I could NOT get it to look right #so for reference!!! just so you guys understand!!!!!! thats what that panel is supposed to be!!! he is NOT in fact a ghost. The summary of Fellowship at the beginning is a nice touch. Really helped on my first read when I took a year between the books.

That title! It is... cunning, because it really does not tell you he's going to die - but when you know...

What is the... "great bird like an eagle" that Aragorn *perhaps* sees? It probably means something? But idk what.

Aragorn being uncertain what to do, saying "all I do goes amiss" etc more than once goes a long way towards humanising him -- without resorting to such tricks as the movies used, and with far better effect than the wishy-washy "oh, woe, I am the heir of Isildur, but I don't wanna be"

hey everyone sorry for the silence, i was trying very hard to catch up with school work that i didnt manage to hand in on time. anyway i made a full body 3d model of my oc lucifer for a digital sculpting assignment :)

i posted a lot of the making process of this on twitter and i’ve also compiled everything into a moment that you can find here! go take a look if youre interested in watching me and lucifer suffer <3

(and also bonus dmc5 render looking pic of him bc a friend asked me to do it as a joke. my son is a dmc5 character now)

#he took abt 1 month and half to finish bc not only was i new to modeling and sculpting humans i also kept procrastinating lmao #i learned a lot though! and despite almost having multiple mental breakdowns over this it was fun #it was always a dream of mine to make my own 3d model of an oc so this is literally a dream come true im very happy for lucifer #i'll definitely be doing more with his model in the future; im planning to optimize it (bc the polycount is like. 8mil) and then rig it #so i can make him do all sorts of cool poses. maybe even mod him into some games. like idk. dmc5. who knows #anyway thats all from me for this week im fucking tired and i need to rest. i literally stayed up to 2am for two days just to finish him lol #i'll go back to posting art soon hopefully </3 #my ocs #lucifer(oc)#how should i tag this so i can find him easier in the future...#lucifer becomes 3d #yea ok there we go i'll just use that. if i ever post any more 3d stuff with him i'll use that tag lmao #okay now lucifer's gonna hibernate for 3 months after the suffering i put him through and im gonna go back to drawing. see u guys later <3

aw thanks!! i'm glad you like him!

he was an oc for an rp community (near-future setting with superpowers+dungeons and the characters were all gathered to do an apocalyptic dungeon crawl where if they fail to clear this particular set the whole world goes boom) and his superpower was to basically turn into a giant, 10' tall wolf (he was a tank role)

he's got a lot of social anxiety and a complex about being Monstrous, he lost control once when he was 16 and accidentally killed people while fighting some escaped dungeon creatures. he did get disowned for that and was homeless for a long time but with help now has his GED and a very tiny studio apartment. for now he has a day job (night stocker at the local supermarket) and a side job ("hunter", which is the term for people who clear dungeons). after the community plot ended and everyone got Extremely Famous he cut his hair and grew a beard and disappeared into northern minnesota to do logging work for a year because he could Not handle the media presence

his favourite food is grilled cheese and tomato soup/tamales, and lives mostly off of kraft dinners. he can't eat meat/mushrooms/similarly textured foods because he does remember what it's like to tear someone apart with your teeth.

his clothes are pretty exclusively hoodies and sweatpants + some band tees. his secret background story for the comm was that he was a hugeass nerd and enjoys both anime and ttrpgs...his formative anime is probably nge and i did throw in some taz refs while playing haha

what else...his music tastes are half metal, half anime+jpop

everyone got a Small Creature at the beginning of the community plotline so his is a very small manta ray named pancake! she is his Baby. he got her a hat shaped like a pat of butter.

wow it's been like 84 years since i last talked about an oc anywhere so this was like....kind of like getting back onto a bicycle except i also haven't ridden a bicycle in 84 years and my legs want to know if they're really supposed to move like this

#personal #just setting in that I'm going to be onto the next chapter of my life in 20 days #the completion of my condo purchase is on the 4th. possession on the 5th #mailing most of my stuff to myself #shipping the rest #in 20 days I'll be on a plane. hopefully with my cat #and I'll be completely free #rn I'm stressed as fuck trying to organize everything #but once I get off the plane. it's done. it's all over #just passed by a post that was talking about how great early mornings are #and I went. oh wait. oh fuck. I'm going to be able to look outside again soon #I'm going to have a beautiful view where I'll never have to close my blinds bc I'm 12 fucking stories up #I still have a bunch of shit to deal with but it's manageable you know?#I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. all of this has been worth it
