which brings us to the next one which is actually an octoling oc i made back in like 2016??? def splatoon 1 era. shes been redesigned a bajillion times but the story is mostly the same. after the octavio fight she is also one of those octos who tried to get to inkopolis. this one was found by three who was like. i jave no idea what ur saying ur coming with the the old man totes knows octarian from his divorce. this n that and they teach eachother language and culture and its sweet and cool and they probabyl had some wlw stuff going on until 3 had a wholeass gender crisis

this is her btw. the drawing on the right is more up to date. im still thinking of renaming her. ill never find a name that fits. her original name was marianna but thats too close to marina!!!!!

shes also a fashion designer! she likes to use traditional octarian or military designs in her clothes. her pieces are not meant for turf wars though. shes still in close contact with three, and they hang out a lot. she wants to get three to ask the squid sisters if they could wear some of her clothes on a splatfest. three forgets.

next up!!!!! agent 4. i have two of those. they independently became agent 4 and then unrelatedly also became college roommates.

hash is more of a canon adjacent agent 4. poser, loser, really dramatic and really loud. kidna does whatever they want and also likes to leave graffitti on the kettles they clear. theyre also an only child. they also call marie mom jsut to annoy her. also their hairstyle is the bob in the front but the back is spiky/shaved. theyre a silly lil punk.

ikarus is a cynical asshole. and also a self centered poser whos set on looking cool for whoevers watching. he has 2 younger siblings and 1 older sister. hes from outside greater inkopolis, thinks hes better than the in city inkopolitans but behaves the exact same. he sucks i love him. he really looks up to n respects marie bc she reminds him of his elder sister. his fav brand is toni kensa

ikarus got the agent job first, n got rlly mad when they found out that theres another agent 4 bc he didnt show up enough nd marie just hired someone else. they share a uniform. they try to annoy eachother by puttinf the weirdest smelling stuff in the uniform b4 leaving it at the canyon. when talking ab em as agent 4 i like to use #4 for hash and n°4 for ikarus

the two also have a 3rd roommate

the three actually make a pretty good unit in their apartement. hash and ikarus only find out theyre both agent 4 when its time for the boss fight and both of them show up to get it done with. theyre both very competitive. they end up fighting over it and hash wins. ikarus is on the truck w sheldon and marie and is yelling insults at the battlefield until marie shuts him up so she can sing.

thw three roommates also always do salmon run shifts together. if they fuck up on a wave they always blame it on the one freelancer. yes they also kiss.

theyve always been really fascinated with inklings and also were going to become an engineer before running off and landing in the metro.

they are very well spoken but also pretty shy. they try to make a good impression on people. finds it hard to trust others.

it took a while until he got used to sleeping in a bed. still sleeps with an eye open sometimes. its a habit.

theyre usualyl the one forcing three into at least okay looking clothes. oh also this tall loser likes to wear heels n platforms. hes literally taller than marina and still wears heels.

he actually started learning inklish back in octo valley from really outdated books. after coming to inkopolis hes been given a buncha annotated language books from marina (and from three, who still had the ones they used w the other octo girlie). but they still end up using some really old phrases and words that kinda leave some people perplexed.

oh also they're not THAT good at fighting (they were never a soldier) theyre smart and persistent though. still ended up severely in debt w pearl bc of the metro. pearl offered he can just work as stage crew for off the hook for a few tours or so and theyre good. he took the offer immediately bc bro barely got income to repay that all normally.

i rant about this a lot already but the EEAAO backlash from twitter "film buffs" is so annoying bc i feel like it's representative of this overall narrative among enthusiasts of all kinds of art forms -- that being dark and cynical makes something inherently more worthwhile.

i understand the many places this comes from. we're being inundated with fluffy nothing fandom/IP movies with massive budgets that prioritize being gif-able and "wholesome" and "comfort media" over being actually good and refuse to push boundaries in turn. and a lot of the greatest art we have IS dark and uncomfortable and upsetting. i have a lot of favorite movies that i would not watch over and over bc they definitely do not "comfort" me but theyre excellent films. so as a result of all of this you start to think any movie that can be labeled "wholesome" is bad and shlock and mcu-flavored. and part and parcel is every movie that is decidedly uncomfortable and dark is good. i saw a lot of people defending blonde before it even came out because hey, it's violent, it's uncomfortable, it steps on toes. but like. the movie also just wasnt very good to most people lol. like we all saw the fetus by now dude.

so like my big brain thought is that there are good "wholesome" movies and good "dark" movies. tone is not inherent to quality. human centipede is DEEPLY uncomfortable, but it is most definitely not oscar-worthy to me. eeaao has a lot of messages about kindness, but i also think it's a truly excellent film. i see this among book nerds too. idk anyway this has been on my mind a lot.

i don't think cynic ever used to think about his looks too hard until he met another sonic and most other sonics, realizing how different he is from them - especially in terms of color scheme. theyre all usually a darker, more saturated blue, and they actually have color in their eyes.

his eyes are actually just a very dark color though. he always assumed they were black 'cuz most of the time they DO look black, but sometimes they look more green or blue in the right light.

OK OK so alot. to say. because I'm still struggling with characters i'm only talking about the select few I've assigned properly because what i do have fits well i think

Also this contains alot of spoilers for the thing i think. fyi. watch out. minor stuff most of it's just vaguely implied but it's talk about the movie so hey

AS FOR THE AU! I'm not thinking of changing or rewriting much, it'd be a little difficult in the first place because alot of the movie is left intentionally vague and alot of what happened to who or who did what is left in the dark for the mystery. its mostly mashing characters together for my own satisfaction rather than much of any movie rewrite (because the thing.. yes she's perfect as she is)

who I've assigned to who may not make total sense for mutuals as very few have watched the movie but hopefully my explanations are adequate ^^ some of these ive already posted actually but hey

several or all of them also dont have matches for body types/races/ages because like all the part 5 characters are young white Italians which is.. mm. but I've tried not to ignore that and its also slightly based off how I draw the characters for some. I dont know I won't get into that

ANYWAYS

R.J MACREADY IS.. ABBACCHIO

For many reasons! Of all I think this one is the most fitting.. I love it. I enjoy Abbacchio's character alot, and having him take the role of a protagonist is very interesting.. Especially if it's one like MacReady, who's written in a way where- due to switches in perspective- even you don't know if he's trustworthy until the very end. Hell they lock him outside once for fear he's The Thing /lh

They've got many similarities though... Let's start,

Both alcoholics. Obviously not a massive ' GOTCHA ' reason for choosing the character, it's a bit absurd on it's own, but a shared trait nonetheless. They're both specified to be or have been heavy drinkers.

Writing down directly from my notes here.. Both jerkasses. To quote from MacReady's wiki page, " MacReady was a … very level-headed and intelligent man, but he had a cynical, slightly immature sense of humour … and often drank too much when alone in his shack. Despite his progressively harsh attitude and desperate measures, MacReady did genuinely seem to care about the fact everything had fallen apart at Outpost 31 and was determined to prevent the extermination of humanity.. " Both are a bit rude and anti-social. They drive people away, and while they're trusted (atleast at first in MacReady's case) by the people around them, they're still a bit.. coarse, at times. Yet they still care for the people around them regardless

Both suffer from PTSD due to a former service role- or atleast, that's what it appears to be in MacReady's case. He was a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War and survived a tragedy before being stationed at Outpost 31. Abbacchio's service to the police force was much less drastic, but it scarred him the same. You can see these similarities in their behaviors and the results (eg the alcoholism)

Just makes sense in my head. Also Leone deserves some dope-ass shades

Nauls is.. Narancia

Definitely the one I believe fits the most after Abbacchio. They're.. VERY similar, in alot of ways.

Both pleasant and likeable people, Nauls' getting along with near everybody at Outpost 31 seems like a great match. Plus, theyre both very quick thinkers, curious, etc.. Even his slowly dawning fear over their situation seems to match up. From Nauls' wiki page, " Nauls at first was shown to be rather pleasant and humorous, having a good relationship with most members of Outpost 31. He liked to wear roller skates and play loud music while cooking ... " Both very carefree, but as things get serious they quickly do too. They seem fairly innocuous in some ways but they prove themselves to be very helpful assets to everybody around them (and incredibly intelligent in general despite their general lack of seriousness/slight immaturity)

Headbands! they've both got headbands. Dumb detail, but, hey. I won't say nothing about it. Look at them. How nice

While Narancia is NOT the youngest member of the team, even saying it himself, his general young appearance/immaturity matches up with Nauls (most likely) being the youngest member on his crew. Theyre also more effeminate than the rest of their team (though, with jojo.. thats not saying much at all, especially for part 5- everybody in Bruno's gang is very GNC. regardless, point still stands)

To quote TV Tropes, " Enters the room with the dead Norwegian on rollerskates, quips that they might be at war with Norway, contradicts the leader of the camp, insults the only guy agreeing with him, and then leaves. " Now picture it with Narancia. Real

Fuchs is.. Fugo!

OHH this one is very interesting.. It's a surprisingly great matchup? I'm glad I caught it rather than putting him in another role, though his fate ends up.. Quite tragic, this way.

MANY reasons. We'll start with intelligence/reasoning. Fuchs is INCREDIBLY smart, he's the assistant biologist on the outpost (WHICH IS A WHOLE THING IN OF ITSELF. I WILL NOT GET INTO MY PERCIEVED THING ABOUT FUGO AND BIOLOGY) and one of the ones who suggested alot that contributed to their survival due to quick thinking- eg, only eating canned food rather than meals others had prepared to prevent spread and possible assimilation because of how easily it can take hold. That logic is a great matchup for Fugo's own

PERSONALITY! I'll just put the Personality section from Fuch's wiki page and.. I believe it's fairly self-explanatory from there. While Fuchs isn't nearly as prone to anger (he's actually quite calm), not all the results can be exactly perfect. " Fuchs was one of the leading scientists and was a smart and very observant man, as he was able to deduct facts about The Thing almost as quickly as Blair was.. " the quick observation, the intelligence i mentioned, etc etc

His DEEP trust of MacReady (Abbacchio). Fits. Fuchs pulls him to the side several times to discuss things he's learned specifically with MacReady because of how much he trusts and believes in him when going off alone with somebody in this situation puts his life in danger- while those 2 have (debatably) one of the closest bonds of Bruno's gang due to being some of first additions, and working together so often.

Also their names both start with Fu- and I think it's funny

Giorno is.. Clark!

Stares at you with my big eyes. Listen. I know it's quite interesting to assign a Big Man with a Big Beard to somebody that looks like Giorno, but hear me out here. Alright. ok, so,

Ok not JUST for the role as an animal caretaker, but it plays a part in it, I suppose. Clark is the outpost’s dog handler and his connection to animals/protecting living things (eg attempting to stop MacReady from shooting the sled dogs when he accidentally fires on the, by attempting to grab his gun and wrench it away from him) gives him that link to Giorno and Gold Experience in my mind.. Creating life and preserving it, yknow?

While not entirely, their personality tends to match up alot of the time; while he's a bit more reserved than Giorno may be (though he usually is), the way he usually stays surprisingly calm and collected in intense situations and in general brings him to mind- anger only really overcoming him when he has to deal with somebody he considers.. bad, or evil, really (eg green day fight). He's very agreeable with his teammate's plans alot of the time, only objects when things start going wrong, openly takes matters into his own hands to make sure others survive/to get justice for things that have happened (though that didn't turn up very well in Clark's case), etc.. Not perfect, but it clicks mostly!

Not too much else to say on this one. I'd hope it makes sense from just that. I do internally despise that I chose this matchup a bit though because it would result in Abbacchio shooting Giorno in the forehead and killing him infront of everyone for attempting to stab him. Sucks.

Character information 

This account is a minecraft roleplay account used mainly to roleplay as the character Ether, but I will be posting art as well! I am also an animator, so you can look out for some nice little animations haha

Basic information:

Age: 14

Hostility: During raids, normal evoker hostility, other times, hostile toward untrusted players, Neutral toward everything else. Isnt passive to anything.

Pronouns: They/them

Sexual/romantic orientation: Asexual, Demiromantic

Gender Identity: Agender

Status: Alive

Classification/species: Male battle mage/ghost summoner/necromancer, Illager, Evoker

Personality: (don’t see if you don’t want spoilers) Cunning, cold to people they just met, loyal to a fault. Quite cynical/suspicious of most people when they first meet, but once they know the person has good intentions, they will slowly become closer to them and start trusting them more. Their favourite food is pumpkin pie.

Strengths: Strong willed, Careful, thinks twice, dashes very fast

Weaknesses: Extremely weak in physical combat (aurelia, my witch oc, can beat them in arm wrestling.) Can be rude and insensitive at some times.

Some other information:

Ether’s voice is very quiet, like the type you’d expect from a shy kid giving a presentation. Its got nothing to do with shyness, though.

With new character interactions, Ether will come across as kinda cold, straightforward and reserved, avoiding personal stuff or over-friendly talk.

If you interact with them more and more though, they will slowly become more friendly towards your character.

If you attack them, they WILL attack you back, no matter who you may be (illager, other evoker, whatever.) Of course, you can always do this for some drama, but i will end the rp if one of our characters gets close to dying / is severely injured.

Their abilities:

Evocation fangs:

They call huge fangs about twice the size of an adult human head. They can make the fangs bigger to swallow entire people up, but at the cost of their energy.

They go in a straight line, and bite peoples feet to restrict and hinder movement.

If Ether tries to control them, they could, but dark thoughts would start to take over them if they dont try to keep a sane mind. These fangs are dark magic, malicious spirits that are just out to get you. If the Evoker does not keep their own will, they could quite literally start murdering everyone they see. You know, controlled by an insane, deranged spirit and all- you get the point.

The fangs go about their own will if Ether lets them be, and that is to charge at and bite and tear at anyone and anything they see. Theyre just wild, murderous beasts in a sense.

It is noteworthy that these spirit fangs are not affiliated with the Evoker like vexes are, the Evoker just summons them to attack because they will attack anything they see.

Vexes

Vexes, in my world, are chosen by the evoker to be their specific companion and helper. That means once an evoker chooses their Vexes, that specific Vex will stay with them for life.

Vexes, in my world, are the spirits of deceased illagers. Any other type of spirit (villager, player, piglin etc) cannot become a vex. Purebred illagers will be prioritised over illager hybrids, so it is extremely rare that an illager hybrid spirit would become a vex.

They are transparent, winged little spirits/ghosts about the size of a medium-sized teddy bear, though sizes do vary.

They can pass through walls in pursuit of their target, and they can sense targets through walls as well.

When they are fighting, they will be overcome by anger, turn red and screech piercingly at the entity they are about to attack, stabbing and slashing and doing as much hurt as they can with their sword. After this, they will fade away and somewhat ‘die’, but they can respawn later at the Evoker’s will.

When they are not fighting, the Evoker can choose to summon them as companions/helpers. They will not fade away after a certain period of time if they arent fighting, but once they do engage in battle, normal vex ‘dying’/spawning rules resume.

The Evoker can choose to name their vexes, and most do, though there are some that cant be bothered and leave their vexes nameless.

Ether has four vexes like most other Evokers, though there are some more powerful ones who can summon five. Their names are Fish, Chips, Cookies and Cream. (Come on. They were seven when they named them. Cut them some slack.)

Talking to the deceased

(Please ignore the illageralt text. It gives major spoilers for my story.)

Basically- Evokers, in my world, can interact with the deceased, by summoning their spirits.

Only they can see them, though, and only they can hear what the spirits say. They can still convey what the spirits said through indirect speech, though.

The Evoker cannot summon someone if they have not met them before at least once. This makes sense, doesn’t it? You cant just call to life someone you haven't seen in your entire life.

The Evoker also cannot summon someone if they have already become someone’s vex. Only the Evoker who has ownership over that vex can control when they appear.

The longer they hold the spirit there, the more drained of energy they will become. The Evoker could even collapse and faint if they reach their limit.

Character interactions:

Of course i wont be accepting or replying any nsfw asks, or asks of a sexual/overly-romantic nature.

Cross-Universe asks are allowed! That means if your character is from another universe like Genshin or something, you can still interact with Ether, as long as it is canon, and as long as you dont do a major, plot-impacting event or something.

I saw your post about the Omega Squad memes. Is the Omega Squad your creation or is this something canon from the franchise?

!!!! twinky a thousand apologies but you have accidentally unlocked an info dump about the thing i am most obsessed with aka the republic commando series XD fi, darman, atin, and niner are clone commandos and four of the main characters in the books! the books were the original clone content before TCW was made, and they’re just incredible. super clone-centric, lots of real-feeling complex characters, some of the wittiest humour i’ve read in anything modern. they ask tough questions and don’t sugarcoat anything or make mary sues out of the protagonists, but theyre also really well balanced with lots of family bonding time and the afore-mentioned humor, and even though they have hard themes and sometimes dark ones they’re not cynical or - well, they’re just really well balanced XD and the author was in the military so her action scenes are awesome and she does a great job immersing the audience in the clones’ world and culture. and then her mandalorians!! she was the one who created the mandalorian language and culture and she did just a phenomenal job

…anyways my apologies for the ramble XD but if you can find a copy of the books (thrift books often has them in stock and barnes and noble carries them for almost the same price) i very much recommend them :DDD

16: If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

okay so how i would re-do CANON is completely different from how i would talk abt a reboot so im gonna touch on a couple things in both contexts! the reason for the difference is canon rewrites imply i can go back in time and introduce dp fresh and new, before anyone knows what it is; but for a reboot, id be working with an audience that has a better understanding of the source material, so i dont need to spend as much time explaining, but i also need to keep everything recognizable

REWRITE: i would def make it more danny's fault that her dad lost his job, like danny was intentionally being reckless and shattered some security stuff, and he has a whole mini lesson about learning to not just run in guns blazing. i would probably remove the dating stuff with her and danny (and tuckers crush) too, I think them wanting to be good friends is good enough for freshman year

REBOOT: the fandom already knows valerie exists, so i would actually skip the whole shades-of-gray introductory episode and have her be present as the huntress from day 1-- probably even before danny got his powers. cujo is also HER dog, and her backstory-- we'd find out in like, season 1, that a natural ghost portal (maybe one wulf opened) ripped open on her dog and killed him, and since then shes had a vendetta against ghosts cause of how reckless they are and their disregard for life-- of course, cujo isnt actually dead. cujo is a halfa. a puby halfa. anyway instead of a hoverboard she actually rides cujo around cause he can fly and its big and epic. valerie has BEEN amity parks ghost-eradicating superhero for at least a year (tho shes been in the shadows abt it) and her hatred towards danny actually just becomes really petty, like them flying next to each other chasing skulker just going "I got this. no I got this. no I got this" and they just get in each others' way and its a mutual grudge.

BOTH: i am NOT keeping in vlad giving her the suit to watch danny under any circumstances. it was only utilized half assedly in canon (when vlad couldve just had an invisible duplicate watching him instead) anyway, and I dont have any reason to keep it in a reboot either. instead i want her tech to be a combination of half-stolen and half-gerryrigged stuff and she slowly slowly learns how to build her own.

I also dont want anyone knowing her secret identity, except maybe her dad, and sam or tucker. i think it works better if danny isnt privy to this magic info

REWRITE: i would honestly just remove him. the episodes hes in arent particularly interesting, theyre just generic "we need a plot about x" filler and he's not compelling enough a character (at least in writing) to carry a better plot that another antagonist couldnt. i'm serious

REBOOT: unfortunately in a reboot he's gonna have to pop up somewhere or else ppl will be like "where IS HE" so I'm going to stick with running some kind of ghost circus, maybe a few occult things, but cut out a lot of the spooky magical knowledge and mcguffin stuff. maybe i could make him like, someone from vlad/jack/maddies college who always felt pushed around by them and so he has a vendetta? and theyd be the only reason he even learned abt ghosts in the first place. idk in either way I want to force him into being irredeemable but also include LYDIA (the tattoo girl ghost) way more-- I want to give her an arc that ends in her tossing freakshow aside and running off to be a ghost vigilante.

BOTH: dear god the infinity gauntlet is stupid that needs to GO AWAY. especially for the reboot cause it would exist in a post-mcu world and way too many people would complain about it

REWRITE: amp him up to a far more sinister and villainous character. the crushing on maddie isnt enough, I want to show him on-screen performing experiments on ghosts and himself, dismissing everyone else cause he thinks hes smarter than them. i want him to be actively sabotaging the fentons at every turn. i would also clarify that he doesnt actually want danny as a son, but as a trophy-- a line where danny says something along the lines of "you don't want a son. you want a slave". i want to make him a character who wants to destroy the entire planet and put it in the ghost zone so he can be the true ghost king and i want to make this all evident from day one. if i'm writing a series villain you can bet i'm going to write a GOOD one. less petty drama here and more actual stakes.

REBOOT: it seems silly but sense with reboot we have the benefit of hindsight and recognizing that vlad wasn't a big series villain, theres no way i'd actually go back and write him to be such. for starters, of course, theres the fact that anything he does would really be an exaggerated part of the original, and it would bore an audience to see the same story again-- theres also the fact that it doesnt seem right to take a character who was treated as a joke half the time and suddenly make them big and important. no, instead for my reboot i want to lean into the petty gay uncle vibe. he had a crush on jack and now just casually insults him. he moves mansions every now and again by just haunting the family who lives in the one he wants, and taking over-- i mean, who is gonna believe that an actual ghost haunted you. he dislikes danny not because he has some concept of 'evil' and 'good' but bc danny is just too damn active. of course he actually does care about danny and his safety deep down, it's just on the surface they have very conflicting motivations-- not to mention that danny has been raised on legends from his parents of the villainous Wisconsin Ghost, who has to be stopped at all costs.

BOTH: i want jack and maddie to KNOW he's a half ghost and to actively be hunting him down for it, maybe bc they think hes possessed, or been a ghost tricking them this whole time, or the victim of a tragic lab accident who needs to be put to rest, etc. whatever the case it will give vlad actual tangible reason to despise them and genuinely suspect they dont have dannys best interests at heart. i think it would be neat if vlad was cynical and every time danny hit him with the "I'll expose us both. at least theyll still love ME" vlad could be like in the back of his head "oh god theyre going to kill this child"

REWRITE: cut her out. we don't need her character at all. maybe replace her with a more ominous shadow duplicate / clone that actually looks like danny himself and doesnt really have a name? you could probably combine her and dark dans characters for their arcs

REBOOT: instead of a clone from vlad, she's a guys in white creation using some of dannys dna after he was captured (and vlad broke him out bc he was like "ugh i guess i have to save this child")

BOTH: vlad actually cares abt her (duh), shes nonbinary (double duh), she gets the funny dissolve into goo powers

TW: child molestation (not by gavnur) and child assault and spoilers for CdF

Arrow Purl (born Abel Arrowood) is Gavnur Purl’s adopted kid. He rescued and made them half-vampire when they were 8 years old when he found them half-dead, in the middle of being murdered and molested by their attacker after they had been abandoned by their birth parents in a nearby shopping mall. 

Although he had initial doubts, if he were to save them, he had to make them half vampire so they could survive. Even knowing what could eventually happen to them in the future as a half-vampire, he couldn’t leave them to bleed out from their wounds with their last memories being violated. 

Even with the excelerated healing abilities, it still took them a week or more to heal from the fatal wounds with constant supervision from Gavnur. During the process, their brown hair turned fair silver, with some locks retaining their original color, and their brown eyes got a silver sheen to them. Gavnur chalks this up to the strain of the recovery and the transformation into half vampire, at least at first.

Eventually, they awaken in a daze, half crazed from the memories of their assault, and Gavnur quickly hypnotizes them into forgetting the event entirely and then lulling them back to sleep. When they wake next, they only remember being lured into the alley where he found them and nothing afterwards. The attack left them with several scars on their torso and the slash across their eye and neck, and they know they were attacked and was hurt terribly and Gavnur had to make them half vampire so they could survive because he told them, but isn’t aware of the specifics.

Though they’re initially wary of Gavnur due to previous neglect from their parents, they are still grateful to him for saving their life and taking them in. Gavnur Daddy-Issues Purl immediately takes to them and starts raising them as his own. 

Because of Arrow being missing instead of dead, and only being noticed that their gone by their past school teacher as their parents gave no missing persons reports, Gavnur cuts their hair, hides their gender, and gives them the new name Arrow and his last name, passing them as his nephew and adopted son from his deceased sister. 

Arrow is cautious and easily anxious and scared, and sticks to Gavnur like glue in most situations, often grabbing an article of clothing in reach or his hand. That being said, as they get a little older, they become curious and starts asking more questions about becoming a vampire and everything that comes with it. Most adults are fond of them because they are polite, kind, and have remarkable good behavior. Around Gavnur, they’re more outgoing, witty, and can be a troublemaker. 

Within a year, Arrow grows to love Gavnur dearly and begins calling him their Daddy. Arrow comes to hold him in high esteem and puts his livelihood over their own, much to his chagrin as the opposite is also true on his side. He spoils them with love to the point they can climb up in his lap at any point, even during situations where this could be considered impolite, and he’d let them. The relationship becomes a bit codependent as a result.

As time goes on, Arrow starts showing signs of having premonitions, put into three categories: Sense (most common), Know (as in knowing what a person has or plans), and See (least common and only happens when in direct contact with an object or person. They see the future as it will happen.) A future Seen is impossible to change, unlike a future Sensed. Younger Arrow often can’t put these events into words well, and sometimes forgets that it happens at all. They become more powerful and easier to remember and channel as they get older.

Theres a lot of stuff that happens, but I don’t feel like writing it all down. They do meet Larten before the events of CdF, and then later when Darren and Larten are with the Cirque. They have a horrible, foreboding feeling that something terrible will happen dealing with the four of them, but still makes fast friends with Darren and gains Larten’s affection. Darren see’s echoes of Annie in them and gets attached.

It takes Arrow thirty years to hop up in age, a year before the events of Vampire Mountain, where they look about 17-18. This makes them a late bloomer if I remember half vampire aging correctly. Darren is utterly shocked when they meet up again in Vampire Mountain, only for Arrow to tease him and remind him that they have always been much older than him.

The two’s relationship is that of close siblings. Before, Darren saw himself as the big brother, but that’s soundly flipped on its head and Arrow takes the mantle from him. Arrow is still somewhat childish and the years of traveling with Gavnur has made them more sure of themself, optimistic and cheerful, and gave them a sense of humor, but now that their body and mind has matured, they’re more responsible and is better able to understand adult conversations.

They elect themself to take the Trials first, to give Darren time to train, and takes it upon themself to watch over him and considers his safety very carefully. 

Then, well, Gavnur died, and it all changed. Arrow decides that all vamaneze deserve to die, and after Darren becomes a prince, they fall into depression and despair. Never leaving their room, never speaking, never moving, wanting nothing more than to starve to death and see their father again.

Larten, Darren, and Harkat come to visit and try to get them to eat something or drink blood, but nothing works. Until, Larten visits and puts a letter Gavner wrote on their bedside table. When he leaves, they read it, and realize it was written for them. Leading up to the event of his death, Arrow had been sensing something about to happen, and having dreams about him dying. They had been bringing it up often and anxiously, and the night before his death, they even crawled into his hammock like they did as a kid and begged him to never leave them.

This letter was to tell them that he knew he wouldn’t be able to keep that promise, but that no matter what happened, he wanted them to live a full life knowing that he loved them, and that he wanted them to have plenty of stories to tell when they met again in Paradise. 

This was enough for them to respond to Darren when he came to see them next, and the two ended up bawling on the floor. Darren because he felt guilty about Gavnur’s death, and Arrow mourning him and reassuring him it wasn’t his fault. They had Seen that future, and knew it was unchangeable. Larten comes to find them there later, with Arrow holding Darren as Gavnur had held them, and he comes to sit beside them. As Arrow grabs his cuff, he sheds a few tears for the boy he had once raised.

After this, Arrow becomes cynical, pragmatic, easily annoyed and angered, and devotedly loyal to Darren and Larten as they are the only family they have left, and they refuse to let them die. Any and all threats to them and their safety is met with severe and unprejudiced hostility. However, they become apathetic and uncaring about their own well-being, throwing themself into training and swordplay to a point that Larten has to step in. 

When Tiny comes telling of the prophecy, there is an immediate air of two opposing magnets coming near to each other. The earth shakes under their feet, the clouds clash and throw lightning that day, the air itself tastes of ozone and fire. The two recognize each other as dangerous and powerful enemies. Tiny doesn’t try to stop them from joining their crew, as he himself admits that he doesn’t even understand what they are enough to say no. 

When Vancha joins the band, the two do not hit off at the beginning. They’re disgusted with his bad hygiene and he thinks theyre a bit of a stick up the ass because of it. But, eventually, the two’s bickering becomes a thing of the past, replaced by affectionate jokes that are only sometimes at each other’s expense. Vancha bathing doesn’t hurt either.

Insert more stuff that I don’t want to type right now.

But. If you read CdF, you know what happens. And Arrow is left as a shell hellbent on killing all vampaneze, and initially fights tooth and nail against Evana’s plan to bear a half-vampire and half-vampaneze child, declaring: “IT WON’T BRING THEM BACK!” 

When Vancha grabs their arm and says, “What’s more important? Killing vampaneze, or our survival?” And in that moment, they saw their own, unchangeable future. 

They get older. They get older. They get older. And the world moves, and moves, and moves, and but they do not. Every second is an empty eternity, a lonely, torturous and slow death until they are berried where they stand, and the world is thrown into darkness and silence. 

They give no more resistance, and returns to Vampire Mountain. There, they take a vial and ask Madam Octa to bite the thin film over it and fill it with enough venom to kill a vampire.

They sit in one of the caves open to the outside, knowing Vancha will come to find them. When he does, they talk about the future, and they tell him that he has his responsibilities to tend to as the father of the future child. He asks what the vial is for, and they tell him its a sleeping potion, and that they hadn’t been sleeping well for a long time.

They make a small incision along a vein and asks him to stay while they fall asleep, because they’re scared of falling asleep alone.

“When the morning comes, I’ll be able to breathe again.”

He starts to ask what they mean, but they put the venom in their mouth before putting their lips to the cut and shooting the venom into their blood.

The world is black and silent.

i think hes a poet! when he writes hes very cynical and HEAVY on the metaphors. his style isnt exactly Smooth and Flowy either there’s a lot of spots where it just gets rough. if it were a texture itd be like. slush. when he’s in captivity he does a lot of reading and literature analysis. this post sponsored by my special interest in poetry

iirc in the udg artbook theres a note on his design page that says he was loyal to “the brothers” (as opposed to just mondo) which means 1) he knew daiya and was His bodyguard too and they were just as close (which. considering takemichi was the most important person to mondo outside of hopes peak. is Pretty Close) and 2) he and mondo have known each other for YEARS. timelinewise if im doing my math correctly the latest daiya could have died would be Mondo’s first year of high school (though im willing to bet it was earlier just kinda based on how he talks about him and his death ingame, which, in his memory, would have been just a few months beforehand). considering takemichi is Also stated to be 1 year younger than mondo then the earliest they could have met was during mondos last year of middle school. i choose to believe they met in his second year tho. just 4 fun

also irt to all that i DO believe in the daiya takemichi father son dynamic so much. i usually write takemichi as being a foster kid with not the best guardians? so he stays with the oowadas more nights than not. and daiya cares about him so much. michi and daiya r both trans and my evidence is i want them to be and daiya calls takemichi little man All the Time

because takemichi is tiny and not intimidating i imagine that he met the oowadas and THEN joined the gang later, not the other way around. he met mondo in middle school and they got in a fight and when daiya came to pick mondo up and saw this kid with hair he clearly cut himself saying that his guardians werent gonna show up and he’d like to start walking before it got dark he was like. uh oh. sonboy. new sonboy.

later when daiya’s old bodyguard had to move away michi was like. ill bodyguard. i can fight. and daiya was Not for it. so takemichi decided to start working out to prove he could do it and, along with getting his hands on every book and video on proper technique he could, he joined a forum. and i KNOW theres no basis in canon for this but kenshiro and yuta r also on the forum to talk abt mma and hokuto shinken/ track and field respectively and they become internet friends. i just think itd be neat

obviously im big on takemichi and takaaki teaming up in towa (i usually call this dynamic notdad bc like. takaaki would obviously be so hesitant to be a father again for so long but theyre absolutely family). in some tls takaaki finds out the results of the killing game while in towa and hides it from takemichi. sometimes they find out together. sometimes they find out after the future foundation rescues them. depends

SPEAKING OF FUTURE FOUNDATION. all the captives (minus. yuta and komaru.) work there after the events of udg. ive never seen the dr3 anime and i dont plan on it im right

takaaki and takemichi share an apartment (because. again. family) until takaaki marries hiroko. takaaki ends up legally adopting takemichi so hiro and him ARE brothers (plus one kid that takaaki and hiroko have together. three of them)

all the captives (plus aoi and hiro) are pretty close postgame. ayaka will take any opportunity to be a big sister to takemichi (this usually means lighthearted bullying and stealing his poetry notebooks) and takemichi and fujiko are absolutely siblings. (sidenote i think itd be nice if fujiko got into pottery making. making manga was something she used to do with her little brother and it gets hard to do for a while but shes still creative at heart! so she makes bowls and little sculptures and stuff. she tries to throw out the ones that turn out wrong but takemichi always snags them so theres a shelf in his kitchen full of lumpy and discolored pottery)

bonus round -takemichi is 5′2″ -his birthday is february 29 -he has bpd -his favorite color is lavender -his singing voice sounds a lot like keaton henson -he calls fujiko “jiko” -the son he adopts is named genki and he calls him monkeybread or little guy and genki calls him daddo (it’s like kiddo but dad) -hes always and forever ashamed in his taste in music (its mostly bad indie folk punk stuff) -he has accidentally called daiya dad on several occasions but daiya just laughed and went with it -he accidentally called takaaki dad once and takaaki got quiet and upset so takemichi didnt do it again until a good few years after he was officially adopted -he accidentally called takaaki daiya once and Broke Down -he calls hiroko mom on purpose all the time -more than once daiya and mondo auctioned off a date with him to his fanclub and didnt tell him until the day of

As much as I hated to admit it I was kind of glad to be back, deep, in the Midwest for a day or two. It happened to be the hottest day of summer and we also just happened to be going to a water park for the day. I was beyond excited. I hadn't been to a water park since moving to wilkes barre and that was years ago. When the bus pulled into the parking lot I was practically running to get inside the park, swim suit and towel in hand. The guys just didn't understand. As soon as I hit the ground outside the bus I was already sweaty, I could tell they all were too. but it was almost worth it.

"Come on guys, don't look so disappointed."

I joked, Vinny raising his hand to cover his eyes from the sun.

"I get you're excited but Did we have to do this on a 110° day though?"

I shook my head at him, walking backwards through the parking lot.

"Just wait, as soon as we get in and changed we'll be cool in no time."

Ricky smiled at me.

"Let's hope you're right."

I nodded.

"That's the spirit!"

When we got to the gate we each got a ticket and walked through the turnstiles. The locker rooms were right inside and I turned to look at them all as they followed me in.

"Wanna get changed and meet here or are we doing this separately today?"

I asked, looking between them all. A few shrugged.

"Whatever works, I'm sure we all probably wanna do different things. As long as we are back here by five to go we'll be good."

I nodded.

"Got it, well then I guess I'll see some of you around. I'm gonna go change. If anyone wants to mat-race meet me here after you've got your suit on."

I said with a wink.

"You're on."

Justin said, Chris nodding in agreement.

"Oh yeah, I'd like to get in on that action. Both of you are going down."

he said a little cocky. A few of the other guys just shook their heads and walked into the locker room. I did the same on the other side of the building, getting changed and rinsed quickly so I could get this day started. When I walked back out, towel in hand I frowned.

"Why the long face?"

Ryan asked, coming up beside me, making me jump.

"Jesus ry, kill a girl why don't'cha."

He laughed at me, leaning against the concrete wall behind us.

"Just making life a little more interesting."

I sent him a look before looking to the sky. A breeze was starting to pick up and I was a little concerned. When Chris came out he noticed something wrong immediately, looking to the sky too. He nudged me

"Hey y/n, how's the weather?"

He asked, looking to me to see if that's what was wrong. I sent him a smirk.

"Aren't we supposed to ask you that? You're the tall one after all."

He sent me a look as Justin came out to join us. I watched as he tossed his beach towel over his shoulders.

"You know what I meant. You always say you know when it's gonna rain."

I looked back to the sky, and inhaled deeply.

"yes, yes I can."

He looked at me expectantly.

"Was it supposed to rain today?"

A few of the others shrugged, so did I.

"I don't think so but I Give it two hours."

I said looking around at the team. They all nodded.

"Let's get to it then."

Damn I hated being right. I mean, don't get me wrong, it had its perks but still. I wish this one time I would've been wrong. No sooner than we had entered the lazy river the sky just opened up. It had begun pouring down rain with little to no remorse. It would've been fine had there not been lightning. Damn the lightning. All the lifeguards were rushing people out of the water, Chris taking my hand so he wouldn't lose me in the crowd and pulling me to the side walk. When we were under the canopy of the food shack he started to laugh. I looked at him like he was crazy.

"What's so funny?"

I asked and he shook his head.

"How often do we get a day off and it actually go as planned?"

I couldn't help laughing at the revelation too. He was right though.

"I wish it were more often than it is."

I confirmed with him and he nodded.

"You and me both."

I shook my head.

"Do you think we should find the rest of the guys?"

I asked and he shrugged.

"It's not even three yet, do you think they'd be ready to leave already?"

I frowned and thought for a second.

"I'm honestly not sure."

He looked up for a second and I followed his gaze. Across the concrete slab was Ryan and aj standing under a beach umbrella, laughing with each other. Well I guess that sort of answered that question.

"they look like theyre gonna wait it out."

i said, laughing a little to myself, chris' gaze following my own.

"i guess youre right."

i looked up to him and drew my brows as i saw him look around, then he turned and left me.

"chris?"

i asked, following him to the food counter.

"would any of you happen to know how long this is supposed to last?"

he asked and the girl working the counter shrugged, looking to the other girl behind her.

"weatherman says it could get worse, it is tornado season after all. there isnt an official watch yet but that could change."

he nodded slowly.

"thanks."

he said, tapping the counter and turning to me with a wide smile across his face.

"dont give me that look."

i said. i knew exactly what he was thinking.

"oh come on, we could get everyone on the bus and go to the movies or something."

i couldnt help laughing a little at him.

"we were supposed to have a fun waterpark day."

i said as we made our way back over to the canopy.

"and we did, but the weather said its over."

i sighed, looking back over to where ryan and aj were and watching them approach us. i looked back to chris.

"fine, but only because they dont think its gonna get better any time soon."

he fist pumped the air.

"yes!"

"whats so exciting?"

aj asked, shaking his hair out like a dog as they joined us under the canopy. it was still pouring and was getting harder to hear over the rain hitting the roof.

"they said its not gonna stop any time soon, so what do you guys think of heading back to the bus and going to the movies or something?"

chris asked expectantly and they both shrugged, side nodding at the suggestion.

"do you think the other guys would be down with that?"

ryan asked. chris looked very hopeful, he didnt want to be here in the first place so going somewhere dry, dark, and requiring you to be fully clothed was definitely on his agenda.

"a guy can hope."

he said, elated.

"only one way to find out though. lets see if we can find the rest of them or at least head back to the locker rooms. if anything its a storm shelter so we'll be safe there either way."

the three of them nodded and we headed that way, each of us squinting and blinking quickly as the rush of rain came over us. when we hit the front of the park again the rest of the crew were there under the rooftop of the building, talking amongst themselves.

"look, guess we got lucky today after all."

i said as we reached them. vinny frowned at me.

"hey y/n, sorry about the weather but i guess you cant always win a day off huh."

i laughed a little bit.

"hey i got my two hours to shine, but there is a certain someone in our group that was wondering if, since this isnt supposed to let up anytime soon, if you guys wanted to load up and go see a movie or something nearby."

they all looked to chris as he nodded frantically.

"thoughts?"

he asked excited and a few of them laughed.

"i think we could swing that."

logan said, chris looking to me with a wide smile on his face.

"great, lets get changed then and get out of here."

he said, making us all laugh again, watching him walk into the locker room. i shook my head.

"so its settled then. ill go get changed and meet you guys back out here to leave."

they all nodded.

"i guess that means we have to agree on a movie now."

rick said in defeat and i couldnt help laughing to myself.

"doesnt it always?"

i said, sending him a look as i walked backwards to the door. he shook his head, smiling at me.

i have been meaning to say this for awhile but never really got the chance to but ive seen a couple of anon asks here that says you were ~dragging~ the angst for way too long and that it’s been getting annoying how reader seems like she’s not getting past her insecurities especially towards her sister

so let me just say this; regarding the angst, to be honest with you it wasn’t dragged on at all. in fact, i think a year is too fast for them to move forward. granted, the catalyst was the realisation that atsumu is losing reader. for real this time. he’s realising that he cannot subconsciously keep on keeping an eye on her or still have her by his side along his brother.

onto the reader, i don’t know what you guys are reading but all throughout the series which has literally more than 200 pages (ebook style) i can be sure that it’s less than a page wherein reader’s insecurity for mika has been really outwardly mentioned. as for her insecurities in general, that much is a given. no, it doesn’t matter if she’s a teenager who is trying her best not to have her emotions rule her.

this ones deeper than that. y’all gotta realise that everyone around reader (sans her family) has always made her feel invisible and lesser than. it doesn’t matter where they are or who they’re with. she’s always labelled as someone who’s just never enough compared to both her sister and her younger brother even. ever since they were kids. does anyone realise how damaging that is to anyone’s psyche? or is it just me??? it was always drilled into her mind that what she’s good at is studying, lol. and she doesn’t even believe that that’s like... a super strength to her character. she just thought that she just happened to be good at it, nothing special. now, the incident happened and she heard from her very first love. that she’s got nothing going on for her except her brain. LITERALLY in front of her. mind you, this is the same person who’s always made her feel seen and had always made her feel like she belongs. then realising that he, too, thought that she’s really just plain and boring? well, isn’t that something? plus, her trust being broken way too many times. even by people who she gave everything to.

all of these factors, plus others combined. i’d say you handled this very realistically. in fact, there were many instances where reader feels as though she’s enough and what she’s doing is enough but of course, in the journey of loving and accepting yourself, there’s always going to be setbacks. people making you feel small and boring ever since you were a kid, reader will always have that nagging feeling of insecurity in the back of her mind.

even when atsumu started treating her like theyre buddy buddy without ever apologising and her thinking that ‘this is enough’ she still had her reservations and doubts. as she should! what would y’all feel if someone who’s took every opportunity to hurt you again and again. to humiliate you. to trample over your feelings as if they’re nothing. started to act as if that rift between the two of you never happened? and her knowing that no matter what happens from this point onwards, atsumu and her will never go back to the way they once were? whewwww

it makes reader human. the way she acts and the way she’s processing things right now, makes her all the more human. she might be strong and she might present herself to be that type to never be knocked down by anything but she’s got her limits too. she’s got her bad days too. and sometimes, no matter how much you convince yourself that you’re getting better, that nagging feeling of dark thoughts will still linger in the back of your mind. that’s how it goes. because loving and accepting yourself is not just all about forgetting everything that knocks you down, it’s also getting up whenever those bad thoughts and days seem to be getting better of you. and that’s what reader has been doing all this time.

she deserves all those little factors that made her the way she is all throughout this series. because it couldn’t be more realistic to have all the what-ifs, what couldve been, what could be, etc be placed and scattered throughout her healing(???) process.

im p sure i missed a lot of points to say but id say this is still a pretty good and convincing thought LMAOO - 🎨

to be honest, i was also pissed, but had to step back. as mentioned before, this story has a bit of me - because they were my experiences growing up, getting so used to either being invisible, the second fiddle, or as the inferior sibling. it's numb me to the point that i've become so pessimistic and cynical.

nonetheless, i have to respect that everyone is each to their own opinion. yet at the same time, it's not fair to disregard the fact that there are people like reader who have a high threshold for pain, saint-like presence, or are just plain masochists.

as for the angst, this is exactly the kind of angst i really like reading - where you really see glimpse of what a certain pain can do to someone, emotionally and psychologically. yes, i do love the 'they don't love me back' trope, but on a deeper level? that's just *chef's kiss* nothing hurts more if you actually get to feel what they're feeling, which is why i chose to write my angst that way :>

okay basically i’ll do a summary in case y’all dont wanna read his SAD story. tw: domestic abuse, abandonment, alcohol abuse. 

Summary: ARES BYERS, 23, SENIOR.

A finance major at LexU.

He’s currently doing both soccer and boxing, but soccer would be for his athletic scholarship. ( he has a full ride )

Boxing would definitely be like more of an anger relief thing and honestly, he defs loves soccer but he knows he can’t rely on that for a forever thing. plus he defs things boxing is good money, yknow that side hustle illegal shit

Loves art like a lot.

 He visits his siblings probably every other day or whenever he can because he really is so protective of them or he’d even bring them to campus all the time even though his “ step dad” hates it.

His relationship with his mum is still super strained because she really is in denial about her toxic abusive situation with his “step dad”  and hes trying to tell her hes going to get her out and she just does not want to.

His mum is an alcoholic and his stepdad is physically abusive to them like most of her past partners which is something ares has been dealing with since he was a child.

hes solely doing finance to get a good job to get his mum and siblings out of the situation theyre in now.

he wants sole custody of his 3 siblings but i mean, he needs a stable job and place to live aka finance

 has 3 younger sisters who he adores.

HISTORY STUFF ( YIKES SOZ ) Its long everybody.

 He was born to teenage parents who hadn’t even graduated high school yet. They had a pretty tumultuous situation and his dad really didn’t think they should have a kid, but his mum thought that it would bring them closer together and make his dad mature…. Which definitely didn’t end up happening.

once Ares was born his dad stuck around for about a year or two before basically abandoning them and offering to give up parental rights to his mum Alycia.

That’s when things basically just went downhill. It really messed with his mum, obviously she was supporting ares on her own with no support from anyone, no family and very little money, at the time she had been trying to go to school but had to give that up once she was the sole provider for Ares. And the fact that someone she thought was going to be her partner abandoned her just led her down a pretty dark path.

It was just his mum and him after this. There wasn’t a lot of stability for them. His mum for a while was the only family he had. his grandma wasn’t really very supportive of his mum having the baby and living with his dad etc and they’re relationship was quite strained too.

• By the time Ares was about 12 he was already probably mature beyond his years, his mum by then had basically gave herself up to alcohol and had some pretty bad shady boyfriends in the house. Ares would definitely still vividly remember like explosive fights between her and boyfriends where things got physical between them and even to Ares from multiple different boyfriends.

His schooling was just.. a mess he definitely repeated a grade or two because of the commotion of home life.

Regardless though he was still VERY protective of his mum even if he felt pretty abandoned by her, he was just confused why she was letting these people come around when they were better on just the two of them. But that really didn’t last long, his mum ended up having multiple other kids with different people.

 So he has Maeva, Orion and Lea who are his half siblings and theyre all under 12.

I  think he definitely grew up faster than most because he always felt an urge to protect his mum and his siblings now especially. he worried about them all. He was definitely an anxious kid.

• His mum ended up marrying but honestly Ares couldn’t hate his stepfather more. He would refuse and still does refuse to call him dad or stepdad because he truly thinks he’s a piece of shit. Like he knows he treats his mum like shit and hes had no problem being physical with the both of them and once ares got old enough he really did start fighting back which only made it worse.

There’s probably been multiple times where its been ares calling the police on him after he fought with his mum but as usual his mum always takes his side which honestly fucked ares up constantly but eventually as soon as he could he was working even at like 13/14 because he was desperate to save money thinking he could help his family get out of the fucking mess they were in.

 His number one priority is and will always be his mum and his sisters even though deep down I think he has some kind of resentment towards his mum he’ll always love her. He just wishes that she would take his side especially against his “ step dad”

Basically though once he was about that age he realised he really needed to start focusing on school, grades and sport anything he could so he had some kind of chance to get into a good uni and get his family out of everything. Like he knew he’d need somewhere he could get a full ride since theyd never be able to afford it and somewhere still nearby so he could look after his sisters still.

 His stepdad knew though that ares was working even when he wasn’t supposed to be and he really took advantage of that, he was definitely beyond lazy and ares basically always felt more of a parent to his sister than anyone else.

 So basically he ended up graduating – late however he was 19 when he graduated high school because of repeats and luckily enough he got a full ride to Lexington university and he really took it within a heartbeat. He ended up choosing finance not because its anything he’s interested in but because he wanted something that would pay really well so he can support his family, but he knew he didn’t have 8 years to do medical school etc.

Personality:

 he can have a shitty attitude won’t lie, like he’s very focused and set on what he wants and needs to do and he wants no one getting in the way of that.

He’s super into boxing to release a lot of the pent up anger he obviously feels and really because he wanted to know how to fight back all the assholes his mum had in his life.

He is can be extroverted and talkative but I think with the people who aren’t close to him or to people he doesn’t have a real trust in it’s probably a pretty surface level. Its never about his family or past in fact I think that part would be something very few if any people know about.

his sisters aka his pride and joy, he probs has pictures of them in his wallet.

He likes to keep things light hearted as a distraction from himself but he definitely doesn’t let people in easily.

He really tries to avoid confrontation because it’s so triggering to him but he does have a temper which is what scares him. He is like paranoid he’s going to become a product of his environment so he goes against that as much as he can but if people come for his family or anything he would lose it.

Can be aloof.

 Has a hard time trusting anyone has good motives or will stick around because of much he’s been abandoned and how manipulative the people in his mums were.

He’s cynical.

 He really holds onto grudges pretty easily.

His ass is pretty sarcastic and witty, a huge smart ass.

 He’s not into commitment right now or he’s avoiding. Like the only examples he’s ever seen of relationships have been a mess and it’s not exactly his priority. ( but lbr  whats the fun in that. )

 He tries to abstain from alcohol but he finds that pretty hard. When he does he tends to drink pretty heavily which is why he tries not to because he knows it obviously has caused his mum so much grief.

 Hes an escapist.

 He’s really super protective though, of the people he does have in his life I think he really wants to give those people the things he didn’t have so he overcompensates and would literally fight whatever or whoever for the people around him.

he hates authority.

•He definitely is really big into art but that’s also something really personal he doesn’t share much and he knows like that isn’t going to provide for his family which is exactly why he's done finance.
