"So what was it this time? Vlad again?"

"I wish! No, dad left his stupid Jack-o-ninetails at the top of the stairs and I tripped."

The response was met with laughter as the three teens sat at their desks.

The question was prompted by Danny's choice of attire for the day. The long, floor length, wavy black skirt was paired with a short but puffy sleeved green button up, and a darker green waist band around his waist covering where the shirt and skirt met. Not seen, mostly because he was floating but they didn't need to know that, were black boots gifted by Sam when he started to mess around with how to hide injuries and what clothing he we confident and comfortable with.

Well, one boot at least. He'd actually had to get a cast this time, as the break was pretty bad and his dad had seen, so even advanced healing meant he needed it.

"Only you could find a way to hide injuries while also giving people sexuality and gender crisis at the same time. Now sit still, you may be getting better with foundation but you need something or you'll look deader than normal." Sam made him turn around so she could start putting the eyeliner on him.

"Yeah, hands were shaking this morning, didn't quite want to look like a raccoon."

"Why not, you fight like one." Tucker teased from where he was finishing the homework for their senior history class next period.

"Rock the style not the look." Was Danny's only response, mostly cause Sam had a death (lol) grip on his jaw to keep his head in place tightened when he started to shift his head in response.

but we know a bit about a lot of different heroes! we watched most of the young justice cartoon and all of the original teen titans cartoon, a few movies, and had a bit of a dctv phase a loooong while back!

a Lot of what we know/engage with is based off of the mcu. despite its many, many issues, it's just a bit more accessible for our brain right now. we engage critically -

moon knight (including mcu moon knight - though we do recognize the issues with it)

spider-man (multiple mediums. right now we're mostly reading/writing mcu spiderman and engaging with spiderverse stuff)

some daredevil stuff (most knowledge is from mcu)

and some avengers stuff (most knowledge is also from mcu 😭)

the owl house

interest for this is simmering in the background right now but we still post about it regularly

ut/dr. mostly undertale haha

& some other stuff too but we'll most talk about the above here until our interest inevitably changes!

Personal canons are the canon everyone has created based on the canon and fanon content they've consumed.

Expansion not necessary. I just wanted to add my thoughts.

1. Examples range from wanting to wrap his drinks in a web before drinking them to wanting to fall asleep curled up in the back corner of his closet. No, it doesn't matter which Spider-Man.

2. This one is just my perception of the two. There's nothing I can actually tell you about this other than the vibes seem to match.

3. The headcanon of Poison Ivy eating mostly meat is fun. (Not fully carnivore because I think she'd also eat plants because it's necessary to eat both to be a healthy human and can be healthy for the environment if done in moderation). I decided to combine it with Danny Phantom for this because I haven't seen anyone do it before. So, Ivy being mostly carnivorous and Sam being ultra-recyclo-vegetarian would be appalled at each others diets.

4. Cyborg's connected to a supercomputer created by a more scientifically advanced society, while Barbara is a human (I specified her because she's the best Bat at hacking.) Her being the best hacker in the universe is a stretch at best. There's gotta be computer languages she's unable to decipher because it's so different to any on earth. (I don't think anyone from earth should be able to hack cyborg or the mother/father boxes.) If your supercomputer can be hacked by the equivalent of a preteen with a 2010 samsung who doesn't even recognise the coding language you used, then you didn't create a supercomputer. (Mother/father boxes are sentient, autonomous computers btw.)

5. Young Justice was good. Great. It just seemed to stop caring as much about having the new audience learn about the characters after season 2. I wouldn't know who Razer is if I didn't watch Green Lantern: The Animated Series. I stopped having emotional connections with the characters by season 4 and they stopped wrapping up storylines in an emotionally fulfilling manor after season 2. As someone who never read any comic books except for Spider-man/Deadpool and a few green lantern ones and one batman and spider-man crossover, I don't care about the characters they shove into the show and expect everyone to care about.

6. I get it. The "he won't stop if he does it once" was only in one comic (apparently) and the comic was written by someone that (apparently) most of the fandom doesn't like. I don't care. Every reason he has for not killing is valid and coexists. He collects reasons to not kill like it's gold and he's a dragon. The only reason that is invalid and can't coexist is that he doesn't care enough about the people that could get hurt or killed to permanently stop people like Joker, Bane, or Scarecrow.

7. It makes sense if they were the two to get touch starved easily. Dick grew up in a circus where everyone was presumably pretty tight knit and Tim grew up in a home where appearance mattered more than feelings. But also they happen to be the characters I like to torture.

8. Strange is petty and I 100% believe that Tony started it. (Stephen is finishing it though.)

9. Freddy Freeman can't walk without crutches and flies in the comics. (I haven't read them, tho) I feel like it's erasing disabled peoples' struggles when they just give him the ability to walk in his hero form. Let him be a little flying guy who never touches the ground.

10. It's a comic thing again. I just think it's more interesting. (I found pages of captain marvel comics in google images and tumblr.)

There’s a Fine Line

Danny stared at his shoes, eyes unseeing as the adults bustled around him. They were just messing around. Just taking pictures in the lab. None of this was supposed to happen this way.

The adults whispered to one another, a miracle they said. Standing in the portal had somehow been the only thing that had saved him.

But it hadn’t. It definitely hadn’t saved him, that was for sure.

Just five hours before everything had been normal.

“Come on Danny, just step inside so I can take a picture!” Sam had insisted, holding her phone ready to take a picture of her friend.

“Yeah man, it just looks so cool, don’t you think it’d make a pretty cool picture?” Tucker said with a smile. Danny just gave them a nervous smile and shrugged the jumpsuit on. His parents were upstairs cooking dinner, Jazz was in her room in her bedroom doing homework. No one would notice if he just stepped in for just a second.

Once he had gotten the suit zipped up, Danny walked towards the portal and took a step in only for his foot to get caught on a cord on the ground. He felt his body propel forward and caught himself on the wall, his hand slammed into a button.

After that, it was just pain.

When he woke up, the house was gone, fire blazed around him, sirens rang through the air but there was no house. Just him and the portal. He slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes, trying to wake up from this nightmare. But the house was still burning and-and that was Sam’s boot on the ground but where was Sam? Where was Tucker? Or Jazz, or his mom or his dad?

“We found the youngest Fenton! He’s alive!” A fireman shouted, running towards Danny.

It had been some kind of nuclear explosion, they said. Something in the lab had exploded just as Danny had turned the portal on.

Now he was sitting in the Amity Park police department as the officers tried to figure out what they were going to do with the fourteen year old. Apparently someone that had been scheduled to meet with his parents about buying some of their weapons was coming to talk to him.

Danny wasn’t sure what exactly was going on but he didn’t really care. Everything in him was demanding that he run away, fast away and disappear forever.

His Aunt Alicia refused to foster him after learning he had come out as trans, no one could get a hold of his mysterious god father that he’d never met, he was basically completely and totally alone.

Everyone he knew and loved were gone and it was his fault. He should have never gone in the portal.

Bruce Wayne hadn’t expected this to happen when he came to Amity Park. The twenty-six year old had originally come to this sleepy town to talk to the Drs. Fenton about their inventions and studies. If there was any credence to their work, he was interested in purchasing at least a few of their weapons, just on the off chance that ghosts ever attacked Gotham. He had not expected to see a large mushroom shaped explosion from across town at the very place he was supposed to go to in just twenty four hours.

Then he had learned that the only survivor in the house had been the Fenton’s youngest child, Danielle Fenton. Something in him had screamed that he needed to go and meet the young girl to see if she was okay, to provide some kind of comfort. He knew what it was like to lose your parents at a young age, he had been even younger than the young girl when he had lost his own parents.

He raced to the police department, already prepared to take the girl in. Only, when he had gotten there, he just seen a teenage boy sitting with a shock blanket wrapped around his shoulders.

“Ah Mr. Wayne!” An officer said upon seeing the billionair. “My name is Officer Haddis, we spoke on the phone. It’s so kind of you to offer your home to Ms. Fenton here-”

“Mister,” Danielle said, glaring at the officer. “I’ve already told you, I go by Daniel. My parents just never got to change my information,” Daniel snapped, glaring at the officer. They looked at Bruce with a scrutinizing look, their brows furrowed. “Who’re you?”

Bruce smiled and crouched down to the teenager’s level where they sat in the creaky, plastic chair and held out his hand. “My name is Bruce Wayne, I use he/him pronouns. I was supposed to meet with your parents tomorrow about their inventions. I’m so sorry for what happened,” he said quietly, his chest aching at the dullness in Daniel’s eyes. “I lost my parents when I was really young too. I was thinking, maybe you could come stay with me?”

Daniel stared at him for a moment before they took his hand. “Danny, he/him. It’s better than getting thrown in fostercare, I guess,” he mumbled, shaking Bruce’s hand. “If you misgender me, though, I’m kicking your ass.”

The vigilante just chuckled and shook his head. “I wouldn’t dare to do something like that. Now, how about we get some paperwork finished and we can go back to my apartment and start figuring out what we’re going to do from here.”

He’s canonically bad at naming things (cat named katt, replies 'good name' (serious) when told that they were calling a guy 'the weird' because all the readings on him are so weird, best code name he could come up with was 'warrior') so naming himself Guy is a natural fit. He gets alien shapeshifting/healing powers at one point which results in him being genuinely concerned when a teammate jokes about him possibly being pregnant. There’s also a comment about how 'even your voice has changed'. He overcompensates with his masculinity. In his main team (the justice league international) he mostly only gets acknowledged to be yelled at, sometimes because he deserved it, but sometimes because he’s taking up space (which will happen to trans mascs in lgbt spaces a lot) (and the whole jli is very queer coded so…). And in the post 2011 DC universe (New 52) most characters treat him in a hostile manner even though the reputation for crudeness he’d built in the 80s was retconned so he basically gets a negative reaction for no reason which again mirrors the trans masc experience in lgbt spaces. He’s also been subjected to two different genderbend storylines, a one shot in the 90s and an ongoing story in the 2010s."

They're two mad scientists, one's carelessness changing the other's life irrevocably and the other hates him for it enough for murder attempts. Come on. You guys have to see it too.

Vlad wears a mask of a generous self-made man who'd like to reconnect with his long lost friends. But he's not that careful. What if Jack picks up on it and idk, plays a psychological game with Vlad?

What if it ends up as a poly relationship where Jack and Maddie love each other, and with Maddie's consent, Jack pursues Vlad like a wolf in the golden retriever's clothing?

1. Add identity shenanigans where Jack feels jealous of Plasmius and Vlad's relationship

2. Make Jack act like an excited puppy around Vlad but a hunting hound when sees Plasmius. Jack knows they're the same person. But the mental gymnastics Vlad has to do to keep up the act means he accidentally trains himself to find excuses for Jack's behavior. Like any slipups from Jack's part or Jack's ...advances.

3. Make Jack put up with Vlad's murder attempts because he feels guilty and wants to bond with Vlad.

4. Make him intentionally step into traps because it makes Vlad happy.

5. Make him intentionally DESTROY the traps because Vlad looks really hot (both figuratively and literally) when he's angry.

6. Make Jack play up his clumsiness. When Vlad falls into a lake alongside him and comes out wet and miserable, Jack feels ...something.

7. Make Jack flirts with Vlad but with an excuse like, he's just affectionate with his friend.

8. Add angst to 7. by making Maddie/Jazz/Danny confront Jack about his relationship with Vlad.

8. Make Vlad try to present himself as a better husband to Maddie but make Jack fall in love with him instead.

18. Make both of them halfas and their violent urges need to be met. (Have you ever read fics where sex with non-human is really violence?)

19. Make Vlad unconsciously purrs around Jack. Vlad falls asleep on the Fenton's couch and Jack picks him up, moving him to a guest room? Vlad purrs and nuzzles into his hold. Jack plays with Vlad's hair? Purrs. Sitting next to each other? Purrs. Danny comes back home to see purring Vlad arching his back so Jack can scratch it better, and quietly walks back out

20. Just do it like any other ships from Danny Phantom fandom or dpxdc crossover: create as many plotless fluff or porn (pwp) as you want. I just want to advertise the ship.

Ok, i had a really weird dream that took place in the MCU, and was also a Danny Phantom Crossover? Feel free to consider this a prompt if you like, though it does follow weird dream logic somewhat. It wasn't too clear when exactly the dream took place, but Tony and Natasha were both still alive.

Basically Natasha was taking Peter Parker to get his T-shot (my dreams are awesome). They were both in costume so apparently it was a Spider-T-Shot. And they were both kidnapped and stuck in an arena akin to those from the Hunger Games, and in the arena were hundreds of zombies. The bounds of the arena would steadily shrink forcing them to face the zombies rather than just avoid them.

So Black Widow, in all her badass assassin glory, had to teach Peter, certified child genius and super hero how to survive the mini zombie apocalypse. She was also trying to preserve his innocence by not making him have to kill a bunch of people even if they were zombies.

Meanwhile Tony Stark had started seeing a therapist at Pepper's insistence. To keep himself safe, Pepper and the therapist who was Pepper's friend were on a train that was constantly in motion so neither of them could be targeted. Except Tony was still Tony and he was a huge dick to the therapist who ended up creating the plot of taking Peter, Tony's pseudo son, to humble Tony. The therapist had no interest in harming Pepper, and the two of them were kept perfectly safe, even from Tony aboard the train.

Where it got slightly weird (weirder) was that apparently Natasha was not supposed to be taken either, instead Peter's adopted sister Jazz Fenton was the red-head who was supposed to be taken. I'm not sure if the Fentons adopted Peter Parker, or if Aunt May adopted Jazz and Danny, but apparently Jazz just collects trans masc brothers.

So now Jazz (and Danny?) are outside the arena trying to get in to save Peter, while Tony is trying to catch the unstopping train to defeat his on therapist (I'm sure Jazz as a fellow psych would be very interested in the implications of that statement) while Black Widow and Spider-Man fight to survive against mutant zombies.

Tiny Not Sober AUs for DC/DP to encourage my hyper fixation:

1) Jack Fenton is the time traveling clone/son of both Superman and Batman. An organization mixed their DNA. A scientist felt guilty about raising a baby to be a weapon so they stole the baby. Would have given them over to the heroes. Didn’t happen. Baby got lost in time to become Jack. He’s thrilled learning this when it comes out after the organization is exposed and the heroes look for the baby.

2) Okay so I read a fic where Maddie is the one gunho about dissection and stuff while Jack FREAKS out, saving his son. I wanna use that idea and have Jack discover Danny is Phantom when he was walks into the lab to find his wife HURTING THEIR KID. He stops her, learns everything, tries to help his son and is forced to knock Maddie out. He takes Danny and Jazz, running to Gotham to protect them because Jazz was also locked up because Maddie learned she is liminal. Jack meets a very nice man who runs a club he works as a bouncer for while keeping his kids safe. His kids were making friends and his boss was awesome about the fake ID stuff. Now if only that furry wasn’t breaking things at the club and his son’s ghost enemies didn’t follow him

3) I latched onto Jack. I don’t know why. But okay so Jack and Maddie get divorced after the portal thing because they found Danny going into it, freaked and Maddie didn’t take it well. Jack refuses to let her hurt him and divorces her. Her claiming her son is half ghost, evil and must be destroyed gets held up in court.

Then Phantom shit happens and everyone figures it out really early. Maddie is keeping the portal open and shit. I’m a little not sober as I write this so… I will expand later if asked. Jack decides he needs to call up his old friend from college he made before he got into ghosts: Barry Allen, forensics scientist. Why? “Oh he’s the Flash. The guy was BAD at hiding it. Like super bad.”

*proceeds to not see that Vlad is evil until Danny spells it out* “ah. Oh maybe it’s cause we dated.”

Cue record scratch and insanity.

4) Ellie out of nowhere rapidly gets sick. Trans!Danny needs to mix her DNA with someone else’s or she’ll die. He panics and uses a random DNA sample from the ghost zone cause there’s a ghost there with an obsession for science he was visiting. The DNA is of either: Tim or Dick.

Ellie gets deaged to newborn and Danny freaks out. Of course now he’s aware he needs to tell the other parent cause it’s be fucking rude otherwise. Luckily, he had slept with the other ‘parent’ long enough it fits. Danny has some help acting as if it was a pregnancy out of nowhere. As in ‘didn’t notice at all’. Mostly doctors help faking it and some illusions.

He then contacts the other dad.

Or: Ellie’s orb gets absorbed and now Danny has to give birth so he seduces the other person so Ellie can have two dads. Or he just has to find someone to do that with?!?

5) … I have a thing about pregnancy fics and kid stories but like: some rouge kidnaps trans!Danny cause his DNA was in the system after his parents had him and Jazz be put into it before he went ghost. Why? Cause Jack was worried that his connection to his cousin Clark would be discovered. Because Jack knew Clark was Superman and worried. (Also: this AU has the parents knowing from the get go cause I keep trying to find a fic like that, with good parents.)

But so like I did some bitty gritty research on this but fuck it its a world with ghosts and superheroes. I don’t care if it doesn’t match with reality. Danny’s DNA has him being riven to be a genetically compatible person to one of the bat kids. Like any child born from them would be the ‘perfect’ specimen or bled or whatever. So now Danny got snatched and pregnant and the Batfam saves him cause Jack calls up his cousin. They find out and it’s chaos.

6) Trans!Danny is the twin of Damian cause I’ve only seen it once but the sentance: you picked a name for yourself but go by another is stuck in my head and also the shenanigans of Damian learning his twin survived, is really a boy and all is fun. Bonus: Ellie is a baby so Damian is convinced he’s an uncle.

He’s not wrong.
