Pov: you've been raised to belive that the moment you become 16 your deemed f*able so you have to pretend your 12 and where a chastity bracelet all while simultaneously exploiting yourself on stage. Oh and there's this anoying dude with nice guy syndrome following you around and awkwardly fawning over you hes also your dad's apprentice (whos a drunken asswhole who hides important information from you) suddenly this cool and charismatic theatre kid with memory loss joins your theatre group and makes everything awsome! For some reason the nice guy played by Andrew Garfield hates him wonder why? Anyway turns out the reason why your dad is a weirdo is because hes selling you to the devil the moment you turn 16. So naturally you f*k the mystery man (whos age is conveniently conspicuous despite clearly being like 40 max) and find out that hes actually a really terrible person like the SCUM OF THE EARTH. So you pick the less of 2 evils and just give into the devil exept your dad made a deal with him AGAIN and now your free to be with Andrew Garfield i mean mediocre man number 2

Production was halted by the tragic death of Heath Ledger on 22 January 2008.
Actors Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, and Jude Law were cast into Ledger's character in certain scenes, portraying the new idea of transformed versions of the character travelling through magical realms. Ledger's footage would remain in the film

Heath Ledger was never able to finish his last movie, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, because of his premature death and as a result director Terry Gilliam had to find a replacement in order to finish the project. He managed to find three actors, Jude Law, Johnny Depp, and Colin Farrell, who were so heartbroken by the young actor's death that they donated their wages from the film to Heath’s young daughter (with Michelle Williams) Matilda, who was not mentioned in his will, as it was written before she was born.
Colin’s a loveable rogue with a ponytail 🥰

How I realized I had face blindness:
Heath Ledger tragically died while "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" was still being recorded, so they recasted him and they made the change in appearance a part of the plot, which is a really good way to deal with a bad situation, but I was completely baffled
"What do they mean he looks different?" I thought to myself while watching the movie. "Why does everyone act so weird when they see him again?"
I was CONFUSED
