Fire Force: Company 8 Men (When You’re On Your Period)

Category: Fluff, Slight Angst (If You Squint)

Warnings: Mentions of Bleeding, Nudity (Non-Sexual; Obi’s Part Only)

Shinra Kusakabe

Doesn’t know what to do at first tbh.

He panics when you tell him about your “monthly visitor” is making you bleed profusely, but calms down when he realizes it’s just menstruation.

Fumbles around, trying to get you the pad/tampon size you asked for…only to come back with all of them.

“I-I didn’t know which one to get,” he says as he looks down at his feet.

You reassure him that it’s okay, and you appreciate the gesture.

Don’t worry. He’ll become more prepared over time.

Arthur Boyle

Oh boy.

He’s confused as h*ck. How can you be bleeding and not die?

He wasn’t really educated about these things, having been abandoned by his parents.

Blushes hard when you explain it all to him (he’ll still be confused and in shock for a little while before calming down).

Is on guard for you, 24/7.

“How can I assist you in defeating this red demon?” he bellows dramatically.

You can’t help but burst into laughter as you hug him tightly.

He’s very forgetful about what to do, but he’ll will try his best to help and support you.

Vulcan Joseph

After living with Lisa, he’s got period prep down to a T.

Need a heating pad? He’s already got it. Water? There’s a bottle already in your hand. Favorite music? Done. He’s got you, bb.

Turns into the biggest softie when you’re having a bad day (cramping, breaking out, bleeding through, etc).

“I got you some Midol, baby,” he murmurs as he rubs your sides, adjusting the heat pack to the best position that makes your cramps melt away.

TL;DR: Vulcan has experience and he knows how to use it.

Viktor Licht

Tall gremlin man.

He knows what a period is…he’s just not familiar with how to help someone who’s on their period.

He’ll ask you if you need anything, trying to be casual about it (but still kind of awkward).

Viktor will research (aka Google) for days about what to do when a significant other is menstruating.

He learns very quickly, both from being with you and his “research”, and becomes a pro in no time.

“I got you your (favorite candy), some tampons, and some pain meds. Oh, I also put on (favorite movie),” he says before placing a gentle kiss on your forehead.

Takehisa Hinawa

(This man scares the crap out of me ngl).

He’ll keep his usual straight face when you tell him you’re on your period.

Hinawa will then promptly go to the store and get everything you requested.

His forte is getting what you need. Comforting you on the other hand…

“It’s a cramp. Just take some medicine,” he tells you, thinking that he’s giving you some light at the end of the tunnel.😬😬😬

He quickly learns that being blunt isn’t always the best way to comfort someone.

He’s better than Arthur, but not as great as Vulcan. Hinawa is probably somewhere in-between (but he can get better, as long as you tell him how to emotionally support you just as well as he physically supports you).

Akitaru Obi

This tank of a man will drop everything and run to your place when you tell him you’re having terrible cramps and can’t get out of bed.

He’ll rush in and draw you a bath (if that’s your thing), making sure to gently place you into the tub while massaging any muscles that ache.

Obi will spoil you so, so much. He’ll treat you like the queen you are.

However, he won’t always get you unhealthy food you ask for. He wants his baby to be healthy and hydrated.

“I know it’s not chocolate, but strawberries can be just as romantic,” he insists with his big, goofy smile and a wink.

Obi’s just a big teddy bear. Even if you don’t feel beautiful, dealing with cramps, bloating, and break-outs, he’ll praise and encourage you until those negative thoughts go away.

He’s always down for snuggling if you ask him to, holding you close to his warm body as you fall asleep in his arms.

(Please marry this man).

Hikage and Hinata are a duo so upredictable its entertaining. Those two love to pull pranks on the 8th whenever they visit or send Shinra and Authur to train with Benimaru. More often than not they try dragging you into their shenanigans, and more often than not you do go with them. I mean wheres the harm in doing so? There was one time where you three were going to put extra salt in the boys portions of food but Konro caught the three of you before you could. Hikage and Hina did not hesitate to throw you under the bus and make a break for it. Konro chuckles knowing it wasn't your idea previously hearing the twins talk about it earlier in the day and wanting to have you join. He lets you off the hook and just says don't let him hear the plans next time.

Speaking of Konro, he gives the best hugs. I stand by that and will die on that hill. It doesn't matter if you're having a bad day or not, if you need a hug, he's your guy. We love a big strong man with a heart of gold but looks like a gangster.

Obi is the best work out partner ever. He's always making sure you're not pushing yourself too hard and will treat you to ramen afterwards. But if he ever catches you slacking... Extra reps, no hesitation and no deals with him.

Vulcan loves horror movies and isn't really phased by them at all. He loves a good plot and will often invite the others to watch them with him. If he knows you enjoy watching them as well, he stops inviting you and expects you to be in his room with a bowl of popcorn and a few water bottles. If you don't enjoy them however, he will make exceptions for movie nights and lets you choose just to see you smile.

Viktor knows he has his moments where he geeks out more than usual but appreciates how you show genuine interest in his hobbies and work. He always calls you to watch and participate in his experiments, of course keeping you safe. "Y/n, Vulcan and I are going to test out this new experiment, wannna watch?" He loves watching your face light up in pure amusement the way a childs face would.

Its easy to win bets that involve alcohol when against Benimaru. His surprising light weighted nature fails him when you challenge him. He doesn't care though, he sees how happy you get when he accepts the callenge and fights a smile from appearing on his face. But all it takes is one more drink than Beni for you to get drunk, and then Konro is the one having to deal with your drunk shenanigans and putting you two to sleep.

it's been a while since I've done a headcanons post so here's some of my own sexuality headcanons for some Royal Tutor characters that I've been thinking of sharing for a while

Hetero or possibly comphet. He's always bragging about being popular with the ladies but as the series goes on there's really not much to back up this claim. I once saw a headcanon that he might have had a little bit of a crush on Maximilian from back when they were living in town. It's not a headcanon I share but I thought that was interesting

🧡Leonhard🧡

I don't know and he probably also doesn't know. Maybe he'll figure it out one day, but it's not important to him right now. He'll like who he likes, it doesn't matter as long as they get along and can have fun together. If I were to give a label I think aromantic pan demisexual could fit

💛Bruno💛

Similar to Leonhard, I don't know and I think he has not stopped to consider it because he's too occupied with other things. He'll probably like someone who shares his academic interests, and he probably thinks it's a given that he'd marry a princess for practical diplomatic reasons. I like the idea of him developing some sort of relationship with Smerdyakov but I'm not sure how old he is so I haven't given it much thought. I'm not sure if sapiosexual (or sapioromantic??) is an ok thing to call him, so if I were to give a label I like greyromantic demisexual

💚Kai💚

Aroace with strong aesthetic and sensual attraction to any gender. I'm not sure if this makes him very compatible with Beatrix's expectations (and I think she also might be comphet) but I think they would be quite understanding of each other and able to work something out

I think he also hasn't given it much thought because he's always just assumed he would marry a princess and that's the set path for him in life. But Princess Matilda meant a lot to him after he got to know her, so I think he could be demi hetero

Definitely definitely gay for Eins I could almost say this is canon and the tragedy is delicious

I find it funny to think what if he was straight and just has no time to date, but I also like to think that he and his bartender/manager friend Herman Koenig have something going on, and he did seem very focused on Viktor's looks the first time they met. Actually I have no headcanons for this I just wanted to put this here

Demiromantic gay ace (possibly greysexual) with strong aesthetic attraction regardless of gender. Maybe this isn't super related but I also headcanon that his favourite thing to read during his free time is girl-meets-guy romance novels varying from the cheesy type to Jane Austen. I also like the idea that he's trans but I'm not sure if I would call it a headcanon for me

These are just my headcanons for fiction, based on what I can remember about the characters right now and I feel like I've forgotten a lot, so they can change any time and for any reason, and also sometimes I have multiple different headcanons existing at the same time

I'm probably also projecting somewhat and I'm not super well versed in all the ways we can identify, so I'm curious to know if anyone else also shares these headcanons. I've seen some pretty nice ones out there, let me know what's yours!

Note

One thing that is a bit funny is how a lot of charachters/plot elements/plot points I before only read about from second hand sources were actually a lot less impresive or significant once I actually read fire force. Like the whole chinese island with talking animals felt kinda like a nothing burger, or Amaterasu being trapped in a reactor or Iris being a doppelganger or Benimaru causing the moon to apear, or Shinra being possed, even Joker and Lichts antihero shtick etc...

I’m going to go in a number of directions, so let me summarize some points to quickly answer your questions, before going into more detail below:

Ohkubo is better at just making visually appealing art than actually progressing character development and making a good plot.

The Chinese peninsula arc is harmed by the stupidity of firefighters, whose job is to literally wear masks to not breathe in dangerous fumes, instead going maskless and breathing in dangerous fumes. It’s not even treated as irony, it’s just dumb.

The talking animals thing was to set up Fire Force as a prequel for why Blair exists in Soul Eater.

The doppelganger shit makes no sense. It is just Ohkubo’s immature response to how religious beliefs are full of paradoxes (“Can God make a rock so big even They can’t lift ti? Yes--then they lift it”)...

…Which is why we have Benimaru and the Moon thing: it’s Ohkubo writing his own creation story, in other words, his own religion.

Viktor needed a stronger back story--and the headcanon is right there, he was a grad student, it writes itself, no wonder he turned out like this.

It’s almost like Ohkubo’s original art posts on the shitty bird app get attention for being innovative designs, while the plotting falls apart.

(This is one reason enough readers have wondered what it would be like if he just did the art for someone else’s story…and now we get what looks like a lackluster anime doing just that, so, monkey’s paw problem.)

I forgot to bring this up: I think the talking animals thing was more foreshadowing of this being a Soul Eater prequel, reinforcing my assumption that the earliest Ohkubo would have decided on the “prequel route” was this Chinese peninsula arc. Shinra and the others are shocked to see talking animals--so by the time of Soul Eater, Blair is just yet another one of these talking animals running around…

…But that has its own problems. First, Schop and the others were mostly not that cartoonish. Second, it’s just as likely talking animals became more of a thing because Shinra had zero knowledge of world history and just made shit up. Finally, even Soul, Maka, and Lord Death were surprised to see a talking cat, and Blair was the only talking animal in the series. (Yes, witches had talking animal forms, but canon didn’t really emphasize that Arachne was indeed a spider, Eruka was indeed a frog, Kim was indeed a tanuki, and so on.)

The Chinese peninsula arc also just pissed me off in general: for the sake of dumb gags, even a teacher like Pan refuses to listen to wear a mask to avoid getting the effects of what he breathed in. I’m not saying that lets the students off the hook, but Viktor warned these dumbasses, and for zero reason given, none of them believe him. THEY ARE FIREFIGHTERS, they know breathing in fumes is a bad thing, yet they didn’t wear a mask?

(No wonder the United States and so much of the world has a COVID problem: no one in this real world wears a fucking mask, none of these fictional characters wears a fucking mask.)

As for the doppelganger crap: it made no sense.

A doppelganger is how the world views a person--those are the rules within Fire Force. Someone is a pyrokinetic in full control of their faculties and flame abilities if they and their doppel are one in the same, e.g. they merge and the result is a non-Infernal, all because who they are and how people look at them is exactly the same…

…But we know that isn’t the case. Shinra is nothing like what people thought of him--yet he is not only a pyrokinetic, and not only a Pillar, but is freaking Fire Jesus. (Unless Sho is Fire Jesus--and even that makes no sense, since no one knows Sho outside of the Clads, so how would there be a popular conception of him to begin with?)

The excuse the story goes with is that, once the physics are getting weirder and weirder, that is when the rules bend enough to allow for the doppel rule to no longer apply, hence why pyrokinetics like Joker and Kurono now have to fight their own doppels--because rule of cool, this is the final arc, break the rules, just make some action scenes.

I get the argument that, if a better explanation doesn’t make you enjoy it more, then any explanation won’t matter, and that seems to be Ohkubo’s rationale: if I’m complaining that it doesn’t make sense, then I’m just the Yuu of this story and can be ignored, like ignoring how Arthur’s family stuff makes no sense. But that weak explanation doesn’t excuse bad writing--and this is just bad, and it distracts from any cool factor to the fights or the art.

See also the problem of Mari and Iris’s existence: how can Mari be the doppel of the Evangelist when the Evangelist existed for so long already, and how can Iris be the doppel of Amaterasu? What, Iris existed in Adora, then was chucked out into the “real” world? And if that’s the case, then how could Mari exist as an Infernal, and Iris get pryokinetic abilities, unless their others--the Evangelist and Amaterasu--merged with them, but they didn’t, because they never did merge?!

And that leads to the Moon and Benimaru problem: the doppel thing is just a paradox, as a lot of religions have them, and you are to shrug and just ignore it. That is Ohkubo’s excuse for shit that fails in his story: he is doing a satire of religion, and fuck you for poking holes in his story, it’s all satire, he doesn’t have to answer for bad storytelling, because even my agnostic ass am tired of his anti-religion shtick.

Hence why Benimaru doing that to the Moon just is the thing that happens: it happened because it is a creation story. Maybe it’s my perspective as a white person in the United States, as I’m not in the context of certain belief systems to give an insider’s point of view about them--but usually, when I read a creation narrative, I can understand enough about how they got to that idea (Egyptian stories about the dung beetle’s association with the sun, because it pushes a big ball of dung; stories of animals diving down into the water to scoop up mud to form the first islands on the planet; and so on).

What is there to “Benimaru kicked the Moon really hard and it turned into that face”? Does it resemble his adoptive dad? There’s nothing here to solidify why this creation story should work--so, it just comes off as a crass attempt to link this to Soul Eater and disrupt much better headcanon most fans probably had.

(Spoiler for something a friend and I are working on, but if it was me, re-writing this? You don’t have Benimaru kick the Moon. You have a Mirko-like character kick the Moon. Give me a character with flame-powered leg hops, powerful kicks, and a rabbit motif--boom, rabbit, Japan, Moon, that works. What the hell does Benimaru have to do with the Moon? And no, naming his moves after the Moon doesn’t count.)

Some of this is headcanon on my part in discussions with a friend, but why not give some back story to Viktor? He was a grad student, he was pursuing research: maybe it’s my own experiences, but that is fraught with story potential. Viktor goes to work at Haijima to keep funding his research--even as he suspects their part in spontaneous human combustion. Maybe he lost parents and wanted to figure out what killed them--or, to avoid more and more “dead family” tropes, maybe he isn’t close to family, not helped by running off to do research instead of a “real job.”

I really enjoyed Joker--by the time we got his back story. When it’s “the Joker but he’s also Batman,” that is the best characterization he got. Too bad his post-story life is hanging out with a boring sod like Burns.

after that he was the only one who heard you talk really, he would also keep that moment to himself

wouldn’t mind it at all, he barley likes talking himself so he would enjoy the comfortable silence held between the both of you

whenever you two do talk it seems to be one sided from a far but what they don’t see is you scribbling down your thoughts furiously

when the both of you go in public he would often speak for you, since he knows you so well he practically knows what you’re thinking

learned sign language so you could stop scribbling because he thought it was starting to irritate you, the very first thing he signed to you was “i love you”

when you saw it you hugged him tighter than ever before

I don’t think I do headcanons right 😂 I always do these and then just wing it lmao hope you like it!

I was thinking maybe writing this as how you first kissed them all, because I love that lead up moment,.... but instead I went with the kinds of kisses these men would like.

Headcanons of kisses I think they would like!

Viktor -

This man.

I feel like he loves to kiss your temple.

If he is sitting by you at dinner he’ll give you a soft peck there, loving the way it would make your cheeks flush.

Or he’d kiss your temple as he pulls you into a hug, his lanky arms comforting and warm as they hold you close.

and the inside of your wrist!

When he’s laying between your legs, his head on your chest.

He’d bring your wrist to his lips, his lips feathering across your skin. It makes him feel soft, safe, to be be holding each other like that.

And omg he loves to guess your lipgloss or chapstick flavor.

Loves to pretend he doesn’t know what it is and go back for seconds or thirds before he properly guesses.

Loves the soft feeling that lingers on his lips even after you part.

Loves buying you special new flavors.

And he loves to just pull you in close and cup your cheeks, softly brushing his lips across yours to feel how soft your lips on on his.

Hinawa-

He’s not one for PDA at work but only when others are around.

It’s led to you both playing a sort of game where you see who can kiss who last.

So far you’re winning with the last kiss being to his jaw right before Obi came into his office.

Unseen and with Hinawa being unable to get you back.

Now all you have to do is make it to the end of the work day without him getting a kiss back and then you’ll win.

You’ll win for the first time since this game started months ago.

“Does my kitten think they won?” His voice low by your ear sends goosebumps down your spine as you hold in a moan.

You turn around and smile up at him, watching his movements so you could dodge if you needed to “so far I am winning, with only what? Ten minutes left in the work day?” you say with a smirk

before he can get a kiss in you’re dropping to a crouch, spinning underneath his arm and popping into the next room where you knew Arthur and Shinra were.

“Tsk tsk” he clicked with his tongue behind you, grabbing your hand and pulling you back through the doorway into the empty hall.

“Not so fast kitten” he whispers in your ear and you groan, no way to get out of this one “I was so close this time” you whisper as he begins to pepper soft kisses across your neck

“maybe next time” he mumbles into your skin and you sigh, running your fingers through the hair that’s sticking out the side of his hat.

“although I can’t really complain, losing isn’t really all that bad if I do say so myself. You wouldn’t know tho, since you always win. Too bad for you” you chuckle softly

And his grip tightens on your waist “is that so? I’ll just take your word for it” he pulls back then and bops your nose before he steps away, sounds of footsteps coming down the hall

“that’s another win for me” he smirks and you roll your eyes “just wait until we get back to our room, I’ve got a special trick up my sleeve” you whisper into his ear and then quickly press forward, placing your lips softly against his neck underneath his ear.

You giggle at the strangled moan that comes from his throat, your words making his skin tingle before you step away just as Maki appears around the corner. You look down at your watch “just barely made it” you hold it up so he watches the hands move the last few seconds.

I can also see him liking to get tastes of things from your lips.

“you need to try the icecream it’s my favorite” you take a big lick and then he’s leans down closer

“if you insist” and he kisses you, his tongue sweeping yours slowly before he pulls back “it’s delicious” he’d say, failing to hide the soft smile on his lips

Oh and when he walks up to you and cups your cheek softly as you smile up at him, watching your cheeks flush as he moves his hand down to your chin to pull it up as he leans down to kiss you, makes his heart race the way you light up and how relaxed you are in his hand.

Vulcan-

He loves the little kisses that can make any moment special, but not necessarily sexy.

Romantic and sweet.

He loves to kiss your nose, every time you part it’s his way of saying goodbye.

He loves when he crawls into bed with you after a really hard day and you rub your nose against his softly with your eyes closed.

he’d sometimes bring his face close to yours with a small smile, waiting for you.

You’d smile and bring your face close, brushing his nose with yours before kissing his lips softly.

Just whenever he needed a little bit of affection he’d place his face close to yours and you’d know.

He feels so secure with those small acts of your love.

And when you get excited and jump into his arms and kiss his face quickly all over while he laughs, he loves that too.

VIKTOR always found himself looking at you, it didn’t matter how many times you caught him staring at you this mf would never stop it. It was Friday when you decided to wear that beautiful dress that he bought for you. Everything was alright until you zipped the back. You stared at yourself in the mirror, the front part of the dress was a little too big, specifically the breast part. they aren’t even that big, i think that a hoddie would be better. changing your clothes for ones who were more comfortable you went to his lab, where probably he would be investigating the human combustion again.

When Viktor saw you entering he felt something in his chest, even though that you gave him your brightest smile to him somehow he saw that the spark in your eyes weren’t there. He wanted to ask you, but when he did you brushed it off.

“I know that sometimes it’s quite difficult to me to notice other people’s feelings, but not with you, so if there’s something wrong tell me” he said while taking your hand “I want to help you”

When you told him about the dress incident he looked at you surprised his lips forming an ooh. “Before you say anything, I want to apologize, the thing is that when I bought that dress I thought that it was your size, but when I got home I saw that I picked the wrong one” he said while looking away blushed.

“But you like women with large breast” you said looking at him “Oh that! Yes I like breasts but yours are more amazing than any breast that I’ve seen in my life” Viktor said smiling at you “because I love you how you are and I would never change you for anyone”

And I'm glad you enjoyed them! Also, I had no idea what to do for a plot, so I decided to do this again seeing as how I had a lot of fun with Joker's.

VIKTOR LICHT FLUFF ALPHABET

A- Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?)

He definitely admires that you don't judge him for anything. You completely understand that he's devoted to his mission (and you of course, but you didn't hear that from me) and you understand why he does what he does, and he absolutely adores it.

B- Baby (Do they want a family? Why or why not?)

In truth, I don't think he thinks about having a family much. He most definitely wouldn't mind having one in the long run (especially with you), but you'd have to be the one to bring it up.

C- Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)

Viktor loves spooning. By the time he goes to bed, you're usually asleep, so he crashes into bed next to you and pulls your back to his chest and he just sort of curling you because he's that tall. It's quite comfortable for the both of you.

D- Dates (What are dates with them like?)

It takes Viktor awhile to get used to the idea of dates. His idea of a date was just two people spending time together. So for awhile, you two just sat in his office while he worked. Then he did some research (watched some romance movies with maki and iris; he r e a l l y liked The Proposal) and decided to take you out on a proper date.

This being said, dates with Viktor are usually a spur of the moment thing and happen when you both have time, but they almost always open you up to a new experience and they're always fun. Sometimes you do something crazy like going to a casino for no reason and sometimes you do something peaceful like just walking around the city and sight-seeing and window shopping and all that cool jazz.

E- Everything (You are my ___; e.g. my life, my world)

"You are my reason for everything. You remind me everyday why I do what I do. Thank you."

F- Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)

It was just after Company 8 finished an Infernal. You had slipped away from the rest of the group and Viktor, being the curious boi he is, went after you. He found you comforting a crying child.

It turns out that the kid's parent had been the one to turn Infernal, and you refused to leave their side until they we laughing and smiling again.

Something about that made his heart melt.

He had no idea what was going on and later googled his symptoms (after consulting any sort of reliable medical book/website he could find) and nearly had a heart attack when he found out what it was.

G- Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how so?)

Viktor isn't really a rough man. It's just his nature (I want to make fun of him for being a pacifist, but I can't because I'm one D:<).

Anyways, he isn't overly gentle with you either. He knows that you're more than capable of handling certain things by yourself and he's happy to let you do those things, but if he sees you struggling, he won't hesitate to help you out.

H- Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)

He's very fond of linking pinkies. He's not a fan of PDA, but that doesn't make him uncomfortable and he likes holding you in some way. Though if he gets jealous, he wraps an arm around your waist (more on that later though).

I- Impression (What was their first impression?)

Well, since you are a part of the Fire Force (sorry to just assign you a role like this) he naturally thought you were a bit reckless, running into fires like that, but he can't really judge since he kinda did the same thing.

J- Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)

Oh, he does. He's much better at hiding it than Joker. Licht is very rarely intimidating, and the man cannot glare to save his life. A telltale sign that he's jealous is that he gets more affectionate in front of others. He'll wrap his arm around your waist and pull your back into his chest while resting his chin on the top of your head.

K- Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)

Even though they're an expression of friendship, he adores eskimo kisses (when he can bend down to your height) or he likes gently kissing the top of your forehead.

Even though kisses with Licht are usually short-lived, they always communicate how much you mean to him and the words that he so often can't find to say himself.

You 100% had to initiate the first kiss. He was staying up late to work on something and you had to go to sleep or else you'd pass out on the floor so in your tired stupor you gave him a quick good-night peck to the lips.

He did not get any work done the rest of the night.

L- Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)

Surprisingly??? Viktor.

Just before he goes to the Haijima lab with Shinra (i'm waiting on the dub, but i sWEAR IF THEY KILL HIM-), you run up to him and kiss him.

"I swear to Sol, Licht, if you die there, I'm gonna kill you. I love you too much to loose you."

Shinra probably had to slap him cause Viktor.exe had crashed.

M- Memory (What’s their favorite memory together?)

You and him were watching the Sound of Music, and you, being a dork, pulled him to his feet and started dancing around the room with him. Both of you fell back on your bed, laughing like a couple of idiots.

N- Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?)

Sometimes. He buys you stuff a lot, and sometimes if he's out in town and he sees something he knows that you'd like, he'll 100% get it for you. He loves seeing you happy and he's more than willing to spare a dollar or two to see you smile.

O- Orange (What color reminds them of their other half?)

Red. The first time you two had a proper conversation, you had accidentally cut your finger while cutting up something for dinner. He offered to help you after he saw you cursing yourself and wrapping your injured finger in a bandage.

P- Pet Names (What pet names do they use?)

I feel like Viktor isn't big on pet names but he sometimes calls you 'love'.

Q- Quaint (What is their favorite non-modern thing?)

Okay so, this is gonna sound weird, but he has a genuine fountain pen that belonged to some famous writer. He's quite proud of it.

R- Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?)

He loves to work on rainy days. He loves it if you sit there and watch him or if you sit in his lap. If you manage to drag him away, he'll do anything with you. Sometimes, just for the heck of it, he takes you outside and you two just walk around with an umbrella shielding you from becoming drenched.

S- Sad (How do they cheer themselves/others up?)

Viktor just stirs his problems into coffee. He has no idea how to solve his own problems, so he has no idea what he's doing if he comforts you. He usually just lets you cry and rant and scream until you feel better. He'll hold you in his lap if you want. He has no idea what to do, please help him.

T- Talking (What do they like to talk about?)

Viktor will gladly talk about his research or if you manage to get him to watch something with you, he'll geek out about that with you. It's so cute watching him freak out about the ending to Rogue One, it isn't even funny.

U- Unencumbered (What helps them relax?)

A nice, hot cup of coffee or tea and you

V- Vaunt (What do they like to show off?)

His fountain pen, you, sometimes his research

W- Wedding (Where, when, and how do they propose?)

It takes him awhile to even consider marriage. Honestly? It takes him long enough that you propose!

It was on a leap day, since that's traditionally the day a woman can propose, you had a nice ring in your back pocket. You tried seven times in one day to propose, but every time you got ready to pop the question, something would come along and you had to wait a minute.

Eventually you just got fed up with going through reports so you asked Licht then. He thought you were kidding when he said yes, but then you chucked a box and his head and he'd never been more happy for a mix-up in his life.

X- Xylophone (What’s their song?)

I know it doesn't ask for a relationship song, but the only song coming to mind right now is The Reason by Hoobastank.

Y- Yes (Do they ever think of getting married/proposing?)

As I said before, he doesn't really think about it until after you get engaged. After that though, he admires the ring with a smile as he counts down the days until you're married.

Z- Zebra (If they wanted a pet, what would they get?)

Well, animals are uncommon, but once Vulcan showed him a picture of a gerbil. He has no idea what it is, but he wants one.

He would always be there for you, even if you royally fucked up.

It didn’t matter what time but if you called him and said that you needed him, he would come over in a heartbeat.

Sometimes he did get a bit clingy though.

If you had plans with someone else, Shinra would get a tad bit jealous and pout.

“How dare you go watch Avengers: Endgame with someone else. I’m hurt.”

Your longest fight lasted a week. You weren’t talking with each other but you still texted.

If Shinra was at fault he would buy you a sundae as an apology.

Shinra didn’t like it when you went on dates, he was scared that they would break your heart. But if they did Shinra was there for you.

Shinra could read you like a book. So he could tell if you were in a bad mood or not and act accordingly.

On rough days were you almost on the verge of tears Shinra would make the stupidest face expressions ever to make you laugh.

If anyone dared to mess with you Shinra would threaten them to a point that they never could look you in the eye again.

Even during a busy week Shinra always made time for you.

Viktor would joke that you were a nuisance but he cared for you.

he’s a very busy man so it always makes his heart skip a beat when you do some of his tasks for him

when he’s on his way to service the vehicles or clean up and he see’s that it’s already done he smiles knowing that you beat him to it to lighten his load

it no secret that she’s a lil insecure about her muscles, so she likes it when you complement them on join her in on her workouts

she loves it when you hug her and kiss her cheek, or when you walk around carrying her bridal styling treating her like a princess, she especially loves when you kiss her muscles while hugging her it makes her feel happy and more secure about her body

iris: receiving gifts and quality time
