Van Gogh With A FtM Reader

They would be very supportive of you, whether you told him at the beginning of your relationship or even later in. There would be a lot of mutual understanding and appreciation of each other (I stand by my firm beliefs in genderfluid van gogh <3)

I definitely think that they would do all they could to make you as comfortable as possible, a lot of encouragement and support. Whatever you need he would be there for.

If you go the through of going on hormones he would be right there by your side! if its shots and you don't feel comfortable doing them yourself, they will try and help you. And if you end up doing any surgeries, he will be by your side the whole-time post-op. "Oh no don't do that I'll grab it for you!" is something you would be hearing a lot

Dude is so protective of your honor and image, would probably bite someone's fingers off if they said anything wrong about you or misgendered you ngl.

Jfk With A FtM Reader

Oh, this poor man, he would try his hardest, but you would have to explain it to him a couple of times before he actually gets it. Once he does, he would need your guidance as you how to be there for you and help.

Would definitely be like "uh the boy ones :D?" and then look to you to see if he got it right when asked his pronouns. Which is adorable in hindsight but makes you shake your head in the moment.

He lends you his old clothes. All the time. So many clothes. This is good if you like his style but if not good luck, you can use some of it to sleep in though so it's a win win no matter what Ig. Does just throw hands to defend you. It's just what he does, it's almost like a love language for him. Oh, someone said something bad about my boyfriend? I am going to break their jaw :). You just got to expect it. Eventually people won't even try to say nasty shit because they know that they'll be hunted down for it.

Joan With A FtM Reader

Joan would be your number 1 supporter no matter what. They would be by your side from the very beginning and is there for whatever you need. Want to go shopping? She might not like too, but for you she'll do it. Need help changing your name and pronouns in the system? She will be fighting right by your side.

They love you very much and I feel like if you have top surgery, she will trace your scars when they are healed. It would just become a habit for her when you two are laying down together.

On days where you are feeling particularly dysphoric, she would sit you down on the couch and you would watch your favorite movies and eat your favorite snacks.

Will beat the shit out of people for you like Jfk, she would hold no remorse. The only difference here is that she would wait for you to tell her it's okay to do so.

My music taste mostly consists of scene music of course as well as emo! I am very very VERY interested in history, I love it so much! Everything from the stone age to the 2010s! I love it!! I do hours of research, make powerpoints, factfiles, read about it etc!

I am also quite interested in things like world cups (precisely the 2014 world Cup), Maned wolves and lop bunnies, graphic novels and space! I love doing research about them and picking up random facts + key info about them! jfgogh stays being one of my favorite ships and i am glad most of the fandom likes it as well: Pre-established friendship, pinning, fluff, (unedited)

It became easy for Van Gogh to talk around jfk, the students who once barely interacted were now found speaking everyday. Or at least jfk speaking and Van Gogh listening while working on other projects. Needless to say it was quite rare to see the opposite. But that isn’t to say it never happened, especially on that one warm night in jfk’s studio.

“… and that is why art and music are a perfect mix! They complement each other and tell a story in a way that isn’t just written literature.” Van Gogh rambled, motioning with his hands, adding theatrics that even Shakespeare would be jealous of. Jfk listened with all of his focus, he had taken a break from writing lyrics for his next song to give the red haired man next to him all of his attention. His eyes followed the hands motioning frantically beside him, wondering how they would feel in his own. Would they be soft against his calloused fingers? Gently holding his face? He thought softly, yearning to know.

“Hey are you listening?” Jfk snapped back into focus to the person in front of him, eyed wide and face flushed. Worried he had been caught he put on a grin and shrugged.

“Yeah! Of course I was.”

Van Gogh was not convinced of this, “. . . sorry, I talked too much.” He muttered and sat his hands on his thighs, looking over to the door quickly before his eyes jumped back to jfk. “I’ll go if I am bothering you.”

“No no no not at all. Keep talking,” Jfk was quick to respond, taking a breath he added on, “I- er love your company and what you have to say. It wouldn’t be the same without you around.” For a moment, they both looked at each other. Comfort, reassurance, and maybe something else could be fond in how they looked in each other’s eyes. Van Gogh relaxed back into his seat and picked up his pencil, a soft grin dawned on his face.

“While that may be true, you obviously weren’t listen and so to make it up to me,” he thought for a moment and Jfk stared wider eyed, “I get to do the cover art for your next album.” Van Gogh teased before laughing, a sound of gold to jfk’s ears.

Idk if this is a me issue but i always get irrationally angry when i see van gogh x julius ceasar , like for no reason at all. I can't say that i dont like their dynamic cuz there is no dynamic - at least not canonically - and i havent ran into any nasty depictions of their relationship (except that one jfgogh amnesia comic u guys remember that?) So i have absolutely no reason to dislike them. And i don't even get that mad nowadays - my brain just smells kinda bad nd i move past it but in 2020 i remember like getting red in the face and rolling my eyes and i think that wuz soley because i shipped jfgogh- but i didnt get mad at all when i saw ghandi x van gogh or jfk?? I thought it wuz cute?? So idk wut the difference between ghandi nd julius ceasar is- i guess ghandi has just had more interactions with van gogh but also their only interaction wuz ghandi being a huge asshole to vincent sooo
