Fellow Travelers Rewatch Party | episode 1

Content warning: NSFW, strong language (likely)

This will be mostly a reaction and based on observations, given the knowledge about how things will unfold in later episodes.

What a perfectly beautiful way to start a show! The song flows amazingly with the cinematography and it encloses around the viewer like a warm hug, simultaneously delivers an underlying sadness, the lyrics preparing us of what lies ahead, a tragic love story that yearns to end happily, but won’t. It sets the mood and gently announces with a toe-deep dive that we’re about to journey backwards into a different decade. I love it! <3 (song: Stevie Wonder - If It’s Magic)

Marcus drives down the sophisticated suburban lane to meet Hawk in his perfectly cultivated family nest to hand over the package, according to Tim’s wishes. It’s sweet to know that he supports and protects Tim, because - as we find out later - he knows Hawk and his shenanigans the best.

Promotion party! Lucy and Hawk certainly know lots of people. Also, how many grandchildren do they have? I’d assume the other kids are probably the children their guests brought to the party, playmates of his granddaughter, right? No, wait, Lucy says „grandkids“ - so there are more than one?

Lucy: The grandkids are going to miss Hawk so much when we got to Milan. I don’t know what Kimberly’s going to do. - Hawk’s a beloved granddad.

Hawk: Well, she’ll ship them over in the diplomatic pouch. - The sass and wit never ceases.

Lucy: I almost gave up my dream of moving to Italy with the man I love.

Hawk: In the end, sh settled for going with me. - OH. The foreshadowing, the ambiguity. The HURT. For BOTH of them. My heart.

Did we ever find out how and when Lucy got to meet Marcus, though?

Marcus is sooo distressed about the AIDS situation killing all his friends, his beloved ones around him. I want to hug him!

Marcus: Tim doesn’t want to hear from you. He asked me to make that clear. - It’s another verbalisation of ‚Promise you won’t write’, Tim might have been hoping to hear from Hawk. Then again, of course Tim made sure Hawk will receive the paperweight. It’s the same ‚message‘ that Hawk delivered to him when he left it as a gift before betraying him - to let go. Tim wants to let go.

Flashback to 1952!

Tim ordering a glass of milk, almost snapping at Hawk for questioning his beverage of choice.

The beginning of the milk odyssey…

What a beautifully shot scene, the lighting, the music / score, the switch between scenes, paralleling the scenes between society conform married life of a ‚straight’ man and cruising through park bathrooms - the double life of Hawkins Fuller and preparing us for what lies ahead, truly marvellous.

I think that’s the roughest and most mechanical, unemotional sex we’ll see in the show. Hawk literally punches Eddie like a donkey.

Hawk: Milton. But my friends call me ‚uncle Milty‘ - Cracking up. Hawk, be serious.

Hawk doesn’t care about your little life, Eddie. He got what he wanted. He doesn’t give him his number. Important detail since that’s the first information he receives from Tim, already going one step further than he does with Eddie here.

The small „:|“ glance Mary and Hawk share in reaction to Miss Addison’s disapproval of commies, only the eyeroll and irritated sigh missing. Love Hawk’s and Mary’s interactions and friendship overall, so entertaining how they’ll constantly talk ambiguously.

Tim and Hawk first meeting at the park!

Tim: I have a degree in political science and history. I think I should aim a little higher, don’t you? - Oh, baby, you should! Too bad he’s never got to indulge in a profession that fits his education. But then again, maybe it’s for the best that reoriented his career and found a better path for himself, for his eagerness to be politically vocal! He still became a spokesman.

Tim flusters as Hawk inquires him about memorising his biographical entry! His reaction is sooo endearing. He’s already so smitten.

The banter between them!

Hawk: Down boy. - And so the dynamic starts.

Hawk: Perfect. I’ll spend the afternoon picturing you kneeling in prayer. - Pants flew to the moon, ovaries and peepees exploded!

Smith: Your plan, me in the White House in eight years. - Hawk intending to ‚manipulate‘ his mentor’s career, making him president.

Tim and his little cupboard where he hangs his very few white socks and pants. D: Also, he is a plant person! In this apartment as well as in his 80s one he own quite a bunch of greens.

Jean: … could stand to improve his spelling. You’ll have to do this one again. - Is Tim dyslexic?

The book Tim bestows Hawk with, as a present for getting the job is titled ‚Look Homeward, Angel.‘ Angel. Skippy, in the book apparently, is derived from an angel’s name. So maybe that’s Hawk’s inspiration in the show?

Hawk visits Tim for the first time and wants to take him out for dinner! So much to the ‚we NEVER eat in restaurants!‘-complaint in episode 3. Hawk wanted to take him out to a restaurant before. <3

Tim is very, VERY drastic in his political views, which is a bit concerning, but also understanding, given the historical context.

Hawk asking for consent before lifting Tim to his feet and undressing him, love it.

Tim: This is uncle Ronald, the drunken designated hopeless sinner of the family.

Hawk: I think you’re giving uncle Ron a run for that title.

Tim: Thanks to you… - and the little smirk, I can’t.

Mary: How are you enjoying ‚Look Homeward, Angel‘?

Hawk: Immensely. Although I have trouble finishing a book before I wanna start another. - he says while he eye-flirts with the next guy standing closeby, oh Hawkins.

Eddie making a scene out in the open, in the hallway…That is very, very awkward and risky and Eddie should know that, not a clever move. I feel for him, for what happens to him later on, but he had it coming, unfortunately. He should’ve let it go when Hawk made clear he doesn’t want further contact during their encounter and then clearly signifies he doesn’t recognize him. It’s like having an ONS or anonymous sex, the rules about how this will go and what it entails are set.

Tim toe-sucking bj-ing himself to the fancy party is still wonderful and he must’ve done a spectacular job to convince Hawk. Also, he’s wearing Hawk’s coat here. Wonder if they acted out the little monologue and Tim really went there with the taste of him in his mouth.

Alsop: My wife says the aroma is somewhat reminiscent of feet. I can promise you it tastes perfectly marvellous. - This is a very feet-heavy episode.

Lucy and Hawk share such entertaining banter moments, I wish they could’ve stayed just really good friends, without all the heartbreak and pain.

Bringing up Lucy is a red rag to Hawk, but Tim just can’t help it. These two have severely different perspectives on life at this point and Hawk told Tim multiple times that he can’t give him what he wants, the life he dreams of, that they can just enjoy these occasional moments of fun together, which of course isn’t enough for Tim, who craves for everything straight couples have, to date his partner openly. It’s not possible in this environment and Tim acts very stubborn and naive here. He is also constituting a great risk for Hawk, who doesn’t shove him away just yet, which is surprising, giving what we’ve seen of him and how cautious he wants to be, leaving no traces endangering his career.

After hearing McCarthy’s speech it’s actually so disturbing and irritating to know that Tim holds onto this man’s ideals so firmly.

I left the fandom back when it was revealed that Erwin had died (oh the heartbreak 🤧). Very recently, I picked up aot again because I heard the Very Last Episode was coming out soon. I've been dipping my toes back into the fandom, and I was so incredibly happy to see that you were still around and that your love for eruri was still strong. I got to catch up with a lot of stuff regarding eruri (official media, fanart, fanfic, fandom/anon takes on Certain Events through the years, etc) thanks to your blog! Thank you for all your hard work! And I'm sorry that you receive hate/weird anon takes. It must be tiring to go through all the unnecessary 💩 asks that are taking up space in your inbox. Ummm so what I wanted to say is: your blog and your fics are truly a god send to eruris everywhere!🤣 Thank you for putting your heart and time into this blog! Hi Anon, thank you sooo much for your lovely message. I really appreciate you taking the time to write this. You're very kind. I wanted to reply to your ask, firstly to thank you, and secondly to say that this right here is my experience of the Eruri fandom and this is why I'm still here after all these years.

I know that the vast majority of the Anon hate in my inbox, and in the fandom more generally, comes from a vanishingly small number of individuals, who are very much the exception rather than the rule. The vast majority of Eruri fans that I've encountered in the last 8 years have been the most amazing, creative and generous people you could ever wish to meet. The Eruri fandom isn't huge by any measure but the quality and creativity of the art and fic is rightly well known. Eruri fans have produced amazingly professional zines that would be the envy of much larger fandoms, and have come together time and time again to raise thousands of dollars for important causes such as medical relief for Palestine and Ukraine.

On a more personal level, I've been humbled by the generosity of Eruri fans, by the fic, art, friendship and support they've shared with me. I've met so many amazing people from all walks of life and corners of the globe. Some have been my best friends for almost a decade now. We've travelled the world, crossed oceans to spend time together, and shared so many incredible experiences and memories. Whenever I get hate or death threats in my inbox, it doesn't phase me, it just makes me feel a bit sad for the people sending it because their lives must be very empty indeed.

So thank you Anon, YOU are the reason I'm still here, you and the many Eruri fans like you who it's been a joy to share this amazing fandom with over the last 8 years 💕

But I am SO TIRED NOW and like idk I just am so deeply autistic and traveling and meeting so many new people in person (this is the first time I’ve agreed to a site visit, I usually only work virtually) and like spending the “break time” with the staff in the office and then going to a restaurant for dinner (I needed steak and a salad) and talking about labor organizing in the victim advocacy field and I am WIPED OUT and I don’t even have the brain cells to care about the eclipse lyric (nooooo I’ll get a C in swiftie analysis) so I’m drinking canned rosé and watching baking competition shows in my hotel room and I have to do two more sessions tomorrow and then the women’s center staff want to take me to the pretty rock store (they loved my rock talking piece) and damnit I want to go to the pretty rock store with them and get a new rock!!!! And I want to solve their problems (this campus is in a very very conservative state and they are facing some major major uphill battles and like… idk how they do it like they have spies recording their programming and reporting them for violating some fascist censorship rules and intimidating job applicants who they need to fill vacant roles from other people fleeing the situation and its just oooof) but I can’t fix it and that makes me really really sad but I think some of them are realizing they’re neurodivergent bc of my work and i did some really great stuff today with the students and faculty and I had 4 people come up after my presentation and say that it was super validating and healing and empowering and tomorrow I’m working with the student leaders and it’s SO EXCITING and I want to do a good job and ANYWAYS I sleepy. I think I will be okay tomorrow but I’m nervous about Wednesday when I have to deal with the airport again and like last time I flew somewhere I was OK during the trip because I upped all my meds but I got home and crashed sooo hard and had a huge meltdown and then burnout episode for a few days and like that will probably happen again but maybe not bc this is super validating and healing and they respect my needs so much and are doing a really beautiful job of modeling access intimacy and how important it is and I just love them so much and they even made sure to get me snacks I can eat even with all my allergies and I just feel very loved and valued by them and it is so horrible that their administration is like actively trying to destroy their whole office 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Liyue’s Laws

Lee!Scaramouche/Wanderer, Ler!Yanfei

A/N: ALRIGHT! So, ahem. Let me start out by saying isn’t my fic but rather one by a extremely close friend of mine (whom, dare I say, is my best friend). I personally loved reading this and asked if I could post it for them due to them wishing to be anonymous for various reasons! The pairing being Wanderer and Yanfei is actually due to us playing Genshin Impact quite often recently and I recently began to main Wanderer while they main Yanfei! Sooo it was a very self indulgent pairing but still one that actually works quite alright! And I do ask be gentle with this fic. This was my dear friend’s first time writing for Genshin Impact, along with these two characters and I believe they did very well so I wanted to share it! I hope you enjoy! :D

Description: Upon arriving in the City of Contacts, Scaramouche meets up with a familiar legal advisor who has to teach him a bit about the laws!

“And for civil cases like this, I charge-“ Yanfei paused, looking away from her potential client and seeing a familiar face. “You know what- Here’s my card. Let me write my prices on the back for you- One moment… Okay! Here you go- I know this is only a civil case that you’ll need my help with, so I’d be happy to discuss the case further with you on another day… perhaps in two days?” She smiled at the client as they nodded and took the card, walking out.

With that, the adeptus stood up from her desk, quickly placing a ‘Be back in 30!’ sign down on said desk.

“How’d you manage to sneak into my office?” Yanfei questioned the wanderer with a smile on her face.

“I dunno..? The door was just kinda… unlocked.”

“Shoot- I knew I was forgetting something. What are you doing in Liyue? Wait! Don’t answer that. I bet I can guess- Are you just traveling through?”

Scaramouche replied with a shrug.

“What an awfully detailed answer. Well! Lucky for you, I was about to go on my break anyway. Now- Did you need me for a legal situation, or were you just stopping by?”

“Bold of you to assume that I’m in some kind of legal trouble, but I’m just stopping by.” The anemo user snickered, leaning on the doorframe to the office.

“Well, I *am* a legal advisor, and you did show up to my job. At that point why wouldn’t I assume?”

Yanfei sat back down, motioning to the seat in front of her desk for Scara to take a seat. The two had spent some time chatting about the wanderer’s travels with the traveler and their floating companion- Or as the traveler affectionately referred to her as, ‘emergency food.’ Though knowing those two, it didn’t take long for the conversation topic to switch to something more serious.

“Now, I personally find that topic to be quite interesting to debate on. Mainly because I enjoy hearing people’s opinions on the Northland Bank! Though my *actual* favorite topic would be discussing Liyue’s laws. Ooh! Wait! Do you have a favorite law from Liyue specifically?”

Scaramouche stared at the pink haired woman, shaking his head.

“No… I never particularly studied the laws here. At least… studied them to the extent that you do.”

The adeptus snickered, shaking her head. Though she suddenly got an idea. Albeit, a mean idea, but it was an idea nonetheless.

“That’s just a shame. They’re a good thing to know, y’know! Although I guess if everyone knew the law, there wouldn’t be a need for jobs like mine… However, I could teach you some of the laws! Maybe some of the important ones?”

The anemo user continued staring at Yanfei, slightly in disbelief before just shrugging. He knew there was no stopping her when it came to one of her favorite topics like this, and frankly, he didn’t mind it.

“Sure. Do you have a favorite one or…” The wanderer questioned, watching as the adeptus started to smirk. “…And you’re smirking… whyyy?”

Yanfei stood up, walking around her desk and standing next to the chair that Scaramouche was currently sitting in. She leaned against her desk, thinking for a moment.

“Sure, I’ve got plenty of favorites. Although, I don’t have any paper to write them down on… uh… and I can’t use ink on your hand- It would just rub off eventually.” She lied. She did in fact have paper. Though the ink thing was true.

“We could always save it for another day then, Yanfei.”

“Hm… Oh! Wait a second. I just remembered that there *is* another way I can write it down for you, but you’d really have to rely on your memory, because I’m not gonna use ink. May I have your hand?” Yanfei smiled, holding out her hand.

Scaramouche looked at her hand, then at her face, then back at her hand before just holding his hand out, palm up.

“Great! Now, this first law is a personal favorite- ‘Commercial Law of Liyue,’ Chapter…” As she spoke, she used her index finger to trace out the words on the wanderer’s palm. Almost immediately, he closed his hand up, grabbing her finger.

“Aha! I knew it. I had a feeling that you were ticklish!”

“Who said anything about me being ticklish? I just closed my hand.” Scaramouche quickly replied, opening up his hand again to avoid any further suspicion.

“…Now why do I get the feeling that you’re not being totally honest with me, hm?” Yanfei questioned, raising an eyebrow. “Anyhow… Liyue’s Laws, Chapter 54, Section 3…” She paused, looking up at Scaramouche, who was currently smiling and biting his lip.

“Are you okay…?”

“Yeah yeah yeah- I’m good. Keep going.”

The legal advisor smiled and nodded. “Article 5 stipulates that-“ Yanfei was cut off by a burst of giggles from the wanderer. She looked up with a knowing smile, deciding that the reaction was adorable from the stoic anemo user.

“Ihihi’m sohohorry-“ Scaramouche giggled, closing his hand once again. “Ihi dihidn’t mean to cut you ohohoff.”

The adeptus smirked, getting an idea.

“Ohhh it’s more than okay. It’s not like you cut me off or anything.” She crossed her arms, joking with him. “However I think I just may need to take you to court for that!”

“Wha-? Can you take me to court for that?”

“Oh totally! It would certainly be a big case, I know that.” She paused, bringing her hand up to her ear as if it was a phone. “What’s that? Oh, of course! Yes, your honor!” Then brought her hand down. “Scara, I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news…”

“Did you just use your hand to talk to someone-? Why and how did you- Uh- Okay… Give me the good news?”

“You’re getting off easy.”

“…And the bad news…?”

“You’ve been sentenced to… 5 minutes of me tickling you!”

Yanfei giggled seeing Scaramouche’s wide eyes, then watched as he tried to stand up to make a quick escape.

“Oho no you don’t!” The pink haired girl was quick to grab the wanderer from behind, wrapping her arms around his midsection before clawing away at his sides. “Tickle tickle tickle!”

Though Scaramouche yelped upon being grabbed, he immediately began squirming around to try and get away. And while he was able to hold back his giggling for a moment, he quickly bursted into a giggle fit.

Yanfei’s hands danced over his sides, then crawled over to his tummy. She traced out a few shapes before suddenly switching to quickly scribbling her fingers over the sensitive skin. This caused a squeal from Scaramouche, then he quickly dissolved back into giggles. All the while, he kept up his squirming.

“Hmm… Clock’s ticking! I gotta find that sweet spot of yours!”

“Nohoho!”

With an incredibly lucky guess, and her ability to use logic, she decided to test all the spots she could think of. She started by quickly scribbling at the wanderer’s ribs, earning some giggles. Then she tried scribbling under his arms, causing his arms to glue to his sides, and some softer giggles. Tracing and scribbles on his back earned a squeal, then some calm laughs. Finally, she tried scribbling at his hips, earning slightly more frantic laughter, and a few stomps.

“Now I know this may be speculation, but is this your sweet spot?”

“NOHo!”

“I believe that reaction in itself says enough!” Yanfei snickered, beginning to squeeze at Scaramouche’s hips.

Scaramouche responded by stomping a few times, frantically squirming, and of course, cackles.

“YAHAHANFEI- YAHAHAN! NOHO!”

“You lied in the court of law?! You definitely deserve this then! This is what you get for not abiding by the law!”

“IHIHI DIHIDN’T DOHO ANYTHIHIHING!”

“You most certainly did!” The adeptus switched to drilling her fingers into the hip bones, which caused a whole bunch of stomps and attempts to get away. “Wohohoah! It’s getting difficult to hold onto you!”

“OHOHOFF!”

Yanfei shook her head, smiling as she rapidly squeezed at the wanderer’s hips. She was certainly enjoying the laughs and squeals and frantic reactions that he was giving, and she knew that he certainly didn’t genuinely laugh enough.

Unfortunately, he was reaching his limit. Scaramouche wasn’t used to being tickled, let alone being wrecked like this, so he was running out of energy pretty quickly.

“PLEHEHEASEEE! IHIHIT’S SOHOHO BAHAD!”

“But you’ve still got like… a minute thirty! Lemme at least try one more thing.”

“HUHUHURRY UHUP!”

The legal advisor smiled and nodded, leaning her head down and blowing a raspberry onto his side.

“AHahahaHAhaHAHa- YAhaHAnFeHEi! PLehEHeAse! ENohOHouGh!”

“Ahahalright! Alright! I’ll stop.” Yanfei finally let go of Scaramouche, who quickly rubbed away the phantom feelings on his side and hips.

“Ohoho jeheheez- Thahat was cruel! You did that and I didn’t even do anything wrong!”

“Perhaps that was the case.”

“I- Alright… Considering you’ve still got about… mm… 25 minutes of your break, give or take, I’ve got a question for you. Are *you* ticklish?”

Yanfei just smiled at the question, turning a bit red and shying away, staring at the floor.

“Ihi uh..”

“I’ll take that as a yes! I’ll give you a 5 second head start. 1… 2…”

And Yanfei ran straight out her office door.

HIIIIIII RAXZ <333 love the cute little drawing i have attached my own. i would say i am happy i moved a little further away bc it has allowed me to become more independent and really branch out and meet new people but there is a lot to consider... i think costs of travel are super important to think abt, my trip is only abt 3-4 hours and costs me under £20 each time which is very useful as a girl who loves to go home at every opportunity LOL. taking a gap year after u graduate if u arent sure where u wanna go/what exact degree u wanna pursue/if uni is for you is a good option u shouldnt rule out, it can be super good to have the extra time to work or research and i honestly wish id taken one lowkey. if u do decide to go straight away do not drop out in the first semester unless u are 100% sure it isnt for you… bc i almost did when my mental health was super bad and now im sooo glad i didnt LMAO. going to uni is a really tough change but it does kick you into a new stage of development and i have loved my experience so far (Apart from the past term which has been the worst few months of my life but that has nothing to do with uni) :3 also i would say 100% pick something you really enjoy, doesnt have to be tailored to ur ideal career (but that helps if u have it figured out already), i did that instead of picking something more practical and i genuinely love all my classes and essays so so much!! i genuinely think one of the best things you can do is travel alone. im not talking being stupid and unsafe, im talking taking trips on public transport, go to public places by yourself, and MEET people. youd be amazed at the amount of people you meet just because you have no one else to talk to. you tap into conversations, you get invited to events, you make conversation. traveling by yourself and meeting people is such an incredible experience and i hope everyone can experience it

#today i met two scientists on the train #one an astrologist from galway and one a computer genius from india. i went on a guided tour and after got invited along on an outing to #another museum plus a pint and then the 3 of us met 2 more people and shared drinks with them #traveling and meeting people is sooo important #courtesy of cyrus

Overall personality:

Really depends on who you ask. People upon meeting me for the first time tend to say I give off a serious, mature, and responsible vibe whereas those who have known me longer say that I am quirky, passionate, but assertive. I have multiple faces that I put on: one for work/professional settings, one around family, one for friends (and even so that can be split into multiple categories depending on how close I am with you). So multi-faceted is a good term to describe me, as I ‘m always adapting and changing to meet my surroundings. That also means not alot of people tend to know me, but I’m ok with that as I like distance and privacy in my personal life.

Hobbies:

Video games—otomes, gacha games, visual novels, JRPGS, and life simulators like Animal Crossing are my jam, tabletop games, musical theater, cosplay, ice skating, horseback riding, reading (historical fiction, fantasy, or gothic horror especially), listening to J-rock or alternative music.

Likes:

Spending money on gacha games, Italian food, traveling, ancient mythology and medieval history, horses, scrolling social media

Dislikes:

A lot of food as I’m a picky eater—in particular, mushrooms, bananas, seafood, and olives are big on my no list.

Cold or rainy weather. I have low cold tolerance.

***I’m also absolutely touch repulsed, so I’d like someone who isn’t too handsy or openly affectionate.

Preferences:

Someone introverted works best with me, although extroverts (to a degree) are ok too—what’s important is that they respect my need for personal space and alone time.

I don’t care about height too much.

Ideally, they can share some of my hobbies or are open to learning. They can’t be too pushy or demanding, as I tend to do things at my own pace. Im okay!! Some incredible University related things are happening atm, which is exciting (potentially going to have a studio flat to myself basically for free which will mean uni is completely stress free money-wise, which is truly incredible and will make uni life survivable), and I have finished a maths AS Level (idk how to put this into generic terms but its between a level and gcse - A level being the qualification you get before uni)

CAN I TELL YOU THIS THING I LEARNED ABOUT EGGS?!??

Sooooo I always wondered how eggs get fertalised, cause how does the sperm penetrate the shell, and I went to an online lecture that explained exactly that!!!

Sooo the sperm from the male chickens inseminates the yolk of the egg before the shell is made. Unlike in humans, where if multiple sperm meet the egg the egg will not progress to the next stage, multiple sperm are actually nescassary for the survival of the egg!! Only one sperm cell provides its genetic information, but others that enter are theorised to be important in stimulating the next stages of development. Other sperm that don't enter the yolk then form the outer lining of the wall of the yolk (literally the thing you pierce when you let the yolk run in a fried egg). As the egg then travels further down the hen, the albumen (the egg white) forms around the yolk, and the shell forms around that!! ITS SO INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!

ooooh thats all so interesting! i've been reading about insect reproduction lately, but i havent looked much into how eggs are formed, so i have to fix that soon :) (not rn though bc i am extremely tired)

i'm not doing great, exams start officially in 3 weeks and if i want to pass this year i need to do really well & im not looking forward to summer break simply because the small amount of friends i have will all be travelling while i stay behind :(

because of all this stress, my brain is also breaking a little bit & i cant remember anything anymore and also we have a maths teacher again :( which is not fun bc im too good at math & they always go way too slow for me, which means im stuck counting how many squares are on my graph paper or something to not go insane with boredom

BUT good news!!! just found out yesterday that i can go walk around the nearby swamp!!!! (i thought people werent allowed to go in)

and im hopefully almost done with school? just one more year after this :)

Josh would be captivated by your beauty the moment he spots you from across the room. He’d play with your hair all the time! Tickling your nose with the ends of it and brushing it down while he hugs you. And I do believe Josh has acknowledged how he is attracted to tattoos. I can only imagine the record collections each of the boys have, no less combining yours and Josh’s. You could have a whole room dedicated to them! In fact, I can envision a whole wing of the house full of vinyl, instruments, stereos and record players, books, and awards the boys have won!

Josh is also an avid outdoors man. Wouldn’t think that if you just looked at him, but that’s his decompression place! Anywhere from the beach to the mountains, he’d be ready to explore them with you! After horseback riding a couple years ago, Josh would like to hop in the saddle some more! It looked like he had a good time doing it, so call up the stables!

Josh is the most kind, genuine, caring person you’ll ever meet! The two of you would no doubt always be concerned for everyone else. Whether it’s just checking in with his parents or donating to charity, his heart is huge! Although Josh seems like he would take betrayal really hard, I think his forgiving nature is above all. He’d be one to give people a second chance and hopefully make things work. The both of you could help each other balance those characteristics.

He is super into psychology, so he understands the importance of keeping your mind balanced and a peaceful conscious. When your struggling, he will always have a shoulder to cry on and lending ear. He’d always have the right words to help you see on the positive side. And when your mental health is thriving, he would reinforce that. Making remarks like, “You look like you are doing really well today. You glow when your feeling good. I’ve never see anything so beautiful.”

thank you so much for requesting!! this is my first time writing for more than one character at a time so it was a challenge lol thank you sm!!

Xiao

Xiao never understood the importance of time. Days, months, even years feel like nothing when you’re immortal. What a funny thing that is, immortality. He knows normal humans would do anything for it, and he despises them for that. Nothing so great came free, he knew that well. He was freed from tortures, only to get tormented by karma. He could still hear the voices and screams calling for help from tortured souls, these still haunt him daily. But the worst moments come when he sees that figure, that person who he once considered close. So close he could use the human word “soulmate”, if he believed in those, to describe who that person meant to him.

Many centuries back he met you, such a gentle person who got to break down his hard walls. A smile, a touch, a kiss. That’s all it took. So many meaningless years, and he never once encountered a person as kind yet strong like you. Someone who made the daily nightmares cease, with a simple smile and brush of fingers.

He remembers your last words like it was the day before. You were on top of one of the tall stones in Huaguang Stone Forest, Xiao laying his head on your lap and you placing small qingxin flowers on his hair. He wouldn’t allow anyone do that to him ever, but in the end, you were you. And you were different.

“Xiao” you called, once you were done placing the flowers. He opened his eyes and muttered a “hm?” in response. “I have to leave soon. Mondstadt calls me”

He sat up.

“What do you mean?”

“By tomorrow morning, I’ll be on my way back to Mondstadt” you said, quietly standing up.

He stood up too.

“When will I see you again?” he asked, now not being able to look at you.

“I don’t know” you said, reaching out for his hand and taking it. You placed a soft kiss on his knuckles, and he felt himself calm down at the gesture for a moment.

“I meant it when I said I’ll love you forever, Xiao” you said, finally locking eyes with him. You had teary eyes, he dreaded to see you like that. If it were up to him, he would swallow every bit of pain in your body and soul, just to see you smile.

And with that, you disappeared. As quickly as you broke down his walls, you disappeared just as quick the next day. Days, months and years became even more meaningless, but somehow he felt them longer. He missed you every day, he whispered to the moon every night, wishing that some archon would hear and bring you back to him. He knew you were like him, but he never heard from you again. Were you able to finally cross to the other side? He tried to erase those thoughts from his mind.

He later found himself in that very same stone, the one in which he last saw you. New Qingxin flowers blossomed, and they reminded him of you. He sat down, staring at the horizon. But then, he felt a strange swift of wind, and a presence behind him. He quickly stood up, ready to put his mask on and kill whoever dared to interrupt his solitude. But he didn’t. The mask in his hand dropped to the floor, next to the flowers.

“I’m back” you said, with a shy smile.

“You’re back” he said, more to himself than to you. Were you really there?

His question was soon answered, once you stepped closer and pulled him in a hug. He found himself wrapping his arms around you, holding you as close as he could, while trying to hold back his tears.

“I’m sorry I took so long, my beloved” you said as you locked your eyes with his. You grabbed his hand and held it, but you never once let go of the hug.

“I’m here to stay now” you whispered.

Zhongli

“You need to stop playing with people’s hearts” Zhongli said, as he sipped on his tea and looked at you questioningly. You rolled your eyes in response and put your focus back on your potion. A few petals from the most exotic flower in Teyvat, a little bit of juice made from vines and a teaspoon of slime condensate.

“Sometimes mortals need a little push in the right direction” You said, finishing up the mix and transferring it to a small bottle made of glass. “Plus, we’ve been here for centuries, I’m bored and I need a hobby”

“I don’t think that messing with human’s love lives can be considered a hobby. I don’t think it’s morally correct” he said.

“You’re very dramatic. I can feel the true desires of every being that touches the soil in Teyvat, and if I sense that the desire is mutual, I simply work my magic” You said, sitting back on your chair next to the tall man.

“Can’t you let them figure it out by themselves?” He asked.

“That’s no fun Zhongli” You said, finishing up the sweet perfume-potion you were creating.

You and Zhongli have been friends for centuries. You met when you moved to Liyue as the representative of the Dendro Archon, someone you really looked up to. Zhongli was kind enough to make you feel at home, and soon became friends with the Geo Archon. Though you must admit, you always wished it was something more.

Maybe that’s why you picked up this “hobby” of yours. Unrequited love is something painful and mortals only live a short life, you believe they should live it fully, if possible.

“Are you alright?” Zhongli asked, interrupting your thoughts with a concerned look on his face. You didn’t realize you had a sad look on yours.

“Oh? Yeah of course” You said, quickly brushing it off and proceeding decorating the small glass bottle.

“Y/n-“ he started, placing a hand on top of yours in order to get your attention. “I’ve known you for a long time. I know when something is wrong”

It was funny. He knew you like the back of his hand, he knew how to read you since the first time he laid his eyes on you. Yet he never found out how you truly felt about him, how your heart made like a million flips whenever he did something as simple as hold your hand, or brush a hair away from your face. All these little things and gestures, have been making you swoon over your closest friend for years, centuries even.

“Time and love are strange concepts, aren’t they?” You asked, looking straight at him. Here goes nothing, you thought.

“I believe those are rather simple concepts”

“You can spend a lifetime with someone, know every habit and expression but you don’t know how they truly feel about you” You said staring at him, searching for any hint that indicated he knew what you were talking about. But you saw nothing. Who were you kidding? He’s just your friend, has been for a long time.

You let out a defeated laugh, standing up and letting go of his hand. “Forgive me, I don’t really know what i’m saying” you said, grabbing the potion and starting to leave. But you felt his hand on your wrist, stopping your movements.

“You said you felt the desires of every being that stepped foot on Teyvat’s soil, am I right?” he asked, looking at you. You nodded. “Does it work on me?”

“You wanted to get close to me, as a friend”

“My apologies my dearest y/n, but I think your blessing is wrong” he said, standing up and holding your hand once again. “I did want to get closer to you as a friend at first, but not any longer. I’ve been observing mortals for a while as well, on my daily walks through Liyue Harbor, and I think I finally understood my feelings”

You were sure that if Zhongli listened close enough, he would hear the fast beating of your heart.

“I’ve been waiting for you to use your love potion on me, my dear y/n. I’m sure it wouldn’t have worked anyways since I believe it would take a lot of effort to make an effective potion that could work on me. But it would have given me the excuse to tell you how I really feel” he said.

“How do you feel then?” you asked him, looking up at the tall man.

“I think I’m very lucky to have you by my side, and it makes me want to travel to the Dendro nation and personally thank the Archon for assigning you to Liyue. I also want you to still be by my side for the centuries to come, if you’re okay with that” he said, lowering his voice by the end.

You acted before you could process your thoughts. You stood on your tippy toes and kissed his cheek gently, never letting go of his hand. He liked you, he felt the same way about you. It was real.

“I’m okay with that” you replied.

Venti

It was almost noon, almost an hour after the original time you accorded with Venti to meet. You planned a picnic date by the big tree near the statue of the Seven, your favorite spot. The same spot which later, became Venti’s favorite spot as well.

He wasn’t a person who would jump straight to conclusions. You were late. Maybe you fell asleep, maybe you couldn’t find the guitar you promised to bring so you could play a duet. Being late doesn’t mean something bad happened, right?”

He decided to wait a few more moments, but once the sun set, he had enough. He went out to try and find you. He went to your house, but noticed the door was locked and no one was inside. “They left” he thought.

He slowly but surely started to get desperate. Where were you? Were you hurt? Did you get lost somehow? He went to Angel’s Share, and not even Master Diluc had seen you. If Venti wasn’t in such a panicked state, he would have noticed the rare concerned and worried look Diluc had on his face.

If any traveler walked by literally any road in Mondstadt, they would soon encounter a big rush of wind. Venti went from here to there as fast as he could, trying to find you.

He soon enough found you in Stormbearer Mountains, fighting hilichurls and two pyro mages. You looked tired, sweat covering your body and your clothes were dirty. It was obvious that this has been going on for a while. You gripped your sword as hard as you could, and kept fighting. Why didn’t you call for him? With no exception, Venti tells you daily to call for him if you ever encounter a problem. It’s not that he doesn’t think you’re strong, oh no, he believed you were the strongest mortal in Teyvat. But in the end, to him you were still a mortal. Fragile and over-sensitive. He often told you to call his name, that the wind will carry it and he will appear there to help you out. So why didn’t you?

“y/n!” he screamed, once he laid his eyes on you. You turned around and saw a rush on wind, and felt his presence. What you didn’t feel though, was the pyro attack coming from one of the mages. The mage summoned three pyro artifacts that surrounded you, and burnt you. You felt your energy slip away, your head dizzy and your body burning. Then, you felt the cold wind, Venti quickly finishing off the mages and the remaining hilichurls.

Venti thought it was over. You were kneeled down, burnt skin, gasping for air. It was over, you were going to die. He felt his eyes water and fear running through his veins. He wrapped his arms around you, making you lean on his chest.

“Don’t leave me” he begged. “please”

“My dear, I don’t think I can” you said, letting out a short laugh.

“Please stay strong, I think I can carry you to the cathedral but you need to hold very still so-“ he started saying, now fully crying but you interrupted him by putting a hand on his cheek and wiping his tears with your thumb.

“I’m serious, I don’t think I can leave anyways. Venti, I literally can’t die.” you said, with a laugh and slowly standing up.

“You... you’re immortal?” he asked, looking up at you, not being able to leave the floor.

You nodded. “I thought you knew”

“I hate you” he said, standing up and wiping away his tears. “I do”

“No you don’t. But you’re cute though!” you said, grabbing his face and kissing the tip of his nose. “I’m very sorry I’m late though, my commission took longer than I thought but let me compensate you with dinner and a bottle of wine”

“But you’re still burnt?” he asked you, concern still in his face.

“Oh don’t worry about that, it will rip out when I start walking. I have healthy skin underneath” you said, like it was the most normal thing in the world.

“Why do I feel like this is not your first time getting so hurt?” he asked letting out a soft chuckle, suddenly feeling lighter now that he knows you’re okay and will probably be okay for a long long while.

“Eh, been there done that a few times” you simply said, taking his hand and walking back to the city of Mondstadt.

Monaco (Charles Leclerc)

Summary: Y/N is Tom Holland's manager and this year she attends with him to the Monaco GP. What if she meets one of the Ferrari drivers?

A/N: Sooo this is my first work. Hope you like it❤

Since I was little, Tom and I were friends. I grew with him and got to see every step made into Hollywood. I met all of his friends and become a little group were Zendaya and I were the only girls. Harrison and I worked with him, he's his assistant and I'm his manager, so we travel together a lot. This year, after all the press interviews of his last movie he wanted to take us to a vacation to Monaco, the same week the Formula One is taking place there. The city is full of cars and people, and it's easy to be caught by some Tom's fans an the streets.

"Man, look at those pretty cars" Harrison was living his life, watching all the Ferrari and Mercedes parked in front the building "Haz you are drooling" I laughed looking at my friend "I mean, they are cars..." "Are you for real? Y/N look at those beatiful machines" Tom sighed walking near a Ferrari "Oh, so fucking gorgeous"

I laughed looking at my best friends being in love with two cars and when two men dressed with red shirts came near them they stood up real quickly.

"Are you Tom Holland?" one of the asked with an strange english accent. "Oh God, and are you Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz? The Ferrari drivers?" Tom has his fangirl mode activated. "Yeah" they laughed and Harrison started to talk with them.

I'm standing away of them, letting the four men talk, while I'm talking on my phone with one of Tom's sponsors, and I started to feel a pair of eyes locked on my back. When I turned around I saw one of the drives, don't know his name, looking at me with a smile on his face.

"And you are?" he asked turning all the attention to me "I saw Harrison with Tome in media, but... you?" "Oh, I'm his manager" I answered walking near them, placing myself between Tom and Harrison and touching Tom's shoulder "Y/N L/N, nice to meet you" "The pleasure is mine"

Oh damn, flirting are we?

The drivers said goodbye to us the doors of the red Ferrari that was near us and the one who filtered with me started the engine of the car making Tom and Harrison shout of happiness.

"Will you see the race?" the driver asked me with a smile on his lips. "I think so" I smiled at him feeling how my checks started to burn. "I'm Charles, by the way, Charles Leclerc"

Tom and Harrison laughed loud signaling my blushed face and I kicked both of their arms. We started to walk to our after graving something to eat on the steet and when we arrived to our suite OK the hotel I booked I started to call one of Tom's sponsors who is here in Monaco.

"Come one, Y/N. Stop working, we are here for relax and forget about work." Tom complained taking my phone from my hands. "But..." "No buts, enjoy." Harrison interrupted me covering my mouth with his hands "Plus, can we talk about how Charles Leclerc started to flirt with you? He had heart eyes" "Oooh, that's true!" Tom started to jump in his seat, clapping and laughing "He even asked you if you were going to see the race" "He wasn't flirting, he was just... being polite" I sighed rolling my eyes. "And why did he started following you on Instagram?" Tom took my phone on his hands when it turned on with a notification "Oh! And he sent a message to you!"

I stood up front the couch and walked to my bed with my phone between my hands, opening Instagram and reading his message.

charles_leclerc: Hey it's me, Charles Leclerc. I wanted to know if you can come to the Ferrari paddock with Tom and Harrison?

I smiled reading his message while bitting my lip.

me: Hi Charles, sorry we already have an invitation from RedBull... but of course we're going to walk near! I think Harrison wanted to have a look to the cars

charles_leclerc Oh, well... So, do you like Monaco?

I laughed softly. He changed the topic so quickly that o even se that coming.

me: I haven't seen too much, only the harbor and some nice shops... but it's pretty

charles_leclerc: Do you want me to show you the city?

I gasped in surprise, sitting on my bed and looking at the screen of my phone.

"Guys?" I shouted, hearing their footsteps coming near me. "What?" they shouted looking at me worried. "I think Charles Leclerc asked me to go with him on a date" "I KNEW IT!" Tom exclaimed "Okay so, what did you said?" "Nothing! I mean, what if he's joking? I'm sure he is..."

Tom rolled his eyes and started to tap on my phone, writing a message for Charles. He smiled and then put the phone on the bed.

"You have to get ready, he will come in an hour" "He what?" "Go on. And put something red" Harrison smiled and they left me alone on my room.

Sighing I opened the suitcase and searched for something to wear but nothing red. I dressed with a midi black dress and some sandals and painted my lips with a red lipstick.

"He's here" Tom said looking outside the windows, waving to someone on the street "And he has the Ferrari we saw this morning. Damn Y/N, enjoy the drive and then describe to us how the car was" "You are a freak" I laughed opening the door.

Leaving the hotel Charles opened the door for me with a big smile and started to drive on the streets. He showed me all the important places and personal places like his mother's house or the school were he studied when he was a kid. Some fans who recognised him started to cheer for him and he waved to them with a smile on his lips.

"Is like that everyday? Like you walk on the street and everyone knows who you are. Aren't you stressed about that?" I asked him looking at all his fans. "Not really. Well, it's true that when I race here I feel a lot of pressure because you know... it's home and they are my people. But you know... is really good to feel the support of them" he explained smiling to me. "I guess so..." "And how it is being Tom's manager?" "Is like if I'm taking care of a child! I'm always looking that he doesn't spoil a movie, or swear on public TV... but I love him, he's my best friend since I was little" I smiled, moving my hands while I speak. "I have to confess that the first time I saw you Carlos and I thought that you were his girlfriend " he sighed. "God, no! Never in a million years" I laughed.

He smiled to me and parked the car. I looked outside and when I saw that we are on the top of Monaco I sighed with happiness.

"Wow, what a wonderful view" I smiled looking at the sea "Thank you for the ride, Charles" "I hope you enjoyed it" he smiled grabbing my hand and walking to a bench.

None of us talk, instead we enjoy the silence looking at the sea. I didn't notice that his hand is still holding mine but I don't care, it feels right.

"You know... when I saw you this morning the first thing I noticed was you, not your friends" he said, squeezing my hand "Like, yeah they are Tom Holland and Harrison Osterflied, but... you are beautiful" "Charles..." "I don't want you think that I say this to every girl a see" he interrupted me "I mean it. You are gorgeous, Y/N"

I smiled and placed my head on his shoulder, leaning on him I little.

"Come to my garage tomorrow at the race" he whispered. "But I already talked with RedBull" "Only you" he insisted, interviewing our hands and caressing my skin "Please" "Okay..."

He laughed softly and stood from the bench. He drived me back to my hotel and I promised to meet him tomorrow at his garage, waving goodbye to him. Opening the door of the suite I'm welcomed my Tom and Harrison asking me about the date.

"It was... fine" I answered with a smile "The car, I mean. The date was actually really good." "Do you like him?" Tom asked with a smile. "Well... I only know him since this morning, but he's kinda cute"

The next morning we walked to the track, Tom waving to all the people who recognised him and laughed when McLaren started to put the SpiderMan theme song on their garage. When I reached the merchandising shop I stopped to by a Ferrari shirt and put it on me quickly, making Tom and Harrison laugh.

"What? I'm going to their garage, at least I should wear something for them" I sighed at them. "You like Charles " Harrison singed hugging my shoulders ", and that's really cute." "Yeah, whatever"

I stopped in front of Ferrari garage and Charles waved at me with a smile on his lips, dressed already on his driver suit. I followed him and sat where he indicated me before he reached to the car.

The race started, and he was first because he finished first yesterday on qualification. But after some minutes something happened to his car.

"No. No. No." He said via radio.

He can't race anymore, his car stopped working only at the warm up lap. The garage started to move stressed and requested for a safety car to bring Charles back. My phone started vibratting and the screen lighted up with a Tom's message.

Tommy: That was Charles, right?

Me: Yeah...

I heard the door of a car closing and the next thing that happened was a surprise to me. Charles started to walk towards me and he hugged me in front of everyone.

"Hey, are you alright?" I asked caressing his back. "I'm not" he whispered on my neck.

He started to shake and I searched for help with my eyes. A woman watched us and she waved to me catching my attention, making me go away from him and catching his hand walking in front of him. The woman lead us to an empty room and she smiled at me before closing the door.

"Hey" I put my hands on his cheeks lifting his head up. "No, please. Just... hug me."

I sighed and hugged him. He started to cry on me, wrapping me with his arms and making me caress his hair.

"It's okey to cry, Charles. I'm here, not going anywhere " I whispered softly.

He sat on the couch and I sat on his lap, humming on his hair trying to calm his nerves. When he stopped crying I took his face between my hands and dried his cheeks with my fingers.

"Everything is fine" I smiled to him.

He looked at me and started to lean on me, looking between my eyes and my lips. Our foreheads are touching and in one second his lips are on mine.

"I only know you for a day... but I already like you, Y/N" he sighed on my lips making me smile. "I like you too, Charles"
