Ace

— you begun sleeping together pretty soon after you started dating Ace. He quickly grew used to having you around so much that now not having at least one of your limbs on his body causes him to move himself closer to you and settle your arm around himself. If, by any chance, you wake up during the process, ginger defends himself by lying how you were groping him in your sleep which you hardly can buy, not that it matters as you suspected what he was doing and why anyways;

— though if he wakes up to the feeling of your warm body cuddled closely to his side, Ace just can't be any happier! It feels so nice having your head mashed to his side, arms folded, and legs tangled with his, even if it was too hot to stay that way. Nah, he can't possibly complain. He instead can fondly brush you hair out of your face and lighty scratch your scalp, just admiring how peaceful you were;

— Ace is well aware that he, and in fact you too, need to get up in a few minutes and get ready for the day but still tries to hold off getting up as much as he possibly can. This results in you scolding your boyfriend for not waking up you sooner, but Ace never talks back to you. He just softly smiles at you, and the only thing you can do is pout and wonder what makes him so pleased in the mornings sometimes.

Deuce

— initially when you two started sleeping together in one bed, poor Deuce always freaked out when his drowsy brain registered a person lying right next to him. He calmed down only after cautiously taking a look at your sleeping form. R-right, the boy was dating you... It still sometimes felt like a dream, too good to be true;

— Deuce woke up earlier than the alarm clock: the dream he saw wasn't the most pleasant, consisting of him protecting you from some delinquents who looked uncannily similar to his acquaintances from the school, including himself. The boy was convinced that he abandoned all those ways and was living a life of an ordinary person, or so he thought. In a attempt to turn around to shake off the thoughts, Deuce only then felt arms — your arms — wrapped around his torso, your whole body pressed to his back. He could feel how your chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm;

— although not intentionally, still hazy from sleep, Deuce interpreted it as you being there, behind his back, because you believed in him protecting you and you were there to watch him from behind. The way you were holding him tight with your arms, he was so overjoyed while still overflowing with stress from the dream that he broke down crying, quietly sobbing. Upon waking up and seeing Deuce you couldn't understand why your partner's face was so red and puffy, but you got a lot of pampering from your boyfriend that day.

Jack

— there are undeniably lot's of advantages of having a partner built like Jack. Yet it also means that there are downsides. It was fear on Jack's part: he was anxious about accidently crashing you with his body in his sleep, so he tried to stay far enough when you started to sleep together. However, during nighttime one of you would relocate closer to the other, resulting in the two of you tangled in when the morning rolled out. Beastman had to come up with the solution to avoid unintentionally causing you any harm;

— that's why one day he asked you to sleep on top of him from then on. You weren't sure if Jack would find it convenient sleeping with a weight putting pressure onto him, but if anything it meant more training for the boy which he didn't mind. The position was rather funny, so you didn't miss the opportunity to tease your boyfriend for being so needy for cuddles. Something at the start of the relationship he would vehemently deny, but now Jack only folds his arms and wordless beam, ears perked up — you got him there, didn't you;

— you held onto your words and at night you crawled on top Jack's body each time he was lying flat. And in turn, beastman begun intense muscle training which paid off quickly. Now, he was waking up to you being there, sleeping undisturbed on his chest. He did want to keep watching your frame rise up and down, but Jack didn't feel comfortable staring at you like that without you knowing. So he would wake you up by softly patting your back and with same softness calling out your name;

Epel

— this boy was so eager to sleep with you in one bed! Epel fondly remembers sleeping with his parents and some relatives long time ago when he was just a baby. Winter night never felt more warmer than that! And besides, it was rather.... lovely and romantic to sleep together with your sweetheart right? He daydreamed before how he would keep you in his strong, secure hold, though he reluctantly admitted those feelings to you;

— surprisingly to him, the reality turned out to be the contrary of what he expected. It was Epel who woke up first to realise that he had cuddled up to you instead of it being the other way around. This soured his mood greatly, so he would carefully slide away from you and change the positions. But it happened times and times again which made lavender haired boy wonder if he's missing something, and the thing he was missing was acceptance of the situation;

— once he woke up even earlier than usual, with his head nested in your collarbone and arms embracing you loosely yet again, but it was different. Epel didn't feel the urge to get away or change anything. No, it felt so natural, so familiar and warm just like his childhood memories. However, being so close to you and you protectively squeezing him was an experience he found different while vastly more enjoyable. Could it be that's why it felt so good cuddled up to each other? Whatever it was, Epel decided to resume his rest instead, breathing in warm air around you and returning back to dreams;

Sebek

— sleeping together in one bed and before marriage is highly inappropriate!... It was, before the two of you eventually did sleep together and Sebek found the attempt to be not what he dreaded it to be. When you suggested sleeping apart since you still weren't on marriage stage, half-fae denied your suggestion saying that it was unnecessary — it would be safer if you slept with him. Yes, he wasn't less of a guard even while he was unconscious!

— subsequent nights went relatively peacefully, until one morning, as per usual Sebek woke up and tried to get up for morning exercise, suddenly to feel something pulling him down by his left arm. And it was no other than you, wrapped around his arm like an ivy the boy was so used to seeing back home. It took Sebek by surprise: why were you clinging to his arm? It wasn't because of a pesky nightmare, right? You didn't seem fazed nor troubled. Not risking making the situation worse, he sucked it up and waited for you to naturally wake up;

— royal guard had to ask you for the explanation, because he wouldn't get even a minute of rest if something was bothering you! Upon hearing Sebek's observation, you bashfully presumed that you instinctively wanted to hold him in your sleep. Of course you want to hold him while being do valuable, for he was a capable and apt fae magician and a rolay guard of lord Malleus himself. Although Sebek had to gather all his mental strength to get out of your hold each morning you captured his arm. Turns out, he had so much more training to do and it had nothing to do with physical training...

Daenerys could have unfortunately been written a similar fate.

Is it the fact that Rhaegar is the perfect white handsome prince that justifies his repulsive fictional actions?

So I say again we all have the cognitive abilities to understand that Daenerys at 13/14 is a grooming victim and a childbride but for some reason that goes out the window for Lyanna Stark being signaled out by a grown man at 14, sexually groomed at 15 and dead by 16.

I've been a Pokémon fan since the very beginning and recently a friend asked me who my favourite character was. I couldn't answer with just one character. So instead I gave her my top 3 favourites from each generation - and then turned it into this. lol

Gen 1:

Blue: The original rival, you loved to hate him. :D

Erika: I loved her design as a kid, even though I had no idea what a kimono was back then lol

Bill: No idea tbh lol. I like his hair and that he's a nerd, I guess? Honestly, Gen 1 did not have that many memorable and fleshed out characters, so I kinda struggled here.

Gen 2:

Lance: Honestly, he was my fave in Gen 1 already. I love his strength, his design, his virtuousness, his bravery, his code of honour, his everything. To me he's like a knight in shiny armour from old fairytales. lol I could spend a whole day describing all the things I love about him, but I don't wanna bore you.

Eusine: Probably a weird pick for many because he is kinda obnoxious in the game lol I've always had a soft spot for him though and I really wanted him to get Suicune in the end, after he'd changed.

Morty: I love his design and colours and that he's Eusine's bff and voice of reason.

Gen 3:

Steven: He is classy, wears a really awesome suit, has very cool Pokémon and is still a huge nerd. I love it!

Archie: (I see you, @chipsncookies) Big hunk with a big smile and a cool outfit. Beard. Not a bad guy, actually. Learns that he was wrong and does everything to make things right again. Frienemies with Maxie.

Maxie: Scrawny beanpole with a silly (but very cozy looking) outfit. Secretly a dork. Not a bad guy either. Learns from his mistakes and wants to make them right again. Frienemies with Archie.

Gen 4:

Riley: I was a huge fan of Sir Aaron in the movie and Riley is just as awesome. I love his hat too. His personality is also similar to Lance's, so that's a huge plus.

Cynthia: I really, really like her. She is so cool and strong and her theme is amazing. Just like Charizard she's become too popular and that gets a bit tiresome sometimes.

Looker: Okay, I admit, it took me a while to get used to Looker. But now I like his quirky, funny Inspector Gadget shenanigans. What changed my mind was the aftergame of XY. ;__;

Gen 5:

Ingo & Emmet: I couldn't do it. I couldn't choose who of them I like more. So they share the first place.They're a duo anyway. And absolutely inseparable. R-Right?

Elesa: I like her mainly because of the fanon that she's bffs with the subway twins. But she's also not the bitchy supermodel that I first thought she was. She's actually kind and supportive.

Alder: Funny grandpa with awful hair, but a big heart and a great theme song.

Gen 6:

Lysandre: His design always gave me Ganondorf-vibes. That's pretty much it. His goal is stupid.

Emma: Her storyline in the post-game was by far the best thing in XY. And her theme is so beautiful!

Sycamore: I still wish he had actually turned out to be evil. I still like him.

Gen 7:

Kukui: What is not to love about him? He's a hunk, he loves his wife, he takes in Lillie, he punches Pokémon with his bare hands.

Lillie: Sweet little girl who deserves all the love from her friends and her adoptive parents instead of all the shit her psycho bio mother put her through.

Burnet: She's sweet and smart and kind and I wish she had a much bigger role in the game. Her anime part was great though <3

Gen 8:

Piers, Sonia and Raihan: Honestly... These are pretty much the only characters that I remember lol Gen 8 was very underwhelming for me.

Gen 9:

Arven: Just a poor neglected boy who wants to save his sick dog. In contrast to his shitty parents he's got a big heart, is caring, nurturing and supportive.

Clavell: The twist about this character was that there was no twist. He is just a very kind grandpa who genuinely cares for the well-being of his students. I also LOVE his battle theme.

Hassel: This game really is full of wholesome boomers. Hassel's got a huge heart for art and his students and Pokémon. He's also not afraid of showing his emotions.

TSR update: do you think RJ had any idea how very bisexual he was making Elayne in her POV chapters? lol

honestly? i think he did (at least by the time of the avilayne cohabitation era, maybe not as early as TSR, who knows). but he seemed to enjoy female queerness (maybe in a fetishistic way, maybe in a genuine way) and was pretty explicit about showing queer ladies, he just felt limited to only letting them be extremely minor characters (that windfinder & noblewoman who had an affair) or evil man-hating lesbians (galina, elaida) or "just a phase in college" (moiraine & siuan) and seemingly did not feel able to have a major non-evil female character be explicitly and permanently queer, no doubt due to the times and whatnot.

but he goes so out of his way to show that elayne's friendship with avi is NOT the same as her friendships with nynaeve, egwene, or birgitte, and so much of their relationship is very obviously similar to a marriage with very very thinly-veiled queer metaphors (with them sharing a bed and living together in caemlyn and elayne's reflections on how people are surprised by her ~aiel companion~ and don't understand their relationship), and they both so often think about how they love each other just as much as they love rand with halfhearted caveats that it's a different kind of love (compared to min being zero involved in sentiments like that, either on her own part or on elayne's or avi's), that i genuinely do believe it was RJ's intention to heavily imply romance (or at least sex) between them and that he would've gone full explicit avirandlayne throuple if he was writing in 2024. like, yes authors not realizing how queer they made their straight friendships is a common phenomenon (and RJ certainly did plenty of that - cauthor anyone?) but with elayne and aviendha it just...........it feels like it couldn't NOT have been intentional, to me anyway haha it's the way that as a bi woman myself, elayne's pov and thoughts and internal life feel consistently like that of a bi woman, compared to characters like egwene or nynaeve or faile who might have the occasional "r/menwritingwomen so bad it ends up sounding gay" moment, but those are just occasional funny accidental moments that feel like they're in a markedly different realm than the consistently queer way elayne thinks and behaves. we'll never really know what RJ was up to, but elayne's bi-ness truly does feel pretty intentional To Me. and that is why making elayne explicitly bi in the show will be very loyal to the spirit of the books even if the letter of them didn't let her be bi at the time they were written [bangs gavel]

I feel like a lot of people misunderstand me when I say I'm disappointed with the way Aegon was adapted.

Most of those who criticize me (and some Aegon stans who aren't apologists, because get some help seriously) throw every possible excuse there is in the book in order to rid Aegon of any kind of depth or potential for Season 2.

I've been told I can't stomach characters that are downright bad, I've been told I only cling to show!Aegon's only redeeming quality at the moment (namely, TGC) and make it THE reason why Aegon should be liked.

I really don't know why I gotta say this about myself as a preface in order to debunk that second "theory" but I can absolutely assure you that amongst all the people I've crushed on or fell in love with in all my years of life, only two of them were boys and one of them is my current boyfriend. So if anything my fuckable meter as moral compass doesn't work that well with men lmao. Thank you for admitting that this show is so bad that sometimes the only good quality about certain characters are the actors that play them, idk what to tell you.

And on not being able to handle wicked characters, really? I've got a whole blog shitting on HotD writers for a lot of reasons amongst which is the fact that they made Rhaenyra blander than unseasoned potatoes and you came to the conclusion that... I can't handle wicked characters?

I'd really have no problems with Aegon being adapted as the cruel piece of shit he is in the books. You know, the only source material. If we're talking Aegon individually, my only problem with the route they're taking is making it similar to Joffrey. We don't want Joffrey Targaryen, we want Aegon II. (And like it or not, he's so different from Joffrey it's not even funny) The only things these two kids have in common are dying from poison, having a mother who's a lady-turned-queen, having a grandfather who's hand of the king and being selfish pricks.

My problem lies with Rhaenyra. Everyone knows Aegon sucks ass, that was known even before Sara Hess came up with that caricature of cartoonish evilness and tried masking it as gray writing. It's wanting to make Rhaenyra any better that is ridiculous as fuck.

Rhaenyra was just as selfish, self-righteous and dumb as Aegon. Rhaenyra's motives were just as valid as Aegon. They are both sides of the same coin. That's the basics if you want to understand Fire and Blood. Something Sara, Ryan, Miguel and the entire team didn't understand in the slightest. If you want me to take a show about the Dance of the Dragons seriously, you want to make this SIMPLE concept clear as day, which really isn't that hard.

And I'm sorry, but the situation with Dyana, that poor thing, is always angering to watch. Despicable, yes. Unforgivable, yes. I agree. I like it when there are turns in the adaptation of a story as vague as Fire and Blood, but not when that change is made for no reason other than wanting to uplift a character who deserves anything but.

Furthermore, I beg your pardon a second time for wanting the least possible scenes of r*pe or implied r*pe on my screen. Maybe because it's triggering, not necessarily because the r*pist is played by my little meow meow, ever thought of that? If you want your audience to hate a character, put yourself at work. There are so many ways to do that. Taking the easy route (because it was an easy route, argue with the wall) because war crimes aren't enough to make people pounce at a character like rabid dogs is lazy and disrespectful to people who came to see a well developed show. First accept that there aren't saints in F&B, then you can start working.

error and ink r such a weird combo of characters to have interact, once you get past the obvious “oh destroyer and protector they’d have a hero and villain dynamic” (wrong!)

because first of all, one’s soulless the other’s a living glitch who very much has strong emotions. whatever error feels towards ink, annoyance/hatred/indifference/etc. it’s all one-sided. ink feels jack shit and simply plays his part. that’s not to mention ink can’t help but see everyone else as characters following a script because they are but error is also a meta character and technically would be “on the same level” as ink so that may not apply. but then what? is error the closest thing to an actual person to ink? not that it matters because neither of them have the capacity for any meaningful relationships. at all (at least for more than two seconds)

they have similar origins—this is funny to say because they’re both “sans” but yknow how it is. if error learned about ink’s origin and the similarities with his own, would he think he had it better or worse? would he be disturbed by his soullessness or not even flinch at that? hell, wpuld he envy ink? being able to “pick and choose” his emotions via drinking paint?

And then Ink’s just like “hey wanna play uno instead of killing me or me killing you for the nteenth time?” as if there’s a difference to him between killing or uno (and there is, even though he doesn’t think there is)
