Anything for you Zbops my beloved and anything for the best boy Satori
Chcolatier!Tendou x reader
warnings: slight secondhand embarrassment, none
Word count: 1,400 (about)
Summary: Satori has spent a lot of time working up the courage to ask his favorite customer out on a date, the only real problem is you say yes to him and he's never been on a date before.
Tendou’s head shot up when the door chimed, but it wasn’t who he wanted to see. He was always on edge at this time of the day, any second now you would walk in and take his breath away like you always did.
You’d forgotten someone's birthday and needed a quick gift, so you’d bought a box of fancy chocolate from him, Satori had suggested that you buy some for yourself next time and you’d taken him up on that, now you came in almost every day to sample whatever he was working on or just to spend your lunch with him.
Satori was completely head over heels for you. His heart lept into his throat when he saw you, hearing your laugh and seeing your smile was euphoric. He also had the sneaking suspicion that you liked him too, maybe he was just reading too much into it, but he got the feeling that you wouldn’t spend your lunch with him every day if you didn’t care about him.
The bell chimed again and again his head shot up, this time he was rewarded. “Hello, Satori!” you greeted cheerfully. Tendou couldn’t help but grin as you made your way over to the counter, it was like the sun itself had entered the store.
“Anything special for me today?” you asked, meeting him at the counter. Tendou couldn’t help it, he started laughing.
“What?” you asked laughing along with him.
“How did you know?” he asked and pulled out a plate of specially prepared chocolates he had made for you. He’d branched out slightly, and made rose-flavored cookies with delicate chocolate flowers on top, instead of his usual chocolate-only creations.
“Oh Satori these are so beautiful, are you sure I can eat them?” you gasped, he bit back the urge to inform you that the Cookies didn’t hold a candle to your beauty but he restrained himself.
“they’re meant to be eaten,” he insisted. Delicately, you lifted the cookie to your mouth and took a bite. You were always so amazed at how Tendou could make such delicious deserts, the cookie was flakey but didn’t crumble when you but in. you couldn’t quite place your finger on what you were tasting but you did know that it was good.
“Thank you so much Satori, that was amazing, how much do I owe you?” you asked.
“Technically they aren’t on the menu so you don’t owe me a dime, if anything I should pay you for being my taste tester,” he said. You scowled at him but he could tell that you weren’t really upset with him.
Satori was too giving for his own good sometimes, he was always insisting that you didn’t need to pay or slipping extras into your orders. You swore that if he treated every customer this way he’d go broke.
“I insist,” you said.
“You can pay me back but not with money,” he decided.
“Pay you back with what then?” you asked.
“Your time, come see me tomorrow,”
“Satori I come into the shop every day, that’s hardly payment,” you scoffed.
“I don’t work tomorrow, if you come in you won’t see me,” he explained. You looked at him puzzled
“You want me to see you outside of work then?” you clarified.
“Yes, on a date, in fact,” he said, Satori could feel his heart racing as he spoke, but he was tired of dancing around you and hiding his feelings for you. Satori had never been on a date before, he wasn’t sure what he would even do if you said yes, but he was sure that he could figure it out. You beamed at him, picking up the second cookie on the plate.
“I would like that Satori.”
Tendou stared uncomfortably at the contents of his closet. Much of his wardrobe was devoted to work clothes, and the rest was almost all workout clothes, he didn’t think either of those things was appropriate for a date, Especially when he had told you to dress nice. Tendou did what he always did when he had no clue what he was doing. He called Wakatoshi.
Ushijima didn’t greet him when he picked up the phone, but Satori could hear the sound of him breathing and took that as his queue to speak.
“What do people wear on dates Wakatoshi?” he asked.
“Are you going on a date?”
“Don’t sound so surprised Wakatoshi, I am a very desirable man you should see how many people I have to turn down every day,” Tendou teased.
“You get so many invitations but you don’t know what people wear on dates?” Wakatoshi asked, missing the joke.
“Anyways, what would you wear if you wanted to impress someone on a date?”
“A Suit?” Ushijima offered after a moment of thinking.
“A suit,” Tendou repeated digging through his closet looking for anything suitlike he had. “I don’t know If I have a suit,” he said thoughtfully.
“What about the one you wore to Etta’s wedding?” Satori latched onto the idea and started digging before eventually finding the tux he was looking for. In the back of his mind  Satori thought that this might be too much, but how should he have known? He’d never been on a date before.
You had no idea what to expect from your date this afternoon. Satori had told you to dress nice and insisted on keeping everything else a surprise. You thought you’d dressed adequately per those vague instructions, Nice but nothing too fancy, this was just lunch after all. There was a hesitant knock on your door, and you felt your heart leap into your throat. He was early.
Both yours and Satori’s hearts sank as you saw the other. He was dressed much nicer than you were. Tendou could feel his face burn with embarrassment, for a horrible moment he thought you might laugh at him. You, meanwhile were in a panic thinking if you had anything that would match his tux, and dread filled your stomach as you realized that you did not.
“I’m sorry-” you both said at the same time, then laughed awkwardly.
“I was just going to take you down to the park for a picnic, I guess I overdressed huh?” he asked, Tendou looked so embarrassed he might cry.
“Not at all,” you rebuked, “just I don’t have anything to match, would you mind going shopping first?” you asked. It would be fun to get all dressed up just to hang out, and you wouldn’t mind having something nicer in your wardrobe.
Satori went with you to an upscale boutique and watched you try on a few outfits. He seemed in much better spirits by the time you finally decided on something to buy. You changed and the two of you walked down the streets of Paris together, dressed to the nines.
He lead you to a secluded park, away from tourists but it was lovely all the same.  The two of you sat under a shade tree on a woven blanket, he pulled out a basket and displayed what he’d brought. There were small finger sandwiches, a bottle of wine, and dozens and dozens of chocolate truffles. The two of you laughed and ate and drank. Tendou leaned in handing you chocolate, he clearly meant for you to take it with your hands from him, instead, you leaned in and took the dessert in your mouth. Tendou looked at you, mouth agape.
“What a tease,” he laughed after he regained the ability to speak. You laughed and offered him chocolate, Satori blushed and took it from your hands. You felt your face heat up too as his lips touched your fingers. After that, both of you went silent.
“Are you having a good time?” Satori asked sheepishly, the blush on his cheeks remained.
You leaned in and kissed his cheek, “I’m having a wonderful time Satori I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my day with anyone else.”

was thinking a lot about the end of S3, where Tendou and Ushijima are stretching and Tendou, in the past tense, tells him that he "will brag about having been best buds back in the day," and I think about what we know about Tendou, and Ushi, and how Tendo had probably never had a best friend before then, had probably fallen into it by accident and found himself swept away by someone with such a resolute simplicity to his friendship-making that even all of Tendou's weird tendencies, offputing jokes or niche interests still made the cut. How Tendo had, probably, looked at the end of his volleyball career as the end of his first and his last best friendship, because Ushijima is overt about wanting to go pro and surely, surely, being his closest friend is a case of convenience, where they are in the same dorms, the same classes, the same gym. When Tendo is no longer standing beside him, someone of Ushijima's disposition will probably just look to whoever is standing there instead. Tendou thinks will complete confidence that they will not keep in touch after graduation, he thinks Ushijima is bound for glory and does not see himself worthy of a position at his side. I wonder if he kept thinking this while they were packing their bags. While Ushijima was celebrating his acceptance into a French school with him, while he was hugging him crushingly tight goodbye in the airport. I wonder if he still thought that it was an inevitable future when Ushijima was calling him after practice and making time for messages despite the time zones. I wonder if there was ever a specific point in which Tendo realizes that it was not some playful joke, that when Ushijima had returned the sentiment and called him his best friend, he had meant it with his whole heart, the same ferocity used to dominant a volleyball court turned into tenacity in the face of a long-distance relationship, a refusal to let go of his first and last best friendship. I wonder if Tendou in high school, who admires Ushijima so much, could ever have convinced himself that that same Ushijima holds so much admiration for him in return that he would fly across the world to meet him in Paris just to tell the world that they were best friends on international television.

Suna's pre-timeskip volleyball skill analysis
First off, Suna is acknowledged by Ukai as one of the main point-getters of Inarizaki. Then, the old man on the bench analyzed how Suna could manipulate other opponents/middle blockers using his torso and wide range of spikes. Apart from his blocking abilities, this is his most noticeable skill - so I could infer he became one of Inarizaki's main point-getters for this reason.
The reason why his special spike scores effectively was because of its wide range. If middle blockers could block the direction where Suna spikes, they forget the position - Suna then spikes to the side of their arms or above it. Middle blockers have to read through and eliminate all possibilities of his spikes, which, given the range and unpredictability of Suna's spiking positions, proves impossible. Middle blockers mostly block straight, so stopping Suna's spikes on the side requires high level of technique.
The key to his successfully spike is normal blocking from the opponent's middle blockers. Since his spikes are different from normal spikes, they require different blocking strategies, and using normal blocking strategies won't work. Suna is an average middle blocker who thinks and strategizes normally, so he could understand, predict, and manipulate what other middle blockers would do, who the middle blockers will be. He would lure them into a vulnerable blocking position that ensures his special spikes get through. For example: In Tsukki and Kageyama's blocks, Kageyama blocks on the left. Any normal spikers would spike on the right where space is most ample. However, Suna chose beforehand to spike above Kageyama's arms (as seen in him waiting for Kageyama to jump), which was completely unexpected. If he spikes on the right, good blockers would trace his moves and stop him there. He knows Kageyama would jump because Tsukki's blocks has too many open areas, and no matter where Kageyama jumps, left or right of him, Suna will spike above his arms.
It is due to practicing his knowledge to manipulate blocks that Suna becomes a good middle blocker. The knowledge is ingrained in his instincts, and he instinctively knew what the opponent spiker is going to do. As Ukai said, he has something akin to the sixth sense. This is why his blocking time is fast and he knows where and who to block: Tanaka. Tanaka is one of the main aces of Karasuno, and Inarizaki's job is to shut. him. down. Tanaka uses force, but with unvaried techniques, so middle blockers could shut him down easily if they mitigate the forces of his spikes. Middle blockers know how daunting being blocked could be, and Tanaka is easy to block, so Inarizaki's job is to shut him down every single time. No one-touches. Make sure the ball goes down to ensure the biggest blows on his mental capacity.
However, Suna's spikes only works well with read blockers.
Guess blockers, such as Tendou, focuses on Suna's behavior to determine what he is most likely to do. He does not focus on eliminating where Suna cannot spike, he focuses on how Suna will spike. Since the objective evidences about the ball and player's position will leave out too much possibilities, he chooses to analyze a player's movement, past actions, and body language to form a concrete conclusion. However, since signals aren't clear and body language are not universal, whether he is right or not relies entirely up to chance. but he has practiced his instincts and game sense to make sure he could interpret the player's strategies and chance will favor him as much as possible. So he could get a few correct blocks out of Suna's spikes and the longer Suna uses them, the better Tendou can figure him out.
How Suna is unpredictable to blockers is how Tendou is unpredictable to spiders. How Suna perceives blockers is how Tendou perceives spikers. Manipulating Tendou is notoriously difficult for Suna, and interpreting Suna is downright tricky for Tendou. No one knows what the other does next, unpredictability above unpredictability. Suna is daunted by Tendou and Tendou is daunted by Suna. They dislike each other, because they are such a pain in the ass standing in the way of each other's jobs. Tension's high. And any of Tendou's successful spikes only worsens it. Since Tendou could not exactly figure out where Suna will spike, he decides to one-touch it, to make sure what trajectory of the ball Suna has in his mind will be undone. Had Tendou caught up to Suna? Has Tendou figured him out? How to figure Tendou out faster? Suna has to change blocking strategies and positions of blocking, preserve the crucial unpredictability to score. Because apart from his special spike and excellent blocker skills, he has few else in his arsenal.
"A block that isn't scary is not called a block." And Tendou's blocks, though they cannot shut Suna's ball down, had Suna tiptoeing round the edges. One-touches can be as daunting to spikers.
Suna has one weakness - he doesn't use a wide range of tactics either. His arsenal focuses around his special spikes, and that meant if those tactics are successful, he will continuously use them. Maybe position changes, maybe where to spike. But the principle of using his torso to expand his spiking range is the same. Suna has good tactics, but there is a reason why the stats only say his game sense is 3/5. He has in-the-moment tricks up his sleeves, but he is not a long term strategist who analyzes the overall nature of the game like setters. He knows what middle blockers think, but he doesn't think differently from them, and think far, like Tsukki or Tendou.
Tsukki has figured this out.
The reason why Suna's spikes work well on "good middle blockers" is because he is a good middle blocker too, so he uses his knowledge to get past them and manipulate them. Good blockers will block where he wants to block. Good middle blockers will try to block.
Tsukki does not try to block.
He had figured out, although Suna's spikes are difficult to the middle blocker, receivers can adjust to it given they utilize the time it takes for the ball to travel to their spot. On first try, Daichi successfully received it despite never being used to these spikes before (not that good of a receive but he successfully kept the ball up). On second and third try, Tsukki discovered a pattern - if Tsukki kept on unsuccessfully blocking Suna's spikes, Suna will repeat such spikes again, in the same positions, in the same directions. It's laughably simple, but offers an important insight to blocking him. Daichi could adjust to Suna's spikes, and Tsukki's job became "making sure Suna spikes in a trajectory easy for Daichi to receive". Tsukki has to manipulate his blocks a little to make sure the ball's direction is not too difficult to receive, but Suna will keep on blocking in the same positions, in the same directions, and any unpredictability is eliminated, and Suna no longer becomes a threat. Tsukki doesn't have to care about how Suna will spike - he will just be a red herring and receivers will figure out the rest.
And Suna, not thinking or strategizing far enough, fell for it. He's a simple man - he has tricks relying on his instincts which work for the moment, but not too far down the road. He has instincts which only works for the moment, which only understands how to get past blocks. He's never been a good receiver.
Tsukki refused to be interpreted. He refused to act, and to reveal critical information about his behavior to Suna. His strategy is the most effective - it offers no direct information about who Tsukki is like himself, and it is incredibly hard to spot, since that strategy's key is Tsukki's inaction, masked as the guise of "a bad blocker".
That leads to the iconic battle of cockiness between Suna and Tsukki:
"Thank you for helping me make such clean hits." - Suna
"Thank you for spiking exactly how I wanted you to every time." - Tsukki
Tsukki outsmarted him. Without figuring Suna out, Suna is figured out.

He cant handle his crush on you.
Oh god, he can be smooth, he really can, just not when it comes to you. Dear god, this poor bitch. He is a natural flirt for Christ sake, if anything he’s use to people thinking he has something for them when he never even thought of them like that. Oh but when it comes to you??? *In an Italian mobster voice* forget about iiiiitttttttt. He’s a mess. You thought for the first solid week you knew him, you thought he was just super shy, but nope just you bitch. And he hates it.
He wants you to see he can be cool. He has had bitches before you. Although saying that in his head even sounds bad. Nah he’s a gentleman. ANYWAY that’s not the point. He can be all you want and more. But oh lord he feels like he’s 15 again, bitchless some may say fully unable to get any. The question is, do you find this cute? Do you even see him like that?? Do you see that under all the clumsiness and slight anxiety around you that he could make you so happy??
CHs - IWAZUMI(you best believe sittykawa is not letting him live),Suna (its weird for everyone around that this happen and u best motherfckin believe those twin bitches aren’t letting him live), Osamu (except now its suna and atsumu on his ass) , Karoo, Noya (this is fuckin adorable to think about! Imagine all the shit Tanaka would give him and then Asahi giving him advice??? Kill me) Tendou (Ushi sees this ONE time and tells him to just tell you, and when he doesn’t, he just goes up to you and is like “ok he likes you. Please don’t hurt his feelings.”) ok these of obviously all time skip BUT SPECIFICALLY time skip Rio Henita?? Confident as allllll fuck but then it’s u and there he is!! I think one of the things I love the most about Haikyuu is that even though the whole manga comes from a place of love from Furudate who created the story specifically to get people into volleyball, there is nothing to make you feel bad about not wanting to play anymore
There are characters who are completely obsessed with volleyball. There are characters who aren't obsessed but are interested enough to keep going. There are characters who weren't into it but did it anyway and then just couldn't stop. There are characters who started doing volleyball and then realized they didn't like it anymore, then left and were better for it. There are characters who are like "this was cool and it was nice but I don't want to do this forever". There are characters who never play but still support the teams anyway
And the story validates every single one of these experiences. There's no "this experience is better than that experience", there are just characters who like it, don't like it, are obsessed with it or can appreciate everything that happens in a game regardless of their feelings towards it
It's just really nice to go through the story and feel the whole acceptance through the writing itself, to see that Furudate is encouraging you to try volleyball, to experience how fun it can be, and if it's not fun for you or you fell out of love with it or just don't want to do it anymore, then that's fine! At least you experienced it! At least you tried! At least you learned something about yourself! And hopefully you made friends along the way!
Haikyuu inspires people to try something new but never does it show a characters negative feelings or lack of feelings towards it as invalid and wrong. It just encourages you to do what makes you happy. I really appreciate that

Skill Set - Haikyu men
What body part (hands, mouth, cock) haikyu men are best with. All characters post timeskip.
Can finger you like no one else. One of the few men who has not lost the fine art of fingering. His fingers are long and slender but so strong. They're callused from years of playing, but that only heightens your sensitivity. He finds your g spot easily, pressing into it until you’re soaked and needy. “Hmm, you like when I touch you like that, angel?” He toys with your clit until you’re right at the edge before plunging his fingers back into your throbbing pussy. Loves how easy it is to tease you like that. How fully in control he is over your pleasure with just a few touches. It’s such an ordinary part of the body, the hands, and yet his can pull the sweetest moans out of you like it’s nothing. “Go on and cum all over my fingers, baby. Wanna feel you squeeze ‘em real good.” Will literally play with your pussy for hours and absolutely will.
Tendou (loves making you watch in the mirror), Kageyama, tsukki (particularly loves teasing & is a lil meanie), Yamaguchi (got all his tips from tsukki), oikawa, kita, goshiki, semi. The way its almost exclusively setters lmao truly no one is better with their hands.
Loves eating pussy so much. Does it for his own pleasure as much as yours. Does it in all different positions - missionary, face sitting, from the back. Literally doesn’t care as long as he gets to eat you out. He presses his tongue into your tight hole, wiggling the warm, soft muscle inside you. “Mmm, tastes so fucking sweet.” Sucks on your clit until you’re squirming away from him. But don’t think you’re going anywhere. He’ll grip your hips tight, flicking his tongue over your aching clit until you’re gasping and shaking. He loves when you get lost in it, rutting your pussy against his tongue. “Yeah, baby, fuck my tongue just like that.” He’s not happy until his face is covered in your slick cum.
Tanaka, Nishinoya (regularly cums himself while eating you out), Sugawara, Kenma (loves face sitting bc all he has to do is lay down and move his tongue), Suna (Almost made him a hands guy, but I get the vibes he’s so fucking good at eating pussy. The biggest tease and makes you beg for it), Terushima (the tongue ring alone tells you all you need to know)
Gives the best dick. He’s nice and big, making your pussy stretch pleasurable every time. He knows exactly where to angle himself to get you seeing stars. Loves pressing your knees up to your chest and getting himself so deep inside you. “Feel that baby? Feel me in your tummy?” A weaker man would bust when he felt your pussy squeezing him like a vice, but he has unrivaled restraint. He knows how to perfectly work you up with, slow, long thrusts, then finishes you off fast and hard snaps of his hips. He’s so strong and can put the most delicious weight behind each pounding thrust. “Fuck princess, feel so good cumming on my cock.” Expect to go multiple rounds.
Ushijima (he has the biggest, thickest cock), Asahi, Hinata (energizer bunny level stamina and will literally rut into until he physically cannot cum anymore), Sakusa, Aran, Atsumu (he’s so fucking cocky about it. pun not intended), Daichi
BONUS - The men who can literally do it all. Can finger you senseless, will eat your pussy for hours, and will fuck you until you can barely walk. All above applies to them
Bokuto (the best partner literally lives to pleasure you), Coach Ukai (look at this man and tell me he doesn’t know how to fuck. I dare you), Iwaizumi, Osamu (you just know Atsumu mad he is here over him), Kuroo

Pairing: Aged up! Wakatoshi Ushijima x fem!reader
WC: 1.6k
Genre: slight angst to comfort/fluff
CW: fem!reader, inexperienced in relationships!Wakatoshi, slight angst from ushi :( , fluff and comfort all in the end :)) , maybe some self deprecation from reader, best friends with tendou, communication is always key

Being the girlfriend of the Wakatoshi Ushijima was something I didn’t expect would hurt this much. As his girlfriend, I understood the importance of volleyball since it quite literally is his career path. However, being in a relationship is a whole other aspect to think about.
There never really was anything that really stood out to me about his wrongdoings. He always made it to every dinner plan, he didn’t forget the classic month to month anniversaries, he seemed like he was just a gift from heaven.
I knew it was too good to be true when I realized we, or I, was severely lacking in the physical department of our relationship.
Ushijima and I never really got closer within touching or skin-ship distance. That really sucked for me and hurt my feelings since he aced every other aspect of our relationship, no pun intended.
I wasn’t sure if he was just uncomfortable with touching me or if he had some kind of weird feeling about touching me. However, with physical touch being my number one priority of love language I wasn’t sure how to go about telling him my feelings.
Giving Wakatoshi free rein to plan out his schedule, except for date nights, was a must. He is a grown man and I’m not his mother, but I always felt bad when there was something important, like this, to be talked about.
I couldn’t help but to bite my lip as I stared at our private text messages. His contact name, ‘Ushi baby’ stared right back at me whilst I tried to work up the courage to send a text.
Deciding against it, I threw my phone onto my bed and sighed loudly. He was at practice and had a game tomorrow so I didn’t want to bother him or cloud his mind with meaningless things like what I need to talk about.
I couldn’t help to wallow in my own pity. The clock on my white painted walls doing nothing but making the sound of ticking throughout my room which eventually annoyed me enough to leave.
It was around the time for Ushi’s practice to be over and I really wanted him to come over, I just didn’t know how everything would go.
Whenever we had first started dating I got introduced, and interviewed, by Wakatoshi’s best friend, Tendou. And now, Tendou was one of my closest friends so I decided to call the Chocolatier himself for support.
After the phone had rang for three seconds it picked up, “Hello! Hello!” the familiar voice sounded throughout my kitchen.
“Hey Ten! I am in need of advice and company.” I admitted due to the facetime call revealing his apron on with some stains of colors on it.
“Oh really?” He asked, drawing out the ‘really’.
“Yes, really. I need to talk to Wakatoshi, I’m just not sure how. Any ideas?”
“That depends on what you’re going to talk to him about. Saying the wrong thing could make him easily misunderstand what you mean and vice versa.” Tendou tried to poetically explain, as if I didn’t already know that.
“Yeah, thank you so much,” I rolled my eyes, “I’m feeling a bit.. lonely in our relationship lately. I need more physical affection from him and I’m not sure how to really bring it up because times that’s happened before.”
That little spill from me made memories pop up into my head of Ushijima rejecting my attempts for physical love.
I could only remember how he shrugged himself away from holding my hand or kissing me after I brought him a well-balanced lunch meal one day during practice.
I never felt more embarrassed or ashamed in my life. My own boyfriend rejected my advances to give him, and to receive love from him in front of his entire team.
It wasn’t the only time that that had happened. I tried doing it behind closed doors just in case he didn’t like publicly displaying affection. However, that didn’t work either when he moved away from me one night after being out to dinner.
From that point on it’s just been messaging, very little facetime, some phone calls, and occasionally visiting each other’s apartment. I wasn’t sure how to proceed with this, and I certainly didn’t think it was anywhere near enough to breaking up.
However, that doesn’t mean he didn’t hurt my feelings nor have been continuing to hurt them. Whether on purpose or not.
With Ushijima being a member of the Schweiden Adlers, I knew some of his teammates and occasionally talked with them about how my boyfriend was doing time to time.
However, I couldn’t help to not reach out to them within the last couple of weeks. I didn’t have the courage to confidently ask about him.
Tendou’s voice brought me back to where I needed to be, which was having this conversation to communicate my needs across to him.
“And since knowing him for a while helps my understanding, I think a simple conversation would do the trick. Honestly, I’m not sure why you called if you knew that too?” He questioned me, eyes peering dangerously close to mine through the tiny phone screen.
I bit my lip, “It’s just… he has a game tomorrow. I don’t want to ruin that by spouting dumb nonsense about how I’m not feeling this or that from him.”
Growing up, I’ve always considered other peoples thoughts, opinions, feelings before mine. It was just the kind of person I was, and now it hurts me the most when I need to express myself.
“Girl. Fuck that game.” He rolled his eyes at me.
“Yes Wakatoshi loves his career and it’ll always be there but you’re something in his life that can disappear at any moment. I think he’d want to know,” Tendou tried reasoning with my dumb logic as he pointed a wooden spoon in my direction.
I gave up. I knew in the back of my mind that Tendou was definitely right and I wasn’t but it was my own self that was keeping me from doing what I needed to do.
“Alright, I think I’ll ask him to come over tonight then.” I tried to say confidently after I made up my mind of what needed to be done.
“Great! When I’m in Tokyo next I’ll be sure to bring a little something for you and him.” Tendou winked at me before ending the facetime call.
That only left me to do one thing, text my boyfriend. I quickly sent him a text asking if it would be okay for him to come over after practice.
My nerves were all over the place as I waited for the tall, olive haired man to show up at my place.
Soon the door bell brought me out of my mind trance and when I opened the door I saw the one and only Ushijima.
“Hey Toshi, come in,” I widened the door after taking a good look at him.
It seemed like he came here right out of practice, he was still in his whole practice uniform. His usual stoic face didn’t change once I sat down on to my living room couch.
“Is something the matter, (Y/n)?” He bluntly asked, getting straight to the point with me.
I took a deep breath to prepare myself, “Yes, Toshi. There is something the matter. My feelings are hurt and have been hurt for a while due to the lack of physical touch in our relationship.” I paused for a moment to look over his face.
He seemed to be intently listening on every word I was saying which gave me the impression to keep going.
“I just want more skin ship with you like hugging, kissing, hang holding, or even just sitting beside you with arms touching. I feel deprived of that because you seem to always move away when I try to initiate it. Is there a reason or..?” I trailed off, finishing what I was saying and asking a question to see his side.
“I’m sorry for making you feel that way, (Y/n). I don’t understand the idea of that. It makes you feel more loved than usual?” He asked, trying to work around in his head of what I had mentioned.
“Well, yes. Without it I feel upset or rejected by you sometimes.” I hung my head low a bit, it was embarrassing having to discuss this. However, I was always one to get embarrassed or ashamed at anything I needed.
“I will try, for you.” He promised, his large hand reaching over to me and placing it on my knee. He was very warm and it traveled through my body.
I smiled a bit, “Thank you, I really appreciate it. I’m sorry for not telling you sooner.”
I scooted closer to him on the couch and he gave me his one million dollar small smile that I love. His arms wrapped around my shoulders whilst I hugged his torso. His lean but built, very built, body touched my soft one, I loved this feeling.
We stayed like that for a minute, nothing heard but the low volume of my living room TV and our breathing.
“Thank you, Toshi. I really appreciate that you’ll try for me.” I pulled away, already missing the hug but needing to say that to his face.
“Of course, love.” His hand came up to caress my face and I leaned into his touch.
The aching in my heart and body went away after discussing that with him. It was all just a bit miscommunication which was easily fixed after I expressed what I needed to.
I couldn’t be more content.
