To my irls who requested I make Kuai Liang smut to feed his tag🤞🏾
▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎▪︎
"Lord Liu Kang." You greeted, bowing at the waist beside your husband as he did the same, both of you rising back up to look upon the God as he addressed you both with kind smiles.
"I hope building up the Shirai Ryu hasn't been too difficult during my absence." Liu Kang hummed, beginning to walk forward between the both of you, making you fall into formation on either side of him. "Geras had informed me of another incursion on our timeline, it had to be dealt with quickly." He explained, his hands clasped together before him.
Coming to a stop alongside him and Kuai Liang as you all looked upon the courtyard, you saw that only two individuals were training right then, their training overseen by Smoke. Hanzo, the young boy that Tomas had came across, and another young initiate, Kazuma. "It is no problem at all, Lord Liu Kang, you have more pressing matters to attend to than helping us with the Clan." Kuai Liang stated, gaze locked on the two boys sparring with one another. Hanzo has tenacity, and was like a ball of fire with the fury that resided within him. Luckily, he had pretty good control over it. Lest he become more of a threat than an ally.
You nodded in agreement, though you too were more focused on watching the boys train than the words that had fallen from Liu Kang's lips. You both had had so many less than promising initiates that you were both proud of how far he had come and yet were also afraid to lose your most promising one due to his tenacity. Already Hanzo had been in plenty of fights against the Lin Kuei, and though he was skilled, the Lin Kuei were seasoned, you both didn't want him to grow cocky and arrogant. For that would be his downfall.
"I am glad you both understand. It worries me when I am unable to provide aid for others for an extended amount of time, anything could happen." The fire God confessed, moving on to continue walking, "Though I guess these are unnecessary worries, for you both are well equipped to hold your own." He added.

Before any of you could say anything more, the sound of materializing sand reached your ears and you all turned as Geras appeared. He greeted you and your husband with a head nod before looking to Liu Kang with a slightly concerned expression. "I'll be right back." Liu Kang stated, a seriousness dripping into his usually warm tone as he and Geras walked out of earshot.
You looked at them for a moment, wondering what the issue may be, but your attention was pulled away by a warm hand taking yours. "I do hope things aren't getting too out of hand." Kuai Liang sighed, rubbing his thumb over the ring that was nestled onto your finger. With every pass of his thumb, the ring seemed to get warmer, not to a painful amount, but it was comforting.
"Things seem to be spiraling as of late, though Lord Liu Kang always knows he can come to us for help. We are the protectors of Earthrealm, stopping these..invasions is a part of doing that." You stated, taking in a soft breath through your nose. There were so many things to worry about and so much to complete when it came to building the Shirai Ryu, it was stressful but you both had assured one another it would be completed together. You, Kuai Liang, and Tomas. That's the only way it would be done efficiently and to the best quality. It was a difficult task, but one that had to be done to take up the large gap created in Earthrealm's defense thanks to Bi-Han's betrayal.
Already, you had lost one close to you all to Bi-Han, luckily it was only to be temporary. Harumi had nearly been killed by your shared husband's brother, and for her safety and for the best recovery, she had moved into a neighboring clan to hopefully stay under the Lin Kuei's radar. Bi-Han had told Kuai Liang himself that family was not off limits, the extent of his dangerous intent would not stop for anyone. "You-"
"Mrs. Shirai." Turning your head to address Liu Kang, you kept your hand in Kuai Liang's hoping to provide him some comfort for the turmoil that he surely felt even more than anyone else. "I need to speak with you for a moment, in private, please."
Kuai Liang didn't say anything, but he gave your hand a small squeeze before dropping his back to his side. You smiled at him, before nodding at Liu Kang and following behind him.

"Is everything alright, Lord Liu Kang?" You asked, eyebrows raised slightly. You had a feeling you already knew the answer. Glancing to the side for but a moment to address a worker who had just finished repairs on a building, you didn't notice that Liu Kang had stopped walking. You nearly bumped into his chest as he turned around, and the speed at which you stopped and tried to take a step back almost made you stumble. Bringing a hand forward, Liu Kang steadied you with a respectful yet firm hold on your waist, before his hands came back to being held in front of him. "Sorry." You laughed lightly, and were pleased that he laughed as well.
"It's alright, I probably should have said something." He waved off the accident, eyes kind as he addressed you. "On another note, though-" He began, "Geras has informed me of..yet another, invasion onto this timeline. I do not know how these other Titans keep getting through, but there has to be a reason."
"Who is it this time?" You asked, knowing that one of the first to break through had been a Scorpion from a past timeline, Hanzo, the very same kid the Shirai Ryu had taken in and began to train. You had wondered if that may have meant something, but whenever you asked the God before you, he never gave you a definite answer.
Arms crossed over his chest, Kuai Liang tried not to stare too hard at you and Liu Kang, but he was curious. Why did the God have to talk to you in private? If it was something serious, shouldn't he know too? His brows furrowed slightly, feeling an unusual feeling build within him. He watched as you both conversed, Liu Kang placing a hand on your shoulder. Had Liu Kang always been so touchy? Kuai Liang almost wanted to walk over and see what you two were talking about himself, but he knew better, he had been taught better. He may have been a Grandmaster now, but he knew that was not on the same level as Lord Liu Kang. He was a Titan, a Keeper of Time, he held more power than anyone could probably fathom.
Shaking his head, Kuai Liang tried and failed to try to turn his attention onto something else. He couldn't stop looking at the interaction, taking in every glance, every touch. The way Liu Kang looked at you, was that too fond? The way he would smile at you, and you would smile back. Kuai Liang hadn't noticed his darkened expression until a familiar voice came from beside him.
"Kuai Liang? Is everything alright?" Tomas seemed to appear beside him, glancing over towards where you stood with Liu Kang before looking back at the orange-clad ninja.
It took a moment for Kuai Liang to register what Tomas was saying, and when he did, he finally looked over at him. "I'm fine, brother. Why do you ask?" Kuai Liang questioned, noticing the irritation seeping through his tone and trying to lighten it as he spoke. Tomas looked at him with a raised brow, clearly not convinced.
  "You look tense."
"I'm fine. How were Hanzo and Kazuma?" Kuai Liang asked, trying to get his mind off of what was going on in front of him. Though he couldn't help but keep glancing back at the conversation, watching Liu Kang rub your arm.

"They were pretty good, I think Kazuma is trying to keep up with Hanzo, and so they are pushing eachother to do better." Tomas explained, looking between Kuai Liang and you again, you finally had began to come back over. "I can tell you more later though." He stated, noticing something that Kuai Liang hadn't. Looking over at his younger brother, Kuai Liang furrowed his brows at the knowing look given to him before Tomas made his departure.
A soft hand on his cheek made him look forward again, and he felt much better seeing you in front of him. Looking at him with a kind smile. When he glanced up, Kuai Liang could no longer see Liu Kang. That was fine, Kuai Liang didn't know what he would say if he talked to him right then. "What was that about?" Kuai Liang asked, bringing a hand up to grab yours and interlace your fingers with his.
"Lord Liu Kang was just informing me on what Geras had told him." You stated, leaving it at that. Kuai Liang wasn't pleased with that answer though. If that was the case, what was all the touching and full smiles? What Geras had told Liu Kang certainly couldn't have been any good, so what else had you both talked about? He didn't want to interrogate you though, but at the same time, he had never felt so much..negative emotion towards Liu Kang like this before.
"If it's important, shouldn't I know as well?" Kuai Liang asked. He could see the conflict in your eyes, the uncertainty.
"Lord Liu Kang asked that I keep this to myself. At least until the situation worsens, which he told me it most likely wouldn't. So, it should be fine." You stated, offering your husband a small smile.
Kuai Liang didn't know how he felt about it. He was the Grandmaster, shouldn't he know of all threats? But besides that, you were his wife, he didn't want you to be in harms way. He wanted to know the details, wanted to make sure you were safe and wouldn't head out somewhere on your own. He had already almost lost Harumi. Whatever you guys did, you swore you would do it together. Kuai Liang released your hand and instead brought his down to hold your waist, feeling the slightest of shivers from you. It was something you always did whenever he touched your waist, or held your hips. Did you do the same when Liu Kang held you there? He glanced up from where his hand held you to your eyes, and he saw the way you must've noticed the look in his own.
"Kuai Liang-" You started, but got cut off as he pressed his lips to yours, albeit brief, it was passionate and filled with his frustrations. When you parted, you looked dazed.
Before you knew it, Kuai Liang had led you to your shared room, laid on your bed, and you could feel his warm hands pressing heavy against your skin as he pushed open your robes and snaked beneath your undershirt. You could barely catch your breath as he pressed his lips against yours, every momentary separation being kept together by a string of saliva. You had never had him be so rough with you, and you had barely even done anything yet. He relished in every shiver you gave him, every gasping breath, your hands burying themselves into his hair that was freed of the bun he normally wore it in.
"What's gotten into you?" You finally ask as he pulled away long enough for you to formulate a sentence, chest heaving as you tried to catch your breath. Kuai Liang pulled away, sitting back and grabbing your hand to pull you up with him.
"What is this?" Kuai Liang asked, running his thumb over the band of your wedding ring.
"My ring?" You responded, brows furrowed in slight confusion.
"Who put this on you?" He continued, pressing a few soft kisses along the tips of your fingers, though he didn't allow his gaze to break away from yours.
  "You did."
  "And what does that mean?"
You didn't say anything for a moment, lost in the warm brown lust-filled eyes of your husband. He let out a huff, his hands warm on your skin, "What does that mean." He repeated, letting go of your hand and wrapping his arm around your waist, moving you both around so he was seated in your spot and you rested in his lap. With his other hand, he held your jaw, tilting your head up to give him more space to lick and kiss along your neck.
Shivering as he bit into your skin, nearly enough to draw blood, you let out a pleasured sigh as you answered, "I'm yours.."
"That's right.." Kuai Liang pulled away from your neck so he could finish shedding you of your clothes, leaving you only in your pants and underwear since he couldn't do much else from this position. "You're mine."
Placing his hands onto your hips, Kuai Liang began to grind your body down against his, not caring for the layers of clothes that still separate you there. You could feel how hard he had become, his erection pressed to you in all the right places. Your hands held tight on his shoulders as you moaned, though afterwards you were quick to try to get him free of his own clothes. You struggled as Kuai Liang didn't let up, but you managed to snake your hands inside the opening of his robe and inner shirt, tugging it apart and revealing more of his neck and chest to you.
Kuai Liang briefly relented in his motions only so that he could pull his arms through the articles of clothing, it all folding over against the belt around his waist, leaving his upper body bare to you as yours was to him. "Though you.." You began, running your hands over his broad shoulders, your left hand trailing up beforehand to run along the scorpion tattoo that ran across his upper arm. "You are mine as well." You stated, gasping out as Kuai Liang wrapped an arm around you again, turning his body and pressing you down against the bed as he ended up on top of you once more.
Kissing you once, twice, before beginning to kiss down your body, Kuai Liang didn't seem to let up in his fervor, if anything, it served to grow even more. His hands were warm as they tugged down your pants and underwear and left you bare beneath him. Yes, he was yours and you were his, and though he knew neither of you needed to be reminded, a small refresher was never a bad thing. For his head could still not get rid of the sight of Lord Liu Kang's hand on your body, and for that he needed to let his mind be filled with memories of how you felt beneath his hands. His touch bringing those sounds he loved so much from you. Rather it be a moan, a laugh, or a contented sigh.
Kissing down your stomach, Kuai Liang purposefully skipped over the place he knew you wanted him most to place kisses and bites along the insides of your thighs. Your legs came up to rest over his shoulders, heels pressing into his back in an attempt to pull him closer that only made him let out a small huff of a laugh as he continued to indulge himself. Though he knew prolonged time doing so sometimes caused you to become shy, Kuai Liang was always one to spend time appreciating your body before ever actually truly touching you. It was done for a short moment earlier when he had placed kisses along your fingers, but now that he had gotten you completely bare, he wanted to do more.
Your thighs were his favorite, for when with you, in private, he spent a lot of time on them. You were always coaxing him to rest his head on your legs and let you run your fingers through his hair to relieve some stress from the day. He could spend all day on them, or between them.
Wrapping his arms around your thighs and pressing his hands into your hips, Kuai Liang finally moved his face to be level with your most sensitive place. The jealousy that had plagued his thoughts began to give way to being focused entirely on you. Liu Kang could not and would not ever be graced with the sight of you like this. Wouldn't hear that delicious sigh you let out when he finally placed his mouth on your cunt, the way your body strained against his hands. Wouldn't feel your fingers running through his hair and tugging as he took to eating you out like it was the only task he had ever been given.
No, you were his, and he was yours. "Pull your legs up." Kuai Liang huffed, licking his lips and tasting you on them, releasing the hold he had had on you so you could follow through with his command. You did as asked, and Kuai Liang smiled as he was on you once again. Like this, with your legs up and his arms keeping them pinned down, he could easily keep you still enough for him to indulge in you to the best of his capabilities. Licking a long stripe up your cunt, Kuai Liang did not let up as he slightly shook his head from side to side, putting a little more of his body weight down on you as you mewled and pushed up against him.
"Kuai Liang~" You moaned above him, driving him to continue. He couldn't help but push his hips down against the bed in hopes of relieving himself of some of the pressure that had built up in the front of his pants. Kuai Liang groaned against you at the friction caused, and was answered with another moan from you at the added stimulation. He took to rutting his hips against the bed to keep himself sated whilst he focused on you, letting out a slight guttural groan as you tugged his hair and tried to grind your hips against his face the best you could. Adjusting his hold on you, Kuai Liang gripped you tighter, pressing you down so that you could only sit and endure the onslaught of pleasure.
Your moans were a delight to his ears, filling his head and swirling around in it until it was all he could think about. How as you grew closer, they grew in pitch, whining and crying out to him as you gave in to the feeling of it all. Even as you came on his tongue, your body shuddering against him, Kuai Liang didn't stop. He kept going, knowing that the grip he held on you would surely leave marks, but he liked that thought. Liked that you would have something that reminded you of him that only you and him would see. One of your hands came down to grip his forearm, nails digging into his skin as you came again, this one harder than the last.
It was only then that he pulled away, his hands rubbing along your thighs and helping you bring your legs back down to rest along the sheets. "Are you alright?" He asked, watching you as your chest heaved as you tried to catch your breath. You looked over him with glazed over eyes, but you still were present enough to nod your head.
"Good." Standing up, Kuai Liang began to undo the belt around his waist. "Because we aren't done yet."
Talking off the belt, the clothes that had been bunched up around it fell, and he took a moment to kick off his pants as well. You looked to him with a gaze filled with intrigue and lust. Eagerly accepting the kiss he gave as he wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you close. He hummed softly as he pulled away, before using that hold he had on you to easily flip you over. Letting go of you to grab onto one of the pillows on the bed, Kuai Liang sat back on his heels and patted the side of your ass. "Up." He ordered, waiting for you to lift your hips up enough for him to slide the pillow beneath them.
Letting out a soft breath at the sight, Kuai Liang ignored the urge he got to indulge himself in the taste of you once again, and instead positioned his legs on either side of yours. Balancing his weight on one arm, Kuai Liang used the other to run his fingers along your slick folds, gathering the mixture of his saliva and your release that glistened with the light it would catch. "Kuai Liang.." You breathed out, wiggling your hips in an effort to get more stimulation. It made him smile.
"Still want more? I thought you'd be more tired." He joked, knowing damn well after years of being married together that your stamina had grown to match his, and that no session you both had ended after just one round unless you were interrupted. You glanced back at him from over your shoulder, and he could catch a hint of the smile that you wore thanks to the way it reached your eyes.
"I can take all that you give me."
Kuai Liang's eyebrow jerked up slightly, rubbing his slick-covered hand along his cock to aid in making things as smooth as possible. "Is that so?" He questioned as he guided himself to your cunt, slowly pushing in. A soft moan left your lips as he slid further inside, pulling back for but a moment only to continue forward with a bit more force. Your walls enveloped him in a warmth that was different than the one he constantly lived in, and he found relish and comfort in it.
You finally responded to his question with a hum of confirmation, arching your back a bit more and letting out a shaky breath at the added stimulation. Kuai Liang lowered himself down until he was resting on his forearms, snaking his hands under your arms so he could hold onto your shoulders to keep you in place as he began to grind his hips against yours. One of your hands came back to hold onto his thigh whilst the other gripped his arm, and he felt your hands clench as he began to actually thrust. It did not take him long to find a pace that worked for both of you but was faster than the slower one that he usually would go at. Kuai Liang had always taken it slow with you before, he liked to draw it out, to spend as much time with you connected as one as he possibly could.
Though for once, he wanted more than that. He wanted to leave with you both covered in the marks of one another, and while he didn't like to think about others knowing what happens in his private life, he wouldn't mind anyone seeing the testaments to his love to you left on your skin or his. Just so they could make it clear in their heads that you were his wife and that you belonged to one another.

You cried out beneath him as he continued to press against the most sensitive spot within you, driving you closer and closer to yet another orgasm. Your walls tightened sporadically around him as that peak began to draw near again. In this position, you almost felt overwhelmed with how much you could feel. So close like this, you could feel Kuai Liang's chest pressing against your upper back, your shins resting over his calves, feel his breath against your skin. His hands were tight on your shoulders as he fucked you into the mattress, the bed shifting with every thrust, your moans broken as your body jerked forward with each hit of his hips against your ass.
The only thing on your mind was Kuai Liang.
He knew it too, if the way his name fell from your lips like a mantra said anything.

"Cl-mm-close..." You moaned, your nails digging into Kuai Liang's thigh as your other hand moved from his forearm to grip the bedsheets. Kuai Liang was too, you could tell in the way you could feel his cock twitch, and just how loud he had become. Usually, he was more quiet, merely huffing or groaning. Now, almost every thrust was accompanied by a grunt, and he moaned at the feeling your nails pressing into his skin, and he groaned as your walls squeezed him.
With one final thrust, you both came at the same time. You felt as if you had never moaned so loud, body tensed as the moan came almost guttural. Your voice had been so loud in your ears you didn't even catch that Kuai Liang had finished too until you noticed his hands pressed against the bed rather than gripping your shoulders. You could hear the slightest of whines leave him, his arms shaking as he fought through his climax to keep himself from placing all of his body weight down onto you. His breathing was heavy, washing over your skin and making you shiver.
Your lower stomach felt warm from him finishing inside, but your shoulders felt warmer. Sliding your hand over, you placed your hand on top of his, and you could feel just how hot his hands had grown. Taking a moment to catch your breath, you whimpered at the empty feeling as Kuai Liang pulled out. Moving the pillow from beneath your hips, you groaned as you flipped over onto your back, looking up at Kuai Liang now and taking in his disheveled state. His face was flushed, strands of hair sticking to his skin as he looked down at you with eyes darkened thanks to the dilation of his pupils. You always thought he looked so good like this.
Bringing a hand over, you hummed at the warmth of Kuai Liang's palm as he pressed it against your cheek before leaning down and capturing your lips in his. The warmth was opposed by the coldness of his ring, and you found yourself being lost in the feeling of his mouth on yours. Tasting hints of yourself on his tongue. You hadn't even noticed him realigning himself with your entrance before he had began to push in again. You both moaned into the kiss, your arms coming up to wrap around his neck and pull him closer. He wasn't fully hard again, not yet, but he liked the warmth when being nestled into your cunt.
It was warm, yet it was also messy, your shared ecstasy slathered along the front of his thighs and the inner sides of yours, sticky as it coated his cock. "Are you going to tell me what made you want to do this?" You asked after a moment of silence, easily following along with the motion of Kuai Liang rolling you both over so you could rest against his chest. Slightly rolling your hips so you could get more comfortable, you also did it to hear the hitched breath that came from him.
"I..did not like seeing Lord Liu Kang touch you." Kuai Liang stated, running his hands along your sides and up and down your back, soothing the marks he had left behind.
You rose an eyebrow as you planted your hands into the bed so you could push yourself up and look him in the eyes. "You were jealous? Kuai Liang-"
"I know, it is a childish thought. But the way you both looked as you talked to one another, it made me think."
Shaking your head, you pressed a soft kiss to his lips before pulling away and carefully pushing yourself up into a sitting position, his hands sliding down your body to rest on your hips. "If you know it is childish then stop thinking about it. I am your  wife, Kuai Liang, and you are the only man who could ever make me feel the things you do."
Grabbing his right hand, you placed yours over it and guided his hand up your body, leaning forward so your body was closer to his. Bringing his hand to your breast, you prompted him to squeeze it and run his fingers over your nipple. "No other man can touch me like this." You affirmed, brows furrowing slightly at the rush of pleasure from the attention to your chest before guiding his hand further up. "I'd let no other man touch me like this, unless they wished to lose their hands." You stated, seeing a flash of dark intrigue in his eyes. You didn't fail to notice over the years that your husband was one to get turned on by shows of your strength and battle prowess. You were rewarded in feeling his cock grow more erect within you.
Guiding his hand up your neck, you parted your lips and took two of his fingers into your mouth, tasting a hint of the both of you on his fingers. You hummed around them as he pressed his fingers against your tongue before pushing himself up with his other arm so he could wrap it around your waist. Pulling his fingers from your mouth, Kuai Liang brought his hands to grip your ass, starting off slow in moving you up and down now that he was fully turned on again. "My beautiful wife.." Kuai Liang began, pressing kisses along your neck and shoulder, "My beautiful yet deadly wife." He hummed, leaving marks along your skin where your clothes would cover.
His words did not match with the pace he came to set, as his hands forced you up and down on his cock at a pace that made your ass sting with the force of it hitting against his thighs. The room filled with sounds of your shared pleasure, a symphony of moans and proclamations of your love. The sticky slap of skin on skin, breathless moans and guttural groans, the slight creak of the bed as it followed the heavy motion of it all. Kuai Liang's hands were hot on your skin, but he kept himself under control, not letting himself grow too hot to leave burns. Your hands buried into his hair, grip tight on the dark brown tresses as your body gave in to the pleasure it was being given.
Kuai Liang did not relent, did not stop as your walls squeezed him like a vice as you came once again, body shaking as your grip on him became near painful. He did not stop even as your body shuddered with the aftershocks, not slowing down until your nails dug into the scorpion tattoo on his bicep and let out a choked sob as you came yet again, this time pulling a moan from him as your cunt tightening around him pulled him over the edge with you. He slowed down your movements until you were both still, save for your shuddering breaths and shivering bodies. "You're alright..I've got you, just breathe." Kuai Liang huffed, wrapping his arms around your waist and holding you close to him.
Your body grew heavier against him as all the energy you both had built up seemed to finally release, and he let out a small chuckle as you pressed your head into the crook of his neck. "I'll draw a bath." Kuai Liang stated, carefully pulling you off of his cock, biting his lip to hold back a sound at how sensitive he felt. You let out a tired hum, relaxing into the plush mattress as he pulled the blankets up over you.
  "I love you."
He smiled a little lopsided at you, exhaustion wracking through his body as well, but he forced himself to get up so he could care for you. Pressing a soft kiss to your forehead, he brought his hand up to move some strands of hair from being in your face. "I love you too."

boys and their kinks pls?! 😳👉👈 who's the kinkiest of them all 🥵
Sweating nervously but also hell fuckin yea, major NSFW below the cut so if u ain't 18+ I best not catch you looking down there.
Also, going out of town until next week, I will still be able to post some but it'll be at a much slower rate so thanks for your patience in the meantime! Love y'all and I'll be back in full next week.
Kazuma Kiryu
Loves shower sex. Honestly, any sex involving some form of getting physically wet appeals to him. Bathtubs, hot tubs, sex on the beach, he's down as long as you guys don't get caught, especially by the kids at Morning Glory.
Majima Goro
Lots of people see Majima as the king of kinks but it's just that he's open minded. Actually isn't into knife-play, as he sees it was a weapon for slicing up enemies, not for using on his romantic/sexual partner. Loves to praise you and be praised. Would let you peg him if you asked very nicely. Doesn't mind tying you up but isn't a fan of being tied up himself.
Saejima Taiga
He's got a thing for fucking you against walls while holding you up. It's some kind of showing off of strength thing for him. Into biting you and doesn't mind if you return the favor, although he prefers when you dig your nails into his back or into his arms during sex.
Akiyama Shun
Likes being blindfolded. Secretly into office sex but can't get away with it often enough to really bring it up much. Also would totally lick whipped cream off of you if you let him. A total sucker for any kind of lingerie or hosiery. Wasn't sure about hair pulling at first but the more he tries it, the more he likes it.
Tanimura Masayoshi
He's a little embarrassed at how obvious this is but he's into handcuffs. Prefers to put them on you as he's pretty used to doing that but will allow you to cuff him too. Wants to try out spreader bars at some point in his life. If he's super cooped up at work, he really enjoys phone sex.
Ryuji Goda
Really into edging, both giving and receiving. Has a lot of stamina so he can afford to edge or be edged for a long time as it would take a while for him to be done with sex anyways. Has a few items laying around, like silk blindfolds and leather whips, but has yet to try them out. He thinks the idea is hot though. Loves garter belts especially. Particularly interested in the art of shibari.
Nishikiyama Akira
Has the BIGGEST most giantest praise kink in the whole entire world. Loves kissing with tongue and totally goes nuts if you drool into his mouth. Total freak in the sheets, although he seldom shows this side in public. You can bite him but don't slap him, please. Hair pulling is fine though.
Daigo Dojima
So shy to admit it but he has a pregnancy/breeding kink. Daigo's always kind of knew he'd have a family eventually given how important family has always been to him but he's not ready for one yet, so in the meantime it's a great bedroom fantasy. Also loves car sex, will totally have sex with you in his private car. Very Beyonce's Partition of him.
Mine Yoshitaka
BDSM king, has quite an arsenal of toys and is very well educated on them. Biggest believer of making sure his partner has a good understanding of BDSM before ever trying it on them, as it's only fun for him if it's fun for you too. Loves making you beg. Will give you a pearl necklace if you're okay with it. Wants to try wax play someday.
Tatsuo Shinada
Honestly down with most anything but he does enjoy with spanked. Also has a pretty big praise kink. Desperately wants to try some form of outdoor sex, like on a rooftop. Most likely of all of the boys to take you to a love hotel. He finds the setting to be a turn on in of itself. Loves things like roleplay or costumes.
BONUS ROUND
Nishitani Homare
Actual knife-play kink. Also will choke the hell out of you. Type of guy to put his hand over your mouth to silence you. Wants you to get loud as hell. Overstimulation king. The most likely person to send you nudes, so don't open your phone in public when he texts you.
Tachibana Tetsu
Office sex. Any hour of the day. That's it, that's his favorite thing. Loves to tease you at the office too, probably the best at subtly teasing you in public in general. Into gagging, both giving and receiving. Fond of ball gags in particular.

"k-kazuma..Why are you covered in b-blood? And who's that person on the floor behind you....?
-ˋˏWHY ASK?. . . ->
Tumblr media
The loud and bright light of the night city of Kamurucho, some sirens of police can be heard in the distance while night clubs were booming music, or you can even hear the night women or men going out, but none of those stood out when you see your friend, the one you've always known-Kiryu Kazuma standing over the body that was illuminated by the city lights. Even if you try to come near and see the body, your legs won't cooperate.
Not dealing with the silence any longer, Kazuma walked closer to you. With each striding step, blood dripped from his bruised up and bloody knuckles. You try to back off but can't, it seems like you were frozen in place. You desperately try to make your body move, but each stride, Kiryu takes makes you sweat and shiver.
He stops at your side, looking straight ahead without any expression but deep inside his eyes is guilt, before he turns his head and faces you. "This is a part of my job, that wish you didn't have to see… yet…" Kazuma says in a monotone voice that you got used to throughout the years. From time to time it could be comforting but now it sounds so cold it makes you quiver.
You tried to step back but when you did, you were immediately embraced by his arms, trapping you against his chest like a samurai would hug his wife before going to war. There was no sign of anger or frustration, only the same coldness and guilt. His arms felt too warm against your waist. You didn't like the sensation of the blood now spread at your back. And his deep voice muttered in your ear, he's so close you can feel his breath on you. You were scared of what this man had done. You want him to go away. You don't wanna look at him anymore. You want to scream, yell, and curse, but you know he wouldn't care.
"But….may my hand be a token of my love for you. . ."
Little did you know, how serious Kiryu was when it came to your love and the promise to keep your love.

saw some amazing dgs commentary in the youtube comments on the soundtrack so i'm going to try and process and synthesize it with some of my own thoughts.
ryuunosuke and kazuma's relationships is one of the emotional cores of the duology. in the first trial kazuma represented the epitomy of a defense lawyer not only to ryuunosuke but also the audience. the belief that believing in one's client in the heart of a defense attorney is a philosophy ryuunosuke adopts from kazuma and carries on. through 1-2 ryuunosuke commits himself to filling kazuma's shoes and builts an identity around that, he wills himself to become the ideal defense attorney he saw kazuma as. which is why case 1-3 was so important as it shakes the core of ryuunosuke's new identity. its then in the second half of dgs1 that ryuunosuke brick by brick begins the first steps in building his own independent identity through interacting with the other characters like natsume, barok, and gina.
the sound design and music were excellent in portraying characters and story. His Great Return carries Ryuunosuke and susato's jubilant feelings at kazuma's return, like a dream come true. The Revived Prosecutor immediately carries kazuma's leitmotif from Samurai with a Mission but where Samurai with a Mission was steadfast, heroic, resolute, and triumphant, like there's no way one could lose, The Revived Prosectutor invokes a sense of dread, the closing of a snare. Kazuma unrelenting pursuit of revenge is terrifying, that determination that had been so admirable is shown to have a darker side. the instrument choices are reminiscent of the professor's theme, hart vortex, and barok van zieks character themes. firstly this represents a shift in locale with more european instruments as the story now takes place in london. the different instrument use secondly conveys to the player how alien this side of kazuma is to ryuunosuke, he's never seen kazuma act like this and doesn't know what to make of it. thirdly it highlights how barok and kazuma are character foils. both attack dogs leashed by mael stronghart's and directed towards his enemies.
in kazuma's pursuit of revenge he has cast truth to the wayside. you see this in how his arguments changes, all that matters to him is pinning murder onto barok, he has his conclusion already decided and is just shuffling the evidence so it always leads back to that conclusion. this of course is to set up the narrative foil to ryuunosuke who like kazuma in 2-4 and 2-5 is turning the trial around and recontextualizing evidence to present a new scenario and context. Its one of the most fascinating and impactful moments in the series when the player realizes that kazuma is using a defense lawyer's, a gyakuten saiban protagonist's, the player's very own courtroom tactics against them. However like barok, ryuunosuke has decided the courtroom is the place to pursue truth no matter the outcome. kazuma has always been about faith, belief, and determination. in 1-1 we see the positive side to it (believe in the me who believes in you) as his faith is pretty much the only thing propping ryuunosuke up during the trial. It is reassuring to have someone believe in you that much, a wall to lean back on and its only with that support that ryuunosuke is able to get his feet back under him and win the trial. in 2-4 and 2-5 we see the negative side to his resolve, he is blind to all but what he has set himself to do. Past the point of logic and reason he relentlessly continues to try and find some way to convict barok. and narratively who better to bring him back from that then ryuunosuke who has grown so much and wants to help his friend.
we see clearly from ryuunosuke's perspective how he has put kazuma onto a pedestal but the opposite is also true. its less easy to see since kazuma isn't our pov character, but he thought the world of ryuunosuke. There's this bittersweetness present from the beginning in seeing ryunosuke as someone better than him, someone who could be what he could not. in the final case Kazuma entrusted the other half of the court to ryuunosuke.

☆Compilation of dreams i had from yyh dr during this time☆
Tumblr media
Good morning, afternoon or evening! I'm back after so long! Oh God, I have a lot to tell about these dreams I had about my YYH dr. I haven't traveled to my desired reality of YYH yet, but my goodness, they were quite real and so clear, as if I had already traveled there.
WELL , I'LL EXPLAIN FIRST HE HE LOADING ° ° ° ⋆。˚. ੈ⋆。˚. ੈ⋆。˚. ੈ
DREAM 1 "Yusuke's concern and anger with the older Toguro":
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first dream could be called "Yusuke's concern and anger with the older Toguro." Why do I call it that way? There is context.
The dream begins in the Dark Tournament saga, already in the final against the Toguro team. The Urameshi team is in the third round which is against the older Toguro, Kazuma enters the ring and the atmosphere felt tense because Genkai had been killed by the younger Toguro, we all knew it except Kuwabara.
Well until then it was the same as the manga and anime, but then something changes.
Toguro the eldest begins to make fun of Genkai, using his power to copy the figure of Genkai in his hand (as in the manga/anime), Kazuma finds out about Genkai's death and I insult Toguro the eldest by telling him some truths that They made him angry, like: "You're a shitty coward who the only thing he knows how to do is talk and treacherously attack like a viper." At that moment, Toguro the eldest attacked me using one of his fingers as a dagger and hurt my left shoulder trying to silence me. The boys were surprised by that sudden attack and I heard Yusuke shout "Reiko no!" with a worried voice.
I could hear Yusuke's voice loud and clear in the Latin dub at that moment OMG!
Yusuke was the first to jump towards me because the older Toguro's surprise blow when he crossed my left shoulder caused me to fly backwards out of inertia, and Yusuke caught me and I could see his worried and frustrated face.
He told me "Reiko, don't die, please don't leave me!" The scene between the two was like in the Kunfu Panda movie when Shifu relaxes at the end of the first movie on the ground and Po thinks he died, well it was technically that, because I told him "I'm not dying you moron! The blow hit me on my shoulder Yusuke, don't worry." The rest looked at me worried as they approached me, except Kazuma since he couldn't get out of the ring because otherwise he would be disqualified, but he was still worried about me.
The entire Urameshi team looked angrily at Toguro the eldest, mainly Yusuke, it was evident in his voice and in his face that he cared so much about me that he held me carefully and protectively. 💖🥰
Then I was starting to wake up and saw that Kazuma turned around and angrily went back to fight against the older Toguro because he hurt my left shoulder. I saw my blood running in my left shoulder and it hurt very little, Hiei and Kurama were close to me, although Yusuke held me carefully and protectively.
That's as far as sleep goes, and that happened two months ago one afternoon when I was studying and I accidentally fell asleep!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ° ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DREAM 2 "Fighting and using the Reigan (Spirit gun) perfectly!":
Tumblr media Tumblr media
okay! This dream was three weeks ago, and it was shorter T~T, I will still give context!
The dream begins that I am fighting and in a moment I fly away and roll on the ground. Then I returned to the battlefield and jumped against the enemy that looked like a demon and used the reigan (spirit gun) with all my potential and defeated the demon. Apparently he was on a mission as a spiritual detective, I think it was when Yusuke was trying to recover the artifacts of darkness and the place was blurry but it looked a lot like the forest where Yusuke first fought against Gouki.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ° ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DREAM 3 "Vacations in the mysterious beach" :
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally, this dream that I had I think a week and a half ago, it all begins with me traveling to a beach in the style of the ending of yyh in the anime. Although I was traveling alone, because I felt like I had to meet someone, so I look at my cell phone and I get a message from Keiko that I should go to the beach. Then I took the bus to get to the place so I had to walk a little, and as I looked out the window I saw an orange butterfly that flew and turned blue. At that moment I realized that I was dreaming, because the blue butterfly inside the shifthing is a good sign that you are close to traveling to your desired reality! And then I got off the bus and went to the beach coast since I had to meet Keiko.
There the dream ends, and I remembered the dream very well.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that was all! *i sigh* I feel more and more motivated to want to reach my desired reality of YYH, it was the only one in which I had several dreams, I mean with these there are 6 dreams in total and there are several, in the last Dream I couldn't see Keiko but I knew I was going to see her.
♡Well have a good day, afternoon or night♡

Anime Update V3 3
Vinland Saga S2 - Arnheid went to see her husband in captivity. Wrong move. Gardar used her presence there to lure one of the guards to them and then bite out the guy's throat. No shitting, this was probably the most graphic thing I've seen depicted on this show! He convinces Arnheid to cut the ropes binding him so he can kill all the other guards and make his escape. Back at the farm, a talk between Thorfinn and Einar further establishes Thorfinn's desire to never kill or resort to violence in any conflict ever again, and to find some way of sufficiently and significantly atoning for every life he took, like creating a place where "no one needs a sword." Einar sas that such a place must be beyond man's reach, prompting Thorfinn to finally remember it: Vinland. He needs to go find Vinland!
Hunter x Hunter - After Killua ends up not only sparing Ikalgo but saving him, telling him he's cool and that they might've been friends under better conditions, he goes ahead and becomes the target of two aquatic Chimera Ant siblings (with one of them voiced by LittleKuriboh) as they throw fish darts at a special board that project the darts to skewer different parts of Killua's body, and it really seemed like Killua was a goner for a while, even after he turned the tables and decapitated the twins (which they're still alive after, don't worry!), he's at risk of dying until, wouldn't you know it, Ikalgo comes along to save his life! Some good deeds do get rewarded! The other episode I watched focused largely on Gon's sketchy alliance with Meleoron, who claims he wants to kill Meruem for having killed his father figure, and we see Meruem's off playing games with humanity. And I mean literally, he is challenging humans to different human games after learning the rules in record time, beating them, and killing them. And now he's to play Gungi...against a blind girl??? And the current ED credits suggests this goes somewhere pretty big.
SHUFFLE! - Summer is apparently fast approaching in this anime's world, which seems so foreign to me when we're currently in the midst of a cold winter season. The students all study for their final exams and undertake them, with Sia getting some help from Rin. There's also talk of rainy days and memories of when Sia met Rin.
Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works - The grand finale looms ahead, so you know what that means - the Rin/Shirou sex episode!
KonoSuba - This episode just kept changing gears on me, setting itself up to be about Darkness wanting to join Kazuma's party but Kazuma being resistant to her because he can see how masochistic she is and doesn't want another weird girl to put up with, then it centers on Kazuma learning the "Steal" ability from this white haired Yuffie Kisaragi-esque thief girl (and Kazuma can compulsively only swipe panties off from girls because of course he would), and then out of fucking nowhere, flying cabbages start migrating towards the civilization and all warriors are called to fight them so that they can be eaten, complete with casual and silly exposition on this little harvest season from Aqua, and Darkness shielding other knights from the cabbages' blows because she loves getting hit repeatedly. So Kazuma ends up accepting Darkness for a harvest job well done.
Symphogear XV - Episode 2 again does this thing where we're at one point in time but then flash back to what happened to lead up to it, only this time the past timeframe was last episode's present, where at least we're treated to some peak Kirika/Shirabe goodness, and they even manage to get the better of one of their new adversaries. S.O.N.G has taken in the mysterious Annunaki mummy they found in Antarctica, and Fudou is very displeased with his son and his workers as of late. Then Tsubasa and Maria do a joint concert that, as I'd expected, gets attacked by another new enemy and geezus, this psychotic freak actually managed to put Carol to shame in the heinous department, creating several casualties and even butchering an innocent child right in front of Tsubasa. She escapes justice for this and Tsubasa feels like a failure, as though she just lost Kanade all over again. Times are certainly getting bleak!
Eureka Seven - While Holland continues to grapple with his self loathing and how horribly abusive and irresponsible he'd been with Renton, the moment of dread comes when Renton opening up to his new dad Charles and outing himself as Adroc Thurston's child gets Charles to start prying more about the Nirvash and how things were like with Gekko State, and luring Renton right into a military sky assault where he comes clean about him and Ray being mercenaries for the Federation out to destroy Gekko State, and Renton's absolute devastation is itself devastating to watch. He seemed so close to a healthy home environment and a real family he could live peacefully with only to have the illusion broken, which conveys to him that no matter where he goes, warfare and his prior involvement in it will always follow him. Hence the episode's title being "Paradise Lost." Ray and Charles, to their credit, still love Renton like their own child and give him the choice whether or not to leave them. And he does.
Gintama - None this week.

Battle Scars
This was an idea of mine I thought of when I saw “scars” as the theme for Day 5. I hope you enjoy it! @asobaroweek
Barok stared at himself in the mirror, unsure of how much time had passed. He and Kazuma had been courting for a few months but decided to keep their relationship private until they were certain about their future. Despite their strong connection, they still faced obstacles and challenges ahead.
It seemed that today held yet another challenge for Barok. Kazuma had proposed that they bathe together, and while normally the idea would light a fire within him, Barok couldn't shake the unease that puckered in his stomach. The reason? His scarred skin, traced up his arms like tangled vines and created knots of rough flesh around his waist, and Barok couldn't help but feel like he resembled Frankenstein's monster. The thought of being exposed to Kazuma, the most stunning man he had ever seen, with such a blemished body sent waves of insecurity and fear rippling through him.
Kazuma may have had his share of scars, but each with its story of glory and victory earned from sword fights and competitions. Barok imagined him boasting of a battle-won scar on his arm. Even as some of his own had impressive stories, most of Barok's scars weren't the result of targeted attacks or battles against strong foes.
Barok mustered the strength not to let his mind slip back to those haunting memories once more. With the true Reaper finally caught, today was a day he wanted to bask in the warmth of Kazuma's company. Yet, the scars that marred his skin still made him hesitant and uneasy about how Kazuma would react. He needed to come up with a strategy to keep the scars hidden or avoid the topic altogether, but he knew that Kazuma would be curious. Maybe he could conceal them underwater while keeping his head above the water line. A deep sigh escaped him, wondering if this was the right choice.
Kazuma called out from afar, "My lord, are you alright!? You're taking an awfully long time to undress!"
Barok replied hesitantly, "Yes! Forgive my discourtesy for making you wait! I'm almost finished!" He stared at his scars with regret.
"This is quite exciting! Not as great as the hot springs in my homeland, but this tub is big enough for the two of us!" Kazuma beamed with excitement from across the hall.
Barok sighed in resignation. Despite feeling self-conscious, he had agreed to this at Kazuma's behest, giving in to his desire to please his lover. He hoped Kazuma would perceive his scars as battle scars rather than flaws. He was prepared to use his vast repertoire of battle stories to cover up any scars that needed explaining.
Barok wrapped a towel around his lower half and strode into the bathroom, eager to get the ordeal over with. Kazuma was waiting on the other side of the tub in a similar state of undress. The gas had already been turned off.
"Learning how to work this is quite frustraiting. Is there an instruction manual for this thing?" Kazuma asked with his pet peeve complaint.
"Turn on the gas until the water is at a preferable temperature, then turn it off. Only a fool would get inside the tub while the gas is on. It can have... painful consequences," Barok instructed, observing his student comprehend using the gas under the bathtub.
"Newspaper stories of those having been boiled or burned to death in one of these things will say otherwise."
"Obviously, fools exist. The same fools that allow their toilets to explode because they neglect to clean the pipes."
"I suppose I can't argue that. Even touching the bottom of the tub when I started the gas, I could feel the warmth to the touch. No doubt anyone taking a soak while the gas is running, even without the boiling water, would leave the contact of the tub much to be desired."
Barok's tune continued as he observed Kazuma with an appreciative eye. With a careful motion, Kazuma disrobed his towel, baring his toned legs and muscular waistline before slipping into the inviting tub. As he turned away, Barok caught a glimpse of a battle scar located prominently on the back of Kazuma's neck - no doubt from the attack on SS Burya. Memories of his own scars surged forth — the ones on his arms, legs, and torso. The scar on Kazuma's arm was undoubtedly from an ambush attack that Barok remembered all too well. Further inspection exposed baffling scratches on Kazuma's legs, evidence of perhaps another successful victory against a beastly opponent.
Kazuma twisted, noticing Barok’s eyes, then descended himself into the tub, pouting, “Aren't you coming in or are you going to stand there like a lemon?”
“Impatience seems to be your friend,” Barok bit back as Kazuma huffed. Barok gracefully stepped into the tub, dropping his towel with a flick of his wrist, and settling on the opposite end of the tub.
Basking in the warmth of the water, Barok deduced that Kazuma had done an impressive job of heating it to the perfect temperature. Sensing Kazuma's presence, Barok felt his legs intertwine with his own, and soon enough, he felt the restorative touch of Kazuma's skilled hands massaging his calves and feet. The sensation was both tender and relaxing, and Barok couldn't help but lean back into the water, contentedly taking in the soothing sensation.
“Feels nice, doesn't it?” Kazuma asked, smiling admiringly.
“Y-Yes... it... does,” Barok stuttered, not being able to keep his composure with Kazuma massages. They felt so nice, so lulling.
“Back at home, we often have public hot springs where a group of men or women would soak and bathe together. It was how we strengthened our relationships. Obviously, the hot springs are much larger than this.”
“I-Is that so? Am I to assume you have seen another man like this?” Barok asked, trying to look angry, but the soothing massages were maintaining his relaxation.
“Would you be jealous if I have?”
Barok let out a resigned sigh, realizing that it was pointless to focus on anything else when he was this close to Kazuma's heavenly massages. Kazuma did finally answer, “I've never been this close with them, and the warm waters are murky enough from the salt and steam to not see anything more than some skin here and there.”
As Barok opened his eyes, he was met with the affectionate gaze of his lover, who proceeded to crawl tantalizingly over his body. Barok couldn't shake off a nagging sense of self-doubt due to his scars, but Kazuma had not said a word about them since he arrived. Now, the warmth of Kazuma's eyes, the gentle touch of his lips, and the allure of his entire being had Barok irresistibly spellbound.
“I've also never cuddled with another man in those hot springs either,” Kazuma whispered into Barok's lips before kissing them.
Barok was utterly lost in the moment, with one hand tenderly cradling Kazuma's waist while the other caressed his silky hair. Despite its unevenness, Kazuma's hair was incredibly soft and smooth, and his skin appeared flawless and supple to Barok. The beauty marks on his skin only added to Kazuma's allure, serving as a testament to his unbridled beauty.
As Barok and Kazuma continued to kiss, Barok's hand trailed down to Kazuma's waist and eventually his thighs, where he could feel some of his scars. The moment was interrupted as Kazuma yelped when Barok touched the scars.
“Is something the matter?” Barok asked, seemingly stunned.
“Sorry, but it tickles there,” Kazuma explained, removing Barok's hand from the scratch marks.
“F-Forgive my discourtesy,” Barok replied. It made sense that scars can cause a lack of sensation, intensifying touch in other areas. With this in mind, Barok opted to use that hand to tenderly caress Kazuma's face. He couldn't help but admire this remarkable man that he held so lovingly.
Kazuma hummed softly as he kissed his way down Barok's arm, stopping just short of his scars and lingering there. He asked, “W-would you mind if I...” his eyes darted at the scars.
“I-It's fine,” Barok swallowed as Kazuma smiled, then kissed down his arm where the scars lay littered on his arms before hugging Barok. “You're so beautiful.”
“Your words... are appreciated. However, I must disagree as you are the beautiful one.”
Kazuma hummed, “Then we're both beautiful.” He looked up at Barok with those adoring eyes.
“I meant it. I've never seen anything or any work of art so beautiful,” Barok said admiringly as he kissed Kazuma’s nose.
“Even despite my scratches?” Kazuma asked with a sad smile.
“I'm sure whatever story you have behind it is just as beautiful,” Barok said admiringly. Kazuma shook his head before Barok raised his eyebrows.
“I can't lie. Those scratches were from me actually.”
“Y-You?” Barok asked in wonder.
“After I received that letter about my father being the professor with newspaper clippings of the killings, I couldn't control myself, and I...” Kazuma's eyes revealed a sense of frustration and resentment as he reluctantly confessed.
Barok found himself standing once again at the dreaded trial where he was pitted against the intimidating presence of Genshin Asogi and the overwhelming evidence stacked up against him. He could feel the bubbling rage and anguish surging within him, his fingers clenching his face as he winced in agony. The searing pain between his brows became unbearable, and he felt a trickle down the bridge of his nose. He removed his hand, unable to suppress a gasp as the sticky red fluid stained his fingers, while his nails turned an ominous black-red. Memories flooded his mind- shards of wine glasses piercing his flesh, maiming his body. It was like a waterfall of misery cascading down upon him.
Barok recalled the times when he had thrown bottle after bottle against the wall, cut his arms, dropped to his knees, angrily pushed a shelf of wine down, and kicked and punched the shelf itself until he was covered in cuts, bruises, some on his legs, torso, and arms. His maids had to send him to the hospital that day. All of those moments were caused by anger, pain, and resentment from losing his brother and thinking that someone he admired betrayed him.
Barok's mind raced as he revisited the painful memories he had tried to suppress for so long. Vividly, he pictured the exact moment when the devastating news reached a teenage Kazuma through a letter from a victim's family member. He imagined the scene like it was happening in front of him- Kazuma crumbling the page in his trembling hands, tears streaming down his face. The grief and fury inside him threatening to consume him, causing him to cling to his thighs, trying to restrain himself from punching through the wall. The anguish of losing his father and the bitterness that someone could tear him away, clawing at Kazuma's flesh until his fingers were smothered in a crimson hue and his nails were almost black.
Barok clutched onto Kazuma, overcome with grief as he wept uncontrollably. Regret flooded his thoughts as he realized the depth of the pain from his wrongful execution of the one Kazuma cherished most. Why hadn't he fought harder to prove the innocence of his beloved's father? The thought of sparing Kazuma of this experience and escaping his own agony weighed heavily on his mind. In an attempt to console Barok, Kazuma gently kissed his cheek and tenderly wiped away the tears from his face.
“My apologies. I didn't mean to bring up painful memories,” Kazuma said in a gentle, low voice.
Barok shook his head, speaking, “I Prosecuted your father for many crimes he didn't commit. Had it just been my brother, who was found as the Professor, your father could've been spared, and it would've saved both of us so much pain. We'd have scars of great battle instead of pain.”
“Oh Barok,” Kazuma let out a sigh and tenderly pressed a kiss on Barok's cheek before flashing a gentle smile to comfort him. He then wiped away the warm tears cascading down Barok's face. "The scars we bear are evidence of the personal battles we have fought, whether they be from inner demons or external forces. As long as we come out of these struggles stronger and wiser, our scars become badges of honor. My own scars - on my legs, on my neck, and on my arm - remind me of the lessons I have learned, such as to take action and stand up for what I believe in, to remember my own vulnerability, and to never allow bitterness to consume me. It was in the moment when I defended my lord and gained my final scar that I knew I loved you."
Barok was deeply moved by Kazuma's acknowledgment of his self-inflicted scars as true battle scars. A warm smile crossed his face as he embraced Kazuma with tenderness, feeling the warmth of his lover's lips against his own. The scars that adorned their bodies were a testament to the struggles they had faced - be it against foes or against themselves - and the shared experience of their bath together had brought them closer than ever before. Barok knew that he could never go back to his previous way of living; he had found something irreplaceable in Kazuma's love.

30 DAYS WRITING CHALLENGE.
Day 17:Write about a car ride.
From@creativepromptsforwriting.
Title:Fun Drive.
Ezekiel sat in the driver's seat, and Marie sat in the front with him. They stopped by Kazuma and Meriu's house. Meiru got in the middle while Kazuma got in the back. They then went to Geo and Shade's house.
"Hey guys."
"Hey, get in."
"Where are we going?"
"It doesn't matter. We're just going to have fun."
They got into the car. Shade got in the middle, and Geo got into the back with Kazuma. They drove around the city for a bit. As they were driving around, Kazuma put his arm around Geo, and he flinched.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, you just startled me."
"Sorry, I didn't mean too."
"You're fine."
They stopped at a store and bought themselves some snacks and drinks and then got back in the car. Shade kept glancing back and forth at Geo and Kazuma.
"What are you doing?"
Meiru looked at him confused.
"They're totally gonna do it at some point."
"Do what at some point?"
"Shh, they might hear you."
Shade whispered it into Meiru's ear.
"*gasp* Really, you think so?"
"Yeah, last night, I heard them talking in his bedroom, and then they went somewhere."
"And when they came back, I peeked through the door, and I saw Kaz kissing Geo on the cheek."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I'm trying to see if they'll do it again."
Geo against Kazuma's shoulder and Kazuma looked at him.
"You tired?"
"No, I just I want to lean my head down somewhere."
"Sure you do."
"Hey, um, thanks again for showing me that last night."
"Your welcome."
"I still can't believe that you kissed me."
"You want me to do it again?"
Geo glanced at Shade, who looked at him and quickly turned around.
"Sure."
Kazuma kissed Geo on his lips and began rubbing his back. They pulled back after a few minutes. Geo was blushing a little bit, and Kazuma smirked at him.
"You really like doing that, don't you?"
"Yes, your reaction is priceless."
"Of course you think that."
Ezekiel glanced back and gave Kazuma a smirk. Kazuma looked at him, annoyed.
"So they made you sit back here on purpose, hmm?"
"Yes."
"I figured, my brother won't stop looking back at us."
Kazuma smiled at Geo.
"You wanna do it again?"
"Just to let them sink it in."
"You know what?"
Geo pushed Kazuma down onto the seat.
"Sure, let's do it."
They kissed again, and Geo dugged his elbow into Kazuma's stomach. The two of them did this for a while before finally stopping. Geo got off of Kazuma, and Kazuma was breathing heavily.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, your elbow was pushing into my stomach."
"Sorry about that."
"It's alright."
Geo leaned against Kazuma and nearly fell asleep. Kazuma rubbed his shoulder for a bit.
They finally finished their drive around the city. Kazuma had to wake Geo up since he fell asleep, and they had arrived at his home. He got up and went inside. Shade followed him inside.
"So, on a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you like him?"
"Huh?!"
"How much do you like Kazuma?"
"Uh well, I guess a um... 10?"
"I knew it."
"Knew what?"
Marie switched places with Kazuma and sat next to Meiru.
"So, you do like each other."
"What?!"
"Don't lie to me, I saw what you two were doing back there."
"S-shut up!"
Kazuma stammered and looked out the window. Ezekiel chuckled slightly. They dropped Kazuma and Meiru off before heading home.

it starts as a dull ache creeping its way up his neck. Easy enough to ignore, but familiar to him now as a sign of something worse to come. asougi has never been one to balk at a warning sign, though, and he adjusts, cracks his neck to attempt to relieve the tension there, before refocusing. work and study take priority. he'll sit up a little straighter to prove to himself he is focused and just as disciplined as he's always been. no distractions, no weakness.
he's able to read and scribble case notes for another hour or so before he's shifting again, uncomfortable. the ache has turned into something sharper, the pain claiming space around his head like the ribbon of the hachimaki he used to wear. worse, it's settled behind his eyes, insistent and stabbing. kazuma knows what this means, and as much discomfort as his headaches bring him, they also make him frustrated. he knows how this goes all too well, that if he can’t get a handle on it, he risks losing an afternoon or even an entire day to a pain so intense. the only remedy he’s found that works is sleep, but he doesn’t want to - he wants to keep working.
kazuma tries it all, every skill he's developed over the months to relieve the pain. he breathes in sharp and irregular, then slow and methodical, stands and stretches arms and spine and neck. he rolls his head back, waits for the pop, then does it again for good measure. when none of that works, when the pain lingers, worsens even, relentless and demanding to be felt, kazuma jams fingers into his temples. presses hard and lets a different, satisfying pain take over. he does the same into his jaw. it hurts in a purposeful way that combats the mounting pressure in his head, even if only momentarily. and it is just for a moment.
kazuma places a hand over his forehead, little comfort as the action gives him. and though he knows he isn’t sick, his head burns with the pain within. it’s bad - this one is bad - and it’s when the accompanying nausea hits ( of course it can’t just be his head. of course he has to feel so awful that his stomach turns, threatens to make hims retch ) that he relents. with a huff he finally rises from his desk, moves shakily towards the bed. he thinks a cool cloth on his forehead may help, but he's already let the pain get so severe, he can't make himself move anywhere except towards sleep. frantic, sloppy removing of his coat, his boots, and he throws himself into bed, in the cool dark of drawn blinds against the mid-day sun. there is some relief that closing his eyes bring, but the rest will only come with sleep.
he'll repeat these motions every week, for nearly a year, after his return from the dead. a reminder of his injury, a testament that recovery is slow.

Truffle Kerfuffle
Summary:
""Of course, that didn’t last long. Michi turned her attention in the direction Sara was looking at, and —in an almost cinematographic coincidence— Kazuma turned around right in that moment as well. Both their faces lit up, and, in a matter of seconds, Kazuma’s long strides had crossed the cafe to meet them at their table by the large window pane."
In which Kazuma unwittingly crashes a date.
AO3 link in reblog
Lopmon settled the foamy moka cup in front of Michi.
"Thank you!" Michi beamed and immediately started downing it.
Lopmon nodded solemnly, completely ignoring the intensely amusing streaks of foam sitting atop Michi’s upper lips. "A pleasure to serve you."
Since Plotmon wanted to try strudel, they settled on it for the four of them. Despite Bakumon's natural shyness, curiosity had it at the edge of its seat, staring intensely as Lopmon served each of them their portion with impressive adroitness, for using its long lop ears to do so. It had a rather impeccable precision.
“Please enjoy!” Lopmon bowed and excused itself, gliding back to the counter.
The reason Michi favored Truffle was evident— allowing tamers to bring along their partner digimon was hugely convenient. It was also far too noisy for Sara’s tastes, but such was the nature of cafes. In general, Michi seemed to really enjoy loud places. Speaking of boisterous, a particularly rowdy boy accompanied by a bearmon entered the cafe at that moment. Sara recognized him as one of the tamers who was friends with Michi. Kazuma was his name, if she recalled correctly. Given the location of Truffle, that it had a lot of teenaged patrons wasn’t rare. But even among all of them, Kazuma stood out due to his rather rakish build and loud voice. At least he was entertained making chat to the owner at the counter.
Of course, that didn’t last long. Michi turned her attention in the direction Sara was looking at, and —in an almost cinematographic coincidence— Kazuma turned around right in that moment as well. Both their faces lit up, and in a matter of seconds, Kazuma’s long strides had crossed the cafe to meet them at their table by the large window pane.
“Kazuma, long time no see!” Michi slided to make space for Kazuma on her side of the boot.
Kazuma took the offer without missing a beat, carrying Bearmon in his arms to sit it on his lap. And just like that, Sara’s outing with Michi also included Kazuma. Bakumon drew closer to her side, and she wouldn’t deny it brought her comfort before the prospect of having to deal with someone who was essentially a stranger.
“I’ll say! You barely drop by Truffle anymore!”
Michi chuckled, abashedly. "I have been a little busy…”
“Well, I’m just glad I got to see you today,” Kazuma beamed and then turned his attention to Sara, greeting her with a slight bow. “Hello! I think this is the first time we get to hang out! I’m Natsuyagi Kazuma and this is my partner, Bearmon!” His partner waved at her as if on cue. “I have been wanting to get to know you!
"Yes! We have heard so much about you!"
Wanting to get to know her? It was true they ultimately had fought together to settle the spiral matter, but… It struck Sara as an odd thing to say to someone you had faced off against as an enemy many times, especially when Sara had been rather merciless to them. Then again, there she was, sitting with Michi. Perhaps most of Michi’s tamer friends were like that. The little Herissmon and their partner had also expressed a similar sentiment.
Sara reciprocated the bow. “I am Shinkai Sara. My first name uses the character for sal tree and my last name the characters for new and sea. This is Bakumon, my partner.”
“Pleased to meet you.” Bakumon folded its legs together.
"Pleasure is all mine!“
It was probably strange to be introducing each other this late, but it gave Sara a sense of relief upon clearing a socializing step correctly.
"So, how is exam prep going?"
Michi grimaced. "Let's not talk about that."
Naturally, Plotmon, who had milky streaks all around its mouth to match Michi's, had to give him the details: "Michi has been getting distracted as usual. Just the other day, we dealt with a digiegg that appeared at the library instead of her studies."
"Ah, man! That brings back memories!" Kazuma laughed and petted Bearmon's head, who was busying itself with part of Michi's strudel.
"I'm not worried, though," Plotmon added, turning to see Sara. "Because Sara has been helping Michi; as long as she's with her, I can be at ease."
"Aw, she does look super reliable," Kazuma looked at her with a strange look, like he had witnessed something incredibly moving.
Michi chuckled awkwardly. If Sara were inclined to laugh when nervous, she'd do the same now that all eyes were on her. She wracked her brain for a reply.
"I-it's not a problem…"
Bizarrely, Kazuma's ear-to-ear grin seemed to grow larger. "You two are spending a lot of time together, aren't you?"
"Kazuma…"
"Well, I am tutoring her. Of course we see each other often."
And Michi had been grounded, which probably played a bigger factor to her not paying a visit to her friends than their study sessions.
"I'm so happy!" Kazuma raised his balled fists close to his face, clearly pumped up; over what? Sara couldn't tell. Her tutoring Michi hardly warranted so much fanfare. "Michi worked super hard to get to you before, seeing that things worked out between you two makes me super happy!"
Michi buried her face in her hands and groaned.
"It's true, it's all she could think about," Plotmon giggled.
"Not you too…"
Sara covered her mouth, feeling her cheeks starting to warm up. It's not like she didn't already know Michi had chased her relentlessly, but having pointed it out like this was a little embarrassing.
"You helped us a bunch when Grandracmon took Michi, too! I have been wanting to talk to you since then!"
Sara recalled that he had waved at her back then, after she had created the digital point at the park. At the time, she hadn't known what to make of it. So, this is what it had been about? Kazuma was, shockingly, even more candid than Michi. In general, all her friends seemed to be that way— openthearted and warm. Sara seemed to be the odd one out. That other boy, Keito, had been able to be frank to Eiji in a way she had only begun to graze.
"I-it was no trouble at all…" Sara repeated herself, feeling beyond awkward.
"Anyway! Enough of that!" Michi patted Kazuma's shoulder, "How is practice going?"
He shot her a thumbs up: "Coach Akira praised my footwork the other day!"
"Do you play any sports?" Bearmon asked, snout sprinkled with pastry crumbs.
"No, I don't. They have never been my forte."
It was a phrasing that usually kept people from prying, although she wasn't too sure it'd work as effectively in this instance. She pressed her thumb to her cheek. It was always like this— Sara always had to put in a lot of work to answer seemingly innocuous questions in order to predict whether her replies will fall into a range that will still read normal and agreeable to her interlocutors. Having to dodge the invisible obstacle course of unwanted pity and condescension. This is why she hated talking to people.
"Kazuma is super good! He can score field goals no problem!"
Sara nodded, feigning understanding of the terminology. She wasn't sure what sport Kazuma played, but, at this point, it felt too awkward to ask.
"Well, I still need to polish my throws," Kazuma scratched the back of his head. "But I appreciate the faith, Bearmon!" He ruffled his partner's hat, and then, like a switch flipped, his expression got downright dreamy. "I hope someday I can be half as good as Takumi!"
Wait. That Takumi? The same Hiiragi Takumi she briefly cooperated with?
"You're always going over how great Takumi is, it's making me curious whether he really is that good of a player," Michi frowned.
"Of course he is! How could you doubt that?!"
Michi held up her hands. "I mean, I have never seen him play but…" she started muttering almost unintelligibly, "...cold and he just took so long to work together with us. Hard to picture him in a team."
"Takumi was our ace, that's true," Kazuma's chest swelled, "It's true he would get ahead during matches and be strict as a captain, but that's because he knew the game better than anyone! When it was better to apply this or that strategy. I still have a lot to learn from him! And I mean! Him and Sara had amazing teamwork, that proves it!"
"He was reliable," Sara conceded.
And very gruff. Although, Sara wouldn't deny she had liked it best to keep their talks strictly about business. Besides, it couldn't be helped given the circumstances of how Takumi's collaboration with Eiji came to be.
"I knew it! If there's one word that describes senpai, it's reliable!"
“Eh, I guess."
Sara had to choke back a snort. Kazuma’s adoration for Takumi was somewhat endearing, though. It reminded her of a certain someone…
"Dorumon was nice," Bakumon mumbled.
Sara scratched behind Bakumon's ears, who sighed contentedly. Perhaps it had been selfish to keep Bakumon all to herself. Maybe they both had longed to meet others. She hoped Bakumon and Plotmon could continue to get along and, maybe, even learn to rely on each other. Michi always liked saying that the more, the merrier. Sara had serious reservations about the phrase, but perchance she and Bakumon could use more company, more allies, more… love.
When Sara tuned back into the convo, she caught Michi and Kazuma talking about pastries and a girl named Mayu. A little blink, and the conversation had gotten out of her hands. Sara wasn't even sure she knew who Mayu was. She covered her mouth with her fingers, biting her index slightly. She had always known keeping pace with others was harder for herself in a myriad of ways, but it truly could get disorienting.
Right in that moment, Lopmon glided into their table, clearing its throat: “Pardon the interruption, but, Kazuma, Chihiro says you should pick up your order before it goes cold.”
Kazuma shot to his feet. That Bearmon knew to jump ship before it got sent flying was a testament to their partnership.
“Ah, crap! I forgot! Sorry!” He turned to both her and Michi, bowing apologetically. “I’m actually on an errand for the club, I’ll see you later, okay?”
And then he ran off. Michi bursted out laughing.
"I don't know why you're laughing, you do the same thing all the time," Plotmon shook its head.
Lopmon sighed.
“Is everything to your liking?”
“Yeah!” Michi said in between bursts of laughter. “Can we get the bill, please?”
“Right away.”
And off Lopmon went as well.
“Sorry about that,” Michi joined her palms together. “I just hadn’t seen Kazuma in a while.”
Sara shook her head. “It wasn’t a big deal.”
“Really? You seemed uncomfortable.”
Tch. Of course, Michi had noticed. Somehow that turned the experience into something actually irksome.
“Michi—”
“Sara,” Michi looked at her with a look that rivaled her Plotmon’s wounded puppy look.
“I don’t mind meeting your friends…” Sara exhaled more deeply than she thought she would, “But knowing in advance would be good, yeah. Not to mention we were in the middle of…”
Michi blushed. “Let me make it up to you!”
Sara sighed, endeared. Michi was about to drag her who knows where, no doubt. “Fine.”
It really was fine. It was part of what made being with her exciting.

((scale-tippers; from Ryunosuke to Kazuma)) "I thought you were dead once, and it almost destroyed me. I could not bear it if you died again, not when I could save you."
Tumblr media
"I am not going to die, Ryunosuke. I can promise you that." Kazuma replied, his expression serious. In direct contradiction to his words, his hands were both pressed to his side, trying to stop the blood from gushing out of a gash in his side. Red engulfed the pure white of his prosecutor's outfit.
There were drawbacks to being the apprentice of Lord Van Zieks. Many still knew him as the Reaper of the Baily, he was wanted dead by all sorts of criminals as revenge for those he rightfully sent to jail.
This encounter had been one of the later. Much like the article of the two of them that had been put in the newspaper months ago, back when he didn't have his memory.
Two criminals had ambushed them on their way back to the prosecutor's office. Kazuma had been planning to spend a few more hours pouring over case notes before calling it a night.
He didn't think Van Zieks even noticed when he got cut with a dagger. Kazuma had always been good at hiding his emotions, and besides, the man had been focused on their attackers. He'd gone so far as to pursue them through the streets, completely forgetting about Kazuma. It was a good thing he had Karuma on him or things would have turned out worse.
It's a good thing someone else's attention had been attracted by the commotion. Not just any someone. His best friend and rival in the courthouse, Ryunosuke.
"We need to stop the..." Kazuma hissed out a sharp exhale, a spike of pain running through him, "...to stop the bleeding. When I can walk without the wound reopening, then I can get myself to St. Barts for treatment. I don't think you can carry me."
He let out a small cry, pressing his hands against the wound tighter.
"Do... Do you have anything to wrap the wound?"
As soon as the words left his lips, he realized that he had just the thing. He lifted one hand from his wound and wrapped it around Karuma, holding it out to Ryunosuke.
The important part wasn't the blade, but what was wrapped around it, and had been ever since his death had been faked. The headband he'd donned for such a childish reason in the past might just save his life in the present.
Not exactly sterile, but it'll do.
"Use my headband, and do it quick."
As he passed the sword over, he mentally scolded himself for getting blood all over the precious heirloom. He'd have to make sure to take extra care of it later.

"Hu? Do I believe in the supernatural? Sure I do!" *ichi doesn't seem at all phased by the koko's question. in fact, he seems more than happy to tell him about some of his encounters!*
"I've been a fortuneteller a few times, seen enemies transform at the beginning of nearly every battle... Oh!! That reminds me; have I ever told you about the time when your Uncle Kazuma and I were fighting and he turned into a fire breathing dragon?! It was an intense battle and both of us refused to back down! It's strange though, despite it being crystal clear to me, he always denies that it ever happened. Maybe it's a super secret power he only uses against his toughest opponents...!"
"Oh...! You do, Uncle Ichiban?" He gasps!! Yuta didn't expect Ichiban to actually believe in the supernatural, so his eyes light up in intrigue as he listens to his uncle tell him stories!
"R...Really, now...!!" While the fortune teller part didn't seem too hard to believe, the part of enemies transforming at the beginning of battles, and Kazuma turning into a fire breathing dragon... sounded a more like something right out of a RPG!? "W-What are you, the hero out of an RPG?! N-Not to imply I'm doubting you, but did all of that really happen?! Also that doesn't really sound 'supernatural'-esque to me...!!! B... But that still does sound like q-quite the amount of exciting happenings...!"
Tumblr media
"U-Uncle Kazuma denying it, huh... a-ahaha, the thought of having an uncle that can possibly turn into a fire-breathing dragon: I can't tell if that's more unbelievable than it is believable, considering this crazy house, e-eheheh....y-yeah, let's just say that! W..Who knows: maybe if you master that skill, you can also transform into a dragon, Uncle Ichiban! Heh..."

Do you ship kuwabara and yukina as couple? I honestly have a problem if kuwabara and yukina end up together in the near future, but I just can't get into kuwabara's hate the brother but love the sister kind of trope romance (i admit that it's funny in a way and it makes their ship interesting). Personally I like the aspect of yukina being completely clueless about romance as admitted in her character profile, I also like the way how togashi only slightly hinted they're going to be couple in the future rather than immediately turning them in a romantic couple by making yukina fall head over heels in love with kuwabara just because the series is ending. Just to be clear i absolutely hate those extra anime only kuwayuki scenes where yukina constantly worries about kazuma san, talks to the girls about kazuma san, cries when toguro stabs kazuma san. I like their relationship in the manga much better, where kuwabara doesn't really try to get too close to yukina san to the point that shizuru has to beat him up for it. By the way I don't mind if fans really love those additional kuwa yuki scenes.
As a Hiei fan, I'm not really in favor of them together either, but I've also accepted that it's a practically canonical possibility based on just the manga content alone. I don't so much mind the extra anime scenes just because Togashi did seem to imply that they were canonical. Even in the post series content artbooks he published with the character map in it, I think a fan asked him about what Hiei thought about Yukina and Kuwabara and basically he wrote that Hiei's in kind of in denial and was like, "There's no way she likes him..." If Togashi's going to address the situation that way, I can't argue against them. I think Yukina could do better, but Kuwabara also seemed to be less of a desperate dog after she was introduced, so I can see a world where they could make it work because Kuwabara seems willing to change and improve himself.
For the record for me, I do not ship. I follow canon. Togashi seemed to imply they would probably get together, so I go with that. I hate ships specifically because of this fandom and back in the day how many people were all up on the Hiei x Kurama fanpairing (what we called it then before "ships" were a thing) to the point that they were shoving it down other people's throats and saying it was "so popular it's become canon." That is BULLSHIT. Fans don't make canon. People can enjoy the series and ship whoever you want and have fun with it, but you don't have the right to shove your favorite couple down the throat of everyone else or make other people enjoy the series the way you want them to. The only person who sets canon is the author and their canon is the common language we speak to one another as fans. Things outside of that are up to our interpretation of where we think things could go, but I don't stray from what is canonically there because of how bad my experience was with shippers in the 90s. I hate it for every fandom I'm in. And plus like, I really think that Mukuro was made specifically to sink that ship because people everywhere were going overboard with it. I don't know if it's because I'm asexual, but I really felt like all the allosexual people doing the shipping were making something out of nothing and it was driving me crazy. Like a lot of people were like, "Look at this one frame at how Hiei looks at Kurama!" And then you look at it and there's nothing fucking special about it. And then like taking the anime only drawings that some of the artists at Pierrot made and being like, "Look! They are a couple!" It's like dude, just because someone at the animation studio ships them doesn't make it canon. Togashi says no, so stfu and leave the rest of us that don't think that alone.
Plus now that it's like years later and people are more familiar with LGBTQIA+ issues, people these days are thinking that Hiei was probably asexual, and I agree and identify with that and for me that's one of the things I liked about him because he was focused on other things, which is how I lived my life while so many others were focused on who they liked or were going to date. And one of the things I absolutely despise and hate as an asexual is other people pairing *me* personally with other people and going like, "Oh, you like ____ right? You kept looking at him on the bus!" which was an actual thing classmates said to my face after a field trip. Said boy on field trip was jumping around and acting like a clown on a public bus. Why would I not look at that? I hate people telling me how I feel, and more than fandom ships I hate when people try to ship real people, myself included. Like Hiei is just a character minding his own damn business and I am a human also minding my own damn business, and just people outside of us with their own imaginations put us together with other people. For Hiei it just turns into fanfics and stuff and that's fine, he's not real. For me, that turns into actual bullshit gossip in a workplace or at school that I have to squash rumors about and do damage control because someone else can't mind their own damn business.
I can't remember clearly, but I'm not sure if like Kuwabara like really knows about Hiei's relationship to Yukina? For awhile I thought he knew, but then I think I saw things that also seemed to imply he wasn't told outright and he was too dumb to pick up on what people were dancing around because to respect Hiei they couldn't outright acknowledge it either. Then there's like also that it's probably better not to tell him because I don't know if I'd trust him to keep a secret. I can't really remember actually if he knows or not.
I don't think it's so much he hates Hiei as much as they just don't get along because Kuwabara is kind of dumb. I am more tolerant of him now, but damn when I was first getting into the series I hated Kuwabara as much as Hiei did because he was dumb. It was really irritating and grating and I felt like Hiei was putting him in his place properly when they had conflict. Now that I'm older and looking back on that, Hiei is being kind of a shit and it is kind of unfair to be unkind to people just because they don't get something because everyone has different kinds of intelligence and Kuwabara later really tries to study hard to get into university and become a proper adult, and has good points of like really trying to be there for his friends. Even Hiei even comes to have a kind of respect for him by the end.

Repostober: Day 18
fanfic based off of a line from the song Dress by Taylor Swift basically about Hiyori not knowing how to act around Yato anymore once she realized her feelings
My Hands Are Shaking From Holding Back From You
She always thought getting Yato home would be the hard part. And it was certainly hard enough; he and Yukine had been through enough traumas to last them the next thousand years of their lifetimes. She’d also pushed her body past its limits as well, but she tried not to think about that. After all, it was all worth it to see their smiles, petty arguments, and their other usual antics around Kofuku’s house again.
Despite that, she found herself spending less and less time with them. She used excuses such as exams and plans with her other friends, but those were all distractions she also told herself to ignore the truth.
The reality was that she no longer knew how to act around Yato.
Her thoughts constantly went back to the snow bank where Kazuma cursed her with the fact that her feelings would never be enough. He had since apologized, but the words still stung. Regardless of her own pain, she figured it would be easy enough to hide her feelings around the god. Their friendship was most important to her, of course, so any romantic feelings could be pushed to the wayside.
Talking was easy enough. She didn’t really have to do anything but be herself when it came to having conversations with Yato and Yukine, it was like breathing. It was everything else that would be her downfall; the way her eyes fell to his lips when he spoke, the urge to grab his hand when they walked together, wanting to lean against his shoulder as they sat together on the back porch of Kofuku’s house.
The worst part was it wasn’t even just thoughts; she was beginning to actively have to stop herself from acting out on all of these urges that passed through her mind.
‘Even Yukine-kun being there isn’t much of a deterrent anymore…’ She sighed bitterly to herself, dragging her feet as she made her way home.
“Hiyooooriii.” Yato appeared in a flash of light, giving his usual grin.
Her mouth parted in surprise and she felt her face warming up rapidly, so she kept walking, “What brings you here?”
“I was wondering why you haven’t come over in a while. Doesn’t seem like you have plans today.” He pointed out nonchalantly as he walked alongside her.
She shrugged and forced out, “I’m just tired and it’s kind of a long way home, you know.”
“You’re not having any more episodes where you’re passing out, are you?” He tilted his head in worry.
She shook her head, “Other than leaving my body purposely, no.”
He squinted, “When do you do that? Other than coming to see us.”
“Every once in a while, just to sort of practice and, I don’t know… stretch my spiritual muscles?” She gave another shrug, “I want to make sure I don’t lose the ability.”
Yato gave a bit of a snort, “This is coming from the same girl who begged me to turn her back to normal after we first met.”
“Well, the situation’s changed quite a bit.” She answered simply, running a hand through her hair and pushing some of it behind her ear.
“Yeah, I would say so.” He agreed before taking a small pause. When he spoke again, his voice was a bit weaker, “Hey, is everything okay?”
Hiyori finally looked at him and blinked, “Yeah, why…?”
“You seem a bit… I dunno, distant.” He put his hands in the pockets of his tracksuit, “Aside from not visiting as often, even when we talk… something’s just off. Like you’re holding back.”
She felt her stomach lurch inside her body as she bit her lip. ‘Am I really that bad at this?’
“Did something happen that you don’t want to tell me about?” He asked with a small frown and looked off to the side, “Look, I know I’m the worst when it comes to keeping secrets from everybody, so it’s only fair if you don’t want to tell me. But just know that I’m here.”
“It’s not like that.” She shook her head fervently and found herself fending off the desperate urge to embrace him after that wounded look of his, “Yato, everyone has secrets. And most of yours were to protect others, like Yukine-kun. So stop beating yourself up over it, please.”
He gave a look of surprise before flashing a smirk, “Thank you, truly. But I also see that you’re trying to change the subject.”
She gave a huff and crossed her arms, “It’s just… something stupid. And personal.” Her eyes deflected away from him.
“Ahh. Boy troubles, perhaps?”
She snapped her head back in his direction, now scarlet.
He raised an eyebrow in interest and clicked his tongue, commenting, “Looks like I nailed it.”
“Yeah, sure. Whatever.” She muttered in return. It wasn’t like she could deny it at this point; the only thing she could do is make sure that the topic stayed away from Yato himself.
He put his hand up to his chin, thinking out loud, “Huh, I never really pegged you as the sheepish type when it came to this sort of thing.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Hiyori fired back, annoyed.
“Uh, just because you’re usually so confident. I guess this guy must be pretty special, then.” She noticed his tone drop in the slightest before he looked back to her with a wide smile, “So what do you need help with?”
She stared back for a moment before answering, “I’m not sure that I want any help.” She swallowed and continued to sprinkle the truth within her reply, “I don’t know even know if I’m going to act on my feelings.”
His eyebrows knit together as he frowned deeply, “Why wouldn’t you?”
“I don’t think there’s any chance of anything coming from it.” The pit in her stomach was only growing bigger and she was trying her hardest to ignore the stinging at her eyes as she edged closer and closer to the truth.
“But how could you ever know that for sure if you don’t even try?” The frustration in his voice rang out loudly, “This really isn’t like you, Hiyori. To give up without even fighting.” He moved closer to her and took one of her hands, holding it tightly between both of his, “Besides, any guy that would say no to you is crazy. I couldn’t dream up someone more perfect if I tried.”
The tears were definitely stinging now. “I’m not perfect.” She gave a small laugh.
“To me you are.” He locked eyes with her and she was gone, thoughts no longer coherent.
Her lips were on his before he had a chance to react. “It’s you. You’re the boy trouble.” She mumbled against him.
“Me?” His eyes flickered up to her and she nodded once more.
“I love you. I realized that shortly after you left and ever since you’ve been back, I just… I can’t be around you without wanting more. I’ve been trying so hard to just keep things the way they were, and I can’t. Kazuma-san was right…” She looked away from him and clenched her fists tight against her skirt.
She heard Yato sigh, “Sounds like he gave you some sort of speech about his own feelings for Bishamon.”
“Essentially.” Hiyori admitted with a nervous swallow.
“Firstly, the fact that psycho bitch is oblivious to how much Kazuma loves her and the fact that he doesn’t have the balls to tell her properly has nothing to do with you. That’s his own problem, so pretty much throw out anything Kazuma said.”
She peeked back at him, relief partially washing through her body but pins and needles still around her heart as she waited for his continuance.
“Secondly,” He reached out to brush a hand through her hair, the back of his hand barely skimming her cheek, “You’re not the only one who’s been trying to keep it together. I knew there was a decent chance I’d never see you again when I left, so…”
“Yeah, and I’m still mad about that.” She puffed out her cheeks and gave a glare.
He gave a small laugh before wrapping one arm around her waist and holding the other just behind her head, mumbling as he pulled her close, “I know, I’m sorry. And I love you too, Hiyori. More than you’ll ever know.”
His lips met hers a moment after, soft and gentle. She sighed, content as she melted against him.

that which we call a rose | benkei | name reaction
Benkei knew that, for a good part of his life, he had gone only by his family name. Yes, given names were something only close friends used, but it went further than that, but it was hard for him to remember why he didn’t like something when couldn’t remember what that something was.
So far, he’d been having a normal day, as normal as could be in a place like this. He’s back in his apartment, fixing lunch, fussing with the chatroom he still doesn’t exactly get, joking about names, when…
How to describe a sudden recollection like that? Maybe like a wave, crashing against the brain, rocking it inside his skull. He frowns and looks up from the laptop screen, and then out the window into the gloom beyond. Steadies himself for just a moment. Then he stands up. He’s been sitting too long.
Kaneto. He’s always assumed it was a clumsy attempt at a name to bring wealth and strength made by two people just imaginative enough to work ‘money sword’ into a normal-sounding reading – which made it all the weirder that a name signifying swords was used mostly as a cudgel, screamed at him from across a small apartment. In school, kids far cleverer than they had any right to be told him it suited him – a gold sword, something long, skinny, and useless, just like its bearer.
Yeah, by the time he was out of high school, he was… a different name. A–. All he can remember is just one tantalizing first letter. He was told A– matched him well, in a good way, but he didn’t know why. But he liked it better, even once the screaming was gone and any peer who dared call him skinny or useless could expect to get their face knocked concave by a fist bigger than their head. He was A-kun, A-san, to everyone after the age of 16, A-san to the men in his gang, A-san to his brothers in the yakuza. He introduced himself as A– Kaneto to a certain someone, and never used the name again around him.
The memories build backwards. Another one comes to the surface, painting the base brick in, well, beautiful gold.
A quiet evening in a highrise office in Tokyo, Benkei half-asleep over a mountain of paperwork. Nobody had ever told him that dedicating himself to Kazuma Shinonome would come with so much paperwork! Shinonome was there with him, the only other person in the office. A normal evening, like many others before it, utterly and comfortably unremarkably. Then, the soft footsteps of expensive leather shoes, and a cup of coffee placed on the table in front of him.
“Don’t fall asleep yet, Kaneto,” said Shinonome, with the same soft-spoken seriousness as always, “I need you a little while yet.”
Kaneto. Not A–. He looked up, suddenly awake, Shinonome already walking away. “Wait, what did you call me?”
Shinonome turned back, the little scar on his forehead squeezed in the creasing of his brows. “A-san,” he said, then, “Right?”
“No, you called me Kaneto.”
“Did I?”
Benkei- Kaneto grinned just then. “Yeah.”
“Oh. Sorry, it won’t-”
“No, I like it,” he said, and he did. A name that had just become noise, meaningless sounds to him, suddenly flourished in a moment.
Shinonome- Kazuma blinked. Then smiled, just a little quirk of the corner of his mouth that Kaneto knew well. “Maybe I’ll use it again sometime.” And then continued to walk back to his desk, when Kabeto said something, and he stopped-
“Hey, Kazuma?”
“Yes?” Hesitation. Uncertainty.
A pause.
“Thanks for the coffee,” he said with a laugh.
Kaneto finds himself staring out the window, staring at his own reflection in the window, not really seeing anything. He blinks. Dust in his eyes, or something. He steps back, and away, but smiles to himself as he goes.
