Things that are official TMNT 2003 canon

Leonardo has the longest list of favorite foods, including rice, fish, salads, apples, and pizza (funnily enough, the list doesn't include sushi, although Donatello says in his profile that it's one of his favorites, alongside pizza)

Leonardo hangs Japanese lanterns in his room to make it more relaxing. He's also the only turtle to sleep in a traditional Japanese futon.

Raphael is the only turtle who doesn't have pizza listed as one of/his favorite food. (His favorite food is cereal.)

He also insists that the original Jurassic Park book is better than the movie. (I mean isn't the book always better than the movie?)

Raphael sleeps in a hammock because "sleeping on a mattress is for wimps." It should be noted that there are pillows beneath it, meaning he probably falls out of it on a regular basis.

One of Donatello's nicknames is actually spelled "Donny," not "Donnie" as it tends to be within the fanbase.

Donatello keeps a photo of April in his room, stating "she's kinda nice to have around." (I don't ship 03 Apriltello for obvious reasons, but there's no denying he had a puppy crush on her.)

Michelangelo is a Jimmy Buffet fan while Donatello is stated to enjoy The Roches.

Michelangelo has a drum set in his room that he plays "all night." He also has a working jukebox.

April likes most music. Except opera. She doesn't like opera.

April's hobbies include antiquing, martial arts, reading, and "talking to interesting people."

Casey likes Mexican and Italian food, along with pretzels and... beverages. He was definitely going to say beer.

Casey also apparently likes Mike Hammer books.

Shredder's favorite colors, in his own words: "Purple, the color of royalty, as it befits me. Black, the color of the void that only I can fill. Red, as it flows from the lifeless bodies of my enemies!"

personality: wellll raph would say..strong in the rough and tough sense!! and protective, and trying to be more observant & mindful , hmm also sociable raph hates to be alone, caring, there’s probably more but let’s keep moving!

Profile (2/4) for the Rottmnt cast. Leo’s human design was when I really started getting invested with each character’s individuality! I added blues and greens and wrote his font in an elegant swirly way to differentiate from Angelo’s loose writing. His outfit fits a fancy boy style while keeping some sportiness to it. The knee brace was a parallel to the 2012 story, although I covered his arm as a way to hid his scarring from the Kranng invasion. Sorry guys, Leo didn’t lose his arm in this AU… yet. >:)

He also gets crescent moon earrings to match the star theme!

Profiles in Villainy

Shredder

Oroku Saki was born the son of the leader of a powerful and ancient order of ninja known as The Foot Clan.   The Foot Clan were destroyed by their rivals in the Hamato Clan when Oroku Saki was an infant. The orphaned Oroku was taken in and raised by the Hamato leader. 

Oroku Saki grew up to be a fierce ninja warrior and, though he was treated well by the Hamatos, he bore a deep resentment toward them and a desire to reestablish The Foot and destroy the Hamatos.  This resentment was further compounded by a feud over a woman Oroku Saki loved.  He orchestrated a sneak attack that burned the Hamato monastery to the ground and slew nearly the entire clan.  Oroku Saki’s face was badly injured in the attack and he took to always wearing a mask that covered his burned face.  

From there on out, Oroku Saki came to be known as ‘The Shredder’ and he rebuilt the Foot Clan into a powerful and renown order of mercenary ninja.  Years later, The Shredder brought his soldiers to New York City in search of a surviving member of the Hamatos, the sensei known as Master Splinter.  The sensei had taken in a group of young, mutated turtles whom he had trained into an elite force of ninja.

Allying himself with the villainous Krang and the hapless minions Bebop and Rocksteady, The Shredder made it his mission to take down Master Splinter and destroy his group of fun-loving, pizza-eating mutant ninja turtles.  Fortunately, Splinter’s guided his ninja turtles well and they have managed to stay a step ahead of The Shredder, regularly thwarting his diabolical plans.  

Actors James Avery, Scott Rayow, Kiyoyuki Yanada and others have provided the voice for Shedder in his various appearances in animated series.  The villain first appeared in the 1984 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book; his first appearance in animation was in the debut episode of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, airing on December 14th, 1987.
