fucked up that you can dry and rehydrate mushrooms. i feel like if you tried to dry out a mushroom it would start speaking to you in a tiny human voice offering you three wishes in exchange for a drink of water, and if you gave it the water it would immediately run away on little feet while laughing impishly. and if you refused it would vanish in a sprinkling of tiny lights and a great disaster would soon befall your house or whatever
“I go now to my long rest in the timeless halls beyond the seas and the Mountains of Aman. It will be long ere I am seen among the Noldor again; and it may be that we shall not meet a second time in death or life, for the fates of our kindreds are apart. Farewell!' He died then in the dark, in Tol-in-Gaurhoth, whose great tower he himself had built.
One more drawing based on a stress-relief doodle from a work meeting.
The death of Fingon. This scene is so terrible and emotional(at least makes me emotional) and once again, I couldn't find enough artwork that captures it. So I made one myself. Also here, I wanted to make light that looks like tree-branches ♥
do chemists ever, like. get extremely fixated on this One Weird Molecule That Will Go Great With EVERYTHING
& then they totter around their lab trying to figure out every possible weird way this molecule can react with other stuff
& eventually they run out of all the obvious candidates, so they start working themselves into a tizzy, b/c what the fuck do you MEAN xeon won't react with my cool molecule. fuck YOU noble gases. i'll show YOU who's boss
& then they waste SO much time and energy pioneering bizarre new techniques to make this reaction kinda sorta work, but in circumstances that ONLY exist in a lab but never ever in nature in a million years
...because i feel like this is my general approach to what is known as "shipping" in fandom circles
