im redesigning the titans so for my own personal reference —

dick has curly hair, maybe in the range of 3a-4c type curls. he doesn’t really take care of it but they coil super easily, especially when it’s longer. he keeps it at his shoulders, maybe with a fringe. he ties it back a lot. darker complexion, a strong nose, dark blue eyes. he has a beauty mark on his left cheekbone. he smiles like his dad, but he has his mother’s eyes. the shortest titan, but it’s easy to forget because he always seems much taller than he is

donna’s got curlier hair, with proper ringlets. she and kory do each other’s hair, and she’s a big fan of oversized claw clips. a roman nose, olive complexion, brown eyes. wide shoulders, strong arms, big fan of bangles and bracelets and rings — always in silver. if someone buys her gold jewellery she gives it to dick. the tallest, along with garth. she smiles with her whole face.

roy’s very tan, very freckled, with high cheekbones and an aquiline nose. his hair is more of a dark copper, and his eyes are hazel. he’s always stubbled, no matter the time of day. broad shoulders, and he’s got a tummy! lots of upper body strength. long, calloused fingers. he’s slowly growing his hair out, and it falls very straight. he’s taller than dick, but shorter than wally

garth is almost as tall as donna, high body fat as an underwater dweller, and always smells of the tide. curly hair that’s always crusted with salt and sand. the clearest skin — so soft to touch. dolphin braids his hair for him, so it doesn’t dry weird when he’s on the surface. keeps having to adjust his posture a little, when he’s walking around. his eyes are violet, like a sunset

wally is pale. very light complexion, pale eyebrows and eyelashes, lots of freckles, light green eyes. he keeps his hair short, and it’s always blown up off his forehead. roy calls him sonic the hedgehog. very lanky, with a runner’s build. upturned nose, strong jaw, struggles to grow facial hair. roy’s hair is red, but wally’s is almost a strawberry blond. when he goes outside without sunscreen, he crisps up like a bacon rasher

While processing Pandora's book, I realized one more thing. Amadeo wasn't simply Marius' first fledgling in 1500 years. Considering how Pandora's making was planned and triggered by Akasha... Amadeo was... the first fledgling who was Marius' own. Whose making was Marius' own decision. Triggered by circumstances, yes, but not enforced by Mother. And I am sooooo fine about this.

Pandora's book is supposed to be a part of different series - officially it's not a part of TVC - but IMO this book is so valuable. Anyone who reads TVC should read it too.

(Also: the vision of David editing Pandora's and Armand's book in parallel still haunts me. IDK why this fandom did not produce a million jokes about this. I think it's so funny!)

I never saw Danny Phantom as a kid, except for a glimpse of the intro. Because of this, for many years I thought that Fentons made their son a half ghost on purpose

Like yeah strange scientists obsessed by ghosts make their son a half ghost so that he helps them and the whole town knows about it absolutely correct this is exactly the essence of the show

Hard to believe it's been ten years since I first gained an interest in this show. I remember seeing content for the first ten-year anniversary and being impressed by how long the phandom has lasted. I never imagined I'd be back for more a decade later and that you guys would over-deliver. It's great, everyone's still going on kicking and teasing the afterlife limbo

I remember I made fanart too for my first dannyversary... oof, that'd be painful to look back on, but that would have been a good idea for a redraw.

The RISE fandom needs more diverse representation, I think

I need a nonvocal fanfiction where there’s a dislike for talking & ASL when you’re nonverbal. ASL is okay when you want to talk, but there are times when there’s a distinct weight in your bones that makes you not want to move or think enough to actually process and every time someone talks to you and expects an answer the weight on your chest grows and your emotions squirm towards heavy and stressed and suddenly your eyes are pricking with tears but you’re not sad.

I want communication that consists of an absent dose of sighs, facial expressions, snorts, and anything vocal is a soft, “mmhmm” (yes) “mm-mm” (no) and “mmmm” (acknowledging I can hear you as you talk) as communication as you do your thing and they do theirs.

I want 2018 Donnie to experience this.

I managed to translate a Meltdown of sorts into his autistic feels.

Surely I can translate this too. There isn’t even any proof that they speak sign language constantly. Who’s to say he does use it?

Other than the entire fandom don’t judge me I know okay

Donnie deserves some more diversity, I think.

Honestly, I’m really hoping that we are seeing Snake’s backstory from cinematic records that some reaper is reviewing because getting another near death situation as Bard’s would be meh :// But IF someone is actually watching Snake’s cinematic records, who is it? It would make soo much sense for this grim reaper to be William considering his involvement in the circus arc and all of that but we saw both him and Ronald in the previous arc🤔Besides there was already a scene in circus arc with William watching Joker’s records, wouldn’t be weird for Yana to do similar thing twice?

You know, Transformers One reminds me of the recent TMNT movie; they've gone back to their E for everyone roots thematically, they've somewhat aged down the characters (considering we're seeing Orion Pax for a change) and take on a sickass 3D artstyle. Both IPs were also tainted by Michael Bay prior, nature is healing!

There are two things my brain latched onto from the trailer; the fact that there MAY BE QUINTESSONS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FUCKING FOREVER (lets go babyyyy) and the fact that they seem to be monoformers??? It's a fascinating choice, considering the comics had functionalism as a social construct--which kinda goes out the window if alt-modes aren't a thing yet. It also explains why their initial designs lack the heavy artillery that's typically there.

It also dawned on me there's a fair few transformers I know and love who probably won't be in it because they were constructed cold during the war, which I guess will lend more of a spotlight to some of the old classics from G1. I'm fuckin HYPED

My HC about Marius' proposal to Pandora's father is neither "Marius wanted to marry a child and consummate the marriage immediately" nor "Marius wanted to prolong his unmarried state by being betrothed with a child" but a secret third thing (a man who was secretly very lonely among people he could not bond with saw a kin spirit and wanted to make this person his family, whatever form it takes).

(Looking back to the first time I read Pandora's book, I think I always saw it this way. I just never bothered to put this feeling into words.)

Coming from a place in my life where I’d never thought I’d experience love, I’m hopeful for it. To have the feeling of selfishly wanting to be under that person all the time seems comforting. Having that person choose to love YOU and being able to reciprocate that for them… I wouldn’t think about anybody else. Such a selfless act can’t even be formulated into the most eloquent of words. I’d be forever grateful.
