Taking Care Of You While Sick - Obey Me!

Includes: Lucifer, Mammon, Levi, Satan, Asmo, Beel & Belphie

Genre: hurt/comfort + fluff!

Summary: you get sick, and your favorite demon knows (or tries his best) just how to take care of you

CW: sick! Reader, fever, lots of medicine, satan being Satan, wholesome Beel

wow i wonder what could have possibly inspired me to write this one….weird. anyway I am still sick but thats okay cause i got to sleep 20 hours one day and watch all the marvel movies so pog. anyway enjoy <3

Lucifer

doesn’t know much about human illnesses but knows when you’re getting sick

makes you get lots of bed rest

will have medicine and fresh water for you around the clock

offers to do his paperwork in your room to keep you company

you don’t really notice either way cause you’re asleep mostly

he does anyway tho cause he’s worried and wants to keep an eye on you

corrects your temperature in your sleep too

shivering? adds another blanket

sweating? pulls the covers back and puts a cold cloth on your forehead

“luc did you…swaddle me?”

“you were cold”

even after you get better he’s extra adamant about you taking vitamins

Mammon

thinks you’re dying at first

notices you’re much warmer than usual and actually thinks you’re going to light on fire

panics and thinks lucifer is gonna kill him

you have to explain that you’re not actually dying but that you’re sick

probably has no idea what to do to help you

just does what he likes when he’s sick

brings you lots of fluids (especially juice)

and soup

expect lots of soup/ramen

is with you 24/7

“you’re MY responsibility so I gotta keep an eye on you”

probably forgets to take care of himself in the process

so you make him drink your water/eat your soup/sleep

definitely sleeps with you with the excuse of ‘watching out for you’

Levi

its just like in that anime he watched

except he really hopes you’re not dying like the MC in the anime was

just does exactly what they did in the anime (but with a lot more blushing and stuttering)

probably thinks you’d rather lucifer or mammon take care of you

you try to comfort him but you’re so tired that it just comes out as a bunch of mumbles

definitely has to give himself a peptalk (or five)

“y/n is really sick rn, this isn’t about you, ok?”

will feed you medicine if you’re not strong enough to do it yourself

you’re surprised at how well he’s handling things

“ok y/n im gonna head back to my room but if you need anything tonight just text me ok?”

“levi can you stay with me”

thinks he’s misheard you at first

malfunctions for a really long time

you’re already falling asleep by the time he decides to climb in bed with you

Satan

has been waiting for this moment since you arrived

literally read so many books about human illness and immune systems

figured it was only a matter of time until you got sick

is ready with juice and water and medicine

literally has everything you could possibly need

checks your temperature VERY delicately

“fuck y/n you’re burning up”

gets you a cold cloth for your forehead

even tho he knows everything he still is really nervous

checks on you like every five minutes (if he even leaves your room)

would make himself a bed on your floor so that if you need him in the night he’s there

somehow you convince him to come lay with you

even tho you’re a million degrees

he’ll stay with you all night just to make sure you’re okay

would definitely try and hunt down whoever infected you

Asmo

can tell you’re sick just by how clammy and washed out you look

but he won’t say anything

probably makes you one of his ultra healthy super food smoothies

even if it tastes gross he makes sure you drink it

would probably spoon feed you food too

insists you get lots of rest

and when you can’t sleep he’s there to keep you company

keeps up with your hygiene too

will brush your hair/tie it up so that it doesn’t get tangled while you sleep

gets a cloth to wipe down your face and applies lotion and chapstick

probably wouldn’t sleep with you cause he doesn’t want to get sick (even tho demons don’t share the same sicknesses with humans)

but will stay in a phone call with you from his room all night and if you need anything he’s there in a heartbeat

more medicine?

he’s there

but he’s so tired don’t expect him to return to his room after

Beel

doesn’t know whats going on at first but makes an educated guess

asks what you need instead of assuming

makes you lots of snacks + drinks

i feel like he would hide your medicine in food like they do for dogs??

idk it seems up his alley

also helps you with any tasks you may possibly need with

homework? he’s on it (just don’t tell Lucifer)

need to wash your hair but you’re too weak? all you gotta do is lean your head over the bathtub

he’ll take really good care of you

would probably baby you a little tho

like cut up your food into really small portions

and give you juice out of a sippy cup

“i-uhh—“

definitely watches movies with you until you fall asleep and stays to make sure you don’t need anything

Belphie

probably knew you were sick before anyone else

tries to ignore it cause he totally doesn’t care

but your skin is hot!!

and you’re sweating a lot

and your voice sounds…different?

eventually he has to give in and admit he’s worried about you

and since no one else is around he takes care of you

brings you water and medicine and offers to let you sleep in his bed

“just so I can wash your sheets! you’ll feel so much better in clean ones…”

even lets you sleep on his pillow

probably watches you sleep to make sure you’re still alive

but can’t help and admire how peaceful you look

pushes you to drink fluids and sleep LOTS

and if you refuse to sleep?

well he’ll just have to make you sleep

2023 Fall Anime

This is honestly a loaded season full of new shows based on relatively new manga. Lots to look forward to

Spy x Family - Season 2 One of the most fun SJ series that have come out in a while. Season 1 was killer, high hopes for season 2.

Goblin Slayer 2 I didn't realize they were even making a second season. This was such a killer series. I'm really hoping they don't fall into the many mid-tier fantasy tropes out there in anime right now. I thought the appeal of the show was really Goblin Slayer himself and less about the lackeys along the way. So we'll see how it goes.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End This is definitely one of my highly anticipated series. It's about an elf who was part of the Hero's party and her life after he dies. (Since elves live longer) Definitely a darker take on fantasy but has some really solid fantasy and adventure vibes.

Rising of the Shield Hero - Season 3 Season 2 was pretty disappointing and slow. While this looks like it'll be more fast paced, it does look like a tournament arc of sorts. I know some aren't a fan of that kind of arc, but honestly I think it's exactly what this series needs to pick things up again. We'll see.

The Faraway Paladin - Season 2 This was legitimately one of my favourite fantasy series. I thought it was really well written and didn't rush things like other series. I'm looking forward to this season.

Sequels/Continuations: Eminence in Shadow - Season 2 killer series with an anti-hero main character. Definitely worth checking out. After-School Hanako-Kun Hanako-kun spin off Dr. Stone Season 3 - Part 2 One of the best novel concept series with nothing else in it's genre to compare to. Definitely didn't drop the ball on the recent seasons and still worth watching. Dead Mount Death Play - Part 2 One that I didn't particularly enjoy, but has a decent sized manga following. Tokyo Revengers - Tenjiku Arc The continuation of the series. Might be just me but it feels like the series fell off after the first season. The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent - Season 2 A more mature take on fantasy isekai that just started to get into romance at the end of last season. A solid combo of shoujo genres. The Ancient Magus' Bride - Season 2 Part 2 One that I haven't had a change to check out yet but have only heard good things about. Hypnosismic - Season 2 a weirdly addictive musical/rap series. Unique characters and honestly solid rap battles. One I'll be enjoying. -- Related - Paradox Live - Music battle with what looks to be the same style of animation and solid character design. Definitely worth looking at if you're a fan of Hypmic. The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse A sequel of SDS. Looks like it could be a fun watch for the fans of the series. New:

Shangri La Frontier A new manga fantasy series. This may be a horrible way to describe but it is what it is - a new age SAO- full dive fantasy game. A gamer who only plays shit games, gets into a new massively popular MMORPG and is op. One that I'm excited for because it ticks all the fantasy game boxes I like.

Undead Unluck A relatively new manga series that gained a lot of traction in the last year or two. A gory action comedy that's super chaotic and a lot of fun.

Shy Brand new hero manga series about a shy girl and her anxieties and struggles going into the hero world who grows and gains confidence as she becomes a better hero.

Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions This is a manga series that I have kept forgetting the name of so never got a chance to read but all the covers for the manga look phenomenal. Likely the anime doesn't do him justice but it is what it is. Essentially sherlock in anime form. A PI with issues and the wholesome police detective work together to solve crime. Other New Series: Green - Fantasy Pink - Romance Red - Action Purple - Drama The Kingdoms of Ruins A world where witches were hunted down by humans as science surpassed magic. A kid who was raised by a witch swears revenge on mankind. This honestly looks solid. The animations are very cool looking and the mc seems to be an anti-hero. Will be looking at this one. Under Ninja A well known manga series about modern ninjas. Definitely a unique series for this season. The Apothecary Diaries A historical medical mystery show. I've heard the name before and I've also only heard good things. Will be worth a watch. A Girl & Her Guard Dog The granddaughter of a crime syndicate goes to highschool out of town and the current young boss lies his way into the same school. Would be cute romance if it weren't for the fact she's 15 and he's 26.. Butareba - The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig What the title says. A girl finds him and the story goes from there. I'm Giving the Disgraced Noble Lady I Rescued a Crash Course in Naughtiness The usual light novel title. Honestly, doesn't seem as yikes as I initially thought, might just be harmless breaking the rules kinda thing. Could be fun, also a Capybara that strikes fear into people's hearts. My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer Looks like a wholesome series where an adventurer finds a baby, raises it and she becomes so strong she's busy working all the time. Just a cute father daughter relationship in a fantasy setting about her wanting to come take time to see him but being caught up in OP fantasy battles. Ragna Crimson Dragons vs Humanity - a human and a dragon team up to destroy all the dragons. Action fantasy series. Berserk of Gluttony I honestly added this because I thought it was hilarious. Looks like a combo of knock offs - the Gluttony skill from Tensura (reincarnated as a slime) and the mc being called Fate with the main girl who looks exactly like Sabre. I'll be skipping but its' here so you know.

Jotting down my thoughts/favorite moments for Gobb 6 as I watch Th3Badd3st's stream vod

how long can Flynn sleep for and has he always been this lazy??

One thing I will say, the music is so much better

I think Toadster had some abandonment issues he needs to work out

"I was found the by the Queen and Bittergiggle and a few others" Interesting...

Apparently there's a weird void pig thing now??

Is toadster legitmately just a gas-lighter now or was he just holding out on the fact that HE imprisoned Banbaleena so that she'd be on their side, Also "Incredibly clever, Good at what he does, and he's very handsome." Toadster, honey, You're ego is showing

BANBALEENA IS MRS MASON???

I saw this whole chair puzzle part when I tried watching it live and I just wanna say I love Ty's performance as Bittergiggle and how he just watches us do the puzzle while having no knowledge of what's going on just like us

I actually really like the Dadaroo voicea nd the fact you can hear the kids calling out "DADA!" at some points

Why is Flynn even smaller now?!

"How do you even talk?! Jellyfish have no brain!" I love this line, I like Flynn but I'm sick of hearing him whine

Did the seriously tease the torn in half Bittergiggle clone just for an anitclimatic agurment??

This did open up a rabbit hole of questions though. So the bittergiggles ARE made up of two halves like we orginally thought and they can talk as two as seen with that Bittergiggle...then why do 3 of the bittergiggles only talk as one? Is one half talking and they other staying silent for some reason?? can they only talk as two if they're split apart?

Bitterggigle coming in clutch to save us and that scream of pain was PERFECT!

am I the one that thinks the delivery on "Hold up, let's stay together.." was adorable. I know he's supposed to be dizzy but they way he says it sounds like he's talking to a small child (in an affectionate way) and it just sounds so cozy

although the minigame with the lights is a lot to pay attention to, it's kinda creative

The naughty one's laughed at Bittergiggles joke that's so wholesome-

so the pipes drained Flynn of his Givanium...ok that makes sense?

I feel like these "flashbacks" of Flynn's are just hims dissociating and trying to dream of a normal day out with his friends but it keeps turning into a nightmare

i kinda enjoy the little emotion in Banban's "THE CAPTAIN GOT KIDNAPPED!" and "NABNAB!" it's so satisfying to hear fsr-

also did Nabnab try to chase after the bus and they got hit??

......and then we get obliterated by a bus....

The lollipop collecting was another part I saw while trying to watch it live but the lil guys are so cute, I'll just call them "Mini zolphius twins" until we learn their names

Mr kabob man saying "bird up" sounded so funny-

I....Almost got legitmately upset thinking we killed little beak...but thank god they're ok!

HOW MANY FREAKING CLONES DID BITTERGIGGLE MAKE!? There were 4 perfectly good clones that i *thought* where shown in the release trailer why not use them??

Bittergiggle just went down the sewerslide cause they appreciated his jokes-

I had really hoped this chapter would be the jumpstart I needed for my rewrite but I'm just more confused...

Hi! Mai and I were just talking and we got an idea. What if the warlords and their pets position are reversed? What if they turn into animals and the pets turn into human for one day? 😂

Warlords trade bodies with their pets for a day.

Oda forces.

Nobunaga Oda.

To trade places with a hawk… now this was one interesting experience. Nobunaga felt smaller than usually, only to realize he was in the body of his pet hawk, Haguro. Nobunaga will love the freedom he has, flying as high as he can.

The problem will be the hawk. Everyone will be staring at their lord, watching him as he receives orders from his hawk, they will also think it’s weird that he is so silent.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

Hideyoshi will be shocked, though he will be more worried about not even able to help around the castle for a whole day. This is the opportunity for Hideyoshi to take a day off and jus enjoy being spoiled… yet he will insist on trying to help. Others will find adorable that Ume is trying to act like him, not realizing that the little monkey is Hideyoshi.

Ume will enjoy being in hideyoshi’s body, she will want to use it to be as free as she can, going anywhere she wants.

Ieyasu Tokugawa.

Ieyasu will be very moody, wondering why everything around him is so tall. And why is it that he can’t stand in two legs? When he notices that he is in Wasabi’s body, Ieyasu will freak out, he looks so small and vulnerable… what a pain. In a deer’s body, he will look very grumpy.

Wasabi will be very scared around others, making Ieyasu seem fragile and a scaredy-cat around others. That will annoy Ieyasu even more, he will try to keep wasabi away from others while they have their bodies switched.

Masamune Date.

Oh Masamune will love this! He is suddenly so adorable and cute, and now he can see with two eyes. Just imagine a tiger cub standing proudly with his chest puffed, thinking of himself as a big predator and that all should fear him. Just for fun, he will run wildly around the castle.

Shogetsu will act the same way, excited that he is big now. Some people will think that Masamune has gone crazier than he already is, since now he keeps chasing others.

Mitsuhide Akechi.

Mitsuhide will look at himself very carefully while being in Chimaki’s body, surprised that he is in his pet fox’s body. Though this is a perfect opportunity to mess with everyone without being noticed.

Chimaki will act kind of like Mitsuhide, so people won’t notice much difference, except that Mitsuhide is acting very strangely, almost like he really is a fox.

Mitsunari Ishida.

This will be adorable on both ends. Mitsunari will find it fascinating that he is in Neko-chan’s body, his sweetness will make everyone who walks by him want to pet him. Mitsunari will receive lots of treats and pats for acting cute as a cat.

Neko-chan will act as usual, all soft and sweet. People will mostly think that Mitsunari is being a bit more affectionate than usual.

Ranmaru Mori.

Being in a stoat’s body was incredible for Ranmaru, one because he was small and cute, which meant he could climb trees easily and hide wherever he wants. He will hide most of the time, given that he was too small in this body.

Shippo, the little stoat that was now in Ranmaru’s body, has been trying to understand why is it that everything is so small now.

Keiji.

Keiji would be in his pet pig’s body, which will be cool but also inconvenient. What if someone tries to hunt him while he is in this body? Even if his pet is protected, who knows who might try to capture him to cook him.

Jisei, his pet pig in Keiji’s body will feel a lot more powerful now that he is in a buff body. Though he will still run away if someone threatens him thinking it was the real Keiji.

Uesugi-Takeda.

Kenshin Uesugi.

This… is complicated, Kenshin has tons of bunnies who reproduce quite frequently, giving him an army of bunnies. The three main bunnies would be Ume, Take and Matsu, it would be more interesting and fun if kenshin ended up switching bodies with Ume. Between the three main bunnies, Ume is supposed to be the most innocent, gentle and loving bunny.

Which means that while Kenshin will make Ume appear weirdly aggressive, Ume in Kenshin’s body will make him seem like a sweetheart all of a sudden.

Shingen Takeda.

Another fun switch, shingen will end up waking up in a bear cub’s body. He will be small and cute.. well, time to use this to his advantage. Since he can’t flirt, he will roll around and make cute faces to make all the ladies pamper him, calling him cute. He will even do it to win some free sweets.

Koro will feel amazing, loving to be in a strong and big body. He will feel powerful, since the bear cub has always wanted to be just like shingen.

Yukimura Sanada.

Yukimura will freak out, trying to call for help but only woofs would come out, which would freak him out more. After calming down, Yukimura will try to see how is it like to be in a wolf’s body, which he will love a lot. Being able to run freely with that much freedom will be very cool.

For Muramasa, he will think it’s surprising to be in Yukimura’s body, who he considers his superior. He will still follow after Yukimura while he is in his wolf’s body.

Yoshimoto Imagawa.

This will be fabulous, to be able to be in a peacock’s body makes Yoshimoto feel like he is in a dream. He will be constantly opening the fan of feathers behind his back to watch his beautiful feathers. There won’t be a danger of any females mistaking him for trying to seduce him since Oboro is the only peacock around the castle.

Oboro will think it’s weird to not have his beautiful tail, but will constantly use Yoshimoto’s fan as a replacement for it.

Sasuke.

This will be the mos amazing experience Sasuke will have. When he saw he was in his pet squirrel’s body, he had many ideas running wild on his mind. He could finally be what he has always dreamed of… being a ninja squirrel. It will be quite the experience, since he will be smaller and easier to hide himself.

For Kunai, he will still act the same way as he did before switching bodies, and since Kunai and Sasuke are a bit similar, no one will suspect a thing.

Kanetsugu.

To be in a possum’s body… how troublesome. Now, how will Kanetsugu protect his dear lord kenshin?! Being in this small and soft body that can’t even lift a sword? You can just imagine a small possum trying to drag a sword around while obediently following Kenshin. It will be weird for everyone.

Raizou, who is in Kanetsugu’s body will act strangely. While Kanetsugu’s is usually serious, now he will act around others in different ways.

Lone forces.

Motonari Mouri.

It won’t be too troublesome to wake up in a kangaroo’s body, Motonari will actually like how he can hop around, and because kangaroo’s are known for being fighters. You can imagine him flexing his muscles, even though he is in a not so tall body.

Kaijsuke, while in Motonari’s body, won’t act like Motonari at all, which will raise a bit of suspicion around the others.

Kichou.

Kichou will be in a bad disadvantage, since he will wake up in a bird’s body. He will look so small and fragile… with only the ability to fly and sing. The world is unfair, how could he defend himself like this?!

Fuku on the other hand will have a difficult time getting used to Kichou’s body, it felt so weird to not be able to fly.

Kennyo.

Kennyo will end up in a weasel’s body, he will take the opportunity to interact with other animals more closely, it will be an experience that he will consider sacred, being so close to nature like this.

Hozuki is a big aggressive towards other people who aren’t Kennyo, so naturally she will act weirdly in Kennyo’s body, hissing all of a sudden at others. It will seem very different from Kennyo who is usually calm and gentle.

"Ahh? How can you call a simple dinner as something that can spoil you, dear?" - she giggled, with her cheerful smile.

"Well, but you already have enough tasks in your job.. You should think about your own well-being in the first place, not shoulder the responsibility to feed me..!" - you furrow your brows, trying to actually look angry, but it's kinda hard when you see this cute loving face and caring gaze of your darling.

"For me it's just another way to tell you how I appreciate you.." - Nemu sits next to you and caresses your hand with which you hold the spoon. - "Here.."

With these words she takes your hand and forces the spoon in her mouth to eat a piece of meat.

"See? If I eat it together with you, you will not be so angry, hm?~"

-If you love some exotic food, bring it on! Nemu loves to learn new things and try them, and even if it's not something that unusual but just some meal she never cooked before, she would work hard to prepare it for you.

-Oh, and if you don't really know how to cook she would absolutely love to teach you a little. She is a soft and gentle teacher, yet she wouldn't tolerate too much mess in the kitchen.

-Like;; Nemu does love to fool around with you, but not that much during cooking, as I think she values any products very much and doesn't want to spoil any food.

-But at another time ? Sure. Really good in tickle fights and love to make you giggle.

"Hehe, do you really think you can escape me?" - A playful voice comes after you when you jump into the bedroom from the living room, running away from your girlfriend.

"Aah, Nemu, stop! It's more like tickle hunting than tickle fighting..!" - you can't help but giggle, actually enjoying this childish goofy side of her.

But she quickly chased you and caught up, pushing you into the bed. Even when Nemu acted like that, all bratty, her mischievous smirk was too adorable. Her bright sweet face looked even cuter with such naughty expressions.

As for more about them well basically they’re the puppeteer/ringleader of the multiverse having basically the powers of a god (and being considered one by many universe’s religions) they aren’t really good or evil and like the jester is known as is a bit of a wild card, their actions are almost always motivated by either curiosity or boredom. They like to go around and mess with timelines, kill that person, make sure that person doesn’t succeed in what they’re trying to do, just to see how much they can push the story and it’s characters. Awww, I am super glad you could appreciate the lighthearted moment thrown in there. It can definitely be difficult to balance a chapter with humor and emotion, but every once in a while I try to throw in little stuff- not always for the story itself (although I try to make it relevant somehow)- but for the readers. Like before I used to do shorter chapters if it was a heavy subject. You might have seen it with Chapter 55: Perspective. That one I cut short because boy was that chapter depressing. But now I have so much plot I can't really do that lol

But yes! lex luthor's ascent now has a chapter estimate! I am trying to be as firm as possible on 150 chapters, because that is still a lot of chapters to get to. That's over a third of the story left to get to, so I am trying to be a good bean and not go over it.

HOWEVER! I can say that I intend to leave it open for the possibility of a sequel? I probably wouldn't work on said sequel right away, but I thought this would be better than a firm ending when the scope of this story is so big. Even if I never actually got to write the sequel, I'll know that many other people could dream up whatever comes next and continue to enjoy the world that I've tried to build with the story.

uuugh sorry for 3 month hiatus lmao (enjoy this lil drawing i made :D)

Ok RL update time: was busy with figuring out my finaid situation for college, then getting scammed by a dude and having to create a whole new bank account :( which ultimately just sucked the money from my wallet the motivation to draw out of me and then when i was pulling myself together, i was suddenly busy celebrating my friends being back home from their college (wooo!) and then my roommates and i were apartment hunting for college. We managed to find a decently cheap apartment (well as cheap as it can be for a city on the outskirts of LA lmao) and we finally got approved and accepted and signed the lease! Most of my college stuff is getting figured out and ive been getting more motivated to art and now i luckily have more free time on my hands too!

Ive been having more personal time now, so hopefully i can draw more fandom fanart (lately ive mostly been doing OC stuff but honestly idk if i want to include my OCs here or just keep it fandom only) I do have some bad news, my Summertime Comic will continue to be put on hiatus just cause i need to do more research :') Looking over my outline, i was very ambitious with the story and topics i wanted to juggle. I do want to make it relatively accurate well as accurate as it can be for a made up town inspired by 1970s Germany can be So i dont want to continue the story right now with my half assed research and possibly offend/possibly hurt anyone with my ignorance on these sensitive/political topics and worldbuilding. That being said, I understand hiatuses kinda suck so i might just create an alternate ending that strays away from these deeper topics and try to keep the plot strictly "Forger family reconciliation" just for the sake of having closure to the story, and then when i have more time to do ample research, I'll draw out the "true ending" of what i wanted to happen. Or I might even just take parts and pieces of the original plot and simplify it to make it more easy for me to draw and so it'll have the remnants of my OG vision of the story. I'm still undecided but i really really do like the story and i dont want to entirely abandon it :)

I think mentioned it in my last comic post that i already had the draft done of the next part and that is true, so now that i have more time ill clean up the linework on that part and post it at some point (hopefully by this month) ((let me give you a lil sneak peak. also ik it looks angsty but i swear its a sweet wholesome part with family feels <3))

Anyways TDLR: im back and i got most of my rl stuff figured out and i want to use the rest of my summer break to draw fun comfort fanart things that ik i wont have as much time for when i attend college. Brennus’ personal thoughts on the FNAF Movie

For those going into the movie for the first time: don't expect it to all be super serious

⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️

Overall, I think it's a fun movie. It's what I expected from a 15+ fnaf movie. Did I wish it could have been more brutal? Yeah, but I'm ok with the product as it currently stands.

Visually wise this movie is incredible from the animatronics themselves to the set. Absolutely great. Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, my beloved, you have brought the robots to life perfectly <3

My smallest visual gripe was for one of the kid jump scares in Mike’s dream where the kid’s eyes turn and cry black. You could tell it was like a face paint. It's a real child actor so maybe they couldn't get them to wear ‘better’ makeup but then again special effects could have been used the improve it, idk. I'm not a filmmaker I'm just a silly skeleton that draws.

One of the least believable kills was the one where Freddy bit a woman in two. That was really cartoony to me, I did giggle.

My biggest criticism of the movie is probably the story. But the more I think about possible “improvements” I think to myself… what else could they have done for a script for a fnaf movie? They need to balance a combo of digestible info to new viewers but also satisfy fans. I personally think they managed to cater more to the fans as seen with rotten tomato ratings. But I did watch this with my mother who only knows the story based on what my brother rambles about and she managed the understand the movie alright. However I don't know any opinion on the film from an individual who knows nothing of the franchise.

I personally really enjoyed the atmosphere in the first part of the movie. It was depressing and oppressive to watch Mike struggle through life. But that seems to change as the movie seems to shifts in tone when we discover the animatronics are nice to his sister Abby. I at first really didn't like this but seconds later I got swooped up by the wholesomeness. I was scared that doing this would remove the intimidation factor the animatronic built up during the run time. It did. But I think I understand the purpose of doing this. I still don't think it was a good idea but I think I know what the movie makers were trying to do.

They were trying to shift the villainy focus from the robots to Afton. Trying to say “Hey look they are on the good guy's side” even though they shift on a dime when they decide to kidnap Abby. We also see them brutally hunt down a group of thieves so the whole “look how cute they are being <3” is somewhat unbelievable. I see what they likely tried to do but I don't think it worked super wonderfully.

I like the foxy arcade machine reference. I don't remember if this is a scene in a Fazbear Frights or the Silver Eyes book. But in a book foxy in hunting an AFAB character through an arcade area, in the book he breaks the machines as he gets closer to his victim to build tension. I think that's what that scene with Foxy and Abby in the arcade was in reference to. Though he didn't break the arcade machines in the movie, I thought that added a lot to the original scene. However it's understandable because the robots in this depiction seem to like to keep the pizzeria intact.

Also I saw that theif who got killed by Chica was wearing a midnight motorist shirt, I see you.

Everyone expected the William Afton reveal. What I didn't expect was for VANNESSA to be AFTON’S DAUGHTER. It felt like a very less serious “I am your father” moment, except it's a “he is my father” moment. I did giggle when the reveal happened. For me, this was a signifier that the movie wasn't trying to be serious. The movie is trying to be fun.

Though with that twist it made me wonder what it was like for Vannessa to live with a father like Afton. That's when I wished they did more with her, that's when she got interesting to me. As the movie makes it seem Afton holds a lot of emotional power over her. She knows he is a killer, she is a cop, yet she doesn't report him or arrest him herself. Her standing up to Afton at the end really feels like an abuse victim standing up against their abuser and I kinda wish they made that so much more impactful.

Finally, dynamis/pluto thoughts for the ship game?

Ahhhh yes AHEM. This one is such a big one. My answer is

I Don’t Ship It

Why don’t you ship it?

I am fully on board with the Pluto and Johannes train with how many headcanons I have made where the two of them parallel one another. I also have parallels with Pluto and Dynamis, but in my head, they are more so rivals. In the situations where they do become friends, they stay friends and don't go further. The big thing for why I don't ship them is because I simply headcanon Dynamis as aroace. Another big thing for why I don't ship them is because at least in my hc, they treat eachother like brothers or always fighting cousins. It's a bit weird for me to ship them considering all the headcanons already present within my lore.

HOWEVER, I do sometimes mentally explore the possibilities of Pluto and Dynamis. I have seen some really cool/great Dynamis X Pluto ship content in the Japanese/Korean fandom that makes me think about them every now and then. Also, the Japanese fics of those two are sooooo cute I love reading them. The fics are so wholesome and the fics can also be read as platonic which makes me happy.

While Solar Swap AU Dynamis is aroace and Pluto is somewhat closer to Johannes, I do think about alternate possibilities where Dynamis and Pluto have more of a platonic relationship. The two of them have a lot of potential within Solar Swap because while they still have a rivalry, they also acknowledge and respect one another unlike the regular headcanons I have.

I think for me, whether or not I can ship Dynamis or Pluto depends on what exactly shipping means. If platonic shipping is a thing that counts and they don't have to pursue romance, then sure. If shipping goes by the typical google searched definition, then no. I don't really see myself seeing Dynamis or Pluto in a romantic relationship.

2. What would have made you like it?

Maybe if I wasn't so on board with the already existing Pluto or Johannes ship, then I probably could have considered the ship.

However, and I am some what sort of exposing myself for this and hope people don't get offended by this, I really did not like old fandom Dynamis.

A lot of people who enjoyed Dynamis back in the day REALLY( and I mean REALLY) hated Pluto for what he did in Fury. I don't know how many people who hate Pluto for that reason are still around now, but I don't think I could comfortably ship those two without thinking about those Dynamis fans lurking in the corner. At least Pluto and Johannes make some sense in old fandom standard. I never uploaded back in 2013-2015 but I know if I did then, I probably would have been hunted down for liking the silly descendant of Hades. Maybe if those fans weren't so rabid in my eyes, I would feel a bit more comfortable with this ship.

3. Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

As mentioned earlier, the two of them have a lot of potential. Maybe just as much as Pluto and Johannes. I may not think about them romantically, but I do enjoy working on their potential family dynamic. Platonic relationship for those two are also good as well, just not romantic for me.

Book review: ACOTAR saga by Sarah J. Maas

Well, this saga kept stalking me all over the internet. Everywhere, there was always someone recommending or talking about the books in such a way that I couldn't escape the spoilers. Still, I decided to give it a chance.

Some day, if you're looking for a hot and spicy romance with an interesting world, this saga is a good starting point. Since I read a lot of fantasy, I occasionally enjoy a good romance with a lot of tension that builds throughout the books, and I must say I wasn't disappointed with what I read.

To give you an idea, this book is about a world where Faeries and humans live separated by a wall. And one afternoon, Feyre, hunting food for her family, kills a creature she shouldn't have. As a result she is forced to go into Faeries territory and live with them. And little does she know that her life will take a 180° turn. Feyre fights for her love, for her family and friends, for her world and is broken in many ways because of that fight. But we also witness her recovery/healing. So we have a badass character whose personality and, in a way, her essence, grows and develops throughout the books, despite all the traumas that affect her.

Now… my reactions were:

(ACOTAR) I knew what I was going for and wasn't disappointed. *wink wink* I really liked Feyre and her badass personality. The world that Sarah created in this book is also interesting. Even though I read some spoilers, I'm still excited to know how it's going to happen.

(ACOMAF) OMGGGGG this was intense. Can I pretend that I don't know the story already and reread????? Just woaw! I have no words!

(ACOWAR) I only didn't give 5 stars to this book because of the ending. (I don't want so say much because of spoilers but) Am I the only one who got the sense of repetition? And maybe I'm also used to reading more realistic and important deaths in a battlefield, than the ones that happened there. Either way, I really enjoyed the book. My love for Feyre and Rhysand kept growing. And I want more stories about their inner circle and how the rest of the world is going to unfold.

(ACOFAS) Ohh this book was just wholesome. A soft blanket to warm our hearts. We get to know more about the characters and it's also a reminder, to us, that everybody copes with trauma in different ways and that it takes time to heal.

(ACOSF) Dudeeee what a let down.... Only the last 100 pages were worth my time.

Sarah why are you doing our favourite characters so dirty? Why??? The only fucking reason for them to start helping Nesta is because she wasted too much money in one night? HOW ABOUT THE OTHER MONTHS?!? Wtf?!? Even when Rhys doesn't give a fuck about their money! Like for real, wtf? I know it's Nesta's POV but we all know that Rhys isn't the shithead/bastard you turn/make him look like!! He's not fucking Tamlin come on! I'm not even going to rant any more about that.

For the people who love smut, this book is intense and full of it, have fun! For me, since I've been reading this series recently and one book after another, I have to say I was a bit annoyed with the sex in this book. Like can y'all keep it in your pants for a bit?! Obviously I wanted them both together, but for me it felt forced (maybe that's not the right word but wtv). Idonno, anyway.

My favourite characters were the House, Gwyn and Emerie. For me, they made the story more appealing and got me to finish the book. I hope they appear in the next ones. I love Cassian, but even him was weird in this book somehow. Andddd about Nesta... Jeezzz. I wanted to see her evolution and I was left with mixed feelings. Something about the way the author wrote about her personality and her character development, idonno. It's not that I don't like her, it's just the things she's going through and the things she has done, nothing justifies her actions. At least she got a good outcome so yeay to us!
