Approval and devnotes for Astarion act 3 (spawns, bloodmerchant, pre-Cazador)
I will check here only act 3-Astarion related quests, pre the final confrontation. I just wanted to see if there was anything interesting, and I will do confrontation and the two paths later on.
Act 1 is here, act 2 here. Keep in mind that for act 1 and act 2 I just checked some interesting and surprising approvals. My plan was to do the same for act 3 and I am, but I stumbled upon some devnotes so for act 3 I will check both!
SPAWNS (at tavern)
There is not too much about the tavern meet up with Dalyria and Petras regarding approval but there are some interesting notes. In particular, if the player agrees to help Astarion complete the ritual:
Astarion will say "You're a true friend" but think "lol, sucker". This is ONLY for non Astarion romance.
Another note that really clarifies what ascended Astarion will be:
The notes for the player asking him about who will really get the power are:
"Yes, technically only I will ascend" -> "Well yes TECHNICALLY only I will have the power"
"We're a team, if I become powerful then we become powerful" -> "emphasis on I and we as if speaking to a child"
"You're still with me?" -> "testing the player's loyalty"
BLOODMERCHANT (act 3): spawn vs ascended
First of all, I never allow Astarion to drink from her, but if you do, when he sees her he will comment that:
Which is pretty hearbreaking.
There is also the chance to meet her after Cazador, which changes Astarion's dialogue if he becomes the vampire lord. If the player talks about Astarion's feelings and how Araj made him feel last time, Ascended Astarion will reply "I appreciate the thought, but I am not the person I was the last time we met", vs the non ascended Astarion who says "I appreciate the thought, truly". Furthermore, Ascended Astarion will remarks on how NOW the player belongs to him, while last time Araj thought Astarion was basically the player's slave:
After this, the player can remark that maybe they should leave if Astarion is uncomfortable, and again you get different answers based on previous events:
Highlighted spawn Astarion says that she doesn't bother him, he pities her. In blue there is ascended Astarion (after that he says that they can leave her in a ditch), in red if you make him drink her blood he remarks about how NOW the player cares about him (the notes says that he is annoyed at the player), and the last one "Let's just get this over with" is for pre-Cazador Astarion.
If you made Astarion drink her blood, you will end up breaking up with him (or if you don't make him drink, but then you force him into sleeping with you). In this case the player can even accuse Araj:
Very proud of Astarion remarking on how "You mostly ruined it all by yourself".
Interestingly, the comment of Astarion worrying for the player, saying that the only think she can offer is pain is only said if Astarion did not ascend:
I suppose this is because ascended Astarion cares too much about power.
SPAWNS (attacking at night)
When Astarion comments that you are the only one and no one else looked out for him (post attack dialogue) it looks like this option is dependent on the blood merchant scene. I wonder if you get the confession and you do not visit the merchant, if this happens:
Interestingly, all the answers also get approval ("The world can be a kind place"/"There are many others who will care for you"/"I am rather special").
I also love that Astarion does EVERYTHING he can in this convo to differentiate himself and the player from everyone else. So he thinks the player is the only kind thing in the world (kind to him), no one else is like them. He refuses to admit that he is like the other spawns, "WE are better" (him and the player character). In this conversation there is a whole branch about him justifying killing his siblings because they are just spawn, and the player can basically call him out, telling him that in turn, what does his life mean, as he is just like them.
Ascended-Astarion-oriented talk is in general focused on the "me" =/= "them". He does see himself in the other victims but he refuses to address it.
A bit about a note: when you ask Astarion if he is really letting his siblings die, Astarion replies with "don't look at me like that disappointed" and the note is:

I am also playing through act 3 now, so if I see any interesting approval I will add it too.
Btw, the Yenna thing is actually... every companion approve of giving her food or money, even Minthara.

One of the many things that destroys me about the song Ruin is the way it parallels so many other songs from all the various albums.
We have bricks and stones echoing the bricks and stones in Wild Blue Yonder. We have the wallpaper like in Two Minutes. We have “I wish that I’d been brave” like the “people just pretending to be brave” in Little Miss Why So. We have “I’ll sing silence” like in Drinking Song. There are metaphors of fire throughout The Amazing Devil’s songs in everything from Secret Worlds to New York Torch Song to Wild Blue Yonder, making the “wreck of all we’ve burnt” even more poigniant. The piano itself echoes that in Two Minutes and Farewell Wanderlust.
Perhaps there is no particular significance to this. Perhaps it says something about the nature of relationships and of life that so many different stories could be seen as prologues to Ruin, to this story of hearbreak and heart-building. Regardless, it makes me emotional every time.

Now that I think about it, conjoined Emmet and Ingo are kind of the opposite of the song Evelyn Evelyn. In the end of the song they sing about how much they can't listen to each other anymore and wish they weren't conjoined, whereas Ingo and Emmet are suffering from their separation.
Two hearbreaking stories about the same condition but viewed from twins with different opinions.
Yeah, they are pretty much opposites!! Ingo and Emmet were happy as they were and are much less so now :(
But hey at least they're getting a good ending to their story!

Even if the world isn’t ending, his is certainly tumbling down as he takes you in a realises he never stopped loving you.

No one expected Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin to settle down, especially not the rest of dagger who saw his flirtations first hand, so when he brings his wife to the Hard Deck chaos absolutely ensues.

Falling in love with Jake Seresin again was like coming home, it was a feeling of safety, or warmth, of a missing puzzle piece finally sliding into place. it was the feeling of becoming whole once again.

Scratch McGee Character Analysis (Season 1)
Scratch is one of the two main protagonists from The Ghost and Molly McGee, along with Molly Mcgee. During the first episode ¨The Curse¨, Scratch puts a curse on Molly that ends up backfiring, making him follow the girl wherever she goes. This curse got broken after the events of ¨Home is Where the Haunt Is¨.
In comparison to Molly, Scratch is cynical, rude, inconsiderate and a pesimist. He can be selfish at times, not caring how his actions may impact others. He is grouchy and has a bad temper.
Over the course of Season 1, some parts of his behaviour start to change and starts to imitate Molly’s vision of the world. He starts to care about others and to show a friendler side of him.
Scratch starts the series as someone who expresses to not be interested in friendships and only looks for himself. He rejects Molly’s and others affection by pushing them away and scaring them. He would prefer the Mcgee family to leave the house so he can have it for his own again.
In spite of his cold attitude, Scratch deep down feels very lonely. According to the series bible he didn’t have anyone else before meeting the McGees and most of the ghosts in the Ghost World, except for Geoff, didn’t want him around.
Fearing rejection and hearbreak, Scratch avoided opening up to others, not having more than superficial friendships.
It’s unknown where this fear of opening up to others comes from. It propably has to do with an important event that took place when he was still human given how he feels like his life when he was alive wasn’t much different from the one he has as ghost. Unfortunately, Scratch remembers very little of his human life, only having fuzzy memories about it.
Scratch is very insecure about himself. He is self conscious about his low status in the Ghost World to the point he tried lying about it to Molly in the first episodes. Despite denying it, he cares a lot about what others think of him. One example of this is in ¨Not So Honest Abe¨ when he lied to Molly about Abraham Lincoln being his friend and got her in trouble because of that.
He has also shown to be afraid of loosing his friends for other people. In ¨Friend-Off¨ he was rude to Libby and mocked her because he was jealous of her friendship with Molly. He feared that Molly would start hanging out more Libby rather than with him. It’s likely this came from Molly being the first friend Scratch had in a long time.
Scratch deeply cares about those he lets inside his social circle. He is very protective of them, going to great lengths to make people who hurt his close ones pay. He usually scares off kids who try making fun of Molly, such as it is the case with Andrea in some episodes and Tammy in ¨The Unnatural¨.
Scratch sympathizes with characters who get pushed around since he has been put through that situation many times in the Ghost World. He freed Libby from her outcast status in ¨First Day Frights¨ and stopped making Molly look bad in front of her peers when she was called ¨the worst of the worst¨.
While at first Scratch is very reluctant about getting hugged, he is seen hugging Molly and the rest of the Mcgees later in Season 1. There are ocassions he tries squeezing himself in the middle of group hugs. He seems to prefer putting his arm around a person’s shoulder to show affection or leaning on them.
What’s more is that he had a weird concept of how family works before meeting the McGees, things such as helping with house chores and other responsibilities that comes with it. (Game Night). However, in "Home is Where the Haunt Is¨ he is seen taking charge of cleaning the house while the rest of the family is busy saving money.
Scratch went from looking out only for himself to becoming part of the Mcgees in the long run. There has been multiple instances of him admitting that he considers them his familly. In "Home is Where the Haunt Is¨ he told Candance about him feeling miserable and lonely living the house on his own and how the Mcgees made ¨the house a home.¨
On his relationship with the Ghost Council, Scratch avoided telling Molly about the poor treatment he received from his superiors. He was usually pushed around, made fun of and forced to keep Brighton miserable even if this put him in trouble with Molly who was trying to make the town a happier place.
There could be multiple reasons why Scratch did this. One of them was probably to protect Molly and not getting her involved in these issues. Another one is that he wasn’t used to having people to rely on in the past, thus making him struggle to ask for help. (The Turnip Twist).
In the finale he was finally able to stand up against the Ghost Council, affirming to them that Molly is his best friend and he wasn’t going to let them change that.
Scratch struggles with being empathetic to those that don’t belong to his social circle. If he is given a position of power over someone, he may take advantage of that power and use it to abuse said person. (The Internship). This poor behaviour is likely that comes from him having terrible bosses, leading him to repeat the same treatment on others.
He also has criminal tendencies. He is seen stealing things in some episodes, like when he robbed a credit union in "Getting the Band(shell) Back Together". He sometimes encourages Molly and Darryl to commit crimes and do bad things as well, showing that he can be a bad influence for both of them. (The Don’t Gooder).
On a minor note, Scratch is obsessed with food. In almost every episode he is seen eating something. It goes to the point he sang a song about how much he loves fried food in "Festival of Lights". He doesn’t appear to be selective since he sometimes eats things he finds in the garbage. He can be very dramatic when he loses the food he was looking foward to eat, making an scene when this happens. (¨Goat Your Own Way¨ and ¨A Very Hungry Ghost¨).
In conclusion, Scratch is someone who starts selfish and cold to others only to start opening up to them over time. He is one of the most complex characters in the series and one that evolves the most during Season 1. Despite all his flaws, he is trying to learn to be a better person thanks to Molly and the McGees’s influence.

How to fall for thai BL series in 3 acts (my experience):
Act 1: I'm so bored so I start looking for drama recommendations (enemies to lovers) in YouTube
Act 2: Found a thai series that catches my attention mostly because one of the leads kinda resembles japanese idol Shigeoka Daiki. Evidence here:

Act 3: Become obsessed with First Kanaphan and Khaotung Thanawat, watch their other series, meet other gmmtv actors, also become obsessed with them, also watch their other series and it becomes a neverending cycle and I still can't get out of it (not that I want to, though)
Anyway, the series that had left me quite an impression until now are these (in non particular order):
The Eclipse: obviously, but not only because of Khaotung and First insane chemistry but akkayan wholesome relationship and the sutile way the characters start to grow right in front of our eyes since episode one. There's something in the way Ayan and Akk hate each other at first because of their different ideals and values, but as they start to know each other (through their confrontations) something clicks within them and start to recognize themselves in the other one. The way Akk starts to question his beliefs and the way Ayan start to soften himself, the way he is so patient with Akk and the way they care about each other, "You are allowed to be weak, at least with me" will be forever engraved within me... who would have imagined they used to hate each other? They both have so much to learn from each other and both have the same patience to wait for the other. They are literally the cutest couple I've seen and have become my safe place. Btw, this is the series I rewatch the most lol
Not Me: a friend of mine recommended this one to me because I told her I liked First in The Eclipse so of course while watching it I started looking up for First but A SAVAGE GUN ATTHAPHAN appeared on my screen. That person really amazed me with his portraying of the twins, and become an instant favorite. The way he changed his voice, the manerisms, everything 👌. Of course this drama is 10/10 not only acting wise but plot wise and the way they manage certain social and political issues. I loved every single one of the characters of the gang, their camadery, their drive, even their individual matters were realistic and valid and we can easily relate. And yes one more time I have to mention First because here's when realized how good actor he is, this series was way before the eclipse where he was a highschool student but in not me he looked older, more confident and an entire new persona. I love him.
Theory of Love: I do not remember if I saw this one right after Not Me but oh how I suffered with Third and Khai story. From a person who loves angst, tears, hearbreaks, drama and rom-coms, Theory of Love is perfect. Starting with how the first half it's form Third's perspective and the second half from Khai's perspective, a reference from "Flipped" (Third's favorite movie) and how each one of the episodes are named after a popular rom-com movie (they're film students). I admit I saw myself a little in Third since I was in his same situation when I was in highschool (in love with our best friend) so it was SO frustrating seeing him suffering for someone who doesn't deserve a single tear and only hurts you but at least Khai proves us wrong (???) One more time I fell for Gun Atthaphan acting skills (my boy cried his tears out in this one) and Off Jumpol made me hate Khai so much until the second half. I really, reeeally love how this series is delievered and would like to buy the DVD lol.
Tonhon Chonlatee: YESSS THE INFAMOUS ONE LMAO 🙉🙈, I think it's really not necessary to mention the second hand embarrassement this series gave me at some points (the very first scene lmao and the ones that came after) and how bad some issues were handled but I would like to thank Tonhon Chonlatee for giving me a whole new perspective of the kind of actor Khaotung Thanawat is. He's so versatile. I think this was his first main role in a series ??? Chonlatee is a very shy and sweet hometown boy in love with his neighbor since childhood he has a pure heart but also knows how to stand up for himself. The contrast between Chon and confident troublemaker Ayan in The Eclipse still amazes me really. Another thing I loved about this series were the girls in Chonlatee life: his mom who always gives the best advices to his son, Pang, his best friend who deserves the title of best best friend and Miriam his roomate who was there to support him. Love them.
Moonlight Chicken: The earthmix is earthmixing (lmao I had to say that xd) Anyway, this one is love in different stages of life and we love that. Earthmix chemistry is no joke, their scenes together in ep 1 some made me melt of cuteness, other some made me 🙉🙈 There's something about them idk how to explain, they give a "mature" vibe which made them perfect for Uncle Jim and Wen. Funny how I started hating Wen because I thought he was cheating his boyfriend Alan (First my beloved again) but ended up being my fav character. About Gemini and Fourth this was also my introduction to them AND THEY WERE THE CUTEST in charge of the youth, the pure love between a deaf rich boy and a poor boy. they really are the cutest 😩💕. As for my beloved Khaotung and his character Gaipa in here, what can I say? Again he surprised me with his acting skills, he's just too good at delievering emotions. Of course First my beloved was super serious and grumpy here and I really missed his smile but he did a good job portrying alan. Love them.

perc'ahlia au where Thordak doesn't kill Elaina and burn Byorden but Elaina does fall ill. Vex and Vax, who had run away to be with her eventually write to their father for money and help. He agrees if they promise to behave this time and stay with him. They do that and stay in Syngorn and be miserable, though they eventually find some sort of jobs.
Around nine months before Whitestone would fall to the Briarwoods, the eldest de Rolo siblings and Frederick visit Syngorn. Syldor proposes marriage between Percy and Vex because marrying off half elves to humans isn't a baaad use of half-elves in Syngorn, and in return Syngorn gets some white stone and Whitestone gets some elven money and connections (or something idk). The de Rolo's are honestly fairly pleased to be able to pair someone with Percy as he was definitely the odd one.
Vex is offended. Because she didn't ask for this, and also Percy is like five years younger than her so he's sixteen and she's twenty one and she hates the idea. But Percy argues that if they get married he's been promised that he can do basically whatever he wants by his family, even leave Whitestone. Basically he and Vex agree that they will marry, move to Emon, he will study and she will bring Elaina to live with them. Vax is not happy with any of this, but Percy promises that he isn't expecting anything.
They correspond over letters and Percy and Vex begin a friendship. She think he's a dweeb, and he thinks she seems pretty cool. They mostly just talk about mundane things and Vex is pretty convinced she made the right decision.
Vex and Vax stay in Syngorn instead of leaving for the more chill Whitestone as it's closer to their mother. However, their mother gets sick and Vex and Vax are devastated and stay a while in Byorden, and Percy just isn't replying to her letters. And then they finally go back to SYngorn and learn from Syldor that Percy and the whole de Rolo family are dead from disease. Devastated by the loss of Vex's friend, with Elaina gone and nothing keeping them there, and also knowing Syldor will try all this again and neither of them wanting to go through hearbreak again, the twins leave Syngorn and don't look back.
And then because i keep going down two different avenues:
a) she meets up with Percy, realises who he is and how he isn't the dweeb who she used to know. he's changed. and because Vex has questions, they figure out his history with the Briarwoods pretty early on. Percy and Vex would probably get together soon than they did in the show, I would say around where he titles Vex in front of Syldor because that would have happened when they were married and what was that marriage? where do they stand now? So much more intense feelings early on.
or b) Vex wants to pay her respects to the de Rolo family so they slowlyyyyy make their way to Whitestone over the course of a year or something. Once there, they realise shit is fucked up and somehow manage to free Cassandra and run away with her, hoping to raise awareness of (and an army for) Whitestone and one day take revenge for Percy, not realising he's still alive, and Cass becomes a little sister to them. And then eventually they meet up and then Vex basically goes through option A but with Cassandra there.

Here we go for a new list of fanfictions recommandations, this time we will focus on Alternate Universe (Not the Official Code Geass AU lol, general AU settings xD), being either very different from the original Code Geass setting, or quite similar with some similarities o/
I'm not an avid reader of AU but some are just too good and it would be a shame to not look upon them, so just as before, hope you'll find some interesting stuff amongst those !

A Fairy Tale ; by Aenid
This one is a Cinderella version starring Kallen and Lelouch as the infamous main characters; You get to see C.C. as the fairy Godmother, Milly as the step mother and other great surprises; It's super fun, characters are very in character and it's definitely made for fun while still having some fluff, definitely a must read (like all of the recos btw xD)
House of Lamperouge ; by Blottyparchment
Ok this one is tricky cause i started amazingly, with two chapters, a great build up, an amazing environment, but it was put on hiatus after chapter 2; Now I know the author, she is an amazing girl who translated a lot of Code Geass material back in th day and I don't give up on the idea that she might continue if she is reminded of this fic, so don't hesitate to enjoy those two fabulous chapter and leave a review ! o/
Pickle Jar; by Charredfeathers
Oh how I love this work. It's a one shot, conclusive AU and it's just amazing, I can't say much without spoiling it but it's amazingly written, set up in some Victorian Era, and Lelouch and Kallen are absolutely perfect in this one. R E A D I T
Graffiti; by Charredfeathers
Yeah some authors are just too good what can I say. Charredfeathers is one of the sweetest AU i've ever read starring Lelouch and Kallen, their characters and the storu have inspired me beyond the land of imagination, and even I couldn't explain why, I think they are just totally my type of character. Once again it's a one shot with a conclusion, so enjoy !
Self destruct ; by miss.licorice
Ok big warning for this one, as it contains drug abuse, violence and stuff that might be triggering for people sensitive to this kind of stuff; It's basically an AU inspired by the story of Sid and Nancy, and if you know them, you get the general idea. Characters are full OOC on this one, and while I am not much into fics with OOC characters, the whole setting of this one is just facinating to me, so I had to include it. It's a very personnal choice and not everyone would be into it, but hey, it's my list of recos, so as long as I'm warning you I think it should be fine xD
Hearbreakers; by poison's Ivy
This one is an AU set in a very similar setting from the canon setting since it happens in Ashford; It's a sort of a game of will and secrecy between Kallen and Lelouch and if you liked their school personas (I personnally fell for them because of their school selves so xD) you should like this one
believe me, I'm lying; by piston heart
This one is not so much of an AU it's it's a reincarnation fic, so it's technically in the same reality, but later, I guess, much latter ; A really nice what it version of what would happen if two almost lovers could meet in another life, with one of them knowing remembering everything thanks to a pizza addicted witch ? It's touching, entertaining and very heartwarming, while still being kinda sad since it still follows the ending of R2.
Code Geass: Lazos de sangre; by AliceXS
This one is an authentic AU which takes the character and set them off in a very modern setting for us; exit the Brittanian empire, welcome in the world of big industries, CEO and lawyer; The fic is seemingly going on in spanish and is being slowly translated in english but the chapters we have are already a great read with plenty of great moment so a great read; Don't hesitate to read it and review o/
(personal note; did you noticed in Nunnally in Wonderland, Lelouch is actually the one dreaming ? I think it's nice that The mad hatter (Lelouch's) side kick, the march hare, is actually Kallen. Heh it comes from Lelouch pals, sorry not sorry *run away*)

I LOVE the repetition of this verse with the changes. I think it's some of my favourite lyrics of the album because it's so simple but relatable. He uses a simple object to bring up the image of the break up (walking out the door) and then uses that word again in the moment (starin' at the door) and conjuring the image of absence (you're not here anymore). You're not here anymore and you will never be here again. All of this from a stupid pair of SHOES he's insane. (And if I say: 'And all that's left of us is a cupboard full of clothes').

I wanna start writing about Hearbreak High, but I do not know where to start since its a pretty new fandom! Any suggestions? 🌼
Oooh, yes of course I’d be more than happy to suggest a few things! I’m in the same situation actually so this is going to be a helpful little brainstorming post haha
Firstly, I’d say that since we don’t have confirmation for a second season yet, speculation fics might be a good way to go. No one knows what’s going to happen next, we all want more, there’s tons of theories and ideas you could totally run away with, and I think people would really love to be introduced to any new possibilities while we wait for future seasons. Basically just write about the things you would like to see happen! It’s almost guaranteed that someone else will want it too.
If you want your work noticed then I’d go for the most popular ships, even if they’re not your cup of tea (if your writing is focused on ships anyway). Off the top of my head I would guess this is most likely to be Darren/Cash and possibly Amerie/Malakai as a runner up. I think that’s what most people are going to be looking to read, especially after the position Cash is left in at the end of season 1. Or - and honestly this is probably better advice - just write about the ships that make you happy! I think HH is a really good example of a show where you can ship anyone with pretty much anyone else and most people will be okay with it, so have fun exploring new dynamics or rewriting ones that could’ve gone differently.
Write about really common tropes. Fanfics always get slow starts with new fandoms because there’s not always a massive audience for them, but the more common tropes we write about (whether that’s coffee shop AUs, enemies to lovers, historical/magical/supernatural AUs, didn’t-know-they-were-dating, etc) the more fics there’ll be, the more inspiration other people will get, the bigger the audience for these fics will grow, and it becomes a win-win situation for everyone. Don’t be afraid to write about typical tropes because it might be cliche or someone’s already done a version of it - every fandom has to start somewhere and tropes are an excellent way to get the ball rolling.
I sort of touched on this already but I want to go into more detail with it - explore dynamics and relationships that we haven’t seen very much of yet. Personally I love thinking about Spider’s interactions with the other characters and how they could develop. I think other interesting dynamics to explore are ones like Harper and Quinni, Malakai and Ant, the history between Sasha and Missy, Malakai and Jai, Dusty and Spider, Cash and literally anyone. With just one season it means there’s so much more to be developed on and until we get a second season we can use fics for that exact purpose.
I guess my main take away is just to do what you want and have fun with it. Write what you would want to see on the show. Write silly little fics about missing scenes that could’ve fit into s1, write longer fics about characters and their various problems (Dusty and his anxiety could be an EXCELLENT thing to stick you teeth into). Yeah that’s it basically, just enjoy yourself, think about what you love about the show, let it form ideas in your mind and spill it all out across the page.
Oh, and I’ll include this because it so often ends up being a problem for me: don’t expect too much from yourself. It’s a new show and a new fandom so it’s totally normal if you don’t have many ideas, or you don’t immediately find yourself able to write heaps and heaps about it in one sitting. Let yourself write shitty fics first if you need to - they’ll be great practice to get into the swing of things and start writing even better!!

Top 5 moments Will Byers moments?
5 - Noticing Jonathan's hand at the hospital/worrying about Joyce in season 3: Both small moments that showcase not only the bond between the Byers family (my beloved) but also what a selfless person Will is. It is also a touch of consistent characterization, which we always love to see anywhere, and to demonstrates that the "Will has no personality in seasons 1 and 2" claim is bogus. A character doesn't need to be quippy to have a personality.
4 - Trying to stand up to the Mindflayer in season 2. Yeah, poor Bob gave bad, although well-intentioned, advice, but I love that Will took it and that he actually attempted to stand up to such a creepy, almost Lovecraftian threat. He is so brave.
3 - Destroying Fort Byers. That scene breaks my heart and I think as far as Will's mental health goes, it's a horrible moment for him; but I appreciate it in terms of storytelling. It is a hearbreaking scene that showcases Will's anger over his own trauma, his lost childhood and the growing sense of distance he feels from his friends, now that he's sexuality is becoming more obvious. It's such a great scene Unfortunately Season 3 doesn't do anything to take those aspects of his arc any further, but it's still good nonetheless.
2 - The soft coming out to Jonathan in season 4. I understand people who wish Will had been more forthcoming in this scene, I do think it would have cost nothing for the writers to allow him to express his sexuality in his own words, but I still think this is a beautiful, poignant scene; that Jonathan was able to pinpoint exactly what Will needed to hear; and that even in such an emotional and vulnerable moment Will took the time to reciprocate and tell Jonathan he could always come to him as well. Also the way he crumbles when Jonathan hugs him? Kills me. As a Will fan the Duffers don't give me much, but at least they gave me this.
1 - His heart-to-heart with Jonathan in season 2. I love everything about that scene: The way Will expresses frustration over his isolation, the way he recognises he's different, the way he sasses Jonathan with the "is that why you don't have any friends" line. It's such a lovely scene that demonstrates how dynamic his character can be when given the chance.

MARVEL ANIMATION PROJECTS FROM SDCC
I am groot
This series will premiere agust 10th and will consist of 5 shorts centered around groot (duh)
From the trailer, it looks like a comedy series with a light-hearted plot, so probably no real threat present.
It will likely be soft-canon: the series will take place in the main MCU timeline but none of the events will matter/be adressed in the future
What if...?
What if season 2 has been confirmed as part of phase 5
It will be streaming early 2023
Some of the scenarios have been announced: a story centered around Hela, Odin vs The Mandarin, Captain Carter meeting the winter soldier (most likely the Hydrastomper seen in s1 will contain a winter soldier version of Steve), tony on Saakar with Hulk and Valkyrie (scrapped episode from s1)
We dont know it the multversal teamup at the end of season 1 will be adressed, nor if the Watcher will return (although the latter seems likely)
A third season has already been confirmed
Spiderman Freshman Year
Previously confirmed by Marvel as a prequel to homecoming, however that seemed to change given that Strange and Dock Ock will appear, while peter never saw them before the Spidey/Avengers movies
It might span across the multiverse and give us a look at different spidermans, with only a few episodes centered around Tom Holland's Spidey (this could explain how so many characters will appear while still being a prequel to Homecoming)
Many spider suits will appear, including a homemade one
Doctor strange will appear
Daredevil will appear in his black suit (Voiced by Charlie Cox!!!!)
Harry Osborn (possible Hobgoblin) and Amadeus Cho ( possible Hulk variant) will appear as Peter's friends
Nico Minoru should appear (in the comic, she is a magic wielding Runaway)
Many iconic Spider-Man villains will appear: Doc Ock, Rhino, Speed Demon, Tarantula and Scoprion (we might find out why scorpion was in jail in the Homecoming post credit scene)
Norman Osborn will appear with his iconic waves, it is unclear wether he will become Green Goblin. It is rumored that he will be Peter's mentor (in a Tony Stark-esque way as a shot of him and Aunt May mirrors the first time Peter met Tony in the Mcu)
The characters and drawing style are comic accurate (including Norman Osborn's waves!!!)
A second season called Spider-Man: Sophomore Year is already confirmed
Marvel Zombies
Inspired why the zombie episode in What if season one, it will follow a group of survivors fighting through a zombie apocalypse (duh)
The series will be TV-MA (!!!!!!!)
Among the survivors we can find: Yelena Belova, Kate Bishop, Jimmy Woo, Shang-Chi, Kamala Khan, Death dealer (the masked guy from Shang-Chi), Red Guardian and Katy Chen ( also from Shang-Chi)
Other groups of survivors include an all-female group of SHIELD agents and black widows, as well as a group of skrulls
Amongst the zombies we can find: Ikaris (although it is uncleat how an eternal that is not organic can become a zombie), Abomination, A severed captain America, Okoye, Ghost, hawkeye with many arrows shot trough him, Captain Carter and the Scarlet Witch (Lmfao they are fucked going up agains these zombies)
It is unclear wether the events of what if take place in the same universe, although captain America does appear cut in half, so we dont know if well see the group of survivors from what if (Tchalla, Scott Lang's head and Peter Parker with the cloak of levitation) as well as Zombie Thanos with the infinty stones
Expect horror moments especially with ghost's ability to go through walls, as well as splatter moments
Oh and also hearbreaking moments between Kate and Yelena, and Shang-Chi and Katy when one of them gets zombified (Marvel you will pay for my therapy sessions)
Also moments between Kate and Kamala and Zombie Carol and Clint

Leander - political thrillers and spy novels for blood pumping fun, and family sagas for the ruling and financial family drama. Grey and antihero characters are his soft spot. He also likes economic nonfiction from time to time.
Skye - mostly reads nonfiction and scientific papers to anything currently of interest to her research. When she wanted to find friends, she read studies about human connections and relationship structures. From fiction she enjoys romance, any speculative genre and various apocalyptic and future-guessing novels.
Zephyr - high and epic fantasy with huge casts, military fiction and strategies in detail, realistic and historical novels and biographies. Learning from successful people of all kinds. Genre wise he is the most open to trying out anything though.
Hal - any historical fiction, tragedies and hearbreak, dark academias, detective noir book series. Best if everyone dies at the end and he can have a good cathartic cry.
Kieran - detective stories, space operas, the more different from the reality the better. He prefers happy endings and heroic knights in shining armour stories. Zephyr is getting him into military fantasy of epic scales.

Oh gosh, Lynda’s songs... Well La Centenaire is literally one my top five favourite songs of all times and all languages I think, standing side by side with with giants such a The Show Must Go On or Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This) in my personal wall of fame. It’s just so beautifully written (C’est que je suis avide/Mais qu’y a plus rien à mordre/C’est qu’mon passé déborde/Et qu’mon avenir est vide 😭😭), and addressing such an universal topic: what’s the point of living old if that’s in a world that is no longer yours, where everyone you’ve known is already gone? I can’t help thinking about my grandmother who’s turned 92 this year and whose mindset is definitely getting closer to this song every year.
And the song in itself is absolutely beautiful, the piano theme, the little violin arpeggi, Lynda’s voice at its finest bringing so much intensity to it, especially for an acoustic song... To me it’s just a masterpiece with a rare degree of perfection and I cry every time I listen to it because it’s beauty in pure form 😭❤️
And ugh, Les Deux hommes is basically La Centenaire’s little sister, a beautiful, beautiful acoustic melody and pure poetry, heartbreaking lyrics about same-sex parents facing homophobia... It makes me cry a lot too (btw thank you no thank you for this ask, anon, I listened to them both in a row to write that reply, and now I need a minute. Or two. Heck, make it an hour, okay?)
All right, all right, La Marmaille is nice, but how about I counterattack on the motherhood field with Si Je Ne Te Fais Pas d’Enfant, then ? 💔 (L’amour peut bien durer longtemps mais un enfant ça dure toujours, gah, she has her ways with words, huh?)
And oh, I didn’t know Les Maudits Français, this one belongs to the Funny!Lynda side, kinda reminds me of Les Souliers Verts which is the first song I’ve heard from her (pretty sure that was her first hit in France?) and which made me laugh so much back then 😂 (not for the story itself which is rather sad, but the lyrics are just sooooo funny and inventive)
Well, I’d say that if you know Starmania, c’est l’essentiel!!! 😍😍 I don’t necessarily find Berger’s music particularly fitting of an HPI mood, I guess that Message personnel kinda fits any bittersweet-angsty shippy situation? And of course, if you really want to dive into the drama, SOS d’un terrien en détresse for breakdown!Morgane, maybe?
Look, anon, you’re really expanding my Coeur de Pirate opinions today! Oublie-moi definitely carries this perfect mix of catchy music + somewhat angsty lyrics which is the exact brand of HPI: a colourful, irredeemable optimism tainted with delicate hearbreaks ❤️❤️ Adding it to the playlist RIGHT NOW
