The agreement was made, and the wedding became expensive, just as Queen Alkmini had predicted. There were many prominent guests, and even the big throne room filled up.

The bride and groom didn't seem overjoyed, but perhaps they were affected by the seriousness of the moment.

The King of Koiláda Chalkoú was invited but did not come to the wedding. He was probably still a bit crossed, even though he had received a handsome compensation, in form of horses, cattle, gems and precious metals. However, he did send his sister to represent him at the wedding, the incredibly beautiful Princess Amphiera.

Other honorable guests were of course Prince Heraklis and his family. It was the first time little Myrrhini was attending publicly, but she seemed more interested in the birds outside than in the wedding ceremony.

The bride's family were also there, even if it was quite a long journey for them, and for that reason little prince Philokratis was left at home. Queen Laonome was not feeling well, it was possible that she was expecting again, so they took a more discreet position in the throne room, to be able to slip out to the private chambers if necessary.

The distinguished ladies of Manthos were all there, of course, and Kyria Figaleía wouldn't miss it for the world.

It truly was a grand celebration, and everybody agreed that it had been a fabulous ceremony.

Except maybe for the bride and groom.

The hot day started out normal for Rhodopis in the fields, but back at the villa Drizella was facing tragedy.

The heat had become too much for her and it was only Lady Tremaine's quick talking with DEATH that saved her eldest from an early grave.

Drizella was shaken by her close death and ended up on her sister's doorstep.

"Drizella!" Anastasia was delighted to see her sister, it had been almost a year since they had last met. "Oh I'm so pleased you're here there is someone I want to introduce to you."

Drizella looked around at the small house Anastasia lived in. It was barely two rooms and cluttered with life. Still her sister looked happier than she'd ever seen.

"Meet my son Ioannes, he was born at the end of summer."

The baby was initially wary of this stranger, but he soon warmed up to her awkward ways.

Later when he was sleeping Drizella shared everything that had been happening. Finally she sighed, "Are you happy sister?"

"I'm the happiest Diszella, it's not how I thought life would go, but with Theo and Ioannes I'm complete." Anastasia said gazing down at her son's sleeping face.

another test of time-oriented download! this would be mammut's early civ living for the sims 4, converted to the sims 2. it works best for the roman era, i think, but you can use it in other eras and it would probably fit in as well 😊

everything has been compressed and there are 4 items in total. to reduce the amount of files, the coffeetable is repo'd to the bench. hope you guys find uses for these in your game! ♥

There’s not a lot of early civilization* stuff out there, so pardon the anachronistic jumble of cc from all over the place, but we do what we can with what we have! 

It’s at least all historically plausible. Especially as this family has being trading around the known world for many generations and picked up wives and clothes and tastes along the way. ;)

If you know of anymore EARLY civ stuff, including early Egyptian, PLEASE let me know. I need to populate this whole world and even a few more options would be well appreciated!

*not classic civilization but early. Think Mesopotamian, Minoan, Indus Valley, early Egyptian, etc. The History Challenge leaves it out and jumps from stone age (lasted until 3,300 BC) to, like, Julius Cesar (100 BC-44 BC) and it hurts my little history nerd heart!

no picture bc i moved her out but Ayni also had a daughter Called Oni 

and just because my game is hilarious Tsabi had twins in a household of already 10 sims so now there’s 12 sims in total and yeah you guessed it lmao it was twin girls im 3 gens in now and no boys yet - at this point i want to see how long the game will keep this going! 

I’m waiting for Thali to be a YA then im getting her pregnant and kicking her out.

Time had come for Edda’s hair to turn grey as well. She wasn’t too worried about reaching her old age however, having accepted a long time ago that time wasn’t a thing to be stopped. She returned to her studies with her cauldron, but this time something went horribly wrong. All of a sudden a dark, putrid smoke started billowing out from it and she fell to the floor. Roko and Hel, who had been excitedly observing her, also fainted. It seemed to affect all of them except the little boy, Lykos, who got very scared. Thankfully, his father and grandmothers woke up a little while later. This seemed to put Edda off using the cauldron and she decided then that she wouldn’t use it when others were near in the future.

It was soon time for Leon to become a child, with all that it meant. For him, much stayed the same. He was still a calm boy with great imagination who loved to play with his sticks and stones, much as his father had done when he was younger. And he loved being a big brother, adoring little Lykos with all his heart.

Wheel of the Year mod by Litherium

From Litherium on Mod the Sims, this is a default replacement of the yearly holidays. From the Mod the Sims Page:

“Replaces the default holidays in Seasons with 8 holidays based on the Wheel of the Year. Ostara, Litha, Mabon and Yule are 'major holidays' and have no school/work. When season length is set to 7 days they occur on Wednesday. Beltane, Lughnasadh, Samhain and Imbolc are 'minor holidays' and school/work will happen as normal. On 7 day seasons, they occur on Saturday. This mod is compatible with the 14 and 21 day season lengths, with major and minor holidays alternating each Wednesday on 14 days, and alternating with an empty week in between on 28 days. I recommend starting a new save when using this mod. - Did you hear him, Noor? "Hope you continue your science career, even though you are now married" and yadda yadda. He is such a hypocrite!

The families had come together to celebrate Mezamura's wedding, and Teteriu had just finished his speech for the bride.

- I'm sure he meant well, Eira. He wants what best for his sister doesn't he? And Aurelio seems like a decent man.

- Yeah, it's nothing wrong with Aurelio, he is fine. But Teteriu just say things he doesn't live by. Pretending to be something he isn't. If he really meant what he is saying, why didn't he let me continue my studies? And this big party... giving them your old house... he is just showing off.

- The party is great though, and we all needed something to celebrate after this terrible summer.

- Oh sweet Astanna, yes! First uncle Itaja, then Telamon, and Nashuja wanting to leave Manthos for good. It sure hasn't been joyful.

- Well uncle's death wasn't that unexpected, he was getting older, and I'm just grateful Nashuja was still here when he passed. But Telamon...?! Did you learn exactly what happened?

- Not really. They just told me he was found dead outside the shelter where he lived. From what I've heard he had stopped drinking, but maybe he had a relapse? Or maybe he was robbed? Or struck by lightning? I don't know. I'm still in a bit of a shock, because deep down I did hope to see him again.

- So how is aunt Simadhne coping? Is she feeling better now?

- Well you know. Since we moved in after uncle's death she's been kind of busy with helping with the children and cooking for us all. But when Nashuja is leaving... I fear she will fall apart. We will all miss him so much. And knowing we will never see him again... It is unbearable!

- And Pamesijos? Will he go with him?

- Not if I can prevent it, Noor whispered. How can I loose them both?

- Really makes you think about the sacrifice they made, doesn't it?

- What do you mean? The war?

- I mean our parents Noor, when they let us both go. We were so young! About Khará's age actually! Can you imagine how it must have been for them?

- Well it was different. They wanted to keep us safe.

- Yes, exactly! Not so different from this situation, when you think about it.

- I've never thought about it that way, but you are right.

- But I'm not sure if I ever could have let Khará go, under any circumstances, so I totally understand your reluctance to let Pamesijos go with Nashuja.

- You will have to let her go some day anyway...

- What?

- I mean, she will move out, get married, have her own household. All of our children will. It is terrible, but true!

- Noor! Do you have to talk about such excruciating future visions? Can't we just enjoy this party and have some fun?

- ♫♫ Ναι, να ζήσουν, ευτυχισμένοι για πάντα! ♫♫

The King's death was unexpected, even with a war going on. The body was to be taken back to the palace, but the men were allowed to give their respects first.

- The King instructed me to convey his gratitude to you, Captain Trypitis told Nashuja. He wanted me to give you some of his valuable stones, his horse Kappa and his sword.

- To me? His horse? The same horse that killed him? What am I going to do with that beast? It's a curse, not a gift, I don't know anything about horses!

- Well it is yours now. It was the King's wish. For your travels, he said And he really loved that horse, even if it killed him I believe he wanted someone to take care of it.

- My travels? Oh. Yes, that makes sense. Okay, I will try my best to honor his wishes. I will take care of the horse. As best I can.

In the beginning Nashuja was intimidated by the size and appearance of Kappa. He was cautious and patient, and made sure to have carrots or apples whenever he approached her.

After some weeks, there was certainly more trust between them.

The war continued, and Nashuja was again fit for fight. The men in general were not as motivated as they had been. The war-weariness probably had to do with the lack of progress. Victory seemed impossible.

Then, about three months after King Ifiklis death, they received the message from the regent; Prince Heraklis. He had made a deal with the enemy. The conditions were harsh, but peace was finally reached. The agreement was formally approved by the new king; the very young King Mijararos I. He was now formally the head of Manthos, but since he was just a child it was of course his uncle who had the real power and authority in the kingdom.

It was a very special day wen the soldiers marched home to Manthos. They weren't overly excited about the agreement Prince Heraklis had made, they felt that he had sold them short. There were rumors that he had betrayed them, his own people. They said he probably was on the enemy's side from the beginning, a renegade. Some even said that the former King had found out about it and confronted him, and that Prince Heraklis then killed his own brother because of it.

The citizens of Manthos were however ecstatic that war was over and that their boys were coming home.

- I can hear a but coming. I will not force you to get married, BUT...

- Well, it's not really a BUT, but.. well anyway, this doesn't mean that I will approve of whatever you should choose. There are limits. You know what I mean.

- Ha! I knew it! Like I've said before, I feel that it's too early for me to get married in the first place, but when I do, I want it to be with someone I love, and I love Mpatíni. Any marriage to someone except her would be gross. So it doesn't really matter.

- Teo ...

- And I must say it's a bit unfair when you judge someone just based on gossip and hearsay.

- I just want what's best for you!

- Yes you keep saying that mother, and I know you love me and all, but you don't know her! Yes she is poor, and yes people talk bad about her, but she is a beautiful person, and she is hard working and kind, and smart. Why can't you just give her a chance? At least meet her?

- Teo it's not that easy...

- It's very easy! Unless you care more about the neighbor's gossip than my happiness. Ugh! I'm disappointed.

- I really don't know what to do with that boy, Noor confessed to her sister. He's such a smart kid, but he doesn't realize what the reality of the matters are!

- I understand you sister, but I do understand him too. People in this village talk too much, both you and I know that.

- Yes, but this is marriage! You know what I mean Eira!
