Obey Me! Brothers with an Achlys(oc)! like reader

(that's how my oc, achlys look like btw!)

warning(s): meantions of death

a noble vampire, respected and feared by many, you're more than what meets the eye. You might look quite intimidating at first but you're quite well known among your peers for being playful and friendly. You could be quite the troublesome one too according to Dorothy and your partner in crime, Lovis.

While you love having fun, you also know when to be serious. You were naturally selected as a leader among your clan, successfully leading them for centuries.

But no matter how playful you are, you hold quite the grudge against human beings for hunting and killing off your clan and those you hold dear for. Ironically, you fell for a human witch that could never return your feelings.

Lucifer

one look and he knows you're not a human

come on, your fangs are poking out and those things under your eyes are way too obvious

not only that, you're also the leader of a whole vampire clan and from another world, how can they possibly let you stay here?

diavolo however, is ready to take on the challenge to let you stay. lucifer can't really go against diavolo's words, so he just hesitantly agree with a sigh

though that may be the beginning, he is quite pleased with having you around

you know how to act accordingly and the way you carry yourself and lead the people around you is really refreshing for once

this eased his headache a little

if only you weren't such a prankster

you always prank him when he least expected it

popping out of nowhere upside down from the ceiling is another bad habit of yours

not to mention, you always fly around the house without a care in the world😐

what he hates the most is that you're able to make the bats in devildom to do as you wish to prank him

you also prank random demons in devildom and its making him want to rip all of his hair out

well at least you get your work done i guess

you told him stories of how much troubles you've caused with your best friend, Lovis and he's suddenly thanking the sky above for not letting him live in the same world as you

He wants to meet Dorothy who have to keep you and Lovis in line all the time

When he finds out you have to watch the people around you die because of the vampire hunt tho,

though you're not on his level, he have to admit, you are quite powerful

he still remembers how you blasted a low ranking demon away with just a small kick because they tried to mess with you

growing up in a place full of dark and evil creatures, you surely know the weak points of a demon and you would always use it to your advantage to prank lucifer

Mammon

he's confused as to why they let a vampire stay but eh he got used to it

it's really fun being around you anyway

plus, that flying ability of yours help him get out of trouble whenever he needs your help

you tease him from time to time

but its mostly just booping his nose and calling him an idiot in a lighthearted tone

yeah he fell head over heels for you

you always seemed to know what to do and how to help him whenever he needs it and he's really grateful for that!

you told him he reminds you of your best friend, Lovis one time and how you feel less lonely around him one time

he's kind of pouty about being compared to Lovis, to which you ruffle his hair and say you're not replacing anyone and making anyone a replacement

he adores u for always being there for him

even tho he's really bad at expressing his emotions(no matter how badly he wanted to be able to be honest), he's glad that u didnt get offended and knows exactly what he feels and means

he finds out what you did back in your hometown, Ghost Town and got really hyped

he really wants to meet your clan and Lovis! And especially join the both of you in one of your pranks!

but wdym yall sometimes steal?🤨you're a noble, why would u need to steal from someone?

and wdym ghost town dont have any actual laws so y'all can just freely steal??? what kind of-

Dorothy kind of reminds him of Lucifer from your stories...scary😟

and you're just kind of helping a little bit while also causing problems

while he did not feel any bad feelings towards humans, he can sympathize as to why you feel that way

you have this "I'm expensive and you can never afford me" aura and he lives for that

your suit looks so pretty and expensive!! that lipring and those ear piercings you have are so cool too! you have this noble and intimidating aura around you and he just thinks that's so cool!!!

he doesn't give a damn that you're not a human, all he cares about is how cool you looked

you're like that one noble vampire in an anime and he's ready to just grovel beneath your feet

and the way you tease him from time to time gives him a heart attack

are you teasing him or flirting with him rn????

actually, why would you even want to flirt with a yucky otaku like him?

he doesn't really mind your pranks as long as it's not directed to him, he thinks they're pretty funny

especially after seeing lucifer's agitated face like LOL DID YOU SEE THAT??

he finds out you're the leader of your clan and have all these people who respects and loves you and go iTS NOT FAIR🤬

when you told him you hated humans but accidentally fell for a human witch who is apparently the lover of your king, he feels kind of bad

because 1. that's actually so sad??? and 2. bcs he thought it was similar to this one anime he watched once and he feels bad that he even thought of that

he hears you talk about Lovis and is suddenly all sad and gloomy

your ability to fly and turn into a bat is making him make actual blueprints of what pranks he can do on lucifer

but wdym ur world also have a demon king and u apparently live in the underworld before(which is probably ur world's own devildom)?

apparently that king of yours decided to step down from his position and let all of his subjects roam around free from the underworld so now you and dorothy are mostly in charge of that town

he quite admires how you can lead that many people(well, creatures) and have fun at the same time

he rants about his problems to u sometimes and he really appreciate how you actually listen to everything without interrupting and how you try to make him feel better after

he heard of kyo, the zombie that you pranked a lot to fish a reaction out of them(since they're a zombie so they don't really feel any emotions)

he really wants to meet this kyo person(well, zombie), he's quite interested in their culture as a zombie and all

you're quite powerful and he quite enjoys watching you put someone in their place once they tried to mess with you

he was cheering you on in the background with lightstick and all

you don't really read books but he introduced you to some good ones so now you're hooked

he finds out about your hatred for humans and what caused it

while he does not feel any bad feelings towards humans, he does feel salty along with you

Asmodeus

you're HOT(not as hot as him ofc) and he instantly flirts with you the second he saw you

and the fact that you return it? YES.

FINALLY. someone who he can rant about skincare and beauty products who would not only listen but suggest him some good brands

he really likes your style! it gave off a very expensive vibe and he thinks it really suits you!

you guys often talk about fashion trends

sometimes you guys would even pick out each other's clothes and that's an honor bc asmo won't just let anyone do that

you guys even do each other's makeup sometimes

while he does enjoy ur company, pls don't appear out of nowhere upside down while hes putting on his makeup again

i haven’t played the new event but I do agree with you that Mondsadt characters are generally written better. Like out of the archons, while I do love Zhongli, i will admit it more due to being starved from guys in fgo than his character. And I could care less about raides since they butchered her arc and stuck all the interesting pieces in lore rather than showing us. But Venti I could see how him being the god freedom would affect the way he acts as archon but is still willing to be there when it counts. And despite being an absentee archon his people are genuinely happy. And out of nations leaders, while the overworked girlboss is overused for Jean it works cuz its not considered cute on her and there’s like actual affects on people around her like her relationship with Barbara and her friends worrying about her. But honestly I think out of what the nations represent Mondstadts characters represent freedom the most. Also I think they’re allowed to be more goofy than other characters. Meanwhile Liyues characters are good but I think they shine a little better on their own, they don’t play off each other the same way Mondstadts. either way really wish the other nations would stop ragging on Mondstadt since the writing made it a whole lot easier to care about mondstadt then the other two.

FGO really is quality over quantity these days, huh? And then they have the audacity to not let you roll Michael and Takasugi. (maybe next year.)

I find that Mondstadt is more grounded in general. The 'freedom' theme is very well integrated into Mondstadt's city and lore (and a lot less nebulous than 'contracts' and 'eternity'), and there seems to be a... better sense of what the characters are about, at least for the 'core' cast (Jean, Diluc, Kaeya, Lisa, Amber, Venti, etc - I think Eula and Albedo are the most dubious).

What I like about the Mondstadt cast is... yeah, they're kinda messy, aren't they? There's a sense of drama here that's absent in Liyue and Inazuma, where most (MOST) characters are pretty well adjusted. I LIKED seeing Diluc and Kaeya get snippy at each other over Diluc selling Crepus' mansion, and Kaeya's unsubtle desperation to reconnect. Jean getting annoyed at being dragged away from her work. Eula getting smashed, and is jealous and bitter of the Traveller's ability to make friends. I liked Albedo being a bitch in the Archipelago! I like that Jean can't control Klee, and that Kaeya is a bad influence! I like that Crepus wasn't a great dad, I like that Diluc is a trainwreck human that can't deal with loss, I like that Venti's approach to being an Archon is fueled by trauma, and that had real bad effects on Mondstadt in the long run!

But because of that, these characters feel just that bit more rounded, you know? They have problems. They're messy. They're not perfect people. They screw up. There are consequences for that. I... don't feel this approach, like they're genuinely flawed characters, in other regions. Keqing has burnout, but don't worry - she already knows and is working on it! Zhongli never did anything wrong, ever, in his life (fuck azhdaha tho)! Ei didn't actually do a bad thing, everyone forgave her and doesn't blame her (it was Kazuha's friend's fault he died anyway!) Ningguang and Beidou are flawless Girlbosses! Shenhe and Ganyu's problems are fixed now!

Like, are there flaws in other region's characters that the game is willing to point out and take seriously? The game doesn't seem to think Xiao grinding himself to the bone is a problem (thanks Lantern Rite 2.0), Itto's troublesome nature has been framed as noble OR a joke, Beidou's bitchiness towards Ningguang reads more as the writer's not being to manage their dynamic, Yae's bitchiness isnt treated as a flaw and... I can't think of anything else off the top of my head that actually reads as intentional and not just... writing choices that weren't thought through very well. Hell, they even do damage control on CHILDE!

But because these characters are flawed and messy (intentionally so), I feel like they get less respect overall? I remember people being happy that Eula was soooo mature about her family, but that just meant she'd had part of her character arc off-screen and, to me, that made her a less dynamic character. So I was really pleased to see her so blatantly unhappy in this event! It means she still has growing to do, and her issues are tangibly causing problems onscreen! Because that's what you want from characters, right? For them to grow and become better and overcome challenges? Not for them to be perfect out of the box?

My Obey me MC headcanons! (Oc)

(Calling her "MC" because I still don't have a name for her)

•MC is really petite and not very strong, but she is strong enough to take care of herself.

•Likes videogames and cartoons (I'm not referring to anime, but typical western ones) and is a multifandom blogger and theorizer.

•Used to draw a lot but hasn't drawn too much since she started college :/

•Graduated college a few months ago but hasn't had any luck finding a job due to her lack of experience in the field >:(

•MC inherited the farm she lives in from her grandparents on her father's side.

°Her dad refused to take care of it since his life in the city was comfy and he wasn't interested in the demanding farm life, and MC has had been dreaming about moving out of the city since she finished college.

°Proud owner of a small crop of 5x5 and a chicken cop with 3 chickens!.

°She was feeding her chickens when she was summoned to the Devilmon (cue to MC still throwing seed to the floor not noticing her surroundings changed, and Barbatos giving a fake "cough" to catch MC's attention)

•She was a little annoyed she had to study for another year, she just graduated with her bachelor's degree for effs sake!

°Cue to her realizing a year is a long time for leaving a farm unattended and immediately crying about her poor chickens.

°Barbatos and Diavolo calm her down by telling her they would send some Little Devils to the human world to take care of her farm chores and little cottage. (I headcanon that Little Devils *can* go to the human world as long as Diavolo gives them a chore)

•MC hated Mammon at first, he was the embodiment of the reason why she wanted to live out of the city. He was a loud, noisy, backstabber, whinny jerk with her during the first month of her staying at the house.

•She didn't know how to feel about Leviathan tho, he reminds her of herself before inheriting the farm. But she also felt hurt when Leviathan called her a normie..l mean she kinda is but name-calling always hurts.

•MC didn't get a private moment with Lucifer until 3 days after her first day at the Devilmon, when he wanted to discuss lunch duty with her and the house chores she had to take care of/share with his brothers and house rules she had to follow.

°she had a good impression of him, he seemed like a reasonable per-err-demon. It didn't take much for her to wake up startled by Lucifer yelling at Mammon at 3 AM, and then the horrible sounds of Mammon being hanged upside down IN FRONT OF HER ROOM (don't know where MC room is in the game, but I headcanon is upstairs in front of the dining room).

•Her meeting with Asmodeus and Satan was nicer. Instead of them meeting like in the game, they actually meet because of Asmodeus. Asmo wanted to meet MC since day one, but he wanted her to get used to the Devilmom first. Satan offered to go with him so they both can meet her.

°Asmo was happy about the idea and grabbed Satan's wrist to run to MC's room.

•They both offered to show her their favorite parts of the Devilmon ^^

°they visited public parks and gardens, book stores, clothes stores, galleries, coffee shops, etc.

°they became friends after that (MC was still a little hesitant about trusting someone so soon, but that didn't last long when Satan and Asmo take her to a cat cafe where they spent almost 3 hours talking).

°they were pretty surprised when MC told them about her grandfather's passing, her parents, and the farm. (She doesn't look like a farmer at all)

[I also headcanon Asmodeus being an empath and Satan being more in control with his anger when he is around him]

•Her meeting with Beelzebub was also less troublesome, she offered to Asmo to take his lunch duty for the day as thanks to taking her to know Devilmon...then got lost after attempting to find the grocery store.

Fortunately, Beelzebub was on his way back to the mansion after eating at his favorite restaurant and offered help.

°He also offered to teach her how to cook some of the Devilmon recipes. (I see Beel being the type of guy who is always looking out for others, but he mostly did that because he hopes Belphie has someone to help him in the human world too)

...now, speaking about Belphie...

•MC had no idea why she went up the stairs, maybe she was tired of Lucifer's rules (and Satan's bad influence on her didn't help either ) and that was her way to rebel against him without suffering the consequences...how ironic.

•She is not very smart and believed Belphegor when he told her he was human too (and was terrified of the idea of Lucifer doing that to her too).

•She felt a certain empathy for the demon, so she started to sneak upstairs with books, food, and also to gossip about Satan's pranks to Lucifer.

•She figured out something was weird and start connecting the dots (AKA MC losing trust in him).

°Beelphegor used Beelzebub as an excuse for this, he apologize saying that a demon locked by his own brother doesn't look good, and was afraid of MC not helping him at all. And he really missed his twin.

Alrightly then here we go-

Spoilers for lessons 40+, just in case anyone scrolling doesn’t want spoilers

So basically Simeon’s behavior in the recent lessons (and even some cards) is really making me think he’s gonna fall. Mostly because he’s becoming increasingly unhappy with the celestial realm and he’s acting less and less angelic, for lack of better word. Right in the beginning of season 3 we run into Simeon and Luke who have been sent to the human realm to beginning bringing the realms together. One of the brothers mentions that something like this wouldn’t be a job for a angel with Simeon’s status, so that suggests that there is a possibility he was demoted or got in trouble some way already. Then during a rush hour of the cafe Simeon becomes increasingly frustrated with the brothers and looses his temper, he makes some threats and is overall pretty passive aggressive. Later he gets mad again at Satan after leaving him in charge of the cafe while he was gone (satan let in a ton of stray cats lmao). This is weird to me because in season one and two there were only two mentions of Simeon getting irritated (In season one he was just a bit annoyed with Lucifer and we all remember how strict he got in season two during the play right? Just these two things alone show a increase in wrath) Also, when he was made dateable he was matched up with Satan for the glow sticks, while this could just be a coincidence I feel like it might be because the sin is Simeon shows is wrath and it’s becoming more and more noticeable. Something to back up what I just said about the side characters being put with what brother’s sin they share for the glow sticks, Luke was put with Levi and personally I feel like he does show signs of envy. For example, in one of the chats MC has a sleepover at the purgatory hall and after Luke fell asleep they stayed up talking with Solomon and Simeon, Luke gets angry when they won’t tell him what they talked about and says next time he’ll stay up late and him and MC will have secret conversations. So with Simeon showing more and more wrath it might reach a point where he is corrupted, especially being around only humans and demons, with the exception of Luke, it makes it much more likely to happen. He also seems to be becoming increasingly unhappy with the Celestial realm. In the most recent chapters we once again slip through time with Satan and Simeon to when the brothers were still in the Celestial realm (these two seem to be paired together often-) and we over hear Simeon saying to Lucifer how things will change soon and that they’ll never be the same, while he could be reliving grief from the war we later learn this whole thing was caused so Satan and Simeon could see something they wanted which makes me believe Simeon wants to be with the brothers again, they all were such close friends after all. And after all that when we return to the normal timeline the MC in comforting Simeon when he mentions how the Celestial realm isn’t the same anymore and how it’s changed so much since the brothers left. In his UR+ he tells the MC how the celestial realm has become so quiet and that he doesn’t like the quiet as he’s grown to like the chaos the brothers seem to bring. So maybe before the exchange program Simeon accepted that he’d never be able to truly be with the brothers again, but after spending a long time with them during the exchange program it’s just made him long to be with them again. He wants to go back to when they all lived in the celestial realm, but that’s not possible, the only way for him to truly be with them would be to become a demon and join them in the devildom. And he literally says living in the devildom with the chaos has made him like the calm of the Celestial realm less. So knowing that he wants to be with the brothers again and that he prefers the chaos what’s really holding him back from leaving? The answer is Luke. Luke is the main reason he staying in the celestial realm, but from everything I’ve just said everything in the devildom seems to outweigh Luke. So while he is trying to stay for Luke, he can’t hold on as well as he used to. One slip up and he’s gone.

So in conclusion Luke will most likely go through one of the most depressing things possible and loose his best friend/parental figure to the devildom (it’ll probably make him hate demons even more then he already does lmao) sorry this got so long again-

I want my child to be happy but I live for angst-

I felt my heart drop at how long this is, I’m sorry, I’m a tormented college kid, it’s in my instincts 😭

Ok starting with the first part, I think Simeon, in my opinion, has always been a poor excuse of an angel. He’s sneaky and troublesome and has been known to have a temper to the point that some of the brothers have called him terrifying, so I totally agree.

I also agree with the Luke having envious traits, but that could also just be children being children and I can assure you, kids are jealous of just about anything...

I honestly do think that Simeon wants to be with the brothers again, like old times, I completely agree

I think something will happen with Micheal throughout the oncoming story, definitely, no doubt

I liked this little theory, it’s real fuckin sad tho so thanks for that

La Fayette's first letter to Washington

This is the very first letter (that we know of) that the Marquis de La Fayette wrote to General Washington. He wrote the letter while recuperating from the wound he suffered during the battle of Brandywine on September 11. There is something else about the letter that is quite remarkable - it is a direct inside in La Fayette’s process of learning English. After Washington’s death, his family returned all of La Fayette’s letters to the Marquis, as was rather common at that time. With the letters once more within his keep, La Fayette did something that he did with many, especially many of his early letters - he edited them. In the square brackets is all that La Fayette crossed out while editing. He also added a few sentences here and there but these additions are taken out of this version of the letter - the letter has basically been restored to its original state. So, when you are reading the letter and find yourself stumbling over La Fayette’s, at times quite … individual way of spelling things - that is just how he wrote back in October of 1777. (As somebody for whom English is a secondary language as well, I can relate. I would not want for anybody to see my first attempts at writing in English either.)

I thought there was a few more title asks still lurking in here for me to answer. *cracks knuckles* RAMBLE TIME.

-Star Wars AU. Star Wars FFXV sorta-x-over AU where the Astrals decide that Aera and Ardyn deserve a chance at happiness, just not on Eos, and therefore go YEET. The Force, finding these two wayward and powerful souls is like- Sure okay and boom. Ardyn and Aera are reborn in a galaxy far, far away.

-Purely not coincidentally, far away, on different worlds and in different star systems, one Satine Kryze and one Obi-Wan Kenobi take their first breaths.

-Yes I’m serious.

-This would be- SUCH a chaotic fixit AU, both because Aera loves peace but she is NO pacifist and not about to let an entire Culture DIE just because some so called New Mandalorians cannot see the dangers of burying their own past. Two because- well.

-Ardyn has already BEEN a Chosen One and an Accursed, a Hero and a Villain. He has walked the path to salvation and damnation both and seen the worst sides of himself and humanity, and for all they look different, every species in the galaxy isn’t far different from humanity in those regards.

-Obi-Wan Kenobi grows up in the Jedi Temple and he is a Troublesome Child. Too quiet and too reckless by turns, a smile that could melt butter and a tongue that can strip flesh from the backs of whatever bully goes after him this time. The Jedi ... worry. He is Dark, they whisper, was born with shreds of Darkness in his soul. He is manipulative, they worry, he has a temper, they gossip.

-Ardyn hears them all and inside a part of him screams. Because of course he is Dark, they did not have their souls swallowed by a plague for others’ sake, were not consumed with madness until dying (being freed) at the hands of a nephew two thousand years removed. As for manipulation ... he doesn’t mean to. It’s just ... he’s so much OLDER than the other children mentally, older even than any Jedi there (even YODA), he can’t help it that he thinks rings around people sometimes, or that he is so in tune with the Force (with a galaxy-spanning magic that burns beneath his skin like a hundred newborn suns that he keeps buried so the Jedi will not sense it so clearly, will not know how strong and old he really is inside) that he can practically read minds and knows what to say to get the best outcome. He has a temper. Who doesn’t? You try being reborn after a lifetime of AGONY and see how patient you are with petty morons and small minded bullies.

-He says none of those things, and when his time grows near to be sent away without a Master, he does not fight it.

-He looks at the shadow of Qui Gon Jinn in the doorway and something in the Force ... sings. Sad and soft. It speaks of heartache and betrayal and a fear of being hurt again. Ardyn can almost FEEL the two paths branching away under his feet, one with Qui Gon in it, and one without, and he does not know which one will bring him less pain.

-Ardyn does not try to impress anyone in the sparring ring, but after he is done, he slips away. He finds Jinn in the garden, trying to meditate, and settles down across from him without invitation.

-Qui Gon opens his eyes in annoyance. He knows that the Council wants him to take a Padawan, and that this one is almost at the age of being moved to the Corps. He expects the boy to beg to become a Padawan, or to try to impress him somehow.

-Instead the boy just smiles, thin and sharp and knowing in a way that makes Qui Gon feel ... exposed. Like every thought and wound in his heart is on display for this child, “The Council wants you to take a Padawan. That’s why they keep making you watch us.” It’s a statement, not a question.

-Qui Gon raises an eyebrow, “And you think I should take you?”

-The boy shrugs, but his blue eyes are still sharp as knives behind his friendly mien and Qui Gon doesn’t like the feeling crawling up his spine, “That’s your choice to make and yours alone. There’s nothing I can say to change your mind one way or the other.”

-“Then why are you here?” He asks suspiciously.

-“Because you’re lonely, and it makes the Force feel sad.” The answer is so blunt, so sure of itself. Qui Gon feels his stomach twist, and old anger makes him snappish without meaning to be (he’s heard of this boy as well, he’s heard that he’s got a manipulative streak and a tendency to twist his Force empathy to his own ends, he’s heard many things).

-(Qui Gon forgets that it is not a good idea, to base judgement on rumors) “I am not, and if I was, I would not need your company to ease it.”

-Obi-Wan Kenobi, Initiate of the Jedi Temple Ardyn Lucis Caelum, Sage and Healer King and Accursed, tilts his head thoughtfully, then nods and stands up, “Then I will take my leave. Take care of yourself, Master Jinn.”

-Initiate Kenobi Ardyn the Accursed and Healer King walks away, and a breath later the Living Force twists, like the snapping of cables, and Qui Gon gets the fleeting, distinct impression that he has failed some kind of very important test.

-Ardyn is assigned to the AgraCorps. A life as a farmer for others awaits him.

-The day before he’s to be shipped off, he walks out one of the Temple’s side-entrances and into the underbelly of Coruscant with only the clothes on his back. He doesn’t look back even once. It takes until the next day for anyone (for his friends, if he can call them friends when they are so much YOUNGER and painfully more innocent than him) to miss him. It takes another day for the Jedi to realize Obi-Wan Kenobi is well and truly missing.

-Deep in Coruscant’s seedy side, at the dockyards manned by those who are less than concerned with legality, a boy in ratty (stolen) clothes asks to be taken aboard as a maintenance worker. He calls himself Ardyn Izunia, and there are no Force Sensitives close enough to feel the sunlike fire burning in his blood as he smiles.

-Skip forward several years and Satine Kryze (Aera) is on the run from Death Watch, civil war is on the horizon and her father asks for Jedi protection to keep her safe.

-The bounty hunter who calls himself Adagium finds her first.

-A sword that glitters like blood and cuts through metal like a lightsaber (that hums-hums-hums with magic none but a Force sensitive can see blazing like bloody fire down the ancient blade) finishes off the Death Watch assassin that Satine hadn’t had the chance to shoot yet, and under his hood, Adagium smiles. Satine stills, head tilted as if listening, then she collapses into the teenage bounty hunter’s arms in joyous tears. Adagium- Ardyn- holds her close and cries with her.

- “I finally found you, My Aera,” he breathes and for a moment he lets his magic loose and it burns like the sun through the Force, lancing through the growing shadows in the Force like they’re fragile paper and somewhere far away Sidious feels Doom™ crawl violently up his spine.

-Aka that Fixit AU where Aera is a Mand’alor that DOES want peace for her people but NOT at the cost of burning history to the ground (or being defenseless, she has died to the sword once already she will not go quietly into the night a second time, not if she has to paint the walls in blood to protect her life and the lives of her people), the Jedi are Confused™, and Ardyn is incredibly content to be Aera’s former bounty hunter trophy husband with a tendency to adopt strays (read: Anakin and Shmi who he frees as well as Anakin kthanks, and quite possibly Savage and Feral too tho no one is quite sure how) until the Clone Wars start and Ardyn takes one (1) look at the war and goes: ah. I know this plan. This is a stupid plan. And all of Sidious’s plans go fwoosh.

-Because I’m sorry but there is no way you can convince me that Ardyn wouldn’t EAT SIDIOUS ALIVE in any kind of fight, mental, physical, Force, or tactical. This man is 2k years old. It took Sidious until he was an old sack of bones to get his Empire and that was with GENERATIONS of Sith serving as his foundation, and then he got yote down a reactor shaft by his minion 19-25 years later. Ardyn was able to manipulate an entire Empire into engineering its destruction and fulfill ALL HIS REVENGE GOALS (giving Bahamut a headache, driving the world to darkness and ruin, and ending the line of Lucis Caelum INCLUDING HIMSELF) in like- 30-40 years. While MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY ILL thanks to the Scourge. Fully healthy and in control of himself and with people (Aera) to protect? Sidious would just be fresh meat.

-Also Ardyn adopts a bunch of the clones, possibly all the clones, on the excuse that since they were raised by Mandalorian trainers they count as Mandalorians and as genetic sons of Jango Fett that makes the Mandalorian CITIZENS by BIRTHRIGHT and the Republic can only watch in confusion as their army gets mass adopted by the Mand’alor’s trophy husband who also exposed their new Chancellor as a Sith. Bail Organa, the new Chancellor, may or may not be sweating quietly at the thought of accidentally gaining the ire of the so called Trophy Husband because he’s smarter than most and knows that Ardyn is Very Very Dangerous.

-Also also Qui Gon doesn’t die somehow because I do really like him and I think he’s a good Jedi, just not a good fit for Ardyn as a master.

Hello, just gonna drop by with a message for a number of the blogs I follow and I kindly ask you share this because it's been a hassle for me and a few other of my friends too:

If you use the small font toggle on Tumblr posts, especially on relatively long ones and on your masterlist, we ask you please be mindful of those who have trouble reading smaller fonts (i.e. those who have bad eyesight/eye problems/people with learning disorders such as dyslexia.)

We do not speak for everyone but we do know some people have font size preferences when they have dyslexia because it's easier to discern characters that way. For myself specifically, I struggle reading small fonts when written consistently in long paragraphs such as certain responses to asks and occasionally some authors will choose to use the small font toggle for lengthy fics, especially on my desktop.

As for masterlists, if people chose to link parts to a character or a series with numbers such as: "[Character] Soft HCs [1] [2] [3]" when it's condensed to the small font like [Character] Soft HCs [1] [2] [3], it becomes a challenge for readers to click the proper link, moreso on mobile than anything else.

We sincerely ask authors and bloggers to be careful when choosing to use the small font toggle because we sincerely want to support our favourite accounts but we can't when we can't read some/majority of the posts you share. Again, it's okay to use the toggle, we get it, but we would appreciate it if it wasn't the sole of an aesthetic because it doesn't make certain blogs and posts accessible for us.

hey there, yeah i understand where you and your friends come from, i actually have really bad eyesight too and can’t really read without my glasses :( and yes i understand, i have a dyslexic friend and many friends who have eye strain, we know the struggle

hmm i know this is a general message for multiple blogs, but i’ll just explain how my posts work. i received a message before that i flood the dash/feed too much with my long ass responses and i wanted to make my posts less of a bother to others

i don’t really want to make my replies shorter in asks so i opted for using small fonts when i know i’m going to ramble for the convenience of my followers but apparently, that’s still not convenient and i don’t really want to draft everything and put the ‘keep reading tab’ every time i reply long then switch to my laptop where the tab is available.

i get like 10 asks or more in a day & it’s troublesome for me to keep drafting everything then get the tab on laptop so yeah, i used small fonts

my tumblr app isn’t updated tho, so i had to redownload/update it so i can make the keep reading tab work even on mobile. i’ll try and put the tabs on my longer replies from now on :)

as for the lengthy fics, no worries! i don’t really write fics where the story is in the smaller text, except for the warnings/notes and those are usually aren’t very much anyway

for my masterlists, i’m sorry but i won’t be changing them. i’m not really choosing the small fonts for the “aesthetics” but because i have a long ass masterlist that’s mostly vertical (as you can access from my pinned post and bio, they’re in bullet forms)

it’s hefty for me to scroll down and look for the character i’m linking back to when they’re all big/normally sized.

it’s for my convenience and i’d like to keep them that way because it saves me a lot of time since i have a lot of fics, but they’re very spaced out with color breaks so readers can access it better

and yeah no worries! my VERY FEW thirsts are formatted with squirt emojis (check the naoya ones if u wanna see) for proper spacings that makes it easier to access. thanks for the note!

As someone who does art, if someone use your picture for things like making a collage or something related without giving you credit- either they know the picture is yours or they don’t know it’s yours -will you, let them? Like, will it be consider an insult and make you feel unappreciated? Just had something in mind...

What if instead of putting your name, they simply say “credits to the owners”, due to not knowing exactly are the owner of the drawing?

Will you feel offended, in any way?

hello, i hope you are having a nice day as well!

tldr: if youre doing it for your own personal use (meaning you are the only one who sees it, and wont post online) then please feel free to do so. if you are posting this collage online, you can do so but please give credit, cause i drew the original image in the first place. please dont confuse this with me allowing reposts. i only allow my work to be used in collages, amvs, etc. because its someone turning my work into something new. theres creativity behind it. and dont even say “credit to the original owners” to me, it lights a raging fire in me that can compare to no other

and here is the longwinded explanation :D

for me, it all depends on whether the collage is for personal use or if its going to be reshared online. personal use means only you or some select friends/family will see it. i know some people like to do collages for fun as a personal hobby and i think thats really cool and i would definitely allow my art to be used for something like that ^^! something like this will fall under personal use. using art as phone wallpapers also falls under this category (which is why you dont have to ask for my permission to use my stuff as wallpapers ^v^) because youre the only one seeing/using it!

of course, there are some people who use art for edits/amvs/collages that they post online like you said and i think thats great. i know i have no reposting in my bio, but for people who make these edits using others art, they are using their own creativity to make something new, with a work that i drew!!! i think thats super cool so of course i allow it. with. credit. im very thankful to the people who asked me for my permission first though, because it shows they care about the original artist ;v;. online, multiple eyes are seeing it and artists should be given credit when credit is due. reposting tho? no creativity at all. the laziest thing you can do to a piece of work. download image, upload to another site, post.

and i absolutely hate whenever i see “credits to the owner” because to me its the laziest and most disrespectful thing you can do to an artist. just the phrasing...irks me. like the person recognizes that they dont own the piece, the artist is the owner, and yet they are still reposting without permission. even a repost with no caption fills me with less rage than a “credits to the owner” so yes, i will be offended. please dont do that

and in some cases there is a watermark on the piece itself!!! clearly written!!! in plain view!!!! and yet people still write “credits to the owner”. like no, the owners name is clearly written on the watermark. plus it takes not even 5 minutes to put an image into a reverse image searcher and find the original artist. i have done this multiple times because yes, reposting without credit is really that common unfortunately and troublesome for people (me) who want to follow and support the original artists :/// my art has gotten reposted COUNTLESS of times with and without credit, and at this point ive given up on keeping track of and reporting them all cause theres just so many. im convinced i am aware of only 5% of all my art thats gotten reposted.

so to me, as a person who has gotten my art reposted countless of times, saying “credit to the owner”, even though i have written in both of my account descriptions NO REPOSTING in all capital letters, and have watermarked most of my work, is very disrespectful. i remember when my work started getting reposted A LOT for the first time, and i would get super angry every time it happened, and that rage has fizzled out now but it still remains. i still hate reposting with a burning passion.

i understand theres the innocent kind of reposting where the person is like “this art is so cool! i want to share this with everyone i know!!” (i know cause i did this in the past when i was a stupid kid) and then theres the kind of reposting that tries to gain likes and followers...off of someone elses work. off of something that they have not even made or own. how do you tell the difference between these kinds of reposting? the second one will probably have 100 something tags in the description :/...how lazy could that be? to use someone elses work for your own personal gain. my work is my work alone. if you want to get big on social media, do it with your own work. period.

i know im not alone on this because there is not a single artist i have seen who allows reposts with no credit. (and some reposters have the gall to say theyve done nothing wronggg oooooooo how inconsiderate can they possibly be ooooo im gonna kick them) theres some artists who dont allow reposts at all, no matter what condition, and i completely understand because someones art is their intellectual property, im done.

in conclusion please be considerate to artists, we already got it rough as it is ;-; (sorry for the super long answer ;;;;)

hiiiiiii! can i ask what kind of pellets you feed your rabbits? and do you use timothy hay for them? and can i ask for some tips on how to take care of them? i have a rabbit too but it's my first time taking care of one, so i still kinda don't know what to do yet heheheh. it's fine if you don't want to answer though heheheheheh

hi! i’ll answer this ofc hehe im not an expert by any means but these r just precautions me and my sister take from videos about rabbits and even asking my friends for advice ^^ so sorry for the small text!

1) rn we use smallworld’s brand for pellets - it works perfectly fine and my rabbits really like them so it works the best for us !! oxbow is a good brand too and probably recommended by a lot of rabbit owners

2) we use timothy hay yes ! if ur rabbit is really young and small, use alfalfa. and please remember to always always ALWAYS keep your hay stocked and accessible to ur rabbit. this is an important part of their diet and if they dont get to eat hay for a long while, they’ll go into this stage called GI Stasis. its very very deadly for rabbits bc it affects their intestines and since rabbits dont have the ability to throw up or fart it out, their intestines is a good place to check if your bunny is okay.

3) consider getting them spayed / neutered ! i know that pet owners are 50/50 on the spaying / neutering topic, but i’d say it’s quite beneficial. rabbits are territorial and have a dominant-submissive relationship with other rabbits. when unspayed/unneutered rabbits become mature, they will mark the place that is unrecognizable to them as their territory. whether it’s chinning, pooping, even spraying pee everywhere to put their scent on said places. it’s super troublesome and they’ll also try and reproduce if they’re unspayed/neutered because their hormones are going absolutely crazy. if your rabbit is a female rabbit, PLEASE go get her spayed. female rabbits who are not spayed are prone to uterine tumours.

i think thats everything regarding health so let’s talk about bunnyproofing your home!

4) my rabbits are free roamed during the day and we put them back in their cages when we go to sleep and we let them back out the next day. my rabbits are neutered so we don’t really have to worry about their past behaviors of spraying pee everywhere. we blocked out every little space that my rabbits could get into bc theyre very curious little things and could possibly get themselves in danger.

5) keep your cords and cables OUT OF SIGHT!!!! rabbits are so so SOOOO notorious for destroying anything and everything that gets in their way and unfortunately almost every household has a fuckton of cords and cables and theyre all bound to be cut by rabbits. getting cable covers is a good idea but we never got one, my dad just replaces them BDSNBS

6) cardboard r good toys for rabbits and they can chew on them! just watch them and make sure they dont chew too much otherwise it’s possible for them to get intestinal blockages (which i thought song had but… he was jusg constipated and gassy…) sticks are also good!! my mom takes apple sticks from my grandma’s garden and dries them up before giving them to my rabbits :)

7) i live in a carpeted apartment and having rabbits is like … homicide for the carpet :/ if u live in the same type of apartment as me pls make sure ur rabbit doesnt rip up the carpet as often 😭

8) RABBITS CAN BE TRAINED TO USE LITTERBOXES!!!!!! we didnt really have to train my rabbits, they just started using the litterboxes on their own and u can do this by putting their poops in the box with some hay and bc of the scent, it’ll make them think that that is their territory :3 it’ll save u so much trouble and less poop to clean up. other places will advice u to get like chips for the pee to soak in but we just use a regular like pee pad for dogs bc its easy to change out

9) block out any small spaces that they could potentially get into. that includes spaces under the bed, under the couch, behind the tv where there are cords and cables, dressers - i don’t have this problem with song bc hes bigger in size and he knows he cant fit, but i have this problem with sang! hes much much smaller and he fits in small spaces and crawls in them easier and its just a pain to get him out so keep this in mind if ur rabbit is a menace and smaller in size ^

i think thats everything for bunnyproofing? so here r some other like things fhat we do for my rabbits

10) rabbits are just like cats and dogs, they settle for anything in terms of toys - i gave sang a small box and he plays with it and chews on it. its important to give them something to chew on if theyre not chewing hay bc rabbits’ teeth grow out suuuuper fast and u have to keep them chewing on something bc if u dont, and their teeth grow out, it could cause some growth problems!

11) u dont have to worry about bathing them. like at all. rabbits clean themselves way often than normal, they dont smell either! the only times that should be okay to bathe them is if they r really fucking dirty for example soaked in their own pee. do not AND I MEAN DO NOT regularly bathe them bc it sends them into a shock and could even cause death. we’ve had to do this to song and sang before they were neutered bc theyd be really dirty and soaked in pee and it’s just… gross to see them like that. (if u really really have to bathe them, use baby shampoo! its easier for their skin and their fur)

12) fun fact: rabbits LOVE bananas. they absolutely go fucking crazy over it - just dont give them too much fruits like strawberries and apples in one day bc they could get diabetes 😭 we let our rabbits eat as much as they want bc they stop when they dont want to eat anymore of the banana anyway. unless its song. song doesnt stop eating.

13) rabbits are actually very smart! u can put them in a routine with their meals like if u get them used to eatinf at around 11 am or earlier, they know the time of when they’ll be eating. for me tho song runs over to his bowl when he hears the rattling of the pellets in the scooper we have.

14) rabbits shed yes!! u can use a comb to get the shedding off but do not use a wired one. they have sensitive skin like fr fr sensitive skin and wired combs could cause abrasions on their skin which is never a good thing!!!

15) rabbits are, by nature, prey animals. they are naturally good at hiding their pain and sickness so its very very easy to miss them. u can easily tell if a rabbit isnt feeling well is if they are keeping to themselves, their ears are cold, they lose appetite, they dont move as much - something that’s not common to their usual behavior. so always keep an eye out for them!

i think thats everything i could think of ???? theyre high maintenance yeah just like any other animal but they are quite easy to take care of ! theyre also really really funny animals its adorable and i could fr watch them do their own thing every day.

they can be a lil bitch but tbh its so worth it, they are such cute critters. I JUST AGH I HOPE THIS HELPED U CAN ALWAYS SEND ME AN ASK ABT SOMETHINF AND I’LL GLADLY ANSWER IT FOR U!!!

Since I'm okey with people calling me out here I will unleash my humble opinion on a matter that makes me roll on my seat because is so funny as it also is so... uhmmm "weird" to have in count.

Take it as the writers huge mistake what I'm going to point out in a bit.

I guess I'm still salty even after 5 years. Is confusing at best and I'm adding this after writing all of this. Is a lot to read so please just know is a huge ramble.

aka me rambling over what I feel on rewatch been no longer that young

Is part of our experience judge that to some degree.

Characterization is important, it defines who we see on a story and is better if there are consistend or if their inconsistent have a good reason to be.

Well I was young once and could miss mistake like the 180° not so justified turn of events on a main character. I realize some years later and can laugh about it because it makes no sense.

I'm going to explain the case of Angel's Friends cartoon and that huge mistake from their characters.

Like I am fond of the series because it was my first fandom. But still I can't unsee this as you can guess.

Let's begin with the nature of something they like to state early on the cartoon show which was really cliché but angels were the goodie two-shoes and devils were the bad guys im general. Simple but not so simple for them to keep in rule it seems.

I like to imagine they respect some of the calm and more expected nature of the angels and the chaotic and up to no good ways of the devils like the Original comics did for both of them but we wouldn't be here on my post if that was the case.

It was quite a mess how the cartoon take the character since the side character could be so plain that you forgot that they were doing something till they were support help to their own side been angels or devils.

But again with the stuff that make me roll off till now and nobody on the show says a thing about.

They freaking mess up with their own statment of Sulfus on the cartoon show and they can't tell me no they didn't. Is hillarious and let me tell you why.

They may say on that thing how "loves make you change" but this one could be taken for a fool and is really lot coming from me.

They present him lot more chaotic and really problematic on just chapter 1, it did give an impression but everthing goes down hill a bit from her and on.

As the plot of first season is the villianess doing hidding matchmaking and poison of love plan that seem to turn into a real love story for this chaotic case of the female lead Raf an angel and the male lead who is Sulfus a devil so she could scape limbo to the terrible consecuenses that bring over a trully huge rule on the series wich is part of a magic code of not interfering with each other party and less uhmm a kiss, you really see lot of stuff go on here and mark my word is not like "oh no this is not safe for the kids" but is not quite recomended for them peraphs.

This doesn't make sence but i think the villianess plan was an excuse to showcase the romantic tension and ovearlod or romantic takes.

I can't watch the series withouh some wather to pass the taste of "i thinks this is too much"

But this mention has a meaning behind since i need to state this and the huge overload on the romance we get because i believe is a guge thing that affecter how they write the characters on the cartoon show .

They really did bad to Sulfus uh? Like most of the show. You wouldn't qish to have to deal with chapter 1 Sulfus as asigned rival, he seem to be a big deal on the devils group because how remacable chaotic he was but that didn't last long.

The villianess plan was a match making one since he and Raf break a rule that is used to her advantage she would lead them to comith a sacrilege which would really shake that magical code that they should not mess with. It causes huge dissasters and mess btw.

There is s small time gap before the love poison the villianess send on a spider that she encomended her only servant with leaning it to find the pair of eternals she was targeting. On that gap we still retained normal characterization for Sulfus but the episode went down hills on characterization pretty quickly.

It was so uncalled for the way they set the situation of the bit from the spider tho... idk if blame the spider at all because actually the romance would no have a foot at all if the writers didn't bend Sulfus as a character like the extend they did.

There is this huge point they state that their romace was not because of the spider bit that later i think is kind of acknowledge but is quite confusing if they wat to justify some fated love.

Anyways from then on we see how literally did soften Sulfus character to the point he been devil makes me wonder why nobody call him out about it like there is this expectation they stated us the normal was been that troublesome chaotic for devils but they seem to just let it pass from then on. I am still laughing because he actually change so much that rewatch episode one you can just laugh because at that point you know he will became a softie later that is actually bad for him as a charcter since there is little to non struggle on why he is behaving that way or if he wants to undertand this changes at all.

There is near to non thinking on him since idk, it should peraphs feel more comflicting with all stated but he just misses the cue and goes for it on ocaccions?? Is quite weird he is so open to forget the only rules the devils respect. The no involve themselven with angels matters pr the angels themselves unless is about work.

Was is the spider? Who knows they smke it confusing after the trial episode and then the movie came and idk if laugh to the villaness of some fortune teller since wow she was lucky on that scape uh?

They literally make him datable material for the female lead and is a sad thing but well, the cartoon show itself could acomplish as the one with most romace scenes/moments of all time for a cartoon show, not well written but it has them. And maybe the one with an exclusive kissing sequence [no it was not just a few seconds for the kissing scene, there was a freaking sequece of it if i recall well and i recall it as something thar they put budge on it for some reasons since they did a 360° turn around on the sequence even] is impressive comoared to other european cartoons that claimed to have romace on the tags and give you a but here and there while this was like a full bag of the bread but questonable if is one you will like lol

You know the writer forgot many stuff when then Sulfus was the one trying to remind Raf the rules but follow behind her because who care love is a fool or so writers say on those chapter after the half of season 1

If you cringe is undestandable, I cannot rewatch in a full go as I used to when I was younger, i could because i let so many stuff pass.

Sometimes I wonder why even follow this plot idea when the Original comics had a great plot a great characters.

The most consistent Sulfus I know so far is Original Comic Sulfus, that is entretating to read and he does not change much from who he is, he may be a may character and this yime kind of falling in love with the Raf there but well, is not quite the deal since is explained this weird odds of the posibility of anglels and devils with training on 99% not be complete perfect and could end up with a crush or so but all is just momentary and will vanish once they reach 100%. Is onsided crush thing since the live interest for Raf is a human on the Original Comics and that, again, is a prohibited thing, the magic code is not applied between angels and devils but between humans and eternals here.

Back to Original comics Sulfus is quite funny how he figure out he is having a crush, btw they all pre-teen kiddos apearance wise except for the master of the school program while the cartoon show present them as teenager lookalike, and really he does struggle and bit on that whole process of realization. It seems Original comics Sulfus give hint of it but it was subtle changes that yeah it was nice details, maybe is even sad how he just decides to be subtle about it and do nothing big since is not something he would bother much aside there is bigger issues for angels and devils, that characters I like of that characterization is that he will still be who they state him to be but subtle changes mark that realization.

And the rest of the cast is just as cool on ther characterization, you see somtimes little on some of the characters but they don't lose thar cool characterization they had from the start and is so welcome from me as a reader.

A shame they cancelled the good comic because of the cartoon show, really a shame. I will be sad about that till the end of my days because iwanted the resolution of all major a smaller struggles were cool to read.

I have no idea how they funded a movie and a second season of the cartoon show and idk how their live action somewhat based on some fact of the cartoon show went.

But to make thing short here the resume:

Cartoon show mess it up big time with characterization and we lost cool orginial comics thanks tho the cartoon show, that would be all.

You fan cring or be sad about it and I will get it.

Yeah I"m still bit salty about that.

Head In The Clouds

Request by @ infinitew-olf : You👏know👏I'm👏always👏thirsty👏for👏some👏RKs👏 (I hope I'm not spamming you tho) how about RK900 X Reader where she's just an airhead who's completely clueless to his pining after her (he is getting frustrated and possessive 👀)

Pairing: R900, Nines x reader.

Warnings: Pining, badly written fluff I’m sorry.

Nines was rather cold compared to his predecessor, RK800. He lacked the humanity Connor had, even after his deviancy. He wasn’t created to be social or friendly, after all. He is a combat android or was a combat android.

He worked in the D.P.D and served as detective Gavin Reed’s partner. The man was difficult, constantly acting like a toddler and lashing out every other minute. It did nothing but annoy him. Hank was their superior and a man with his fair share of personal issues, but he was a good lieutenant none the less.

Connor, on the other hand was his counterpart. He was full of all kinds of emotions; he was more human than most humans. He wasn’t, a part of Nines felt as if he was stuck being a soulless machine, he didn’t feel human enough. And for the longest time, it hadn’t bothered him, not at all.

Then she came along, she just had to ruin it all.

She was a new member of the D.P.D, a bright young officer. She didn’t mean anything to him first, just a new face around the office, nothing more. That changed when she was assigned to help him and Reed on a case.

She wasn’t the best asset, but he could see she was trying her best despite her inexperience. It didn’t change the fact that she caused unnecessary inconvenience. Gavin was much more outspoken with his criticism, to which she responded with a simple ‘Okay.’

Her company became constant after that, with her occasionally dropping by his desk to say hi. It became an everyday thing after that, and they eventually began having actual small conversations. It was nothing deep or personal, just two D.P.D workers discussing their jobs.

But before he knew it, it had changed into something more for him. It became a routine; he grew used to her soft greeting and short talks. Their conversations gradually transferred to more personal ones.

She would ask him about his day, what he liked and disliked, how the hell he put up with Reed. It was an entertaining conversation.

She told him about herself, shared details of so many things; her home life, her hobbies, her pets. It was quite endearing, seeing her excitedly ramble about those things that shouldn’t matter to him.

He felt something; this strange sense of attachment filled him. He wanted her to talk more, he loathed seeing her go back to work away from him. He felt.

It was new, it was strange, it was scary. He didn’t know how to best deal with the million thoughts that swamped his artificial brain. He continued to stare at his terminal, his thoughts somewhere else entirely.

“Nines?” she called, and he looked up. “I’m gonna go get lunch, you wanna tag along?” he stared for a moment then nodded, getting up and walking by her side.

Nines could feel himself heat up as he gazed at her, his vision focused on her and only her. She was giggling with Connor. His pining had only gotten worse, now deeming it impossible to see her with anyone else. His attraction to her wasn’t logical, he thought, he still did not understand how things ended up like this.

Him, hopelessly smitten by this ordinary woman who was nothing an aloof mess, her not noticing anything and enjoying her time with others. It made his chest ache.

He did not own her; she wasn’t something for him to control or claim. He knew that and fully realized it. Then why did he feel this sudden urge to take her away from this crowd, to make her see what he felt, to make her his?

It wasn’t logical, then again nothing he did was. He approached her unconsciously, “Officer ____” She turned and flashed that same pleasing smile, “Nines, I told you to drop that ‘officer’! we aren’t at work.” She scolded.

“I apologize.” He said, looking the RK800 who looked between them suspiciously. “Oh, that’s Miller and Jess, I’m gonna go say hi.” She said and left the two. Nines gaze lingered on her until she disappeared into the crowd.

“You like her.” It was more of a statement, “I beg your pardon?”

“You like ____.” Connor was grinning, Nines did not think he would be that easy to read. “I do not, that would be unprofessional.”, Connor laughed, “You were watching us talk, you could’ve killed me with that look alone.”

He didn’t respond, only glaring at him through a side glance. “You should talk to her about it.” Nines scoffed, right. “I’m serious, you can’t keep scaring away her potential lovers like that.”

He was right. He was scaring them away with his expression alone, he couldn’t help this burn in his chest whenever someone got too close. He felt terrible, this was wrong, he didn’t have the right to do it.

He didn’t what else to do, he wanted to be the one to hold her close, to laugh with her but something was stopping him from even trying to reach that. He was afraid, afraid she would not feel the same.

She was also rather oblivious to how she affected him.

“Wow, your hand is really warm.” She said as she wrapped her hand around his, not realizing the cause of his heat was her.

“Hey, I brought Connor along, hope you don’t mind.” She said as she brought him to what he thought would be a private reading session.

“There is only one bed left, but it’s big enough for the two of us.” She said, they ended up sharing a room on a stakeout before, she didn’t look bothered by it at all. He opted to stay up all night instead.

God, how could someone be so... unaware?

“Nines, Nines!” She held his hand, Connor smiled and excused himself, leaving them alone. “Listen, I found this amazing spot, come I will show you!” She said and pulled him, leading him through the crowd and into a small door; it was a small balcony.

The view was breathtaking, there was a soft breeze and the music from the inside was now muffled. She stood next to him; his eyes went from the view below to her. She was staring at him, “It’s beautiful, right?”

“Yes, it certainly is.” He muttered. She somehow looked even prettier now. “I’m glad to be sharing this with you.”

“Me too.” It went quiet after that. he tried to keep a straight face.

He felt a little bit of reassurance. “Can I tell you something?” she looked at him in wonder but nodded nonetheless, “I…” He paused, gulping the invisible lump in his throat, “I like you.”

“I like you too.” Was their immediate answer, but their expression hadn’t changed. “No, I like you, ___.” He emphasized the ‘like’, wanting her to understand his confession.

“Aw, I like you too.” They said and patted his shoulder; Nines closed his eyes. “Nines?”

“I love you; I absolutely adore you, with all my heart. Not in a platonic sense.” He knew he would lose it if she somehow did not get it now. “Oh.” Was her low response.

“Oh,” she said, louder this time. The look of surprise on her face made him want to forget this ever happened. “I apologize if I made you uncomfortable, I will go back inside.” He said and he turned to leave but she caught his arm, pulling him toward her.

“Wait, I feel the same!” Her heart was racing, he could hear it. “What?”

“I’m not good at this stuff, shit.” She cursed and paused to collect herself, “This explains the whole glaring at everyone like an angry puppy thing.” she said to herself and rubbed the bridge of her nose. Nines just looked at her fumbling to get her words out.

“I like being around you, Nines, you’re special to me.” she finally said and looked at him, embarrassment was written all over her face. “I won’t mind being more than just friends, I would love to, actually.”

Nines blinked, once, twice, thrice. These were the words this troublesome human made him crave for a while now but now that it was finally real, he didn’t know what to do. So, she moved in, wrapping her arms around him gently and resting her head on his chest.

He wanted to feel this way forever.

Japan Travel Diary 🎌

Okay, here it is, a more or less thorough report of my Japan trip in January (which mostly consisted of doing Kalafina-related stuff so I thought it might be interesting for some of you XD). Sorry, this is like 5 million years overdue. @mello-chi‘s comment about looking forward to my upcoming Japan trip reports actually reminded me that I still had this post in my drafts so I thought I better finish this now before I have to write another one XD

Without further ado, let’s get to it 〈(•ˇ‿ˇ•)-→

January 14 (Sunday) This was my first ever non-direct flight to Japan so I was not looking forward to it. I boarded my plane at around 10 am (Austrian time), I arrived in Paris at around noon and I landed at Narita Airport at around 9 am the next day (January 15 - Monday). Here’s a rare selfie of little me waiting to board the plance wearing my beloved Cakey bomber jacket by Lily Brown (it kept me warm during the flight ^_^). PS: Excuse the excessive use of filters in this pic. I was wearing no make-up.

You know what I find annoying, they have all these Japanese artists like LiSA and Nana Mizuki in the plane music library but absolutely NO Kalafina. Why?? And no, you don’t need to answer that, it was more of a rhetorical question anyways. I know of course that for some weird reason Kalafina aren’t as popular as those other artists….but still, so frustrating… I ended up watching a ton of movies :P I really envy people who can sleep during a flight.

January 15 (Monday) I didn’t do much that day tbh. I was too exhausted from my flight. I am glad they let me check in early at my hotel (which was in Kanda btw – very convenient location for tourists if you ask me) After I had freshened up a little at the hotel I did make a short trip to Akihabara to check if I could find any second hand Kala goods. That day I found a Blue Day wristband, a KNGNN postcard and a cheap Consolation Pamphlet (something I had always wanted but I never felt like paying the full price on CDJapan). Throughout my stay I managed to find quite a lot of stuff actually but more on that later. Here’s a sneak peek tho XD

January 16 (Tuesday) This day was dedicated to shopping. I think I spent almost an entire day in the Shinjuku/Harajuku/Shibuya area. I bought a bunch of Disney stuff and Pikachu merch for my sister and nephew respectively and then I searched through all the Kala-clothing stores trying to find some WaKei outfits. I am super happy because I got my hands on this cute patchwork skirt by Redyazel, the one that Keiko wore quite recently for the Songful Days promo video. I also bought a matching top because they had a special “buy 2 pieces and get 30% off” deal. I can never resist deals like that even though they actually make you spend even more money in the end XD (sadly, they didn’t have the turtleneck sweater that Keiko is wearing here)

After looking through each and every Lily Brown store in Tokyo I finally found this =>The long cardigan Keiko wore in Nikko (it’s so cute and warm!).

Aside from that, I didn’t really find anything else. I came across the Fig&Viper pullover Keiko recently wore but meh, that’s not really my style and it was still quite expensive. I also saw the Mila Owen dress that Wakana wore a while back but it just wasn’t worth the money (and now I regret not buying it T_T).

January 17 (Wednesday) In the morning I went to visit the lesser known Shinagawa Aquarium which – sorry Wakana – was VERY underwhelming and I can totally understand why it’s not as popular as the other one. The only cool thing was the free shuttle bus, it had a cute design. The aquarium itself looked quite run-down and it was much smaller than I expected. But hey, I met Shirowani-san and I got to touch a dolphin which was pretty epic. Of course I had to eat the parfait that Keiko ordered when she was at the aquarium together with Wakana back in the summer time. It was really yummy but it definitely wasn’t the best day to eat it because afterwards, I was freezing my butt off. Oh well, the things I do for Cakey XD

I really wanted to buy the cute shark backpack but it was just way too expensive T_T Forever sad...Now I regret not buying it. Then again, it’s not really my style.

In the afternoon I met up with my friend Pae and I finally received my goods from the Harmony events and the Acoustic Tour. BANZAI! As for the Harmony event merch, I got the black t-shirt, the blue parka and the keyholder. From the Acoustic Live goods, I got the pamphlet, the clearfile and the postcard set. (I love the black t-shirt SO MUCH! I have worn it a lot since I have gotten back)

Together Pae and I went on a quest to find more Kala-goodies and I got lucky once again. I found two old singles, a limited edition of Magia and a regular edition of Hikari no Senritsu (one of these days my singles collection will be complete XD But I have to be patient because I just don’t wanna pay full price for singles >_>). Aside from that I also bought the limited edition of the Seventh Heaven album which includes the live DVD. They also had a BEST Red Day cup for sale at Radio Kaikan (one of the many tokutens from back in the day) but meh, I didn’t feel like getting it. I wonder if any of you bought it? They also had a FOTW and 9+ONE pamphlet and a few other CDs (but I already own all of those so I ignored them). After my meet-up with Pae, I made a trip to Roppongi to eat at my first out of many Kalafina-restaurants/cafés. That’s when it started raining heavily (so annoying) but at least I found the place rather quickly (thanks to google maps!) I went to the very popular Tsurutontan where they serve huge bowls of udon!! I ordered Katsu Curry Udon (my favourite) and some yummy fried dumplings on the side (OMG, they were SO FREAKING GOOD!!)

The food was delicious but it was a little too much for me. XD Curry soup is much more filling than regular soup. And I underestimated the dumplings quite a bit, they were also super filling. I had intended to go to the Manon Mimie store afterwards but I wasn’t feeling like getting drenched in the rain so I headed back to my hotel. I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t end up going because I messaged the store that night and asked them if they still had the Cakey clothes in stock and turns out they don’t *forever sad* I should have tried to find a way to order it back then when the pretty skirt and sweater were still in stock.

January 18 (Thursday) The first half of this day was dedicated to visiting the Imperial Palace. If you arrive early enough you can make a same-day reservation for a tour so that’s what I did. It was an interesting tour for sure and the weather was amazing!!! After the tour was over I decided to walk to Budokan since I was already in the area. I wanted to check out the venue to make sure I wouldn’t get lost on the day of the concert. At that point I was getting quite tired (and super hungry) so it was time for yet another Kala-food-experience. I took the subway to the Akasaka area and paid a visit to the gorgeous café/restaurant/bar La Maison Kioi (the place where the girls had their special SPICE off-day interview). It was so fancy and pretty. I ordered a crazy expensive Afternoon Tea Set but it was totally worth the money, it was incredibly yummy!!! Once I had eaten each and every single piece of food on that tray, I made my way to Shibuya/Harajuku to do some more shopping. This time I came across this gorgeous red skirt that Wakana has been wearing quite frequently. I think I never actually made a post about this skirt o.O A fellow fan on twitter discovered it right before my trip to Japan and when I saw it in the store I obviously couldn’t resist. On my way home I made another stopover in Akihabara and I found the limited edition of the 5th Anniversary Live Selection album. Had to get it of course XD

January 19 (Friday) On Friday I bought my 3-Day-JR-Tokyo-Wide Pass to do some traveling outside of Tokyo. It was another gorgeous sunny day, perfect for touristy stuff ^_^ The first place on my list was Kamakura. There’s lots of nice stuff to see but I mainly wanted to go there because it was the destination of Keiko’s 60 km walk on New Year’s Day back in 2014 (OMG, has it already been four years!!??) One of these days I wanna do that kind of thing as well. I went to see the big buddha of course and I also checked out some of the surrounding shrines and temples. At first I wanted to go to Enoshima as well but then I decided against it, didn’t really feel like going there. Not a fan of beaches anyways. I took the train back to Tokyo but got off in Yokohama (the second place on my list) where I also did some sightseeing. But first I needed to restore my energy so I had some late lunch in Yokohama Chinatown at Jogenro (the restaurant where Wakana ate her shark fin course – she went to the place in Tokyo tho). I really wanted to try the shark fin lunch menu but they wouldn’t let me order it since it is meant for two people T_T Such a shame! The only downside to traveling alone, getting food is troublesome. Then again, if you have company it’s even more of a hassle because it’s hard to find something that everyone likes. Also, tbh, I probably wouldn’t have been a huge fan of the shark stuff anyways so maybe it was for the best. Either way, since I couldn’t have my shark lunch, I decided on one of their regular lunch menus. Wahhh! So tasty!! I love Chinese food! It was too much tho, so many different things to eat, I almost exploded towards the end but I really wanted to finish everything. I hate wasting good food. In dire need to walk off all the calories I had just put into my body, I explored the rest of Yokohama. I walked to Mirai Minato to check out the two Red Brick Warehouses. Back in 2011 and then once again in 2014 Kalafina performed their Christmas Lives at the Red Brick Warehouse. They have mentioned on multiple occasions that this is a very special place for them. Of course I also had to ring the bell of happiness. ^_^ I couldn’t leave Yokohama without riding the Ferris-wheel so I did that in the evening when the sun was setting. I had a great view of the city up there. Later on I managed to take some nice pictures of the colourful and sparkling Ferris-wheel at dusk. And that’s a wrap for my first day-trip outside of Tokyo.

January 20 (Saturday) On Saturday I took the train to Nikkō. One of the main reasons I purchased the JR Wide Pass was because I wanted to take the Shinkansen to Utsunomiya. It’s much more convenient than the other options. And then I got to ride the Nikkō Line which looks really cool. I think you all know why I traveled to Nikkō XD I wanted to see the venue of Kalafina’s World Heritage Special Live. During my last Japan trips I already got the chance to visit Nara and see Kōfuku-ji but I had never been to Nikkō before. And hey, even if Kalafina hadn’t performed there I still would have liked to see Tōshōgū, it’s absolutely gorgeous. And *weeee* I got to witness a traditional wedding. Everyone was all dressed up and the bride looked stunning!! Afterwards I explored the area for a while and walked around a lot. (I walked so much during my Japan trip) I was considering going to see the waterfalls as well but I thought it might not be the best season to experience it in all its beauty and glory. I’ll come back some day soon, I promise! In the afternoon I returned to Tokyo and I once again found myself in the Roppongi area to eat some Kala-food :P Literally the only reason I went to these fancy schmancy areas was to eat at Kalafina restaurants/cafés. This time I ate at “The Counter Roppongi”, the place where Keiko had her YOLO burger meal this winter. I wanted to order the same burger that she had gotten but turns out it had all kinds of weird ingredients (like mushrooms >_>) so I ended up ordering a chicken burger XD I think that might have been the best burger and some of the most delicious fries I have ever eaten. Really impressed! The only thing I could have lived without was the overly sweet brioche bun. It just doesn’t go well with savoury food. I don’t understand why you would use a brioche bun for a burger, doesn’t make sense to me at all o.O Is it a Japanese thing? Or maybe an American thing?

January 21 (Sunday) I took the special Holiday train to Kawaguchiko because I wanted to get a clear view of Mount Fuji. The mountain was still visible while I was on the train but slowly but surely clouds started gathering around it and by the time I had arrived at my destination, Mount Fuji was hidden completely T_T It’s a real shame. The sun was shining and the sky was blue, it was literally perfect weather but each and every cloud in the area had decided to cuddle up to Mount Fuji. I think I made the mistake of taking the later train. I should have taken the train at like 7am or something. Apparently chances of seeing Mount Fuji are highest before 9 am and I think that’s true, I am sure I would have gotten a good view if I had been there earlier. I was there at like 9:30-10:00 and that’s just too late. Oh well, we all learn from our mistakes. In two week’s time I will be closer to Mount Fuji than I have ever been XD I didn’t want my trip to be wasted so I still took the ferry across the lake and of course I took the Kachi Kachi Ropeway which ascends to an observation point near the summit of Mount Tenjo, from where Lake Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji can be seen. Riding that cablecar was rather unpleasant because it was jam-packed. I wasn’t aware you could even squeeze that many people into a cablecar. I got some nice views despite there being no sign of Mount Fuji. Afterwards I bought a bunch of souvenirs for my coworkers and took the train back home again. I really love all the train designs! So cute! Since I still had my JR Pass I thought I’d use it for a few trips along the Yamanote Line. I was trying to avoid using my Suica as much as possible as long as I had the JR Pass XD One of my stops was Ikebukuro. I am not a huge fan of the area but I still wanted to see if I could find anything interesting. Bought some more Pikachu merch for my nephew at the Pokemon Center and then I did some window shopping. A girl-group was performing at Sunshine City while I was there but I didn’t stay long enough to figure out who they were. People were going crazy about them tho so I guess they might have been popular. Who knows. Either way, with all these people occupied the shops were pretty empty so that’s definitely a good thing (especially on a Sunday where it’s usually busy as hell). For dinner I had yummy Coco Curry (for once not Kalafina related :P).

January 22 (Monday) a.k.a. Crazy Snow Day This was the day of our tumblr fan meetup. Probably the worst day we could have chosen but hey, what can you do? And it’s not like any of us could have known that it would snow so heavily. It’s almost funny because I am always in Tokyo when crazy snow storms happen. I was there in 2014 as well. XD Thank God I am more or less used to snow (which is something that can’t be said about most of my fellow-fans that were at the meetup). I took things slowly that day since I was already stressing out about the meetup. I went to Akihabara again and this time I found a FOTW wristband in one of the second hand stores. BANZAI. Back in 2016 when I went to see the FOTW Special Finals I actually forgot to buy a wristband. This has annoyed me for the longest time but I didn’t feel like buying it online so yeah, this was definitely a lucky find. Yippie!! Then I went to Don Quijote to buy some more souvenirs (mostly chocolates). I’ll be eating all this stuff foe the next few weeks. :P So far my favourite purchase is Hokkaido Melon Kit Kat. The BEST Kit Kat I have ever had! It’s so DAMN amazing, I regret not buying more T_T When I got back to my hotel I had to figure out a way to squeeze all the chocolates into my luggage without everything getting crumbled on the flight back home. I think I managed pretty well. I had some sandwiches for late lunch and then I headed to Shinjuku to do some more (window) shopping and to wait for everyone to arrive at the Karaoke place. Sorry again @okeuphemia, we totally kept missing each other at Lumine Est. And sorry to everyone else who had a hard time finding Karaoke Kan. I know it must have been quite the hassle for some of you, especially in this horrible weather. But thankfully, almost everyone managed to get there (eventually). My apologies to Jimmy who didn’t make it! Maybe next time (if there ever is a next time :P) I hope you all had a good time at the meetup. There were way more people than I originally expected and we had some hardcore karaoke singers amongst us (you all rocked btw!!) so we weren’t really able to talk properly but I think it was still nice for most of you. Sorry if I seemed a bit awkward, I am just not very comfortable being among such a big crowd of people. I am glad a few of us decided to leave early and grab a cup of coffee, it gave me the chance to get to know some of you a little bit better. It’s really nice to finally know who is hiding behind those tumblr nicknames (shout out to @audiojapanstyle for just being a super nice and comforting presence!) And hey, such a funny coincidende, that day I found out that @theraspberrybushes and I stayed at the same hotel. We ended up going back together in the heavy snow.Sorry for always rushing ahead. >_<

January 23 I pretty much covered the entire day in my live report but I haven’t talked about my after live activities yet so I guess I will do it here. Originally I had just planned to go back to the hotel to get some sleep. After all I was supposed to fly back home the next morning so I wanted to get some much needed rest. However, my friend Pae convinced me to go have dinner with a few Japanese Kala-fans. I am glad she did because it was actually very nice. But once again, there were way more people than expected (slightly overwhelming – even Hachimaki was there; it felt like I had been invited to an elite Kalafina fan meet-up XD). We went to a Chinese restaurant and had some yummy gyoza. Literally the entire place was filled with Kala-fans XD We didn’t stay there for long so thankfully I didn’t get home too late. Right before we left I managed to REALLY embarrass myself when one of the Japanese Kala-fans approached me. I wasn’t aware he wanted to talk to me, I thought he was trying to get past me or something so when he started talking I turned away from him. Pae had to literally drag me back to him and then I realised he had wanted to start a conversation. Major fail. That’s why I keep telling people that I suck at social interactions. Oh well, we ended up talking about Vienna, seems like he travels there quite frequently for work. Having dinner with all these fellow Kala-fans was a really nice end to an already amazing day. I even have a couple of pictures to remind me of that little meet-up.

Okay, this is officially the end of my travel report. Congratulations to everyone who read the whole thing. I hope it wasn’t too boring. I have lots of Kalafina activities planned for my next trip so I am super hyped ヾ（〃＾∇＾）ﾉ♪
