hc i’m ngl i think skk would call each other pet names when they’re being mocking and insults when they’re being affectionate like

Chuuya, through gritted teeth: babe (sarcastic) Chuuya, worried: bastard (affectionate)

Dazai, irritated: darling~ (sinister) Dazai, gleeful: ugly slug (affectionate)

i think the two of them have settled into this norm where even their most outlandish insults aren’t taken all that seriously bc they know there’s no malice behind it and they’re comfortable. using pet names tho…that’s when they know something is Wrong
