okay fine 🙄 I'll be the one to ask..
since we're talking about remus and sirius: how is their sex like? are they weirdos like rosekiller or more on the vanilla side?
sending this on anon bc i feel like a Perv
♡♡ wait but i'm so glad you asked... to be honest the most major thing i see for them is a daddy kink. but in a way that differs wildly from whatever faux-daddy-kink thing rosekiller has going on.
the thing rosekiller has going on is like
(barty voice, extremely loud) YO.. DADDY’S GETTING HIMSELF A CAPRI SUN. YOU WANT ONE?
the most important thing to me is that wolfstar is a kinky couple but they are CORNY about it. they're unabashedly corny (but it's sort of cute, that they are). they're doing role-play with the little outfits, they're calling each other "daddy" & "princess", they probably own shibari ropes, and it's very domestic and stupid and lived-in (it's corny millennial kink-couple vibes, a little 😭). there is way less of the complex psychosexual veneer that i give other pairings
r/s is the heavyweight CHAMPION of daddy dom/babygirl relationships. sirius wears frilly panties & stockings that their daddy picked out, remus manhandles his little princess with his giant hands, and i think they would lean into the dynamics pretty hard in general?
remus brushes sirius's hair and does their pigtails. sirius can pout and swing her legs to get what she wants. i've had my brain chemistry fundamentally changed by fiveht's "disarm you with a smile" & greenvlvetcouch's "birthday boy" series.
(rosekiller is doing daddy stuff but in an insane faux-pederastic psychosexual freudian way where barty is working through his childhood trauma by perving on evan's innocent virginal fragility. come sit on daddy's lap, bunny. let him touch you in that place that makes you feel funny...) (this is why they're my faves)
the size kink is another major element... the fandom debates this every few months, but I'm firmly on the side of beautiful fairy princess sirius w/ her Gigantic Werewolf Husband. it's actually incredible that remus is able to fit inside her.
if you see sirius (5'3) holding remus's hand (6'5), you're briefly amazed at how their pretty head barely comes up to his collarbones.
cockwarming is definitely a huge thing for them. remus keeps her stuffed while he's grading papers, in bed in the morning, idly bounces her on it while they're watching a movie... he likes to see her pretty face when she gets overstimulated & cries
^AND he's doing this because she's always fucking bratty!!!
i just really believe that we should have the freedom to lean into the Wattpad-ification of it all. wolfstar can be really beautiful and complex (the most complex, even!), but r/s doesn't always have to be the most serious & best representation or whatever. i'm a rosekiller blog so i can carry the cross of "dainty elfin sirius in a little pink negligee & bunny-tail butt plug getting absolutely demolished by her wolf boyfriend's werewolf knot while he's in a rut, or whatever"
i think when they do sexy roleplay they make each other do voices, actually. they're dorks about it. they're dorks about everything

Not a request but I have yandere jade brainrot where he falls for an actor/actress who is one of the top stars at a local theater. They are known to be extremely good at playing different roles and personalities and something about that really speaks to jade. He wonders what role they’d “play” when he decides to make his presence known to him 👀
Tw: yandere, stalking, Jade’s a jerkass but what’s new
Stalker Jade came directly to mind ok hear me out:
Jade noticing that his classmates seem to be talking about a new psychological drama. It appears to be the recent craze… and Azul made him watch it. Having an extensive knowledge of the current trends that could be useful for the Mostro Lounge, especially for special promotions to appeal to the students so they’ll come in and drop more cash.
So Jade grudgingly watches it. Yet to his surprise, he actually gets invested into it. The characters develop throughout the hellish landscape, changing who they fundamentally were just to survive… it was ever so fascinating.
One actor caught his eye, in particular. You. The way you seemed able to contort your face into such aguish, and the passion you poured into the role you played? Jade was hooked the moment you walked onto the set. There was something fluid about you, the way you seemed to shift into various states of emotion ever so easily.
He became a fan, after your very first scene. Now, Jade’s a rather curious person. It’s hard to make him like something, but once he does, he’ll tear up an entire library researching about that one thing. It’s both a skill and a passion, at this point.
He knows everything about his beloved mushrooms, and he knows almost everything about you, his precious sea-star. He’s dipped into articles, interviews, videos, anything he can get his hands on just to find out more about you. What do you like to eat, how you started acting, where you were spotted most often… Jade knows it all.
Jade collects merchandise sparingly. Maybe one or two postere he finds adorable, that’s all. Now, what he’s really obsessed with is the things you’ve used.
You held one water bottle during an interview? Jade’s scouring the internet for an identical one. You’re wearing a new jacket from a sponsor? He’s preordering it right now. He even has a blank account where he follows all the people you follow on Magicam just to see how your feed looks like, from your perspective.
He just wants to understand how you think, how you act… isn’t that the basis of a healthy, stable relationship? Putting yourself in the other person’s shoes? (he has the same shoes as you too.)
See, all Jade wants is to get to know you on a more personal level. A more inmate level. Now what’s wrong with that?
So when you announce a new movie in the works with Night Raven College as the backdrop, Jade’s sliding his way into the greeting committee, pulling a few strings here and there to ensure you had the best accommodations in Octavinelle dorm. Don’t worry, everything has been prepared for you, by Jade’s own two hands.
The room was… uncannily similar to the one you had at home. The brand of soap in the toilet, the fabric they used to line the bed… even a replica of the pillow you left lying at your home. It’s just a coincidence… right? A lucky chance. That’s got to be it, right?
Even after Jade shut the door, you still felt… uneasy. Glancing around like a timid little critter, trying to quell the anxiety building up within your heart. As if you were being monitored, somehow. Watched from all corners, in fact.
You try to tell yourself it’s all nerves, you’re just stressed being in a new environment. It’ll all work out somehow, it’ll be fine. Reassuring yourself over and over again, chanting those words like a desperate prayer. Words unheard by the whole world… except for you, and the eel watching on his screen.
My, it was a good idea to keep that Ignihyde student in his debt. Now, he had a front row seat to you. What truly touched him from the very first drama he saw you in was your splendid portrayal of fear. Jade sincerely hopes you’ll give him a greater, genuine performance now.
Oh, if you ever find out? Your outrage has its charm as well. Go ahead, try to report Jade. There was a reason why he made the Ignihyde student set up every single hidden camera in the room with his bare hands. There are multiple Octavinelle students who would be willing to testify to the court, saying that the Ignihyde student snuck in all on his own… acting ever so suspiciously as well!
So go on, make the report. Sentence an innocent student to a lifetime of disgrace and shame. Jade doesn’t particularly care about what happens to that poor student… but you would, wouldn’t you? Because deep down, you have a conscience. You have a soft, bleeding heart.
It’s why you excel in your act. Because you know how emotions feel. How they tear at your throat, burn in the depths of your gut. You feel, so much more than a regular person does. Fine by Jade.
He’ll let you struggle and fight for as long as you want. However, you’ll never escape him, for as long as he draws breath on this world.
You know, Jade used to see you as another unassuming, boring human… but he doesn’t, anot more. He’s fascinated by you, now.
Unfortunately for you.

watching fusion reborn again and i need to talk about it before my head erupts tw for insane delusional rambling about a non canon anime movie that came out in 1995
the whole scene where theyre discussing fusion is like such a vital kakavege moment in history LMAO like it starts off with goku diving into a pile of NEEDLES (which he has a phobia of, if u dont recall) without hesitation to catch vegeta and safely escort him to the ground. wild detail to add guys but what do i know lmao
the conversation uses crazy language like goku saying “youre going to fuse with me” and “there’s no other way, you must know that” among other lines implying he knows vegeta well enough to predict his reactions in this situation which you KNOW is my shit i love when goku and vegeta show that they know each so well
goku’s stupid “vegetaaa youre already dead” followed by the weirdly long animation of vegeta’s annoyed face isnt relevant but it is super funny
also not that important but the way goku and vegeta say each other’s names over and over again its like every other word out of their mouth is each other’s names it’s so gay dude
then the scene after where goku runs to vegeta’s aid only to stop before touching him cuz he knows vegeta doesnt want his help, this kills me this kills me so bad
FOLLOWED BY VEGETA BREAKING DOWN AND CRYING, LIIIIIKE OKAY ALRIGHT THATS A LEVEL OF VULNERABILITY I WOULDNT EXPECT VEGETA TO SO CASUALLY DISPLAY IN FRONT OF GOKU LIKE ..! DAMN LMAO.. also goku trying to console him after is so good omg
then of course the line “i guess fusion is out of the question huh. you have your pride as a saiyan prince and everything” this is the kind of line that whenever i hear it i need to be sedated in order to calm down like oh my GOD. goku is just unreal. he knows and cares about vegeta SO much he’s so understanding of vegeta’s feelings he’s so fucking crazy in love with him it makes me nauseous not to even mention that this like definitely makes vegeta reconsider fusion after hearing because almost immediately after he says “kakarot, perform fusion with me” AND AGAIN WITH THIS CHOICE OF LANGUAGE.. perform fusion with me.. no suggesting no asking just straight up “okay kakarot we’re doing it.” it wasnt we’re going to perform fusion, or i will perform fusion with you, but simply perform fusion with me. wild dude. insane.
AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THEIR FINAL INTERACTION. vegeta saying “kakarot i never want to perform fusion with you again” with the biggest smile ive ever seen him have and goku laughing in response and just saying “see u later vegeta” GODDDUUGGHHH WHAT THEFUCK !!
fusion reborn is a banger of a dbz movie dude esp for kakavege fans like its the best argument we have in kakavege’s name lmao. its just goku and vegeta being vulnerable with each other and fighting a bad guy together and having fun with literally no one else involved its just a fun little adventure they go on together that no one ever really knows about <3
TL;DR im pretty normal overall about fusion reborn…!!

If someone I actually think cares about the answer asks me what my favourite movie is then its Bright Young Things (2003) because it's a beautiful movie that not enough people have seen and it just is so perfect to me in a way I can't put into words.
If someone asks me my favourite movie and I can tell they don't actually care that much then it's Paddington 2 (2017) closely followed by Paddington (2014) because that bear is a NATIONAL FUCKING TREASURE AND I WILL FIGHT ANYONE WHO DARES DISRESPECT HIM

maybe its bc of where i am emotionally in life but i think good will hunting is about loving yourself enough to be able to go after what you want. its a very ‘this may be expected of you but that doesnt matter if you don’t want it’ and ‘the people who really love you love you enough to want what you want too’ and ‘you deserve to have the kind of life you want. you deserve to not have to live moment to moment. you deserve dreams.’ kind of thing and thats so Much. its So Much

There’s this weird sub genre of things i’m unhinged about, and it’s just. Like. When themes are different and we don’t talk about it.
like what is the season 1 theme for house md. It’s different from the rest of the seasons. when i tried to google it i was told it was different in different countries. like what.
And then you have casino royale. A movie i really like but why. Is the theme different than the chris cornell version. Like. Its the same song but the opening of the song sounds different. Admittedly i have a different like. Not from the soundtrack version. But the soundtrack - at least on itunes - doesn’t have the song in it at all
This is just a weird thing where like. Why don’t we talk about this more. Why must this just fester in my mind forever without answers.

Ok. I’m still trying to gather my thoughts and settle my hyperfixation after episode 3 of the Percy Jackson show, but one of my conclusions is that this is one of very few adaptations that actually understands the term ‘adaptation’ and furthermore what makes one successful.
On a fundamental level, understanding and respecting the source material is a must. You need to not just know the bullet points of the story, but you need to know the ‘why’s’- why does this story need to be heard, why do people like it, why does it stand out from the others in it’s genre, etc.
Second, you need to deconstruct the source material and piece it back together in a way that makes sense for the new format. Copy-pasting almost never works, since there will inevitably be discrepancies between the readers’ imagination and the adaptation that can distract from immersion.
Third, you need to provide something new. Why does this story deserve to be told in a different format? What can this add to the original themes of a story? What can we change to make the message come across more on screen? Will this dialogue really be as funny when it’s said out loud?
We’ve seen a lot of terrible “adaptations” of animation and books and musicals into movies/tv shows, and I think even among the better ones there is a dissonance between the desire to stay faithful to the source and the desire to make a good adaptation, with whatever changes that may necessitate.
I think while we’ve watched the casting of this series, the hints here and there, and final the premiere with bated breath, they’ve been playing the long game. They cast Walker as Percy before he was in the Adam Project. Many people expressed…unsavory…feelings when Leah was cast as Annabeth, but those of us that trusted the team behind this project- including the author himself- did our best to welcome her and were repaid tenfold with her performance in this episode particularly.
Most of the scenes in this episode were not at all how I imagined them in the book, but I adored it. They took what they were given and expanded on it. They created a mini-arc for the trio learning to trust each other. They gave Medusa a labyrinthine lair. Annabeth is a 12 year old walking into a convenience store for the first time in 6+ years with $200 in her pocket, of course she’s gonna buy as much as she can carry.
The love and care and artistry that went into this single episode brings me so much joy and gives me so much hope. Like I was already excited for a faithful adaptation, but seeing these characters come to life on screen, once you see their chemistry with each other and how they speak and push and pull at each other’s emotions, it has never been more clear to me the amount of care and foresight that went into this show.
Rick said that these kids are the characters he created and for like 2 years I’ve trusted that that was true, but today it was proven beyond the shadow of a doubt.
I am just…in awe.

I’m actually really glad they changed Ballister’s name in the movie, because, to me, Ballister Blackheart and Ballister Boldheart are fundamentally different characters (both live in my head rent free, but in different apartments).
HOWEVER, i do have a personal headcanon as to why, in movie universe, his name is different: (Forgive me if anyone has said this before, or if the creators have explicitly said anything that contradicts this lol)
So Ballister’s born last name WAS Blackheart, but when he joined the Institute they were like “Listen… sure, but “Blackheart” doesn’t rlly fit our brand :) ur gonna have to change that babe :/.”
Idk it just seems fitting with the Institute’s whole Thing ig

This may only be my opinion on the matter, and I know a few Natives myself who all have their own ideas about this. However; to me if you want to make a Native character, be they for a game, as an OC; whatever doesn't matter. All you need to do in order to make sure you're not being offensive? Just do like, the bare minimum research.
Step 1. Pick a location for your character.
If your character exists within some fantasy world or whatever then it can be a bit harder to pinpoint something like this. At this point skip to step 2.
If your character is of Earth, or is of our known universe (yes this includes sci fi settings), then trace their bloodline back to where they originally are from.
I say this because it will help you with step 2.
You need to know where, or at least roughly where your character is from.
Step 2. Pick a tribe from that location that makes sense for the character.
Again, even a basic level of research goes a long ways here, I know fanfic writers who would get put on a list looking up the ins and outs of some criminal shit just to accurately write a character, I know you have the ability to research shit so I trust you can do this here.
Figure out based on the location you picked for your character, what tribe they would reasonably be a part of. If you find that you'd rather have them in a specific tribe; perhaps one that's important to you or something; you can do Step 1 and Step 2 in reverse order.
The important thing here is that: If you have to make up a tribe, I'm going to understand you don't actually care about them being Native. If you have to give them a specific tribe but you don't bother to give that tribe the basic respect of knowing where they're from I am once again going to understand you just don't actually give two shits about Natives.
Okay so now that we have an understanding of what tribe our character is from, we can begin looking into that tribe's culture. This may be a bit difficult in some cases since not everything is going to just be out there on the internet, and you may also not have a fundamental understanding of the culture and how it's changed over the years. Guess what, that's fine! I'd rather see a character who's specifically said to be Lakota, and who knows about our deities and teachings even if they're the sort of thing most modern Natives don't believe in or care about. Accurate depiction of culture is not a stereotype!
Once we know what sort of things might be important to this character culturally, we can begin to weave small noticeable traits into them, or you can even make those traits a much larger part of the character. As a quick example, for my Vtuber's design I included not only the colors of the Four Directions but often depict them with a braid and use owl feathers as a sort of symbol of them. This all comes directly from the fact my Life Shield uses owl feathers to represent my family, includes the Four Directions, and I literally grew up with a braid and continue to grow out my hair as to have another; it's all part of the culture I was raised in, even if I amplified the importance of some aspects to sort of make them a trait for a character. Again, accuracy isn't a stereotype.
I also want to briefly mention that when you're naming your character I urge you to look up how people in the tribe are actually named, please don't just do the old "color + animal" thing or whatever and think it's fine. Just again, do the bare minimum research to figure out how people in that tribe are named and go from there. I once joked with my partner that "the only thing about the Natives in Twilight that's remotely accurate is that they have the most generic white American names"
If you want an actually pretty good example of what I'm talking about, look no further than Prey. No not the movie, no not the modern remake; but the game from like 2006.
Tumblr media
Our main character here is a Native man named Tommy, or rather Domasi "Tommy" Tawodi and he's actually said to be Cherokee. Now you can say what you will about his spirit powers and such, I get it.
But from a sheer design perspective?
Tumblr media
Yea that's not bad at all! Everything from the facial features to his name to his general aesthetic is spot on for the Cherokee I've met out at the reservation. This is what I mean when I say accurate depiction of a culture isn't some harmful stereotype.
I'd love to see more Natives in things, I'd love to see Native OCs; but I feel like people are so scared to make Natives a thing because doing so could be racist if you misrepresent us or something. Like okay let me tell you right now you're not gonna do it worse than people who have made millions off selling books and movies whether it's westerns that depict us all as uncivilized killers or whatever the hell was going on in twilight; you're gonna be fine so long as you TRY.
And yes it's actually as easy as a 3 step process, the same sort of thing you'd do for any character really.
I mean think about it, let's say I was some weeb who really wanted to make a Japanese character but I didn't want to do any research. I could make the mistake of putting them in these overly traditional outfits and settings and maybe at least some of the details would be accurate but overall it'd be pretty bad rep, or I could go the polar opposite direction and just make them look like they're some British street punk with their whole aesthetic being way off from the sort of actual street fashion of places like Tokyo; again misrepresenting a whole subculture there. Or maybe I could do what everyone does to Natives and deem them to be some fantasy race who must have super powers and make them into essentially just an anime character; obviously that would be some severely bad rep. All of which could be fixed if I just bothered to go "okay where do I want this person to be from? What sort of culture do people from there abide by in their day to day life? How could I reflect that in a character?"
Honestly that's just good practice for making any sort of character based on a real world group.
And going back to a point I stated in Step 1. If you want to include a Native character in a fantasy world where ya know, America doesn't exist and therefore we couldn't logically have Native Americans; pick a tribe and go off that. As long as it's accurate I don't believe it would be seen as disrespectful.
At the end of the day there will always be people who get up in arms about anything; like it's their job to twist anything into being racist. You will never make those people happy, don't bother trying.
