ALSO i was a lawyer in a trial (it was specifically called a mock-trial, nothing about this was legal but it was important to us) and I have no fucking clue what I was supposed to be proving. There wasn’t even another lawyer it was just me out there.

#my post #also we were renting out the basement of a restaurant to hold it in #we would all meet there every evening #i think they were just hashing out 400 year old drama #oh also this took place in the merged human and demon realms (this is somehow the same dream as the last one) #and the merging of realms somehow brought a handful of old graves field residents back from the dead #the 3 major undead players were this GIANT man who could remove his head who admitted to stabbing Caleb wittebane #and a lady who was accused of MURDERING Caleb #and the lady’s dad who was all-too willing to accept that she killed a man #i of course knew who ACTUALLY had killed Caleb #because I was. a conspiracy theorist/history nerd human that had become trapped in the boiling isles temporarily as the worlds grew closer #to merging. it wasn’t common knowledge that belos was actually a human in tbi and even fewer people knew he was Philip wittebane #anyways the giant man was up on the stand (we had no stand. he just stood next to me) and he. told quite a story. #apparently he’d gotten into an argument with Caleb (who was holding THE knife) and gotten angry #and so took Caleb’s knife holding arm. twisted it around. and tried to stab him in the head. #this didn’t go well and Caleb then tried to stab him in the. not quite the shoulder more like the collarbone? this also didn’t really work #i blame the weird shape of THE knife. anyways they both backed off when a THIRD person crept up behind caleb #took the knife from his hand #and stabbed him in the back. #the giant claimed that the third person was the lady. the lady went up on the stand and was cryinggggg and her dad was ready to throw her in #prison but I wasn’t convinced (read: I KNEW RHE TRUTH) and the judge decided we’d come back to this tomorrow #as we were leaving I went up to the giant man and asked him one more time who the third person was. he admitted that he didn’t actually know #bitch. anyways then I had to drive my siblings home. #i may or may not have been violet baudelaire. i may have just been a younger version of myself but I’m not sure. #also there was this creepy statue doll thing outside the restaurant that we could see through the basement windows. it looked like it was #smirking down at us. on day 4 of the trial my brother pointed out that it kinda looked like baby belos. hm. didn’t like that. #anyways that was a fun dream. still dunno what I was supposed to be proving bcus I need to emphasize how much the whole Caleb murder thing #was NOT the point of the trial. #oh also the restaurant was important bcus since the realms merged it sat on top of both the location of the old gravesfield courthouse/where #the giants attempted stabbing a went down AND the location of Caleb’s murder in the demon realm. so. uh. there’s that.

one thing from stellarlune that irrationally pisses me off is the fact that keefe had shadowflux, in his heart, for months. and after it was pulled out there were no consequences. not one. no echoes or anything. can you imagine how interesting that would be? an empath with echoes in his heart and finding a way to deal with that. and yet? nothing came of it? it was nothing but a plot device to find keefe and im so so mad. want to maim.

Unless I have a word limit like for 1u I have never once in my life accurately predicted how long my fic will be. Every time I'm like this will be 2k :) it is 6k. Every time I'm like this will be 15k :) it is 7-8k. I DON'T know

39. Wildest AU scenario you have written?

Gosh I feel like I don't really write very wild AUs, I feel like it's all WWII or Urban Fantasy. Other-other Dallas was weird as hell and more speculative than fantasy in a way that was a lot of fun to do and no one ever asked me about it but the suggestion of Roope being some kind of godking-reality manipulator was intentional. I would love to write more sci-fi shit. I love urban fantasy so much but I feel like I'm neglecting aliens a little.

I got sucked into the Aegon and Rhaenrya marriage scheme, and it's opened an entire different cans of worms this time

People say Aegon and Rhaenrya's marriage would solve the Dance of the Dragons but they'd be wrong and ignoring the obvious which is who between them would be settling for the consort title and who'd Viserys even set aside Rhaenrya as heir for Aegon(which he didn't do even in canon) if he allowed the marriage or who'd he make Aegon the consort or who'd he ignore the heir issue and let his silence imply everything for everyone to misinterpret. I mean to the Green team(Otto at front and center) it'd obviously be Rhaenrya but by the time Aegon comes of age, Rhaenrya would be firstly older and hopefully had secured a powerful political cemented over those long years which would make it more difficult for them to dispute her as heir or even if they do, they won't be able to take Kingslanding from her(unlike in canon but I feel that Alicent and Otto being able to secure the marriage from when she was younger who'd cause her to feel an even more oppresive pressure as the Green would gloat/be smug about their victory for the throne all through her younger years until she makes herself a problem for them)

The overarching problem would be what about Daemon?

I feel like Daemon and the Velaryons would then form another faction against them though cause that'd be like 3 dragons from Daemon, Baela(assuming the war starts before or once Rhaenrya finally marries Aegon and is pregnant so there's absolutely no chance for Daemon anymore, anyway by the time that happens the girls and their dragons should be all grown up) & Rhaena(assuming since her egg doesn't hatch, she could go claim a dragon from Dragonstone). Plus 2 dragons from Rhaenys and Laenor. And assuming Laena dies & Vhagar is lost as well, Daemon could then remarry and have other children who could claim Vhagar so that'd be 4-6 dragons against Team Green & Team Black(4-5 dragons from Green depending if Aemond gets Vhagar or another dragon plus Rhaenrya).

I feel like Daemon would try to start a war before Aegon and Rhaenrya had children so the count of the dragons would be more on his side and Team Black & Green wouldn't be able to use any children's marriages to lure people their way

And while the Green children could still marry any of Laena or Laenor's children or even Laena/Laenor if they don't marry, I don't think Corlys spite would allow that when Daemon is right there connected with Laena already with greatest closest chance than anyone else at that moment(5-6 vs 4-5 dragons fight) for the title of king if he won

The Targaryens especially in the Dance of the Dragons feel like a neverending circle of two snakes devouring each other, the earlier generations to the next generations, from parents to their childrens. The parents raising their children the only way they know how to until the children finally grow up and devour their parents because that's the only way they've ever known how to live
