I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO REITERATE SOMETHING

Yes, let’s circle back to the beautiful performance of Edge of Great. More specifically the BODY LANGUAGE, particularly Julie and Luke’s, which I will be analyzing with gifs.

Exhibit A

Jealous Luke looks over at Julie and Reggie vibing

Julie is aware that she’s avoiding Luke, which she is doing so bc she realized her feelings for him thanks to Flynn earlier in the episode.

Since Julie has put the task of ignoring Luke upon herself even though she has no obligation to, she ends up failing her own mission. She sees Luke’s reaction to the lack of her attention.

She literally FREEZES. She’s emotionally worried to confront what she’s feeling and it’s beginning to manifest physically.

Exhibit B

It gets better y’all. After Luke finally has even a crumb of Julie’s attention, he beckons her over with his signature head tilt. This is important bc he did this with his longtime bandmate during the soundcheck of what would’ve been their biggest performance. If he feels comfortable enough using that body language with a girl he’s only known for, what, a week and a half(?) then you know this puppy boy’s got it BAD.

Julie is well aware that Luke is getting jealous. But in classic Julie fashion, she will try to tune it out instead of addressing it. Our wicked beauty doesn’t like confrontation and would rather just deny and avoid than potentially make things awkward, especially when she knows Luke would ask her about it at a later time.

The look on Julie’s face. Her eyes widen and the classic tight-lipped awkward smile is present. She’s literally saying “ok enough of that let’s get back to work doo doo doo” with her face. The way her body SWINGS back into performance mode as she faces the audience again. It may have been a split second, but when you’re deliberately trying to avoid looking into the dreamy (dead) eyes of someone you shouldn’t be crushing on, any amount of time feels too long. Plus, she knows Flynn is watching and doesn’t want her to lecture her (but she does anyway bc Flynn is observant and knows her bestie too well to let any action slip past her).

Exhibit C

Keep in mind; NONE OF THE GUYS KNOW WHY JULIE IS AVOIDING LUKE. Flynn, Alex, and Reggie have noticed the Juke chemistry, but it’s still too soon for them to get past the “we like each other but we’re too clueless to notice that we reciprocate” phase, so even though their respective besties know, they are still denying. Besides, Reg, Alex, and Flynn know better than to keep pestering if they want to keep their kneecaps. In reality they’re both smart enough to tell by this point, but for the sake of the plot and to make everything more adorably frustrating, Flynn has the collective brain cell under lock and key, leaving Juke to be like *dog tilting its head and making that “a-roo?” noise*

Anyway, Reggie notices Luke being snubbed after realizing that his extra dose of Julie time was slightly out of the ordinary. Luke is clearly concerned (look at his eyebrows and how his eyes travel from Reggie, to Julie, then to the audience to trying and get his mind off it and bring his focus back to the main goal; the performance.) If he can’t have the moment of connection with Julie that he so desperately craves, he’s gonna fill that void as best he can by connecting with the audience. >:’)

But Reggie’s trying to help Luke brush it off by conveying his reaction as ‘look at julie coming into her own! i told you she was a star! and you thought you were the lead singer? think again buddy this girl’s got you beat!’

But since Reggie isnt a master at hiding his feelings yet, especially around Luke, —who was able to get under his skin earlier (“girls, am i right?”)—Luke was easily able to see through that and interpreted what Reggie was saying as “look at julie go, she all in the zone. you’re literally making heart eyes at her get a grip you’re slacking lmao” (hence luke’s right eyebrow quirking at reggie like ‘dude seriously gimme a break u know i need attention like tinkerbell’) even though Reggie’s true message was a bit less harsh and more lovingly teasing, but it’s Luke, he sees things through his eyes and at his intensity, regardless of who it’s coming from. (This is one of the reasons why Luke comes off as selfish at times.)

Exhibit D

Poor Lukey boi can’t seem to catch a break today! Not only does Julie ignore him, then has a cute lil (platonic but it’s luke so it still makes him jealous >:P) moment, but now she has the AUDACITY to interact with Alex? The guy who was out learning Ghost 101 with this Willie guy instead of rehearsing with the band? What gives?! What’s he got that your moody ghost bf doesn’t? >:’(

He literally just watches, and even glances back in a way that, to me, screams ‘did i see that right? did i just see what i just saw with my own dreamy (but dead) eyes? say sike rn.’ \_(*_*)_/

Meanwhile, Alex pays no mind. I like to think that Alex is fully aware that Luke is an angry boy rn, but has learned to ignore it, especially this bc literally NOTHING happened. Either that or Alex has no clue and just truly thinks nothing of it and is having too much fun to think about Luke’s moody and childish behavior. Either way, Alex is just straight chilling and we love to see it *^_^*

Notice how Reggie is right there vibing with Julie and Alex. Luke feels a bit betrayed like ‘not you too! i know you were the first to turn on me but i figured since you’re such a golden retriever you’d be loyal and come back to my side!😠🥲’

Also; Luke approaches the rest of the group, wanting to be included in at least SOME of the vibing, but when Julie starts dancing and smiling with her buddy Alex, he backs up like

“you know what? nope. nevermind. not doin’ it.”

and the group’s like “i mean hey it’s your loss, but luke we want you to-”

“no, bc you chose to piss me off right in front of my face so no luke time for any of you! no cuddles, no hugs, no nothing! you made your bed, now lie in it and perish.”

Exhibit E & F: This is where it gets a bit interesting and theorized hehe...

Now we all know that this moment is just fucking ICONIC

WEOWH NEOW NEOW!!! WEOW NEHR NEHR NER-NER-NER NEHR NEHR NEOWHR!!! (wer nehr-nehr-ner-ner-nehr-nehr!!) WUEHNER-NEUHNER-NEHR-NEEOW-NEOWH! DLOOLOODDUH-DOODLAH-HOOBLUEH-NEOWHR-NEUEHR-NEEEEEEUOWRH!!!!

But hear me out– HEAR ME OUT!

What if... now don’t shoot the messenger who just so happens to also be the theorist... but what if...

WHAT IF!!! Luke didn’t!! plan this?!!!

Listen i know you’re probably thinking:

“Well uh Nicole, isn’t that kinda the whole point? It literally wasn’t planned until Charlie realized Madi was gonna be standing on the piano so he suggested the idea for the guitar solo to Kenny.”

And you’re right! But here’s the kicker:

What if Luke THE CHARACTER, just decided to do this as an “Alright that’s it! You wanna be like that? Well what if I just hit you with my super awesome radical totally cool wowza guitar skills & make a moment between us? Huh? What do you think about that? Hmm? HMMM???!!!”

He licks his lips & that to me read** like he was nervous (**read rhyming with bed just to clarify) so that means it could’ve been a spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment thing.

In the second gif, you can see that Julie’s head is tilted, as if she’s a bit confused, but she’s also delightfully surprised.

Julie is quick to smile and scrunch her nose at Luke, something she does often. It tells Luke his impulsive action garnered a positive response from his favorite girl. Julie also starts to shake her head, but doesn’t go through the motion in full, which means she’s still a bit nervous to let her guard down. This is probably because she doesn’t know what he’s thinking or what he will do next. The lopsided smile mixed with the suave, gliding steps towards her probably brought her back to her daydream lol.

Luke’s happy bc Julie’s no longer ignoring him. He smiles like a GOOBER bc this chump is simping HARD for our Julie. So cute! :’)

Exhibit G

And hear me when I offer this:

What if Luke poofed the guys out???

I know, I know. It’s a bold claim to make. But the boys are special, considering they are a threat to Caleb (3 gay-variant himbos vs. a gay magician that could’ve been on broadway but decided to make some sort of deal with a devil so he just entertains capitalists who most likely sold their souls to get into the hgc which i will probably elaborate on in a future theory so dont do that bc im gonna lmao idc we all have big brains) So it’s not too crazy to think that they could share some ghost powers.

We know Caleb transported the guys during You Got Nothing to Lose. And the guys have left a place at the exact same time on more than one occasion.

And you may be thinking “well what if the guys poofed out to give juke a moment alone together?” And to that I say...

Look at Reggie. He isn’t looking back at Alex like “dude let’s give them some space.”

The timing of him turning around, at least to me, makes me think Reggie was surprised by Luke approaching the piano. (But also he lowkey was waiting for Luke to prove him wrong by doing something to get Julie’s attention so Reggie isn’t mad. Neither is Alex but he doesn’t like being told how or WHEN to ghost) Luke doesn’t even give his bandmates a warning eyebrow quirk, a hand signal, nothing. Reggie turns to Alex like ‘dude what is he DOING?’ And before he can even really convey that, they go *POOF*

This man had a plan and he was gonna do it, so he did. Whether it’s the power of love, they stopped performing, or Reggie and Alex actually poofed out, the odds worked in Luke’s favor so he and Julie could have a super special moment, a moment special enough to make an actual living person (Nick) wonder if a “hologram” has a better chance at connecting with Julie than he does.

Again, regardless of who made them poof or how they poofed, they mf poofed so Luke’s a happy hamster. (Idk it just sounded fitting instead of happy camper lol wait what if someone had 3 pet hamsters and named them alex reggie and luke🥺 someone buy some hamsters and let me be their godmother or their aunt and i’ll love them from afar.) Anyway, Luke’s thriving, flourishing, his crops are going to grow in time for the harvest.

You can see Julie lean back as she turns to see Luke. It’s... almost as if... She. Wasn’t. Expecting. Him. To. Be. There..??

Yes I’m making a headcanon that Julie has TWO middle names and that one of them is the spanish word for butterfly and that the other is her mother’s name. Also yes, I believe (i believe that we’re just one dream away from who we’re– oh, that’s not what we’re doing? okay, sorry!) that Juliana is Julie’s full name.

A Love Story in 3 parts.

Disclaimer : Everything is fake. Or is it? 👀

Why the month of June is always very interesting. basically an excuse to try making a timeline of 1 month spanning three years before I attempt to do the 2017-2020 timeline. the keyword there is ATTEMPT.

﹌﹌Part I: June 2018 ﹌﹌

This is a popular guess on the month that they actually got together— as far as acknowledging that they’re NOT bros. Keep in mind that these two supposedly first met on 3/14/2017 with no interactions or even eye contact ( as per Web). After that, they meet again 4/2018 as CQL started shooting.

That’s two months of interaction. We have different timelines in our head with them, so you can interpret this as A.) they hit it off really quickly that’s why it only took a little time for their feelings to go THERE. B.) they are lying liars who lie and have been in contact from 2017-2018.

• 6.2.2018 - Shooting of LWJ and WWX in the rain. • 6.3.2018 - Produce 101 Performance! Yes, the same one where GG was a mentor and they acted like they didn’t know each other. Famous for moments such as:

Glancing at each other even if separated by people. + Sharing an earpiece. GG smiling while watching Web Dance.

Here is the whole episode

• 6.3.2018 - TTXS episode airing where Web gives love clues, where he says it depends on how he feels. Also that when he’s 40, he wants a kid and a dog.

• 6.9.2018 - GG’s interview with him showing how much of a Libra he is.

• 6.10.2018 - TTXS episode airing where Cheng Xiao is a guest and she proceeds to be Web’s good bro by exposing him ; saying he’s a Monk.

• 6.11.2018 - Interview with Popular highlight, Web mentions GG for the first time while looking THIS good. The Audacity. Honestly. 🤦🏻‍♀‍

He talked about how long GG’s lines are compared to him, especially when they highlight it on their script books.

• 6.14.2018 - Shooting of Cold Pond Cave scene ; Then clinging to each other amidst the cold water. If you watched the new BTS from fansites, there is a 🔞scene here. Pertaining to the M*gnum W*ng.

• 6.16.2018 - Shooting guns at each other and dancing to Black Pink’s Ddu Ddu.

• { VERY IMPORTANT DATE} 6.18.2018 is when they shot this scene. GG is looking all wet, with mud on his face but Web just says he still looks handsome with no make up on. Also, CAN WE TAKE A SECOND AND WEEP at how GG looks at Web here. His eyes. Wow. He clearly adores Web at this point.

• They also shot WWX handing Zongzi to LWJ.

• Later that day, they ate together. They were photographed by paps who thought Web was going out with a girl. The produced and director of CQL was also there.

• GG then posted this on Weibo on 20:18 “love you yibo” as a greeting for the Festival. Web took the picture, according to me. I’m the curtain.

• 6.19.2018 - The next day, Web is photographed at the airport with the same clothes. This is also the first appearance of his white Nike Bag. He had to go and film an episode of Happy Camp.

AND OUR BOI WAS ABSOLUTELY GLOWING IN THAT EPISODE. Watch it english subbed here.

• 6.22.2018 - a supposedly important day too as they cued 622 a couple of times. This is a good read on that.

﹌﹌ Part II: June 2019 ﹌﹌

• 6.1.2019 - GG interview with cosmo where he sings Kepler. • 6.2.2019 - Web attending Yuehua family concert • 6.15.2019 - Web in extreme youth press conference wearing a questionable spongebob shirt.

• {VERY IMPORTANT DATE} 6.19.2019 - First appearance of Web’s ox head necklace via a picture of him in an airport, at Chongqing.

• 6.19.2019 - GG posts an ad for Qeelin on his instagram account. ( which is now non existent since it was hacked incase you didn’t know). Qeelin Bo is significant to BJYX, you can check it on my jewelry post.

• 6.21-6.22 2019 - Web posted himself practicing skateboard.

• 6.25.2019 - They both posted on their Weibo about their joint Bazaar Magazine cover. This was re-released and became bazaar’s #1 e-magazine issue.

• 6.27.2019 - They both post about the premiere of CQL! 💚❤️

• 6.28.2019 - Web posts himself as LWJ, saying rabbits are cute.

• 6.30.2019 - Web attends Yuehua annual party as Spiderman (into the spider verse).

﹌﹌ Part III: June 2020 ﹌﹌

• 6.5.20 - GG posts after a long time of silence with a picture of blue sky. Captioning it with : “Blue skies and white clouds, what do you see?” more on the significance of blue sky and white clouds with BYX here. • 6.9.20 - XZ studio posts a video about GG’s daily life, giving us a glimpse of what he was doing. • 6.12.20 - We finally get a selfie from GG! He mentions on his caption that his hair is getting long. There is a CPN on this that the shirt he is wearing is a couple shirt from trasher which matches Web’s. Also, as people match the scenery posts on this, it matches with Web’s filming locations.

• 6.13.20 - GG Douyin update, making orange juice like a pro. CPN on this is that the place he is filming at is pretty similar to Web’s house. But let’s not go there.

• 6.18.20 - Another artwork post from GG.

• 6.20.20 - Himalaya releases a CF for their new endorser, Wang Yibis. THIS CF ANS EVERYTHING ABOUT IT KILLED US. Starting with Web’s post, “Some words, even if I don’t say it, u guys will know. This is our tacit understanding. Love is like this. Accompanying everyday.”

and this parallel, >>

• 6.21.20 - Web video doing an Ollie (skateboard trick). People were speculating where he actually is on this one. most probably just him enjoying his down time and probably Lele taking that video. • 6.25.20 - GG posts an artwork of zongzi along with an actual one for dragon boat festival. People have analyzed the little drawings and noted one looks like him & the other as Web.

• AND FINALLY, this year’s Dragon Boat Festival gave way to the crazy fake rumor of them getting “engaged” + buying a house and car. When this came out, it was such a sweet fanfic— but with how the fake rumors becoming true lately— this is now very scary 👀.

CPN is that they spent this year’s Dragon boat festival together because of this clue. (Let me copy my own post) -->>

This started with GG’s post and the background being compared to one of Web’s cast-mate, Wang Hao Xuan.

What gets me is the caption saying, “stuff that happens at work is a secret”. / “someone became super talkative while eating zongzi” What? Why? Who do we know is quiet but becomes really talkative when with his GG? WANG YIBIS.

Post-shoot, The director attended SDOC 3 finals too! To support Web. Plus Web’s message for the wrap was sweet. I felt like they really took care of him and will not say anything that will bring him down.

BONUS THROWBACK 6.1.2017.

Both of them posted selfies on that day, talking about 6/1 but there’s no event to celebrate on China on that day.

I always forget about Eda’s ex because I think Eda forgot about him too. Cenk cheated on her and brought his new gf to break up with her, and Eda was more peeved that he implied Serkan was out of her league. (1/2)

The only time he’s brought up again is when Eda pretends to be texting him instead of Serkan (because Ayfer would be madder at her talking to Serkan lol). 3. Whenever Melo is supposed to be mad at Serkan in solidarity with Eda, she just cannot bring herself to dislike him. (2/2)

I LOVE THIS ASK!

1. I have always wondered about that. Even current, softer Serkan would get PISSED at someone keying his car. He keeps all of his things pristine. You know under normal circumstances he would be infuriated by that and not let it go. The car would have had to go to the body shop and everything. I think the fact that he didn’t seem all that bothered, other than threatening to call the police of course, is that he was just so gobsmacked by this insanely beautiful, but also beautifully insane, lady yelling at him and handcuffing him that he couldn’t think straight. The fact that she had seriously vandalized his car became inconsequential.

Additionally, I think when he found out ArtLife had cancelled her scholarship, he became embarrassed and didn’t want to make any more of an issue about it.

2. I forget about him too. What a tool he was. It also seems a bit out of character for Eda now. All of her friends and her aunt knew that he was ghosting her, and they made it clear they thought it by their reactions, but Eda didn’t get it? Eda was ready to marry a dude she hadn’t seen for a year? That does not sound like the Eda we know. Independent, fiery Eda? It’s true that she’s grown a lot, but that much? It seems like they designed that relationship to put Eda in the right frame of mind to kiss Serkan on the podium and then, thankfully, forgot about it.

3. Yes, Melo is all of us. In the early episodes especially, Serkan could be a real jerk, but I know I never held it against him for long, just like Melo. None of us can resist him, I’m sure we were all cheering her on when she was the one to give up Eda’s Saturday morning location. And I love it when she calls him enişte. It’s also sweet that he’s fond of her as well.

Anonymous said: What are your thoughts about Engin and Piril? Sometimes I think they are cute and sometime I just don't think they are meant for each other. I hope Piril's father brings a new story and dynamic that will help us see whether they work as a couple or not.

My thoughts are pretty much the same as yours. In the beginning I really thought they were pretty flat and wasn’t really rooting for them. Partly because I loved Engin’s character and I was pretty “eh” on Piril. She was so laser focused on work that I didn’t like when she would try and guilt Serkan because he was spending time with Eda. I found that annoying and I thought Engin could have a more interesting relationship (like Melo!).

Alas, that wasn’t to be, however I surprised myself by actually cheering when he proposed, and I really liked their heart to heart talk in the NY episode. On the other hand I wasn’t really charmed by their disconnect when it came to entertaining people. They were SO FAR apart. Piril was so uptight and Engin so lacksodasical, I think they’ll end up driving each other bonkers and it’s hard to see how that will work, and I’m not sure it’s something I want to watch all that much of.

Same as you, I’m hope that Piril’s father turns out to be interesting. What’s going on there? Will we find out this episode?

Also, honestly, I’m still pressed they didn’t call Serkan to come to the wedding. (But I assume that had more to do with how quickly they shoot and needing to have scenes without Hande and Kerem in them. H/K were in tons of scenes that episode so it was probably tight with scheduling and they were doing A and B units etc.)

Hello! I’m well, thank you for asking. I’m not even joking when I saw that SCK was a highlight of 2020 for me. I’m so appreciative for the happy and joyous distraction it’s been over the last few months.

I LOVE MELO AND SEYFI. They are two of my favorite supporting characters, and two of the only ones that have stayed at the top since the beginning. Now Aydan is up there with them, but she wasn’t in the beginning, lol!

Those two deserve all good things. Leyla is also a great character and I wonder what her feelings are towards Erdem. Does she really like him?

Anyway, I’m not sure what they might be planning for any of them, but I can tell you I’m more interested in how they might end up, than I am with Ceren, Ferit, Fifi, or Piril.

I don't think they've ever mentioned it on the show and if they have I may have missed it but it's interesting. It would be interesting to know, you’d think she would have some relatives on her mom’s side. We’ll have to see if the show ever mentions it.

See, this is why I always say not to borrow trouble by worrying about the disaster scenario. Why would he ask Balca to marry him the day after he sexed up Eda? Even if they were hiding it and using Balca for subterfuge, why would they need to go all the way to engaged to do that?

I’m glad you’re feeling better. I agree that the video posted today with them all at Eda’s house with the flower and the chocolate looks very much like they’re doing the traditional asking for her hand for serious this time!

Me too! I appreciate the cast and crew AND I appreciate the fandom. There are some very lovely people here, and I’m thrilled that I have you all to discuss the show and ship with because none of my friends or family in real life watch either. I’ve told many people about it, and sometimes I will drop words or phrases in Turkish that I’ve picked up watching and all they do is roll their eyes at me. (I enjoy that)

Also... talk back to that screen, I do. It’s fun. LOL.

My apologies, I know this ask was sent before some of the recent spoilers including the second promo with the... uh... explosion. (sex) So at this point I do not think they are working together, the break up appears to be real. So it will be interesting how the first 2 hours of this episode plays out. I assume the sex will be in the last 15 minutes.

It looks like Serkan’s tact is to pretend he’s over her and moving on and let that drive her crazy. So I’d say that in order to do that, he has a pretty good idea why Eda broke up with him and knows it’s because of Babaanne and threats against him.

Since you sent this I’ve answered another ask about Ayfer here. I very much agree with you. She reacts negatively to everything, I’m not sure why the girls like to hang out with her so much, they have to hide everything and she is like a damp rag covering any bit of excitement.

On rewatching some of the early episodes, I have noticed that she was negative from the beginning. She was even annoying in her first second on screen, when she was waking Eda up to go help with the soil delivery. I hate that shrill voice she uses to say Günaydın over and over again.

You’re so right that she hasn’t had much if any growth. Neither she nor Aydan were excited by the Eda/Serkan pairing from the beginning. Aydan was more vocal, but Ayfer was just as disapproving. And frankly, even though between the two of them, Aydan might have seemed like the more formidable foe to the relationship, Ayfer actually always had more power. Just because Serkan Bolat is going to do whatever he wants to do and he’s not going to be swayed by his mother’s disapproval, but as we’ve seen in episode 21 Eda is more susceptible to her aunt’s guilt and disapproval. Remember when she asked Eda if she could trust Serkan’s positive assessment of her work because he might lie if he has feelings for her!?! GRRRRRRRRR.

The other big difference is that once Aydan saw how absolutely heartbroken Serkan was, she completely changed her tune and became supportive of the relationship. Her son’s happiness mattered to her. While Ayfer sat there last week and watched her heartbroken niece and reacted with glee. Eda’s happiness is apparently not important to Ayfer.

If indeed the Bolat’s have come to woo Eda, it will be interesting to see how Ayfer reacts. Will she come around on her own or will Eda have to give her an ultimatum. I wouldn’t mind that, actually. Give Ayfer a reality check on the way she’s been behaving, just as controlling as her mother.

I don’t agree that Serkan was coming from a “purely selfish place.” I don’t remember Serkan saying that and if he did, I’m sure it’s because he’s attributing all his motives to the one he’s most ashamed of feeling. Because while there was something selfish in not wanting her to know the truth and not wanting her to think of her dead parents when she looked at him, I think it’s clear he was also trying to protect her from those thoughts. He was trying to protect her from the heartbreak of dredging up their deaths, protecting her from having to make the decision to leave him. It was a lot more complicated then just him being “purely selfish.” Remember he inflicted the greatest heartbreak on himself, you don’t do that for purely selfish reasons.

It would be nice if anytime something went wrong, there wasn’t a knee-jerk reaction to vilify one or the other characters.

I was hanging with you when I realized I didn’t think it was true, I was surprised

It was the practice match with Karasuno when Hajime realized what he felt towards you. The bubble of feelings that were held strong in his chest everytime he thought about you. Or the clamminess in his hands when you would talk to him, the hitch in his breath when you would get close enough for him to smell of perfume you would put on in the mornings. You were around him all the time, being friends with him and Oikawa, while also being the manager of Aboa Johsai’s volleyball team. It was hard not to feel pulled in by you. It was hard to be far away.

It was confusing for him, really. Brush the thoughts away, continue practicing, win, and continue with the day. This was a normal occurrence for him. You were just a close friend since middle school, nothing more nothing less. But when the feelings get so strong, it’s hard to brush them off. Why can’t you get off my mind-

“Iwa-Chan! Why do you look so mad? Is it because we lost? Aw! It’s okay!-”

“Shut the hell up shitty-kawa” Hajime remarks coldly kicking the rocks beneath his feet on the sidewalk, as Oikawa screeches almost hitting the side of the building.

“Guys! Can we not?” You sigh before continuing to walk just to show your frustration to the two boys in front of you. The walk continues in a comfortable silence (only because you glared at Oikawa, giving him the shut the hell up look), but you pipe up again.

“We may have lost, but it was just a practice! So don’t feel too bad Iwa! We will have them next time!” You chriped, running in front of the boys, the sunset hitting the back of your head giving you a warm aura outlining your body. A goddess Hajime thought as he looked at you as his face flushed in a light pink, painting over his sun kissed skin. Oikawa gave you a genuine smile, then joined you in trying to make Hajime feel better about what they thought was over the loss, but in reality over you.

When I found out I’ve fallen for you

I didn’t want to believe my feelings for you

I didn’t want to believe that I could lose you

It was a week after that practice game when Hajime realized how much love he felt for you. It was a normal day, you were hanging out with the other third years during lunch. You were sitting across from him at the table, Oikawa standing behind you, Hanamaki on your left side and Matsukawa on Hajime’s left. Hajime was eating his food, not as engaged in the conversation as you and the others were.

“So what are you gonna do after we graduate y/n-chan?” Oikawa questions while trying to shove Hanamaki so he could sit next to you,slowly twirling his finger around a piece of your hair. Haijme’s eyes meet yours as you think of an answer, and you smile at him. Once again, you made his heart flutter.

“Oh, I’ll probably stay here to help out with the market my family owns, remember?” You say as you continue to eat your lunch. Oh y/n that was one thing Hajime loved about you, the fact you were so kind and considerate. As long as he has known you, you never once changed your mind about what you wanted to do. Your family owned a small market/cafe near the school, you always wanted to make it bigger, more customers so your family wouldn’t be in debt due to all the bills. If only Hajime could be the one who helped you with that dream.

“Aw! Y/n-chan! You’re so cute! Always wanting to help others!” Hajime noticed the way your eyes sparkled, the way your face slightly flushed into a soft pink. He wanted to have that effect on you, but he decided to stay quiet. He won’t lose you, or at least that's what he wanted to tell himself.

Two weeks after your eyes sparkled, Hajime told himself he would be the person to make you do that. Outside of volleyball of course. Your eyes would sparkle for volleyball,when your favorite artist released a new song, and when you would gush about your favorite show’s new episode. He has never seen a person's words make your eyes sparkle.

Now you were at practice, filling out paperwork on the gym’s floor next to the door. The boys were in the middle, working on the drills the coach assigned.

“Okay, I’ll give you five” The coach left the gym, doing who knows what. I can do it Hajime silently thought to himself before carrying his legs towards you, one stop at a time. Each step was filled with so much force, he felt like he could split the ground to two. Your eyes met his again, but no sparkle.

“Hey Iwa! What’s up?” You ask before sitting up to face your body completely towards him.

“Nothing...just wanted to see what you were doing.” He coughed out before joining you on the ground. He turns his head to face you, before realizing how close he seated himself to you. He could practically feel the warmth your body radiated, but he didn’t mind, only if it's you. He could hear the snickers in front of him, only to give a slight glare to Matsukawa and Hanamaki. You turn your head towards him and you grin.

“Iwa, you’re sweaty and smell bad” You snicker, returning back to your work. But you didn’t move away, Hajime did. You glance towards him once more as he gets up and walks away, his stomach doing flips and turns mumbling a small “shit” under his breath. Only if you knew.

And it might be pathetic

but I just want to be with you

“Are you okay Iwa-chan?” Oikawa laughed at his ace, only to get hit by a volleyball, it made you laugh. Hajime wondered if that laugh was for him.

Please tell me girl, could you get a clue? Or come through cause I just want to be with you

I’m scared of telling you how I feel

It was the day before finals when Hajime realized how scary it could be to love someone. How scary it is to love you.

You were giving the team a speech, mentally preparing them for the next day. You gathered them in a circle, Hanamaki on your left, Hajime on your right, and Oikawa next to Hajime.

“Okay, everyone. It’s been a good year for us! I want to let each and everyone of you know how proud of you guys I am. You guys are the best team I have the privilege of managing. It’s definitely not easy to do. You know those crazy Oikawa fans I have to deal with, or to set up practice games with other schools, but I will never regret a single bit of any of it. You all are my boys, and I love you all very so much. Even if it means I have to deal with your crazy shit you guys pull, I would do it forever. So let’s win nationals! Let’s go out with a bang!” You yelled putting your hand in the middle, the rest of the team followed suit shouting cheers. Hajime placed his hands on top of yours, looked at you, your eyes finally sparkled. Maybe he shouldn’t be so scared. Loving was a beautiful thing.

After the speech you all went to your family’s shop to get some dinner, a small ritual you would do after practices and sometimes games. Everyone left one by one till it was only Hajime, Oikawa and you. The three of you walked out, under the stars. The boys decided to walk you home, because who knew when the next time you guys had a night out after volleyball practice would be. You all fell under a comfortable silence, you walked in front of the boys.

“Are you guys excited?” You spoke softly, turning around to face the captain and ace. Hajime could see the air come out of your lips due to the cold night.

“Of course y/n-chan” Oikawa smiled at you softly, taking your hands and playing with your fingers, it was a habit for you both to be affectionate, but this was different. It made Hajime’s heart hurt.

“What about you Iwa-chan? Are you excited to beat everyone?” He asked quietly, smiling at Hajime who has now stopped walking.

No. Not like this. I was going to tell you, why couldn’t this wait? Why now? They’re just friends, right? Millions of cruel thoughts raced in his mind, mixed emotions hitting him left,right,up,down but the worst was yet to come. Anger and sadness fueled him now.

“Haji?”... He didn’t respond to you, it was almost like he was looking past you. He was clenching his fist so hard, his knuckles were turning white.

“Hajime? Are you okay?” The concern in your voice is evident. Hajime knew he shouldn’t feel upset, he knew that. But how could he feel when two people he cares for the most are together? It’s not confirmed but anyone a mile away could tell without a second glance what's happening between the setter and manager. He shouldn’t want to punch Oikawa as much as he wants to right now. He didn’t know the feelings he felt towards y/n, so why must Hajime feel like he is the one at fault?

“I’m going home, I’ll see you both tomorrow. Sleep well.” Hajime turned the corner, the yellow lights of the building escaping his vision. If he were to stay any longer, who knows what he would have done, scream his anger away? Punch his feelings out? Or should he just take it out on the volleyball at his house? He drowned out the calls of Y/n and Oikawa.

Maybe it’s better if I just try to conceal the truth,

for me and for you

“Tooru, is Haji okay?” Your eyes widen at the sudden disappearance of your close friend.

“It’s okay love, maybe he had to do something?” Oikawa would be lying if he said he knew what was wrong, I mean who would’ve guessed that the short-tempered ace would ever fall in love with the soft spoken manager of the team?

“Oh, I’ll text him when I get home. Would you like to maybe watch a movie or do you think you’ll be too tired?” you replied, trying to get your mind off of the situation. Oikawa takes your hand fully, bringing it up to his chest, letting you feel his heartbeat.

“One movie should be fine y/n-chan” He smiled, one more before leaning in close to you, closing the small space and taking your lips between his. You smiled grasping his hand and sliding your fingers between his. Little did the both of you know, Hajime stayed at the corner of the building, watching, trying to deny his suspicions. He begged and prayed to be wrong, and in the end he was right. At least he got to see your eyes sparkle one last time, even if they were never meant for him.

The Masked Singer Season 5 Episode 10: Quarterfinals! ft the “fiesty five” (Commentary & Guesses... well me reiterating the same guesses but adding a new one yay!)

Hello my fellow Masked Singer fanatics! Welcome or welcome back to Ana’s Masked Singer recap, where I, Ana, recap every episode of The Masked Singer excluding those weird sing-a-longs and Road to Finals. If someone goes home and they all sing new songs, then you will most likely see me recap it! And that’s exactly what happened this time... quarterfinals baby! We are almost at the end, only 2 more weeks to go wow! 5 contestants remaining, so let’s start with our 5th place contestant, shall we?

So the person (or should I say people) coming in 5th place and getting eliminated this episode is...

*DRUMROLL PLEASE*

The Russian Dolls 🪆🪆🪆(yes, there are 3 of them)

Commentary: This one really surprised me honestly, I didn’t see this coming. Their performance of I’m Still Standing by Elton John was one of my favorite ones they have done honestly. I really enjoyed it, and even one of them was playing the freaking piano! Like it was super impressive and as always their harmonies are on point and insanely perfect.... that’s the only way I can explain it: perfect. Their voices work together perfectly, it’s like they’re a band of brothers or something (😉😉).

Anyways, they were revealed to be...

*DRUMROLL AGAIN*

Hanson (Wooo!)

Woohoo! Another one bites the dust, I got it correct yay.. 9/10 right so far. This is a new record for me, I usually get 2 wrong in the beginning reveals of previous seasons, so I am kinda proud of this so far yay! However, the reveal itself surprised me, I thought that they would make it at least to the semifinals if not the finale so this elimination I didn’t see coming. Especially after that performance which I think is one of their best. However, I was super nervous that they were gonna send Black Swan home so I was relieved by this ngl...

Anyways, having said that, let’s talk about the remaining 4 semifinalists:

1. Piglet 🐷

Commentary: Ok, so of all the performances this episode, his was the most surprising... because he started off sing OPERA. Honestly, I would have never thought Nick Lachey can sing in Italian and have that strong Operatic voice... the more you know man. However, he actually continued by singing Supertitous by Stevie Wonder which was a bit of a let down.. as I have said multiple times, his best is with ballads and his voice isn’t suited for upbeat songs like this one. In this case, he started at an all time high 📈 and it got me hyped but then it kind of died down 📉 by the middle and end. I did enjoy the performance tho but I wish he would have just sang opera the entire time because it left me wanting to hear more of the opera song.

2. Chameleon 🦎

Commentary: again I say, I am so sorry to people who are rap fans and/or fans of the chameleon/Wiz Khalifa, but I honestly feel like he should have gone home instead of the dolls. His performance of “Drop it like it’s not” by Snoop Dogg was not his best one, and his rapping is getting kinda repetitive at this point,even tho he is very good at it. Also, side note, the judges had the audacity to say that they thought this was Snoop even tho he sang a song by the guy and in the song he legit spelled “S-n-double o-p D-o-double g....” like um if it were Snoop, he wouldn’t be THAT obvious. Anyways, yeah I predict he is next to go.

3. Yeti ❄️☃️

Commentary: Alright, so Yeti is really surprising me honestly, quickly becoming my second favorite after my girl Black Swan. He is such a versatile performer, I never would have expected Omarion to rap, dance, roller skate, do R&B songs, and now sing some country. It made me nervous at first when he said country in the clue package, because I know him as a R&B musician, but I was really pleasantly surprised with his performance of Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts, it was really smooth and unexpectedly great!

4. Black Swan 🖤🦢

Commentary: Speaking of my girl, here she is... omg I love her, please win girl, I beg of you! Her performance of Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran was.... um... interesting.... in the song choice department. It was absolutely not her best performance, but I gotta give her credit that she did make the song her own. However, she has so much range in her voice and she absolutely didn’t showcase it with this song. I really want Jojo in the semifinals to step it up and choose songs that I know she can absolutely crush like songs by female R&B and Soul singers (some of these do mix these genres with pop but u get me) that are still mainstream enough that people know them (i.e. Aretha Franklin, Destiny’s Child/Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, etc.).... even like them pop girlies who have like crazy ranges, y’all know who I am talking about: Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Celine Dion, Tori Kelly, etc. Please girl give me something with more oomph and that will give me goosebumps, because she can do that stuff but I feel like she is holding back. It’s gonna be the semifinals, I really hope she doesn’t hold back!

Bonus Jonas: Clueluedoo aka the freaking clue chicken...let’s talk about who I think he is (since he will be revealed next week!) 🐓

Commentary: ok like please Masked Singer I beg of you, never give me this character again, who doesn’t even sing but interrupts people with clues or something idk... I didn’t like this concept, it was strange, sometimes he was MIA and sometimes he got annoying... so I really hope next season they don’t bring this back. But at the same time, I kinda understand why they did do it this time based on who I feel like it is

I think he is...

Donnie Wahlberg (aka Jenny’s husband)

Reasoning: ok, you might know him from New Kidz on the Block or because his family is very famous... but he is married to one of the judges, Jenny McCarthy, and I feel like that’s why Masked Singer decided to take the “he doesn’t sing nor get any clues on the show til the end” route but still give him this weird clue route... I get it, I didn’t like it, but I understand it. Anyways, here’s why I think so (only clues imma provide for y’all)

He has never been on the show, as a contestant nor judge= this was on the Masked Singer podcast, and this is true, which rules out another popular guess, Joel McHale

He has a connection with one of the contestants= that would be Nick Lachey, they toured together (New Kidz on the block and 98 degrees did)

He pointed out Ken and Jenny specifically= he’s married to Jenny duh... and Ken is a family friend of theirs, they have dinner at each other’s houses a lot

He’s known in the kitchen (also from the podcast)= yup, he is known for his burgers (Wahlburgers)

Also, in the preview, Jenny is seen freaking out and falling on the floor, probably because that’s her husband and she prob guessed him incorrect but I didn’t so lol am I married to him? No... how did I get it then lmao 😂

10 Terrifying True Ouija Board Stories

1. Ask Zander

Oh Lord. I was about twelve when a friend and I were playing Ask Zandar (a board game with an electronic wizard that makes sounds and talks) when the batteries died. I tried to find replacements but with no luck.

So my amazing friend says “hey that Ouija board could be fun! Let us play and become possessed by demonic entities for all time”…or something along those lines.

We’re going along and asking questions, pushing the little eye around and having a grand old time. Until I say “if something is there, prove yourself”. THE MOTHERFUCKING NO BATTERY ASK ZANDAR WIZARD SAYS “Dun dun dun, you win!”. I flipped that board, tossed it in the trash, and absolutely refuse to have one in my house again.

2. Obviously Possessed

We were goofing off in a neighbor’s house playing with the Ouija board, and we asked a “demon” to talk to us (shut up, I know.) Five minutes into our “conversation”, the girl next to me vomited then fell off her stool and bashed her head on the counter. We called her mom and she took her to the doctor. She came to school the next day (with a huge knot and bruise on her head) and said the doctor said he didn’t know what caused it but she was fine, although she said she still felt a little funny. It was most likely unrelated, but I haven’t touched a Ouija board since, nor have I hung out with that girl since she is obviously possessed by a demon.

3. Night Time Visitor

The night we played, something came through and was calling me horrible names – I thought it was my friend doing it so I made my younger brother try it with me and it was most def not her, my brother was 7 and didn’t know about those words or how to spell them. I asked it to do something to prove it was real and nothing happened… fast forward to next morning, we were all sitting in the family room, watching TV when our fireplace (which we were not using), literally exploded into flames. We were all freaked out and swore we’d never use the Ouija again but, it didn’t matter, the door was opened.

After that, I had many episodes of sleep paralysis, things in my room would move on their own, something would come in my room and sit on my bed while I slept, I could feel it and see the depression in the bed.

4. The Gun Shot

Yeah. Went to this house that burned down with a whole family inside with 2 of my friends at 1 am. It was a still night, no wind or anything. We were in my truck doing the Ouija and it started to get mean, so we stopped, then it sounded like someone shot a large gun outside the truck window, and it felt like a huge gust of wind blew over us because the truck rocked, and then we all started freaking out. I tried to start the truck, and it wouldn’t go.

Then, we did it again at a friend’s house, one of the 2 people there with me the first time, and we were in the basement. Shit started getting weird again so we went to turn the lights on, and they wouldn’t turn on, and the basement door locked. None of us ever did it again.

I don’t even believe in that kind of stuff, but it was really creepy.

5. KILL!

I’ll never forget. I was 13 and my three friends and I wanted to try the Ouija board. It was the middle of the day, so we went into my friend’s walk-in closet where it was dark and we brought flashlights. We were just playing around. Eventually this “spirit” named Michael came on and we starting talking to it. Of course each of us starts joking that someone is making it move. But the more we started talking to Michael, the more it was apparent that none of us were pushing the navigator around. It was really creepy, but fascinating, too. One of my friends asked the spirit where it was in the present moment. It started to spell C-L-O-S when one friend hit the navigator off the board, started freaking out and screamed, “Closet! He was spelling closet!!” We were spooked, but in a fun way. The friend who freaked out wanted to stop, but we insisted that we keep on talking to Michael as we at least had to say goodbye and close out the session. We got the navigator back on the board and said we were sorry for interrupting him. He was not happy. He said to not do it again. Then for some stupid reason I asked Michael what was he going to do in the closet with us. It started to spell K-I-L and then the same friend threw the navigator off the board again and started screaming, “KILL! He’s going to kill us!!” and ran out of the closet. We all got really freaked out and ran out too. We didn’t close out the session so there was an argument between those of us who felt we needed to go back in and say goodbye so Michael would be sent away, and those of us who refused to ever touch the Ouija board again. We ended up not going back in and I had nightmares about Michael following me around and wanting me dead.

6. Look In The Shower

In seventh grade, my friends and I went over to “Mary’s” house intent on playing with her mom’s Ouija board that night. None of us had played with one before. Mary’s mom was an extremely spiritual person who believed in energies, witchcraft, stuff like that. Before we used the board, Mary warned us that her mom would be really pissed if she found out that we were playing with it because Ouija boards can attract bad spirits into the home. With full knowledge of this, we decided to proceed anyway. This Ouija board was not like the average Ouija board you had ever seen. Along with the usual characteristics (the alphabet, “yes”, “no”, “goodbye”), there was an entire array of symbols and signs that were all arranged in a circle. This was some seriously intricate stuff.

We started just goofing around and “communicating” with random spirits here and there until we finally met one that had us in tears the entire sleepless night. First, we asked the spirit if it was a man or a woman, to which he replied “M-A-N”. Then we asked how he was killed: “M-U-R-D-E-R”. That freaked us out only a little bit but we were mostly excited. All of a sudden, before we even asked another question, the glass goes to the eyeball symbol, then spells out “I-N”, and goes to the water symbol. We didn’t have a clue what that meant. It wasn’t too scary until the spirit spelled out “S-H-O-W-E-R” and my best friend realized that the spirit was trying to get us to look into the shower.

We froze.

I’ve never been so scared in my entire life, especially sitting directly in front of the bathroom with the shower curtain all the way closed, faced in my direction. We all screamed and promised on our friendships that we had not moved it ourselves (very important promise). I felt like I was being watched and my friends thought so too. It was only 4 of us and I believe with all my heart that none of them had moved it because we were all too nervous to do anything.

I’ll never use a Ouija board again because of how crazy and intense that night was. I understand that people say Ouija boards are controlled by your subconscious but f**k that. I know I felt something in that room with us. I know it was dangerous.

7. Get The Boy!

My friend had mentioned that she had one, so I asked her to pull the board out so I could check it out. At first she said no, but then agreed to do it as long as she didn’t have to participate. After she had the board set up I asked “Is there anyone in here”…. Nothing. So, being a dumb teenager I said “If anything is in here and not talking, you’re a coward”. The board was put away after that.

Fast forward about a week later and have me sleeping upstairs on my couch. I wake up on a stereotypical “Stormy Night”. Thunder and lightning, wind and rain..the works. I look around to see why I woke up and couldn’t see a thing, and decide to try and fall back asleep. After laying there for about 30s I hear from downstairs “Get the boy” in a very raspy, wispy voice. I open my eyes and listen… Nothing. Start to go back to sleep…”GET THE BOY”, it was MUCH louder this time. Then my downstairs door SLAMS shut. I freak the F*ck out because nobody slept down there and we had no drafts.

Nothing really happened after that… I learned my lesson.

8. Are You For Real?

A lady I worked with brought one in to play around with one day. We messed with it and didn’t really think it was doing anything weird or moving on its own. So my coworker goes to lunch and leaves me all alone at the store. I didn’t have any customers so I went to the back where the board was. I put just my index finger on it very lightly and said, “are you for real?” That thing moved straight up to yes on its own! I ran out of the back room freaking out. Never touched one since.

9. Answers

A few friends and I mucked around with ouija boards a lot as teenagers. It had always been harmless fun. One night we were “speaking” with a young boy called Niall who had told us he had been murdered by his father. We “spoke” with him for a while and then got bored of the conversation, “left”, and eventually tried again. We started to speak with someone we assumed was an elderly lady, when actually it turned out it was Niall again. Someone must have asked “what do you want?” because the ouija pointer spelt out “Satisfy my requests” and then continuously spelt “answers” over and over again until we freaked out and just abandoned everything: the board, the house, the street.

I have never touched a Ouija board since. Early last year, a few of us got together again (having all gone our separate ways since high school) and we brought that night up – and everyone swore again that they hadn’t moved anything on purpose that night. Of course, someone could still be lying, or we could have inadvertently been moving the pointer without realizing, but just remembering the force of the pointer moving so rapidly – and what it spelt out – freaked me out enough not to want to mess with it again… just in case.

10. The Eagle

One of my best experiences involved talking with a spirit of air, which happened back when I believed only in the mental aspect of magic, and thought that the ‘spirits’ I was talking to were were just parts of my psyche. To test this I asked the spirit to show some kind of sign of its existence, which I did not expect to manifest. When I asked this a huge eagle (birds being part of an air spirit’s domain) landed right outside my window, stared at me, like, really stared into my eyes, looked down at the board and flew away. Maybe it was coincidence, but I closed down the communication, did a Rose Cross Banishing ritual and noped the fuck away from magic for a while. Good Times.

Inanimate Insanity II, ep 14.

I’m making a log of my feelings and thoughts during this ep, something tells me it’s gonna be a feels fest. Oh yeah, forgot to mention there’s spoilers in here, so be careful

Alright I had this idea less then 5 mins into the ep so I’m just gonna start to where Fan gets abducted. --~~~-- BRUH He just runs out to touch the egg like the papa he is and then just SHOOWP. there he goes, up in the green laser then fukin Intro with the chessy music. Are we just not gonna say anything about that?? Plus the convo of MePhone4 and MePad?

Hell yeah I can smell the story from here, 30 minutes of content here I come! ~~~ Alright HE HAS A FUCKIN SHEILD?! I wasn’t expecting a laser battle but damn ~~~ Test Tube’s livid and possibly gone bonkers. Punching a hole through the pop machine wasn’t the most necessary thing but I’ll back it up. Not to mention everyone’s kinda scared her at the moment too... Scared, well spoke a little too soon. ~~~ OUUU Oh SNAP- Suitcase telling of Test Tube like that- Now that’s tea.

~~~ I swear there’s too much going on and I love it. Fan’s stuck with the egg in a horribly minimalistic room, The contestants are trying to defeat the giant egg that was apparently sent by cobs (I don’t by it), and MePhone4 basically saying he’s going lone wolf on everyone and everything, ahh the tea- the drama- the sauce! I love every second of it and I’m not even a whole 10 mins into the ep. ~~~ Um Taco, the fuck you doing with MePad back there? Also Mic, I’m 99% sure you guys aren’t equals, or at least not in Taco’s mind. ~~~ Ngl the lil egg dude being scared of fan made me tear up a bit. I’m weak I know ~~~ Lightbulb makes my day so much better, I love that glass bulb full of gases. The flying buddy is a wonderful name for a rocket made of scrap metal. I’m not prepared for this elimination. ngl I forgot that this was even part of the show for a sec.

What’s the most historic thing that has happened in your lifetime? I can think of a few things. There’s 9/11 though I was barely conscious then, Osama Bin Laden’s death, the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, 2011 Japan earthquake, and the H1N1 and Covid pandemics. In my country, there were typhoons Ondoy and Yolanda, the Manila hostage crisis, and the Hello Garci election corruption scandal. Out of these, though, I’d say the heaviest ones to bear have been 9/11 and Covid.

What happens in your country regularly that people in most countries would find strange or bizarre?

We use a spoon and fork to eat and only really fancy shmancy restaurants give you a knife and a fork. Many eat with their hands as well, though this is way more common in provinces.

Everyone is late to everything and punctuality isn’t a thing, which is a big culture pet peeve of mine and I still like arriving early/on time anywhere.

This applies to Asia in general lmao, but shoes typically aren’t allowed or at least frowned upon if they go beyond the main entrance of houses.

We start Christmas as early as September, and we end it by the last week of January

When families get together, aunts/uncles will usually greet their nieces/nephews by asking if they already have a boy/girlfriend and/or telling them that they got fat. Horror relatives will greet you with both.

People generally like to keep to themselves, so striking a friendly conversation with strangers even if you have the pure, genuine intention to be simply friendly will just lead them to think you’re being a creep lol

What has been blown way out of proportion? The effects of video games and the question of it increasing violence among kids. Sure there’ve been gruesome accounts and no one’s invalidating those, but the overwhelmingly vast amount of people who play video games end up okay. I had so many killing binges on GTA but to this day I can’t even look at a real gun without shuddering, lol. When was a time you acted nonchalant but were going crazy inside? This is me every morning at work. 9 AM-11 AM is always the busiest period and it’s a lot of shit happening at the same time and a lot of morning deadlines to meet, but unlike college I can’t exactly call for a timeout whenever I want and have panic attacks anymore.

What’s about to get much better? I hope my fucking life is next in line. I’m tired of being tired of being tired.

What are some clever examples of misdirection you’ve seen? Probably all the times WWE would mislead viewers on a rumored return or debut of a big name by saying they’re in another city, implying that there’s no way they’d be appearing on a WWE show. This happened with Ronda Rousey and it was so fucking exciting when she finally showed up, haha.

What’s your funniest story involving a car? I don’t know, really...I don’t try to be funny when I’m on the wheel lol. Probably the time I let Angela use my car on campus, and when she needed to make a u-turn she ended up doing an awkward 90º turn and had an SUV nearly crash towards us. She had only driven a handful of times at that point so she was a little clumsy, but neither of us had any idea she’d fuck up a simple u-turn as badly as she ended up doing lmao.

What would be the click-bait titles of some popular movies? I can think of more clickbait posters than titles, but I can’t seem to remember what those films are called right now.

If you built a themed hotel, what would the theme be and what would the rooms look like? Themed hotels generally make me cringe. The most theme-y place we ever stayed at was the lodge in Sagada and it was really just more homey than anything. I’m not into themes when it comes to hotels as I find it a little cheap lol and I’ve always preferred a straightforward experience in the places I stay at for vacations.

What scientific discovery would change the course of humanity overnight if it was discovered? A way to live forever. < This is a good one. Also, maybe a huge asteroid or meteor bound to hit the planet that will make widespread extinction a certainty? I can’t even begin to imagine the panic that will rise from something like that.

Do you think that humans will ever be able to live together in harmony? I doubt it. It sounds difficult especially when you realize we’re 7 billion in total.

What would your perfect bar look like? As long as there aren’t any annoying younger college kids, who are almost always the loudest crowd and not in a good way, I’m okay with any kind of bar.

What’s the scariest non-horror movie? Some shots in 2001: A Space Odyssey are freaky as fuck. There were several scenes that included sudden HAL shots, and I did not enjoy those. How the fuck Kubrick managed to make a computer scary is beyond me. I’ve also always skipped the vortex scene with the creepy face shots after seeing it once.

What’s the most amazing true story you’ve heard? This is a really vague question... a few months ago I watched this video diary of parents who had a child born at like 25 weeks. Just way too early, basically. And they recorded the kid’s weekly progress, how she kept fighting, and her journey of being transported from one machine to another while she still needed them. It was beautiful to see her get bigger and plumper with each week that passed and it was just such a feel-good story to watch. I was so relieved when they showed footage of her as a normal, healthy toddler by the end of the clip.

What’s the grossest food that you just can’t get enough of? I know balut is pretty unpopular in the Western part of the world, but I’ll gladly eat a dozen of them in one sitting. In general Asian street food is usually considered gross - pig intestines, chicken intestines, chicken feet, pig ears, etc., but all are normal in the culture I was raised in.

What brand are you most loyal to? It’s annoying and I can’t help it, but Apple.

What’s the most awkward thing that happens to you on a regular basis? I try not to make it regular, but sometimes a mistake on my end will slip through in an email I’m sending and I have to send another email correcting myself and apologizing for the oversight. One of my least favorite parts about work.

If you had to disappear and start a whole new life, what would you want your new life to look like? I’m not wishing for much. I just wish it was easier to remove any trace of me on social media sites and have it be as if I never existed because I think that would make it easier for me to move on from...well, you know what. I still have trouble verbalizing it and I don’t feel like mentioning it tonight.

But idk, I like staying connected to my family and friends, so idk if I can ever achieve that. And that said, I think I’m bound to always keep seeing her around.

What movie or book do you know the most quotes from? I memorize a pathetic amount of dialogue from Love Actually, Twilight, Titanic, and The Proposal. What was one of the most interesting concerts you’ve been to? I guess Coldplay? They gave assigned lightsticks for each section and the crowd looked amazing when the production crew activated the lights for certain songs. I still have some of the clips because I posted them on Snapchat, so I’m really glad I did that; otherwise I would’ve lost the videos forever.

Where are you not welcome anymore? I’ve felt pretty unwelcome around her. How she could do a 180 and just not be interested in having anything to do with me is really soul-crushing.

What do you think could be done to improve the media? Fact fucking check, please. Also keeping sources balanced, avoiding clickbait headlines, being more objective than neutral, and don’t fucking sensationalize. How timely that this landed on a journalism graduate, hahaha.

What’s the most recent show you’ve binge watched? Start Up but I haven’t continued in the last two weeks :/ I think it’s because I know I’m nearing the finale and I subconsciously just don’t want to run out of Start Up episodes to watch lol but yeah, I still have four episodes left and I have no clue when I’ll watch it again.

What’s a common experience for many people that you’ve never experienced? Being close with their mom and considering them as their rock.

What are some misconceptions about your hobby? I don’t know enough about embroidery to know misconceptions about it.

What did you Google last? 2001: A Space Odyssey because I needed to be sure of the scenes I planned on citing in the question above that made me mention the movie.

What’s the dumbest thing someone has argued with you about? Not being able to find a restaurant to eat at. The backstory is a little complicated but it’s the same fight that led my younger brother to slap me across the face, and what subsequently led me to stop speaking to him.

If money and practicality weren’t a problem, what would be the most interesting way to get around town? Probably a tank.

What’s the longest rabbit hole you’ve been down? It’s always the ones on Wikipedia lol. I find weird and interesting articles on there all the time; there’s always something new to read.

What odd smell do you really enjoy? The rain, though sometimes it can be too overpowering when the humidity has been high. I like it for the most part, though.

What fashion trend makes you cringe or laugh every time you see it? Streetwear is so fucking dull to me. I never saw the appeal.

What’s your best story of you or someone else trying to be sneaky and failing miserably? Hahahaha this happened just a few weeks ago actually. My parents and I were headed out to have some ramen, and I opened the car door to hop onto the backseat. They didn’t prepare beforehand and they left the Christmas gift I asked for - a corkboard - in the backseat, so I was able to see the whole thing, unwrapped and with price tag and all. Their mortified faces knowing that their secret’s been blown were hilarious. They had no choice but to just give it up, and the corkboard has been on my wall since.

If you had a HUD that showed three stats about any person you looked at, what three stats would you want it to show? I guess the stability of our relationship, their general mood for the day, and erm how badly they need a hug because I’m always willing to give some.

What’s the best way you or someone you know has gotten out of a ticket / trouble with the law? My mom fake-cries her way out and it’s always been hilarious to see a grown ass woman do it and pull it off every time.

Tear gas makes people cry and laughing gas makes people giggle, what other kinds of gases do you wish existed? I don’t really want to manipulate people’s action in this way, so pass.

Kuroshitsuji (review)

Let me tell you about Kuroshitsuji. Disclaimer I'm not a hard Kuroshitsuji fan, I'm yet to watch the earlier OVAs but I will soon enough when I rewatch it all (update: I don’t feel like watching the original adaptation lol). I love Kuroshitsuji a lot, and I will try to talk about my point of view of it, and try to make you watch it if you haven’t because i really feel it’s an anime worth giving a try. This will probably be the closest thing to a review considering how long it is.

So I watched Kuroshitsuji, and like I've repeated over and over by now, I love my dosis of OP characters and Sebastian is clearly a main example of the prime OP character I'm talking about, not just some random "hey he so OP" character bs. I'm talking about someone as perfect in intelligence, physical strenght that it's unlikely they will struggle unless they elaborate a complex plot for them, which might just be why there aren't that many (tho I would watch regular dudes being increadibly outranked by this godlike being anytime). Back to it, Sebastian isn't just OP, he fucking defies all logic by breaking all human limits in each aspect there is, since well, he ain't one. The author has Ciel which is Sebastian's closest thing to a weakness. At first I didn't like Ciel that much. But I became really fond of him, all the cliche in shonen where the mc is rightfully good is kind of outplayed, sometimes it's nice to see them good main characters and their good hearted wills. My point is, Ciel gets shit down bois, he admits that he is selfish and that he is a despicable human being (although yeah deep down he cares for people etc, just like everyone). Even though Sebastian has a weakness to keep the plot moving, a great deal of people just wants to see him beat the shit out of a bunch of normal people lol.

Then we are introduced another species (which tbh I expected to be more demons that could be on the level of Sebastian but that only happen in the anime which isn’t really cannon), the Shinigamis or Gods of Death which I’m sure a lot of weebs already knew that. They leave on so many questions as of today but of all the concepts of Shinigamis I’ve watched so far, this one is really interesting, people that commit suicide and get punished by being a Shinigami and watching a lot of people die, making them appreciate life I guess, with greenish eyes and they need glasses cause they don’t see shit, something like that. I don't like that Joey classified it as a girl's anime (free and kuroko might just be tho) because of its “subtle yaoi”, it might have undertones since the author was a BL artist but that still doesn't change Kuroshitsubi is dark through its core, and all the yaoi there is, is in the head of them crazy fangirls (bless their souls for making the anime community grow lmao).

About the actual anime. This is kind of confusing for starters, like the order (not as much as monogatari tho I asure you) I will try to make it simple for people that wanna watch it.

First they adapted part of the manga arcs, Black Red and Indian Butler arc. Then it just throws some weird made up shit, that tbh I was ok with it at first. But it clearly is just a cheap ending that you can watch but should not settle for, at least compared to the original manga.

Kuroshitsuji II continues after this weird cliff-hanger, to end up in an even more bizare ending. Where u can conlude that is not related to the manga at all, since the anime ended there but the manga is still going.

Recently some blessed soul arranged it so that they adapted this 10 episode anime of the Circus Arc, where you can see the amazing quality of the plot and know that this IS the manga and the real Kuroshitsuji. Not so long after 2 OVAs followed the Murder arc (name pending). And it was beautiful, even more unpredictable, well kind of.

Anyway not until recently we've been granted with this MASTERPIECE, Book of Atlantis movie, which was far more interesting that I've would have expected (what can I say, anime movies are usually shit, based on animes and original stories about that anime that is) but since this was following the story this concluded with a big surprise. Just until now, there wasn't really a villain, or threat, they were more like daily conflicts each get resolved in the same time. But now this movie my bois, is what finally made me read the manga, cause I could NOT wait. If this movie doesn't pull you in, then maybe it's not the anime for you.

Now the manga...

I surprise myself each day with how hypocrite I am, but reading manga after saying I just hate it, is hilarious.

The wait was killing me, so I did something I do not regret but wishes I did later, I read the manga.

I’ve no idea how long till the ending of the anime, but the current wait is just painful! one chapter each month, ugh. There where 3 arcs since the movie, and they were really interesting, I can’t wait for them to get adapted, OH PLEASE LORD.

And one thing that bothered me about the last arc, is that I spoiled myself...but out of all the stupid ways to spoil myself, it was by fanart, I saw this stupid picture that was based on a common theory THAT IS CANNON AS OF TODAY, since the author gave so many clues, even in the anime, since the early days. So the impact wasn’t really the same, but I’m sure it was amazing to the rest!

In conclusion, so yeah, there you have it, probably it’s just a bunch of random words put together, but I will tell you this. If you want to start Kuroshitsuji, start the original series first, if the quality (as in visual or plotwise) is killing you, jump to circus, you can do that since the time between those 2 adaptations was so long that they decided to make a little explanation of characters that were previous that arc, so you should be just fine. After you watch circus you can decide whether you like it or not, and finish the original series later, the beginning is interesting after all!

OUAT ReWrite: 7x22 - Part 4

So this is one of the first chapters where I added an entire extra scene that I felt we were pretty much robbed off. There will be a few other instances later on where I also add scenes that I feel should have somehow made it into the episode, even if they had to add an extra episode or cut other stuff to make room. I don’t care how, they should have found a way.

Chapter Four: Robin, Robin & Regina in The Dream World

It really was weird seeing Baby Robin all grown up like this. Almost unbelievable. But after seeing the duplicate of Zelena’s one of a kind necklace hanging around her neck, as well as hearing her explanation as to how they ended up here in the first place, Snow and David found themselves trusting the girls were who they claimed to be much quicker than anyone else had. And as a result, they trusted that Alice and Robin were telling the truth about their grandson and the others all being in danger. Which meant, they also believed that they needed to get to them immediately if they were going to be of any help.

“Okay but, how do we know we’re not already too late?” Zelena asked suddenly, standing in front of her home and looking towards the others one at a time.

“Zelena!” Snow snapped. David silently reached over, placing a hand on Alice’s shoulder and giving her a quick comforting squeeze and a smile of assurance. He may not know her, but even he could see that Zelena’s words affected the young woman greatly.

“What? You think I want to be too late to save them?” Zelena demanded. “Of course not! But we can’t go in blind! We might be walking straight into a trap for all we know!”

Snow hesitated, realising the Wicked Witch had a point and she glanced towards her husband for a moment before finally shrugging her shoulders and looking back her. “We don’t have a choice. We’ll just have to have hope that we make it in time.”

“Nice, but I’d rather know for sure.” Zelena said, taking a step back. “Wait right here. I may have something we can use.”

“Where is she going?” Alice yelped, watching Zelena leave them and jog back into the house.

Robin shrugged helplessly, reaching over and taking Alice’s hand between her own. She knew every second they waited was driving her love crazy, wondering if her father and her friends were still safe wherever they were or if something awful truly had happened to them. Alice kept reaching up and rubbing at her chest like something was hurting and she couldn’t quite catch her breath. And to top it all off, it was only then that Robin noticed she was cringing and shivering every few seconds in between. It was really starting to worry her.

“Talk to me,” Robin whispered, squeezing her hands gently. “There’s something else that’s getting to you. I know there is. Tell me. What is it?”

Alice hesitated, then turned away so her back was to Snow and David, even though neither of them were trying to listen in on their obviously private conversation. “I… I think… I don’t think I’m the Guardian any more.” She croaked.

“Are you sure?” Robin asked, shocked. Alice nodded slowly, swallowing hard and rubbing at her chest again. “So… No more magic?”

Alice hesitated. “I think… I still have some magic… Normal magic I inherited from Gothel. But the Guardian power is gone. I can feel it.” She tensed and looked up at Robin, tears filling her eyes. “What’s going to happen to Rumplestiltskin? Without the power of the Guardian, he’ll never find his happiness with his true love. He gave up his chance before and now...”

“Oh, Alice.” Robin reached over, pulling her into a tight hug. “It’ll be okay. Rumplestiltskin’s come a long way. I’m sure he’ll find his happiness somehow. Don’t forget, he’s immortal. Maybe he’ll just have to spend a few more years searching for a new way instead.” She rubbed her back gently. “It’ll work out. I promise you it will.”

Alice nodded silently against her shoulder, curling up against Robin’s warm frame for comfort. But despite her assurance and kind words, Alice couldn’t help but worry about what her losing the powers of the Guardian would really mean for her father-figure like friend. He’d already sacrificed his happiness for her and Robin when he had the chance back in the Enchanted Forest, and now… It seemed like he had lost his entire opportunity to be happy by doing so.

Just then Zelena came back, rushing towards them and holding something carefully between her hands.

“What’s that?” Snow asked.

“Something Regina left here a while back. It’s a communication potion. Whoever drinks this will be able to walk into other peoples dreams so long as there’s a blood connection between them.” Zelena explained, holding it out to Robin. “With this, you can confirm for us that they’re all okay.”

“Why me?” Robin blinked, taking the bottle cautiously from her.

“Because you’ll be easier to carry than I will. This way we can head off at the same time as you double check everything for us.” Zelena explained. “Unless you want us all to hang around and wait until you’ve done it and woken up?”

“No!” Alice gasped, grabbing Robin’s hand. “Robin, please-!”

“Of course,” Robin said quickly, placing her own hands over Alice’s – a small action that still spoke volumes to Zelena as she stood by watching them. “Let’s do this.” Robin paused, glancing up at her mother, still holding Alice’s hands and the potion between her own. “Anything I should know beforehand?”

Zelena forced herself to snap out of her curious thoughts about her future daughter and the woman she was clearly heavily inclined towards and shrugged. She tried not to let her emotions show, including the confusing swell of pride rising inside her for seemingly no reason. “No clue.” She said, pleased by the calm tone to her voice. “I’ve never had reason to use it before now.”

“Okay then,” Robin sighed, uncorking the bottle and taking a deep swing of the contents inside before she could over think it.

The affects of the potion were immediate. The liquid had barely gotten down her throat when Robin’s body slumped drastically to the side and her eyes snapped shut. She was caught short of hitting the floor by her mother and her love stepping forward and catching her on either side seconds before she was passed over to David. He lift her up into his arms, holding her carefully so her head rest against his shoulder in a comfortable position before taking a small step back and nodding his head at them.

As they watched David take her from them, Zelena and Alice paused and spared a moment to glance at one another. Despite how much time had passed since they had originally run into each other, neither of them had actually been given a chance to so much as share a few words, and it didn’t look like there was going to be any change any time soon. There was still so much Zelena didn’t know about this younger woman, yet she knew enough to give Alice a warm and friendly smile and a silent promise for a real conversation when things weren’t so dire.

“Right. Let’s go save our grandson.” Snow said boldly, breaking the silence.

“Right.” Zelena agreed, forcing herself to turn away from Alice. No matter what happened today, she looked forward to seeing her beautiful daughter’s story play out in full.

They just needed to make sure it had the chance to, of course.

With that, Zelena tossed the magic bean down to the floor at their feet. In a flash the portal appeared between them, glowing and bursting with sparks of yellow light. None of them wasted any time, starting forward before it had even finished growing. One by one, Snow, David – carrying Robin – Alice and Zelena walked through into the waiting Wish Realm, at the exact same moment as Robin entered the Dream one and she was quickly greeted with a not-technically familiar face.

But a welcome one none the less.

O*U*A*T

“… Dad?” Robin gasped, staring up at the man she recognised only from pictures her mother and aunt had shown her over the years.

“Hey, there, Ro’.” He smiled softly back at her.

“How… How are…” Robin stopped short, glancing around.

They were standing outside her old home back in the Enchanted Forest. The Emerald Farm that she and her mother had set up so many years ago. But despite the location of the farm being in the middle of a cluster of busy trees that held a variety of wild creatures in every direction, the whole area was completely silent. There wasn’t even a single bird whistle from above or a subtle snort from the pigs Robin and mother had raised back on the farm.

“This is a dream.” She realised, looking back at the man she had mistaken for her father. “You’re not real.”

“Yes, it’s a dream…” He agreed, then chuckled. “But that doesn’t mean I’m not real.”

The Original Robin Hood was standing before her and looked exactly as he did in the last pictures he had even taken, just a few weeks before his death. He was the same, right down to the clothes he was wearing, and the multiple of brightly feathered arrows strapped across his back, although he was currently missing his famous bow – the one his daughter had inherited shortly after her twentieth birthday just before they moved to the farm – but otherwise, if he weren’t moving, Robin would have thought she was looking into an old picture.

Unsure how else to react, Robin just stared at him slack jawed. After a moment, she tried to explain to him why how he couldn’t be real. Because his soul was destroyed completely when he saved her aunt Regina from the king of the underworld… But in the end, nothing came out. She opened and closed her mouth, wanting to explain so many things that he probably already knew anyway... Yet nothing but air passed through her lips.

There were so many things Robin wanted to say to him, to explain and at the same time to ask, but instead of doing any of that, she just stood there. Eventually she was forced to shut her mouth, hoping that would keep her from bursting into the tears she suddenly wanted to release. She couldn’t explain it passed the fact that the very sight of him was almost too much. It was near overwhelming just standing here in front of him.

Then her father was stepping forward and before she could react to it, he pulled her lightly into his arms and hugged her. Robin found she was frozen from the shock of it. Not just from the bold move or because she didn’t technically know this man well enough to trust that he was who he claimed to be… But rather, because her father was hugging her. That was on the long list of things she thought she would never get in her life and yet… Here she was, in his arms.

After the original surprise wore off, Robin let go of her earlier suspicions in favour of her childish wants, wrapping her arms around him, returning the hug only much more desperately. It was warm and strong and there was a faint pine like smell coming from his shoulder. But more than anything, it was wonderful and Robin didn’t care if he was really real or not. In this moment, he was more real to her than anything else.

But despite how wonderful it felt to hold him and to be held by him, Robin forced herself to be the one to break their embrace. She lingered just enough to savour a few extra seconds to remember for the rest of her life before tearing herself free. After all, her living friends and family were still counting on her back in the real world.

“I need to find my aunt,” Robin explained, already wishing she could go back to just hugging him. “I need to make sure she’s okay. She might be in trouble and I need to check up on her here in the dream world.”

Her father nodded slowly. “Guess that’s why I’m here.”

“What?” Robin frowned.

“Well, I must be here for a reason.” Her father nodded. “I think it’s to take you to Regina.”

Robin felt a sudden ridiculous pressure of disappointment slap at her. Even though she still didn’t believe he was completely real, she had been happy to have this moment for just her and her father. Except now it turned out, it was a moment to be shared with her aunt as well. It was selfish but she felt stupidly jealous about it and yet, she couldn’t help the part of her that felt resentful over it at the same time.

Her father reached over, stroking his thumb over the side of her face gently. “It’s okay, sweetheart. This moment is still ours.”

Robin sighed sadly and shut her eyes at another wave of disappointment – only this wave was for a very different reason. “That just proves it. You’re not real.” She looked up at him. “How else would you know exactly what I’m thinking?”

“Can’t I just have a natural father’s intuition?” He chuckled, shrugging. “You are a beautiful girl with a very expressive face, sweetheart. And anyway… Does it matter if I’m truly here with you? Does being part of a dream make this,” he waved in the space between them. “Any less of a moment you’ll remember forever?”

“I guess not…” Robin mumbled.

“Then let’s go.” Her father grinned. “It’s time for our first father-daughter adventure.”

Even though she was still unsure on whether or not he was even real, Robin let herself smile at the idea of them sharing this mission together, and started to follow his lead, taking the path that led them away from the farm. A large part of her wanted to consider the possibility of him being real and consider that everything that was happening was real but she forced herself to push those thoughts aside before they could settle. It was too complicated and she’d likely never know the truth of it anyway. Instead she wanted to take this only chance she would have to talk with her father. Whether he were genuine or not.

“I…” Robin started, then stopped short and shrugged. “I’ve been doing what you do… I mean, I’ve been following your legacy.”

“I can see that.” He said, nodding down at her Enchanted Forest outfit, which was a very similar match to his own. “And I’m so proud of you.”

Robin knew they needed to find the others as soon as possible – to make sure they were okay and ready for the big rescue – but she still couldn’t resist pausing her walk in order to look up at him again. She gave him her full attention, leading to the tears to fill her eyes, despite her best efforts to hold them back. “You really mean that?”

“Of course!” Robin reached down, pinching her chin between his forefinger and thumb and lifting her head. “There is nothing in this world that could make me anything but proud of you. You have grown into a beautiful… Wonderful… Young woman. I’m just sorry I missed it.”

Robin nodded, sniffing slightly and pressing her lips together. She silently told herself that they really should get moving. She started to turn to do just that but found her feet refused to move and instead she blurted out; “I’ve met someone.”

A slight side smile pulled at the corner of her fathers stubbled cheeks. “Oh really? And do you love them?”

“Yes.” Robin breathed, feeling strangely nervous about admitting this to him.

“Then that’s all I need to know.” Her father beamed, pulling her into another hug, this time keeping his arm around her shoulders even when they pulled away and looking her in the eyes. “Love is the most important thing in this world. I lost out on a lot because I got in my own way with my sense of honour and what I believed was right ended up leading me away from my true love.” He hesitated, shaking his head sadly. “Never let anything take your love from you, Ro’. Fight for them. Fight for you both. And never leave their side if it can be helped. Because if your love is true… It can never be replaced.”

Reaching up to brush some of the tears from her face, Robin nodded at him. “I know, dad.” And she did know. All of this mess was happening because WishRumplestiltskin had lost his only love who helped guide him into being a better man. It was tragic and Robin couldn’t imagine what she would be like if she ever lost Alice from her life.

“I wish you could have met her,” Robin gasped, feeling the start of the sobs rising. She tried to tell him that he would have liked Alice but found she couldn’t quite manage it.

“I do too, Ro’,” Her father admitted, smiling sadly. “But I don’t really need to. I can see in your face right now; how happy she makes you. And that alone shows me just how perfect you two are together.”

If his words were meant to cease her tears, they failed. In fact, they had the exact opposite affect. Suddenly Robin was sobbing great bursts of tears and she couldn’t stop. So in the end she didn’t bother trying. Instead she moved back into her father’s arms and clung to him, crying into his shoulder while he soothed and rocked her, almost like if she was a baby again, just like he should have done for all the years they had been robbed of being together.

It took her a few moments to calm herself down, and she would have probably gone on for longer if she had been able to. But she couldn’t. Because as much as she wanted to be his little girl, to keep crying until her tears ran dry and stay in her fathers embrace and let him protect her from the world… Robin had to find and save the rest of her family.

“Let’s go.” Her father said, keeping an arm around her shoulders again and continuing to guide her down the dirt path. Back in the real world it would have led them to a nearby town where she and her mother often did their basic food shopping once a week.

At one point, the area around them seemed to shift and shimmer until suddenly they were walking down am unfamiliar street instead of the woods. It wasn’t one that Robin had ever been to before, with tall buildings either side of them and a series of oddly shaped signs hanging over each of the closed doors. It took Robin a moment of glancing around before she realised they must have passed through from her dream into her aunts.

“Where are we?” Robin mused quietly.

“I recognise it… This is outside the tavern where Regina was supposed to meet me for the first time…” Her father explained, glancing around in as much wonder and awe as she was. Silently, he led her over to a bland looking wooden door, one that stuck out no more than any of the others, before peering through the dirty glass window and smiling. “And there she is.”

Robin stepped beside him and looked inside, having to squint through the shadows before she caught sight of a shape sitting on a random wooden bench in the middle of the room. Her aunt was sat facing the door but in the darkness of the room it was hard to tell if she could actually see them peering in or not. One thing was clear, however, and that was that Regina was sat perfectly still on the spot, almost like she was waiting for someone…

“She’s waiting for me.” Her father said suddenly.

Robin felt a rush of cold fear run over her. “Is she…” She croaked, barely daring to say the awful thought aloud.

“No,” Her father said quickly, putting a hand against her back. “She’s not dead. She’s just sleeping, like you. It’s okay, I can tell, Regina is just fine.”

“Oh thank God,” Robin gasped, taking a small step back away from the door.

Now that she knew her aunt was safe, she felt that was enough. She didn’t really need to talk to her as much as she needed to let the others know what had happened. And she’d be lying if she said she didn’t also want to rush to get back to Alice.

However, just before she could turn away, she stopped at the sight of her father still staring longingly through the glass towards his soul mate. Robin hesitated, then touched his arm, waiting for him to look at her before wrapping him in a final hug. “Thank you, dad.”

“For what?” Her father blinked, returning the hug albeit confused.

“For everything. For bringing me here. For being a great role model. For being my dad… Even if you couldn’t be it for very long.” Robin whispered.

Her father tightened his hold on her slightly, clinging on. “You are most certainly welcome, sweetheart.” He said in a quiet shaky voice. When she finally pulled back and turned away, he called after her. “Wait, you’re not going to talk with her?” He asked, blinking and looking confused. It made him seem so very real and alive in that moment that Robin had to resist the urge to hug him again.

“No. I just came to make sure she was safe and alive and now, thanks to you, I know.” Robin smiled at him. “I can talk to her when we find her in the real world. But you go. Tell her we’re coming.”

Her father paused, smiling at his daughter, so proud of just how beautiful and mature she was. He reached over, running his thumb across her cheek and catching one of the last tears still clinging on before dropping his arm and chuckling. “Well, at least allow a father to wake his little girl…” He said quietly before leaning over and pressing a soft kiss to her forehead…

O*U*A*T

Robin woke with a slight jerk, sitting up in David’s arms and nearly falling out of them in her rush. She turned and found Alice was holding tightly to her hand, reaching to help steady her as her the sleep potion inside her faded away. It took her a moment for her mind to catch up on what just happened, and she numbly let herself be set back onto her feet, clinging to Alice the whole time for support. When she eventually had her thoughts straight, she looked up to find everyone was watching her expectantly.

Robin had a sudden desperate urge to tell them every little detail of her and her fathers meeting, but she also knew they were in a rush. So instead she looked towards her mother and Snow and nodded. “Aunt Regina’s okay.” She said quickly, squeezing Alice’s hand tightly. She could tell her love all the details once they were safe.

Robin knew Alice would want to hear about all of it.

O*U*A*T

Back in the dream world, Regina sat with her eyes shut. When she had closed them moments earlier, she was in a same cold dark stone prison she had been before. The one with the firm iron bars trapping her inside and a crumbling uneven ground for her to sit uncomfortably on. It was so cold and empty with no other prisoners in any of the cells nearby. Not even the guards had hung around at that point, or at least nowhere within her eye sight. So, with nothing else left to do, Regina had shut her eyes to block out her misery, and the next thing she knew, when she opened them up again, she was in a familiar setting. A tavern she had turned away from many years ago and unknowingly changed the entire course of her life.

A slight breeze brushed some of the hanging dim candle lights overhead, and Regina felt temporarily breathless. She was sure that she knew exactly where she was and while part of her knew it was a dream, another part of her was still trying to catch up with herself. She sat motionless, staring at the dark empty space of the room in front of her when there was a whoosh sound and she turned to find the fireplace behind her crackling with dancing flames that seemed almost to wave a greeting to her.

And then she heard a voice.

“The lady looks thirsty…”

For a moment, she barely dared to move. “Robin.” She breathed, forcing herself to turn and find a familiar, handsome face standing over her, having just placed a cup down on the corner table by her side. “Is this a dream?” She asked, already knowing the answer.

“Well if it is,” Robin smiled teasingly. “It’s an excellent one.”

“I thought you were gone,” Regina whispered, thinking back to Hades promise that his soul would be obliterated. For a while she had thought he had simply gone to the Wish Realm and been reborn there, which was why she had found him so young and unchanged but she had been wrong.

She had thought the Wish Realm a fake world, but now she knew the truth. The people, all of them, were real and the Robin she had found was not the Robin she had loved. She had let herself mourn her soul mate a second time and it was the only reason she was able to begin healing. Even her fling with Facilier had been nothing more than the steps she was taking to finally move on once and for all. Except now he was back yet again. Only this time, she knew – she just knew – this was the real man of legend, standing in front of her, smiling with eyes so much like his daughters it almost hurt to look into them.

“I am.” Robin nodded sadly, reaching over and placing a hand over her heart. “But I’m also in here. I’m always in here.”

Regina reached up, covering his hand with her own before she clutched it tightly, holding his fingers to her mouth and lightly kissing the skin. She almost let herself be overwhelmed by the moment and the sweet smell and feel of the love she had lost pressing against her face. Almost allowed herself to forget all other thoughts except for the ones of her and her true love being together again…

But then an image of WishHenry having WishRumplestiltskin whisper in his ear flashed in her mind and brought her back to herself. She had no idea how much time she had with him but she knew now that there was just so much to say.

“I’ve missed you.” She smiled, a weight lifting from her like it was a secret she had been holding for such a long time. Then she felt a new weight drop down on her like a bucket of cold water. “I might be joining you soon…” She looked down. “My own son wants me dead.” She paused and shook her head, because no, that was wrong. She had to stop thinking like that. “I mean… There’s another version of my son who wants me dead. I… I was never part of his life and now he hates me… For what I did… To his grandparents…”

“They were hurt,” Robin nodded understandingly, moving around to sit down beside her. “Do you want to talk about it? Tell me what happened?”

Regina shut her eyes, fighting back the tears. “I killed them. Even when I’m not a villain, I still am.”

“You’re a woman who has made mistakes,” Robin pressed, leaning close to her. “You can’t undo what happened, Regina. And yes, it was bad, but you can’t fix things if you let yourself collapse under the weight of past sins. Imagine where you would be if you let all your previous crimes define who you are as a person right now?”

Regina smiled, blinking back the tears and feeling a familiar coldness of whenever she was reminded of her past evil acts. She liked it when everyone pretended that was another person but the truth was, it wasn’t. It was just her. It was always just her. And Robin was right. If she let herself wallow in her own self pity, she would never make up for it.

“After I realised they were real… Around the same time I realise the Wish you wasn’t the real you… I wanted to just end it.” She swallowed. “Snow and David have become such close friends of mine and I killed them. And I left poor Henry to suffer, without an explanation, without help, even without a mother. I wanted to make up for it but…”

“You couldn’t get back there to do it.” Robin nodded. “To be honest, even if you could… There’s not much you could have done for him. And your realm’s friends and families needed you. There was no time.”

“I still should have tried.” Regina sniffed.

“And I should have searched harder for Marian. I should have trusted Zelena. I should have been there for my daughter. There are so many things I should have done and I didn’t do any of it. And those should of and could of’s will remain with me, even in death… But they don’t define me.” Robin pressed, leaning as close as he could get without kissing her. “Regina, if you want to make up for what you did… Now is your chance. You’re back in the Wish Realm, you’re facing the other Henry right now.” He smiled at her. “And I believe you can make things right, like you have done so many times in the past.”

His kind words warmed her even more than the fire still burning behind them and Regina felt the tears fighting to be allowed to flow freely but still she held them back. She sniffed, unable to stop a few tears leaking out from the corner of her eyes and slowing rolling down her cheeks. “It’s not fair, Robin.” She said finally. “Our story was so short…”

“Doesn’t make it any less epic.” Robin grinned.

Regina reached up, touching the side of his face and feeling the familiar stubble along his jaw. She leaned forward and their lips meant and it was almost like he was alive again, like this was the reality. When she pulled away, she almost expected the door to open and Roland and Robin to come running in with the others for a happy dinner together. But instead they were alone in the tavern and Regina remembered, as much as she wanted it… It wasn’t real.

Then Robin was taking her hand and holding it tightly, giving a soft squeeze…

O*U*A*T

And, in a flash, Regina had woken up as well. She was back in the cave-like prison under the castle. Back with the chains around her wrist holding her place by locking her to the ground and keeping her from having any hope of escaping – not that she would get far without her magic but it seemed WishHenry didn’t care. The chains were probably his way of just reminded her how trapped she was.

For a moment she felt herself grow cold as the dream rolled over her and she was reminded it was never going to be her real happy ending after all. She almost let herself be taken over by that feeling of misery and loneliness. After all, her Robin was dead, Roland had left years ago, WishHenry wanted her dead. It seemed WishRumplestiltskin was really going to win this…

And then she felt something in her hand. It was in the hand Robin had been holding just before she was woken up. Slowly, she lift her hand up in front of her and uncurled her fingers, revealing a perfectly preserved red feather lying against her palm. For a moment she felt stunned and shocked at the very sight of it. She swallowed, staring at the feather and blinking slowly. Then felt a smile slowly crawling onto her face. It was Robin’s feather. The one Zelena had lost all those years ago.

It had found it’s way back to her.

And from that dainty little feather… Regina drew a newfound strength she didn’t know she had left in her. Smiling, she held the feather close, shutting her eyes and leaning back, she knew things would be okay.

Evil… It never truly wins.

The final episode treated the Season 7 cast like shit and to me, the scene with Papa Robin Hood is ultimate proof of that. I see no reason what's so ever why Regina couldn't have at least mentioned his daughter to him during her scene. It was a real slap in the face that annoyed me to no end and so...

1. I fixed it by including a whole scene of them together. This scene also allowed me to give a reason as to why Robin suddenly appeared now of all times (because if it was just a dream it would be one thing but it clearly wasn't since he gave Regina the feather). So in my version, we get a reason for his appearance and some daddy daughter time as well.

2. I changed some dialogue between Robin and Regina. I put more focus on the fact that WishHenry isn't actually Regina's son, but she still obviously cares for him because the show itself kept seeming to forget that WishHenry is a different person to RegularHenry. I also once again brought her crimes against WishSnowing back to centre stage. Regina became friends with real Snowing so I think it should have affected her more to kill their alternative counterparts. I added some exposition as to when Regina realised the Wish Realm was real and show that she did mourn for what she did and it did affect her but - understandable so - she was unable to do anything about it at the time.

i like the show! well idk if i love it but sure. i think it’s decent lmao. i understand what you’re saying. for here it bothers me less but i certainly don’t think it was OOC. immature and stupid but like...that’s.....what they are. i also don’t have a problm with the timing from a technical point.

however, when i started the show? i had NO clue what concept of time it was. and that was very annoying. tehy redeemed it bc of the comedy aspects (the first time shu yi sees shi de is so fucking good, i really loved the shot and editing; it’s hilarious and silly) and i started to go with the flow of the show through that. but the fucking concept of time in the show in general esp with repetitive outfits (i understand that they are more likely to wear multiple outfits as well, it’s just that you have to split it up or it i sconfusing visually and looks like the same scene twice or just a full day of shooting which it could be but then something should change in the clothes. this is just an ex~~*~*) and partof that is they have this already controlled narrative i guess.

i have to admit as well...i skipped episode 1. and most of 2. i was like i rly dont want to see someone slap a pereson even if they were like. not together. it’s just not cute also not in front of ppl. and then when they were yelling and bla bla i was like listen ladies lets calm down. too much angst in a boring way. what they have now is good. also they should probably like estrange the father but i doubt they will.

i really liked tingting from my engineer a lot (idk if u have seen) she’s so fun and unapologetic. i love how much she drinks and if someone tells her to be ladylike she says no. and i appreciate that in the show when girls were rude to her she said nothing about the girls but said “NO IM NOT LUCKY TO HAVE ALL MALE FRIENDS?” i really want to see her more in the next season. obviously tiffy is goat. super excited to see how their rship develops.

So Sherlock season 4 was apparently a dumpster fire so there were these like... deep rabbit holes of crazy that people fell into, looking for “clues” in the finale that “proved” the episode was fake and that there would be a “real” episode (or like a whole new season), and they were convinced that this entire other BBC show was really a “decoy” and when it aired it would actually be the “real” Sherlock season 4... idk all the leaps of logic involved in this, but it was NUTS

Apparently there are still people out there who are ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED that the finale was “fake” and they’re still looking for clues to divine the exact date the “real” episode will air

I swear to every god that I am not making this up

The Masked Singer Season 3 Episode 7: Last But Not Least, Let’s Meet Group C (Kickoffs Commentary and Guesses)

Hello fellow Masked Singer lovers! Welcome (or welcome back) to my commentary and guesses for the Masked Singer. Last night, we meet the last group of 6 masks for the season, Group C. The group consists of the Night Angel, Bear, T-Rex, Rhino, Astronaut, and Swan.

Evaluating the whole group, like I did with Group B, this is the most bizarre group of masks ever, like wow. That reveal was absolutely insane, so let’s just get right into it...

As you know, this is a **SPOILER ALERT**, avert your eyes now if you don’t want to know what happens during this episode. This is a disclaimer, don’t say I never warned you.

Ok so the first Group C mask to go home was:

*DRUMROLL PLEASE*

THE BEAR

Alright, so I would be lying if I said I didn’t see this coming. She was alright, I was between her and the T-Rex for the elimination with my money going to the T-Rex but whatever she wasn’t the best vocally out of the group at all. Having said that, I would never ever in a million gazillion years ever would have guessed correctly who she was... I am not going to lie the weirdest thing I have seen on this show was this person singing Baby Got Back.

And the person that made me laugh out of shock and was revealed to be the Bear is...

SARAH FREAKING PALIN (and I thought Tony Hawk was shocking... ya I am still shook at how bizarre this is... u think I am lying? Look at the picture...yup that is Nick Cannon twerking, I said bizarre and I didn’t joke)

Ok her performance was not what I expected from former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee... heck, I never thought a politician would be on the Masked Singer. Not getting into politics, because I really hate politics with a burning passion, but wow I never would’ve thought a republican would be on the show. AND HER SINGING BABY GOT BACK?! Wtf, and she freaking knew all of the words!! Like, I am impressed not gonna lie. People have been hating her on the internet but kudos to her for going for it and yup it’s weird but she went for it and wasn't scared to be judged. I respect that, you go Sarah Pailin, you rap about big butts.

Anyways, looking back at the clues, it makes sense:

Ice Skates= she always talks about how she is a hockey mom

As and Ks playing cards= AK= Alaska Abbreviation

Calendar with “live”written under Saturday= SNL = Tina Fey impersonating her on SNL

At the start of the show, Nick said that there are 2 people who were voted Time’s Most Influential People = she was one of them

Alright, so shock aside, let’s talk about the remaining contestants going to the playoffs:

1. The Night Angel

Performance: I really enjoyed the Night Angel’s performance even though her mask is so creepy and kind of hard to look at. However, she is one of the strongest, if not the strongest, singer in this group. Her voice is fantastic and I love her tone. You can tell she’s been doing this for a while. I do know exactly who this is, my guess being:

KANDI BURRUS (Real Housewives of Atlanta)

The clues make a lot of sense to my guess:

Doors with “4,” “5,” and “6″ = She sang a song called “4,5,6″

Group of grandmas= has a restaurant called “The Old Lady Gang”

Men in duck bills= she wrote “bills, bills, bills” for Destiny’s Child

2. The Astronaut

Performance: Ok, so yes I get it he was pretty shaky but he was nervous give him a break. I don’t care though because he is my favorite and I love him so much. I really want him to go far in the competition because I know how he sings and he is fantastic. Having said that, from the moment I heard his voice, I was convinced that he is:

HUNTER HAYES

Ok, so the Internet agrees with me based on voice, but the clues also correlate:

“if you want something enough”= one of his most popular songs is Wanted

“This might sound crazy”= another popular song, I want crazy

“Code Blue”= releasing a 3-part album called Wild Blue

Skeleton Foot= duet with Victoria Justice 2011 version of Footloose soundtrack

Beginning of show, Nick also said that one of the masks won a Guinness World Record, which Hunter did for the most city performances in 24 hours

3. T-Rex

Performance: Ok, this is not my favorite performer I am not going to lie, but she got so much energy wow. She isn’t a singer like not at all, but she is a great dancer and capped full of energy. I burned calories with her, damn. There is only one person who is this energetic and bonkers... and I am so happy that finally a YouTuber is on the show, so my guess is:

JOJO SIWA

Her voice and energy gave it away to me, but also her clues are so obvious:

“Put into a magical world where I was one of dozens talented creatures pirouetting the land” = reference to Dance Moms where she appeared for 2 seasons

Drawing with North and West= famous playdate with Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West

Bow and arrow= her line of bows and the fact that she always wears them in her hair

A balloon with the shape of a U with white, blue, and pink stars= the star colors are reminiscent of what she wears/her branding and the U could mean YouTube, since her channel is so popular (she is a YouTuber after all)

The other person who was Time’s most influential person was Jojo, last year being most influential on the internet.

4. Rhino

Performance: Ok, I love Rhino. He is such an unexpected favorite for me. I love his voice, he is such an amazing vocalist. Wow, he is amazing. The thing is I feel the same way I did at first with the banana. Is he a country singer or is he an athlete? I really cannot tell. Some people are saying it’s Tim McGraw. Others are saying it’s an athlete and I also heard some guy from Lady Antebellum at one point. I have no idea who he can be.

The clues were pretty confusing:

Bike with butterflies on the handlebars

Pitcher with tea

Magazine covers with Masked Quarterly and “Rhi-no? More like Rhi-yes!”

5. Swan

Performance: I really liked Swan’s performance, she is pretty awesome. I’ll admit she had a shaky start but she’s pretty good. Her voice isn’t as strong and powerful as Rhino, Night Angel, and Astronaut, but that doesn’t make her any less amazing. Also, she has the costume I would want to have if I were on the Masked Singer. Based on the voice, I think she is:

JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT

It makes sense because of the clues:

Ghost= she starred on the show Ghost Whisperer

Heart pool floatie= “Love” her middle name

Megaphone= starred in horror movie in 90s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” where her character is screaming

She is on 911, a crime show on Fox, which is the same network as The Masked Singer.
