hello can u talk about the lyrics of this promare song koori ni tojikomete, is this for real galos feelings for lio?? i’m —
yes it for real is, galo is in love with him and the song implies the feelings mutual! i love getting asks abt this song bc it rly is such a fun surprise to learn the story behind it and that it was written with the purpose of being a love letter from galo to lio, and superfly does not try to obscure that or make it a ‘well, if you want it to be you can’ she just says It Is.
i talked abt it recently with this post and went over the lyrics, talking abt what the lyrics r conveying to me, and i would definitely suggest reading that bc i go over much of the same thing as this ask! but one thing i dont think i emphasized enough with that post is how sweet the song is specifically bc its galo saying he will wait however long it takes for lio bc he understands lio’s instinct is to run away from weird or confusing or hard feelings, but galo says things like “i will embrace both your lies and your truths” which feels to me like he’s saying he’ll accept ALL of lio and that lio has nothing to worry about with him.. its galo so of course galo is not going to judge him, he loves him! even the parts of lio that lio thinks are unloveable.
the song’s from galo’s pov so it’s very intense, passionate, dramatic, but also really sweet and genuine and not obscuring anything, he’s just... putting his feelings out there and telling lio he loves him and he’ll be there for him (*reference to inferno lyrics here*) and that he hopes that’s okay... and saying his own feelings are pretty strong and difficult for him to deal with but he’ll do it to make sure lio is comfortable and safe and happy
but like i said in the other post, the song does imply galo knows lio feels the same way about him (the whole premise of the song supports this, ‘i know you went through a lot so i’ll be here for you when you’re ready, just know i love you) and lines like “our love will endure” and the last lines about galo ‘waiting for him’ as long as it takes
this song is just.. its really good its SO much and really sweet. one of the most underrated promare songs for sure (if they had added an official english translation of lyrics to the movie people would probably talk abt it more lol, since it takes looking it up and being like wait WHAT to know what its about if u dont know japanese lol! fun surprise)
OP saturation gives me life and i would like to recommend a song: koori ni tojikomete by superfly but viewed as phoenix's POV? idk this sounds dumb but i like the translated lyrics when applied to narumitsu :)
1) Thank-you so much! ^///^
2) Actually, taking a look at the lyrics, yeah, this does sound like a good original trilogy Narumitsu! Also, lovely song - not the style I tend to go for (I tend to gravitate towards rather bouncy music), but beautiful singing and music!

I’m obsessed with the two lines that reference each other in Nexus and Inferno!!! “Never see the sun” in Nexus and “Though you can’t see the sun, a new day has begun” in Inferno. I’m reasonably sure it has to do with Lio’s pessimism and Galo’s optimism contrasting with each other but I’m just like!!! Their songs reference each other! Gay!!! (They’re already really gay, but still.)
Nexus is a Lio song i believe and Inferno is a Galo song but both are about eachother and Inferno is two people singing to eachother and the lines really match up with Galo and Lio. Its 100% on purpose! All of it!
The music in Promare is literally and expansion on the movie and are love letters to eachother.
I mean like
-motions to Superfly's koori ni tojikomete and how the singer herself says it is in fact a literal love song that was written from Galo's point of view about how he loves Lio-
