She didn't expect to be called years later about the child she had to give up.

The baby girl she only seen once is now a traumatized teenage boy whose adoptive family and friends were all killed.

The funniest thing to me about the trans Danny headcannon is when its paired with the Fentons finding out hes a ghost and trying to dissect him. Like Jack calls him "Danny boy" so obviously they're supportive and affirming. I bet they'd even make hormones for his HRT in their lab. I bet they'd even do his top surgery for him if he asked (which is really funny with the dissection thing, like this isn't the first time they've cut him open on their lab table but this time its malicious). They completely accept his gender identity, but as soon as he comes out as a ghost, he's as good as dead to them (hah).

It makes me think of those parents who are like "yeah you're gay and trans, that's fine, of course I love you. You're VEGAN?! YOUR MOTHER'S GOING TO CRY WHEN SHE FINDS OUT! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"

Danny looked at Wes, and Wes looked at Danny, both of their eyes saying the exact same thing: What the fuck is even happening right now. 

Apparently they can be summoned. Apparently, a cult from a different dimension tried to summon something and got them instead. Apparently their bodies got shrunk, or de-aged or however one wanted to explain it. APPARENTLY, this universe has heroes, and apparently they seem to be their universe’s equivalent to two of the villains here. 

Honestly, these “Cheshire” and “Riddler” people couldn’t be that bad compared to the Fentons. What are the chances they’ve committed war crimes or joined a government branch to legally vivisect things? That’s right, no chance. Probably. 

They should probably leave the hero-people to their freakout and find a way home.

Is it possible for Danny to have a female clone as a male?

Short answer: Kinda. There are multiple options.

I'm not an expert by no means, but I'll try to simplify cloning for you. Also, reproductive cloning of humans is more of theoretical field than anything.

Let's start of with this: Dani probably isn't exactly a clone. A cloned embryo is essentially an identical twin of the original organism. She isn't that, because she isn't the same sex. Even if clones are genetically identical with one another, they will not be identical in physical or behavioral characteristics, because DNA is not the only determinant of these characteristics. That's why she is shorter, not as thin, behaves differently etc. Dani was made by reproductive cloning - the process of cloning an entire organism.

So, how to make Dani out of Danny?

To create a female clone from a man you could take his cells and turn off the Androgen receptor genes. The person will develop as female with XY chromosomes and will have Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome. This method creates genotypically male individual but phenotypically female, making them intersex. This would make a clone, but it wouldn't be "genetically" female.

Deleting the Y chromosome. This will create a female child with Turner's Syndrome. Most of the effects of which can be countered with hormone supplements at appropriate development stages.

Duplicate the male X chromosome - turning an XY into an XX. Though the resulting individual wouldn't be a perfect clone because the proportions of source DNA wouldn't be right, all the source material would come from the original male.

Bring in donor chromosomes from an unrelated female. All other genes will be identical to the "parent's" genome, and by controlling which X is active (only single X is active in a female). The 'clone' wouldn't be as identical as the other methods.

So yeah, either Danny is trans or Dani is intersex :D

Just realized a few things about my Mad Scientist AU for Danny so heres a lil list I guess??

never actually put where I got the idea from so here's the link to the prompt :

2. I haven't touched it in a while, and since his name has been decided I will release more lore and art of him (his name is Dr. Wraith)

3. He would totally have swarms of drones, blob ghosts, and blob ghost possessed drones that he calls either his babies, his pets, or his little demons

4. Joker got a bit jealous at one point of the amount of attention Dr. Wraith was getting from Batman so he decided to cause some much more dangerous havoc and joked that Batman should "Track down an actual threat rather than that off-brand Megamind hack" (Joker refuses to finish the movie cause he hates redemption) , to which Danny took as a challenge as started to make as many references as he could and now every Gothamite has come across at least seven Megamind memes about Batman's newest rouge, Dr. Wraith

5. Nobody really knows why he calls himself Dr. Wraith (they assume the blob ghosts are his creations/experiments) and the only thing they can come up with is how every time he gets captured the moment they look away he's gone and isn't back until at least the next day

another wip of the same fic as here. because i will burst if i don't share a little.

The room is nice. 

On the bed there is a change of clothes, presumably something for Danny to wear tomorrow as he’s already dressed in just a loose t-shirt and what he can only guess are some kind of men’s yoga pants. They’re comfy, and perfectly fine to sleep in.

In the bathroom there’s a new toothbrush and toothpaste. Danny wastes little time in using both, eager to get the residual taste of stomach acid out of his mouth. He’s surprised at how much he’s been sick today, usually it’s not as bad. Probably stress; and calling today stressful is generous at best. As he finishes rinsing his mouth, he debates taking a shower, seeing as it too is stocked with toiletries. He decides against it. He’ll shower in the morning. 

He exits the bathroom and crosses the floor to lock the door to the room; it’s the first time he’s been able to lock where he sleeps in two months. 

It’s nice.

It’s as he lays down that he lets the spiraling mess of his feelings wash over him. He’s panicked that he’s already revealed that he’s not normal. He’s confused that they didn’t immediately demand answers after all the other questions they had no problems asking. He’s scared that they’re just waiting for him to fall asleep and will ambush him as soon as he’s out (and do what? he’s not sure.) He’s conflicted, because he’s so, so glad to have gotten to see Damian again, and Alfred seems so genuinely unafraid of him and kind. But he saw the panicked look on everyone’s faces at his slip up; he hates that he doesn’t know what they mean. 

Danny’s also just so, so tired. 

And the bed is comfortable. He turns to look at the nightstand and blinks at the time displayed on a small, digital alarm clock. Two twenty-seven AM. He’s been up since six the previous day. 

He makes quick work of fiddling with the clock until he finds the option to set an alarm for seven AM. Hopefully that’s early enough that no one comes barging through the door. 

(It’s locked, he reminds himself; though when had that ever been enough to stop his parents from-)

Danny closes his eyes and takes a breath. 

He sets the clock back down on the nightstand and stands to move the clothes for tomorrow to a dresser on the other side of the room. He quickly takes off the t-shirt to remove his binder, places it next to the folded clothes and shivers as he slips the shirt back on. Then he’s back by the bed, pulling back the comforter and sheets on the bed and sliding himself underneath them. They’re soft too, feeling like silk compared to what he was used to. 

Yeah, the room is really nice.

Danny is like me in the fact that he will sit, hang, float upside down to help regulate issues, and he will very much forget that he has to sit adjust back to sitting normally, let alone standing after.

So he'll realize he's late for something-class, lab, lunch with friends, date with Dick, whatever-and immediately rush to stand, get halfway down the stairs/hall/whatever, and collapse to the floor or crash into the wall

Dick and others have found him many times like this.

Dick starts showing up early, when he can, to make sure Danny annually actually takes time to adjust

It just ends up with Danny falling onto him instead, not that either mind.

Someone gets Danny a salt lick as a joke when they find out it's one of the ones that's helpful. Danny 100% uses it, just leans over and licks it when he knows he needs it. This leads to others, likely Damian, finding the "'highest quality, filled with the best minerals needed' salt licks and stuff for gifts for Danny-either directly from Damian, or given to Dick to give to him-all of them are used and appreciated.

Danny has a love hate terrorism relationship with pickles.

On one hand: salty electrolyte filled treat.

On the other hand: if he bites into one more pickle that isn't crunchy-expecting exceptions for when it's warm on a sandwich or something intentionally-he's going to riot. It will be his supervillain moment.

He's good about eating when he remembers, but if he's in a hyperfixation moment, it can last ages and he'll forget. Tucker makes a reminder thing for him but it's not always helpful.

Once he went so long when he stood up after, it wasn't just black spots and wooziness, he actually passed out, hitting his head on the side of the table and actually cracking a ride l rib and arm landing wrong.

Dick and the others made him promise he'd set alarms. Tim just straight up makes one that visually and audibly reminds him to eat.

They then work together to fit it into his bracelets and then also sell it for others to use.
