Three reasons to love Lilia Vanrouge!

We’re in a bit of a Diasomnia month so I thought it would be fitting to start with Lilia.

#1 DILF

Man’s got children to raise and he does it so well, it’s hot. We got Silver who was the child of his enemy, but he brought himself to love and raise Silver. When Malleus was still in his egg state, it was none other than Lilia who loved Malleus so he could hatch. From there he devoted himself to both Silver and Malleus without any time for himself. That takes a lot for someone to be tossed into parenthood and manage to grow into it.

We also got these selfless acts he does to get Malleus to grow outside of his locked up world. He managed to fake a stomach ache to get Malleus some solo traveling time in the Scalding Sands event.

In the Lost in a Book event with Stitch we get an even closer look to how Lilia wants everyone to enjoy their time. With Riddle he constructs a “rule” to make Riddle enjoy the game of capture the flag. Which goes to show how Lilia truly looks out for those close to him and takes it upon himself to come up with a solution.

Then we get events like Playful Land, where he experiences a wild gremlin like Grim. During the Monstro ride we get to know that Lilia was paying close attention to Grim who almost fell out of the ride. The only reason Grim didn’t was because Lilia was holding tightly onto him. Lilia could have left Grim to drown in the pool of water, but he didn't; he held on tight, even if it meant sacrificing having fun.

Confidence is him

Lilia has mentioned this several times throughout his scenes, but he truly thinks of himself as adorable and cute. Boasting about himself with full confidence means takes a lot to do. Especially the cute part, I find most people don’t like being called cute and would prefer other descriptions. However, Lilia loves his appearance, but it's not in a narcissistic kind of way. Rather, he’s so comfortable in his own skin he doesn’t mind other’s opinions.

Letting go

Lilia was a general who went up against humans who very much destroyed his kingdom. This very understandably would cause one to be in grief and despair or even cause resentment. However, Lilia does the opposite. He understands there are humans who do harm, yet he understands not each human is like that. In fact, he finds value in the lives of humans and is able to let go of his past. Really, he accepts the past and finds a way to move on.

With that I leave you three reasons to love Lilia, I’m sure I could go on and on, but the post would get too long. Thank you for reading this post. Reblogs are much appreciated!

I can't write shit recently cause I'm really busy, but I had another Isekai!Akuneko AU >:D

So, so... I know I've been writing about Isekai!Aruji-sama a lot BUT! What if MC was isekai-ed, not as Aruji-sama, but as a butler/maid in Devil's Palace, an NPC who gave the past butlers happiness before the despair, or an angel! (I'm going to write the NPC and Angel AU in another post)

🎻-🧪- Isekai!MC but differrent -☕-📱

Outcome 1: You spawn into the world as a Devil Butler/ Maid.

It's just that one day... a new butler/ maid enters the mansion and POOF! Now we have a different soul in the body!

For example, if spawned in the early days of the Devil Butlers, you will find the oldest butlers in the original timeline (Berrien, Miyaji, and Lucas), and you can gain their trust knowing they'll most likely (they have to be) alive at the point when the main plot begins. There are obviously going to be other butlers in the mansion, so you could try to save them and spare some trauma for poor Miyaji. You could prevent Lucas and Miyaji from getting into the fight that caused them to give each other the silent treatment for a thousand years (and maybe prevent Miyaji to get his scar). With this, your relationship with Lucas and Miyaji (dilf duo *cough*) will be pretty ok. Do they trust you? Yes ✅ Will they be mad at you constantly for risking your life for others too much? Yes ✅ Will you be invited to their wine parties? Absolutely yes! ✅✅ Will they be relying on you a lot? Yes yes!! 100% YES ✅✅✅

They'll stick next to you like glue. From the main and side stories, it is said that they treated each other like brothers until the big fight they had. They'll treat you like their little sibling who has to deal with all their shit (good luck with the next few centuries with them...) Or if MC has a motherly personality, they'll both joke that Miyaji is the dad, Lucas is the weird Uncle, and you're the Mom/ other Dad

As for Berrien though? At first, he may think you're a very helpful butler/ maid since you're running around the palace helping everyone in sight. But as time goes on and the new butlers (Lamli, Lato, the problem man-children in general) come along, he might think it's really sus that you know how to handle each and every butler with their unique personalities. Sure, you have been a butler/ maid in Devil's Palace for quite a long time, and you've met new butlers and known lots of unique people over those years, but something feels... off. Just know he'll be having his guard up whenever he's with you (But he doesn't hate you don't worry)

As for the butlers that came after (a few centuries before the main story begins) like Haures and Fennesz will look up to you like a little brother to an older sibling (ouch, Fennesz's trauma kicking in). You can save Boschi from losing his arm and eye, give Fennesz more self-confidence, and Ammon... to at least let him trust you (if you succeed congrats! Now you have another emotionally unstable boy by your side!!).

There's going to be one point where you and Miyaji find Lato living in the forest after years of the torment he's faced locked up in a science lab. And what are you going to do about it? Give him love and comfort of course!! He won't open up to you immediately (Lato's trust issues) but with your knowledge of a 1000+ year old person and memories of the character's personality, now you have a child! The child is Lato btw. You're now his new mother/ father and you don't have a choice. Oh my, such a happy family! *crashing sounds in the distance*

Then gaining Lamli's trust. He's not that hard like Lato, just needs a pinch of Lucas, and... BOOM now you have another magnet stuck to you good job :D

(I'm not sure about Nac's past since I haven't looked into his side stories)

Now for the new butlers. Not new like Teddy, Hanamaru, and Yuhan, a few decades before the main plot. First, we have Bastien and Lono. An Emo and a Sunshine boy... how nice :D You're in for a treat. Lono is known to be the best cook so better eat those plates clean! And Bastien... silent acknowledgment I guess. He won't open up until the events of Episode 1 come to a close, so it's best to have some common interests with him like carving and fluffy animals to at least crack his walls down.

I'm not quite sure about Flure's past, but at least save try to save Zepal (the butler that gets demonized a few years before the plot) for him. Alright?

Now, I believe you deserve a new title~! Now you're the younger butler's parental figure!! I'm going to bet my soul Lamli will call you Mama-chan or Papa-kun as your nickname.

Possible love interests in this AU outcome will be... Aruji-sama, and possibly Berrien? Aruji-sama is pretty self-explanatory. I mean, who wouldn't want to date someone as pretty as you? And Berrien is... an Enemy/ Stranger to Lovers kinda troupe? He won't trust you much at first, but over those decades and centuries he might one day... one day open up to you.

PICK YOUR FIC, TIMOTHÉE EDITION

Alright kids, so for Lea’s birthday at the end of April, I am going to be posting a fic that has never before been seen on the tumbles (and AO3, which is the superior format). Thing is, there are quite a few options, all incomplete, and that means you—yes, you!—get to decide which one!

Let me tell you a bit about each fic, how much I’ve written of them, and then you can decide which one you want!

1) If You Like Me, the OG RPF. Started in October of 2021, this fic has been going for many moons. Summary: College student Lea has never interacted with men, and after her dad's treatment of her mom, she likes it that way. All-girls schools have always been more comfortable than the alternative. Men are dangerous, and they're even more dangerous if you're stupid enough to fall in love with them. Lea would like to postpone that as long as possible, preferably indefinitely, and she's confident she'll be able to do so. That is, until a certain someone strolls into her part time job and flips her world on its axis. Follows real life closely. Chapter count: 7.

2) If I Dare Speak Your Name. Summary: Lea and Tim have been friends for awhile, and she’s always been careful not to let her feelings complicate things on account of him being stuck in a relationship he can’t escape and isn’t happy in. Things come to a head during her birthday trip, and they begin a secret relationship that changes everything. Chapter count: 8.

3) Mr. Chalamet, also known as the dilf au. Boring title, not-so-boring premise. Summary: Timothée was a bit dumb as a teenager and had a kid. Now, sixteen years later, his daughter is in an early college program at Lea’s university, and when the girls get partnered up for a semester, Lea ends up meeting one of the most famous actors in the world. An absentee wife and a fifteen year age difference may or may not be adequate for preventing the development of Feelings™. Chapter count: 4.

ugh this is gonna be hard for most without going back through their entire discography, but I'm gonna try me best here. I want to point out that I have always, since getting into rock and metal as a middle schooler, been deeply more prone to recognizing and remembering guitar work and obviously the vocals; it's not a conscious choice, it's just what my brain does, but it does make this a much more difficult question for every single thing besides guitar. So, I'll start with guitar!

(Cut here bc I'm sure this post is gonna be long and yucky formatting-wise)

So my mind could possibly change if I listened to everything again, however I am pretty fucking confident in that for guitar, it's "Mutter." More than anything else, it's that fucking refrain; it sounds entirely overflowing with wrenching pain and sorrow to me, and I cannot BELIEVE Reesh has said he wrote that shit for a wedding, like bitch it makes me want to cry without vocal assistance to set the vibe, holy fucking shit who died at that wedding??????????????? It will regularly give me goosebumps when I listen to the song.

Okay, second-easiest (I think, lol). For Flake's keyboard work, I'm a BIG fat lover of his performance in "Weit weg." I adore synthwave-style musical works, and this sound is just so classic and really does it for me. I think it also helps that I recently binged it for like, a full day for no reason other than it was stuck in my head real bad lmfao

All right, next one: bass. This is one of those more difficult ones, because I think like a great number of people, the bass is astronomically harder to single out in heavier music, unless it's basically the only thing playing (which we stan hard as fuck I wanna hear my Boy), and because of this, I took the time to listen to some bass covers of various tracks to have the sound singled out more, and now, I think I'm going with "Stripped." It's a head-bobber to me!

... aaaaand the hardest: drums. I want to scream from the fucking rooftops that this is no disrespect or disregard for Schneider, he is a vital member of the band that I adore, and drums are so instrumental in establishing the beat of songs, it's just that this is the one instrument that for some reason, my brain doesn't seem to latch onto and remember when I think of the song? It's completely indeliberate, I hear it and it just slides off my smooth-ass brain. 😭 I hate it because I love our dilf drummer so very much, so like this makes me feel so rude and as if I don't care for his part in the band, which couldn't be further from accurate; I reiterate, he's vital, as much as everyone else. All that being said, this is the instrument I am least confident about when picking a favorite, but like for Ollie, I visited a big chunk of songs that made me think "wait I think the drum performance is strong here," so take this one with the biggest grain of salt: I think I'm going with "Eifersucht." I like the fast pace of the drum in this one, and it's super rhythmic, and that's... all my non-drum-intellectual ass has got, lol. I'm that kid critiquing shit they don't know about right now.

/moor: I've taken this to heart and am currently plugging away at "Shangri-La". I am going to work on the above fics, along with the final chapter of "Pop the Top", to try and move them as far forward this year as I can. There's a good chance "Shangri-La" and "Pop" will be completed, along with *possibly" "Kimono no Onna", if I pull hard. No guarantees for “TAoDaRM”, but I’ll try and crank out two chapters this year, if possible. We’ll see how close we get to the end from there. ;) Thank you for helping me prioritize!

i guess more akatsaku fics? i've been lowkey wanting a comeback era of akatsaku fics like back in the days While I love moor and her writing, I have a soft spot for her UchiSaku fics in particular. Historical AU/ japanese lore MadaSaku and KakaSaku, i'm a big fan. MinaSaku please 😅 but generally stories where prospective partners of Sakura are somewhat possessive and experience jealousy over other interested males 😅 Mada/Saku happinesses. There's always drama plots, I would like for them to have a happy ending for once! DILFs. Of all shapes and sizes. Comedy

/moor: Dude, for the AkatSaku fics, I'm with you. I've been wanting a renaissance of those fics, too. (Then again, I've also been wanting to indulge in more dark!fic writing where I could explore some of that, and comedy, to have fun with it again.) I wasn't confident in my writing (fanfic for one thing, but Naruto-fanfic) back when those fics were popular (pre-2010s or so?), unfortunately. ^^; Fingers crossed we can have a few little one-shots this year that get to dive into those days. /moor: UchiSaku: My luv, I'll never part from UchiSaku. My ADHD/hyperfixations don't allow me to give up some things, and dark haired brooding men are here to stay. /moor: Historical AU/Japanese lore: Ooooooooh, I wonder what I could do with this, maybe in a one-shot... I loved writing the "Tengu" fic... Let me see what Ghibli-ish notions cross my  plot notebook as I ruminate on this a bit. /moor: MadaSaku and KakaSaku: Mmmm.... favs of mine, too. I admit, I stopped writing as much KakaSaku very specifically because they were my most frequently plagiarised fics. I spent most of last year's writing time (literally, weeks and months from January through early autumn) taking down plagiarised fics and fic-scrapers. It killed my will to write and is the main reason there were so few updates last year. I have nearly a dozen KakaSaku WIPs that will likely never see the light of day because of how certain I am they'll be plagiarised (again). HOWEVER, I am participating in a few fic exchanges this year and am currently working on several KakaSaku one-shot gift-fics, so those WILL be published probably by the end of March 2023. If you're on my Fic Update Notification List, I'll be sending out a link when they're ready! (And there will definitely be more MadaSaku.) /moor: MinaSaku: I want more, too. I have some plans for this pairing—Likely won't be available until 2024-ish, but yes, they're coming along. ;) /moor: Possessive of Sakura-fics: YES. More coming, and definitely in 2023. What do you think moor's biggest writing problem/challenge is? (delays between updates? low-quality updates? poor organization? poor writing? skipping between ideas for stories? inconsistent updates? inconsistent story writing? moor not keeping promises/meeting expectations? etc.)

I think that we are lucky you share your stories at all, but if I had to pick something it would be that you have too many WIP open at a time. Since all the updates that come out are meaty and high-quality, I don't mind the wait at all. One thing I struggle with trying to find a specific fic from Moor if it's been a while since I've read it. There are a lot of platforms and posts to check and sometimes I fail to find what I'm looking for. Maybe a sort of index page/masterlist of the fics and their location could help in case it's a common issue? (I suck at bookmarking and lose fics all the time which is a me problem, so feel free to ignore this wish and sorry if I'm being unkind/selfish :)). Delays with updates. Your quality is immaculate and I cannot emphasize enough how much I love your fics!!!111oneoneone ❤️🔥 if I could have one wish it would be more frequent updates, or maybe some update schedule? but I know that’s hard so I’m happy with what we currently have esp when it comes to my absolute fav, Forest Fire ❤️ I have no problem with your writing and I think you keep your readers updated enough.  If I were to be extremely nitpicky, maybe have progress reports on fics?  

/moor: Too many WIP: You're 100% correct, and I have no excuse, I'm sorry. /moor: Masterlist: This was an excellent point and I took it to heart. The Masterlist is available now and updated when I post each fic and update. :) /moor: More Frequent Updates/Update Schedule: I'm currently trying to update more frequently to close out a few fics; I'm not sure I'm able to be consistent enough for an actual update schedule, unfortunately, and I'm sorry. My real/non-fandom life doesn't lend itself to consistency. /moor: Forest Fire: Some know this after following me for (literally) years, Forest Fire is one of my precious babies. One of my fics that I worked hardest on. Huge portions of FFIII are written; however, it's one fic wherein I refuse to compromise my writing. My goal is to (someday) have it fully written so that I can post regular updates for it again, as I did for FF II. Possibly monthly, or even bi-weekly, updates, to keep the story flowing without suffering from huge gaps of time between posts. I apologize, I don't have a timeline for when that will be possible. /moor: Progress Reports: This is possibly feasible. Let me think about this. Do you have any recommendations for what form you'd like this in? Like, a webpage where I indicate how close a chapter is to completion, or a spreadsheet wherein I write at what stage each chapter or fic is?

How did you decide on your name? How do you think your personal experiences have informed your stories, if at all? What is a trope you would never write because it doesn't appeal to you? Alternatively, is there a trope/plot you are dying to write but you're afraid you won't do it justice? /moor: My name is a variation on part of my first name. Many/most of my stories are based on personal experience in one way or another. :) A trope I could never write would be... hmmmm... Constant suffering, I think. Particularly children suffering and abuse. A trope/plot I would love to write but am afraid I would never do justice... hmmm... (You ask good questions, they have me thinking). Kindness. Or a story where the protagonists don't come out on top; I like seeing people win and overcome their challenges, but that isn't always a mature outlook, as we in reality must often learn to live and accept that we won't win all our battles, at least not in the way we'd like. I struggle with accepting that, so it's something that I wouldn't write in my fics often/well because it grates on me. : )

When will you update kimono no onna? Its so good and no pressure just really curious and eager for more😅 /moor: I squeezed in an extra update for you over the holidays! :)  There will be more coming later this year. We're closing in on a major plot point.

Do you feel your interest is increasing/decreasing for Naruto and therefore your fanfiction? /moor: Hmmm... I don't know if I'd say 'interest' as much as 'patience'. I find myself reading comments or commentary from readers who sound too young to be reading my work, and that frustrates me. I also am tired of dealing with plagiarism, assholes reporting me to AO3 for bullshit reasons and having to deal with the AO3 staff who have deleted some of my stories, and individuals who convey an insufferable amount of entitlement towards authors. I am very fortunate to have the engagement I do with so many wonderful friends, readers, and writers. I struggle with my patience for dealing with the BS that sometimes accompanies writing for a popular fandom. It’s one of the reasons I am (100% seriously) looking into how to create and run my own fanfic/creative outlet website.

Do you listen to anything when you write? /moor: Constantly. :)  I have many different playlists. Some for specific chapters of a fic, some for a fic in its entirety. Most are in my Spotify! :)

i adore your works, wips, snippets and crumbs! i know life gets in the way quite often, so i hope you never feel too bad about not being able to update or anything! you and your health always comes first! Most recently in the past year (actually, the last six months), the car accident, memory failure, medication complications and then the subsequent multiple heart attacks have also slowed me down, to the point where I'm now on Long Term Disability (LTD) from work, until we can sort out what's happening to my insides  (And no, I'm not "that" old, I'm 41). It's been a battle, and I know I repeat myself here, but I can't express enough how much it means to have my real life falling down at times and yet be able to see a kind comment or compliment on a fic. It reminds me yes I can still do something right even if I can't do everything I wish I could.

Rūrangi Season 2 is out!

Out. Haha. See what I did there?

I enjoyed it a lot, even though I was dubious about some of the recasting, I was brought around. My main problem is that while Season 1 felt like a complete story (hence them being able to re-edit it into a movie) - albeit one with character arcs open to exploration - Season 2 is really only the first half of several stories.

There had BETTER be a Season 3, is what I'm saying.

More thoughts, with spoilers, under the cut.

My biggest worry was the recasting of Jem. Arlo Green was just ADORABLE in the role, and I didn't know if anyone else could exude that kind of sweet earnestness. Liam Coleman does a pretty good job! I think that he's sometimes anxious rather than sweet, but Jem's social anxiety is explored this season anyway, and I loved seeing Jem awkwardly flirting with Caz, and I also loved that we got the 'ride or die, we've been friends forever' vibe.

We also had Gerald recast, with Kirk Torrence leaving in favour of Cohen Holloway. Holloway is the "Werewolves, not swearwolves" guy from the WWDITS movie, but once you get past this I thought he was okay. He seems about 10-15 years younger than Torrence, and some of his lines I could imagine coming better from the original, but he DID manage to give us the dad (and DILF) energy the role needs.

I enjoyed Anahera's arc, which moved on beautifully from her Season 1 arc. I especially loved how it went from her reciting her pepeha to actually going out and putting her hands in the awa (river). Also her cousin is Anika Moa. Love it. Less love for the suggestion of an interesting supernatual ancestor-connection storyline which didn't have enough time to get off the ground this season.

Poor Caz! I'm so glad he's finally opening up about Andy Ainofo, but he's got SO much processing that he hasn't been able to do, and I really want him to get through it so he can be the awesome devoted boyfriend Jem deserves. I thought there was such an interesting contrast in the way he was immediately all-in on supporting the queer youth of Rūrangi, and didn't quite see that Jem was actually at the same stage of coming out and exploring his identity and probably needed that same support.

I absolutely cheered at the end of episode two when Jem and Caz made out! I felt bad for Jem - he was having some body issues in comparison to Caz, and THEN finds out he's competing with the memory of an actual pro athlete? Poor guy :-( I can also see how from Caz's POV this is something they've done before, Jem is safe and familiar; whereas for Jem it is kind of all new for him.

So as far as I can see, these are the plot threads left CRUELLING DANGLING:

Gerald's heritage - he seems to have been adopted as a baby by a Pākehā family, and is very wary or uncertain about what his Māori heritage means for him and how to interact with the local iwi

Caz's trauma - he needs to process A LOT, for someone good at being emotionally astute and supportive with The Youths, he has some blind spots (like taking Jem for granted)

Jem's confidence, and his relationship with Caz <3

The phosphate ballot (and Gerald's bees)

The housing development

Whatever Anahera's grandmother did, and her connection to her tipuna who she resembles so closely

Anahera and Ellie's flirtation

The little baby queers, including the homophobic mayor's kid

Whatever the supernatural fuck is going on in Rūrangi

Me figuring out where exactly this was filmed

Wild

On one hand, I feel like Wild gets too much screen time, but on the other hand I also really like how his character is handled. He seems the most... Normal human person of them all, (aside from the whole "being over 100" and capable (and willing!!!) to eat rocks and crap). Wild isn't some innocent little baby, nor is he an irredeemable asshole, he's just a regular guy. Bad at handling emotional conflict maybe, but we've all been there. The important thing is he's trying.

Who are your top five favorite Star Wars characters? (No order to the list) 

Asajj Ventress - Just her, she is so badass and never gives up. She knows her self worth and will put anyone in their place if they make the mistake of trying to try her. I know for a fact that she is a total sweetheart hidden deep within her soul and I, for one, would give her lots of kisses and hugs.

Plo Koon - it's simple really. He is a DILF and makes sure everyone around him feels like they are enough. He is a cheeky sweetheart who I can imagine loves to gossip all day long. Not only is he a total sweetheart who take cares of his loved ones, he always stands beside them no matter what. He never fails to voice his opinion about them and always has confidence in their abilities.

Hardcase - I love this man with a burning passion. The moment I saw him for the first time, I knew, that this man would be the death of me. Just the way he giggles and has no shame in being himself makes me smile like crazy. Also the fact he truly cares for his brothers and will do anything to protect them. I wish we had more time with him because I know we could have more heartfelt moments with him like we got with Rex or Fives or even Hevy.

Echo - Another simple explanation. I see a ton of myself in him. Being a type of concerned parental figure for my friends, worrying about their mental health and safety. Echo, just like Hardcase, holds a special place in my heart. He is someone I know I'd be able to simply let my guard down, cuddle with, and talk about our days until the sun sets. Also, I feel a connection with him of not being able to talk about past traumas because you are too busy trying to adapt to your ever changing environment while checking in on your friends mental well being. I feel him and I could be able to just let our guards down and simply talk with each other about anything and everything.

Shaak Ti - I love this woman so much. She is so kind and stands up for what she believes in while having no hesitation to stand up for others when they can't do it for themselves. She and Plo Koon are one of the very few Jedi's I genuinely like. She is a badass and very smart, she constantly proves herself to be throughout the conspiracy arc in CW. She is another character I wish we had gotten more time with because I believe she would be a very interesting character to watch grow over time.

Which planet would you choose to live on?

Kashyyyk, without a doubt in my mind. Having been born and raised in a desert, I would love to live somewhere where there is full of life and water. Plus I just know those houses in the trees would be so amazing, the air would be fresh and I could fall asleep so fast just by listening to the sounds of the water running along the river and the leaves swaying with the wind. It would be so peaceful. 

What would your occupation be in a galaxy far far away?

Something in the field of studying animal life throughout the galaxy or painting murals across the galaxy to honor fallen loved ones, during the what seemed like endless wars, who never got their own funeral service.

If I could have a perfect version of the galaxy, it would be Hardcase. I just love everything about him, from how hyperactive he is to how he laughs. A loth-wolf or loth-cat would be my perfect sidekick because they are very loyal creatures who understand emotions extremely well. It would be nice to be able to have a creature where you both can share a mutual understanding of each others emotions also I know both of these babies would be amazing cuddle monsters. BUT if it had to be a droid, it would be K-2SO specifically rogue one reprogramed K-2SO. The sass and personality that droid had never fails to amaze and get a chuckle out of me.

For 7 years of his daughter’s life Katsuki had been happy just doing the dad thing. Sure it was hard being a single father on top of being a high-ranking pro-hero, but who would this man be if he didn’t take on challenges

But as his baby grew older and wasn’t so much of a baby anymore Bakugou’s friends pushed him more to start dating again (mainly because knowing all of the actresses and schedules of his daughters favorite shows was getting to be a bit sad) either way with a bit of coercion and confidence boosting Bakugou started to date again.

Now Bakugou should have known that bringing just any woman around his daughter was not a good idea, she was raised by him the girl has no fucking filter.

“Daddy she looks corny.” She would whine when Bakugou brought home a woman that he had saved while he was working. They had hit it off pretty well and the job had ended with her slipping her phone number into his pocket before leaving in an ambulance.

Anyways baby girl was not rocking with her. To her defense the girl was corny looking and she didn’t like kids, she was a clout chaser who wanted to be the only woman in Katauki’s life, so suffice it to say corny bitch #1 did not last long

After that incident Bakugou learned to bring women to the house only after at least three dates and knowing that they weren’t opposed to kids (he took finding love very serious and couldn’t get down with any lady that wasn’t down with his number one girl)

It took a few more failed attempts before he found you. You both had a total meet-cute moment in a park or something cliche like that and after a few coffe dates, a dinner, (and several sneaky links here and there) Katsuki was finally ready to introduce you to his daughter.

Off the bat the vibe was immediately better than the first go-round. “Daddy she has curly hair and skin like me! We look like we could be sisters.” You ofc thought the interaction was adorable, but that wasn’t the impression he wanted to give off. After explaining your relationship to the little girl it was all attitude and sass all the time.

You weren’t expecting her to warm up to you immediately, but you hadn’t expected her to be so territorial. The only alone time you and Bakugou could get was at your place, which he had gone to less and less because of work and after school activities. But your seldom moments of intimacy only brought you two closer and closer til one day you both realized you were in love with each other.

The day of reckoning was upon you and Katsuki as you told his daughter that you two were going to have some changes.

“Princess, Y/N is gonna be coming around more. And I know it’s going to be a big change, but we’re gonna take it slow and you can tell us if you’re not comfortable with anything.”

Baby girl took the news hard. Hysterics, tantrum and all. You couldn’t be mad though, it had just been her and her dad for so long. It could be hard to share. So when she calmed down you shooed Katsuki out of the room to have some girl talk.

“I don’t want you to take my daddy from me.” All the attitude was back and she sported the cutest lil pout.

“Oh honey. I would never try to take your daddy away from you. I know you love your daddy very much and I’ll never try to get in the way of you and your dad. I just want to know if it’s okay that I give him some love too. Between us girls he needs all he can get.”

“You love Daddy too?”

“Yeah I do. Very much.”

“Are you gonna be my new mommy then?”

There it was. You never imagined being a stepmom, but it just happened to be in the cards for you and Bakugou’s little family. “If you’ll let me be, I’d love to.”

She didn’t answer. Just gave you the biggest hug her little arms could muster. That was answer enough. As you embraced you saw Katsuki’s head peeking from around the corner smiling at you two. You beckoned him over back into the room.

“You’re such a helicopter parent Katsuki.”

“No I’m not.” He huffed and that caught the attention of his princess. She bounded into his arms eyes full of excitement and ideas about family life with you in it.

“Daddy, Y/N is gonna be my new mommy. Is she gonna be your wife? And can she do my hair like hers? You’re not good at braids and she is. And can I be in the wedding? I think we would look cute in the pictures. And me and y/n could match. And she can live here with us! As… as long as I don’t have to share my room.”

You and Katsuki were both laughing at this point. You don’t know how lucky you got to have found a great man, with a great daughter. You also didn’t know where you’d found an eight year old wedding planner, but you sure were grateful for the family that found you.

A/N: ahhhh I’m losing my fucking mind also in this au baby girl’s mother is not around at all. Maybe she died, maybe some other traumatic event ion know. But yeah lil mama doesn’t know her biological mother. Just thought I’d throw that out there

“I love this...” I whispered, arms wrapped around his neck, staring up into Jungkooks face as he rocked his hips against mine , hands stroking my hips gently as the hard length of him dragged inside me , almost gentle as he placed soft kisses on my brow. 

“What? “ he smiled. 

“You inside me... it feels.. i feel complete somehow..” 

He smiled sweetly, kissing the corner of my lips. 

“You’re so warm and wet and I think you’re perfect.” He breathed against my cheeks, pillow soft lips pressing smooches down my jaw and up to my lobe. 

“I liked ...tonight. “I said shyly and he grimaced.

“I may have gone a little overboard..” He said sheepishly, grunting as he thrust a little harder and I closed my eyes , savoring the feeling of him inside me. 

“But I liked it. Liked that I couldn’t even watch the fireworks because of ...well another kind of fireworks..” I laughed.

He grinned.

“ I aim to please.” 

“Good. Then why dont you hurry up and fuck me like you mean it.” I said with a wink and his eyes narrowed, flashing red.

“You never learn, do you angel?” 

I laughed as he pulled out and flipped me over, fingers sinking into hair, hand gripping my waist as he rove straight into me with a force that shook the bed.

“On a scale of one to ten, how mad would your siblings be if you don’t go back to your bed tonight?” Jungkook whispered, burying his face in the slightly damp strands of my hair, breathing deeply before going back to running a small fluffy towel through the strands. 

I stared up at the ceiling , eyes at half mast because I was so sleepy, still pleasantly warm from the hot bath I’d just had . I was dressed in one of Jungkook’s big white t shirts , lying sideways on his bed with my head hanging over the edge because y hair was still wet. Jungkook being the perfect man that he was , was towel drying my wet locks for me. 

“Probably a twenty?” I grimaced. “ I need to be up early to go down to the kitchen. We’re taking the kids out to the park remember?” 

Jungkook groaned.

“Minae needs to be kept away from the sugar ... I am not going to piggy back her for two straight hours like yesterday.” He swore. 

i laughed, rolling over and smiling at him. 

“ She has a crush on you.” I grinned, waggling my eyebrows at him. 

He shook his head laughing. 

“I’m too old to be dealing with four year olds that have a crush on me., “He shuddered. I smiled, shaking my head because , Jungkook was the one who had begun helping out with the children and he was often the first to offer a piggyback ride to the kids. 

Being a single father, I knew he had experience with kids, of course. But still it was quite something watching him handle them with confident hands and a ridiculously kind disposition. And he didn’t shy away from  anything. Changing toddlers out of nappies, cleaning spit up off my office desk , even offering his nails for the smitten Minae to color with her markers.  

And it felt good to have him around, his presence somehow grounding me even during the most hectic of times. Story time with Mr. Jeon,  was fast becoming a thing, with Jungkook gathering all the younglings around him in a circle and regaling them with tales from his life ( a toned down, child friendly version of it of course ) while I set up the beds in the nap room, every afternoon. 

The kids slept for about an hour every afternoon and that was the time we ate our lunch, the workers heading off to the kitchen while Jungkook and I shared a meal cook sent up for us. The small stone bench on the yard was right outside the window of the nap room, and leaving the window open helped us keep an eye on the kids while we ate. 

Not too mention the effect it had on Joo Won. 

Although he spent most of his time with Somi and Jimin in the other cottage , learning his number work and language skills, he occasionally ran up to his father, eager to show off his work. Jungkook always dropped whatever he was doing to shower praises on his son and the boy thrived under the attention. 

The idea that I could do this with him for the rest of my life, was impossible to push out of  my head. 

But i wouldn’t bring it up. 

I would enjoy this , now while I had it and I would wait for him of course but I wasn’t going to play games with him. 

“I’m not meeting anyone else anymore.” I said quietly. 

He gave me a look. 

“anyone as in?..”

“Any vampires. potential suitors” I said with a shrug. “ I’m not going to. I’m going to tell my father I’m... not interested in it anymore.” 

Jungkook stopped his ministrations and gave me a guilty laden look.

“Sera, about tonight-”

“Don’t you dare apologize.” I glared at him. “ I loved it. I love you , as I’ve told you often enough and I also understand that you’re not there yet. and I can wait.”

Jungkook looked away.

“That’s not fair to you.” He said hoarsely.

“Maybe. But it’s still my choice. And My life. And if I choose to spend that life pining over you for the rest of eternity , that’s upto me.” I shrugged. 

He merely stared at me, lips turned down in a frown. 

“You’re too young to understand what you’re asking for Sera. You don’t realize how powerful you are. I’m not... I’m not good enough for you.” He shook his head. “ Far from it.” 

I rolled my eyes. 

“What does that even mean? You’re a vampire. There’s literally nothing that stops us from being together than your twisted belief that you aren’t good enough. Which is so baseless I could laugh. ”

Jungkook stared at me. 

“It’s not just about me. What about the kind of power you would have with the right vampire? not to mention the people in my life that  would want me fucking dead sera? You think everyone would just let it go? Me , a fucking nobody marrying the most adored girl in  our kind???  ” he laughed in disbelief. 

i frowned. 

“What do you mean ?”

Jungkook opened his mouth to elaborate but the door to his bedroom slammed open at that exact same moment and I jumped, terrified. Scrambling to my knees, I crawled back to the headboard just as Jungkook swore, moving to the door , bodychecking the figure that crashed through. 

“JEON FUCKING JUNGKOOK GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER!!!!!” 

I felt my eyes widen in horror as my brother in law launched himself across the room, fingers closing right around Jungkook’s neck as he rammed into him, the two of them skidding across the floor and crashing into the ornate fireplace with a noise loud enough to wake the dead.

I stared, my brain unable to process what I was seeing. 

My sister appeared, eyes wild and panicked.

“Oh God... Sera I’m so sorry...he came to your room and saw you were gone...” she began but then stopped.  

Her eyes fell on the pandemonium in the corner and she yelped. 

“jIMIN!!!!” She screamed, rushing to the corner where the two vampires were locked together in a scuffle and the only thing I could think about was the fact that I was naked underneath his t shirt and if anyone else walked in-

“What is this ruckus?” The loud booming noise was familiar and terrifying and i squeaked, diving for the covers and crawling in as I stared horrified. The figure that appeared in the doorway was so imposing that all of us went still. Even Jungkook’s eyes widened as he took in the gargantuan man framed in the entryway. 

Hwang Jaebum was seven feet tall, 1800 years old and the scariest Vampire i had ever seen in my entire life. His skin was shriveled , his eyes permanently red and he stared at the two fighting vampires , now frozen and gawking at the towering vampire and he scrunched his nose in disgust before his red eyes flashed and landed on me. 

“There you are.” He said softly. “Sweet Seraphina.” 

The name, God.

 My uncle had named me and no one called me that but him. 

I swallowed, clutching the covers as sheer unadulterated terror coursed through my veins. I knew my uncle wouldn’t hurt me but still, power radiated off him in waves and I did not want to be on the receiving end of his displeasure. 

“Come here , child. Let me look at you.” 

I winced. 

Before I could react though, Jungkook was climbing on the bed, scrabbling to kneel right in front of me, arms stretched out to keep me from the vampire’s view. 

“Who the fuck are you?” He snarled and I gasped, stunned. God, Uncle Jae had killed people for less. 

I grabbed Jungkook quickly, pulling him back into my arms and away from the vampire who now looked suitably furious. 

“That’s my uncle. Shut up.” I hissed quickly. Jungkook didn’t show any sign of backing down, still crouched in front of me, muscles locked in a fighting stance and I clutched his shoulders, burying my face in his back. 

“Jungkook relax...” I begged but he merely grabbed my hand where it lay wrapped on his waist, squeezing gently. 

“It’s okay baby, I’m here.” He was still glaring at my uncle who peered over him to lock eyes with me. 

“Who is this? Why are you in his bed, Seraphina? “ My Uncles’ voice rumbled through the room, echoing off the rafters and Jimin and Somi scrambled to their feet. 

“Sire.... We didn’t know you were here already..” Jimin began, moving to stand in front of him but Jaebum ignored him, moving closer to the bed. 

“Who are you? Tell me now.” He snarled. 

I stared at the anger flashing in my uncle’s eyes  and I swallowed. 

“He is her intended, brother.” My father’s voice came from the doorway and i jumped a bit, staring over at the door. 

My father came floating in, face calm but eyes narrowed in annoyance as he stared at me. I found myself wilting under the glare. He was upset, Rightfully so. 

My uncle frowned, glancing at my father in disbelief. 

“She is betrothed?” He frowned. “ Why was I not informed of this?” 

My father gave him a reassuring smile.

“It is fairly new, this courtship. Jungkook and Sera are very fond of each other and they have my blessing.”

Next to me Jungkook had gone as pale as parchment. He moved up and away from me and my entire body went cold. 

I reached for his hand, flinching when he yanked it away.

Fuck.

Fuck. 

“I need to speak to the boy. What is your name boy?” My uncle growled at Jungkook. 

“Jeon Jungkook , sire.:”

He frowned.

“What clan are you from?” 

I flinched.

My father looked a little uncomfortable.

“Surely we can talk about this-”

“I was bitten , Sire.It’s just me and my son, now.” Jungkook’s voice was deep and steady and he stared right at my uncle. 

Uncle Jae’s eyes widened and then he stared at me.

“That is what you will settle for , Seraphina? A mongrel with tainted blood?” 

The sharp sound of hurt that came from Jungkook shattered my heart. 

But it was my father who growled, affronted. 

“That is enough. You are a guest , Jaebum and I will not have you insulting my daughter’s betrothed. Leave him be.”

My uncle laughed.

“It is not an insult. It is a fact...is it not, boy? Look at him... he knows his place. And it not by  her  side.” 

“Jungkook, don’t listen to him ...” i whispered feverishly , reaching for him again not letting him pull away and gripping his fingers hard. His fingers felt icy cold to the touch and there was no mistaking the sheer hurt radiating off his features. 

“Unless the girl is in trouble, I think you should sever the connection, Jaehyun.” My uncle snapped at my father . 

“We shall talk about this later. For now, I want you to remember your place, Jaebum. You have duties to attend to and my daughter’s choice is her own. I will not have you interfering in things that you aren’t responsible for.” My father’s voice was just as loud, radiated just as much authority and i had never loved him more. 

Jaebum scoffed once again before turning on his heel and leaving . I sagged in relief and Jungkook, got off the bed, moving away from me so quickly I felt like someone had stuck a knife in my gut. 

“Jimin and Somi, come. Jungkook , Sera. I want the two of you to come to my office after you fix yourself up.” My father said coldly. 

“Yes, Sir.” Jungkook bowed. 

“Yes,  father.”

“Father....I...”

“You slept with him. “ My father said thoughtfully and I stared at my feet. There was no point denying it. 

“Has he agreed to court you?” He said sharply. 

I looked up at him, biting my lips.

“No.” I whispered.

My father’s eyes widened and he shot me a glare that could melt gold. 

“He fed from you during the act?” He demanded. I felt the phantom throb in my thighs at the memory. 

“Yes, father. “ I admitted.

“Then I must ask. Was it consensual?  Did you influence him in any way Seraphina.” 

My heart turned over, tears springing at the accusation. 

“No... No .. I didn’t.. he doesn’t know.. he doesn’t even know I can do that.” I whispered. 

“Could you have done it unconsciously? If Jungkook fed from you and you were near him you could have convinced him to do anything. He wouldn’t have been able to consent. You know this, Sera. I don’t understand how you could be so reckless. We are not monsters. We know our limits and we stick to them for fuck’s sake.” 

“He... we... I... It’s my fault. He didn’t.. He didn’t want to court me so I convinced him we could just...fool around. That was all it was. He loves his son father. He’s only here to give him a better life. I’m sorry.. I’m so sorry for being so selfish and ..Please just don’t send him away. I’ll never meet him again if that’s what you want but please....don’t send him away. .” I stared at my father, feeling the tears sting. 

My father’s gaze softened but he sighed, shaking his head as he held his arm out. I walked into his embrace, letting the tears fall as I clutched his robe. 

“You have not been selfish, dearest. . But, no matter who are, we cannot covet what we are never meant to have . Jungkook is not for you.” He whispered into my hair and I felt my insides clench in rebellion, every part of me screaming in protest at the phrase. 

No.. No... he was mine.. he had to be mine....

I was his and he was mine.

“ I’m going to offer him the position as head of the security team.” My father aid gently and I shuddered. 

“Father..”

“It will pay well. He will be working from the administrative building close to me. . There’s no reason for your paths to cross. Namjoon will take over as your bodyguard from tomorrow.” 

i nodded. 

“I want you to remember who you are. What you are capable of. I raised you to be kind and gentle but that does not change who you are, Sera. It doesn’t change what you are.” he said gently, eyes firm. 

I swallowed.

“You may leave.”

Jungkook stared at the whiskey decanter on the table. watching Sera’s father pour him a drink. His eyes focused on the golden liquid, the way it caught the light and danced with all the colors of autumn. 

“I’m going to ask you one thing. I want you to answer me, as truth fully as you would your own father.” 

Jungkook was a father, himself. He knew the anger and trepidation in the man’s gaze was real. He knew exactly what it felt like, that desperate clawing need to keep your child safe. To destroy anything that dare hurt them. 

“Do you love my daughter?” The man’s voice shook a little. 

“I cannot court her.” He whispered. “ I’m not... I can’t. “

“That is not what i asked .” The older man said gently. 

He shook his head.

“I don’t have the right to feel anything but respect for her, sir.” Jungkook said softly. 

The vampire shook his head laughing.

“Your eyes tell me all you refuse to say, Jungkook ah. You care deeply for her, do you not?  it is obvious in the tremble of your hand. it was obvious in the way you stood up to my brother, when surely everything in your blood must’ve screamed to back away from a Vampire of such a high ranking. ” 

Jungkook clenched his fists. 

Sera’s father went on. 

“I know you love her and honestly, If you didn’t.... you wouldn’t be alive right now.” 

Jungkook winced. 

“Yes , sir.” He croaked. 

“I will destroy entire continents for my daughter. You know this. “ He said quietly. 

Jungkook nodded. He believed the man . 

“Which is why I must ask. Who is after you?”

Jungkook’s eyes snapped up, eyes widening in surprise. 

“Sir...”

“I’m not the head of the largest clan in the country for nothing. You are protecting your son...but from what? A man of your reputation , choosing to stay inside an estate , helping out with infants and children.... it doesn’t make sense. So tell me. What are you hiding from? And how can I help?” 

Jungkook stared at his hands. 

“It’s Joowon’s grandfather. The man who’s daughter I killed.” 

Sera’s father stiffened. 

“Ahh... yes. Gong Tae Kwan. An old nemesis .” He shook his head, sighing. “ You’ve made a powerful enemy , Jungkook.”

Jungkook nodded.

“I know. I’m no match for him. And I know he’s  not going to stop until he kills me and my son.” 

“You’re right. He’s not going to stop. Now, what so you want to do? Hide out till he finally catches up or confront him like the warrior you are?” 

“i can’t do it. I need to be here for Joo Won.... It would be suicidal...”

“ Only if you’re alone. “

“Sir?”

“It would be suicidal , if you were to confront him alone.” 

“Are you saying that...”

“I’m going to be there with you. We are going to lure the bastard out , and we are going to end this once and for all.”

“Sir, i can’t ask you to...”

“You’re not asking me damn thing kid. I’m doing this for my daughter’s sake. And you are going to repay me by making her as happy as you possibly can.” He said sternly. 

Jungkook flushed

“Sir.. I’m sorry I...”

“When this ends, and it will....you will court her. You will court her, because unlike what you think, you do not get to decide whether you’re worthy of being my daughter’s consort. She does.” He gave him a smile, reaching out and clamping a hand on his shoulder. “  If she chooses you it means you’re worthy. And she has chosen you , Jeon Jungkook . Don’t be the idiot who walks away from the best thing to ever happen to him, son. ” 

Jungkook stared at him.

He took a deep breath. 

“Yes, father.” He said with a small smile. 

The older man laughed out loud. 

“Excellent. Now come, we have a murder to plot. “
