Throwing my hat in the ring, I think Sam is going to (not should, going to) most likely come back with some sort of paladin, Most likely ancestries, imo, are dwarf, kenku, or a very small tabaxi. One of the moon people would be fun but it's harder to justify them with good healing abilities, short of some sort of bioengineer themed artificer. Either he utilizes the jail break that was concurrent with the split-party mission to bring in a paladin of a Betrayer god (very juicy potential that brings in god-loyalty from a new direction) or throws a lawful good paladin from Vasselheim at them and watches everyone cringe.
In conclusion: I think they should let Sam play Teven Klask's daughter.

predathos and the luxon being two of the only two gods that have names directly linked to their domains AND dont have titles....
predathos = predator = hunger
luxon = lux = light
luxon also = massless particle traveling at the speed of light = physics = dunamis
theyre proto-beings theyre bigger than gods. im going to die on this hill actually

So I've been thinking about Echo meeting other gods through his dreams with Tymora. And the first and foremost would be Moradin, the Allhammer. In his dreams, he's always seen Tymora as a halfling woman who is of a size with him. She's golden and glowing, but she's been in the same sort of scale with him. When Tymora takes him to the Allhammer's workshop, I think he'd be a bit more.... godly.
Tumblr media
And why would Moradin care to meet Tymora's most recent champion? Well, Echo's sporting a new item (the Ioun stone) that he forged with the aid of Durgedin (also kind of a dwarven god?) that just so happens to be LEGENDARY level. So maybe Moradin is like - okay - who the fuck is this goblin that was guided by one of my best dwarves to make a newly minted miracle? Oh, he's Tymora's new boy. Hey, Tymora, what the fuck? And Tymora's like, I'll bring him by for tea. I think you'll like him.
And poor Echo is having a moment, being in the presence of a god that's not toning any of the godliness down for him.

Next is my Dwarf (Mountain Dwarf) Fighter (again im fucking basic) Battle Master (Soldier/Infantry, Defense). He usually uses a Warhammer and Shield as his main combat type but has 2 Handaxes he likes to try and throw when the need arises.
Jet Stonebrow
His Family is normally known for crafting mainly jewelry and Gem work which started with his Grandfather (Azadur) known as "Gem Cutter" or just "Cutter". His Family sigil is engraved on both his helmet and Shield (a set of furrowed brows with the persons namesake Gem set between/above the brows like a third eye in a diamond shape the shield Sigil has a pair of menacing eyes below the brows. As seen above drawn by me.) His Father is Cutter's son Onyx his mother is named Desana he has an Older sister named Amethyst ("Amy") and a Younger Brother Jasper. Jet's brown shoulder length hair and mid chest length braided beard are both tied with gold rings. He uses a Warhammer instead of a traditional Axe because "You dont use an Axe to crush stone so why would bone be any different" the hammer is itself engraved on the sides with the anvil of the dwarven god Moradin.
As said above Jet as a Dwarf worships Moradin, as a child of Jewelry makers/Gem cutters worships Dumathoin, as a Fighter he prays to Clangeddin Silverbeard, Gorm Gulthyn, and Haela Brightaxe. (The All-Hammer and Torag in Exandria and Golarion)

[ID: A digital drawing of Orym, Dorian Storm, and Fearne Calloway from Critical Role. They're sat on a gondola in Jrusar. Orym and Dorian are sat smiling and talking to each other, and Fearne is grinning and holding a very large Allhammer earring that she stole. End description.]

hey uh
this whole ‘magic methods of imprisonment are failing’ thing...
what about the primordials almost unleashed by Avalir’s fall?
what does this mean for the Rites of Prime Banishment?
Pelor was involved in both occasions the Rites were used (direct architect and fighter for one, provided the basic insight and one bead of divinity for the other), and we know from Deanna that his influence is... shaky, compared to usual. Let alone the influence of the Allhammer and Ioun.
Are the chains that bind Tharizdun and Vecna weakened?
Are we facing down a situation where the over-arching villains of the last two campaigns might either be the first things devoured by Predathos, or play a hand in weakening him if they lash out first?
Which is worse?

Arawn didn't think they'd stay in Vasselheim. He thought a year, two at most and they'd be back in Wildemount. Maybe that was naive. He'd never known anything other than Wildemount, he could barely imagine anything other than Wildemount.
However, two years later, they were still in Vasselheim. More than that, they were settled? They had a house, Rhiannon loved her school, Arawn was settled at the temple, and Loras, despite the difficulties that he specifically faced in Vasselheim, was thriving. Certainly less...maniacal than he used to be. If someone had told him a year ago, the half-feral politician he'd found in his living room would become a housewife, he'd have laughed in their face.
And yet there Loras was. And here Arawn was considering a future that he'd never thought he'd get to have.
And a very important question he wanted to ask. There was a golden band in a box in his pocket. He'd had a cleric of the Allhammer enchant it and it's matching pair with warding bond.
Tumblr media
"We should go to dinner tonight," he said, walking into their living room. "Just the two of us, I can ask the neighbors to watch Rhia."

[ID: A digital painting of the Allhammer, from Exandria lore. He is a faceless dwarf, with holding a flaming-white heart in his hands, braids blowing back in the heat. He is framed by wrought gold depicting mountains, clouds, etc. An etched green and gold hammer, with dwarf faces on each end, rests at the bottom of the frame.]
Here's my take on Moradin, the Allhammer, for the @artists-guild-of-exandria Beyond the Divine Gate project. It was really fun to dig-in to the lore of a deity I wasn't very familiar with, to find how I wanted to express his essence in my art. You can find more art from this project in the hashtag below, or by following the Artist Guild of Exandria here or on Twitter! So many amazing artists participated in this project, it was really cool to see everyone's art come together!

Okay, for shits and giggles: any C2 or C3 character of your choice, given you know just the barest things about them. I'm curious, and asking about any of the classic C1 characters you poke at feels Dull
For Reasons, I'm gonna go with Fearne.
favorite thing about them
Fae stealy vibes. A lot of people don't grok the particular sideways way that fae entities can operate at - Matt does, as evidenced by how he handles Artagan, but I think a lot of the fandom doesn't so much, with how I've seen Artagan (and consequently Garmelie) written at times. Fae aren't necessarily snide! They can be, but they can also completely forget something and flit onto something else. They can fleetingly fixate on a fun new idea.
And everything I've seen of Fearne shows that Ashley gets this. I am very much looking forward to watching C3 for this exact reason.
least favorite thing about them
I can't think of anything, but then I've not watched C3 so I don't have a full picture.
favorite line
Not really a line, but I love her stealing the... I believe Allhammer earring from the... I believe Loxodon. Elephant guy. And similarly, her thieving back and forth with Ashton. It's very cute.
brOTP
Chetney. Grouchy werewolf and cheerful fae faun is a combo I think is very entertaining.
OTP
@nanyoky has pre-emptively converted me: Callowmoore. Largely due to Nell, I do think that Fearne's fae possessiveness would actually help Ashton's own insecurities about being left behind a lot, in much the same way many people have speculated that Vex domme-ing Percy would help him with his self-worth issues. A persistent reminder that someone finds them worthwhile enough to hold onto and hold close, who will steal them from others, who won't see them left behind because they're hers. I think that'd help Ashton a lot and it'd also be a fitting culmination to the thieving game.
nOTP
*shrug emoji* Don't know enough for C3. I guess Orym, because he seems to be gay and not bi, and also because their platonic bonds as part of the Crown Keepers is a Good thing that helps to complicate the Bells Hells in a similar way to how the twins complicated Vox Machina, or, say, Caleb and Nott complicated early Mighty Nein. Pre-existing platonic bonds can make potential splits from the group more likely and that is fun. Yes, Laudna and Imogen knew each other pre-Hells, but we actually have a better idea what experiences Fearne and Orym share.
random headcanon
Fearne taught Mister to play patty-cake. It involved a lot of fire.
unpopular opinion
Fae conceptions of ownership and non/personhood haven't fucked Fearne up quite as people might expect. After all, she is fae. She knows those conceptions - she holds them and applies them herself - and so having them applied to her isn't really that strange.
It's not that which necessarily fucks her up.
But being left behind and forgotten does. The passage of time being irrelevant does. Because she grew up in what felt fleeting to her parents, and she was abandoned - and we know she holds onto what she finds and claims from her own, from Mister to Orym (resurrecting him) to what little items she steals.
song i associate with them
N/A
favorite picture of them
@agarthanguide's original Crown Keeper's art for her I think? Or... if I'm to be specific the second splash page. This one:
Tumblr media
I like the glowy eyes and the play of light, the twist of the branch that Mister is on being so similar to the twist of her staff. I think it's really cool. Plus how, as the druid and so nature-based, she almost blends into the nature of the background. I think it's very clever and while I know Hannah may not have thought of it like that while drawing it, I still think it's very neat.
Send me a character and I'll answer for each of the above for them

Can i ask for some gifs from when grog and percy were forging the divine trammels in c1 ep 108? Matt describing grog in the image of the allhammer forging weapons of old is literally simmering in my memory and i cant find any gif sets about this moment 🥹🙏
hey anon i'm sorry but i don't really have the bandwidth to make c1 gifs right now, so i'm gonna have to say no to this one...i'm rly sorry!!! unfortunately giffing c1 is just not a super fun experience for me bc it's low quality in like 4 different ways, and currently i want to focus more on giffing c3. but i think there are some other gifmakers in the fandom that have been making more c1 gifsets, maybe you can ask them? sorry again!!
