Mitsuya was quite hard to court. At least it felt hard.

Mitsuya always played hard to get, pretending to be uninterested in your gifts but secretly enjoying them quite a lot.

You spent the first few weeks trying to figure out what he liked. He almost refused to make it easy for you. You had to earn this information.

You started to get into sewing. Nothing big, just tiny plush toys and the occasional article of clothing. Mitsuya seemed to really enjoy the effort you put into making them, though he rarely showed it.

A little secret joy he liked was jewelry. Earrings and bracelets were the best option.

Shopping dates were perfect for Mitsuya. Shopping for clothes and looking for fabrics to create his own. Silk, yarn and cotton fabric were his favorite.

He likes it when you help him out. Helping chose designs and helping out with the sewing.

Spending time with him in a quiet place [park, classroom after school] is nice. It gives you two time to talk and get to know each other. Side note: he always holds your hand when you sit together. It was a purely platonic action until it wasn't...

Long walks in the park at night with nothing but the moon lighting your path, he absolutely loves it.

Passing by the rows of overly decorated lockers I scramble to reach the wall, hoping to dear God that I don't accidentally bump into someone on the way. My hands grasp onto a door handle, and my tail wags as I pull myself out of the lunch rush smacking into the wall with a resounding thud. My petite figure collapses to the ground, as I am so fragile and frail that of course I would be flung onto my back with such ease. Feeling the piercing eyes of passerbys urks me, sitting up slowly I try not to attract anymore unwanted attention to myself.

"Ah- ow," I rub my back, a small stinging pain makes me wince in the process "that was close." I sigh, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding. If only I hadn't been so clumsy, maybe I wouldn't be in this mess. I feel tears prick the corners of my baby blue, aqua marine, sapphire bedazzled azure orbs. I glance down at my shaky hands, as pale and as white as snow, I could reflect the sun if it weren't- well if it weren't for my secret.

"[Y/N]?" A charming voice pipes up behind me with a sense of concern. I whip my head around to look at the prince like figure, standing at 6'5" towering over my cowardly 5'5" self. Everyone whispers and murmurs behind her, I can't blame them, they're probably in shock - how could their student body president be friends with a wimp like me. "I missed you [Y/N]! How are you?" Her calm voice is so soothing, I want to squel in response, but my reputation as the edgiest, most emo kid at this school would be ruined. Jeremia let's out a hearty laugh, I bite back the urge to get on one knee and propose. Pulling back out of what was basically me hanging from her neck I nod "I'm great now that you're here Jelly." My grin is convincing enough for her to grab my hand and drag me to our next class.

I want to tell Jelly how sorry I am I basically ghosted her for two months, but our English professor groaning on about Romeo and Juliet is getting in the way. I sit restlessly tapping my foot against the steel ground, looking longingly out of the window. I could never let Jelly know my secret, she'd try and help me. But she's no match for the Godling Alpha Predator Supreme, even with her rippling biceps and highly defined abbs the Godling Alpha Predator Supreme would crush her with a simple wink. I return to reality feeling a pen poke my back, I look over my shoulder with an irritated expression. "What do you want Kyle?" Headphones around his neck and a hoodie over his school uniform, his neck length black hair fizzles out a bit as he refuses to comb it despite my insistence "Sup. Guess you are alive, dam." His sarcastic tone annoys me as I grumble and turn back to face forward "Look I'm not in the mood right now." Even though I've only known him for like a year now, Kyle has become one of my closest friends. I just hope he understands my distance is to protect him from the dangers of this world.

"Fuck, alright then." Kyle shrugged returning to his computer quickly forgetting I was even here.

The bell rings surprisingly early, I raise a brow at the quickness while checking the time "T-th th th thre- three pm?" My quirky stutter gets in the way of my sentence and effectively concerns Kyle who had already packed up "The hell is wrong with you?" I can tell he's worried by the furrow of his brow, he's probably just too tsundere to properly word it. "I-I I'm fine don't worry about it." I turn my head away, something is wrong, how could time pass so quickly without me even noticing. I swear it was just two pm a few minutes ago. Kyle is still standing to the side- I look at see that he's already gone.

One of my classmates notice my shock and rolls their eyes "Kyle said something like, 'Not what I asked.' and then left." I must have not noticed how truly worried he was. From the back of the room Jeremia comes up and waves at our classmate who instantly shrinks back in what I presume is admiration.

"Mr.[L/N] I need to talk to you for a minute." Miss Gergy interrupts my train of thought, calling me over to her desk. I'm nervous as I walk over, for someone in their late fifties her prestine skin and well managed auburn hair is vibrant and beautiful. "MR.[L/N] are you listening?!" Oh no I zoned out again, shit. "Well if you're done monolouging," She throws down a folder full of papers, tilting my head to the side I hum "quite frankly you're grades - for better lack of a word - are tragic." I fidget in place, wondering whether or not she had contacted my parents. "You haven't passed a single class, and then you went missing for two months. The school wasn't even given notice about your families 'vacation' until a week ago." I start to sweat realizing that coming back to school was a mistake, and that maybe Miss Gergy was a bit angry.

After getting an earful for a whole half hour I left the classroom bawling my eyes out, as I run home now I can hear Jeremia behind me calling my name. I pass Kyle who was waiting for the bus, he didn't even spare me a glance more focused on his phone. I also pass that one classmate who let me know Kyle left. Finally I reach home, or a house that I sleep in, a home is not what it is. Sniffling and whimpering I cautiously approach the door. Slowly I turn the knob, praying that the car in our drive isn't who I think it is. Before I can even push the door open I feel a tug on the door, stumbling back I'm greeted to the sight of a lean feminine figure standing in my doorway. Instantly I fall to my knees, bowing my head as low as humanly possible. "Godling Alpha Predator Supreme, I- I didn't know you were coming so early." I can't see her smile but from the little giggle she gives me in response tells me she's at least amused by my reaction.

"My love, please just address me by my name, no need to be so formal. After all you are my bride." Her voice is silky smooth, I can feel a hand cup my face as a thumb slips under my chin forcing me to look up. My eyes are clenched shut but the small peck on my forehead shakes me to my core. My eyes widened, her face is so close to mine, her soft plump lips and dark freckled skin are so warm and welcoming that I almost faint.

"D- Devan?" I utter her name like a curse, she snickers looking back to my parents who wear the most pleased smiles. I've never seen them smile so much, usually they just yell and scream at me. Though I guess selling me off to the Godling Alpha Predator Supreme is worse then all of that. Softly I'm pulled to my feet and Devan takes me away. I try to protest but am quickly silenced by a bag of money and jewels thrown in my face by my parents "There's your cut kid. Never fucking come back."

A wave of pain flashed through him. Then it all stopped.

The room fell silent before erupting with sounds of praise and the tiny cries of a newborn.

“You did it Mikey!” His boyfriend, Draken, praised him as one of the nurses placed the tiny baby onto Mikey's chest.

“My... Baby...” Mikey looked down at the screaming baby on his heart, his body flooding with emotions as he began to cry, cradling the tiny baby in his arms. “My sweet baby...”

His heart filled with warmth as Draken wrapped his arm around him, loving on Mikey and doting over the baby.

Eventually, the nurses had to take the baby away to the nursery and Mikey was taken away for recovery.

Mikey sat in a rocking chair, watching as his daughter slept peacefully in her crib. They couldn't believe she was finally here - their little bundle of joy.

“You've been staring at her since we got home...” Draken muttered, walking over to Mikey, who was staring intently at his newborn daughter as she slept in her pastel purple crib.

“I don't want to be away from her for even a second...” Mikey said in a whisperer, resting his chin on his arm, staring down away the baby.

As he stared at her, Mikey couldn't help but feel a sense of anxiety creeping in. He worried if he and Draken were ready for parenthood, and if they would be good enough parents for their daughter.

Draken noticed the worry on Mikey's face and put his arm around him, comforting him. “We'll figure it out together...” he whispered.

“But what if we do something wrong... What if we don't raise her right...?” Mikey began to whine, his eyes filled with worry and sadness.

Draken simply smiled, lightly stroking Mikey's hand with his thumb. “We'll make mistakes, but we'll learn from them...”

Mikey nodded, feeling grateful for Draken's support. As the night went on, Mikey eventually dozed off in the rocking chair, their daughter still snoozing soundly in her crib.

“Goodnight honey...” Draken wrapped a blanket around Mikey, lightly kissing his forehead.

In that moment, everything felt perfect and complete. They were a family now, and they knew that no matter what challenges they may face, they would face them together with love and strength.
