“You’re all rolls, huh?” He would say with a smirk before he’d place a quick kiss on top of his babe’s head. He’d be briefly horrified but then mostly impressed at the bits of food your child managed to get underneath their neck or in other crevices. “How’d you manage to get that in there…?” Over time he enjoys getting all the bits out as he loves cleaning them. It also helps that they let out the cutest giggle when he does. Levi takes his baby’s plumpness as a sign of good health. He wasn’t used to seeing well fed babies as he came from the underground where food was limited. So yes, he does take joy in seeing his little sunshine with full cheeks. It means they’re getting what they need; they’re safe and happy. Let anyone dare mention anything about how his child is getting too plump. “Tch. Don’t you have anything better to do?” He’d shoot them a glare. “Dumbass.” He’d mutter to himself as he’d gently bounces the little one on his knee. Placing a quick kiss on the top of their small head he’d whisper “You’re perfect.”

My current headcanon?

Levi struggles with reading sometimes. Living in the Underground didn't offer many opportunities for a proper education, but he picked up whatever he could along the way and managed as best as he could. He hid it pretty well, too. Many times when he'd been forced into the Regiment, he'd just pass on stuff to Hange and let them handle it, or he'd read aloud whatever he could and immediately act bored as to dismiss the rest and avoid it entirely.

You figured him out, much to his dismay. It was hard to ignore how he'd sit in the library at times, spending a horrifying amount of time on a single page of a book. He'd mumble the words to himself, sometimes pausing to repeat them, and you'd hear how the words rolled off his tongue clumsily.

A deal was made. You'd help him improve his reading in exchange for a cup of tea. After that, it became a common occurrence for the two of you to meet in the dead of night, sharing a book and cups of tea.

thinking about how in the manga Hange and the rest of the dead scouts smile at Levi before fading away, meanwhile in the anime Hange looks so pensive and sad instead, gazing at Levi with so much regret in her eyes because she had to leave him alone, because he's the last one now and he has to carry everyone's hearts forward even when they're no longer there with him.

Thinking about how Hange didn't want to leave Levi, how they asked Levi if he thinks their dead comrades are watching them, and Levi did not reply, but then when Hange died he whispers "goodbye, Hange. Watch us."

I am really so not okay over these two, I am absolutely Not normal about levihan and their relationship and how much pain and love there is inside both of them, and how these two -the pain and the love- can coexist so perfectly even after Hange is gone and Levi is the last one of the OG scouts left.

i feel like more people need to accept the fact that lucifer is an Old Man

like. his diet is exclusively whiskey and fig bars. he does that thing when, if you give him a phone to look at something, he takes off his glasses, squints, brings it close to his face, puts the glasses back on, and squints even harder to see. his size on his text messaging app is up to the max and you can read it from across the room. all pairs of his reading glasses (he owns 3-5 pairs at least) are bedazzled thanks to Asmo and some even have those chain things. his hair is less of a fading from black-to-white but more of a salt-and-pepper hair sorta color. he attempts to stay on the trends but also is a few hundred years behind. he is tired all the time but he has six brats to take care of. he talks about the old days back when things were simple and his brothers were young and cute and listened to him and Belphie is like "okay grandpa time to put you back to bed also fuck you". he is an old man and people need to understand this

“Sounds like you’re just weak.” Levi retorts. “Give me my child.”

Hange rolls their eyes at him. “I never said it was a bad thing, Levi.”

Levi stares at Hange for a few seconds before he relents.

“Your dad’s so easy to anger.” Hange speaks in a childlike voice to the baby. “Good luck, kid.”

“Certain people are quick to anger me.” Levi corrects them as he throws a glare their way.

Hange’s eyes light up when you walk into the room. “Ah, y/n, could you please tell your husband to lighten up?” They request as they walk over to you, your baby babbling on their hip.

You quickly look at Levi who rolls his eyes and you shake your head with a chuckle. “What did you do this time, Hange?”

“I just said your baby’s got some nice weight on them.” Hange says with a smile before looking back at the baby. “Don’t cha, ya little plum.”

You sigh with a smile, knowing your baby’s weight is a touchy subject for Levi. “I’m sure you didn’t mean in a bad way.”

Hange looks back at your husband as if to say ‘See, Levi?’

“However, you should be careful about what you say around him. I won’t be liable for any injuries.” You tell Hange with a smirk as they pass you the child.

“You gotta tell your auncle to be careful with their words or daddy will hurt them.” You take them into your arms, kissing them on the cheek, emitting a happy babble from them. “Isn’t that right?”

“Yeah, yeah, I got it.” Hange says mockingly, making you giggle, before they walk out of the room.

You walk over to Levi whose eyes soften as you get closer. “Hi.” You greet him softly before you give him a quick kiss on the cheek.

“Hey.” Levi sighs as he gently pulls you in by the waist for another kiss, minding the baby. “And hello to you too.” He gives them a gentle kiss on their forehead.

“I was thinking of taking a shower. Do you mind?” You ask him.

“Of course not, give ‘em here.”

After you leave the room, Levi puts down a clean baby blanket on the floor before he sets a colorful inflatable water mat right in front of it.

“Alright kid, it’s tummy time.” He places the baby down on their stomach with their upper half directly on top of the mat.

He watches as the baby becomes fixated on the squishy fish and ducks floating around in the mat. Their chubby hands try to grab at the fish while they try to hold themselves up. “There you go.” Levi says under his breath. The baby doesn’t typically like tummy time so you and Levi tried to think of different ideas to make it more stimulating for them. This inflatable mat is what you two decided on.

They seemed to be entertained for a few minutes before he sees their little body slowly roll themselves over so that they’re on their side. “Where do you think you’re going, hm?” Levi gently grabs the one chubby hand in the air and brings it back down so that they’re upright on their stomach again. The same thing happens a few more times. “Now you’re just being a little shit, huh.” He watches as the baby rolls over for the last time on their back. “Wonder where you got your stubbornness from.” He mutters to himself as he picks up the little chunk. The baby babbles and taps his cheeks with their little hands. “I’m sure that was fun for you, wasn’t it?” He asks them, earning a babble from them as a response. “Yeah, I bet…”

Levi grabs one of the baby snacks on the dresser before sitting down on the rocking chair you begged him to get, baby on his lap. “What am I gonna do with you?” He shakes his head as he opens the bag and feeds the baby a snack. “Should we just leave you somewhere?” Levi asks thoughtfully. As the baby chews on the snack, they look up at their father, their big sliver eyes mirroring his. The way they’re looking up makes it seem like they understood what Levi said. “No you don’t like that idea?” The baby continues to stare at him, making Levi let out a chuckle before he feeds them another snack. “Love you bud.”

one of the many cute things about levi is how he's surprised at your reaction to some of the "mundane" things he does. for example, he'd have dinner + dessert ready for you when you come home from a long, tiring day at work and he'd actually be surprised when, with newfound energy, you give him head/a hj after when you're in bed or when the dishes are done. because to this man, doing these things for you are instinctual and don't warrant special treatment. he's so modest and cute it hurts <3

Levi is most surprised when other people comment on it. Be it a random, but well meaning cashier, noting about how sweet he is to you, winking at you that he’s a keeper; or a comment from someone like Hange, loudly boasting about how cute and gentle Levi is with you.

Of course he is—why wouldn’t he be? He loves you, shouldn’t it be expected to be gentle and tender with someone you care about? Isn’t that what everyone does when they love someone else?

You’re just as sweet with him, taking in his jagged edges and sharp wit with ease. Levi is all rounded out and calm waves because of you, he thinks anybody in love would have their rough edges sanded down to accommodate their other half if that’s what suited them best. You like gentle, you deserve kindness; what is love if not refinement, if not tailored affection for the one receiving it.

He brushes off your praise most frequently, in modesty, yes, but also an attempt to teach you that you needn’t thank him for treating you well. just thinking about doing levi's make-up for him. Being in a relationship and getting ready for the day, doing your own make-up and out of the corner of your eye, you see him sitting on the bed watching you.

It takes a lot of convincing at first; to get him to understand that it's just a fun bonding moment, then just to get him to let you come at him with a foundation brush. He eyes all the tools carefully, judging their cleanliness before finally relenting.

You don't miss how his cheeks naturally flush when you straddle him on the bed, surrounded by products while you carefully paint his already perfect face. You also don't miss the way his eyes soften while he watches your concentrated expression as you try to get his eyeshadow perfect.

Of course, he simply rolls his eyes once you are done and show him the final look, dragging you into the shower with him before you can add any finishing touches.
