads to prolonged migraines.

•he enjoys gardening, he could name you a plant and give you small fact if he knows it well enough! He will also go on long rants about his favorite plants.

•he has a pet owl cat name Loaf! These two are always found near one another.

•Seer is trying to repair his relationship with his siblings, it’s going well :]

•Seer enjoys Romance movies. He bas watched over a hundred of them- when he started watching them, it was how he started to come to terms with himself that he was bisexual Lmfao.

•He’s learning how to draw and Dance.

•He likes keep a good appearance (he always keeping his fluff and feathers nice and clean and clothes in good condition)

•He calm, and soft spoken. But he can get pretty nervous when someone new talks with him. But once you get to know him he’s always excited to learn new things, still calm, but is willing to show how he really is!
