With 23.5 finally coming out, the people are rejoicing at finally getting a high profile gl from GMMTV. But there have already been several gls airing this year, including my fav TsukuTabe, that have been flying under the radar with fandom, and in general there are more gls already out there than folks seem to think. I just know you have a list of all the gls we should be watching, please share with the class!

Thank you for the ask! How did you know I had a draft of GL recs to make at some point? [Trick question, I mentioned it to you.]

It may seem like I'm out here hating on GL because i've made a couple of negative reviews of recently airing series recently (Love Senior and Chaser Game W in case you're curious) but I actually have lots of GL that I love and that I wish were better known! Thanks for sending this ask so I am inspired to actually finish it! I've limited myself to series so that I could keep the list and this post to a reasonable length. Where possible I've listed where you can find each of these and included a link. And I've included an 'elevator pitch' summary but I am NOT in marketing for a reason, so please don't roast me too hard for my terrible comparisons. Alright, enough waffling!

Twig's GL Rec List

She Loves to Cook and She Loves to Eat S1 & 2 (Japan, 2022 & 2024, both seasons fansubbed by @furritsubs; if you need help accessing this show feel free to DM me!)

Elevator pitch: Our Dining Table with lesbians and an even slower burn. Watch for beautiful food, acespec rep, mental health and therapy rep

What might turn some off: Extremely low heat, and quite slow-moving; warning for a disordered eating and family trauma plot (v gently handled)

Let's start with the one you've already mentioned. This is a heartwarming slice-of-life slow burn in which an autismspec-coded woman who likes to eat is invited by her neighbour, a femme acespec woman who loves to cook, to come and eat her food. It starts from a very practical place (when you love making food you need someone to help eat it), but their relationship grows as they spend more time together. The story follows them as they both move towards self-actualization in several ways: as a lesbian, as asexual, at work, with their families, with their friends, with each other. This show is so careful to say the important words aloud. And there is so much delicious cooking! Each episode highlights a particular recipe, and the food porn is real. Do not watch while hungry, but definitely watch. The found famiy vibes in this one one are also immaculate.

She Makes My Heart Flutter (Korea, 2022, YouTube)

Elevator pitch: Younger lesbian friend group tries to help out (slightly) older lesbian bar owner with mixed success. I can't think of a good BL equivalent, The Moment Since feels the closest with its similar bartender/patron romance

What might turn some off: Comedic tone; short runtime; struggles with being closeted

This is a gem of a miniseries about a bar owner and an interior designer who smoulder at one another while an intrepid group of younger bar regulars (including the bar owner's neice) meddle. This series is really cute, solid, and full of sapphics! Once again found family vibes are immaculate (you may sense a theme in my faves). Run don't walk.

Fragrance of the First Flower (Taiwan, 2021, GagaOOLala)

Elevator pitch: Right-person-wrong-time/second chance romance; tonally is a little like We Best Love 2: Fighting Mr. 2nd but with an ambiguous ending.

What might turn you off: Medium heat, second chance romance means they break up once, internalized homophobia, adultery/cheating, at one point there's a creepy dude, child with autism (depicted well), ambiguous ending

At its core this is a story of a woman who can't stop getting in the way of her own happiness. This series is a little more sad than the rest of this rec list but I couldn't not include it because this relationship is so poignant. Plus there's a s2 that supposedly is to come out in 2024 so maybe we'll get our happy ending after all?

Love Greater Than or Equal to 70 Degrees C (Korea, 2019, YouTube)

Elevator pitch: Ingredients but with lesbians staring at one another over beautiful tea pairings! What more could you ask for?

What might turn you off: Low heat; short runtime; ambiguous ending; like Ingredients this is essentially a long ad for the café it's filmed at.

This is a Korean miniseries about passionate tea sommeliers making really fancy tea while staring at one another a LOT. Perfect sapphic representation, 10/10 no notes. This one packs a lot of the drama tropes into its short runtime, so even though it's short it's full of butterfly-inspiring moments.

Sleep With Me (Philippines, 2022, GagaOOLala/iWantTFC/Netflix w/VPN set to Philippines)

Elevator pitch: The Truth About Cats and Dogs but the self esteem issues are handled without catfishing. BL equivalent: Hmmm. Closest I can think of is Gaya Sa Pelikula.

What might turn you off: There's some ableism (treated as such) in this show; Open ending.

Stellar GL between a late night radio DJ and an insomniac who listens to her show. One of the main couple is a wheelchair user and the show tackles ablelism and navigating disability in relationship as well as feelings of inadequacy in a relationship and how that manifests as interpersonal conflict.

Our Relationship Ended Before it Began (Korea, 2022, YouTube)

Elevator Pitch: Along the lines of I Cannot Reach You; the show gives both perspectives and they are held back by queer angst.

What might turn you off: No kiss (but they make it very clear both want to kiss), internalized homophobia

Really sweet miniseries about having a crush and being afraid of being hurt so you don't actually make a move. I really like the way the girl who has not dated a girl before defaults to gender roles and it throws the more experienced lesbian lol I also really like the way this show makes clear that both of them are waiting for a kiss, and that if you get in your head about things, it can get in the way of your own happiness!

Pearl Next Door (Philippines, 2020, Youtube)

Elevator Pitch: Gameboys but with lesbian vloggers.

What might turn you off: Love triangle, lots of teasing but low heat in the end, a lot of (good) conversations about mental health issues, ambiguous ending

This is the GL spinoff to Gameboys, starring Pearl from Gameboys. Pearl ends up being fought over by the two gorgeous women in the gif, an old love and a new. I love the queer friendships in this story as much as the relationships. I will say it's an open ending (that felt a bit like the showrunners didn't want to decide between ships) and definitely the love triangle features prominently but even in the face of these aspects that would normally turn me off a series I had a good time. The characters and interpersonal conflicts feel very real, and are allowed to be complex even when the show tone is comedic.

Dear Uranus (Taiwan, 2021, YouTube)

Elevator Pitch: Schoolgirl ensemble GL; a little like My School President but without the singing.

What might turn you off: Short runtime; ambiguous ending; a little bit of bullying; very standard romance trope execution

The first Taiwanese GL miniseries, this series was produced by a Taiwanese lesbian couple (Rabbit & Wolf)! Lots of excellent drama tropes, and incredibly gorgeous women (I think the entire watching audience fell in love with Erol.

Lily Fever (Korea, 2015, YouTube)

Elevator pitch: Complete crack; YYY but with more kissing and frankly an even less coherent story.

What might turn you off: The lack of coherent plot; less a romance and more a very thirsty lesbian kissing everyone she can

This miniseries is utter chaos. Nothing really makes sense, it's all just random excuses to cause very suggestive moments (and kissing) to happen. I love so much how this series depicts women being so absolutely thirsty for one another (and yes that date isn't a typo, this series is ~9 years old). Not an "happy ever after" ending but it really isn't that kind of story.

Chasing Sunsets (Philippines, 2020, YouTube)

Elevator pitch: Ocean Likes Me with lesbians. Resort romance with a mental health twist.

What might turn you off: Some of the mental health stuff gets intense, this was filmed in 2020 so the pandemic features heavily; hopeful but slightly ambiguous ending.

A complex story from the Philippines covering mental health and finding yourself. A woman shows up to a resort and befriends one of the women running the resort. They get closer as they spend time together, and the resort owner realizes something is off. There's also a BL side couple in this series.

Show Me Love (Thai, 2023, YouTube)

Elevator pitch: A little like My Day the series with lesbians, in that they work together and fall in love and it's full of tropes

What might turn you off: The advertising for the Miss Grand competition, there is some bullying and cheating (though way less than I was expecting tbh), not a lot actually happens, the editing gets a bit wonky at the end

This is essentially a massive ad for the Miss Grand Thailand competition; this GL was produced by the same company that produces that competition, and the stars are mostly Miss Grand competitors. The main pairing were shipped in the actual competition, and the company decided to make a GL about them. It's very slow paced and low-stakes, and there are better kisses than I expected considering everything I just said about where this show came from. There are a lot of cute moments!

Girlfriend Project (Korea, 2022, YouTube)

Elevator Pitch: Love Class with lesbians

What might turn you off: One of the leads is kind of mean in that pgitail-pulling way? It ends abruptly (but happily)

This is a short miniseries about two girls paired in a class that are assigned to "date". The chemistry is chemistrying. And there is a kiss (a good kiss, and a tiptoes kiss at that!). This show also has one of my favourite tropes, in which someone who seems like a pushover stands up for themselves and their partner finds it very attractive. For the record, in this show they are watching another GL by the same company, Love Tech.

Lulu (Philippines, 2022, Vivamax/grey)

Elevator Pitch: Present Perfect with lesbians (but with a better ending).

What might turn you off: Depictions of panic attacks, brief depiction of drowning, pandemic lockdowns, illness, exes, waffling, happy but open ending (which I actually liked for this story)

Two women trying to move on from the garbage in their lives meet at the beach of a B&B (where one saves the other from drowning) and become one another's company during their escape and then something more. They both have baggage that seems determined to keep them apart even as they continue to be drawn together. In the end, they decide to stick it out and see where they end up, with no guarantee of happily ever after, which I found very sweet. Requires either a VivaMax account or searching the grey for it, but it's worth the effort (check MyDramaList comments for suggestions on where to find it). Plus one of the leads has a cactus as a pet.

Welcome to the Lesbian Bar (Korea, 2023, YouTube)

Elevator Pitch: A little like Fudanshi Bartender but without the fudanshi bartender and all of the bar patrons are lesbians lol

What might turn you off: Short, can get a little bit preachy, abrupt ending

Cute short series with different very stories every episode as different patrons visit the bar. The stories range from women who have been together for awhile, to people meeting from an online app for the first time, to someone visiting a lesbian bar for the first time; and yet the story all weaves together in a way that's satisfying though ends abruptly. Includes some solid marriage equality propaganda.

GAP the Series (Thai, 2022, YouTube)

Elevator Pitch: Kind of the vibes of Together with Me but lesbians and in an office instead of school. Angry boss falls for charming new intern and

What might turn you off: This one is the highest heat of all these recs; homophobia especially amongst family, brief depictions of death by car, brief mentions of suicide, cheating, bullying, abuse of power in the office.

A list would not be complete without this one! Honestly the plot is a bit wobbly but the show is a lot of fun. The girls are very cute, the feelings and tension builds really well between them, the friend group is excellent, and in the special we get a wedding.

The rest of these have caveats of one kind or another, but i couldn't leave them off a rec list, so here are the side couples and censored stories that are still worth your time anyway (I might do a separate more detailed post for these, as well as for films, one day if there's interest):

Nevertheless (GL side; Korean, 2021, Netflix) Not sure it's worth watching a whole kdrama for side lesbians? Search soljiwan on youtube. They are great. Even the Netflix account stans them. I watched this (ngl, I watched the SolJiwan cut) as it aired and was constantly braced for it to let us down but it did not! A really good friends-to-lovers story.

Friend Zone 2: Dangerous Area (GL side; Thailand, 2019, YouTube): These sapphics are messy and I love them. Decent conversation about dating someone with mental health issues in this series, and they're one of the only couples in this ensemble to get a happy ending. If you're just watching the lesbian couple (which you can, their story is pretty self-contained) you don't need to have seen s1.

Six Survivors (GL side; Japan, 2022, Viki) This show is a horror comedy and it is SO MUCH FUN. Warning for zombies and blood, but way less than you might think. One of the eponymous 6 survivors is a lesbian who keeps trying to convert them to veganism lol. If you watched Chaser Game W you'll recognize one of the actresses in this, the lead actress is from Kamisama no Ekohiiki, and one of the guys is from the prequel series His as well as I Want to See Only You! And yes there is a kiss. Also a surprising number of Mallrats references. Not for people who can't handle gore or relationships being complicated/not a "true love" story/ambiguous ending.

Kamisama no Ekohiiki (complicated question of is it GL in parts, Japan, 2021, furritsubs once again coming through to save the day) This one is a bit complex because there's bodyswap, but the girl who falls for the bodyswapped boy-in-a-girl's-body is clear that she is only interested in the girl. One of the better bodyswap stories because the bodyswap is not a secret for very long, so instead there's a lot of introspection about what gender means and who/what they are attracted to. Feels wrong to call this GL, necessarily, but it's very queer.

Couple of Mirrors (Censored GL, China, 2021, Viki) Story of a rich girl and her assassin girlfriend. This production did an amazing job getting away with what they could, just don't watch the last five minutes and we've got essentially a happy lesbian family.

Legend of Yunze (Censored GL, China, 2021, @douqi7s) Very cute very low budget xianxia miniseries with two seasons and a special. The special is set in modern times in a future lifetime so if you want a cute censored-but-clearly-a-soulmate-love-story this is the one for you. Don't be thrown off by the weird cuts/abrupt episode endings, that's in line with cdramas in general.

Led Astray by Love (Censored GL, China, 2021, @douqi7s) A very fun and adorable isekai story in which a modern day girl is transported to a wuxia novel setting and has to figure out how to get home, and gets romanced by the princess along the way.

My suggestions for content with toms (Thai category that's similar to but not exactly the same as butch lesbians) in response to this post.

This really good GL MyDramaList list (not made by me!) lists what seems to be everything I've mentioned and about 200 more. Even I haven't seen a few of these!

My YouTube playlist of sapphic content: This includes anything I stumble across or find in my searches, a lot of music videos and random shorts as well as some microseries and miniseries that I don't consider GL but are WLW/sapphic in addition to true "GL" content. For serialized content, I add just the first ep. A complete mess, but you can trawl through to find stuff to watch, like Hetero!

SOONOTSUE: The same producers of She Makes My Heart Flutter have other short series on their channel worth checking out; if you liked that one, try Out of Breath!

Shakeshoulder: Thai YouTube producers of very pulpy (read: low budget and dramatic plots) shorts

FuFuKnows: This YouTube channel is owned by a gay Taiwanese couple that produces shorts every week, including some with GL mains and sides. These are very low budget but cover a whole swath of queer themes.

@douqi7s is a godsend providing subtitles for all kinds of content, including sapphic shorts and more series than I've listed here. Check their tumblr for links to all of their content; A Practical Guide to Being a Superstar's Assistant has one of the best setups to giving us great moments in the guise of something else so that they get past censorship I've ever seen; I also recommend The Vampires if you're into genre fiction, as well as Legend of Yunqian if you enjoyed the xianxia parts of Legend of Yunze. @wlwcatalogue did an excellent summary of many of the non-wuxia options here.

Quick pitch for the streaming platform GagaOOLala; it's affordable, has a ton of content, including a whack of GLs (originals, license series, and a ton of shorts), and is run by queer people out of Taiwan who care about good quality queer content being made and having an audience, and using the soft power from those successful series to support social change. And if you can't afford a subscription it's worth checking out what they have for free, they open up temporary free access to some things for various events throughout the year.

In searching for gifs for this post I found fellow tumblr user @drowningparty 's WLW compendium list; they've listed more series and films so check it out if you still need more content!

*wipes sweat off brow* that should be enough to be getting on with, but it's really just the tip of the iceberg! If there's something specific you want to see with sapphics let me know and I can tell you if I know it exists. Anyway, I hope this gives you and everyone else a taste of what all is out there! I of course always want more, I am serious about being a sapphic dragon hoarding every crumb i can get my lizardy hands on, but I do think what we have should also be appreciated more. In your opinion, what are the top three peaks of worst narrative choice in Miraculous?

An interesting question, because with Narrative choices, its not so much one episode its the impact it has throughout the series.

But because I dont want to solely be Negative. I will also pick 3 POSITIVE narrative peaks as well. (I am only talking about what has aired so far. there could be choices later on I dont like or enjoy more than before. But we will see)

3rd worst

Su Han and the Order of Guardians

Honestly the whole thing with Feast. which i thought would make this list, but nope. Because of Su han, I think Feast did the world a f***ing favor

Su Han is still my least favorite character. He is a stick in the mud that comes to yell and does nothing. The fact that he shows up in season 4 and doesnt even help Marinette with Guardian stuff is bulls***. He should be helping by teaching Mirakungfu, or anything!

Really, he only exists to show that Fu really made the best out of a s*** situation. When the order was beaten by a 4 FOOT TALL BLUE DOG, Having met Su Han, I understand why now.

3rd Best

Marinette telling Alya she's Ladybug

So this one is something many people are on the fence about. If you like this choice, you like or tolerate Alya. If you dont, you hate alya.

I for one Love Alya and Marinette who was sinking in her new responsibility gains a confidant that wants to help and do whats best for her. (she is like 80/20 on that but still, its the thought that counts)

Alya does help flesh out somethings and helps Marinette grow as a guardian and is probably the reason Chat noir didnt f***ing ditch earlier than kuro neko.

Alya even showed to be a somewhat competent ladybug replacement. But thats out the window with the recent episodes. I still think this is one of the best choices made in season 4

2nd Worst

Sentimonsters are Sentient

The show is weird with Sentimonsters. Now I dont know if Sentiadrien is 100% confirmed. But its gross how some sentimonsters are given more respect than others. It is like "Oh only the Human looking ones are sentient" Sentinino, Sentialec, Sentigabriel, sentibubbler all got controlled like puppets with no agency and no one gave a f***.

They should just be emotion's given form and nothing more. Because basically the peacock miraculous creates slaves. And its kind of f***ed up. Id put this at number one, but its still sort of being explored and if the show finds a way to give the sentimonsters full control or a means of not getting erased on a whim, I can over look it. But yea, its pretty bad.

2nd Best

Gabriel Getting all the other Miraculous

I have wanted this since SEASON 2!

The problem with season 3 and 4 was the fact that Ladybug and Chat noir had access to so many powers, heroes and abilities that basically Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth were not even a threat anymore. That they could have taken him down at anytime if they were more active. Like no cap, why didnt Marinette give herself the snake AND horse when she went for Shadowmoth in Sentibubbler. Or the horse and Bee? Stun his butt and WIN.

With Gabriel having the miraculous, the tables and stakes are now high again. Ladybug and Chat noir are up against the wall. Thats where the tension needs to be if you want things to develop.

The Worst

Miracle Queen (The last 10 minutes)

So this may seem like cheating but this episode really did a LOT and had a massive impact on the show. Lets have a check list.

It had Fu wipe his memories (something that apparently he could do but was never mentioned)

Chloé's growth and development is completely tossed out that she ends up exactly how she was in season 1 (and eventually worse)

The love rivals start dating the heroes because Marinette read Fu's letter which just told her "Life sucks and you gotta settle"

So basically it pulled a Deus ex machina out of its butt, destroyed the potential of a redemption arc and then make no means of seeing a struggle just poof, like it didnt even happen. And then the love rivals that had hardly any screen time (maybe like 2 episodes total with the heroes) are just dating.

The last one may have gotten axed but the first two are ever present and its horse crap.

The Best

Chat Blanc

So this is gonna need some explaining. While I am not crazy about the time travel, and I am not crazy about all the things in the episode, or even how some of the trauma is handled. Chat Blanc is an excellent choice to show the viewer how things can go wrong.

Its not the scenario where Hawkmoth wins, its not the heroes winning. Its EVERYONE LOSES.

This episode took Season 3 to the darkest its been. I would have loved if it was several episodes. I would have loved if this was explored more. But the fact that the group took a concept fans have thought about and brought it to such an NTH degree

I 100% can say with certainty before this episode no one wrote Chat blanc in fanfiction as an end of world threat. Maybe a dangerous beast or feral cat. But NOT A COSMIC LEVEL THREAT.

This episode demonstrated how dangerous the powers of the miraculous are. It gave the viewer a reason on why Marinette and Adrien dont share their identities right away. Its because of the worst case scenario.

(I would have put origins, cause umbrella scene but thats not so much a narrative choice as it is the start of everything, but know its basically pseudo number one)

Unorganized thoughts about the Kate/Edwina/Anthony storyline in Bridgerton

I'm going to say something weird but I think that what happened with Edwina in the 2nd Season of Bridgerton is what happened to Jacob in Twilight. The writers loved the "side character" so much that they decided to give them more space in the story but chose to do so by making a love triangle with the main characters and then dragging it for too long.

The way Kate and Anthony's "love story" started was surprising because it focused a lot on Anthony courting Edwina and at the moment when the love triangle storyline should have stopped and made it clear that "Kate was the one", the show went with a proposal from Anthony to Edwina.

If it weren't for the book, a lot of people wouldn't even have realized that Kate and Anthony were supposed to be endgame after that proposal scene. I know I had my doubts about who the endgame couple would be because I couldn't believe that they would go through with the wedding with another woman, in a romance. Especially if that woman is the MC's sister.

Marriage of convienience and slow burns are very common in romances . Anthony's lack of feelings for Edwina doesn't mean that Edwina and Anthony's story wasn't possible, so it wasn't inimaginable to think of them as the main couple. Queen Charlotte and King George storyline also started out like that.

All the codes used in Bridgerton Season, made out Edwina to be the main character, Kate only became the main character in the last 2 episodes.

Edwina got the Big dramatic proposal, with Anthony shocking everyone by declaring his love in front of everyone. It reminded me of another scene from a Shonda Rhimes show. I even made a post about it:

Edwina got her Big wedding ceremony, sponsored by the Queen.

Anthony wasn't even the one who stopped the wedding, Edwina was. Anthony wanted to keep the wedding going. Edwina got to do her Big speech and she was the one who was brave enough to face the Queen and stop the wedding.

We only saw Anthony being horny for Kate, nothing about him screamed main character in those scenes.

And to have Anthony and Kate hook up on the day of Edwina wedding to Anthony...So tacky. Not very romance novel like.

I think the show would have been better if they had sticked to the storyline from the book, from what I've heard, there was no love triangle and Edwina was rooting for Kate and Anthony.

The truth is: Edwina & Anthony's relationship followed the classic romance steps, courting proposal, wedding but Kate & Anthony's didn't.

As much as I love Kate, if they really wanted to sell Kanthony as Endgame from the start, they should have ditched the emotional cheating and the love triangle with her own sister, and made her the main character.

We didn't even get a Kate and Anthony wedding scene....

So I have different theories.I could be fully wrong or delusional or any other words people call anons here you can share your opinion (please don't be too mean hahaha) but this is just me rambling about things

Around Christmas everyone saw that only Alexandra was not present Charlotte and even Jade (she probably started dating Arthur few months ago) were present. Charles pr team keeps track of everything (it's normal for every driver/celebrity) and even Alex does we know that. So they saw all the rumours of Alex not present meaning they broke up or it's not serious and you know how he acts cold with her all the time and he's never open with her.

Now Charles went to Lisbon on 31st I'm surprised he was not seen at any airport when usually he is captured by someone at airports at least. They celebrated their NYE in a populated area (this was said by a Portuguese fan but it was anonymous so I'm not fully sure) but he was drunk we can see his post has a different outfit it's hard for me to believe no one caught him in lisbon. Last year he took pictures with fans in London inside the club.

I'm not complaining about the privacy or hiding because let's be honest that man deserves some peace and quiet after a stressful season and also because he always makes time for his fans.

The next day he goes to a store and one story out suddenly he's captured by fans all around. Only one wag page received pictures even those were posted on a close friends story and that wag page usually deletes all Alex hate comments, they close the comments and post most of her content only.

Now first pictures come out with Marta and Nico but there's no sign of Alex. People speculate she's not there boom there's another picture that looks like they are arguing. Twitter filled with rumours like they broke up he cheated they are having problems next comes out another blurry picture of them holding hands. What I'm trying to say here is maybe some things are random but it's not a unusual that agencies hire fans or accounts to spread certain things as damage control. (Damage control for her absence during Christmas)

Now we have seen Charles taking pictures with a lot of fans on the same day even in streets so he was not against taking pictures it seems. Tbe twitter user who met Charles on 2nd said he wasn't keen on taking pictures because he was with his girlfriend. But what made them think that? Their next comment is no they were both very polite and nice to talk to but their initial comment implied they were hesitant? So what happened? And they were not even Charles fan but they said they recognised Alex and believed it was really Charles next to him (sounds unbelievable for f1twt if anyone here has experience with those accounts on twitter you would know)

Next day he's in Monaco in a very populated area taking pictures going around with Alex when it was said that he was not found doing casual things he did with Charlotte when they were dating.

Just to sum up what I'm trying to say is what we see from celebrities is not always real or authentic. They micromanage everything at least their teams do. But there are a lot of inconsistencies in their rs.

Bestie, I saw more delusional and crazy opinions than yours. I think your questions (cause I see more like that) are interesting.

What I think (tbh, hope is the right word) is gonna happen in XO, Kitty S2:

◇SPOILERS below

◇ Biased towards my favorite ship, sorry ;)

• First of all, Kitty is obviously going back to KISS with Yuri's help;

• Dae will be back too, not sure if because they're going to excuse his 2nd place (it's way too stupid for a scholarship to demand 1st place every single time) or if they're gonna find out that Florian cheated/Florian will tell himself;

• Probably not the first option, or else the whole drama will be for nothing;

• Also, whatever happens, Florian will stay at KISS, even if there are new complications regarding his parents or the fact he cheated;

• I think Florian and Q are going to break up at some point, maybe Q will even have a new love interest, but will probably end up with Florian;

• Dae, too, will have a new love interest (most likely a "definite" one) and their main drama will be about him getting over his past with Kitty;

• On this topic, I really hope Dae and Kitty's friendship solidifies and that they're able to overcome the awkwardness of their break up;

• Now that Juliana is back, I think she's gonna share dorms with Kitty;

• Unless Yuri decides to stay at the dorms too, to be closer to Juliana, then she will be the one sharing dorms with Kitty (her mom won't allow her and Juliana sharing the same dorm);

• Juliana will notice how close Yuri and Kitty are (specially if they share a dorm), she's gonna get jealous and will break up with Yuri;

• Yuri will realize she has started to develop some feelings towards Kitty;

• Kitty and Yuri will notice their feelings for each other soon after;

• They're gonna date and we will have some very cute scenes but, in the end, they'll break up and realize they're better off as best friends, just as how their moms were;

• And part of the reason for the break up is because Yuri is still in love with Juliana, while Kitty, once again, fell for someone else;

• If it wasn't obvious before, I'm talking about Min Ho here;

• Taking off from the last episode, he and Kitty will kinda ignore his confession, not forget it completely, they'll just try to act normal and keep bantering with each other, but there's also gonna be somewhat of a tension between the two of them;

• Not sure if they're gonna show much of Kitty in the US before KISS, but, either way, I don't think they'll see each other during the winter break;

• So, as soon as they're all back to KISS, the awkwardness of the confession is still kind of lingering between Kitty and Min Ho, and Q is the first to notice ofc;

• Then it's Dae, and that will result on some drama between the two boys, with Q in the middle not knowing what to do;

• But it'll all work out at the end, and we'll be able to see more of the boys' friendship;

• Then, as times passes, Kitty and Min Ho get closer and closer, and she starts to fall in love with him too;

• But she just started dating Yuri, and she likes her, so Kitty does her best to act like nothing changed;

• Until the moment Yuri notices that Kitty and Min Ho's relationship dynamic has changed, and decide they have to break up;

• And they do, and there's a little bit more drama, but we end the season with Yuri and Juliana as a couple again (or working towards it), and Kitty and Min Ho realizing they relaly fell for each other;

• Which gives way to a third season, paralleling the three movies for TATBILB;

◇Some extra notes:

• I hope Jina divorces Yuri's father;

•Also, that she, Yuri, Alex and Prof Lee get closer, like a real family;

• We're going to found out more about Simon and, idk, maybe he's the reason why Eve Song always told her daughters not to go to college while dating someone?

• Also, maybe a quick appearance of Lara Jean and Peter, please

Anyways, let's see how much (if any) of it is going to actually happen :3

Mike Wheeler Theory. DM to Paladin pipeline.

People here were talking about the reason why Vecna attacked only when Mike left the Hawkins. And how he was straightforwardly called "a heart" by Will later in the season.

He's the one holding the shield here, while everyone else backs him up. And while we have Lucas on the right, who was and is a Knight (warrior) too, Mike chose to be a Paladin (knight of honor).

Which is interesting, because:

He was DM before, right? He practically wrote the whole story while it was happening. (Also, it's worth mentioning that he canonically wants to be a writer).

And what happens after is: Will goes missing and Mike totally loses his mind, trying to find him. And then there's El, and he wants her to bring Will back, but the whole thing just keeps going down. Mike doesn't have control over the situation and it freaks him out

They, obviously, do not play DnD while Will is somewhere missing.

But when they get him back, and by the end of the s1 Mike's is DMing again (he is writing the story).

This got me thinking (I came up with this theory in September, so correct me if I'm wrong):

In s2 he's not constantly freaking out, despite El going missing. He's got his usual life back. Notably, he isn't playing, he DMs.

Now, we know Wheeler siblings are control freaks, right. They like when things go the way they want them to and hate the change, especially if it's an uncomfortable or/and an unexpected one.

Skipping 2nd season, in the 3rd season Mike isn't the one hosting the game, which, considering the two seasons and his personality, is weird.

Will does it instead, and Mike not only doesn't want to play, he makes a show out of how much he isn't interested in participating. 3rd season Mike doesn't have a leading position for the first time in the show, and we're just ignoring it somehow??

Or y'all figured it out and I'm just being slow. In any case...

4rd season Mike is the first one we get as a full-time player, and he choses a "Trusted Leader" (ref. the picture above). Safe option for his pride, if you ask me.

1st season again: Will throws the dice and gets 7 (meaning, Demogorgon takes him), and Lucas offers him to cheat, because Mike didn't see the number, but Will decides he'd tell him the truth.

Lucas said, Will could've lie and Mike wouldn't possibly know he did. This lie would've saved Will's life. And it doesn't have to do anything with Mike, who supposedly is in the lead. Because if Mike doesn't know, it didn't happen. Mike's influence goes as far as his knowledge goes.

Off-top: I also think, the dice scene was foreshadowing Will's fake death, because Mike didn't believe Will is dead even after he saw the body. Mike didn't witness Will die = Will is alive. Simple as that.

Finn said Mike's role was passive in s4 and he is right! Mike wasn't the one to initiate anything since s3 where he lost/abandoned his hosting privilege.

However, as I mentioned before, in s4 Mike is a player (both in ell Fire and in real life). As soon as El gets taken away - she was the reason he stopped playing, keep that in mind - he starts doing conscious decisions again. He plays the game.

El's "From El" letter hit him hard not only because it was his own medicine shoved down his throat. He is forced to "look at the table".

He has been clearly avoiding his responsibilities before, but this makes him realize his mistake. It reminds him of how bad he actually is at losing control and how damaging it appears to be. Not only for him, but for the others too.

Side note, literally nothing happened when Byhop siblings left Hawkins. The only two people in the show who are connected to the Upside Down and were proved to be capable of surviving it. Why Vecna didn't attack as soon as the worthy opponents weren't here anymore?

Instead, he waited for Mike to leave, before he took the first shot. (On the afterthought, Vecna's victims were experiencing the symptoms while he was still in the town).

And now we can go back to the painting, after all of my points were made:

Mike Wheeler is the Shield of Hawkins. He protects the town as well as his companions. The way he holds his sword - upright and forward, causing the beast to stay away, can easily mean that he's one of the few things that keep Upside Down hidden from others.

It's his little world that he was slowly loosing control of ever since s1. And now he's forced to fight to get it back.

This theory has no conclusions, only observations, but I know that there are smart people over here, who can make something out of it.

*Spoiler alerts ahead for the 2nd half of Season 26*

(Side note: I've pretty much covered my thoughts on the first half in separate posts on my blog throughout the season, so I'll just put my 2nd half thoughts in one long post😄)

So how about that surprise unhooded Kenny moment as well as some surprise screentime for him in last week's "Dikinbaus Hot Dogs"??🌭 And on his birthday too, no less!😎🎂 And god, there were so many great callbacks in this episode: the Daryl Weathers appearance had me in stitches with the return of the "They Took Er Jerbs!" running gag, as well as getting to see the return of the "Aaaaaand it's gone" bank teller and that confirmation that Stephen Stotch is still up to his old NSFW habits from "Butters' Very Own Episode"! But even better was the satisfying win for Butters and Liane at the end! Cartman got exactly the comeuppance he deserved!👏👏

We also got to experience a modern day Cyrano with "Deep Learning" and the rise in AI technology. It's pretty scary how far the advances in AI have come and how concerning it is in terms of cheating, art theft, and missing out on the true human connection and being supportive during some really heavy conversations like what happened to Wendy when she was 6. However, like Mr. Garrison, I believe AI could help Hollywood churn out more original ideas😄

Speaking of Garrison, I'm also happy we got to see more of him and Rick this season, but Rick (and Wendy) deserves so much better! Although I found the ending of "Spring Break" to be so sweet, and the funniest part was the "I Love Rick!" scene and the crowd chanting it as they're storming the Capitol and over the live footage!😂 The "Well, I guess we'll just have to see what happens" is a clever little metaphorical nod to Trump's fate, especially with his facing possible indictment, for the next election.

It may be a wrap on Season 26, but we still have the 2 new Exclusive Events to look forward to this year (I DO consider the events part of the season anyway😉) and I can't wait!!😁

Idk how I feel about this ending. Obviously I loooooved Ashlyn and Big Red having their heart to heart and Biggie coming out was EVERYTHING, but beyond that, I just don’t know.

Maybe I’m just being cynical, but I don’t love the way most of the relationships this season were handled. I personally had no opinion as to whether I wanted Rina or Portwell to end up together. I will admit this ending made more sense with how the season was playing out, but I just didn’t love the way that EJ had to be hurt so badly, and put through so much shit, for it to happen.

As far as the documentary ending goes, I really, really, REALLY hope they don’t carry over any of the storylines created by the editing of the documentary. Like the whole thing with Jet was super weird and random. Also they tried to make Carlos look like a cheater, which I hated. Everyone knows he would never cheat on Seb and I really don’t want this weird narrative to carry over into the next season, because I kind of really hated it.

The last thing I will say on this season finale is: I’m really glad that Nini chose to leave. It obviously stems from Olivia becoming a big star and wanting to focus on her singing career, which it great! But I’m also glad we will get to focus on all these other amazing characters in an actual full length season, instead of dealing with Rini drama AGAIN.

All in all this season was pretty mid for me personally. I didn’t hate it, but it is probably my least favorite season so far. The entire thing felt like filler for the series, as a way to write out Olivia and bring attention towards the other people. But they also left out 3 main people for most of the episodes (Miss. Jenn, Big Red and Seb) which made it feel off. On a side note, where the hell was Mr. Mazzara?? Also the entire timeline of this season was so weird to me. The 1st and 2nd seasons take place over, approximately, 4 and a half months, and this was over 2 weeks and it felt more rushed than either of the other seasons did.

So yeah, those are my thoughts on this season and it’s finale. I’m just looking forward to season 4 and everything going back to relative normalcy (please god). Remember this is all my personal take, if you feel differently about anything I said, that’s fine!

veronica mars rewatch 2x09: my mother, the fiend

• I am back! (After 6 hours 😂) I am lowkey addicted to this season more than the first one for some reason

• anyway can we just… discuss what this episode’s about?

Veronica uncovers her mother’s permanent record and Trina directs a Neptune High play and immediately dislikes Logan’s girlfriend. Plus Weevil confronts Logan.

so we’re bringing Veronica’s mom back (maybe not her mom per se, but information about her mom) bringing Trina back, and Logan has a new girlfriend??? I feel like this is such a 180° from the last episode I watched lol

• why is Duncan in this health class now and Gia’s not lol

• ah the classic “you have to take care of a fake baby for a week” health assignment. I never did that

• woah we’re going back to the fake drug test results from the 2nd episode? Why is Clemmons now concerned with how Veronica got those files? That was like weeks ago dude lol

• I guess maybe he didn’t have proof but now that there’s “a new security system” he does?

• Clemmons was so concerned about Veronica taking the drug testing files so he punishes her by making her work with…student files? Yeah that makes sense.

• serious question tho why would they keep files on students who graduated 20+ years ago???

• oh Veronica’s mom knew Mrs Hauser (the health teacher) ??

• but wait, that means Clemmons would’ve had to have known that Trina was Principal Moorehead’s daughter…how would he have known that?

• also it’s very cliche to end the episode with Meg waking up from her coma. Not a fan personally.

• although apparently there’s an alternate ending which is beyond messed up and I’m so glad they didn’t go with it for multiple reasons

I have windblow.... I suddenly have runny nose due to allergy, I need to take citirizine?

I feel frustrated... I'm still waiting for Amazon and EXL agent coz ate Susan told me that they will have their opening for less than 6 months experience in CC ( call center ) by next month...

But the problem is, if I'm gonna work there is always a weird thing happening in CC like sometimes you have to pair yourself on one of them... It is just weird for me... I just don't know how to explain...

I hope I can explain it here... I wanna cup of coffee and will try to explain if I can...

I still have windblow...I have a morning dream or windblow named "Rob Marciano" huh? Weird windblow.... You will see him on ET news right? So, sad! Our TV is damaged and still can't create fundings for that.... You will see that handsome man on TV on ET channel ( It is a talk show ). I knew it since 10 years ago, right?

So,anyways Uncle DD is still not visiting us for the fundings here for food and cleaning materials and some toiletries...

Me? I can't get a bf who can assist me....Someone has a face and has a religious heart. But I want my bf mature...

So, I was just thinking of Mark coz of the feeling of there are so many unfair Mickey Mouse... If he is just nearby? I will feel hurt!!!

If I'm not working and I'm out of money I'm somehow lazy to go out but weird I still want vanity... Done, watching "Irish Wish" .... I don't know... I love my exes, the way I Iove my old friends, that I have maturity to appreciate my family but I'm just HUMAN... i feel like someone has asked me "beard" before LOL

finger:

“Mason, I don’t think you can understand. My marriage is what it is, and that’s my business. But if I could…” They’re stopped at a red light and Frank uses the opportunity to take Mason by the chin with his strong, thick fingers. “If I could, Mase. It would be just you and me, and I mean it with all my heart.” ('bitter mutual cheating')

nipple:

Granit slips him another bundle of 100-euro notes. That gets him the right to put his hands on Angelo’s chest and touch his skinny stomach and little nipples. Sure, money can’t buy love, but Granit knows he’ll never have that anyway, and money can buy all the rest of it. (dangerous au flashback 2--I did this one last night but it's the only WIP with nipple in it lol)

teeth:

“Luka and I went down to take a look at the Neroverdi, last night, like you asked.”

“Snuck on board, actually.” Luka grins, and the familiar sight of his long, crooked front teeth makes Dejan feel calm. No matter what happens to him here, his friends are the same as they always are. (mare liberum)

He’s hungry, he’s starving, and making next to nothing doing seasonal work at the apple orchard just down the road from the tiny town the dark-haired boy led him to. He’s filled up on apples. The sour ones, the sweet ones, the ones that dry out his tongue, the ones with the squished bruised bites that taste sweeter than the sweet ones. His teeth hurt from all the sweetness. He’d slipped a tube of toothpaste made for sensitive teeth into his pocket at the drugstore a couple weeks back. The dark-haired boy had whispered that it was okay, and stealing toothpaste was easy compared to his past. But it hasn’t made a difference. (ancient lovro majer and luka ivanusec + witch!Livi fic i was writing for zuzu and the deathpond but still haven't finished)

beard:

Their foreheads bump together and Sergio kisses her, or maybe she kisses Sergio. Either way, they kiss out of a shared feeling of something. Her thumbs run over his beard.

“You feel a little like him,” she whispers. “But you have much nicer muscles. You wouldn’t catch him in our weight room if you paid him, you know?” She runs her hands along his side and gropes his firm waist a little. “The laziest footballer I ever met.” (revenge pegging!)

“Thanks,” Frank says. “So are you, Jamie.” His beard is always trimmed to a perfect length and his hair looks nice and thick—Frank worries his is thinning. (10022, this went by yesterday already haha)
