i'm actually going to cry.
maybe the reason Anya suddenly revealed her secret to Damian, of all people, is because she felt guilty about knowing his deep desire for familial love. he didn't mention it, but it was painfully obvious in the way he looked at her with this soft, sad smile:
anya is so strong. i would've cried and hugged him 😭
but lo and behold, anya wasn't so strong after all. after trying so hard to keep her ability a secret, she told damian anyway – and without hesitation too.
crying... this panel is everything to me
personally, what Anya did was equivalent to a hug. maybe she felt bad... maybe guilty... maybe she wanted him to feel less alone... maybe she pitied him... maybe she sympathized... or maybe she felt it was the right thing to do. but in her own way, she definitely did it to make him feel better and less alone :')
maybe i'm just yapping. but the two of them are so similar in so many ways. Damian despite being part of a real family longs for real connection. and Anya, despite loving her family so much, secretly wishes what they had was truly real – a family not held together by a mission or conveniences, but just that, a simple family. they both just want a home man
this chapter was perfect in so many ways. these kids make my heart hurt, and i'm so scared yet excited for what Endo has in store for the next arcs <3

Buddy Daddies - Episode 12 - SPOILERS!! The Diner Nest
Let’s take a deeper look at Kazuki’s diner: Diner Nest.
First, the name comes from his last name, which is a combination of the kanji for 来 (kuru - come) and 栖 (su - nest). Another thing to note its interior:
You can tell Kazuki decorated this place. It really fits his style:
Brick, the same type of green overhead lamp, stools, similar types of posters, there are also things like the yellow chairs and plant, which fit with the living room part of their apartment back in Fukuoka. Even the smaller white lights in his apartment room look similar to the larger white lights he has in the diner.
Now, let’s look at the location of Diner Nest. As I mentioned above, there apartment was “back” in Fukuoka, because I’m fairly sure that they are living in Okinawa now. That makes sense. Once Miri was done with daycare, they likely moved. Not only because it was probably safer, but also because it allows for a proper “fresh start.” Also, they wouldn’t be located in the red light district anymore.
While the beach and palm trees are good indicators of them being in Okinawa, an even bigger one, imo, is the use of English everywhere in their establishment and their establishment being a diner. Now, English is often used in Japan, for tourism and because it can look cool. But, Diner Nest has it...absolutely everywhere:
The sign on the door says “OPEN” and “CLOSED,” the blackboard sign inside looks to be written completely in English. That doesn’t look like Japanese at all. On the windows we see “Have A Grateful Day” and something involving coffee.
The mat says, “WELCOME,” and the sign inside the plant has Diner Nest on the top and then what looks like English writing underneath it.
And the fact that their restaurant is specifically a diner is also important too for why they are likely in Okinawa. Diners originated in America, specifically Rhode Island, and they sell American style food, coffee, and so forth. We see this with the meal Rei gives to Miri (and with the window saying Coffee).
There’s definitely a Japanese flare to the presentation, but the food is all stuff you’d find at an American diner for sure. And, of course, of all this leads back to the fact that there are a lot of American military bases in Okinawa.
32 to be exact. So, their diner being in Okinawa makes sense, because it is a restaurant style that appeals to the Americans and the main language (written-wise) in the restaurant is English, all of which would appeal to the Americans living nearby at the bases (and which would have varying degrees of Japanese language ability).

So, the Graphic Novel came out.
(NOT A SPOILER) I just want to say something.
For the first time in two decades, there's been new canon Danny Phantom content. Needless to say, we're all very exited about it.
As we passed the day of the official release, there are still a lot of people out there who don't have the GN, yet. There can be a lot of reasons for that. Some are still waiting for their copy to arrive in the mail, some live outside of America and shipping takes very long/the release of the book in their country has been pushed back (<- that one is me by the way) or they simply can't afford to spend the money on it right now (if this is you, there is already a google drive with the entire GN going around).
What I want is to ask you all to be a little mindfull when posting in the near future. Excitement is at an all time high and I know we're all vibrating to talk about the new content and share art/fics/screenshots/whatever.
If you post on tumblr, then please tag your spoilers for all the people that follow you that haven't had the chance to read the GN yet. This counts for rebloggs as well.
If you post a fic on AO3 or FF.net or any other website, then please either tag your spoilers or write a short little note into your summary so people will know and can chose to avoid it for the time being.
If you talk on discord or any other community website, please be mindfull what you say and where. If you're unsure where to talk, ask your mods. If you're a mod and want to help people feel comfortable in your servers, consider (for discord) to give people channels with role-bound access to talk about spoilers.
I myself have been spoilered multiple times already and friends have tolde me that it happend to them as well.
I don't want to ruin everyone's fun. What I'm asking is:
Please don't spoil the fun for people that haven't had the chance to read for themselves.
