fanworks creators self rec! when you get this, reply with your favourite five fanworks you’ve made, then pass on to at least five other creators 💗
Oh god oh god okay, I forgot how many things I've posted... Dunno how I narrowed this down to 5, but here we go ->
(thank you for the ask! 💗)
no particular order because this was hard enough without specifying an absolute fave
to soften the hardest touch - Pero/Fem!Reader, co-written with @yours-truly-r (smutty)
Pero and William seek shelter for the winter - where’s better than a brothel in a small town? They want food and warmth, but Pero gets a lot more…
Reconciliation - Dave/Fem!Reader (smutty)
Kinktober 2021 day 4 (knife play)
Delay - Geralt/AFAB!Reader (smutty)
Kinktober 2021 day 24 (vanilla sex). This will always be a favourite because of the effect cottagecore!Geralt had on @uncle-kenobi
Somebody Hug Him - Steven Grant art
Grumpy Witcher - Lambert art

I love the puppetry and costuming of the monsters in What We Do in the Shadows. it reminds me sm of old episodes of Star Trek or the original Star Wars trilogy. it’s just so cool and spooky.

writing a kalluzeb fic (bc gays in space <333) and I'm making myself cackle bc yeah, kallus is having an existential crisis but there are ewoks dancing like a few steps away. it's so silly i love it. imagine processing all that loss and these little dudes are just encouraging everyone to get hammered and have a dance party. love those stinkers

I think one of the things that's been so dope about Ahsoka (especially the most recent episode) is that it's getting back to Star Wars' roots: giving us weird little aliens that are either unreasonably adorable or absolute freaks

Ok I have another Snippet for the KenUno Mandalorian!AU
@p-riama @girlwiththepapatattoo @sister-cna-reader
I’m so deeply invested in this, I am a lost cause, just abandon me here. I did Ewok/Endor research for this (it’s been a hot minute since I watched Return of the Jedi); I’m in deep.
Also, the mental image of Zaraki talking to tiny little alien creatures is so funny to me; I think small creatures gravitate to him. If Yachiru is not present, another child-sized being is sure to follow and make up for her absence.
———————————
No answer still. But behind him to his right, there’s a rustle in the brush. He swiftly turns around and points his blaster at the source of the sound; only to be met with a tiny, bear-like creature. It has brown fur and is wearing a small cloth shawl on its little head; in its hand, a long stick, the tip sharpened to a point. A makeshift spear.
Zaraki quickly holsters his blaster, “Hey, hey, have you seen a little girl? Pink hair, about your height.”
The small creature tilts its head in confusion.
“Guess ya don’t speak basic, huh?”
It ignored Zaraki entirely.
“Uno.” He patches in to his comm channel.
“Copy.”
“Didn’t find Yachiru, but there’s another life form down here with me.”
“What? I thought the planet was uninhabited. What does it look like?”
“Uh, like an Ewok, actually. I thought they only live on Endor though…”
While he continues briefly describing the small creature she comes to a realization.
“That is an Ewok. I think the navigation computer messed up the coordinates again.”
The Ewok makes a hand motion to him; like it wants him to follow, then it starts to walk away. He gets the hint and begins to follow.
He sighs, “We need to update the damn nav computer; this is the second time now that it’s brought us to the wrong place. Meet me on foot, fuzz ball is leading me somewhere; hopefully to Yachiru.”
And he follows the Ewok, listening to it speak in Ewokese as it wanders on, either chanting or talking to itself. He isn’t sure if it even understands that he can’t fathom what it’s saying.

if you're a star wars fan looking for a good holiday book, I highly recommend Star Wars: Life Day Treasury by George Mann and Cavan Scott
it's a bunch of short holiday-related stories from across the galaxy, fantastically written, and paired with some seriously beautiful paintings/illustrations. I picked it up yesterday and am a little over halfway through it! It is a kids book, but definitely do not let that stop you from giving it a try because it's fantastic
