His sweet little moans sound so delicious in her ear that it almost seems right to be touching him like this.
Oh, and how sweet he looks. Her forensics professor leans against his desk, big arms gripping the edge of it as his pants rest at his ankles. His cock is red and achy in her hand as she rubs the tip of him with her palm.
He stays still for the most part, but boy does he make faces. His mouth dropped open, eyes scrunched closed as she whispers foul mouthed things in his ear. He whines when she kisses him firmly on the mouth, feverently pressing his lips against hers like a man starved. She pulls away from him with a small chuckle.
“Concentrate, professor.“
“Please,” he murmurs, breathless. Her thumb rubs over his cockhead and he fucks into her hand with shallow thrusts. “Please, baby— I can’t—“
“You can,” she coos. His glasses fall crooked on his nose, and she kisses him on the cheek before setting them straight. “Come on, professor Graham, don’t you want to be a good boy for me?”
The sound he makes is borderline pornographic. He nods, because yes, he wants to be a good boy for her, he wants it more than his next breath. He bites his lower lip to muffle his sounds— it’s a lunch break, and anyone could walk in.
“Look at you, honey,” she sighs out, hypnotized by the pre cum spilling over her fist. “You’re so wet. Practically dripping down my hand.”
“It’s.. it’s because you’re making me feel so good,” he breathes out. His hand reaches out to wrap around the wrist stroking him, and he doesn’t know if he wants her to stop or keep going because his brain has turned to complete mush. He assumes the latter, because he can feel his orgasm rapidly approaching when she twists her wrist a certain way. “You’re making me feel so good. Fuck— “He tilts his head back, eyes rolling. “ I’m— I’m close. I’m gonna—“
Her hand stops, pulls away from him so suddenly that he lets out a choked sob. Not again.
“No!” He whines, and reaches out to grab her fingers and put them back where they belong. She slaps his hand away.
“Did I say you could do that?” she asks, scolding. “Put your hands on the desk. Don’t fucking touch me, ever.”
He wants to scream. But his obedience doesn’t waiver now, and he digs his fingernails into the wood of the table. She smiles at this, her hands trailing up to his hips and squeezing them.
“You’re so pretty,” she praises, and tilts her head. “It’s too bad you’re such a brat.”
“I’m not.” he replies under his breath, almost annoyed. But not really— he could never be annoyed with her.
“What was that?”
“Nothing.”
“That’s what I thought,” she says, before wrapping her hand around him again. He sighs in relief, his cock so red that it’s almost purple. How long has it been since they begun this? Thirty, maybe forty minutes? He should be concerned about getting caught, but right now he’s too far gone to care.
There she goes again. Bringing Will to the edge, denying him. Over, and over, and over. Until some semblance of mercy is cast upon the poor man when he sees her pull down the front of her skirt. She tugs the waistband of her underwear open so he can see the top of her mound, and she directs the tip of his cock right above it. She jacks him feverently, telling him to squirt all over her aching pussy.
Will is excited, almost relieved of all of his fucking issues when she says this. It’s all going great— until the sound of a doorknob jingling reverberates through the room.
Panic surges through Will. He had locked the door (thank god), but now the person on the other side begins to knock.
He thought she would panic. She doesn’t.
“Better cum now, professor,” she teases, batting her eyelashes, and he bites into his wrist. “Cmon, baby, I’m finally letting you cum. Is a little audience really giving you cold feet?”
“(Y/N), I swear to God—“
“Will?”
He hears a voice from outside, one that seems to be looking for him.
Jack Crawford. He’s getting edged by one of his students, and the person to come knocking on his classroom door is Jack fucking Crawford. His forehead bumps against hers and his mouth falls open.
He can’t help what happens next. Maybe it’s all the pent up sensations, or the way her pussy looks so delectable and she’s begging for him to cum all over it— maybe it’s the fact that he might get caught. But the man’s mouth drops open, drool seeping out of the corner of it, and he finally, finally reaches his peak.
He practically drenches the girl’s panties, glazes the inside with sticky white and fights the urge to yell how thankful he is. She strokes him through his orgasm, a grin on her face at the sight of his spend coating her. The knocking sounds louder, but fuck it feels so good that Will could care less.
She pulls her hand away when he comes down. She smiles, her lips grazing the shell of his ear.
“Good boy,” she whispers, and he shudders.
“Will?” Jack’s voice sounds again, concerned almost. “Are you in there?”
The girl shakes her head— a signal. There’s a smile on her face as she sees Will’s distraught face. He stays silent.
It isn’t long before Jack leaves, going off elsewhere to find him. He hears retreating footsteps, and breathes a sigh of relief. Looking at her, his jaw clenches tight.
“Why did you do that?”
She shrugs. “Why not?”
He wants to be angry, but all he’s thinking about is the load that’s drying in her underwear. She kisses his cheek before she skips to the door, vacant on the other side.
“See you tomorrow, professor.”

A Soldier I Will Be; Treech
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing - Treech x mentor!reader summary - your one goal was to get him out of the arena, you didnt care what the Capital thought of you words - 2.54k warning - fluff! note - I am actually in love w Treech, there isn't enough fanfics about him on the internet so I decided to write my own! part 2 part 3
Tumblr media
The day arrived for the reaping of the 10th annual Hunger Games, and you were far from excited. The games are cruel and unfair to district citizens, and your values set you apart from the heartless enthusiasm displayed by many in the Capitol.
Walking into the giant room filled with Academy students, you heard the whispers of those you passed. You learned to ignore everyone after years of being treated differently, but there were only two people you could tolerate: Sejanus Plinth and Coriolanus Snow.
“Ms. Graham, I'm glad you made it after all.” Sejanus Plinth, the only other person open about their hatred for the games.
“Oh, you know they would drag me into this either way, Sejanus.” He had previously warned you that the Plinth prize would not be awarded that day, and in its place, something that goes against everything the two of you stood for.
Although you voiced your opinions, you were still a capital sweetheart. As you come from one of the oldest and richest families in the capital, you were expected to act a certain way, despite your rebellious spirit.
Sitting between Coriolanus and Sejanus, you heard a throat being cleared, signaling the beginning of the reaping. Casca Highbottom, the one and only creator of Hunger Games, chugged down a vial of what looked to be morphling.
“The prize is a bit different this year. The top performing students will each receive a tribute, only one, and whichever tribute… performs the best, will receive the prize. Winning is set aside but will be taken into consideration…”
So this is what the capital had planned—put the capital kids in charge of the district kids? You couldn’t help but feel horrible for Sejanus, coming from the districts, he was bound to be given a tribute from his old home, District 2.
Dean Highbottom started announcing which student would mentor what district. When it came to Sejanus, you were right; they gave him the District 2 male tribute. Reaching over, you grabbed his hand in hopes of providing a sense of comfort. On multiple occasions, he has expressed to you how being from the districts has affected him.
“District 7 male,” you heard Highbottom pause before looking up to you, “belongs to Ms.Graham.”
Making your way to the big screen in front of you, you saw your tribute. He was staring straight into the camera, almost like he could sense you were watching him. ‘Treech’, you read below his figure. You couldn’t help but smile, but it was soon replaced with a frown once you saw the condition he was in.
You took in the image of the boy; he seemed your age—maybe 17 or 18? The hat he wore looked bent out of shape and covered his dark eyes. He looked as if he were about to scream or cry, and he was trying his hardest to act tough in front of his district. All you felt was pity and a sense of needing to help him survive.
After all the mentors were given their tribute and a speech from Dr. Gaul, the head gamemaker, the ceremony was brought to an end. Sejanus was called by his father, and he bid you goodbye. “I’m going to the tributes train arrival, and you’re coming with me." You jumped at the sudden voice and turned around to see Coriolanus staring at you.
“And why would I?” You crossed your arms, unsure why he wanted you, of all people, to accompany him. Sure, you were friends, but you didn’t exactly see eye-to-eye on things, often bickering while Sejanus was there to calm you both down.
“The peacekeepers will let me in if you are with me,” he explained, knowing that most peacekeepers know not to mess with you. “They won’t turn you down; you’re the capital’s top sweetheart.”
It’s true; every peacekeeper knew of your existence and obeyed you in fear of upsetting your father. You didn’t like to take advantage of your capital status, but it did come in handy when you got into trouble.
“Fine,” you agreed, “but only on one condition: you leave me and my tribute alone.” Coriolanus nodded his head and explained that you two would meet at the train station the next morning before school.
₊˚。⋆❆⋆。˚₊
Arriving at the station, you walked up to Coriolanus, who was already waiting there with a white rose in his hand. Groups of peacekeepers were stationed every few feet. Guns in hand, ready to shoot at any kind of violent nature.
A loud whistle was heard, causing your head to snap towards the track, where a large mechanical train began to slow. Once the train pulled into the station, you took notice of the carriages; there were 12, one for each district. The peacekeepers that once stood still were now making their way towards the train. Slowly, they began to open the carts, and tribute after tribute came out. As each tribute climbed off the train, you were on the lookout for ‘Treech’.
Passing by each cart and watching each pair climb down, you eventually found the pair from District 7. Lamina, whom you remembered as Pliny’s tribute, noticed you as you walked up to her. Her eyes were red from the tears that hadn’t stopped falling. You gave her a warm smile, which she returned, except there was a sad look in her eye.
“Who are you?” A voice called out from next to Lamina, and your face turned to see your tribute. He had placed a protective hand in front of his district partner, like you were going to hurt her. You felt sad at the fact that he thought you would hurt either of them.
Reaching your hand out, you told him your name, “But everyone calls me by my last name, Graham, so it’s up to you!” As he looked at your hand, hesitant to shake it, you realized you hadn’t explained why you were there. "Oh, right, I’m your mentor. Thought it was the right thing to come and introduce myself as you arrived in the capital."
“Well, I don’t need no mentor. I don’t want your help." He spat with a look of disgust in his eyes, causing you to lower your hand and stare awkwardly at the ground. You heard Lamina whispering to him something about how he should be nice to you. Looking up, you smiled at her again as a sign of thanks for being kind to you, even though she didn’t know you.
“I don’t have to be nice to her, Lamina, she’s from the capital." He looked at you up and down as if trying to prove his point with your outfit. You could understand why he was acting like that—if you were in his spot, you wouldn’t trust anyone from the capital.
“I am just here to help you; I don’t mean any harm." You saw his face start to soften but quickly change back to his sour expression once two peacekeepers appeared behind you and began to drag the pair towards a big van being filled with the other tributes. The two stared at you as you began to chase after them.
“Hey, where is that van taking them?" You called out to a peacekeeper, who just rolled his eyes and walked away from you. “Don’t ignore me.” Before you could walk back up to them, you felt someone grab your arm. You were ready to hit whoever it was, but you realized it was only Coriolanus.
“Just wait; once the peacekeepers aren’t looking, we will sneak into the van.” You nodded softly, praying that you were able to be by Treech’s side the entire time.
As you made your way into the van, you were pushed to the ground as it started to move. You saw many of the tributes staring at you and Coriolanus as the two of you stuck out like a sore thumb with your bright red uniforms. The tributes had threatened to attack the two of you, one of them even grabbing Coriolanus by his shirt. Fortunately, Lucy Gray stepped in for Coriolanus as Treech pulled you up off the floor once he saw you sitting there, afraid for your life. He stayed standing in front of you, with Lamina behind you, instead of going back to his spot, standing with his hand grabbing the bar above his head.
There was a sudden stop, causing everyone in the van to jerk forward before it began to tip over. Once the doors opened, everyone flew out, falling on the hard rocks. You groaned as you tumbled down, and you ended up landing next to Treech, who groaned as well. Noticing his hat was no longer on his head, you looked around before crawling to grab it for him. He muttered a quick thank you as he took it from your grasp.
“Where are we?” He questioned, seeming confused about where they were dumped. As you fully took in your surroundings, you gasped. The tall bars and the animal-like environment—they dumped everyone in the Capital Zoo.
“They are keeping you in the zoo? You guys are not animals. How could they do this?” You were beyond outraged. They force them to fight each other to death and don’t even give you a decent sleeping place.
Turning to Treech, you kept apologizing over and over, “I am so sorry about this; I had no idea they were going to keep you here.” He looked like he did when you saw him at the reaping, as if he were about to cry.
"Well, look over here; is that another Academy student I see?” The two of you turned your heads to see Lucky Flickerman and his camera crew on the opposite side of the bars. It looked as if he had just finished talking to Coriolanus and Lucy Gray. "Ahh, isn’t it, Ms. Graham? You're certainly a favorite here in the  capital." You couldn’t tell if he was being sarcastic or not; either way, you walked over to him, dragging Treech behind you, who was protesting the action.
"Hello, Lucky, it is nice to see you again. Have you met my tribute yet? Treech, here, is quite the gentleman." You continued to talk him up to the camera while he just stood there behind you.
“It was amazing to speak to you, and thank you for introducing Treech to us, but it seems as if you are about to be whisked out of the cage.” He warned you as you turned around to see a peacekeeper making his way to you as another made his way to Coriolanus. To try and avoid any more violence, you stepped away from Treech as a sign of your cooperation, but the peacekeeper still grabbed you with a great deal of force.
“Don’t touch her like that." Treech yelled as the peacekeeper tightened his grip on your arm, “You’re going to hurt her.”
“They won’t even dare to hurt me; don’t you worry about me." You called after him as he looked at you with fear in his eyes. Lamina had to hold his arm to warn him not to go after you. “Take care of yourself; I will be back later today." The last thing you saw before you were forced to exit the enclosure was Treech giving you a hesitant smile. It was barely noticeable, but, you know, it took a lot for him to do it.
₊˚。⋆❆⋆。˚₊
Unfortunately, you weren’t able to make it after school like many of your other classmates. By the time you arrived at the zoo, it was dark and everyone was already gone.
“Treech, where are you?” you whisper-yelled for him as you made your way to the bars. “I’m sorry I couldn’t make it earlier in the day; my father did not like the little stunt I pulled. I had to sneak out to be here.” As he made his way to where you were, you started to pull packages of food and water out of your bag.
“Did you bring anything for me?” He asked, sitting down, once he saw you cross your legs on the floor.
“I sure did. Tons of stuff." You began to list off everything you brought. “I even brought enough for Lamina, so be sure to share with her.” As you handed him everything, he turned around and tossed some of it into her lap.
“Did her mentor stop by?” You nodded your head towards Lamina. You were curious to see if Pliny would actually take on his role as a mentor or just sit back and let you do it, knowing you cared for them.
“He did for a few minutes, but she didn’t speak to him,” he sighed, remembering the event that occurred a few hours prior. “She only wanted to speak to you. She seems to trust you, but how do I know I can?” He asked, taking a bite of the cookie you brought him.
"Well, for starters, I made that cookie you are eating, and I don’t bake for just anyone,” you said as he bit into it again. “Secondly, I care about you. I don’t agree with how the capital treats the district.”
He looked at you like he didn’t expect you to feel that way. “You better not be lying to me, sweetie. Are you sure you aren’t in it for the money? We heard that man mention it to his camera earlier.”
“Oh, I don’t care for the prize; even if I win it, it just ties me down to the capital like I owe them something, and that is the last thing I want when I try and escape this hell.” One day, you were going to leave the capital; you truly were not meant for this place. You explained to him that you wanted to hide out in one of the districts and live out your life away from the capital.
“Whose side are you on? Are you a saint or a sinner, Ms. Graham?” He shot you a look before continuing. “I have a feeling the way you treat me isn’t going to be liked by the capital. I’ve grown quite fond of you, so I’d hate to see them turn against you in the comfort of your own home.”
“I don’t care if the capital hates me for protecting you. It doesn’t matter if they won’t take me back, Treech; all I care about is getting you out of this.” You grabbed his hand through the bar to provide comfort. At that moment, he knew you weren’t lying, but just for safe measure, you spoke up again.
“I’ll throw away my status, just to keep you safe.”
The relationship between you and Treech evolved from mentor and tribute to something deeper. Bonds formed in the face of distress were not easily broken, and you both found strength in each other.
As the 10th annual Hunger Games continued, the Capitol was about to witness a different kind of uprising—one fueled by empathy, compassion, and a shared desire for freedom. And at the center of it all was the unexpected alliance between a Capitol sweetheart and a district tribute determined to defy the odds.

Chapter 1: "Running Up That Hill"
“Agent Kennedy, may I repeat that  you are too unstable for another overseas mission–”
“Lab reports said that I am just fine! They cleared me and stated that I’m fit to go to Bosnia–”
“Agent Kennedy!” President Graham exclaimed, both his hands coming in contact with the oak of his desk and creating a loud pounding sound.
“The last mission to Spain nearly killed you! I appreciate the risks and near-death encounters you had just to get Ashley back home but you could’ve died! You made it back barely alive! What about your mental state, huh? I’m sure as hell that dealing with all that crap would do a number on your mind. Physically you claim that you’re doing well, but how are you doing mentally?”
Leon stayed silent, gaze drifting down; President Graham was right: he was physically fit but what about his mind? Is he stable there? He knew he needed a break from all of this but who is going to be in the front lines? What’s going to happen to Sherry and Claire? Who’s going to give up their life just so a hundred others can live? He needed to give himself a break but chaos never rests, it’s just waiting for him to get his guard down.
“Mr. President, I know that you’re looking out for me but USSTRATCOM needs me. A little girl needs me,” Leon softly explains even if he feels his patience wear thin.
“I understand your concerns, Agent Kennedy, but they have many other agents just as capable as you are. You need rest. As for the girl and Ms. Redfield… I can assure you that they will be alright.” was all the older man said. “You will be referred to another protective detail. We are not necessarily laying you off but I need to refer you to lower departments and other less… demanding organizations. You’re dismissed.”
Leon simply sighed and gave the President a small nod, head hung low as he headed for the door of the Oval Office. A part of him felt grateful for the break given to him– that is if you can call it a break. He’s not exactly totally resting, he’s still on duty– just a less demanding one. Another, bigger part of him felt as if he couldn’t just sit around and wait until they’ll call him back for another job. He was just about to worry about Claire’s college tuition, worrying if student loan debt will be an issue soon but he remembered that he gave her her monthly allowance just a while back, which means that she’ll be just fine. As for Sherry, he knows she’s in good hands with Claire as her legal guardian. With the millionth sigh for today, he runs a calloused hand through his hair and decides to head home, too tired to deal with more crap for today.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Never would Leon have thought that he would be thankful for the loud ringing of his phone, the ringtone loud enough to help him snap out of a nightmare he’s been struggling to wake up from. Half asleep and slightly disoriented, he answers the call and brings the phone up to his ears.
“Is this Mister… Kennedy? Kennedy, Leon?,” an unfamiliar voice responds from the other end of the line.
“Yes,” Leon says, his voice hoarse from sleep. “Who is this?”
“I’m Agent Corey Morgan. Someone under the agency you’re currently in referred you under my team–”
“What team,” Leon interrupts, his mood already sour because of the nightmare and with work being the first thing he is bombarded with in the morning. The man on the other side of the line cleared his throat, obviously taken aback by Leon’s snappy attitude.
“My team under a celebrity protection detail company,” Morgan responds. “We are Citadel Group and we offer protective services to celebrities. I’m sure you are very much familiar with Ms. Ashley Graham.”
“Ashley must’ve put in a word with her father,” Leon thought to himself. “Citadel Group huh,” he mumbles.
“Yes. We request you to send in your resumé within the day for closer deliberation before we can let you start, even if the things we’ve heard about you are beyond exemplary. I’ll send in a follow-up email as soon as the screening process is finished.”
Leon hummed, already exhausted with all of this. The call ended and he tossed his phone to his bed, too tired to do anything but it’s not like he can get back to sleep again when he knows that only nightmares are there to wait for him. With a groan, he gets up and brews himself a cup of coffee to try and salvage the already worsening day.
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
He sent in his resumé despite several fields being blacked out, receiving an email hours after stating that he’s been assigned to a singer, codenamed ‘Red String’  and will start duty a week from now. He arrives home from the additional interview, keys fumbling to unlock the door to his apartment. He stumbles in, kicking off his dress shoes and undoing one more button to his white button-up before he shrugs his navy blue blazer off, folding and placing it on the back of a dining chair. He rummages through his cabinets, looking for a heavy-bottomed glass to pour some Jack in. Claire chides him in his drinking but he can’t help but drink right now; he’s probably going to be babysitting some stuck-up diva or be at the receiving end of a tirade of screaming if a small drop of rain lands on their shoulder or something. Flashing lights, Leon remembers; there’s probably going to be paparazzi hounding his client with their obnoxious cameras. Leon catches himself worrying over flash photography, cursing himself; the president was right on the matter regarding his mental health.
“Fuck, Leon. You need help,” he silently mutters to himself as a bitter chuckle leaves his throat. This line of work caused Leon to be more thankful towards the mundane– thankful for the opportunity to even get in 3 hours of sleep in, the fact that the loud noise he heard was just a bus and not an Armadura, or that he simply stepped on a twig on the way home and no BOW is out for him for making such a small, seemingly harmless noise.
He takes another drink before the glass is empty again, refilling it with liquor. He has a week alone with his tortuous mind before he can finally do something, even if it’s less intense than what he’s been conditioned to endure.

IMAGINE PEDRO PASCAL X ACTRESS!READER
Summary: You and Pedro answer some internet questions.
Warnings: Implied romance, friendship,fluffy
I was up at the crack of dawn watching The Graham Norton Show due to my unhinged obsession with Pedro Pascal. That's where my hypothesis about Helen Mirren became more credible. I really hope you enjoy it, though.
Tumblr media
"Hello, I am Pedro Pascal." He introduced himself, waiting for you to do the same. "And my name is Y/N, and today we are going to answer some questions from the Internet." You said as Pedro shook the jar with the questions written on small pieces of paper."Let's see what the first question will be." He said, turning the jar over so that you could pick one up. "What was the last song you listened to?" He leaned over to your side, reading over your shoulder. "Do you remember?"
"Let's dance by Bowie. I listened to it in the car when I was coming here." You said, leaving the paper on the table. "Whenever I'm feeling down, I put this song on, and everything is better. What about you?"
Pedro paused to think, looking distractedly to the side. "Someone sent me this video with the song Hey sexy lady and this has been on my mind since then."
"I think I know which video you are talking about." You laughed, raising an eyebrow. He chuckled and laid his head on your shoulder. "Well, next question. Are you good with accents?"
"Are you?" Pedro asked, as you shook your head negatively. "Come on, it shouldn't be that bad."
"The best I can do is a terrible British accent." And I'm not being modest; it's truly terrible." You rectified it, laughing. "But you, on the other hand, are good at it."
"I try; I've done a few different accents." Pedro said, moving his shoulders as if to ask something. "This is the way." He said it in his SNL Valley Girl accent.
You smiled as you shook the pot and motioned for him to take the next question.
"Recommend a book." He read, then tossed the paper aside. "I think I've mentioned this book before, but Gabriel Garcia Marquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude is a landmark in Latin American literature and well worth the read. Besides dealing playfully with social and economic problems, it talks about family, friendship, and love."
"That sounds interesting." You commented. "I would recommend Normal People by Sally Rooney. It's a great book, which in addition to telling the story of Marianne and Connel, deals with topics such as mental health, social classes and makes us reflect on how we impact people's lives and how they impact us."
"Nice." Pedro agreed, waiting for you to take a question.
"What is your celebrity crush?" You asked, and you can't deny that you were curious to know his answer.
"Tough question, there are so many people I admire." He began, adjusting his glasses. "However, if I had to pick one, it would be Helen Mirren since Excalibur. Oh Morgana Le Fay has awakened something in me.""She's wonderful." You agreed, taking a moment to decide. "My celebrity crush is Tessa Thompson; that woman is amazing. She could punch me in the face and I'd thank her for it." "Whoa!" Pedro muttered in surprise. "I don't even know what to say." He joked as you pushed him lightly to the side.
"We only have two more." You commented, looking through the last few papers. "Let's see what the question is." You said, unfolding the paper. "Were you a good student? Were you Pedro?""I was a student." Pedro paused. "Maybe I got into some trouble." He joked, holding your arm as he laughed, "But they were always normal things, like skipping class or forgetting to do an assignment.""I guess I was a good student; I got good grades; I was a little nerdy; and I never got into any trouble." You spoke, throwing a lock of hair back."So, you were a good girl?" Pedro asked and you bit your lip."You could say that." You mumbled, holding the jar for him to pick up the last paper.
"What's the one thing you wish you could tell your younger self?" He read, looking thoughtful for a moment. "I would say that everything would eventually work out and that some things tend to take longer to happen. And to never, no matter what, stop being who you are."
You smiled, gently touching his shoulder. Pedro stared at your face and returned the smile.
"I'd tell her to not be so hard on herself and to try to enjoy the moments without worrying so much about the things she can't control." You said sincerely. "Well, it looks like the questions are over."
"It was a lot of fun answering them; I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as we did." Pedro spoke, smiling. "Until next time." He said, and made the peace sign with his fingers.
"Bye." You spoke, waving to the camera.

Slaughtered Lambs
Hannibal x reader
Word count: 1005
Tumblr media
Hannibal knew his wife wasn’t normal. Even when he first met her, under the bunny facade that she put on he knew something darker lay underneath. Even in the mundane things that his wife did Hannibal found a scent of darkness. He looked at her, sitting beside him, engulfed in a huge blanket making her look like a burrito. Sometimes Hannibal wondered if it was his own imagination that tricked him into believing that something much more sinister lay beneath his wife’s facade. Hannibal brushed the thoughts away and instead turned his attention back to his wife, tracing over the tattoo on her back as she told him about the students she had to deal with at school that day. Hannibal only hummed and nodded his head, the thought still lingering in the back of his mind.
“You’re not listening!” she said, whining. Hannibal chuckled at his wife before pressing a tender kiss to her forehead, a signal to continue and she did, ranting on about her class as Hannibal listened to her voice. There was always something about his pretty little wife that intrigued him. Even before they met or he began to court her, Hannibal saw her from afar. Like she was the moon and he was the star in the night sky. She was one in billion while he was a speck of dust compared to her beauty. On countless occasions he and his wife hosted her students with unfortunate home situations in their far too big home.
“You should sleep, my love.” Hannibal told her, petting her hair gently, as if she would break if he did it too hard. She looked up at him and gave him a small smile before kissing his cheek and heading up to bed. Hannibal’s promise that he’d be there soon only made her nod. Of course, he didn’t know his wife prior to courting her, no. She was Will’s friend. A close friend at that as well. His beautiful, smart and cunning wife was someone who knew the reclusive Will Graham inside out. In fact, their meeting was by chance, Will tried everything to keep his lovely friend away from the predatory gaze of Hannibal Lecter. However he failed and instead attended their wedding as best man. Hannibal smiled at the thought of (Y/n) in the white dress she wore on their wedding. The painting of them hung over the fireplace.
Hannibal thought back to the very first time he saw his wife, under the sunshine, in a beautiful great summer dress at Will Graham’s house. She barged in, looking at Hannibal confused before asking him who he was. Hannibal stared back at her confused, appalled by her rude behavior. Will looked between the two of them before sighing and apologizing to Hannibal. He stated that he forgot about the small picnic he had planned with his dear friend.
“Oh you’re the psychiatrist!” She claimed, a moment of realization dawning on her. Hannibal could feel the warmth coming up onto her cheeks. She nodded at him before secretly gesturing to Will to leave. Hannibal offered her a kind smile, one she returned.
Hannibal was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard a loud crash from upstairs. His immediate thoughts went to his wife. He scurried up the stairs, worrying if (Y/n) was okay. It wasn’t an impossible thought to think that an ex patient of Hannibal’s would attack her. She was his family, the only one he had left. Thoughts of her death rushed forward into Hannibal’s mind. Finding her laying dead there would certainly break him beyond a point of repair.
“Darling! What happened?” Hannibal shouted out, a sense of urgency in his voice. When he heard nothing, he rushed faster up the stairs, they seemed never ending in this moment. Once he reached the upper floor, Hannibal tentatively opened the door, not prepared to see what could possibly lie on the other side of it.
“Darling?” Hannibal called out. He waited for a moment and when he heard no answer, he went in. The sight in front of him surprised him to say the least.
His pretty little wife, hacking away at the intruder with her letter opener. The man on the floor was bludgeoned beyond recognition. His face caved in, clearly she used the phone to do that. His wife’s hair was all over the place, pieces of hair covered in chunks of blood and skin. The man’s chest was cut open. Hannibal took in the sight before him, a ghost of a smile on his face. He was correct, there was something much darker that lay beneath her facade of normality.
“Dearie?” Hannibal called out to his wife and she looked at him, brushing away some hair from her face while spreading blood on it as well. Hannibal just fell in love with her all over again. She smiled at him.
“Hannibal! I’m so glad you came up.” (Y/n) told him, walking forward to reach him, Hannibal met his wife half way and pulled her into him. Kissing her with such passion. The blood that was once on her hands now on his as well. It was morbid, the two of them, kissing in front of a dead body. Thought it was sweet too. The two of them accept each other for who they are. There was no need for them to hide who they are.
“Let’s clean up, get rid of the body.” Hannibal whispered into his wife’s ear. Glancing at the body once again.
“I know exactly what you could do with the body.” His wife spoke, looking up at Hannibal with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Hannibal looked down at her, smiling as well. She was Bonnie to his Clyde. The moon to his stars, his entire universe. There was not a single thing that Hannibal wouldn’t do for her.
“The things we do for love.” Hannibal said, leaning down to kiss his wife’s forehead. He felt her nod on his chest.

You matter to me
Eddie Roundtree x Fem!Reader
✧.* requested by @itzajeanspears — Hi!!! Love your writing so much!! Not sure if you’re still doing requests lol, butttt I have a really specific one so if you’d be able to do this I’d like actually die omg. Okay so I’m a fashion student from LA and I was thinking, the reader is like basically siblings with billy and Graham, (her dad and their mom started dating when they were kids so they were practically raised together) but she’s closest with Eddie in particular. They’re best friends. They’ve basically been attached at the hip since they were kids. They’re both secretly harboring feelings for each other and everyone knows it but themselves. She’s been there for them since the band started, like Camilla, making them outfits for gigs and stuff. and Eddie even takes her to prom when her date ends up being a jerk to her. Butttt the reader ends up moving to LA to go to fashion school (maybe eventually she can be their costume designer for the aurora tour 🙏) and Eddie slowly stops talking to her god knows why. Fast forward- The band moves out to LA and they stay with her until they’re stable enough to be out on their own. The tension is super high between her and Eddie and EVERYONE notices. Super Angsty. Ends in fluff and love confessions 🫶 maybe angry billy lol. AGAIN THANK YOU!!! I know that was super complicated. YOUR WRITING AND EDITS ARE AMAZINGGGG !!
✧.* you're reading part two, here's the part one — A letter?
✧.* summary — Eddie was waiting for your response, and when it never came... A wall was built between you.
✧.* warnings — none.
✧.* word count — 3.5k
✧.* 🎸 — Eddie's masterlist
✧.* mandy's notes — I know it took me forever!!! I'm so sorry, please enjoy! And let me know your thoughts about it :)
Tumblr media
I have no idea how to start this, my head has been a mess since our last conversation. I'm sorry for the way I left, I should've been more polite involving all we've been through in the last couple of months. I confess that I don't understand why you thought I couldn't support you in this situation, I've seen you dreaming about this day since I was ten years old, where we chatted about school and unattainable plans for the future… Seeing you achieve everything you dreamed of is like being hit by a ray of sunshine, I am deeply proud of you.
I wish you all the best on this new journey in your life, you are great and your talent is not left behind! Know that you wouldn't be there if it weren't for all your extraordinary talent. There is something in everything you do that exudes originality and no one can take that away or dispute it from you.
I decided to respect your choice and not go to see you on the day of your departure, I confess that this is demanding a lot from me, but I do everything to see you well. I hope you have a great trip and a great life there too.
I don't want to lie to you, I really hope you write me back, I have a huge hope that you'll give me another chance and we can work things out... I'll understand if you don't want that, I just want you to keep in mind that I love you. Fly towards your dream, and when you miss home, maybe my words will warm your heart.
Yours, Eddie Roundtree.
The bassist seals the letter with trembling fingers, he knew you would leave tomorrow and he still had his doubts about what he was going to do.He wanted to come see you before the match, kiss you gently, hug you as if you were going to escape at any moment... But he couldn't, if that was your choice he would respect that.
He knocks on the Dunne house three times, his hands trembling as he waited impatiently with the letter in hand.
"Eddie? What are you doing here so early my dear?" Mrs Dunne's sweet voice asks, she was quiet, probably because she was the only one awake in the house.
"I— I came to give this to Y/N." He extends the paper to her, confused, the older girl takes the object.
"Do you want to come in?" She asks, opening the door for him.
"No no, thank you." He seemed nervous, afraid that you would show up at any moment. "I really just came to leave this"
The madness was crazy the morning you were going to leave, you waited in secret for Eddie, a hope that he would appear was growing in you even though you wanted to kill it. Everyone else had made a point of saying goodbye, even Warren had stopped by to leave you some chocolate for the flight, but nothing from your boyfriend.
That's what you were, right? After all, there was no ending, not formally in so many words... Anxiety made you fear that when he left that had been your final point.
You open your arms to hug your considerate mother, Mrs. Dunne had been very present to you since she came into your life and saying goodbye was harder than you thought.
"I'll miss you so much." Her choked voice says, and you hold her closer.
"Oh honey, I'll miss you too." She answers, still holding you. "Anytime you need us, you just have to call. You have a family here."
At this point you were already in tears, and you let the hug go to wipe them away.
"Look." She starts to say, opening her bag to hand you something. "Eddie asked me to give you this."
Your eyes widen, you take the letter in your hands and leave for your new life.
You open the drawer of the nightstand next to your bed and return the letter to the place it always rests still not being able to open it, a sigh leaves you as you relive the night you had just had. Now that you were in the same city everything was more vivid, it was like living your teenage years again and it was frustrating. Of course you missed your friends and your brothers, but feeling Eddie's look at the back of your head was a huge distraction that kept increasing many questions in the same.
Eddie let the air out of his lungs as his body collapsed onto the bed he had fought for hours with Warren for, He lights a cigarette while staring at the ceiling and gradually sees the smoke draw your face, He hated how all the feelings he had put so much effort into hiding returned like the tide flooding over him, it was frustrating how you could make his heart race in a way no drug could ever manege to.
He knew that maybe all he had to do was just get over it, and that's all he was trying to do since you left Pittsburgh and him. Eddie was never the kind to get attached to relationships easily, he was used to having one night stands or just casual dating, so when his heart was captured by your gaze and the funny feeling of falling in love... He didn't know what to do.
The cigarette had come to an end and sleep had not even threatened to arrive, Roundtree sits on the bed regretting it before even finishing what he planned to do. He might not have talked to you during the party, but he was a good listener, something he didn't know if it was a blessing or curse until then.
He puts his leather jacket over the blouse he had worn to the party he attended hours ago, also grabbing some cigarettes before going down the stairs of the new house towards the keys to Rojas' van. He considers going to the drummer's room to tell him that he had borrowed the vehicle, but settles for writing a note in letters large enough for him to notice while he looks for it.
He let in his breath once again, shaking his head as he starts the van and heads towards what haunts his mind.
...
The three rings on the door make you lazily get out of bed, your arms go to the blouse thrown on the table before answering.
"Eddie?" You say between shock and yawn, your hands fix your hair automatically.
He avoids your gaze, looking directly at the ground as if he is very anxious. You wait for an answer, but nothing comes out of his mouth, you take a step forward taking his hand and leading him inside.
"Is everything okay?" You ask, after you both sit at the table in your living room.
"I don't know." He lets it out, wondering if he should actually do what he had planned. "I wanted to talk to you about everything."
"In the middle of the night?" You let out a weak laugh, trying to lighten the mood.
"I couldn't sleep, sorry I woke you up." He looked embarrassed, but it was as if being there was more comfortable than anything he had been doing before knocking on the door.
"We can talk, no problem.”
"With us moving here I imagine we'll see each other more often than we have over the years." He looks you in the eyes, the red of the cigarette in them. "And I don't want there to be a fight between us, I don't want there to be things that aren't clear."
You let the air out, trying to look as if you were mature for this situation. "What do you mean by that?"
"Even with our history, is everything ok between us?" He wanted to tell you that the answer was no, that he hadn't forgotten you, but it stayed in his throat just like the growing knot.
"For me yes, but for you I'm not sure." You are honest, letting the frustration go with your words. "You were the one who ignored me the whole party, I felt seventeen again."
"You don't need to be sarcastic." He says rolling his eyes.
"Since when do you call the truth sarcasm?" He arches his eyebrows at your response, you click your tongue against the roof of your mouth. "What I meant is that I'm over it, I just don't know if you are."
"You know what..." He gets up, adjusting his jacket on himself. "I think we've cleared that up, let's just be polite to each other and that's it. I see you around."
"You're kidding right?" A mocking laugh is let out by you, disbelief shines through. "Is that what you consider resolution?”
"I'll see you around." He says, you get ready to close the door. "Let's just keep things between us, like before."
Your eyes roll back and you slam the door shut, anger and confusion rising in your chest. How can he just show up in the middle of the night to turn your life around like that? You only feel the tears when they fall on your arm, was it frustration? You preferred to believe so, but seeing him treat you with so much indifference was painful.
Still angry, you go to the nightstands and open the drawer to take the letter in hand. Your vision blurred with emotions growing, you tear it apart and as soon as the first cut is made the rest are just a trigger for the pieces on the floor. You cry, regretting it and at the same time wanting to disappear... It hadn't even been twenty four hours since he had returned to your life and everything was chaos.
You collect the pieces and place them inside the box you found, trying your best not to glue the pieces together to read something that could be your answer.
...
You had done a good job of trying to forget about Eddie Roundtree, you had gone out with a few people and avoided running into him as much as possible when you met the band. But that became impossible when his brother went to rehab and his niece was born.
You moved into their house to help with the baby, Camila had never been so vulnerable and you couldn't feel more angry at Billy than in those first few months. Of course, you knew he wasn't one hundred percent to blame, addiction wasn't easy and it made you very sad to know he was like this.
Your move wasn't complete, you slept there some nights and other nights you went back to your house or studio to create some pieces of clothing. It was hard to face Eddie every day, but you two made a point of avoiding each other as much as possible.
It was hard to remember why you didn't like Eddie much when he was being so kind every day by your side, you start to remember why you fell in love with him in the first place. He was kind, funny, he helped everyone, but he was still the one that left you. And that was certainly the impasse for you to sympathize with him once again.
Night fell on the horizon as you leaned over the counter, a cigarette between your lips as you thought about everything at the same time.
"I see you still like the sunset, sunshine." The nickname makes your spine shiver, you don't turn around, you just let him get closer to you. "It always reminds me of you."
The chill comes to your belly, you turn away in disbelief. "What are you doing?"
He rolls his eyes, “Trying to get along with you, is it that hard?"
You let out a sigh, avoiding his eyes. "You want us to be friends?"
"What's the harm on that?" he asks, resting himself.
You shrug, trying your best not to ask every single question that haunted you over the years.
"You made yourself pretty clear that day in my place." That's all you say.
"Why are you acting like I'm a bad guy?" He's confused, upset in his eyes.
"You can't just keep doing this to me, appearing in my life and just leaving me!" You let out your frustrations, he looks at you without understanding. His gaze fixed on your eyes was overwhelming.
"What do you mean?" His voice was trembling, he took a deep breath. "Look, I know I acted childish that night, I shouldn't have just popped at your place and said those things. But I mean what I'm doing right now, I made one mistake... You're really going to blame me for the rest of my life?"
"One mistake?" You tried your best to hold back your urge to cry. "Look Eddie, it's been a long time. I understand if you forgot everything we've been through, I don't want to..."
"You're acting like I didn't care for you. Like I don't care." His voice was calm, it left you disconcerted.
"How can you say that you care for me if you haven't even reached for me all these years?" You turn to face the sky, trying to keep calm.
"I was respecting you!" He avoided coming closer, even though he wanted to take your hand in his. "I told you that! I—...
He stops when he sees your confused eyes, concern takes over his.
"You didn't read the letter, did you?"
You swallow hard, he waits for your answer but you open your mouth and close it without saying anything.
"Did you receive it?" He asks, you nod your head. "I don't understand..."
"I never read it." You confess, looking at your feet.
"Why?" He felt exposed, hurt.
You don't answer, he seems devastated.
"Fuck." He says passing his hands through his hair. "I can't believe this."
He left, leaving you alone with the sunset.
You made a point of coming home that day, there was no way you wouldn't go back to read that letter, your heart was aching with all the emotions that came up this afternoon. You were overwhelmed and feeling guilty, but at the same time confused... You needed answers.
When you managed to put the pieces together it was difficult to tell what was there, but your body softened and your heart tightened. There was your answer.
...
Daisy Jones was responsible for the band's growth after Billy's relapse, 'Honeycomb' was a masterpiece and the whole world knew it when those chords sounded on the radio. You were happy and proud for all of them, it was great to see them all achieving a dream that you followed from the beginning.
You were really excited to go on tour with them, You had already made many different pieces and I'm really looking forward to seeing them using what you created for them from the beginning. Today was the day of the first show, if you weren't even going to be on stage, you were nervous, you couldn't imagine how they were.
You couldn't contain the tears of emotion when you saw them there, the fans screaming excitedly and a long-time dream coming true, it was an amazing feeling and you were so happy to be part of this somehow.
It wasn't easy to deal with the information about the last situation you had with Eddie, of course, Billy had returned and you had spent less time together but that whole scene never left your mind. You tried to expel the flashes as much as possible while pretending to listen to what Camila was saying.
"Swetie, are you paying attention to me?" She says between a laugh, the music from the celebration party made it hard to hear her.
"Aham." You lie, watching Eddie talk to Warren and another girl you didn't know a few steps away. Camila follows your gaze, and turns with an arched eyebrow.
"What's going on?" She asks, her voice softly.
"I feel like I'll never be able to leave what we had behind me." You felt the words leave your mouth with honesty for the first time in a while.
"Have you told him that?" She asks, looking between you and him.
"I'm pretty sure he hates me, so..." You let out a breath, trying to hold back your tears.
"Eddie could never hate you Y/N."
"How can you be so sure?" You take a sip of your beer, avoiding looking at the distant group.
"Oh honey, if you only knew how many times he told me how he felt... How many songs I heard—
"Songs?" You cut her off, holding her arm. "He wrote songs about me?"
"Many." She responds, stroking his hand with a motherly affection. "You should talk to him."
You gather all your strength to follow her advice, and little by little you get closer to them. Warren is the first to notice you, waving in a comical way for you to come closer, Eddie avoids your eyes, the girl greets you with a small smile.
"Hey guys, the show was amazing." They smile at your congratulations. "I'm really proud of you guys."
"Thank you sunshine." Eddie says, almost regretting using the nickname. "I'm sorry..."
"It's okay." You say under your breath. "Look, can we talk alone for a second?"
"Sure." He turns to Rojas and the curly-haired woman. "I'll be right back."
Automatically you take his hand and guide him to a more private place, it's a few seconds of silence before you know how to start. He doesn't rush you, he just waits for you to feel good to begin with what you had planned.
"I read your letter." That's all you can say, he swallows hard. "I'm sorry it took me so long..."
"It's okay, it doesn't matter anymore." He tries to say, but you cut him off.
"It does! It matters and you know it." Tears manage to fill your eyes. "We matter for each other, you matter to me... And I don't know about you, and I know it's probably too late but I can't forget you."
He takes a step closer to you, never taking his eyes off of you. "What are you saying?"
"I'm saying I love you." A choked laugh comes out of you, it was impossible to contain it all longer.
"Fuck." He holds your face in his hands, touching your foreheads together. "Please, don't mess with me." He jokes.
"I'm done building this wall between us." Her voice was honest, her eyes never stopped staring into his. "I just want to be with you."
He kisses you, a kiss you've missed for years, a connection of souls, an inexplicable feeling. His hands cupped your cheeks and caressed your skin, you pulled him close to feel him after so long. He would always be your point of comfort.
"I love you too." He whispers against your lips, your eyes closed. "I love you so fucking much."
"I know it took a while but I kind of want to stay with you." You joke, he lets out a laugh.
"We can tell our children that we've been dating all this time, they don't need to know about this hiatus" He says while caressing your hair.
"Children?" Rojas' voice made you jump in fright. "Damn, you guys are emotional, huh?"

Master! Luke Skywalker x Padawan! Reader
Summary: a simple lightsaber combat with master Luke turns into something else.
Warnings: soft dom Luke, oral sex (m! receiving), inappropriate use of the force, implied age-gap, established relationship (?).
A/N: a little late but here it is, the soft dom Luke fic requested by anon. i also used the padawan reader cuz some of y’all asked for more… and yes, i put that gif of Graham as Luke cuz he’s super hot too idc lmao. Hope you like this! 💗
Tumblr media
It all started as something innocent. Just a simple lightsaber combat to train and have fun. Neither of you expected to end up all sweaty, high in adrenaline and with a sexual tension way too strong.
It’s almost unbearable. The only thing you want to do is go straight to your room, strip naked and rub your clit all night until you get rid of that annoying frustration.
But you’re really dumb if you think that master Luke is not hearing your thoughts. You’re being louder that usual, of course he can sense it easily, and those filthy fantasies of yours are enough to drive him wild.
So, before you decide to excuse yourself out of the situation, Luke uses the force to snatch your lightsaber from your hands, hiding the blade and letting the hilt hang from his belt, just like all those times where he punished you for misbehaving.
But you did nothing wrong this time! you’re being a good girl, why is he acting like that?. Both of you were enjoying the friendly combat, so that sudden change is difficult to understand. You don’t get it. You weren’t acting like a brat.
“On your knees” he demands. “Now”.
“W-what?”
“You heard me”
Of course he won’t repeat what he said, and you heard it clearly, so now you need to obey his commands, even if you think it’s unfair. Cause you know full well that, if you don’t do as he wants, your lightsaber will stay on his belt for a week and you’ll be forced to meditate instead of having fun with the other students.
Letting out a sigh, you get on your knees, right in front of Luke, immediately noticing the prominent bulge in his pants.
So that’s what has your master all moody and pent up? He needs your help to relieve some stress and frustration? oh, maker, he could have just asked instead of making you feel like brat.
However, you won’t deny him a little bit of pleasure, not when you’re also extremely horny and dripping wet between your thighs.
“Come on, pretty girl, you know what to do” Luke says, impatient to feel your touch, stepping closer until his crotch is almost rubbing against your face.
And of course you know, you’re no stranger to any of that, so you get to work, looking up at him with big doe eyes while running your hands up his thighs and abdomen, pushing the belt out of the way and moving his black robes aside.
Finally, when you pull down his pants and underwear, his hard cock springs out, swollen, leaking pre cum, and begging for attention.
You take his fat length in your hands, feeling how heavy it is, pumping it a few times before licking the pink tip, earning a soft moan from him that sounds like music to your ears.
But Luke is not in the mood for teasing, he wants more, so he bucks his hips forward, urging you to take him in your mouth. And you comply, doing exactly what he wants, sliding that big cock past your lips, inch by inch, until he’s buried all the way down to the base inside that pretty little mouth of yours.
Then you start moving, up and down in a steady pace, trying your best not to gag when he hits the back of your throat.
“Fuck yeah, just like that” Luke hisses, almost whimpering, grabbing a fistful of your hair to keep the rhythm.
A moan escapes from you, sending vibrations to his sensitive cock, and you can feel your slickness soaking your panties, practically humping the air, desperate for some friction.
You need attention too, and Luke knows it, so he uses the force to rub your clit in circular motions, torturously slow, sending waves of pleasure through your body, but not enough to make you cum, he wants to do that himself.
Tears fill your eyes when you take him as deep as you can, too lost in the moment to care about breathing, wanting nothing more than make him feel good.
And seeing you just like that, crying from the stimulation and his cock stuffed in your mouth, has Luke going absolutely crazy, on the verge of an orgasm.
He thrusts hard a few times, fucking your throat, soon finding his own release, a deep groan rumbling out of his chest as he spills inside your mouth, feeling him twitch while you milk him dry, making sure that not a single drop of his hot sticky seed is wasted.
Once he has rode out that euphoric sensation, you let his cock out of your mouth, finally catching a breath, cleaning the spit running down your lips and whining when he suddenly stops working on your clit.
For a moment you think that maybe he’ll leave you there, frustrated, and then go back to his duties as a jedi master. But what you don’t know is that he’s still hearing your thoughts, smirking at the fact that you’re so damn needy, and so so good for him, always willing to do anything.
“I’m not that mean, baby” Luke says, reaching down to put two fingers under your chin, forcing you to look directly at his pretty blue eyes. “Now lay down and spread those legs, cause i’m not done with you just yet…”

A Withered Will
Luke Skywalker x reader
Summary: Following a set of dutiful instincts, a newly transformed Master must fight his inner demons to strengthen his heart for another.
Word Count: 1.3k
Warning(s): PURE FLUFF, the beginnings of an established relationship (cause Luke deserves it), Luke and the reader being their best selves, moments of heavy angst, moments of anxiety, nightmares/sleep paralysis, mentions of the hardships of a Jedi, and brief descriptions of smut and nudity. Dreams in italics.
A/N: Just pure love for Graham Hamilton and his portrayal of Luke. I can’t get enough of him and he makes me feel so soft. Feedback is always appreciated and enjoy!
Tumblr media
Basking in the vast layers of shade, the protective layer of bamboo stalks shedding their leaves swayed in the cool breeze from the small lake, where a new pupil sat on the mossy rocks. Silently tilting his head towards the rays of warmth, Luke Skywalker enjoyed this new feeling of serenity, along with the guidance of a new ally.
Descending to the lake’s edge, the young Jedi Master walked along the shore with his hands folded behind his back.
“It’s more like he’s remembering than I’m actually teaching him anything.” He said to the acclaimed Grey Jedi, Ashoka Tano.
“Sometimes the student guides the master.” She replied with a smile.
Humming to himself, Luke reminisced in this newfound bond, the relationship you and he shared. While you two were skilled Jedi in your own right, there was something more, and Ashoka could sense these emotions like following a trail of breadcrumbs.
“Are you worried about her? About Y/N?” Ashoka asked, moving closer to Luke.
Turning his attention to her, Luke nodded. Glancing at Grogu, who now made his way to the water’s edge, Luke couldn’t help but feel a lump rise in the back of his throat.
“Yes, I am. Y/N left to track a small supply raid outside of the Coreilla System and hasn’t reached out in two weeks. I fear that– the …compass failed her.” Luke explains, trying to hide his lower lip from quivering.
Stepping closer to him, Ashoka gave Luke a reassuring touch to Luke’s shoulder, which was the kind gesture he needed.
“I know your feelings for her are strong, Skywalker. They are powerful and your love for Y/N may be what you need to conquer anything. Even the demon you’re secretly fighting. So listen to this. Listen to the very rhythm of your heart, as yours and hers are the same. Only then will you both learn to love one another.” She calmly explains, moving her hand over to cover Luke’s chest, allowing his heart the freedom it deserved.
*****
Distant echoes of waves crashing against the shore allowed a long overdue motion of serenity to be ignited on the oceanic planet's secluded beaches containing tide pools. Amongst a series of long forgotten marble ruins, specks of sunlight peeked in from the cracked dome ceiling, and the cool salty breeze filled your lungs.
Wrapping his arms around you, Luke's ebony cloak was a comfortable invisible shield covering your nude bodies whilst his lips fell to your collarbones. The soft fabric was strewn underneath your hot skin, blocking the cold marble. Nestling deeper between your hips, your grip tightened around Luke's muscular shoulders, and your fingertips traced over the fading series of lightning scars on his freckled skin.
Remaining here in this dream-like state, your shared moans and whimpers were more valuable than the sound of a harp in the Naboo War Room. It brought a different kind of music to Luke’s ears and his lungs were clogged with ecstasy. However, the vision faded, and the image of you vanished.

Jolting awake from this hellish dream, the once peaceful oceanic atmosphere collapsed into the quaint bamboo forest. Lying awake in his single cot, Luke darted his eyes around the small tent, only to discover that he couldn’t move. As his light orbs desperately looked around the tent, Luke could see a glimpse of R2 in the corner, but his loyal droid was powered off for the night.
Struggling for a minute, Luke tried his best to free himself from the blanket that now became heavy at this moment, preventing him from breathing. A brief gasp escapes from his chapped lips, hoping to call out to someone – to anyone who would hear him.
But there was no one.
Until he saw the sight of you ducking your head under the tent’s entrance, and you removed the hood of your cloak, revealing your beautiful features in the dim lamp light. Rushing to his side, you take Luke’s face in your hands, gently stroking his cheeks.
“Hey, hey. Just breathe, Luke.” You advise, removing the thin camping blanket from his shoulders drenched in sweat.
Sitting on your knees, you carefully place a damp cloth on Luke’s forehead, hoping to cool him down. Even in the dark, Luke smiles at your calm demeanor, trusting you in this vulnerable state.
Taking the back of his bare neck in your right hand, you carefully made Luke sit up, and a large gasp exited his lungs, as if it was crushing his soul.
“You came back?” He asks, reeling from this sudden state of shock.
Your brows scrunched at this question, wondering why he’d ever question you.
“Of course, Luke. You're lucky I sensed something was wrong once I entered the atmosphere.” You reply, offering him your canteen.
Taking the cylinder bottle, Luke quickly downs the cool liquid, and you silently gaze at his half-naked seated stature before you. Even in the dark, your e/c eyes could make out the fading lightning scars on the brim of his shoulders. Turning away, you quietly proposed that he should get some more rest, and that you wouldn’t leave him.
*****
“So how reliable is this thing?” You ask, taking the silver compass from Luke’s hand.
“I’m not entirely sure. But there’s just something …strange about it, Y/N. I don’t know. I just know that it’ll lead us in the right direction.” Luke explains, taking the compass back.
“Well, if anything, it’ll lead us all the way to Lake Country. My father always talked about how beautiful Naboo was. Especially the mission he was assigned to with my mother. I’m so jealous of Leia right now.” You joked, nudging Luke’s bare bicep with your elbow.
Glancing at you, a furrow formed in between his brows, and the images of his previous dream. You and him, finally alone on the beaches of Naboo. Pulling himself from these thoughts, he quietly shook his head.
“Are you okay?” You ask.
“I’m fine. Let’s just set up this course.” Luke replies, with a bit of strength in the back of his voice.
Nodding at his explanation, the forest’s landscape transformed into a rocky and a mountainous place past the bamboo. Heading out of the shady forest, Luke advised to scour the area for a quiet spot for a much harder training course. After mapping out a medium sized piece of land by a rocky hill leading to a cave, Luke started to sketch out a small blueprint in the soil when a slight shiver crept up your spine.
Turning your attention to the cave’s entrance, you began to subconsciously walk up the hill, dropping your bag in the process. Alerting him, Luke quickly rushed to his feet once he saw you were gone. Hearing the same series of sounds that initially pulled you in, Luke walked up the hill, and into the cave.
Reaching the end of the minuscule cave, the vision of an old and decaying tree sprouting its roots on the stone walls. Among the roots was a single intact shelf with a few old and nearly ruined books. Stepping forward, you extended your arm to grab one, however your foot got lodged in something unusual, and the vision evaporated.
Breaking the plastic cap of a chemical light, Luke wanders father towards your presence, only to discover that you’re stuck in a pool of tar. Tossing the light to the floor, the bright blue light illuminates the dark cave walls.
“Y/N!!” He shouts, pulling you away from this hypnotic state.
Facing him, you realize where you are, and the tar has taken hold of your hips.
“Luke?! What– What happened?” You frantically ask, trying to free yourself.
“It’s alright, don’t move! Here, take my hand!” Luke calls out, offering his hand to you.
Quickly taking his hand in your own, Luke desperately pulls you from the sticky tar. Shaking some remnants of the black liquid off your leg, Luke tightens his grip around you.
“You alright?” He asks, bringing his face to meet your own.
“Yeah, I- I’m okay. I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me. It’s like I was…” You try to explain, but tears begin to form in your eyes.
Surrounding his arms around you, Luke pulls you in for an embrace, reassuring you that everything would be alright.

Prison Break- Part 5 (Leon Kennedy x Reader Series)
Tumblr media
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
CW: Death Island spoilers, suicidal thoughts/tendencies
WC: 5350 (whoops)
Summary: You and your co-worker Leon Kennedy are sent on a mission to rescue a kidnapped robotic engineer Dr. Antonio Taylor. The journey for him leads the two of you to somewhere you thought you would never go, Alcatraz.
A/n: IM SO SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG. I graduated my students, I fell ill, and I had an ADHD fueled hyperfixation on a specific pale elf made by Larion Studios so here it finally it. I hope the length makes up for the month of silence.

January 27th, 2015
You and Leon had been working together for a year and a half. Last year, you two defeated Glen Arias alongside Chris Redfield and Rebecca Chambers. This year, things were relatively quiet. You hated to say it, but it was quiet.
You were sitting at your desk that was against the wall in now you and Leon’s shared office. A crate of ice coffee was melting, the condensation dripping from the cups onto the top of your desk. Glancing at the clock, you bit your lip. Normally, Leon would be out of a meeting with the President within an hour, but it was now an hour and 15 minutes, something was up.
And with it being quiet lately, you could only speculate another big mission was popping up.
The door opened and Leon walked into the office, looking exhausted and drained. Over the past half a year he had really pulled himself together. His eyes looked more present, less glossed over. He had grown his hair out more, stopped dying it, and styled it like he used to when you first joined. He was also very proud that he started lifting again, something he said that he did all the time in his 20s.
And all that personal care paid off, because even though he was exhausted from his meeting, he still looked gorgeous. You thought he was really attractive when you joined the D.S.O. and even last year when he had lost a bit of weight and had his depressed alcoholic arc. But you didn’t know just how attractive he could be, and it still amazed you.
“Are you going to tell me… or….” You said and looked at him.
He took his coffee out of the tray on your desk and pat your head. Your eyes trailed him to his desk.
“We have another mission coming up,” he said, pinching the bridge of his nose as he sat down. He took a sip of his coffee and relaxed in his chair.
Leon had told you multiple times about his relationship with the past few presidents. Apparently, President Graham scared him shitless when he “asked” Leon to rescue his daughter and he was intimidated by him until his terms ended. President Benford was like a mentor to him and helped found the D.S.O. with Leon; they were pretty close until Leon had to kill him a few years ago. Now, Leon was drained from all the politics of the new guy.
You smiled to yourself a little bit because you were right about the mission. “You know that’s just watered down coffee, right?” You asked, looking at his iced americano, trying to lighten the mood.
He looked at you from his desk, almost scoffing in reply. “Like I’m gonna take coffee advice from you. You’d guzzle the grounds if you could,” He said, turning his attention back to the folder in his hands.
You sat there with your mouth open, not knowing how to reply to that. Closing your mouth, you turned back to your laptop, typing away at a case file.
“We have to go to New York,” Leon said after a few seconds of silence. “We’re going to attend an upcoming biology summit and check in on a few things.”
“Meaning, there’s a potential virus being sold?” You asked. The past few months after dealing with Arias had been mostly doing work for the government, so bounty hunting and few and far between B.O.W. hunting.
Leon nodded and your heart jumped with excitement. It was kind of morbid to put it this way, but you loved work like this. This was why you joined the D.S.O.
“We’ll be undercover so be on your best behavior,” Leon said.
“Yessir,” you said and jokingly saluted.
“And another thing…. We’ll be undercover as a couple… so try to pretend like you like me,” Leon said and grinned.

January 30, 2015
Ingrid’s eyes trailed up and down your figure, looking at the dress and seeing if it complimented your skin tone and hair color. The D.S.O. was providing the wardrobe for the mission, the racks of dresses they had filled you and Leon’s office.
When the racks were brought in, Ingrid didn’t explain why the D.S.O. had so many when you and Sherry were technically the only female agents. She also kicked Leon out of the office so she could help you try on the dresses and pick out the one.
You were standing in the middle of the office, a burgundy coloured dress hugging your figure. The bodice had straps that fell off the shoulder, corset ribbing, and enough cleavage to make your mother pass out while still keeping it classy. The bottom hugged your figure on one side and had a long slit on the other, trailing up to your thigh. It felt Greek and Romantic, while also being modern.
You felt like a million bucks.
“Wow,” Ingrid said, looking over you again. “With your hair and makeup done, you could probably get it at the summit,” she added and chuckled.
You looked down at the dress. “Why does the D.S.O. have this?” You asked again, clearly stuck on the question. Sherry Birkin hadn’t been back from traveling for a mission in years, and she was pretty young, so it genuinely made no sense to you.
“Does it matter?” Ingrid replied. “The D.S.O. keeps them just in case. A lot of times they’re purchased for the mission. Tax write offs and stuff.”
You nodded in reply, letting Ingrid touch up the dress a little bit.
“This will go nicely with what Leon’s wearing…” she said, mentally taking notes. She walked over to a box and pulled out a pair of heels higher than you had ever worn before.
“Are you trying to get my ankle snapped in half?” You asked and looked at her in shock.
“You’ve worn heels before, what’s a few more inches? And they’re designer, when else will you get a chance to wear them?” She asked.
If you weren’t in awe of the shoes, you would have glared at her. “True…” you trailed off and tried the heels on.
“Okay, now take everything off and I’ll pack them away,” Ingrid said and turned around so you could change.
After handing the dress and shoes to her, you put your regular clothes on, feeling less like a million bucks. Ingrid put the dress and shoes in a suitcase along with a box of jewelry.
“Alright… I’ll leave these with you. Good luck,” She said and smiled at you.
You walked over to her and pulled her into a hug. No amount of hugs could make up for her landing you this job, or even just being your friend when you got lost in the sea of USSTRATCOM agents. But still, it was the thought that counted.
The two of you hugged each other for a good while, making a silent promise to work hard and for you to make it back in one piece. “I’ll try not to drive you insane this time,” you said and smiled at her.
“You know better than making promises you can’t keep,” she replied and chuckled. The two of you broke the hug.
The room was littered with clothing racks and  discarded dresses. “I’ll help you bring the racks back,” You said, looking around the room.
“Don’t bother, I’ll have it done in two trips tops. And you need to get going, check in time for the hotel ends at 11pm,” she said.
You nodded and picked up your bag and suitcase. “Talk to you later,” you said and gave her a toothy, warm, smile as you walked out the door.
Walked through the D.S.O. office, you made your way to your locker, grabbing the duffel bag you carried around on missions. It had your knives, guns, and pretty much a small armory in it.
“Ready to get going?” Leon asked, walking up next to you to go through his locker.
“Yup,” you replied, slinging the duffel bag over your shoulder.
“Let’s get going then,” he said, smiling at you.

“Name?”
“Nathalie Oakes,” you replied, confident in your fake persona. The two of you, you and Leon were putting the finishing touches on your outfits. With a job like this, all of the details mattered, how he cuffed his sleeves, what you wore for jewelry, everything.
“My name?” Leon asked, fixing the collar of his blazer and undershirt. He was wearing a suit that was matching the dress shade, his blazer and undershirt being the same shade. His tie was black and so were the pants. The way he had his shirt and blazer, the shirt was unbuttoned a little bit so his chest was slightly out. Almost like he had cleavage, which if you were honest he kind of did. That man worked on his chest like he was paid to do it.
“Edward Wingate,” you answered. Your fingers gently pulled the top off of the velvet covered jewelry box, staring at the almost blinding gold necklace. Picking it up, you were trying to figure out how to clasp and unclasp it with your nails.
Ingrid had treated you to a manicure the other day. Adorning your fingertips were acrylics, nude colored and almond shaped. When you had asked how to shoot or fight in them, you were met with snickers and were told to figure it out yourself.
So you did. Spending the last few days in the shooting ring and training rooms, making sure you were confident in your abilities with the nails on your hands. A chuckle came from behind you and Leon’s hand gently grabbed the necklace. “Need help?” He asked.
You nodded in reply and pulled your hair up so he could put the necklace on you.
“It's funny, I’ve seen you kick ass hundreds of times and you’re getting stuck on trying to put a necklace on,” He said, the everpresent teasing fronting his voice.
“It’s these damn nails. I have so much respect for people that function with these things. And I can still kick your ass with these on,” You retorted, earning another chuckle from the man behind you.
Looking at the mirror, you saw a reflection of a life you could only dream of. A woman dressed up to the nines and her partner helping with her jewelry. The juxtaposition to what your reality was was almost taunting. Where there were ivory colored gloves in the mirror, there was usually blood; yours and others’. The hair that fell smoothly like silk sat on top of the head that was filled with nightmares. Nothing in the mirror was a true reflection, except for the man behind you.
You dreamed of finding the one person who got you, emotionally and physically. One who always had your back and would be there for you on the nights where you remembered the blood filled apartment in Manchester. Leon was the one person in your life who could quell the cold isolation, the icy, crushing feeling of your past. He didn’t know about your feelings for him, he couldn’t.
Even if the feelings for him overwhelmed you in only a way that a full symphonic orchestra could. His smile made the world feel a little brighter, his laughter made life sweeter, He was like honey added to coffee, something that made a bitter drink sweet and a different palate.
“Alright, done,” Leon said and pat your shoulder lightly.
Your eyes looked at the gold adorning your neck and you smiled. “Thanks,” you said warmly and turned around to get the purse that matched your dress. The feeling of someone staring at you made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, something you had from the STRATCOM training.
Looking in the mirror to your left you saw Leon staring at you, something that happened quite a bit, but this time it was differently charged. Something was fueling the look on his face, but as usual, he was hard to read. He noticed you looking at him in the reflection of the mirror and he turned his face towards the wall, pretending like he wasn't staring at you.
“You ready?” You asked, willing to ignore that he was blatantly staring at you.
“Yeah,” He replied and grabbed his Sentinel 9, sliding it into his blazer and through his shoulder holster under the jacket.
Turning towards your bed, you grabbed your holster, fastening it to your thigh under the dress. The slit was on the other thigh so it wouldn’t reveal the holster.
“Ready Miss Oakes?” Leon mused, holding his arm out for you.
“Ready Mr. Wingate,” You replied, smiling a bit and taking his arm. This all felt wrong, but right at the same time. What would it feel like if instead of a mission, this was your reality? What if instead of heaving Edward Wingate on your side you had Leon Kennedy? It was jarring, as jarring as the emotions you had been trying to sort out the last few months. Swimming somewhere between your heart and your brain were your complicated emotions.
They really weren’t complicated, your situation was.
If Leon wasn’t your coworker and technically your superior, you would’ve tried to go for it, but the reality was that your lives could get messy. You didn’t want him to potentially get in trouble for fraternization, you didn’t want your relationship to change if there was rejection, and most importantly you didn’t want either of your potential deaths to hurt more.
If you left your feelings unsaid, the chance of you or Leon dying wouldn’t sting as much. So, your feelings were buried between your tight lips, unspoken and never going to be explored.
“You okay? You seem lost in thought,” Leon said, his eyes meeting yours. The clicks of your high heels and his shoes were echoing through the hall on the way to the elevator.
“Yeah, I’m fine, just thinking about the mission,” You replied as the two of you stepped into the elevator. Your gloved finger pressed the 6 button.
“Our target is a potential C-virus sample. Most of the summit will be held on the 6th floor and a lot of the vendors will be here starting tomorrow. Tonight is the dinner party that starts off the summit. Everyone will be busy socializing and drinking,” Leon reminded you.
“Meaning tonight is our best bet to get in and out unnoticed,” You said, smiling.
“Meaning, our job will be a lot easier if we get it tonight,” He said.
The elevator opened to the 6th floor, warm yellow lights illuminating the space. The room was open, the venue taking up the whole floor. Across the walls were floor to ceiling windows, the city lights coloring the dark horizon and sky. The floor was dark wood, glossy in finish, and the ceiling was an off gray color with golden details. All over the room were circular tables with chairs around them, the tables adorned with empty champagne glasses, cutlery, napkins, plates, and candles.
“I feel like I don’t belong here,” You said quietly. The last undercover mission you went on was almost the polar opposite of this.
“Don’t let them make you feel inferior. They’ll see through the disguise,” Leon assured you as you two walked into the room more. “And don’t sell yourself short. More importantly, don’t let rich assholes sell yourself short. You’re worth more than everything in this room put together,” He added.
You smiled a bit, redness slightly painting the tips of your ears. “Thanks for the confidence boost. I’ll make sure to put this down as one of the only times you were sweet to me,” You said, looking at him. He opened his lips to say something, but closed them as someone was making their way over to you two with a clipboard.
“Good evening, I presume you’re here for the North Eastern Biotech Summit?” The man said. He was dressed in a usual black tie suit. He stood around 5’11”, being only a few inches taller than Leon and looked to be around your age.
You didn’t miss how Leon almost changed into a completely new person with his energy level and atmosphere. You also didn’t miss how his arm suddenly snaked around your waist, pulling you close to him. The corners of your mouth upturned into a warm friendly smile at the contact and the man in front of the two of you.
It was all for the mission, that’s what you convinced yourself. Being a couple, that was for the mission, but enjoying it? That wasn’t part of the mission.
“Of course! Edward Wingate, and this is my lovely fiancé, soon to be Mrs. Wingate,” Leon said, his voice sounding like silk. As he spoke, he pulled you close to him, squeezing the two of you in a side hug.
The man in front of the two of you checked his clipboard, his eyes skimming down the list of names on his sheet. His eyes lit up when he saw the two names you presented.
“Ah yes, Mr. Wingate and Ms. Oakes,” He replied, putting the clipboard down and gesturing to a table. “Let me help you find your seat,” He added. The two of you followed the man to a table in the corner of the room.
As you got closer to the table, you tried to process all the people here, their fancy clothes, and their arm candies. The people paired with the lights, and the complete lack of smell in the room was almost too much for you to handle.
Leon and you sat down at the table, your hands immediately going to the glass filled with water. The cool liquid made its way down your throat and relief was evident on your face. As you put your glass down, another couple sat next to Leon, their outfits as extravagant as the venue. There was a man and a woman, the woman looking slightly older than the man.
“Hello! You weren’t here last year, it’s always good to meet a new supporter,” The woman said and outstretched her hand to Leon. After they shook hands, she outstretched the same hand to you, which you took as elegantly as you could.
“Finally got invited to join in on the summit this year. We’re excited to see what the latest developments in biotech are,” Leon replied, smiling at the two of them. He lightly put his hand on your thigh, the warmth spreading through your body. If you were drinking, you would have almost choked on the water.
“Nice to meet you, I’m Blaire, this is Ambrose,” The woman said and gestured to the young man next to her. Looking at his hand, you could see the two of them were engaged, the gold engagement rings sparkling. You slid your hand onto the tablecloth, so the two of them could observe that you and Leon were also “engaged”.
“Pleasure’s all mine, Im Edward, this is Nathalie,” Leon gestured to you, almost showing you off. Your mind wandered off to thinking about what if it was Leon who was showing you off, not Edward showing off Nathalie. Could you ever make him proud to introduce other people to you?
“The summit this year is said to be the biggest yet,” Blaire said. Her midnight blue dress was stunning against her skin. The gold jewelry could catch anyone’s eyes.
“That so? It certainly is a special night,” Leon said and chuckled a bit. You were surveying the room, seeing where the wait staff and other people were coming out of, making it look like you were taking in the decor.
A frazzled worker coming out a door directly across the room from your table caught your eye. From your seat, you could see shelves and what looked like a storage room, or a green room that the items being showcased in could stay while waiting for tomorrow.
Your eyes glanced back over to the couple sitting next to Leon and you smiled warmly at them, playing the role of the pretty arm candy that didn’t talk much.
“We’re going to the bar for a few drinks, want to come?” Ambrose asked warmly and gestured to the bar on the opposite end of the room. It was close to the storage room you saw earlier.
Before Leon could object, you spoke for the two of you. “Of course,” You replied with a smile.
As the two of them got up, Leon looked at you, his eyes asking for an explanation. Giving him a look back, your eyes told him, trust me, I have a plan already. He nodded in acknowledgement and you two got up, following Blaire and Ambrose.
The four of you got to the bar counter and you looked up at Leon. “Hey, honey, I’m gonna head to the bathroom, could you just get me a vodka lemonade?” You asked and held his elbow lightly.
Leon’s eyes twinkled a little bit, him knowing what you were really saying. “Of course, I’ll hold your drink for you,” He said. Before you walked away, he leaned in and kissed the top of your head.
Your rational side knew why he did it, it was strictly to play your parts, but the part of you that dreamt about a different life fluttered when his lips met your head. Heat ran to your face as you blushed and started walking towards the bathroom.
If there was one thing you didn’t want, it was for Leon to see the red painted across your cheeks. Then your feelings would be questioned.
Making sure no one was watching, you walked past the bathroom and towards the storage closet.
The first thing you noticed about the room was that it was cold, like a walk in freezer. The next thing you noticed were the lights, they were a cold blue hue, no warmth found in them at all. The very last thing you noticed was the lack of smell. Where the scent of mildew and/or dust would be filling your noses there was nothing. Not even the various cleaners on the shelf were creating a smell.
Looking around the room, you saw various gadgets and displays set up for the summit. Each piece was on its own roll out table, but one in particular caught your eye. On a smaller display table, there was a closed briefcase. If you were lucky, the vial containing the virus sample would be in there, if not, you would have to survive more socializing.
Walking over to it, your eyes traced over the case, looking for any signs of vents or anything else that could be a trap. Clearing the case, you brought your finger up to your earpiece.
“Condor 2 to Roost, I found the delivery. Am I cleared to grab it?” You asked.
“Condor 2, good job. You’re cleared to grab it,” Ingrid’s voice rang out in your earpiece.
You nodded to yourself and studied the case again, making sure it wasn’t trapped. Flicking the clasps open, you saw the vial. Inside of the small glass container was a red substance that looked almost sticky. Reaching out to it, your hand went to grab it.
Suddenly, you felt a strong sting of heat course through your hand. Smelling a burning sort of smell, you ripped your hand away from the glass and looked at it, seeing a second degree burn forming through the glove you were wearing. Snickering in annoyance, you bunched up both of your gloves and picked up the vial, stuffing it in your purse and thinking of a way to conceal the burn on your hand.
Walking out of the storage room, you made your way back to Leon and the others getting their drinks. Leon went to hand you your glass, but his eyes immediately caught on to the burned palm of your hand. His eyebrow raised in questioning and the look you gave in response didn’t ease his worries.
“Well, it’s been good to meet you two, I think Nathalie is feeling rather ill. We’re gonna head back to our room,” Leon said, looking over at the two he had walked to the bar with.
Blaire and Ambrose nodded in respect and left to go back to the table. Leon’s eyes went back to your hand, concern written across his face.
“You gonna tell me what happened?” He asked.
“I suggest that we get back to the room then have this conversation before the sample vial burns a hole through my purse,” You retorted quietly and walked with him.
The two of you slipped out of the party, unnoticed, just like how you had gotten in. The job was as easy as Hunnigan had said, in and out, and other than the burn on your hand you both came out unscathed.
“We’re talking and walking,” Leon said as the two of you got out of the elevator, walking down the hallway to your room. His voice told you that he wasn’t asking, more telling you that you two were going to talk.
“The glass burned my hand, that was it, everything else was fine,” You replied as you made your way to the door to your room.
“I’m patching that up when we get inside,” Leon said, again leaving no room for debate.
“Fine,” You mumbled and swiped the keycard, opening the door.
The two of you walked in, you immediately getting out of your heels and leaving them by the door. You were about to head into the shower, before Leon closed the bathroom door from behind you. You didn’t have to see his face to know he was staring intently at you.
“Before anything, I’m fixing that hand of yours,” He said, his breath hot on your neck. You turned around, looking him in the face.
“I want to get out of my makeup and this dress,” You replied, a slight whine in your tone.
“You’ll get to later,” He said, almost pulling you to the bed. Begrudgingly, you sat down on the edge of the bed and watched him walk to the bathroom. While you were getting ready, earlier today, you didn’t notice how soft the bedsheets were. The silk pooled under your fingers, wanting to lull you to sleep.
Leon returned from the bathroom, with a bowl filled with water, a first aid kit, and a couple hand towels. Your face scrunched a bit, uncomfortable with the idea of someone doing something that you could do yourself.
“Leon, I’ll be fine. I can bandage myself up after I get changed,” You said, trying to quell him. However, one of the things that you had learned early on while working with Leon Kennedy was that he never walked away from someone needing help, no matter how small or big the need was.
The bed dipped as he sat next to you, pulling your hand so that it was face up on his thigh. “And what happens when you don’t fix it and you get scarring or can’t use your hand as well as you used to? This is your shooting hand, don’t be stubborn,” He insisted.
“‘Don’t be stubborn?’ That’s rich coming from you,” You replied, eyes scrunched together waiting for the pain of him putting your hand in the bowl of cold water.
Where you expected there to be pain from the water, there was relief. Part of you wished that it was running water, but the other part of you knew it might’ve been rough on the freshly buried skin.
“Just relax, I’ll take good care of you,” Leon said, his hands going to open the first aid kit.
“That really makes me feel better,” You said back snarkily.
“Good to hear that you didn’t lose your sense of humor,”
“I got a burn on my hand, I didn’t get impaled,”
Leon chuckled a little bit and took your hand out of the bowl, putting it down on one of the hand towels. “I thought I trained you to say ‘thank you’ when someone helps,” He replied, a glint of teasing in his eyes.
“You didn’t teach me shit other than how to shotgun a beer,” You replied, a smirk on your face.
Leon’s small chuckle turned into a hearty laugh. “Fair, fair,” He replied and started to bandage your hand. “Good eye, seeing where the displays were held. The job was easy thanks to you.”
“Is that praise from Leon Kennedy?” You asked, feigning shock. “Oh my god, the world is ending.”
“Hey, I give you enough praise,” He retorted and lighting wrapped the bandages around your hand, lightly tying them. “Okay, your hand is all set and will be as pretty as it usually is soon,” He added with a toothy grin.
“Thanks,” You said and looked at the bandaging, your voice softening.
“Before you change, I have something else for you,” Leon said, walking over to the fridge in the room. Your eyes followed him and watched him pull a box out of the fridge and a large bottle of sparkling cider.
“What’s the occasion?” You asked as he walked back to the bed with two forks and two flutes.
“It’s January 31st….” Leon trailed off.
“Oh,” You replied softly and looked at the box. Leon opened it up and revealed a tiramisu cake, simple and plain, just like you liked it.
“I’m sorry you had to be on a mission tonight, but our lives are what they are,” He said and handed you a fork. “I know you like tiramisu cake and you hate most types of alcohol so I got you some goodies,” He added with a soft smile.
“Thank you, I haven’t had anyone to spend tonight with for a long time,” You replied, taking the fork and flute.
“Before we eat, actually, I think it’s a waste that we didn’t get to dance while in these fancy ass clothes,” Leon stood up, walking to the radio in the room and putting on a classical music station.
“I don’t know how to dance,” You said.
“If you can fight, you can dance, it’s pretty much the same thing,” He replied and held his hand out to you.
“You say that now, but you won't be laughing when I step on your foot,” You warned, taking his hand with your good one and standing up. Leon laughed in reply and pulled you close to him, his hand finding a respectful spot on your waist.
“How do I put up with you?” He asked dramatically, his eyes sparkling with humor.
“I should be asking that question,” You replied. “Maybe, we were meant to annoy the shit out of each other.”
The two of you chuckled as you swayed together to the music. Leon’s eyes never left yours and the way he was looking at you felt… intimate. Like you were the only person in the world to him and you were all he wanted.
“Happy birthday, (Y/n),” He said after a few seconds of silence and smiled.

Present Day
You saw Leon’s mouth moving on the other side of the prison cell bars, but couldn’t hear a word he was saying. His blue eyes were staring at you, squeezing shut in a grimace every few seconds. If you were going to get infected after all the missions the two of you had gone through, you were happy that at least you could lose your minds together. Nothing else mattered to you other than the feeling of closeness you two had in the moment and your fingers laced together through the jail cell bars.

i know you and i like you anyway (1)
chapter 2
nathan prescott x reader ; warren graham x reader
summary: when the pressure and eyes are on you, it’s hard to stay afloat. especially when your not so forgotten best friend comes back into your life. and they are ready to mess up the plans others have for you.
having parents and peers constantly nag you about your grades, interests and lack of an significant other can bring you down. but meeting the new kid in the academy can change at least one of your mocking points.
yn is implied to be afab (lives in fem dorms) but is genderneutral otherwise!
tw/cw: mentions of poverty, mental health issues, canon typical violence, swearing, implied/ref drug use, modern au as in its not 2013, huge canon divergence and messed up time line, obsessive behaviour, possessive behaviour, tell me if i missed smth!
read on ao3 for better formatting and tagging
unlike popular belief nathan prescott did not grow up in arcadia bay. the heir to the prescott name grew up in fort lauderale, florida. his family, from his mother side, lived there. she was able to convince his father to let them live there, bless her soul.
(“it will be good for him! for us! the pressure will destroy him. just look at how kristine treats us.. i don’t want to lose another child.”)
he spend his time at prestigious elementary and middle schools. and at middle school is where he meet you. people started quickly talking about you, simply because you were the only scholarship student. unlike everyone else you didn’t come from money.
your uniform was constantly 3 sizes too big, your hand was constantly raised and when you got anything less than an A there was clear panic on your face. the biggest difference to everyone else were your empty eyes and constant deadpan. seemingly nothing truly got a reaction out of you. there was a boy who tried to, by pulling at your hair and messing up your homework.
you beat him up so bad that the whole class just decided to leave you alone. and fact is, everyone who was near you also got left alone, so nathan was naturally pulled towards you. he wanted nothing more than to be left alone.
middle school was hard, simply because nathan`s problems started to really show, he wasn`t a child anymore who threw temper tantrum’s. he was now a boy with violent emotional outbursts. and quite frankly, children are cruel. getting a rise out of the weird prescott kid was more entertaining than torturing their maids and nanny’s.
because you were the only one who could handle his temper, simply because you didn’t care about it as long as he didn’t touch you, you got paired up for different projects.
and that’s how you meet his family. his father didn’t like you, but he doesn’t even like his own children, so his opinion didn’t matter. his mother and sister loved you, simply because you were very polite. dinners were filled with you being questioned to hell and back while you were trying to eat as much as possible.
“uhhh.. i have an older brother, he’s 2 years older than me…i have a twin brother, too. and another 3 little brothers. my father works at a la…actually he’s unemployed right now. my mother works as a teacher and during the summer break she works..where ever they need someone. what i want to be when i grow up?…middle class.”
meeting you after school was hard, responsibilities which nathan couldn’t even imagine carrying were put on your shoulder.
(“sorry. i have to study and babysit. so sorry, i need to grocery shop and take care of dinner. i wish i could, i have to cut the hair of all my brothers and clean the house. if i don’t pass this test my father will murder me.. i have to study. thank you for being so understanding.”)
to be honest, at first nathan didn’t even want anything to do with you. his mother insisted for him to invite you over. he now knows she pitied you. he now knows, too that you even were able to pull on the heartstrings of his father, because he would ask when you would visit again.
when nathan asked you, why did you have to care for everything, what did your brothers do to help? “have fun, i guess.” he felt angry for you. “how can you just roll over and take it? what the fuck is wrong with you?”
“well, who else would do i? why are you angry? i’m not angry, and i’m the one with the responsibilities.”
nathan learned to love you and the emptiness you carried around.
just like everything good in his life, your friendship (or was it more? it felt like more. he misses you, he misses your mean comments, your eye bags and exhaustion.) ended slowly.
once middle school was over, and he was able to graduate with a dirty record of violent outbursts, which was magically clean once he looked over it. the prescott family moved to arcadia bay. he was enrolled in the blackwell academy.
he found this out at the end of the summer break. to be honest he was getting suspicious, because all his questions regarding the highschool he was supposed to attend were being ignored. his father send him away, his mother smiled at him with sadness, he insisted to go to the same school as you.
“please, don’t forget me at your new cool school.”
“i will NEVER forget you, idiot. you’re the only tolerable person i know.”
the way you smiled at him was still clear in his head. you were beautiful in a way he has never seen, and the older he gets the more he realises he never will see anyone quite as pretty as you.
when nathan is 13 he meets dr. jacoby and starts treatment for the anger he feels. he knows that he fells ptity for him. nathan misses you, when he told you about his father, about the bruises and pressure he is under you simply talk about an escape plan. a way you both will be free from the shackles your family put on you and live happily everafter.
maybe you pitied him, but that would never stop you from treating him normally. you didn’t try to avoid his outburst, his meltdowns, you were always direct to him and never lied. he respected you more than anyone. he sees it in his mother, and relatives, how they dance around him as if he is fragile.
when nathan moved away, the first year he visited every break he could. summer, fall, winter and spring spend together. when he wasn’t there with you, he texted you. sending letters, postcards and hour long phone calls. his father hated this, more than anything.
(“depending not only on someone, but on such a low class person? don’t you know that you’re being used? they only see you as a walking wallet! i will put an end to this.”)
the only time dr. jacoby has seen sean prescott in person is when he expressed his concern regarding a codependent friendship with someone from florida. looking back on it, the doctor realised he was lied to and he was able to convince nathan to stop the contact, the only stable and positive influence in his life.
nathan wishes he could say that he got back in contact with you, that you were best friends again, but life is cruel and he’s a coward. he misses you, more than anything. he thinks he’s obsessed with you, dreams were about you (both dreams and nightmares), his day was spend imagining what you were up to, what you look like now. the silly thing is, nathan has never told anyone about you. victoria knew that he had an ex best friend in florida, but she didn’t know any details, rachel knew he was hung up on someone, jefferson knew that there was someone inhabiting his heart and mind.
and well. the school knew somethings. see, the thing is, when you’re high some things slip out. sometimes you mumble a name once or thrice when you’re passed out, and when you (try) hooking up with someone, you moan the wrong name. more than once. with different people. yeah. when one person claims he said the wrong name it’s one thing, but three? he was in deep shit.
victorias nosiness didn’t help, she wanted all the gory details, but he couldn’t say anything. what was he supposed to say? i fucked it up with the best person, because i couldn’t stand up to my shitty father and useless psychiatrist? sure. part of him was sure that she saw the pictures of you he has in his drawers, in his albums, hidden away.
for a short time nathan thinks he moved on, when he met rachel. she was pretty, smart and nice. she was less than you and much more. and he thinks he’s ok, ok with the distance and unknown which surrendes you. why did all your social media accounts have to be private?
nathan is 18 and it has been nearly 4 years since he has seen you. blackwell turned into the senior focused art academy, just like it was planned. he entered his first year in the 2 year programme and finally he was able to make a name for himself. victoria turned the vortex club into a group for the elite just like how she planned, with nathan’s help. he wasn’t the victim anymore, he finally ruled over the school grounds. summer passed and before he could register it, it was fall break.
it was the last few days and students started to move back into their dorms. the talk right now where the new students attending, some students dropped out because they were catched with drugs on their person, some couldn’t afford the rising tuition prices and others simply moved away because of their parents. nathan couldn’t careless, those who left aren’t close to him, but who is truly close to the prescott heir? he can’t lie though, he lost one of his best customers, or more like frank did.
victoria was in nathan’s dorm room, she was checking out the new student’s. according to her, there were no new people in the girl dorm’s who fit in the vortex club. how tragic. outside on the hallway was some commotion,
“please, move and unlock your door before i decide against helping you with your furniture.” could be heard from the outside, spoken by an unknown voice. the room besides nathan was being occupied. sad. he will miss the privacy and silence. especially now, with furniture being build. fucking hell.
“oh my, hottie alert. two of them even.” victoria was peeking out of his door.
“oh yeah? found some new members?” she hummed, “let’s go over and introduce ourselves. first impressions are everything. before the freaks come and snatch `em away.”
nathan groaned, “give me a minute. i’m still fucking hangover from yesterday. fuck, frank needs to stop stretching his shit or one day i’m going to die, for real.” victoria only chuckled at her best friend.
stepping away from the door she got out here phone and looked herself over in the camera, fixing a few strands and wiping away lipstick which started to smear over her lips. in the meantime nathan got up from his bed, going through his har with his hands and putting on his iconic jacket. with that he left the room, victoria right behind him. looking his door before they make their way over to his new neighbours.
and honestly, he should have expected this, because you always meet someone twice. or that’s what you always said. the door was open, and some guy had his back turned towards them. damn, he’s tall. it’s kinda overkill. turning around, the stranger nearly ran into him and victoria,
“shit! my bad, i didn’t see you there…do we know each other?”
you weren’t who nathan saw when he found out you were back, or more like you were here. in his life. instead, he saw face to face with your twin. the guy was freakishly tall, nathan remembered how small he used to be, now he was over 6 feet tall with clear defined muscles.
nathan with his proud 5`7 feet felt his fragile ego being tested, simply by the fact that some guy he used to know when he was, like, 13 was now way taller than him. and part of him wants to lash out, yell at oliver for not watching where he’s fucking going. but nathan was aware that this would kill any chance of reconciling with you. starting a fight with your brother would immediately put him on your shitlist, even if you hate oliver. sometimes.
(“he’s still my brother. if you talk badly about him again, i’m going to throw you out of this window.”)
“jesus himself could stand before you and you wouldn’t recognise him. stop bothering people, this is the third time you have asked someone this. get your stuff already.” your clearly annoyed voice rang through the room. thankfully this took away n
oliver scratched his head, “man, not my fault i can’t recognise faces for shit. my name’s oliver. nice to meet you guys!”
victoria the angel (or devil) took over the conversation, noticing that nathan was a tiny bit overwhelmed, “hi! i’m victoria and this is my best friend nathan. we just wanted to welcome you to blackwell. if you need any help don’t be afraid to ask us.” she put on her best mask of friendliness. “we are the leaders of the vortex cub, a group for blackwells elite. i’m sure you will fit right in.” taking out a flyer she gave it to him.
reading it over oliver said, “me? for sure. i don’t know about grumpy bear back there.”
“what’s that supposed to mean?”
“you’re my twin, and i love you but you’re mean. like, even teachers are afraid of you. well, i better get going before you throw something at me.” with that oliver left his spot at the door and nathan finally can look at you. you were sitting in the middle of the room, an unfinished shelf laying on the floor and a toolbox was at your side. in one hand you held a screwdriver and in the other hand, raised into the air you held a pillow, obviously ready to throw it.
you look just like he remembered and at the same time it feels like he’s looking at a stranger. you’re not quite as skinny anymore and your eye bags weren’t as dark anymore. wearing a oversized hoodie and jeans, just like when you were a kid. but now he knows it’s probably more a fashion choice instead of only owning hand me downs and extra big clothes to grow into. of course, you still have to be stupidly attractive. now you wear glasses, too.
you lowered the pillow back to the ground, now that your target left. looking down at the shelf you pouted and said in a small voice, “i’m not mean.” your piercing gaze drifted over to victoria and then nathan, “hi, i’m the mean y/n, apparently.” when you saw him, you did a small double take. victoria and her awareness immediately caught that. stupid artists and their eye for details, especially since she has heard that name mumbled many times.
“oh? where are you guys from?” she asked, smiling at you.
“uhh…florida,” when you saw her raise a brow, hinting at waiting more details you continued, “fort lauderdale, to be exact.”
“what a coincidence! nathan here also grew up there. do you perhaps know each other?” the way victoria smiled reminded you of a dog barring it’s teeth in a warning.
nathan knew you and you would play along with whatever lie he went with, but part of him doesn’t want to lie. here’s his chance to actually start a path, to be friends again (or to be more. but you probably hate him, on the other hand who doesn’t?).
“…long fuckin` time no see, y/n.” what a lame way to say hello after nearly 4 years, but it’s not like he can rewind time.
before he could register it he was hit square in the face with the discarded pillow, “what the fuck? what happened to forgive and forget? huh?”
“woah..” only now did nathan register that fucking warren was also in the room, sitting on the bed. the guy was impressed, he never thought he would see someone attack nathan fucking prescott. warren is putting you on a pedestal right now.
“what the fuck are you looking at, loser?” in true nathan fashion he had to lash out at someone and it couldn’t be you. warren quickly put his hands up in surrender, regretting ever speaking.
“no fighting in my room, guys.” oliver returned in his hands two boxes stacked on top of each other. looking at nathan, he said “so i do know you, what kind of unforgivable act did you commit for grumpy to punish you with the pillow of hatred?”
“stop calling me that!”
oliver walked further into the room, dropping his boxes near you and asking you something, in a hushed voice and a language unknown to the others in the room. when you answered his eyes widened in shock.
“the rich kid! of course i remember you, dude. in fact, y/n will forgive you for whatever you did and marry you. so we- you guys can be rich and shit, together.” oliver nodded wisely, while you looked so tired. shaking your head, you simply started to screw around with the screws in the shelf.
quickly dismantling the shelf, you dropped the screws messily on the floor and stood up, pointing to your brother you said, “you’re horrible,” pointing to nathan, “i’m incredibly angry with you,” pointing to both warren and victoria you spoke your last words, “it was nice to meet you both. warren, i will take you up on that offer to show me around.” and then you walked out with the tool box in hand.
“are you finally going to tell the story about y/n?”
“…fuck, i don’t know how to put up any furniture.”

SYNCOPATION.
Tumblr media
“Are you seriously getting a hard on while im trying to help you understand music?”
⭒ pairing: graham x reader (gender neutral) ⭒ word count: 1068 ⭒ warnings: smut, smut, and more smut, overstimulation, sub graham :')
12:30 PM.
You looked at your alarm clock, forcing yourself from your bed. You had slept in a little too late, wiping the sleep from the corners of your eyes. From the other side of the house, quiet knocks rose to a crescendo as you walked down the halls. The door opened, a nervous laugh escaping from the lips of the boy in front of you. “Graham?” You questioned. He was dressed as if he were about to go out to a Sunday dinner, primary colors covering him from head to toe. “Fuck, I forgot. I'm so sorry..” You added, the timid brunette shaking his head in response.
“It's okay..” He choked out, his voice cracking a bit. You wanted to raincheck the study session, but you still invited him in. his arms were wrapped around his textbooks, carefully setting them down onto the living room table. You were the only other student who knew about music production, besides Damon, who had been gone for holiday. He sat down, opening one of the books to the page he had been stuck on; syncopation. Your eyes took their time adjusting to the small font printed on the paper, but you could definitely see the pictures. “Alright, syncopation.” You cleared your throat, slightly annoyed you didn't have the time to freshen up or fix your hair first. “So basically where notes don't belong, but it still sounds good for some reason.” You forced a laugh, trying to get yourself in a better mood.
Graham nodded, pushing his glasses up as he inched closer to the book. He was squinting, reading the passage in his head. You watched him, he really wanted to understand. “Donna Summer?” you spoke, his attention turning to you. “Pardon?” You scoffed. “You don't know Donna Summer?!” An offended look on your face. He shook his head. “Disco, Graham. Disco. Lots of songs in the disco genre use syncopation. It's like, a note before a quarter note that has the little tail on it-”
“Oooohhhh.” He cut you off, your eyes widening.
“Okay that makes sense.” Your palm met with your forehead. The nerve. What was supposed to be a study session quickly switched to a lecture, you trying your hardest not to grab him by his collar and shake him around. “Do you understand now-?” Graham nodded, his face turning to a slight shade of pink. “I think..” You turned your head to roll your eyes. When you turned back around, Graham adjusted his pants a little. Your eyebrow raised in confusion, noticing his body language; a flushed face, a bouncing leg, constantly tugging at his pants.
You let out a laugh. “Are you seriously getting a hard on while i'm trying to help you understand music?”
“NO!” He responded defensively, his face only getting more red.
Your eyes met with his trousers, which he covered with his hand.
“Let me see.” You spoke dominantly, his hand moving quickly as if you put a spell on him. You were getting it now.
“You listen so well.” you teased.
“Thank you.” he incoherently replied. You laughed again. “What a fucking loser, you get turned on from me going off on you.” He stayed silent, his pants only getting tighter.
You could see his bulge, and his glasses fogging up. “Here, let me help.” You took his glasses off of him, little indents being present below his eyes. You went to unzip his pants, his hand immediately stopping yours. “W-wait.” Graham mumbled. “What?” You questioned. “I-i've never done this before.” Your jaw dropped open. “Oh so you're telling me you've never had a handjob before now?” There was a short moment of silence, he wasn't kidding. Your lips turned into a smile. “It's okay.” You reassured him, helping him tug the fabric off. his arms stayed at his side, his boxers already wet from precum. You tried not to giggle again, knowing it would only arouse the poor thing even more. Your hand slipped inside, passing the waistband. You grabbed a hold of his aching length, a mix between a wince and a whine left his mouth. You started slow, making sure he could feel every little detail your hand could give.
He was already squirming around, his whimpers and pleas sounding like the soft undertones of a slow song. You reached his tip and squeezed slightly as your hand rose and fell, an arpeggio. “Bloody hell.” He winced again, sweat running down his face. He was so red, his legs shaky as you talked him through it. “Do you like it here?” You asked, your hand wrapped around the base of his cock. “Or, here?” You asked, giving the boys tip your full undivided attention now. His begs and moans were just enough for you to understand what his answer was, your index and thumb running up and down him. It was a matter of seconds before he came, a long repeated measure of cries, and whines spilled out of him.
He sat up quickly, humming through his high. “Oh god, oh fuck, god.” He cursed. He was still shaking, you had only been doing this for two minutes. “You came so fast, and Christ you're messy.” You moved your hand away, getting up to grab a towel from the bathroom. His chest was rising up and down rapidly. You cleaned your hand off, then offered to clean his shirt. Graham watched, then you went to clean up his still leaking cock. He shifted a little, you smirking as he did so. “Sensitive bitch.” You muttered. “Huh?” He turned to you.
“Nothing.” Your face was blank, throwing the towel to the side. “All better?” Checking up on him, he nodded fast. “Yes, thank you.” zipping his pants back up, he stood to his feet, stumbling a little. You examined him, making sure he could get his balance back, which he did. “Um, i better go.” Graham choked out again, grabbing his things quickly, walking to the door almost embarrassed by what just happened. “Hm, okay.” You insisted, noticing his glasses still left on the table. You grabbed them just in time, going to tap his shoulder.
He shuddered, then looked at your hand. “O-oh, right. Thanks.” He awkwardly smiled, putting them back on. “You're welcome for the lecture.” You spoke with a cocky tone.
“Shut up.” He mumbled, heading out before closing the door behind him.

Drama Club || Chapter I
inspired by @viperrot high school sweethearts stories (like, heavily inspired) but it is set in the modern days.
Woah, my first actual story (that will take me forever to update because I have like, no motivation) so I hope y'all like it :3
This is a Leon Kennedy x fem!reader. <3
Tumblr media
"You've got to be kidding me!"
"You're saying you don't know him?!"
You're not really sure what's happening. Yesterday, it was a normal day at school. But today? The school suddenly gets a new student. The hallway was still crowded, as usual, but everyone was whispering and gossiping about the new student. From what you've heard, his name is Leon Kennedy. Tall, fair skin, and blonde hair. He also happened to be the best lacrosse player for your rivaling school. Well, used to be.
Today was supposed to be when he finally arrived at the school and everyone, even your best friends, had been waiting for him with anticipation. Except for you. You never really kept up with school news or gossip, mostly too focused on drama club and such. You were always a theater kid, hoping to be a star, even if you've never really talked with many people and are probably not even that well-known. You were hoping that you would finally get a lead role this year.
Your friends, Claire, and Ophelia, have been pretty interested in who Leon is. But, you honestly don't know much about him to even be super excited about it. Though, it would be lying if you said you didn't care about it.
"Do you guy think he'd be hot? Leon is a name definitely fitting for a hot guy!" Ophelia twirled her hair at the thought of how Leon may look. Ophelia is a very interesting girl. Her tan skin and long black hair really make her green eyes stand out. She's one of those girls who can never really stick with a crush and always ends up having a new crush every week somehow. But even with her commitment issues, her caring and bubbly personality makes up for it.
"Why does looks matter so much? I'm just hoping he's not a total asshole like most athletes." Claire stated. She's an amazing girl. She's kind, yet strong. She's not easy to manipulate and get to her, even if she is nice. She knows when it's needed to confront someone and isn't afraid to cause a bit of a scene sometimes. She's also very observant, which is a huge benefit if you're her friend.
They then both turned to you, waiting for your own opinion. "Oh me? I'm not really that excited. Yeah sure, big time new student since he's from our rival school and is their best lacrosse player, but I'm not that interested in athletes," You respond, placing a hand on your hip. "Besides, last time I dated one, he turned out to be a jerk and dumped me for Ada," You let out a scoff. "The woman wasn't even interested, but she just had to charm him so she could get her friends invited to a party."
"Yeah…fair point." Ophelia rubbed her neck and averted her gaze.
"It's why I said I hope he's not a jerk." Claire said, chuckling lightly.
Then, suddenly everyone's head was turned towards the front of the school. A tall, blonde male was seen walking through. "OMG! There he is!" Ophelia whispered, her fingers twirling her hair.
He was honestly more attractive than you thought. His beautiful blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, and absolutely beautiful, muscular structure. You couldn't help but stare. As he walked down the hall, he seemed to be looking at you and you were about to wave until he walked right past you. Then you realized he wasn't looking at you…
But rather at Ada Wong, who was right behind you.
Oh god, you felt so embarrassed. You then felt a hand on your shoulder. It was Ashley Graham, the Raccoon City mayor's daughter. She was about a year younger than you, but she was sure as hell popular, being the mayor's daughter and all. "Don't worry, y/n, I'm sure you'll get his attention someday!" She gave you a smile and you smiled back. You're glad Ashley is a sweet and caring girl. Unlike Ada, who was pretty cold and only does whatever it takes to get what she needs, or wants. At least, you think she's cold.
You then looked back at Leon, who was chatting away with Ada. You felt a pang of jealousy, but brushed it off. If he was talking to Ada without a problem, then he had to be a jerk. Claire tapped your shoulder. "Saw ya starin'. Bet you think he's cute, huh?" She snickered and you sighed.
"Observant as always."
"At least he's a Junior like us! He's not some weirdo senior hittin' on younger grades." Ophelia jokes, hoping to lighten the mood even more.
The bell suddenly rang and you all rushed off to your classes. As you entered, you noticed Leon had taken a seat next to yours "Wow, of course he had to be in my class." You thought to yourself and sat down in your seat.
As you sat in class, you paid attention to the teacher and their lectures. You rhythmically tapped your foot as you occasionally glanced to your right, admiring Leon. You've gotta admit, you were probably no different than any other girl in the entire school. There was no doubt that he was in fact handsome, or maybe pretty was a better word. Well, either way, he was dashing. How his long dirty blonde hair fell over one of his eyes and his cerulean eyes as they followed the teacher's movement.
It was nearing the end of class and you started packing up your things. When you stood up, you accidentally bumped your head with someone. "Crap, I'm so so sorry-" You looked up to see who you bumped into and guess who it was.
Leon Kennedy.
You couldn't help but feel a rush of embarrassment. And what's even worse is that your notebook had dropped from your hands and was opened to a page with a doodle of Leon you had drawn while in class. Leon looked down at you with a stupidly charming smile. "Don't worry about it, y/n." He responded, saying your name.
He said your name.
He knows you.
You sheepishly smiled back. God, you probably had a little crush on him, you couldn't deny that. You were probably no different from every other girl, crushing on the hot new guy. While you were in a bit of a daze, you didn't notice Leon pick up your notebook before he spoke up.
"Nice drawings. Can I keep 'em?"

8 | Lady Emma Hamilton
Pairing: Ominis Gaunt x Fem!Reader
Serpents and Roses
The following afternoon, you walk into your brother's class with a grin on your face. You take a seat next to Luna, who leans over and whispers, "Where were you yesterday? We missed you."
"Oh, um, I went out," you say quietly, knowing it would be hard to explain where you had gone.
"Oh yeah?" she grins. "Anyone interesting?" she asks, just as your brother looks up from his desk and scans the room.
"No," you shake your head and do the same, only for your eyes to fall on Ominis and Sebastian taking their seats across from you and Luna. Your heart drops to see Sebastian glaring daggers in your direction.
"Y/N," your brother calls out. "Despite being a muggle, I do hope you'll pay attention to the lesson today. Or perhaps, would you prefer to take a trip to my office?"
"Sorry, no," you say, feeling your cheeks grow warm as everyone turns their gaze to you.
"Very good. Now, as I was saying, open your books to page 108. There's a story there I'd like to discuss," he announces.
You look over at Luna who already has her book open and out on the correct page. Just how long were you staring off for?
Once everyone has turned to the right page, James begins to read aloud, "The lightbulb was invented in 1890 by Thomas Edison. This allowed humans to have electricity running through their homes, which led to more and more technological advancements. One such invention is the telephone, which was created in 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell..."
You can feel yourself about to fall asleep as your brother's monotonous tone lulls you into a daze.
"Y/N?" James' voice suddenly calls out to you.
"Yeah?" you answer, jolting upright and wiping away a bit of drool.
"Do you know anything about this story?" he asks, causing a few students to chuckle.
"Yes," you answer, trying to remember what he'd just read.
"Can you tell me what happened in 1890, please?"
"Um, yeah," you nod, looking at your textbook.
"Take your time," he smiles.
You scan the page, trying to find the answer. Finally, you see it, "In 1890, Thomas Edison and his team perfected the electric light bulb..."
"Very good," James nods. "Five points for Ravenclaw."
"What?!" you hear a Gryffindor in the back yell. "How the hell is that fair? You can't just give her points for saying something we already learned!"
"Mr. Prewett, I believe you should mind your own business," James frowns. "Now, if you have nothing else to add, please keep quiet. Perhaps if you focused more on the subject, instead of making a scene, you'd learn more, hmm?"
The room falls silent once more and James continues reading.
Luna sighs dreamily, resting her head on her hand. "God, he's so hot when he's mad."
You glance at her, a little surprised at the comment. "Luna, what the fuck?"
"I mean, I'm just saying," she shrugs. "You have to admit, he's not bad to look at."
"I think I'm gonna be sick," you groan. "Please don't talk about my brother like that in front of me."
"Don't worry, he's not my type anyway," she laughs. "But he is definitely a hottie. If I was a few years older, I might have gone after him myself."
"Luna!" you snap.
"Alright, alright," she grins. "My apologies. But I do need to tell you that he's definitely catching the attention of more than a few female students."
You roll your eyes. "James is smart enough to keep to himself, I'm not concerned about that."
"Maybe, but you should still keep an eye out," Luna whispers. "Just in case."
"Yeah, I will."
"Oh, by the way, I thought you weren't taking this class? You know, since you're a muggle anyway," she then asks you.
"Yeah, I wasn't going to but I figured it might help beef up my credits so here I am. Besides, maybe I could be of some help? I don't know," you shrug.
By the end of the first class, James' mood has certainly soured. He's never taught before, so it's no surprise that he's quick to become frustrated when a student can't answer a question.
"Since you all seem to think you're experts on muggles already, I propose a project. You will choose a famous muggle artifact and create a presentation on this item to present it to the class. This will count as your final exam. If you do not receive a satisfactory grade, I will fail you. Understood?" James explains.
"What kind of an assignment is that?!" a student cries.
"One that will challenge you to think outside the box," he says.
The class groans and you smile. You're sure to get an easy A with this project, so there's no way you'll fail. There's more than a few things you can write about.
After James dismisses the class, a Slytherin slams his hand down on the table where you are and leans down close to you.
"You're an interesting one, aren't ya?" he smirks. "Bet I could write a damn good paper on you. I bet you'd love that, wouldn't ya?"
"Um, no thanks," you say, leaning away.
"Don't be like that," the boy continues. "We could have some real fun together, you know? I could write all about the things you'll let me do to you."
You're speechless, unsure of how to respond. Thankfully, Luna is still next to you. You turn around to her seat, but she's gone. Instead, she's up in the front of the room talking to James.
"I'd rather die," you mutter, turning away from him and grabbing your bag.
"That can be arranged," the boy snarls.
"Enough," a voice from behind says.
"Mind your own business, Gaunt," the boy retorts.
"I'm afraid that is not an option. Now, I'd advise you to leave Y/N alone," Ominis tells him.
"What's the matter, Gaunt? I thought your family didn't let you be friends with muggles."
"Shut up, Nott. Now go away. Before I make you," Sebastian snarls, chiming in.
"You're nothing without a wand, Sallow," Nott smirks. "Don't think I don't know."
"And yet, I've beaten your ass more than a few times with just my fists. Want me to prove it again?" Sebastian asks, standing up.
"I wouldn't, Nott," Ominis says calmly. "Just leave the girl alone."
"You're right. She's not worth it. Perhaps I'll see her 'round, though. Without the likes of you getting in the way," the Slytherin then sneers before walking away.
"Are you alright?" Ominis asks as he approaches. "Sorry about him. He's always been a bit of a prick."
"Yeah, I'm alright," you nod. "Thanks guys."
"No problem," Sebastian shrugs, glancing between the two of you.
"We should get going, Y/N. Don't want to miss dinner," Luna says, grabbing her things and walking over. "Ugh, what do you two want?"
"They were-"
"We were just saying goodbye," Ominis interrupts in the most elegant way possible. "Have a nice night, Y/N."
"Yeah, but-"
"Come on, let's go," Sebastian says, cutting you off and pushing Ominis out of the classroom.
"Luna! What the hell was that?!" you frown as the door shuts behind the two of them.
"What?! Those guys keep bothering you. It's like they're trying to steal you away or something!"
"Steal me away?" you laugh. "Luna, I'm not some kind of object. They're my friends."
"Well, maybe, but still, I don't like it," she says, crossing her arms. "There's something off about those two."
"Whatever," you roll your eyes. "Let's just go get something to eat. I'm starving."
***
Later that evening as you are sitting in your dorm, you open the small book that Ominis had given you the day before. You can't get out of your mind the moment when Ominis slammed his hand on your book, not allowing you to look inside. Is there something he didn't want you to see? But, if that's true, then why would he give it to you in the first place?
"Hmm," you say out loud, wondering if perhaps the pages have been enchanted. You open the book to a random page and look around. Everything seems fine. You start reading about the Kelpie in the Great Lake.
Subconsciously, you reach up to the necklace that Ominis had given you and toy with it between your fingers. It's beautiful, you have to admit, and it fits you well.
"Damn, this is some cool shit," you mutter as you turn the page and begin reading about the Acromantula. "Terrifying, but sick."
And then, you reach that page on Thestrals. Tears begin to well up in your eyes. You flip the page again and notice that there is not much information on the Thestral. Instead, it says, "Thestral cannot be seen by anyone who has not witnessed death. Their bodies are skeletal, and their wings resemble that of a bat's."
You blink, thinking that perhaps your eyes are playing tricks on you. You shake your head and keep reading.
"Thestral are believed to be very docile creatures, although it has been known to attack a human if provoked."
After, you gently shut the book and lean back in your bed. Thoughts of James fill your head from back when you were much younger.
"Remember, Y/N," he says, holding your hand as the pair of you walk into the grocery store. "If anyone asks about Mom and Dad, you tell them that they've asked us to take up more responsibility around the house and that we're the ones picking up the groceries from now on, understand?"
"Don't they know that mommy and daddy-"
"Shh, not so loud," he tells you. "Remember, this is our secret."
"Okay," you nod, following him down the aisles.
When you reach the cereal aisle, he stops and picks up the most bland thing he can find. Of course, because it is the cheapest. Neither of you has any money and since your parents disappeared, there's no money at home either.
"Can we have something sweet?" you ask, eyeing the chocolatey treats nearby.
"No, this is enough. Now, come on," he says, tugging your hand.
"James," you whisper as the two of you pass a mother pushing her daughter in a shopping cart. Your eyes begin to water and, even though you know James will be pissed, you can't help it. "Don't mommy and daddy love us anymore?"
James stops abruptly, causing you to bump into him. "Jesus, don't you know how to shut the hell up, Y/N? Answer your own damn question. Do you think they'd leave if they cared about either of us?"
As he turns back around and continues to pull you along, a few tears escape and trickle down your cheeks.
"No," you answer, knowing that he's right.
"Good," James mutters, leading the two of you up to the checkout. "Now nix the crying and wipe your face."
You sniff and quickly brush the tears away, doing your best to keep yourself from breaking down again.
"And what about Hunter," you say, twiddling your thumbs. If you don't cut the crap soon, James might snap.
"What about her?" he asks, paying for the food.
"Are we going to have a funeral?"
"Babies don't need funerals," he shakes his head.
"What are you going to tell the social worker?"
"That's not your concern," he frowns, grabbing the bag and pulling you away from the cashier. "Time to go home."
You had received your first black eye that night. It wasn't because James was abusive or anything, but because you fell while running after him all day long. James did everything in his power to take care of you, and for the most part, he was a pretty decent older brother. However, you never understood why he never held a funeral for your little sister. After all, both of you did see the gruesome way in which she died.
"James," you whisper to yourself.
"He's not coming, Y/N," a voice suddenly replies, making you jump. You turn around to see Luna and Amit standing in the doorway.
"Uh, what're you guys doing here?" you ask as you wipe the drool from your chin.
"Waiting for you! It's after nine already. We've got to go to breakfast. Come on!"

Would You? - Will Graham Imagine (Hannibal)
Tumblr media
Title: Would You?
Pairing: Will Graham X Reader
Word Count: 928 words
Warning(s): Will's self-image problems
Summary: (Y/n) confronts Will about something very serious. More becomes realized than they thought possible.
Author's Note: This is such a self-indulgent fic.
-------------------------------
I don't remember when I first realized how I felt for Will.
I just kind of knew.
After he started working with Jack, I felt like we were just kind of drawn to each other. I was his first call when there was a question about a case. I had tried to protect him from all of it. It all just felt like it had fallen into place. Like we had found a dynamic that worked for us.
I had tried to respect every boundary he had. It wasn't my place to push him into something he wasn't ready for. But there was only so long I could sit in the unknown.
All I wanted was to know where I stood.
I walked into the lecture hall as the students walked out. I grinned and nodded at a few.
"How'd it go," I asked as I walked over to Will's desk.
"Fine," he replied. "They didn't clap this time, which was nice."
"You don't like when they applaud you?"
"Overwhelming," he explained. "It makes this feel like a performance instead of a lecture. Inappropriate."
I nodded, "I see."
We stood in silence for a moment as he packed his bag.
"Will, can we talk about something," I asked.
"What is it," he replied.
"Um, well," I very suddenly was regretting every decision that had led me to that moment. "It's about... us."
"Us?"
"Yeah," I nodded. I felt like I was going to vomit as I walked closer to the desk. "Do you like me, Will?"
"Have I given you the impression that I didn't," he furrowed his eyebrows.
"Not in general, Will," I muttered. "I meant... do you have feelings for me?"
He froze, looking up from his bag.
Will cleared his throat. He started muttering out some response. It was messy. It was not well put together. He didn't know what he was saying or what the right way to explain himself was. I couldn't tell what he was trying to say.
"Will," I cut him off.
He looked at me.
"If I asked you to kiss me, would you," I asked.
A yes or no question. Simple answer. No rambling required. No explanations. At least, that's what I thought.
Will walked out from around the desk. I leaned back against his desk when I saw that he was glaring at me. This was the one and only occasion where I had second-guessed my relationship with Will. He looked pissed at the mere suggestion. At the time, I didn't know why. I just saw the man I love glare at me as he stood in front of me. Our bodies almost touching as he just stood in silence.
"Why would you ask me that," Will replied after a minute. I didn't have a real answer beyond the obvious.
"Because I like you," I said slowly. "A lot. I have for a while, Will. I think you're amazing."
"And what happens when you leave?"
"When I leave," I asked, pushing at the use of that word.
"One day, I'll go too far," he explained. His hands touched the desk on either side of me. "Hurt you somehow. I'll get stuck in a killer's head, I'll wake up from a nightmare and hurt you, or I'll just end up becoming a burden."
I felt any response I had get stuck in my throat and die on my tongue. How do I pull someone away from that mindset? Who had convinced him that he was so broken that anyone would leave?
"I don't think I could ever see you as a burden," I said after a minute. "I trust you with my life, Will. No matter what."
He closed his eyes and let out a heavy breath.
I leaned toward him, stopping before my lips touched his, "Will?"
His eyes opened.
"Can I...?"
I waited for him to nod before I pressed my lips to him. My hands landed on his shoulders. His arms moved to pull me closer to him.
When I pulled back, he leaned forward, trying to follow me for a moment. His eyes opened after a moment. We were just looking at each other for a while. It was like we were trying to silently figure out where we stood.
"Give this a chance," I begged. "Please."
"Okay," he muttered. I started smiling.
"Really?"
"Yes," he grinned back. "Yeah, really."
I leaned in and kissed him again. It was quick. More of a peck than anything.
"You are an amazing man, Will Graham," I said.
He froze up for a moment. He looked away, chuckling and shaking his head.
"You are," I pushed. "And I'll keep saying it until you believe me."
He looked back at me.
"And because watching you blush is very cute."
He just stepped away from me and started walking to grab his bag, an amused grin on his face.
"I'm sorry, but it is," I explained as he started walking out of the room.
"Jack needs to talk to me-"
"You get this little grin-"
"I'm leaving-"
"And you chuckle and try to shrug it off-"
He stopped by the door, turning to face me, "Please stop."
"Absolutely not," I shook my head before leaning in and kissing him again.
I walked around him to head to Jack's office.
"How much trouble are you going to cause me," Will asked as he caught up with me.
"Oh, a healthy amount," I shrugged before smiling at him again.
He smiled back.
This was going to be good. I could feel it.

A letter?
Eddie Roundtree x Fem!Reader
✧.* requested by anon — Hi!!!
✧.* you're reading part one, here's the sequel — You matter to me
✧.* summary — You and Eddie were a story in the making, which you were sure had been finished after the way you left. But now with your reunion, perhaps there is a reticence.
✧.* warnings — none.
✧.* word count — 3.2k
✧.* 🎸 — Eddie's masterlist
✧.* mandy's notes — I love this ask! And I'm working on part two for it already. Please, lmk what you guys think of this back and forth writing dynamics.
Tumblr media
You drop your keys into the jar that was on the table next to the door, then hang your coat on the hanger as you try to speed up the process to finally rest from a long day. The apartment was dark and you didn't bother turning on all the lights, contenting yourself with just the orange light from the kitchen, you went to the counter, checking the letters you had received and also collecting some newspapers from the previous days to throw away.
Days like these make you miss the constant movement and excitement that your life in Pittsburgh contained, your thoughts from time to time hovered over delicious memories that you, whether or not you wanted to have a taste of once again. It had been a few months since studying fashion had brought you to LA, and even if you were satisfied with several friends and studying what you loved, there was a huge lack of what remained there.
With the feeling of nostalgia tugging at the pit of your stomach, you head to your phone to call the number you used to answer. At the end of the line you hear three rings before the hiss and finally a voice.
“Hello?” The unexpected voice makes you wonder if you had the wrong number.
“Uh, I'm looking for Mrs Dunne?” Your voice was tired, at this point you just wanted to kill the longing.
“Y/N?” You hear the questioning after a silence, and recognizing the voice makes the butterflies in your stomach rise.
“Yeah Eddie, it's me.” You say in a breath, and once again you receive silence.
“Y/N my dear, how is everything going there?” You try to avoid the feeling of sadness about what had happened, swallowing hard.
“Everything good, and things there?” You are amazed at how natural your voice sounds.
“It's actually a bit chaotic, the boys are packing everything up in a hurry to move.” She says in a nervous laugh.
“Move? What do you mean?” You try to remember having received this information before, but you can't find it.
“Didn't you receive my letter? They will try to grow the band in LA, you might even meet up. Isn't it great? Your brothers miss you.” You didn't know if you believed the last sentence, at least not in the plural. Graham and you talked sometimes, but you and Billy hadn't talked since your move.
“That's awesome! I'm happy to hear that.” You indeed were, but you couldn't help but feel the confusion of why all this was happening now.
You have a vivid memory of sitting on the floor of Graham's room as he murmured about how unfair life was, and at that point you tried your best to help your half brother with any advice you came up with. Your face was resting on the bed when you and he looked at the door when you heard Billy knock three times, indicating that he was going to come in. They were your brothers since you were two years old, when your father married the boys' mother you grew up together in that house mostly without any problems.
They were kind to you, they always were, even though Billy was more distant. You knew someone that he was marked by something that you weren't here to witness, but in a way you understood how much a parent was missed.
The older Dunne sits on the edge of the bed, watching his older brother frustrated, you notice that he holds back his laughter feeling the nostalgia of something that perhaps he has already been through. You thought about whether you should go out and leave them alone, but you figured that if you stayed quiet it wouldn't get in the way.
“They'll be other girls.” Billy tries to comfort him, Graham for the first time stops staring at the ceiling to look at his brother.
“And how'd you know that?” You watch them talking and try your best to go unnoticed.
Billy looks at you, his gaze urgently asking you to help him with this.
“Because you know how to play the guitar" Your voice barely comes out, since you hadn't spoken for so long. Your older brother looks at you with a subtle look of 'what the fuck?'. You shrug, completing the sentence. “What? I heard it's something girls like.”
Graham lets out a muffled laugh and you're happy to have made him laugh, Billy frowns and you can see a bit of jealousy there which makes you smile.
“And besides.” Billy continues, looking at Graham again. “You’re fourteen years old!”
You laugh and your brothers accompany you. It's a comforting memory, one of the moments when you felt welcomed and loved.
However, from that day onwards Graham's obsession with having a band was born. You thought it was a good idea, after all, you spent the afternoon idly after all your homework was done, and when you sat down to design different types of clothes and sometimes sewing something with Mrs. Dunne Graham hovered around making sounds of boredom, you knew that would be good to entertain him.
He had invited his best friends, who you had been attending since you had moved in at the Dunne house. You can vividly remember the morning you were woken up by the thunderous sound of drums coming from downstairs, you curse and mumble, getting up to find out what it was about.
When you get to the bottom of the stairs, you come face to face with Warren trying to arrange his drum kit in the living room of your house, you blink a few times trying to shake off the sleep that still resides within you, Eddie's figure appears soon after with his guitar hanging around his neck. He smiles at you and you give him an even wider one.
“Does Mrs Dunne know what you guys are doing here?” You say in a laugh, Warren turns to Eddie for that answer, his messy curls reaching his eyes.
“I guess so…” Roundtree answers you, moving closer to you. And your body demonstrates a fact that you had hidden from your brother: the girl who was attracted to men who played guitar was you, and he was the boy you felt attracted to. “Do you know where Graham is, sunshine?”
Your legs shake at the nickname that gradually became common coming from him, you shake your head, spending as much time as possible observing Roundtree closely. “I literally just woke up. But assuming that you guys already looked for him in his room, you should try the garage.”
“On it!” Warren exclaims, heading towards the garage but not before winking at Eddie who rolls his eyes.
You frown, and are slowly eroded by the silence that surrounds you and Roundtree. He clears his throat “I think they made omelets, if I were you I'd run before Chuck finds out.”
“Would you like to join me?” You ask in a whisper, afraid of the answer. "I mean, if I'm not busy with all this.” You gesture to the instruments piled up on the couch and Rojas' drums.
“I'd love that.” He smiles, leaving you with the pleasant nervousness of falling in love.
Now the orange light wasn't enough to make you see your surroundings without your eyes hurting, so getting rid of the vivid memory you decide to immerse your thoughts in what you loved the most ‘create clothes’. Recently you were obsessed with a specific style you had noticed on the streets of the city, and the way women in particular looked most beautiful in the prints you had in mind, your goal now was to create a line to present in the same style and this had involved your last thoughts and efforts in the last few days.
You didn't know how to shake off the bittersweet feeling of having your childhood experiences in the same city, it was good when it came to homesickness, but you couldn't shake off the thought that would always go to Eddie Roundtree. After all, even after so long you couldn't shake the love that arose in your chest when his face came back to memory.
You smile when you remember that innocent and calm love that always surrounded you two, the first of so many things for each other, your firsts were his and his were yours. And even though he seemed to try, distance wouldn't erase that, but of course, the thought that he wanted to delete such memories hurt.
Of course, you weren't sure about that, you had no way of knowing if he actually wanted to erase everything you lived through since you didn't speak to each other anymore. But it was customary for you to always expect the worst so as not to be disappointed if it turns out to be true.
You accompanied your brothers to band practice with your sketchbook in hand, with no other plans for the afternoon other than watching them play while using the band and their inspirational styles. You guys liked the idea that in the future you would be successful as a fashion designer and they would be the biggest band in the world with you making every outfit they would wear off and on stage.
“Hey Y/N, glad you're joining us!” Chuck says as he opens the garage door for you to enter, you smile.
“Thanks for having me.” You thank him, already taking your place on the ottoman he used to leave for you there. "Cami, You came!" You say running towards your good friend, and now, sister-in-law.
“But of course, I wasn't going to miss a preview of your prom show.” She says hugging you back, then looking at the boys.
“Yeah, about that…” Your voice makes all the boys look at you scared. "No! Oh sorry, now that I noticed what you could understand, What I meant was that I don't even know if I'm going.”
“What? Why?” Warren asks, twirling one of the drumsticks in your left hand.
“I thought you were looking forward to it.” Graham adds, intrigued along with concerned.
“She was, what happened sunshine?” Eddie asks, you could see he was very confused.
“I just don't want to be alone, you all already have dates." You try to explain, they look at you intently. "And my friends too, so..."
“I thought you liked our dates." Chuck says, trying to tell you that you would still have their company.
“Yeah, and besides, you know Amanda is looking forward to meeting you.” Rojas says, referring to his date and new girlfriend.
Eddie didn't say anything, but you feel his gaze on you the entire time, which makes you avoid his gaze.
“Are you being serious?” Billy asks, his tone sharp as usual. You shrug. “I thought that Jamie guy was going with you." You can see he's holding himself back from rolling his eyes, and Eddie stops looking at you to look at him.
“Jamie?” Warren asks what everyone was wanting. "Really?”
“You said that it was a bad idea.” You say angrily to Billy, because he was acting like he wasn't partly to blame for this.
“Yes, but if you're going to complain about going alone, you'd better accept the invitation." You suck in a breath, and Billy triggers a deafening silence in the room.
“I'm going out for a walk.” You say leaving, if you let no one stop you or ask you to stay.
“Really bro?” You hear Rojas' voice as it fades out as you move away.
You don't know how long you spent kicking pebbles on the sidewalk outside your house, slowly becoming grateful that your house wasn't so far from Chuck's and that soon you were on your own. You feel the presence of someone approaching, and decide not to look at whoever it was, it was still daytime and you didn't feel threatened by being alone on the street.
“Billy is a dick!” Roundtree speaks, sitting next to you, and you laugh melancholically. “I'm sorry about him, you know that if you don't want you, you don't have to do anything, right?”
You nod, still looking ahead and not at him. And that's why you don't notice how nervous he was, thinking minutely about his next words and how to do it. He opens his mouth and closes it without saying anything a couple of times before getting straight to the point.
“Go with me.” That's all he says, and you look at him with a frown.
“Is this a joke?” You start to get irritated just by this prospect, he holds your thigh so you don't get up.
“No.” He makes it clear, and you try to understand what the hell was going on. “I don't have a date.”
“But you said…”
“Let me be clearer." He says, holding back a laugh. "I don't have a date anymore.”
“You didn't have to do that." You say, with a bittersweet feeling of happiness.
“I wanted to, and besides, you know my times with you are always amazing.” You feel your cheeks burn as your smile widens. "So, what do you say?”
“Of course, I'd love to go with you." You hug him, feeling your body fill with butterflies. "Thank you, really.”
“I'll pick you up at eight?" He says, seeing you get up to go to your house.
“But don't you go early to check the sound?" You say holding back a smile.
“Oh yeah, forgot about that.” He says scratching the back of his head. “Then...”
“We can meet at Chuck's.” You say, completing his reasoning.
You take a deep breath before you knock on the door, automatically holding your folder with your drawings close to your chest, as if that would protect them from any judgment you theorized could happen.
When the wooden object opens, you can't contain your smile, and open your arms to welcome your brother in a hug. He squeezes you with longing and happiness, in the corner of your eyes you can see the rest of the band smiling when they look at you. When breaking away from the hug, everyone in the band gets their due "hi" and "I missed you!" of you, as soon as you finish talking to Karen and getting to know her you turn to Roundtree.
“Hey.” You say in a low voice, as if anything that involved you and Eddie was a secret. Perhaps a force of habit.
“Hello Y/N” His voice comes out harshly, something you hadn't imagined coming from your reunion.
“Good to see you.” By this time, you were feeling the tension building up. “Look, maybe we should talk about…”
“I don't think that's a great idea.” He cuts you off, avoiding looking deep into your eyes.
“Oye Eddie, check out this vest that I brought!” Rojas' voice calls him, and you try to ignore the tightness in your chest.
“I'll see you around.” He says, walking over to the curly-haired drummer.
“Everything alright, honey?” Camila's voice makes you jump in fright, but when you come face to face with her, your body melts.
You hug her immediately, gradually feeling calmer. "I'm so glad you're here, you have no idea”
She notices your gaze fixed on Eddie when you leave the hug, and knows (more than anyone) what that gaze held. All the history you had since that prom, which was put on hiatus due to the reticence caused by your departure.
“So you and Eddie?” She asks, looking concerned.
“I fear that's not even a thing anymore.” You swallow your upset, and put into practice what brought you there. “Hey y'all, gather here! I can't wait to show you what I came up with since I knew you were coming.”
“You know we don't even have a record company yet, right?” Billy asks, but not in a harsh, rude tone. But in fact, genuinely curious.
“I know, but you wouldn't come here if you didn't believe you were going to wear these clothes on stage one day." You smile, causing your brother to do the same. “So shut up and come and see it.”
You see they laugh with you, not noticing that Eddie was holding his.
Your hands shook as you positioned the letter in front of your boyfriend, if you could call him that. For everyone, Eddie had only done you a favor on the day of the prom, but in reality you had been sneaking out ever since.
The vivid memory of the cold wind hitting your skin took you to that night, ‘The Dunne brothers’ had already made the show a while ago and he didn't take long to grab your hand and guided you to the roof. You had no idea if they were allowed to be there, but fuck it, you had finished school and nothing would be important after that night.
You sat together eating some food that you had brought, and the comfortable silence hovered between you. You feel his gaze on you, and you slowly gain the courage to say what you've been thinking since that day began.
“Thank you.” Your voice comes out in a whisper. “For doing this with me.”
“Are you kidding?” He says between a laugh. "I always have a blast with you. And to be honest, I kinda want this to last forever.”
“Yeah me too.” You look deep into his eyes, and see him get closer, interspersing his gaze between your lips and your eyes.
It stops when you are inches close, You feel his breathing and his intense gaze, little by little the party music fades away, being replaced by the beat of his heart.
“Why did you stop?” You whisper, looking now at his lips.
“Your brothers are going to kill me." He says jokingly, making you smile. “But I never cared what they thought anyway.”
One of his hands goes up to your cheeks, caressing your skin before kissing your lips. You didn't know what an explosion it would be like when it happened, but your body surrendered to it every second, and since then, you two haven't been able to put an end to it. And honestly, you didn't even want to.
Eddie takes the letter in hand, knowing that your nervousness probably indicated something. He wasn't angry, but disappointed, and it broke your heart.
“You were going to leave me a letter?” He speaks in disbelief, a few tears appearing in his eyes.
“Babe, let me explain…” You say but he interrupts you.
“You were going to leave, and I was going to be the last to know…” Your voice was choked, and you felt your tears running down your cheeks. "Damn sunshine, a fucking letter?!”
“I couldn't find the right time to tell you. " You say taking his hands, sitting next to him. "I didn't want to upset you…”
“Did you really think I was going to be upset?" He looked hurt by it all, and you wanted to disappear. "That I would be upset watching my girlfriend achieve her dream?"
“When you put it like that, well.” You close your mouth before finishing your thought.
“I wish you the best." He stands up, and you watch him closely. “You will rock, I'm sure.”
“Where are you going?” You say through tears, and he turns so you don't see his.
“I need some air. " He says, opening the door, and leaving.
You didn't see him in the days after, and on the day you were all packed to leave… he left you a letter.

guitar - graham montague
Tumblr media
Something that's been sitting in my drafts for awhile. 1.082 words - the first thing I´ve published in awhile, second in total open to constructive critisism
Graham Montague x Reader
It's almost breakfast time, when Daphne sits down besides you on the black leather couch with a groan. She's never been a morning person and especially moody when having to wait for someone that keeps her from getting her first coffee in the morning.
It has been like this since their first day. All of the slytherin students in your year, walking to the Great Hall and having breakfast together. You think it's cute that after all these years it's still the same. Knowing that even though you've formed into two smaller groups, you found your second family in these people.
"If Montague doesn't come out of his room soon, I'll kill him", Daphne calls out, throwing her hands over her eyes and sinking into the couch.
We really do love each other.
"Crystal, can you please go and tell Graham to hurry up?" Adrian asks you, "I know if one of us is going back he will take extra time out of spite and I don't want to deal with Daphne and Graham."
"Of course it's me having to do the dirty work again.", you say, rolling your eyes. Having a smile on your face regardless once you turn around, because you just can't stay mad at Adrian. Actually, no one can, he's the glue that keeps this friend group together. Not that anyone would say that out loud, but we all know it's true.
"Why does it have to be Montague though?", you ask yourself walking down the dark corridor, the only source of light being the window at the end of the hallway that illuminates the space in that all too familiar teal colour.
It's not like there is anything wrong with Graham - not at all. But you never had anything to do with him other than walking to breakfast and classes together with our friends.
You walk through the wooden door that leads into the boys dormitory and look over the seating area at the five entrances to the different rooms, finding Graham's door but hesitate before knocking.
"It's not that deep, just get him for breakfast.", not knowing why you suddenly feel weird about it, you try to brush the feeling aside and knock on his door.
"Who's there?"
"It's Crystal."
"Come in."
Opening the door, the first thing you see is Graham standing in the middle of his room facing you.
"You could have told me you're almost naked.", you tell him, turning away and dramatically covering your eyes, not without saving that image of him standing there with his uncovered upper body in your head.
"You entered my room and want to tell me to wear clothes, that's not how it works.", the mockery in his tone not to be missed.
Turning back around, you see he is already buttoning up the shirt. "I'm only here to get you for breakfast, Adrian sent me."
"As you have seen I need to finish getting dressed and pack my back before I can join you", he says, stops to button his shirt half way up to look at me while he is talking, "you're welcome to stay and wait for me."
"By the way I don't think you've been in my room before let me give you a quick tour."
He showed her every corner of the room with grande hand gestures, selling it like it's not just a small student dormitory. "And finally", he says taking a few steps to the right, "here's the bed. Feel at home."
You see him finally returning his attention to his shirt, when you sit down on the bed and start looking around the room, not wanting him to catch you watching him change into his uniform.
The room is built up like any other student's room. A bed on the right side with a nightstand on each side, the desk standing in the left corner and the dresser on the left wall.
What is more interesting for you is the way everyone seems to be able to make their room individual. You see the photo of his parents, at least that's who you think the two grown up people on that picture are, on his right side nightstand, posters of the Montrose Magpies - that already start to fray in the corners - hanging on the wall opposite to you and a guitar in the very back of the room.
"I didn't know you played the guitar.", looking up from the guitar to him, seeing he started to pack his bag already.
"You don't know a lot about me."
"He's right." - "You never tell anyone about yourself."
"You never asked.", he turns to you saying that.
"He's right again."
He looks at you, raising an eyebrow, challenging you to continue with this banter.
"Your mouth seems to work perfectly fine, you could have told me yourself."
"Where's the fun in that? ", he turns his attention back to his bag, probably thinking you will not find an answer to his question.
He's right once again, you don't answer, though you'd never tell him that it's because you have none.
"Why did you never play for us when we were hanging out?" The guitar and why it is standing there, seemingly abandoned, still makes you curious.
"I'm mostly playing for myself, didn't touch it for a while though.", he closes his bag, nodding for me to get up, "I got it without my parents knowing. Apparently it's not the type of instrument a Montague needs to play."
"What a stupid thing to say."
He starts smiling and shaking his head, looking at his hand resting on the door handle. "No need to tell me."
"So when are you showing me that you can actually play it?", you tilt your head looking at him as he turns around, his gaze shortly going towards the guitar before he looks at you.
"Daphne will eat the both of us if we don't leave now, I'll show you after classes.", this is the first time since you were children that you've seen him smile like that. It seems more genuine than anything you saw from him lately. It's still hidden, you only see the true impact in the way his eyes lighted up after he suggested it.
It was at this moment, you knew you wanted him to have a space where he doesn't feel like he has to hide his emotions. And you planned to do everything to be the person to give it to him.
